Chapter 5:
Shen Du was furious. "That's two talismans," says Shen Du.
"And where is Tohru," asks Valmont.
The door opens and they all see Tohru. "You three left me behind!" Tohru was about to attack them...
"Enough," says Shen Du, "so far, I am not impressed!"
"Hey, if you think it's that easy, why don't you try," asks Finn, "oh wait, you can't, because you're a statue!"
"Finn, remember the story I told you," says Valmont.
"Yeah, yeah," says Finn, "he was a demon who ruled China, and the Talismans will help him get his powers back and he needs to sacrifice some kid so he can get his dragons back!"
"And if all that is done, you will all have the Lost treasure of Ching Xi Hung," says Shen Du. His eyes then started to glow. "I sense the Snake Talisman! It's in New York City!"
"The big apple," says Finn.
"The city that never sleeps," says Ratso.
"If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere," says Chow.
"Do not fail me," says Shen Du.

Jackie and Jade arrive in New York. "What do you mean someone already took the talisman," asks Jackie.
"A cunning thief. Her name is Viper!"
"Well, can you tell us what kind of animal was on the talisman," asks Jade.
"I think it was a snake."
"Wait, first El Toro had the ox and now a woman named Viper has the snake," asks Jade, "you see the irony?"
"Jade, oxen and bulls are not the same," says Jackie.
"Gimme a break," says Jade, "I'm an animal lover, but doesn't mean I know everything about them."
"Anyway, we suspect Viper might come back for the Pink Puma!" He points to it.
"Well, good luck," says Jackie.
...
"Jackie, we should trap this Viper lady," says Jade.
"I will get the talisman," says Jackie, "you are going to stay safe!"
...
That night, Jackie was asleep, but he finds himself in Ancient China.
"Jackie," says a mysterious voice. Jackie looks and sees big red eyes in a dark cloud. "How nice to meet you." Jackie runs. "Come back, don't you want to play?" Jackie finds himself in a room with twelve animals and finds a girl's body lying on a table. "The girl will die and there's nothing you can do about it!" A large hand grabs Jackie. "Now, I'm hungry." Jackie screams...

Jackie wakes up and sees Jade is about to poor whip cream on his hand. "Did I wake you," asks Jade.
...
That night, Jackie snuck into the museum, to wait for Viper. He stood there, but no sign. "It's like high school all over again," says Jackie. He then thought he felt someone bump into him. "Huhh?"

Jackie finds the Pink Puma, but then sees it floating. "The Snake Talisman... can make you invisible," says Jackie. He then chases after the floating puma.
...
Jackie continues to chase after the floating puma, until he tackles Viper and she's visible. "You must be Viper," says Jackie.
"And you must be heavy," says Viper, pushing him off.
The two fought. "I just want the talisman," says Jackie, "and to call the police about your crime!"
"You're in as much trouble as I am," says Viper.
"I'm just here for the talisman you took," says Jackie.
"A stolen talisman, plus vigilantism's a crime," says Viper.
Jackie pauses. "Fair point."
"Awesome," says Jade.
"Jade, what are you doing here," asks Jackie.
"Watching the fight," says Jade.
"You always bring a kid," asks Viper.
"Not by choice," says Jackie.
Jade walks over to Viper. "You are awesome," says Jade.
They then heard slow clapping. "Bravo."
"Valmont," says Jackie.
"A pleasure to meet you," says Valmont, "and I believe you know the Shadowkhan!"
The Shadowkhan appear. "Who are you guys," asks Viper.
Jackie and Viper end up fighting off against the shadowkhan. Jade then takes the talisman and turns invisible, but Valmont reveals this dragon statue he has. "Nice try, child," says Valmont.
Jackie and Viper then tackle Valmont, who then pushes them both off. "I'll leave this to the shadow," says Valmont. The Shadowkhan then make a portal that Valmont walks through.
"Seriously, is this a hidden camera show," asks Viper.
The police then come and the shadowkhan are forced to leave.

Captain Black managed to pull some strings to get Jackie and Jade out of trouble. "What about Viper," asks Jade.
"Isn't she a criminal," asks Captain Black.
"Well... yeah, but she's really cool," says Jade.
"At least we got this talisman," says Jackie.
...
Jackie tells Uncle about the dream he had. "Interesting," says Uncle, "I shall see if I can find out what it means." Uncle walks away.
Jackie thinks about that voice he heard.
