Others waited for the girls outside, when Kit noticed them coming and they saw how Kate tried to comfort Julia.

"What happened?" Murray asked, when girls were closer.

"It's not a big thing." Kate told everyone, while Julia looked at her checkerboard shoes, hands behind her back.

The train arrived 15 minutes later to the train station and when Kate followed the others inside to the train, Kate was sure that she heard something. But when she looked everywhere, there wasn't anything strange going on.

"Guess I heard my own." She shrugged her shoulders and walked to the private cabin, which Penelope has reserved for them, where they can talk in peace and make plans.

"Tickets and passports, s'il vous plaƮt." The conductor came to ask for them, when the train had started to move.

Everyone gives tickets and passports to the conductor who looks at them and after looking at them, he gives them back one by one. When he stopped for and looked at Bentley.

"Excuse me," The conductor started and everyone started to hold their breath, but tried to look as normal as possible.

"This passport is getting old tomorrow."

"O-oh, I didn't notice that. I'll get a new one when we are in England." Bentley said, fixing his glasses.

The conductor gave a passport back to Bentley, nodded his head and closed the door. They all sighed as relief.

"How did I miss that?" Bentley asked embarrassed and felt Penelope's hand on his shoulder.

"Those things would happen to anyone."

Kate looked at Penelope, arms crossed and rolling her eyes, letting a sigh out of her nose.

She can't handle seeing her ex-friend like that. No matter what others would tell her, she would never forgive Penelope. Kate took her earphones, put them into her original ear and closed her eyes, trying to get some sleep.

The train traveled peacefully. Murray, Julia and Vexen went to buy snacks for everyone. Sly has started to tell Kit how they met Kate, while Penelope showed their cottage picture to Bentley.

A kitchen and living room in the first room. Two bedrooms on the first floor and bedroom upstairs.

"That backyard looks good, no one won't see us." Bentley said, nodding his head positively, when suddenly Kate started to mumble and her eyebrows told that she saw a nightmare.

Penelope gave a laptop from Bentley, walked closer to Kate and started to wake her.

Kate woke up breathing fast and eyes wide open, she looked at the cabinet and leaned to her knees while crossing her hands, so the shaking will stop.

"Kate, it's alright. It was just a nightmare." Penelope told her.

"But, it felt so real and even sounded like that." Kate answered, looking at her beige heel boots, realizing then who she had talked to.

"I'm going to catch some air." She said and stood up and walked to the door.

When Kate had left, Penelope hugged herself looking out of the window.

"Penelope?" Kit asked carefully.

"I know that she can't forgive easily, but I am sorry about what happened to all of you, really." Penelope told them, still feeling guilty after everything.

"I'll talk to her." Sly said and stood up.

"Or at least, try to talk to her." He thought while opening a door.

Sly found Kate quickly who was actually near the train door, leaning to the wall, fingers playing with a medallion.

"I'm not in the mood to talk." Kate said, watching quickly her eyes to Sly and then back to views.

"Then listen." Sly told her and leaned to the wall, right in front of her.

Sly started to explain what Penelope had explained to them, how Le Paradox had forced her to do own time-machine for him.

Kate was quiet after Sly had told everything to her, but he saw that she's not ready to apologize.

"Okay, I get it, you need some space." He said and walked back to the cabinet.

Kate let her head lean to the wall and sighed, closing her eyes on the second. Her fingers start to hold a medallion, when a thought comes to her mind; does her dad even know the truth about his bloodline?
