February 6th 1925, a day from Paris
3rd pov
Opening up to the dinning car, Nora struggled to catch her breath as that blasted piece of thin flesh nearly choked her out. Aura can do a lot of things but not stop one from being asphyxiate. As she massages her throat before asking, "Who (Gasp) the (Gasp) hell (Gasp) are (Gasp) you?"
"People call me FEB lass." The old man said as he removes the tight blazer. Taking one of the khanjar blades and cutting some much-needed holes. "I'm working with that Nance Churchill for SIS."
"Secret Intelligence Service? Um no offense but you seem, a bit hefty for a spy." Oliver said with a raised eye brow.
"And you look a bit boyish to be a cunt." FEB said causing narrow her brow in anger she was about to make him eat his words when he spoke first.
"Sorry, force of habit. Yeah, I wasn't exactly recruited more like pressed gang by your lass with the moggy ears." FEB halfheartedly apologies. Nora gave a strange look before realizing who he was referring to.
"Blake, but I thought she died." Nora said.
"Nah, one of these Turk cunt's wore here foreskin like a mask." FEB said as he motions with the knife on his arm. "She's still alive and trying to get as many passengers off. Speaking of."
He then walks back and grabs ahold of Jack, still shaking from the agony of having his lips forced open. FEB then said, "We need to get everyone to the back. Those daft cunts are going to do something that will put every sorry son of ah bitch in grave danger."
Just almost as if he had jinxed himself, the train jolted with ten times the speed. The force of a 123MPH locomotive jumping to 1230MPH sent the four flying back. Luckily no one hit anything to hard but as they get to their feet, they had difficulty adjusted to the sudden shift in speed. As they do FEB said, "Recon that will be the grave danger."
"Ugh, we'll get to Paris faster?" Nora asked as she rubbed her sore head that she hit fairly hard upon her fall.
"More like hit it by this trajectory." Oliver comments as he struggles to get back into his wheel chair. "Or the entire train derails from the weight."
The two, Nora and FEB looked at one another before non-verbally agreeing. All passengers must get off this train, immediately. Racing to their feet they head to Second class. Only for Oliver to stop the two. "Wait, what about my family?"
"The young lass is rounding up all passengers in first. I'm sure she's alright." Feb said with a shrug.
Five minutes earlier Outside the Train.
The scene then cuts to a few minutes earlier. Where Blake, Jobert, and his Wife Audrey. Are clinging on to the side of the fast-moving train. Suddenly the train burst forward with great speed. The speed threw the three upward. They would have rolled over the top had not Blake used Gambol shroud to hook her to the roof. As she held on painfully with her right arm, and holding onto Jobert's injured arm tightly with her left. His feet kicked up in the air as he struggles not to be blown away while holding on his wife with his non injured hand. As Blake struggles, she finally sets the two down and the latched onto the roof. However, Audrey who was floating like a kite not a few moments ago saw something, in the front of the train.
"Jobert! Qu'est-ce que c'est que ça!" (Jobert! What in Gods name is that!) Audrey screams as she points to the front of the train.
Jobert squints his eyes as dust and wind hit his face like a shotgun. He struggled for a few moments before spotting something moving in the distance. Tentacles? Fleshy tentacles moving about like snakes? He couldn't get a good glimpse as the tendrils disappeared under a flat top tunnel.
"Oh, god, we need to get off the train!" Jobert shouted to Blake.
Seeing the tunnel incoming, Blake looked around before spotting a sky light. Using her blade, she cut it open before pushing the two in, barley getting in before being crushed by the tunnel. The two landed on someone, that being a very ill spoken Scotsman who was helping as many as he can into second coach when two French parents landed on him.
"Oy, get the fuck off me!" FEB shout in irritation as his back nearly gives out from holding up the two, only for Blake to hop off his head with cat like reflexes. As she picks herself up, she was suddenly tackled by Nora.
"BLAKE!" Nora shouted as she hugs her. After giving friendship hug of death, she quickly let's go and gets into a defense stance. "You are… the real Blake-y?"
Blake after a moment to catch her breath nods. Confuse, Nora watches as she pulls out a scroll with the words, 'It's me. No I can't speak I lost my tongue.'
" . . .Heysodidyourememberthatstrangecreepythingatthatsnowtemple?IthinkIranintoit' !Canyoubelievethatasshole?Oh,howhasitbeen?Ihaven' ,joinedthearmy, ?Didyoujoinachurch?IsthatwhoChurchillis?Orareyouaspyforagroupofsissies?Doesn'tsoundrightbutwhoamItojudge?" Nora shouted at a near mile, bombarding poor Blake with questions. As she does FEB comments on her.
"She… got quite a mouth on her. Faster than a connie in season." FEB remarks as he rubs his back. "Guess I should be glad that the lass I got stuck with wasn't much a talker even before losing the tongue. Speaking of, how you meet her?"
"Egypt, December 22. You?" Jobert remarks.
"Scotland half a year ago. Was at a funeral that went terribly wrong." FEB answers.
"Hmm, Hey English girl! I'm glad you found your friend but now is not the time for a reunion." Jobert remarks earning Nora's attention.
"Oh, right." Nora said as she pulls away from an uncomfortable Blake. "Now, we have everyone let's go to second couch and unhook this train. She then wandered down the wrong way to which Oliver reminder her that second class was in the other direction.
The six moved everyone who was left to the back now that it was finished Nora got to work removing the grates that held the train. But as she was about to smash it, someone grabs ahold of Oliver. It being Soucard.
"Leaving so soon?" Soucard asked with a khanjar to his throat. "We haven't even reached the end of the line. Be a shame to finish it now, don't we."
Blake acting quick shoots the knife out of his hand to which Nora leapt forward in rage that someone dared to hold a knife to Oliver only for the skin beneath his clothes to swat her back, crashing into FEB as they fell into the next car.
"That wasn't very civilized of you." Soucard said as the skin returned to his flesh.
"Vous bâtarde!" (You bastard!) Jobert snapped as he pulls out his pistol. Firing multiple shots dead on at Soucard. However his skin once more leapt formed his body to shield him. As it does, more of his cult members raced in armed with khanjar.
They rushed forwards towards the three. Jobert got in front of his wife and take aim with his pistol. Firing multiple shots with great acracy. Meanwhile Blake fought with her weapon in cleaver mode. Deflecting the blades blows with cat like reflexes. The cultist however seemed to have their own advantages. Primarily their skin. It acted as a serpent on command, deflecting blows and acting as second appendages to stab and move about. Jobert struggled to keep his wife out of harm's way. As he reloads his pistol Soucard grabs ahold of him by the neck.
"Now, I believe this is your next stop." Soucard said as he held Jobert by the neck. Jobert then pistol whips Soucard, cutting enough of the skin away to reveal a young man of English and Turkish heritage underneath. Makryat. All this time in plain sight. With a smile he tosses Jobert into second class. He crash lands onto FEB and Nora. The last thing he saw with a smug glance as he used his skin like a blade. Cutting the metallic line that held the two trains together.
"No, no, no, no, no, no!" Jobert shouts as he races forward but stopped at the edge.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck! Cunt be up his own cunt to do this to me!" FEB Shout's in frustration as he finally gets to his feet only to watch the other train get farther and farther away with Blake, and Jobert's family onboard.
"My family. I must get to them." Jobert said as he looks in vain for a way to reach them. That's when he notices Nora taking a few steps back. She then pulls out her Magnahild gripping it tightly. Jobert suddenly gets flashbacks of Egypt as Nora then takes off sprinting towards the two. "Wait, wait, wait!"
But it was too late, and before FEB could even react Nora football tacked the two off the train. In midair she activated her weapons hammer feature. Blasting them down the tracks as the two older men screamed in panic. Back on the other half, Blake along with Audrey raced forward through the kitchen. She carried her son in hands as Blake held the cultist back as long as she could. Once inside, Blake blocked the door with a cabinet. Now in a secure room, Blake takes a moment to write something down on her Scroll.
Play: You wanted this, by Just a friendly Crusader; for added suspense
"Do either of you speak English? My scroll doesn't do French and I can't write it." Blake wrote before presenting.
"Oui. I can. Um, Blake was it? What are those people?" Oliver asked in fright from the sight of seeing another man in the skin of another like it were clothes.
"Cultist. I'd believe they are planning something with the royal family." Blake wrote before showing him.
"Alright… so what do we do?" Oliver asked. Blake gave a crooked stare Before she could write that she is going to get them out before it was too late. However, she suddenly heard a scream and the two turn to see Audrey.
She looked for something to use while this woman and her son spoke in English, only to find the train's metal converted. Its metallic shell rendered as nothing more than blacken pulsing flesh. Filled with welts, teeth, and eyes. The sight of seeing the train staring back at her was a bit much for her and she screamed. Oliver turned and called out to his mother while Blake rushed to her side. Pulling her back from the horror.
"Qu'est-ce que c'est que cette… abomination?!" (What in gods holy name is that… abomination!) Audrey asked in panic as the eyes stared back at her.
"Je... je... je... je... je ne sais pas." (I... I... I... I... I, don't know.) Oliver said to his mother before turning to Blake. "How is this even physically possible?"
Blake couldn't give an answer. She wasn't sure what was exactly sure herself as most of these things don't even exist on Remnant… that thought actual reminder her of Professor Port's class on Grimm. Geist. They would possess something, forming an object or body. Perhaps this entity was very much the same.
"I don't know what it is. But perhaps if destroy whatever is causing this, we can stop this train." Blake wrote before presenting the Scroll to Oliver.
Oliver read the line before telling his panicked mother what the silent lady told them on her strange devise. Her reaction was as expected. "T'es en colère?! Nous ne savons pas ce qu'est cette substance, ni si nous pouvons traverser en toute sécurité!" (Are you mad?! We don't know what this substance is, or if it's safe for us to cross!)
Before Blake could reply, there attention turned to the kitchen door. Something was breaking it down. The cracks in the door were being ravaged by flat claw like skin. Despite having no bones or muscle it tore away at the door with vigor and determination. Blake turned to Audrey and gave a look that screams "Like we have a choice." Giving a gulp, Audrey picks up her son and slowly moved through the fleshy coridoors with Blake following along. All the while the door was being chipped away, piece of by piece till Makryat calmly walked in. He see's the three moving as if they were walking through thick mud of flesh and gore. Unphased by the sight he grabs his mouth. Tearing off his Soucard disguise as well as his own flesh before throwing his entire jaw and mouth skin. The two then begin flapping like wings, separating in two before flying down the corridors towards the three.
Racing through the flesh was like walking through ancle deep mud. The substance stuck to their skin like glue. The longer they stayed in the fleshy substance the sticker it would become. Yet their shoes and clothes were not affected. It was as if the substance was trying to tear their skin from their bodies. As they trudge through the fleshy mirk, Oliver notices the two flying mouths as well as the number of cultists. All of whom walked on the flesh as if it were on solid ground. Oliver could see from his elevated height that the cultist had the skin from their feet removed allowing for solid muscle to push themselves forward in sprint.
"Madam Blake! There following us!" Oliver shrieks as one of the face skins bombed down towards him. Acting almost on instinct Blake threw Gambol shroud, impaling the wretched thing before she tugged on the bow. It squirmed for a few moments before Blake converts her weapon into katana mode. Killing it.
Turning to the cultist with Katana in hand. She motions for them to continue on without her. While Oliver was hesitant to leave her Audrey was not. She was not sure what devils is this fleshy tar nor did she wish to know of black sorcery they use to bring it. All she know is if they survive she will most certain drain the entire surplus of wine in the cellar as the horror alone shakes the soul. As the two race towards the front of the Locomotive, Blake tiptoed to keep herself from sticking as the cultist charge at her in full speed. The first one goes to slash at her with khanjar however the moment he did it passed through her. Blake used her Semblance to leap upward, using the cultist head to keep herself out of the tar. As she used the momentum push herself forward, she did not forget to relieve the cultist of his head.
The cultist were at fit human physical ability, but none could compare to Aura. They struggled to slash at her with their occult Khanjar. But Blake jumped around them. She held nothing back since Oliver and Audrey were safe from them, she did not had to defend them. The cultist begins falling one by one as she used them as platforms. She slit the last one throat before leaping forward to deal with the pestering fanged lips when something grabbed her throat midair. She was pulled down before delivering a powerful right hook.
It was Makryat. Holding her by the throat as the skin slithers off his arm wrapping around Blakes throat. This not only strengthened his grip but locked her in place. With a skinless mouth he taunts her. "Impressive work for a heretic. But at last, your trickery like the bodies of old who impeded the will of the skinless one. Shall withered away to the dust from whence they spawn."
He begins tightening his grip on Blakes throat causing her to lean her head back. The hat that remained on her head fell off revealing her Faunas ears. This caught Makryat who honestly didn't expected that the pesky SIS agent had such features. In that moment of distraction Blake pointed Gambol shroud at his head. She fired the entire clip of 15 dusted infused rounds. As her gun locks open she continues to pull the trigger to a horrifying clicking noise. The gun was empty but the bullets were on the ground. Makryat was standing unharmed and looking annoyed if anything else.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk… That wasn't very nice, Küçük kedi." Makryat said with a tsk. He then goes to grab Blakes scalp. When something caused him to drop her. As Blake struggled to catch her breath, she see's a small bruise on his head as if a rock hit him. Feeling this, he immediately became enraged. Speaking Turkish, he grabs Blake by her hair as the scene cuts away.
Opening up in the locomotive, the entire thing was mostly made of bone rather than the fleshy tar. Looking around for something not weird or slimy to use, she found a large bone made shovel for what she assumed to be for throwing coal into the fire. Using that to barricade the door she gave it a solid kick to make sure it was locked. In turn the door hissed at her which made her flinch back in fright.
"Quelle folie de Lewis Carroll ne va pas avec cet endroit?!" (What Lewis Carroll madness is wrong with this place?!) Audrey said in a panic. As she regain some of her composure she felt her son on her leg.
"Mère, nous devons l'aider!" (Mother, we have to help her!) Oliver pleads. "On ne peut pas la laisser repousser tous ces crétins!" (We can't just leave her to fend off all those goons!)
"Non! Nous sommes incapables de repousser ces… monstres. Beaucoup moins protéger le muet." (No! We are unable to fend off those… monsters. Much less protect the mute.) Audrey snapped in mixture of maternal protection and fright. But she quickly reals herself back upon seeing her son's face. "Désolé, mais nous nous mettrions probablement en travers de son chemin. Le mieux que nous puissions faire est de trouver un moyen d'arrêter ce satané train." (Sorry, but we would likely get in her way. Best we can do is find a way to stop this damned train.)
Oliver opens his mouth to argue but he knows his mother was right. He just adjusts himself and looked around for a way to stop the train. As he looks around, he couldn't help but notice the strange glow. Despite there being no flames, it was as if there was an open flame. Looking at where the light radiates the most he saw what was a furnace turned into a wall of flesh, bone, and sinew. Yet there was a glow as if there was a fire. Looking around he spotted a piece of bone and tossed it at the wall only for it to open up like a mouth opening for a tossed grape. Inside he could see that fowl thing. It was a statue of strange dark greenish tinge. Runes and hieroglyphs carved into the body that it almost looked like muscle and tendon. The piece of bone Oliver had tossed hit the head of the statue within the gaping maw of the engine. As it fell into the flame the train for the briefest of moments the train reverted to it's sane version of itself.
"Mère, je pense que c'est ce qui affecte le train ! Peut-être que si nous pouvons le détruire, le train reviendrait à sa forme originale." (Mother, I think that's what is affecting the train! Maybe if we can destroy it the train would revert back to it's original form.) Oliver pointed out.
Having noticed the strange blink Audrey decided to test her son's theory. She grabbed another bone made shovel and approached the furnace. It opens it's jaw again revealing the statue hanging over a fiery void. She was a bit hesitant as the statue was a little further in than expected. Needing to put her arm inside she was about to hit the statue when suddenly the door broke down with a loud crash. Frightened she dropped the bone shovel as she turns to the figure who walked in.
"How dare you touch the Sedefkar Simulacrum you uncleansed infidel!" Makyat screams in rage as he drags Blake by her hair into the room. She struggled to get out of iron clad hold on her head.
After a few moments Oliver quickly intervenes by slashing at her hair with the sharpest piece of bone he could find. It was an unclean and painful cut but none the less freed Blake. Seeing this, Makryat goes to cut Oliver with his skin only for Blake to use her semblance. She pulled Oliver away in mear moments leaving behind a fire dust copy of she and him behind to burn. Oliver and Audrey blinked a few moments as they had no idea what happened but it just did. Blake then slides Oliver to his mother before tossing him her Scroll. It saying, "Whatever you're doing, do it again!"
"Ugh, neat trick. I think you earn the wrath of our holy relic." Makryat said as he pats down the flames that lit his sleeves without much care. He then reaches behind his back and pulled out an all to familiar blade. The same one that cut through Blake's aura. After getting into a defensive stance he remarks, "I will go for your throat Küçük kedi. I want to keep that face in pristine order to mount on my wall."
Blake flinched a bit at the sight of that blade, but regain her composure. She didn't need to beat him just hold him off long enough for the two to do whatever they did. After a few moments of staring, Makryat charged towards Blake and begins slashing at her with the blade. Blake remembering the pain from the last time she was sliced by that accursed blade, took extra care not to let it touch her skin again. There blades clash as Makyat tried to rush to the mother and son but only to be pulled back by Blake. Blake got multiple hit's on Makryat but no matter how many times she strikes him in the most fatal of places he did not fall. Getting annoyed by being stabbed he finally turns his attention to Blake.
"For a pathetic heathen you are really beginning to piss me OFF!" Makryat screams in rage as he tears the torn clothes from his torso. He then goes in to strike Blake when he falls to the ground with a twisted leg.
He howlers in agony much to Blakes confusions till she notices the whole of the train reverting in and out of the strange form. Looking behind her she sees Oliver and Audrey struggling to pulls out the statue. Seems every time they harm it, Makryat feels the pain. As he gets up, Blake quickly realizing the correlation of injury between him and the statue begins acting quick. She fired a few shots at the statue causing the mad Turk to fall over in agony as his stolen eye pops out of his skull. She fired off a few shots inflecting ungodly pain on him that tore his body into bloody chunks. Yet the statue remains intact. As she goes to reload, Makryat skin explodes from his body, with multiple veins and sinew holding onto it like a puppet. The skin wrapped its horrific tendrils around the three throwing them around as his one eye bleeds profusely. The skin wrapped around their bodies like snakes as it begins to squeeze. As their lives were about to flash before their eyes and their bodies broken under the strain, the roof of the train crumbles.
"HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE'SSSSSSSSSSSSS, NORA!" Nora shouts standing on a pile of Bone and flesh. Jobert and FEB no longer in her arms but holding onto her in terror, with FEB still screaming. After a few awkward moments of an old man screaming in terror did she spoke: "You can let go of me."
With a shake the two old men fell to the ground, looking a little greyer in the hair. After a few moments of pulling themselves together did Jobert spot his family and quickly race over to them, While FEB goes to check on Blake.
"Your ginger nut… is nuttier than a fucking nut." FEB said in a trembling state as he helps Blake up. "Never leave me alone with that girl again. Cunt help me I'll turn to the big twat upstairs if it means she keeps a distance of a cock in a purl!"
Blake who was recovering from the near crushing effect of that skin, just gave a sarcastic look. Meanwhile back with Jobert, he hugged his family tightly. But not too tightly. After having his eyes flashing before his eye for the second time thanks to Nora. Seeing his family once more in danger. He was relieved that they are still alive.
"Mon bien-aimé, mon fils. Que Dieu vous bénisse, vous allez bien." (My beloved, my son. God bless you two are alright.) Jobert said as he hugs them.
"Papa, (Cough, cough) Pouvons-nous (Cough, cough) rentrer à la maison? Je pense que j'en ai eu (Cough, cough) assez de vacances." (Papa, (Cough, cough) Can we (Cough, cough) go home? I think I had (Cough, cough) enough of a vacation.) Oliver struggled to say in his state of agony.
"Heh, oui. Je pense que nous passerons les prochaines vacances à la maison." (Heh, yes. I think we'll spend the next vacation at home.)
"Oui, ainsi qu'une explication. Sur qui est exactement cet enfant que tu as laissé entrer dans notre maison." (Yes, as well as an explanation. On who exactly is this child you let into our home.) Audrey stated as she carefully pulled herself at her loving husbands arms. Curious, Jobert's brow raises only for her to look over at Blake. Her exposed Faunas ears gave away that she knows or enough to figure somethings out.
"(Sigh) Oui Cheri. Je suppose que je ne peux pas garder secret le passé de l'enfant anglais pour toujours." ((Sigh) Yes dear. I suppose I can't keep the English child's past a secret forever.) Jobert said begrudgingly.
As this was going on Nora looked around at the queer and insidious interior of this fleshy locomotive. As she looks around, she finally noticed something and asked. "Hey guys, where's that creep who was chasing you guys?"
Just then fleshy rubble beneath her feet burst as Makryat appears in the guise of a half torso monstrosity. The sheer size was as tall as an evergreen and as wide as the locomotive itself. The size was to much for the locomotive and it's walls and roof broke free leaving only a hollow fleshy bone structure. Makryat let's out a horrific roar in rage As he throws his fist down Nora returns the courtesy of the surprise by firing a few grenades at him. The explosion sent him reeling back in agony.
"Oh, there you are ugly! Let's continue where we last left off!" Nora said as she transforms her weapon back into war hammer mode.
She let's out a war like scream as she rushes towards the abomination of flesh that Makryat had become. As they fought, Blake slowly pulled herself to her feet only to notice something. Off in the distance the sun had begone to rise, with Paris in distance. Realizing how much time they have before the train crashes into Paris Gare de l'Est. She turned to Oliver and frantically pointed to Paris before rushing to help Nora. Confused Oliver looked over only to see Paris. Realizing what will happen if they continue at this speed he quickly pulls himself to the furnace.
"Papa, il faut sortir cette statue de la fournaise!" (Dad, we have to get this statue out of the furnace!) Oliver shouts as he reaches inside to grab the statue. His mother rushes over and helps before Jobert joins him. The three struggled for a few moments before Jobert calls out to FEB.
"Scotsman! Help us before we crash!" Jobert shouts to FEB.
"Fuckin motherless. Move aside froggy!" FEB shouted as he presses his fat body between Jobert and his son.
As the four struggled to remove the statue from the mostly intact furnace, Blake and Nora fought against the fleshy abomination Makryat. The combat could best be described like flies or mosquitos around an annoyed man. Nothing they did impacted Makryat but it brought his attention away from the four. He swatted violently as Nora and Blake flew around him using their weapons. No matter how hard he tried they just won't hold still. Getting annoyed he moved his hands around in a frenzy nearly swatting Nora but was pulled away by Blake before He could swat her. However, in doing so Blake was swatted by Makryat who sent her flying down. She rolled violently towards the four to which Makryat saw that they had nearly removed the statue. He lets out a roar of anger and was about to crush them when the statue was finally removed.
With it the train jolted causing the entire train to derail. The five were thrown back. As time slowed down for them. Blake watches on as Jobert struggles to grab ahold of his son and wife with one arm. FEB getting hit in the head by every pot and pan in the kitchen cart. As Blake was about to pass through the first class something grabbed her leg. Was it not for her aura her leg would have jolted from her free from it's socket. As she dangles, she looked up to see Nora, holding her as the train crashes.
The scene goes black for just a few moments before opening on Blake. She laid motionless for a few moments before stirring. She slowly arose as she looked around. The Train had reverted back to normal and they only crashed outside the city limits of Paris. As she looked around, she heard the sound of metal moving. Turning around she sees out of the rubble popped out Nora.
"Ugh… that was not as fun as the movies make it out to be." Nora said as she rubs her head only to realize her mask is gone. Blake could see the horrific scar that she hid under her mask. The sight of it alone was enough to make Blake silently gasp. Nora seeing her reaction realize that her mask was gone and quickly covers her face. "Um, just a moment."
She turns around before she takes her sleeve and rips it from her sleeve. Wrapping it around her face before turning to Blake, "Sorry you had to see that. Not exactly the face of your old pa Nora huh."
Blake goes for her Scroll only to realize she had lost it. Looking around for Oliver she used her adapted faunas hearing to find him only to hear his screams. Blake quickly motions for Nora to follow as she ran towards his screaming. After traversing the wreckage of the train, the two come upon Oliver, being held by a naked and severely injured Makryat.
"Let Oli go you creep!" Nora shouts as she points Magnhild. However, Makryat had quickly put the accursed blade to the boy's throat.
"Don't, I can slit his throat long before you fire one of your toy rockets at me!" Makryat snaps as he holds the knife closely to the young boys throat. As the three stood off, Jobert and Audrey fell out. They had survived the crash, not entirely in one piece but not worse for wear.
"Olivier! Laisse mon fils partir, espèce de sadique!" (Oliver! Let my son go, you sadist!) Audrey shouted as she was held up by her husband.
"Shut it! Shut IT!" Do you know how long it took to retrieve the Sedefkar Simulacrum as well as the Mims Sahis! Years! Years of planning, set back by you, you, heretics! A simple family vacation! No, altaw'am allaena put you upon that train! They put you in the way of the Derisiz olan will."
"I have no idea what you're talking about. All I did was win a dumb lottery in Italy!" Nora shouts back as she points Magnahild at him.
"A dumb… lottery… Heh, hehe, heh, hehe, hehe, heh! Are you kidding me! No nothing is ever unrelated. They always interfere but their actions have done nothing. A setback, one that I will take great pleasure in undoing, Heh heh ha ha ahahahahh a haha a ah ahahah ahah aa haha hah!" Makryat monologued before laughing manically. He had lost it entirely as he laughed uncontrollably.
Suddenly a loud crash can be heard over his laughter. The statue he referred to as the Sedefkar Simulacrum fell right in front of him, smashing into pieces. Makryat's laughter abruptly stopped as he looked down at the smashed statue. He looks up to the four and said silently, "Bok." Before exploding into multiple meaty chunks.
"Whoops, sorry. Didn't see you down there… you mad cunt worshiping twat!" FEB shouted from ontop of a rubble pile. He slides down before walking to the blood chunks. Spitting on the chunkiest of pieces before turning to the group. "What?! I save your kid and there's no thanks? Fucking twats."
"(Sigh) thank you. Just… been a long day." Jobert said as he pawns his wife over to Blake who helped her over to her son.
"Yeah… think I know how you feel." FEB said as he sit's down.
With Makryat dead for good the six finally had a moment to relax. Jobert comforted his family, FEB had found a bottle of expensive gin that survived the crash, and Nora sat along with Blake. Discussing about how they came to be on that train. Before it could go any further then that the all to familiar sound of Police sirens can be heard.
"(Sigh) Fucking bobbies." FEB said as he throws the empty bottle of gin over his head. "Come on lass we should get going now."
"Aw what!? But we had finally had a moment to talk." Nora complains to which Blake responded with the Scroll Oliver gave back to her.
"I'm sorry. But we aren't supposed to be in France. Once things cool down, I'll come visit. Where you live?" Blake wrote before showing Nora.
"Oh, on the outer edge of the 15th arrondissement. Should be easy to spot, look for the house that has the most noise complaints." Nora explains before remembering something. "Oh you'll probably need this."
She then grabs ahold of her cloche hat. It didn't have the mask but it could help hide Blake's Faunas features. She gives a nod of appreciation. Before leaving however she felt something underfoot. It was the strange knife that Makryat used. There was something off about it, but she suppose the scientist under Churchill could figure out better then she could now. So she picks it up and pockets the strange lizard claw like blade and followed FEB away from the sirens into the sunrise. Not knowing that a piece of Makryat skin was slowly following after them as the scene cuts to black.
Play, The passenger by Alison Mosshart
The scene opens up on a dark tunnel as a guitar strum begins, followed by a organ the orient then races by. As the train pass the scene follows as the song begins.
I am a passenger
And I ride, and I ride
I ride through the city's backsides
I see the stars come out of the sky
Yeah, they're bright in a hollow sky
You know it looks so good tonight
I am the passenger
I stay under glass
I look through my window so bright
I see the stars come out tonight
I see the bright and hollow sky
Over the city's ripped back sky
And everything looks good tonight
As the song picks up the scene pulls into the train. It was completely deserted and filled with fog. As it passes through, one could not help but feel that something was in there with them. Signs of serpent like bodies and the flapping of skin moving about that would put a sane man on edge. Suddenly a flap of skin appeared before the screen. It lets out a horrific yelp before being slashed in half by Gambol shroud. As it's being torn apart, the few droplets of blood and skin form letters that said.
(Louise Brooks as Blake.)
Singin' la la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la, la la
Pulling away the scene follow Gambol Shroud into the kitchen car. Seems most of the steam is coming from multiple pots that were boiling. However on the table is a gruesome scene of blood, and flesh of unknown and ghastly origins on the cutting table.
Get into the car
We'll be the passenger
We'll ride through the city tonight
See the city's ripped backsides
We'll see the bright and hollow sky
We'll see the stars that shine so bright
Oh, stars made for us tonight
Pulling over, to a pot a few fingers begin to foam out. Horrifically forming letters that seemed to be pointing towards a bottle of strong alcohol. The words spelling;
(Lionel Barryman as FEB)
Oh, the passenger
How, how he rides
Oh, the passenger
He rides and he rides
He looks through his window
What does he see?
He sees the silent hollow sky
He sees the stars come out tonight
He sees the city's ripped backsides
He sees the winding ocean drive
And everything was made for you and me
All of it was made for you and me
'Cause it just belongs to you and me
So let's take a ride and see what's mine
Suddenly something pulls back the view back into the dinning car. In the seats were several bones of dead passengers since. Each one of different stages of decay. The oldest being sun bleach bones dressed as Roman legionaries and the recent body dressed in modern attire. Passing through the banquet of the deceased, the view pulls onto a group of three, dressed in Victorian appearance with what seems to be rigor mortis settling in. Words appear on the fogged window that spelled;
(Arthur Lake as Oliver Carron)
(Renée Adorée as Audra Carron)
(Marcel Dalio as Jobert Carron)
Singin' la la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la, la la
Just then Nora's hammer sent flying through the window crashing and sending not only the bodies to the ground but the view as well pinning the reader to the ground by the weight alone. After a few moments came a terrible tearing noise as something large was ripping the roof of the car off.
Oh, the passenger
He rides and he rides
He sees things from under glass
He looks through his window's eye
He sees the things that he knows are his
He sees the bright and hollow sky
He sees the city asleep at night
He sees the stars are out tonight
And all of it is yours and mine
And all of it is yours and mine
So let's ride and ride and ride and ride
Once the roof of the car was removed a flayed arm grabs ahold of Nora's Magnhild and the reader. Pulling the two the readers comes face to face with the unholy one, The Flayed man. It stares on at the reader with evil and all knowing eyes. With a cruel smile he tosses both reader and hammer to the front of the tracks. While falling in slow motion, words appeared that said;
(Clara Bow as Nora Valkyrie)
As the song was coming to an end, Magnhild and the reader lands on the tracks. Turing around, the last thing shown was the train running over Nora's hammer and the reader as the scene cut's to black. The last thing heard was the song's final lines;
Singin' la la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la, la la
Singin' la la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la, la la

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE'SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Henri!
What an exhilarating ending to the Arc. Shame that my beloved train will be out of commission for awhile. But I suppose that's what he paid for. Speaking of, HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE'SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Wombag.
With that, Wombag then shuffles toward the stage. His eye's were baggie with exhaustion. His once crisp suit was as raggedy as he was. He sat down in the directors chair with a huff.
"Oh, dear. Monsieur Wombag are you alright?" Henri asked.
"Fan freaking tastic. This arc has set me back by years, specially that last scene where we blew up the front half of the train… I'm 100-Mil in the hole with that alone." Wombag laments in pain as an angle dollar floats up form his empty wallet.
"Oh… well the things we do four those we appreciate." Henri said trying to make Wombag feel better.
"Yeah I suppose. If someone like the chapter I suppose it won't be as bad. After all I have that vacation to look forward to now." Wombag said with a smile under his gasmask.
"You mean the one that you extended to write four one shot's for March?" Henri remarks causing Wombag to go quiet as if a window shattered.
"… (Sigh) yeah. That. Mind if you read the comments and questions. I need a moment to scream into the void." Wombag request.
"But of course." Henri said as the camera turns onto him. All while Wombag screams into a pillow. "Well as you probably know we won't be back for awhile. He plans on celebrating his five year anniversary of FF writing with four one shot chapters. Monsier Carre, I'd advise keeping tabs as one of the one shots was your suggestion. Now with that said, let us begin by going over your question and comments."
De l'honorable Black Cross0: Indubitably so, that was an ancient knife said to been designed to flay the flesh of man. Though the makers have long since perished the Mims Sahis still holds such sway. As for the nightmare, well that's more of a reference, that this has been happening for a long, long time.
Undoubtedly so.
Merci en consideration Black Cross0
De l'honorable Carre: 1.
2A. It is. And I'm glad to see that this story ends rather well.
2B. Try imagining that in an older and Scottish tone and you'd get FEB's voice.
2C. Indeed. So much lore behind the dark objects like the Sedefkar Simulacrum and Mims Sahis.
2D. More or less they wished it to crash. In exchange for ultimate protection. Shame it didn't work the other way around though.
3. Ah, thank you again for the thumb, and Joyeux Noël également
Merci en consideration Carre.
De l'honorable Crimson Weresloth: Ah so you were the one. I believe this is due for a long time, *Henri hands Crimson bill for damages, estimated to be in the billions.* Failure to repay debt will lead to your prosecution. Have a lovely day.
Merci en consideration… Crimson.
De l'honorable Jay 'Cringe' Keloid: Oui, you are. Thank you for la cameo.
Merci en consideration : Jay 'Cringe' Keloid.
Now completed I'd like to thank you for reading the epic story. I'm sure the host will take over once he is done screaming into the pillow that he refers as the void. So I shall end by wishing all my thanks for allowing me to be your host for the past few chapters. I'm sure we will meet again, but for now this is sadly goodbye. Please Fav and Fol the story, leaving a comment or question will be addressed in the next chapter.
Merci pour la lecture, from your host; Henri Peeters.
Hôtel-Dieu, Paris, A month after the crash
The scene opens up in the Hôtel-Dieu, Paris. In one of its critical injury ward centers lays Jack Gatling. The injuries he sustained were too much. If he survived, he will forever be mutilated beyond recognition from the torso. A forever Glasgow grin will permanently be on his face. Mentally however he is to be administered to the Charenton Asylum for psyche evaluation. Though the details of his mutilation, especially the part where the flayer turned his skin into monsters has labeled him mad by the staff.
As he lays there in agony, flinching from the ungodly pain. Something slowly slithers in through the cracks in the closed window. It moved silently towards the journalist. Creeping up the side of his bed, it was just a piece of skin. It slowly slithers towards Jack. Lifting itself up ready to pounce when suddenly a nurse walks in.
She didn't turn on the light, not wanting to disturbed the patient. She could have sword she heard something moving about like a paper in the wind. However she saw nothing. After a few moments she closes the door. As the room remained still, Jack let's out a small groan as he moves painfully onto his side. As he does, the bandages that covered his torso comes undone, revealing his injured body. What was once a patch of missing skin had one less patch missing. Instead, what lies on his chest was a new set of skin. It had nestled nicely into the biggest wound, a bit discolored to his original but when clothed nobody would notice it. As it lies there, the center splits, and opens an eye.
Looking around as if it had rebirthed again. As its eye looked around it turned to the reader, glairing as if staring into their souls. A flash of lighting appears causing the scene to go black for a moment. It then opens inside a dark office.
AIA club house, Boston, November 1924
Inside Boston's American Institute of Archaeology, the place was as quiet and still as a coffin nail. It was late in the night and many people had gone home. Only one man was still in his office. He was overlooking some documents when he heard a faint noise coming from down the hall.
"Folks, here's a story about Minnie the Moocher. She was a lowdown hoochie coocher; She was the roughest, toughest frail But Minnie had a heart as big as a whale."
As the music played, he gets up from his desk to see where this is coming from. Nobody should be in here, not even the janitorial staff. Borrowing a flashlight from his desk he walked outside his office. Following the sound of music, he calls out. "Hello!? Ms. Bradshaw? Tony? Is that you?"
As he get's closer to the music his nervous were set and his breath rapid as he finally turns the corner only to find an empty break room. Only light from a nearby radio illuminated the room.
"Hidee hidee hidee hi (Hidee hidee hidee hi) Hode hode hode ho (Hode hode hode ho) Hee dee hee dee hee dee hee (Hee dee hee dee hee dee hee) A hidee hidee hidee ho (A hidee hidee hidee ho)" The song goes on till the stranger turns off the radio.
As the radio goes silent, he then heard the sound of soft feet moving. Turning around he only caught a glimpse of someone running by. He raced out to spot the stranger but only found darkness. Annoyed and a bit frightened he called out: "Enough of this! Who's there! I-I-I-I-I'll call security!"
Again no answer can be heard. Feeling exhausted and worried he is losing it, he heads back to his office only to find a striking red head sitting on his office desk. Only wearing a trench coat, she sat there in the oddest combination of terror and arousal.
"M-M-Ms. Scarlet. What are you doing here?" The man asked as he stammers to turn on a light switch. However, it doesn't seem to be working.
"I was in the neighborhood. I couldn't stop thinking about you darling." Ms. Scarlet said as she slowly gets off the desk, slowly walking over to him she begins undoing the belt. "Your sent, your voice, your… face."
With that last line she pulled off the belt reveling a slender nude body. This caused the man to sputter as he goes red in his face. He struggled to speak as she slowly walks up to him. Pulling on his tie to her level as a lustful and mischievous smile appeared on her face.
"B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-But, Ms. Scarlet. I, can't. I'm married for god sake." The man struggled to say before he felt her lips pressed against his. With that his stutter stopped and his mind soon forgets all about his wife and children.
"Shhhhhhh, I can keep a secret my darling. You can say I will take it to the grave." Ms. Scarlet said as she pulls his left hand over her face. "Just for tonight, then you will never see me again."
The man gulped but after a few moments gave into his desire. Planting his lips firmly, the two kissed passionately as he pushes her back to his desk. Lifting her up, he begins undoing his pants before pulling out his cock. The two got intimate as the scene pulls back towards the wall. The flashlight revealing there two shadows, with the man's thrusting hard. Unaware of the multiple spider like appendages growing out of his back. The light then dies as a sickening noise of screams can be heard, only covered by the sound of a radio playing music.
Play PiSk-Minnie The Moocher (Freshly Squeezed)
A comic book then falls on the previous one, it was of Tommy, at a dinner looking head over heals for a spider like abomination. Both drinking from a glass of Malt milkshakes. Under the table however, they both had their weapons pointed at one another. Tommy's revolver and the spider like creatures sharpen legs. Beside the image were only two bubbles and above the name of the arc written as:
RWBY NOIR
Arachne Among Men
Staring:
Ruby Rose: The Silver Eye Blackwoods Detective
Thomas Colt: The Private Investigator
