Outside of town, in the dinner.

3rd POV

Lightning flashes in the night as rain came down on the little dinner. In that lighting strike, Ms. Marsh looks on with lifeless eyes and hangered breath. In hand was blood covered axe as she slowly moved towards Weiss. Weiss herself looked no better then Marsh. She barely evaded the Dead Lights, only to find the horrific sight of that poor woman in the back. She was butchered beyond recognition. Mutilated by the same axe that Ms. Marsh had as she approaches Weiss. After a few moments of shock Weiss broke free before speaking to Ms. Marsh as she slowly approaches Weiss.

"Ms. Marsh… are you feeling well? This is… not normal behavior, granted the bizarre situation we find ourselves, it still doesn't excuse the suggestive behavior with that axe." Weiss tried pleading with Ms. Marsh as she moved towards her Axe in hand. She staggered a few steps forward before raising it. Before she could bring it down Weiss pulls out her rapier and blocked the blow. Holding out Weiss managed to speak the following before pushing Ms. Marsh back. "Ms. Marsh, for Monty sake cease this sporadic behavior. I am not going to harm you!"

Clearly not listening, Marsh attacked Weiss with uncoordinated but savage blows with the axe. Yet Weiss managed to parry and block each strike with relative ease. It wasn't until she was pushed against the wall did she strike Marsh. With the slash from the tip of her blade, she left a deep cut on the bridge of Marshes nose. Enraged by this Marsh continued to madly swing her blade around like a wild animal. Weiss easily evaded each swing without losing a beat, all while trying to calm her down with words. Yet nothing Weiss said could stop Ms. Marsh's mad attacks. Having enough Weiss finally decided to put an end to this. Weiss continue to parry every attack until Marsh exhausted herself, allowing for Weiss to come in and deliver an aura infused punch to Marshes face.

She had very little left after the rag doll experience but it was enough to send Ms. Marsh to the ground before being kicked in the side of the head. Marsh fell unconscious, and Weiss bends over to catch her breath. Remarking under her breath. "Huff, Huff… (Sigh) so uncivilized."

A few minutes passed before Marsh woke up. Weiss had bound her to a nearby table with some rope she found outside, and as an extra measure kept any sharp objects away. Excluding her weapon, which is pointed at Marshes neck.

"Now, Ms. Marsh, let's try this again. Preferable more civilized." Weiss scolded as she pointed her blade at Marshes neck before pulling it off. "First, can explain why you attacked me?"

Marsh glared at Weiss with vial eyes for a few moments. After a bit she finally reluctantly spoke. Giving a semi decent answered. "I… I wasn't thinking straight. My deranged grandpa summoned… tsk like you would believe me."

"… I was at your farmstead Ms. Marsh." Weiss spoke as she got to her knees and looked Marsh dead in the eye. "I was chased, twice by these 'Dead Lights'. Nearly disintegrated as well. So with time going against us I'd recommend that you cease this absurdity and the attitude and tell me right gods damn now why you attack me, what are these dead lights really, and how to stop them, before I let your grandfather's work continue!"

Marsh remained quiet before questioning. "You were touched by what the locals call Dead Lights?"

"If that's what you would call it, yes." Weiss remarks with a brow raised.

"Huh… what was your name again. Don't believe I got it when you and that Mexican ran me over with your car." Ms. Marsh asked with newly found interest.

"I'd gladly answer, and it was Ms. Fausta who was driving. I had nothing to do with that. However I would like you to answer my questions first." Weiss negotiated much to Ms. Marshes annoyance.

"Tsk, you're a stubborn piece of work. I'll give you that. Very well, what do you want to know?" Marsh reluctantly agreed.

From there Weiss and Marsh talked. Learning a few things from one another. Marsh, or her first name Joana, comes from a small community in New England. Due to some rough times the family moved out west to set up an orchard for extend family. However her mentally deranged idiot of a grandfather had snapped in his old age. He was a crazed loon in his youth, having been sent to the sanitarium in Arkham to recuperate. But regardless of his mental state, he caused this and sufficiently paid for it with his own life. As for why Marsh attacked Weiss, it was admittedly she wasn't thinking straight. This Deadlights, they caused all manner of affection, including temporarily memory loss, irritation, agitation, and even cellular mutation. While it was difficult for Marsh to explain, it sounds like Dust Alteration Poisoning. Or how these people would refer to it as, radiation poisoning. Which would explain some things, but this isn't some unstable dust element, it was as if this thing was alive in some way. Regardless, this thing is only interested in anyone with the Marsh Blood. And by Joana's admission, that could be the entire east coast. So that means this thing has to be stopped. Though how was the only question neither girl could answer.

"… (Sigh) I swear to the gods this night couldn't get any worse." Weiss remarks as she rubs her exhausted eyes.

"Yeah. By my own admission, we are facing forces that go beyond your impressive knowledge." Marsh said as massages her wrist.

"Flattery will mean very little in a time like this." Weiss remarks in an uninterested tone as she turns her head to look outside at the storm.

"Wasn't saying that to flatter you. Not many intellectuals live out here and even then, they do not have such a versatile understanding of the world. Tell me, where are you from again?" Ms. Marsh asked with keen interest of Weiss.

"California." Weiss lied as she watches another flash of lighting go off in the distance.

"Uh huh, and I came from the ocean. Seriously, how did a fine bloodline like yourself come to be here?" Ms. Marsh asked sending a chill down Weiss spine.

Seriously, what kind of question refers to a person by blood line? Before Weiss could answer or rebuttal that she noticed something off in the distance. A strange cloud hanging over head. It was a massive storm cloud. It was like nothing before seen, lighting of various color shot out from those clouds, and a small hurricane begins to form. For some horrifying reason, Weiss felt an urge to head to that Hurricane. Knowing full well that her can't be good, she begins to wonder if her compatriots had the same idiotic idea as well.

"There probably in town." Ms. Marsh said abruptly throwing Weiss's thoughts off.

"Hmm?" Weiss asked before turning to Ms. Marsh. "Who's in town?"

"Your friends. The Mexican and the Sheriff." Ms. Marsh replied before turning to look out at the horrible storm cloud. "I have heard stories about how the color works. A light never before seen crash landing in the quaint Miskatonic valley, only for it to leave but not before destroying everything."

"Color? You mean the same one that has chased me and everyone in this county?" Weiss asked with a brow piqued in curiosity.

"Perhaps, though that is a much weaker and older form. It doesn't have that hypnotic effect on those of strong blood." Ms. Marsh explained.

"Tsk, I doubt it's the reason why I'm not effected. But yeah, it certainly is worrisome." Weiss said as she looks up at the storm clouds. "Do you think my compatriots stupidly followed it?"

"Most certainly so. It's only logical that we are not affected by such a trivial thing." Ms. Marsh said unemotionally. In response Weiss quickly gets to her feet and heads for the exit when Ms. Marsh stopped her. "Where are you going?"

"Into town. We got to find those two." Weiss said as she pushed past Ms. Marsh and heads out into the rain. Yet again Marsh tried to persuade Weiss from going.

"Why risk your life for them? Someone of your stature shouldn't run the risk of dying. Specially over a Mexican." Marsh said as she grabbed ahold of Weiss hand.

"Monty almighty why do you think I'm doing this, she's a friend." Weiss snapped as she ripped her hand free.

"A friend, with a low born?" Ms. Marsh asked with a brow raised.

"Yes. And for your information, you and every other bigot I've met can take that barbaric sudo-science theory of race, and shove it down your damn Piute throats." Wiess snapped before stomping off. She didn't bother to listen to Marshes pleads to not throw her life away but she didn't bother. If she wanted to listen to trash like that, she'd listen to Dixiecrats over the car radio.

She didn't care that she left Marsh behind. She had to focus on finding her friend. She made her way down the road, towards town. It was a long walk but after an hour walking in the piss pouring rain, she finally made it to town of Huntsville. Completely deserted with a low hanging fog that emulated the same undescribed color all around the ground. It had an eerie atmosphere overhanging it. Every fiber of Weiss's being screamed out to run, yet her mind told her to stay. She gave a small sigh before taking a step into town, then another, and another, before suddenly she found herself walking through the ghost town. All along the side of the road were traces of people's personal things like umbrellas, purses, and the occasional roaming stray dog with their leashes. Yet nobody was around. It gave Weiss the chills as she regrets coming here. Yet she still looked for her friends.

For suspense, play "Pickman's Model: H.P. Lovecraft Orchestral Horror Music"

She walked through the town for a good twenty minutes, passing by multiple abandoned buildings and stores, before she spotted someone. A young girl, no older than herself. She called out to her but she walked aimlessly down the side road. Seeing how she couldn't find anyone in this desolated town she quickly perused the child, unaware that something was following right behind her. Weiss chased the little girl till she caught her on the open street. Demanding for her to answer a few questions, Weiss looked right into those… eyes, and her demands for answerers fell silent. The child's eyes, they weren't natural. They illuminated the same bizarre color as the Dead Lights. The heat from those eyes was so intense that they burned the flesh around the eyes. It was a horrifying sight, yet she couldn't look away. In those haunting visages, Weiss foresaw many great and horrible things.

The seven star system of Xoth, the living planet of Aucturn, The golden city of Carcosa, and the obscure landscapes of the dreamlands. But most hauntingly, she sees her planet of Remnant. The lone spat of earth and water under the shatter moon, dissipate under a flash of white, and all those who lived on it disappearing alongside it. Horrified she screams, but in a space of nothingness, nobody could hear such a thing… except one. A horrific sound of roars can be heard behind her. She took one quick glimpse behind her, before seeing that… thing. Whatever she saw in the corner of her eye was too much and she fell to her knees. Upon doing so, she found herself looking at the feet of a stranger.

She was back on the main street of Huntsville. No longer was it an empty street, but a cluster of hundreds of it civilians. They all stared off down the street, where a large clutter of them standing about. All of them in some kind of trance, all eyes were staring blankly and unlively at a pot hole in front of a building. Curious, Weiss approaches the pothole. As she got closer she noticed how none of the people were responsive to her presence. That's when she spotted two familiar figures near the front. Fausta, and Gram. Standing in the crowed, with a blank look on their faces. Weiss quickly raced over to them but they were unresponsive to them.

"Fausta, Sheriff!" Weiss shouted as she shook Fausta.

Both didn't respond, rather continued to stare on at the hole in the street. Weiss didn't give up. She continued to shake Fausta for a good minute before slapping her across the face with her right arm. When that didn't work she used her prosthetic. Still nothing. Wondering what was so important, Weiss decided to investigate the hole in the ground. She got right to it when she realized what it was. At the bottom of that abyss of a hole was a huge rock of some sorts. The Meteorite. It remained dormant for a few moments before suddenly it begins to crack, with a glow of lights. The rock from the deps of space slowly begins coming apart like an egg, with colors unknown to any glowing radiantly from it. By now Weiss finally listened to her body, and quickly run back to her friends. With haste she managed to make it halfway between them when the ground began to shake, and the meteorite explodes.

The lights went crazy, as a powerful vortex of lights and colors out stretched from the hole up into the sky. It was so powerful that it begun to suck in those who gathered closest to it. Weiss included. Refusing to be pulled in, she focused all her aura into her legs, trying to escape the vortex of colors. As she does, she can feel her atomic structure, following apart from the covalent bonds. Her body was leaving behind a trail, like a phasing phantom. The more powerful the vortex got, the more towns folks got sucked into the whirlwind. Eventually, Fausta and Gram were sucked towards the light. Spotting the two and unable to hold on, Weiss used her family semblance. Summoning a Queen Lancer. She quickly grabbed hold of her summons and rode it to Fausta and Gram. She grabbed the two just before they were designated in the storm. Using the momentum, she slings shot herself around and out towards the town, however the storm shot a bolt of lightning. Hitting her summoned grim, killing it and sending them flying to the ground hard.

"Ugh, que diablos paso?" Fausta spoke in a groggy tone as she pulls herself up, only to feel an intense pain in her right arm. Looking down at her arm she saw her arm covered in multiple purple welts. She recognized the pain after a few moments, her arm was most certainly broken.

"Ugh, Qué diablos pasó ... oh Dios, Weiss!" Fausta shouted out, seeing Weiss slowly picking herself up.

"Weiss? Ugh where did you… wait… where… are we?" Gram asked in a painful mutter as he holds his right wrist that was dislocated.

"Huntersville, but now is not the time. We need to get out of here. Right now!" Weiss snapped as the tornado of lights let's out multiple bolts of colorful lightning down onto the town. Disintegrating everything that the bolt touches.

"Oh querido señor!" Fausta screams out in horror as she sees the light storm.

"The hell is that!" Gram screamed in horror.

"Not the time to be asking that!" Weiss said as she picks him up to his feet. "We need to get away."

"You kidding me, we can't outrun that!" Gram shouts out as a bolt of lightning disintegrates a nearby dumpster.

"Then we should find shelter. A Sótano, somewhere deep." Fausta said as she rips her jacket and makes a makeshift sling.

"Better then nothing, so run!" Weiss shouts as the three made a break for main street.

By now the storm was picking up speed. It became so powerful that it started pushing around cars. Struggling to stay to the ground, the three broke off from main street and went down side roads that got them out of the strong winds. However, that proved to be a temporary refuge, as the winds grew stronger, houses and stores made of brick begin falling apart. They hurried through multiple alleyways, as the storm got worst. They soon spotted their salvation, The Huntsville Unit. A prison built back in the early 19th century. Place was designed to house inmates, so it was possible their best hope for safety.

They raced on over to the prison doors, but Weiss noticed something. The lights they were flashing when a large figure emerges forward. The three didn't get a good look at it, but the moment it stepped outside, they realized what… or who, it was.

Standing, nearly eight feet tall, proportionately obsessed, three arms, with two small lengthy on the right and one oversized left one, it staggering forward uncoordinated. It wasn't till that creature exited the jail that the three recognized it. Much to their horror. It was the Millers. Horribly and nearly unrecognizably fuzzed together to form a blob-ish grotesque creature. The sight of it nearly caused Sheriff Gram to faint from fright, but the eyes. The eyes of that abomination were what terrified the three the most. They burned with an unusual and disturbing glow, of hatred of a thousand light years. Something only seen a hand full of time this night. The glow, of the dead lights.

"Oh you got to be kidding me." Weiss remarks in shock as the glow the dead lights went through the abominations entire bloated body before letting out a horrific shriek.

The creature races forward but was easily avoided. The three dived to the side as the abomination that once was the Millers raced head first into the car. Not having the time to fight it, Weiss screamed for them to get inside. Not thinking twice the three raced inside the jail, sprinting right towards the entrance of the prison. The abomination followed after. The long-abandoned halls of the prison were vast and empty, but to escape the storm the three needed to find a cellar, maybe a laundry or shower. Somewhere bellow ground. However, looking for an escape proved rather difficult, with an abomination chasing after them. The creature while an abomination, was surprisingly fast. It had a keen eye on Weiss for some reason. Seeing how they can't escape it an find a shelter, Weiss made possible the dumbest decision of the night. She locked the door between her and Fausta and Gram.

"Weiss what are you doing?! Have you gone loca we need to run!" Fausta shouts as she tries to open the bard door.

"Possible, but we don't have time. You and gram look for a shelter I'll… distract it!" Weiss said as the creature turned the corner and begging to sprint to her. "Go now!"

Weiss then ran down another hall, towards a door. Bursting in to find the kitchen. She made it halfway through the halls when the storm got so powerful that the roof begins to collapse. Weiss let's out a loud curse as the creature burst in. It raced towards her as the roof fell. Weiss barely avoided the terrible thing as the roof came down around her. She zig-zagged through the cafeteria before diving through the door just as a beam came down on the abomination. She quickly got to her feet and looked at the door. She begins huffing in pure adrenalin exhaustion as she stares at the door. For a moment, she thought the damn thing was dead, when it suddenly broke through the door with its massive fist. The damn thing was coming apart from head to toe, exposing the deadlights inside. Barley evading Weiss burst down the hall with the thing worming its way towards her. As she raced down the hall, the sound of the increasingly large hurricane was begging to become more noticeable by the second. It's thunderous bolts, and howling winds were so loud, one could mistake them for jet streams within an earshot. Yet despite the loud roars of the vortex, Weiss could hear Fausta, somewhere calling her name. she turned a corner and spotted her at the end of the hallway. Standing over stairs heading down into a basement, Weiss booked it towards her, with the monster high on her heels.

Just when she finally though she was safe, did the storm of the strange lights hit the prison. Disintegrated the walls, allowing for the wind's to nearly suck her out had it not been for her weapon. She stabbed the ground and held on for dear life as vortex pulled at her atoms. The creature was being sucked out as well. But not by it's flesh, but by the Deadlights itself. Weiss watches on as the lights of the meteorite drags the deadlights from the abomination, into the heart of the storm. It was like a black hole, sucking a light into it's core. However the force from absorbing the light sent everyone flying forward before pulling at a stronger gravitational pull. Weiss went flying into Fausta, who grabbed her just before she was pulled. The two were close enough to the ground that with the help of Weiss Aura, they could get down before shutting the door. Just before they could however, the abomination came to life one more time, and grabbed ahold of Weiss prosthetic.

Weiss screamed in horror as the thing tried to pull her out by her false arm. Fausta tried to pull her in but the pull of both the abomination and the storm, she couldn't close the door and hold onto Weiss at the same time. As they struggled for a few intense moments, Gram quickly raced on over and snatches Myrtenaster from Weiss side. Without a second thought begins hacking away at her prosthetic. With a few quick swings the entire false arm came off, and the two girls fell to the ground as the door shuts behind them. Gram quickly locked the door, leaving the abomination Miller outside with its meager reward.

Whatever that abomination that was the Millers has become begin to bang on the basement door intensity. Yet no matter how hard or despite the loud banging, it couldn't get inside. The noise of the oncoming hurricane soon drowned out the banging, and got to the point that the sound of the strong winds was overpowering the three. They held their ears in agony as the storm grew louder and louder, and the lights it produced got to the point of overpowering the Deadlights itself. Just then all went white and the noise ceased. For a few moments nothing happen, till the basement doors opened. Weiss, covered in dust came out of the hole. She blinked a few times, disoriented as she see's the damage the storm had done. There was nothing left of Huntsville. As she looked around, Fausta and Gram emerged from the Basement. They were in complete shock at what had been left behind.

It was like a scene out of the book of revelations. The end times. There was no fire, no people. All that was left was ash. As they took a few steps, Weiss hear the sound of metal underfoot. Looking down she see's Ms. Marsh's Necklace. It's metal was no longer in pristine, but looked horrible scorched. She slowly bends down to look at it, just as she did, the first ray of the morning sun came through and gave the three survivors a better glimpse of the land. As they looked about, the view pulls up into the sky, revealing for miles the land was a wasteland. A spec on the earth forever scared by what had happened, and that horrible, indiscernible color that had caused this, flowing onwards back into the far reaches of the cosmos.

Play; Light up the Night

by Jamie Berry

Ba, da‚ ba‚ ba Just let go Ba‚ da, ba, ba Just let go

The scene opens up on a woodland area. A thick set of fog appeared before the woods when suddenly the Deadlights begin to dance in motion with the music. The view pulls into the lights before witnessing the woods in a near techno like color. It bobbles around before suddenly shifting to the side. There it spots Weiss racing through the woods. It then zooms on over to her.

Hey boy‚ you're heading myway Comeon over, swaywith me. Don't you see? We couldlight up the night You and me, we could be such a sight Whoa oh, whoa, oh Just let go

Whoa boy, spin me around 'Til my feet won't touch the ground. Let's get high on tonight, just you and I. Forget our cares, let's just share the delight Whoa, oh, whoa, oh Just let go.

It then catches up to her. As Wiess let's out a death scream the words appeared beside her, just moments before the view goes completely white.

(Patsy Ruth Miller as Weiss Schnee)

Just let go

Can't you see? We could light up the night

Hey, don't you see, -ee, -ee, hey

Hey, don't you see, -ee, -ee, -ee, hey

Hey, don't you see, -ee, -ee

As the scene returns to normal the light spots another victim. Fausta. It then speeds on over to her. Fausta onloads a few shots from her Winchester but it did practically nothing. She lets out a dying scream in horror, as words appeared beside her before the scene went white in color.

(Vera Michelena as Fausta Bell)

The Deadlights looked around for it's next victim, when it spots Sheriff Gram making a break for it. It eventually catches up to Sheriff Gram, He falls back with his Stetson flying off as he lets out a death scream. As the view slowly turns to white, the words bellow appeared beside him.

(Harold Lloyd as Sheriff Joseph Gram)

After consuming it's latest victim, the Deadlights looked around for it's last victim, spotting her dashing towards the road. The deadlight chased Marsh till she tripped and fell. However before it could devour her, a car suddenly hits her. Sending her flying over, in slow motion the words appeared bellow.

(Norma Talmadge As Ms. Joana Marsh)

Hey boy, you're heading my way Come on over, sway with me Don't you see? We could light up the night You and me, we could be such a sight Whoa, oh, whoa, oh Just let go

Whoa boy, spin me around 'Til my feet won't touch the ground Let's get high on tonight, you and I Forget our cares, let's just share the delight Whoa, oh, whoa, oh Just let go

As the song ends, the lights pull back into the woods. Watching from afar as two strangers get's out of vehicle to help the poor woman whom they had crashed into. As they helped her up, one looks in the general direction of the Dead Lights, but didn't spot it. Eventually, the stranger enters the car and drives off, only for the Dead Lights to follow, leaving behind the view in the darkness of the storm.

Finally This arc took me forever. Who would have thought an hour adventure turned into months of hard writing. (Sigh) Regardless Hello everybody, this is Wombag1786 here. Finally relieved to have finish the story arc, and honestly I'm looking forward to the next one. Right, now then enough of me belly aching about having to do research on radiation, and black hole theory's. Let's get to the questions and comments.

From Crimson Weresloth: Sadly so. Even then she's not exactly a good person. (And that's putting it mildly) yes, problem is, while there is a big group of them north of Arkham, they are quite spread out and has given their blood to those outside. Even then it still needs energy. Suffice to say he unleash a monster that can't be killed. Thank god for Black holes.

Thanks for writing Crimson Weresloth.

From Carre: 1. No problem.

2A. Yep, not every horror is expierenced first hand. Even then it raises questions about the family. But I'm sure you can guess whom the family they are referring to.

2B. Close, thankfully.

2C. Way I see it. Put the word "Pan" next to "cake" and no questions asked she will devour it.

3. Yeah thanks. This job may possible pay for a full scale comic. (Only if the people want it.)

Thanks for writing Carre.

From Black cross0: Eh, only difference being that she can last a second longer… though I dread to think what form she would take if the Deadlights mutated her.

Heh heh, trust me. I'm sure with the few small hints I gave through out the arc, I'm sure you can guess what the lights intend target.

Thanks for writing Black cross0.

Well with that done I can't wait to start on the next arc. Till then please Fav and Fol the story. Leave a comment or question down bellow and I will gladly answer it. Till then, this is Wombag1786 signing off.

In a café somewhere in Huston Texas, two days later

The scene opens on a small café in the busy streets of Huston. There an old Cowboy sat there sipping ginseng tea. He was waiting for someone for awhile now. After a few moments he'd check his watch before looking around. After a few moments he'd let out a small sigh and was about to leave when he heard someone familiar calling him out.

"Hola extraña." Fausta called out as she walked on over with Weiss. Much to the old cowboys shock, the two looked like they went through hell. Fausta with a sling over her arm, and bandages over her face. Weiss, missing her prosthetic and her face covered in band aids and bandages.

"Dear lord. The hell happen to you two? You look like you've went toe to toe with a grizzly bear." The old cowboy remarks.

"Trust me Mr. Mason. I'd wish it was a bear." Weiss said as she sat down at the table.

"We… were in Huntsville." Fausta explains.

"My lord, you were?" The old cowboy asked with great interest. "What happened out there? From what I understand nobody but a visiting cop survived the unexpected hurricane."

"Hurricanes? Pft, hardly. There was… well remember that Birth Mark man, Mr. Sinclair? Well it was one of those Tiempos extraños." Fausta said as she pulls a cigarette from her vest pocket.

"Oh, well tell me more about it. I can keep a tight lip about it." The cowboy said as he pulls out a match and lit the cigarette.

"Well, from what I managed to gather, it was a living atomic structure that despite all laws on Ionizing subatomic particles it managed to prevent itself from fracturing while releasing it's unstable particles to a selective effect on those with in region. But when these clusters form together they make a bizarre light that does not exist on any color spectrums both electrical or celestial spans." Weiss explains lengthy causing the cowboy to tilt his head.

"… what?" The old cowboy asked.

"We were attacked by colors." Fausta explained simply.

"Oh… um, sorry what?" The cowboy asked still unsure what the two were talking about.

With a sigh, Weiss with a lot of help from Fausta, explained the bizarre events that happened the night before. The mysterious Marsh woman, how she disappeared with no trace shortly after the confrontation in the dinner, or after. Officially it was a freak hurricane that appeared over night. The towns folks were either sucked away, or burned in a fire that was started by it. Weiss and Fausta, rather wishing to avoid detailing the night, slipped out of the area before any G-men could snatch them. Sheriff Gram was found and currently is being question by the agent's god know where. As the two talked with Fausta's old cattle rustling friend, the view pulls back. Across the street from the three someone was watching. It was Ms. Marsh.

She hid herself behind an old poncho she stole. Staring intensely at Weiss she pulls something out of her poncho. It looked like a strange clay and straw doll of sorts. Wrapped around it was a piece of Weiss long hair. She begins chanting something, unhuman before pulling out a small knife. She was just about to puncture the doll when two set's of hands stopped her.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Children really shouldn't play with knifes." A man dressed in a blue pinstripe suit scolds as the man next to him, dressed in a similar attire excluding the yellow bowtie.

The woman hisses at them as she tried to pry the knife back, but the one with the purple tie swatted her across the face, sending her to the ground.

She lets out a small hiss, "Don't you dare touch me you half chinks. One word from me and half the city will be out to lynch you."

"And one word from us and you wouldn't be able to recall a think." The man in the golden bowtie remarks.

"That is, if we don't snap you out of existence." The one in the purple tie remarks with a smug smile.

"Now, Now brother. We just got back from Osaka. I'd like to have the eastern jazz melody play in my head for at least another hour or so." The one in the yellow bow tie remarks.

"(Sigh) Alright brother. But what should we do with the half breed here?" The purple tie ask before turning to Ms. Marsh who looked at the two with cation and a bit of a shock.

"Well… I guess we should just, let her go. With a warning." The other answers, without taking his eye of Ms. Marsh. He then address her. "Ms. Marsh, while we don't make it our business to intervene on the behest of strangers may I recommend not doing so on our own people."

"What are you two chinks even talking about?" Ms. Marsh asked, confused by their conversation. "Do you have any idea who I am?"

"We do Ms. Marsh. And while your fangs may not be present, we know fully well what your capable of. But that won't help you." The one in the yellow Bowtie warned.

"Much less what your Father can do." The Purple tie man added.

"My father never worked with you before. He could barely stand poor people, let alone mongrels like you." Ms. Marsh hissed in defiant.

"My brother, wasn't referring to your actual father. Rather, more particular, the Father. Dagon." The Man in the golden bowtie corrected.

"Dagon, how do you know tha…" It then suddenly clicked in her mind, who these two are. Her snobbish attitude suddenly changed drastically. No longer angered, her expression was that of great horror and fear. "… Y-You."

"Yes my dear. Us." The one in the golden bowtie remarks as he waved his hand. Like a magician a quickly flip of it and the doll that was in Ms. Marshes hand was now in his. The one with the purple tie then leans down and faces her. With a smug smile he mutters a single word.

"Boo."

With that word, Ms. Marsh quickly raced off down the alleyway like a bat out of hell. Earning a small chuckle from the man with the purple tie. His brother however was not amused.

"Come now Krad must you torment the Innsmouther?" The one with the Yellow bowtie asked.

"Heh, heh, come now brother. You have your hobbies and I have mine." The Purple tie brother remarks with a shrug.

As he chuckled, the yellow bowtie notices Weiss, Fausta, and her friend getting up to head somewhere. He watches as they leave, giving a small smile. Over with Weiss she couldn't help but feel like she was being watched. She looked over to see the two when a bus suddenly passes by the two brothers. As the buss passes by they disappeared from their spot. She looked around before blinking twice. She looked around before shrugging. As she heads down the street, the view goes dark before a sudden burst of light fills the screen.

Paris France, Bastille Day, 1924.

The scene lights up with magnificent display of fireworks over the Eifel tower. Today marks the 135th aniversery of the storming of the Bastille. A day when the peasants of France overthrew there king and begin the revolution that gave way to Emperor Napoleon. The day was filled with excitement as parades and parties carried over into the night before ending in a spectacular barrage of fireworks. Though it seems not all are enjoying the celebration of French unity. The view pulls down to a man running down the deserted streets. He was a lengthy fella, balding, with a look of Egyptian decent. He was bleeding heavily from his arm and was trying his hardest to reload a Webby revolver. However his hands were shaking horrible, and his right arm was bleeding profusely. As he struggles a loud clicking noise is heard in the far distance causing him to stop in his track. He looked over his shoulder with wide eyes.

Something was out there. In the dark. And it won't show itself in the light. After a few seconds of silence the man managed to reload his revolver before closing it. Just as he did, a street light smashes to pieces unexpectedly. Causing the man to quickly spin to it and fire off a shot. The bullet didn't hit anything. He scanned the area back and forth looking for whatever did that when suddenly another light bulb breaks loudly. He turns a full 180, and pointed his revolver wildly. Looking for whatever smashed the street light. He didn't spot anything like before, except the growing darkness. That's when all lights nearby begin to pop like balloons. One by one, till darkness slowly envelopes the area. The man staggers back in panic, going to the side of the bridge over the Seine.

"S-Stay back!" The man screams out in an English accent. "I know you're out there!"

As he waved his revolver about, he had failed to notice the shadows that flicker behind him. As he looks around in the darkness, a shadow over fell him. With a cold chill running down his spine he slowly turns to see the shadow creature right behind him. Before he could even get a shot, a monstrous set of fangs dove down on him before dragging him over the bridge into the cold waters below.

The view pulls down into the river. As blood floats up, a small garment seeps to the surface as well. A white military glove that was a tad bit short for the man. The garment then begins floating down the river, with something rather large following it. Something, massive, unstoppable, and above all else. Hungry.

Play Lullaby of Woe by Ashley Serena

The view goes dark before opening up on a comic book falling onto of the others. The front art depicts Nora and an unknown man of African descent racing through the sewers of Paris as a unknown quagmire chases after the two. On the side were a few character bubbles and the title sequence of this adventure in the city of lights.
