Captain Black's still recovering in the hospital, but Jackie still has to find the talismans. In San Francisco, the Rat Talisman is being auctioned. Jackie manages to get it, but it brings Jade's Gnomecop to life.

Jackie finds the Horse Talisman in the Himalayas, where a chase from the Dark Hand leads to an avalanche.

Jackie and Jade find the Monkey Talisman underwater near Micronesia, but then Jade turns herself into a monkey.
...
Jackie finds Dog Talisman in Holland, then Uncle uses it to feel young again.
...
Jackie then finds the Pig Talisman, also in Holland, and Hak Fu was using its power.

Shen Du was furious. "I am giving you all one chance," says Shen Du, "the Rat Talisman would have been the key to my freedom and the other talismans would have given me my powers! There's only one left! Do not fail me!"

Captain Black has finally woken up. "What do you mean you don't remember what happened," asks Jackie.
"The last thing I remember is seeing Valmont," says Captain Black, "and that's it!"
"But the magic..." Captain Black glares. "I said the M-word again, didn't I," I asks Jackie.
