"Today, Union forces from across the Sildaru and Sigalis Commonalities have been pulled together to respond to the Federation's attack on the Sildaru Commonality. The region has been stripped of much of its defenses due to the conflicts across the Union's borders, with precious few warships and first line ground formation remaining to respond to the Federation's hostility. The redeployments of forces in the last few hours have left the Commonalities nearly undefended. Calls for assistance from then rest of the Union have so far gone unanswered. "
