Chapter 6 the hotel

Veronica's point of view:

Boy when things are boring they really do mean boring, its been like a couple months since Satsu big brother admitted to my music being amazing and like a month left till the extermination and I have gone into a rhythm waking up to the sound of Vox yelling at the fact another drone has been shot down trying to get into New Hokkaido, Valentino yelling about Angel dust and Velvette being velvette. I'm just glad that I had Thana to make my days better.

Waking up another day to Valentino yelling I chuckled looking at my side to see Thana sleeping softly. Her skin was so smooth and warm at the same time, perfect cuddling material.

Giggling softly, I brushed her hair and said, "babe Valentino is gonna kill you if you don't get to his studio soon"

Thana groaned and said, "nooooo I don't want to, apparently Angel is coming in later for some fucking shoot and I rather not be awake nor sober for that"

Laughing I got up and went to my wardrobe and went through my stuff finding my normal attire and saying, "so what is it with you Valentino and angel dust anyways? Sure I may be a member of the vees but I barely deal with Val…he makes me uncomfortable"

Thana stretched and said, "it's just the same song and dance, angel comes in, Val flirts with him, Val gets really pervy asking me and Angel to fuck hardcore, I say no, he gets angry, he then has a red dot on his forehead courtesy of one of Satsujin's many assassins, he backs off we get back to the shoot, Val drags angel off, I find out he is trying to attack angel I stand in and somehow I end up working a fucking 12 hour shift while angel gets to run off to that damn hotel!"

I chuckled as I then picked up my phone and looked at some new text messages from lady Morningstar. It seems she is starting to put together more seminars to help rehabiliate the current sinners which as of recently included Sir Pentious which surprised me! I felt really bad for him…Vox manipulated him into going to the hazbin hotel just to plant some eyes and ears into there…heck when he found out I was visiting on a regular basis he tried to use me to get eyes and ears going as far as to try and hypnotize me. It didn't work though, and I ended up beating the shit out of him for good measure.

Laughing I strolled merrily out of my room bumping into Valentino who chuckled and said, "ahhh Veronica Mi amor! I assume your off to see that lady morningstar~"

I nodded my head and said, "yep! Angy should already be there to so ill let him know you said hi val! Oh I also finished the choreography and lyrics for that music video you wanted me to put together for angel as well! I sent you a copy of it sung by me using angel's voice and a copy of the lyrics and sheet music to angel so he can practice!"

Val gave me a thumbs up and said, "and this is why I love working with you! now then time to wake up the drunk" before walking in to my room to see Thana.

Laughing a bit I muttered, "good luck thana" before getting out of the elevator to see my adoring fans including a blind fan who was wearing a t-shirt that had me in my advent of music outfit on a stage made of rainbows!

I could tell this was custom merch and rushed up to the fan and started to talk to her about how much I loved the shirt!

"eeeeh! That makes me so happy! I do a lot of commissions for custom merch and thought id try my hand at making merch for my favorite idol! Your music really sooths my soul during all this stressful times and I am grateful to have heard your music!"

I then gave her a special business card in brail and said, "when you get a chance call my number, I would love to commission you! whats your named by the way?"

The girl smiled and said, "Eme! My name is eme!"

I gave eme a hug and rushed to my motor bike and headed straight to the hotel.

Walking into the hotel I was immediately met with a squealing Charlie lunging at me shouting, "Veevee!" hugging me tightly.

Squealing back and hugging I said, "char char! How you doing! Oh my god is that a new eyeliner! I love it what color is it!"

"Red coral number 5, it was imported from the greed ring" Charlie said letting go of me and bouncing up and down.

She then noticed my outfit and said, "oh my god oh my god is that from velvette's latest collection!"

Twirling in my outfit I said, "heheheh yeah~ velvette tailored it especially for me! I love it! And the best thing!" I put my hands in the skirt's pocket and shouted, "it has pockets!"

Charlie and I were squealing for bit when Vaggie approached us and said, "babe, Veronica I know you two love to talk but shouldn't we you know start the seminar?"

Charlie nodded and walked me over to the group with Angel waving to me and saying, "will thana be joining us?"

I shook my head and said, "unfortunately no she said Satsujin needed her in new Hokkaido to finalize a deal between them and the princes."

Charlie raised an eyebrow and said, "that's- that's actually pretty cool! Satsu seems to be the only one capable of getting them to visit the pride ring for anything other than work with dad, any idea what the meeting is about, ooooh is it opening up another Ozzies!"

I gave a soft chuckle saying, "nah we already have one, apparently its got to do with the angelic weapons flooding new Hokkaido"

Charlie chuckled before saying, "okay enough of that! Today is a very special day! We'll be doing a new kind of seminar! Today we'll be singing about our lives before we died! If you are to be redeemed, I think it would be a good idea to come to terms with your past through music!"

Cracking my knuckled I was excited till Charlie said, "and the judge will be Veronica, she won't be participating" which led me to use my holograms to make my face all sad like an anime character's

I will admit some of their stories were sad Vaggie died from bullying, husk died by a gun when he was caught cheating at a gambler's den, pentious died from some freak accident with his inventions but the one that really made me sad was angel's he had an OD on some heavy drugs and all he remembered was asking his father for help only for him to turn his back and let him die. Immidetaly I rushed over and hugged him saying, "oh angel baby I am so so so so so so sorry! I promise we'll get you up to heaven even if we got to beat an exorcist and staple their wings to your back! We'll get you up there!"

Charlie looked at me somberly and said, "same we cant say the same for yours….i had my dad look into the deal you made…the demon responsible for that deal is long dead and with it he took your contract so your practically stuck here there is no amount of rehab nor repenting that can save you…"

My heart broke a little at that…I wanted to go up to heaven, see my momma again tell her I did great as an idol…tell her that her son is doing fine and that we made up finally, but I don't think it is possible no matter I will find a way even if it kills me.

Putting on a pained smile I said, "hey don't forget this isn't just about getting me to redeem myself its also about getting Satsu to accept that he is worthy of heaven before he becomes a fallen angel…you can confirm however he isn't a fallen angel right Charlie?"

Charlie nodded and said, "funny thing about that, recently Satsu had a huge meeting among the other lords of hell and according to him his soul is astonishingly pure for someone surrounded by sin, even his soul was corrupted by hell and yet here comes satsu someone who dealt in killing and he's not even tainted a little!"

Puffing out my chest I smirked and said, "yep that's my big brother for you! he's awesome!"

I then looked over at angel and husk and saw them arguing over angel being fake and I said, "soooo whats going on between the neutered cat and angy?"

Vaggie gave a soft chuckle and said, "oh angel's just made cause Husk keeps calling him out on his bullshit, we had a show and tell yesterday and angel brought in one of his pornos and husk went on roastings everyone and now he's even madder"

Whistiling I said, "boy I thought only thana knew how to legitimately get under angel's skin nnnneat"

Angel then seemed really spooked when his phone started ringing and then looked at us worried and said, "w-well Val needs me again for an emergency shoot! Tell you guys what after I'm done, I'll meet you all in new Hokkaido for drinks my treat! Veronica, can you hook us up at that new karaoke bar that opened up? Ummm whats It called? Great order?"

I smiled as my eyes widened I said, "oooooh! You mean Grand Order! It's a fantasy themed karaoke bar that opened up! Yeah I'll call Satsu and make the arrangements- no wait he's in a meeting with the other demons…I'll just go on over and make the reservation now then! I'll see you all then!"

Charlie looked at us worried and said, "but- but we haven't even finished the seminars for today!"

Angel said, "look Charlie I would love to stay here as long as I can but it's my boss and if you can do anything about him, I would love it! For now, it's my job!"

I smiled and gave Charlie a hug and a kiss on the cheek and said, "don't worry about it Charlie! I'll make the reservation and then pick up angel after the shoot and then meet you guys!"

Charlie then said, "actually I'll go and pick up angel after he's done shooting! So don't you worry!"

Charlie looked at us nervously as we left and the moment, we were out of earshot I said, "okay Angel cut the crap I know somethings up, what did Val want"

Angel was about to make some sort of quip but I leapt up to try and slap his cheek but ended up slapping his fluff which was sort of embarrassing when I tried to be intimidating but I went with it and said, "next time I'll aim higher now why does val want you for a shoot!"

Angel looked a bit shocked but gave in and said, "he- he doesn't like me spending time here…he wants me to spend more and more time at the studio so he can keep me under his control, he also said that you told him to demand that I come back to the studio to shoot the music video right then and there….Veronica can I be honest with you?"

I smiled and said, "angel baby you know anything you tell mama veronica stays between us, and that is my promise"

Angel smiled and looked like he was about to break down as he said, "I am scared Val is going to do something drastic to Charlie and the others, I don't have the strength to fight him vero…is there anyway your brother can deal with him?"

Smiling sadly I said, "I wish there was but Satsu is under contract with Carmilla and she has made it clear that he can not kill Valentino unless provoked…I'll drop you off at the Studio okay….and then I'll be back to pick you up, Val can't say no to me that easily"

Angel looked like he was on the verge of tears when he got on my bike and hugged me. On the way we listened to the radio where they were playing my new songs daughter of evil and servant of evil.

Angel gave me a chuckle and said, "so how can you manipulate your vocal chords like that? I mean you sound like a chick one time and then a dude the next! How is it done?"

I shrugged my shoulders and said, "when I was alive I used to be able to do all kinds of incredible jumps like that due to the fact I had an extra set of molars that opened up my voice box and like 3 or 4 sets of vocal chords that could give me different octaves and voices, docs called it multravoice was one my secrets to becoming a world renowned idol!"

Angel whistled as I dropped him off in front of the studio and said, "charlie should be by to pick you up in a bit I hope you have a good time…."

Angel looked a bit worried but he nodded and left. Revving up my motorbike I zoomed off into the territory of New Hokkaido leaving the craziness of the porn district for the neon lights and Japanese vibe of my home away from home.

Driving past the many street food stalls and its many bars I could see why so many people flock to here for entertainment I mean it felt like Japan back on earth with how Satsu had it set up billboards lots of people laughing and having fun but if you look closely you see what its hiding, the many alley ways and hidden passageways were designs so that any angels who tried to come here would have to walk, they couldn't fly easily here with how narrow some of the alleys were and how much they covered the sky it was an enginous method Satsu came up with using the buildings to hide his assassin guilds too as I could see his mercs patrolling the streets from the shadows.

Zooming past Ozzies I could see the sign and chuckled as I remembered that Satsu had promised Monarch a date sometime in the future and was planning on bringing thana with me as well to spy on their date and see how it goes.

Soon though I arrived in front of the grand order and walked inside to see people hitting the dance floor and turning up as the DJ played a remix of bling bang bang born.

The lady at the front desk bowed and said, "ahhhh it is a great honor to be serving you overlord Veronica! How can I be of service today?"

Smiling I said, "yeah I was hoping to reserve a room for a 7 people if that's okay with you"

The lady bowed and led me back to the room where I ordered some appetizers ranging from Takoyaki all the way to beef skewers while I waited for Charlie and the others.

Soon Husk, Nifty, Vaggie, and Sir Pentious arrived which worried me and I said, "wait where's Charlie?"

Vaggie nodded her head behind her and I saw Charlie rush in crying. My face dropped and I got up and said, "I'll see you guys later" before storming past them and on to my motor bike. I didn't even need to ask Charlie what had happened to know what had happened.

Pissed off I called Thana who was shocked and was about to say something, but I said, "meet me at the studio now"

I then hung up and called velvette.

"yeah what's up Veronica, need some new outfits?" Velvette asked.

"What happened" I said very annoyed.

Velvette seemed confused and said, "what do you mean?"

"Princess morning star just came by the Grand Order crying her eyes out after she went to go and try to talk to Valentino, and I want to know what that fucker did to her!" I growled angrily.

This shocked velvette as she has never seen me angry as she stuttered saying, "y- yeah okay well I'll go and check but val has the studio floor on lock cause they're doing a shoot right now."

Finally I had made my way up to the tower and stormed inside it kicking open the doors and making my way past val's security up to the porn studio floor where Vox was talking to someone.

Coldly I said, "valentino where is he!"

Vox looked rather shocked seeing me all pissed and said, "last I saw he was in angel dust's green room."

Satsujin's pov:

Midway through my meeting with the princes I got a call from one of my mercs.

"Sir this is Gibraltar I have something you may want to see" the merc said.

"Go ahead send it to my video pad let me get a look" I said while Lucifer was arguing with Mammon over something to do with taxes to new Hokkaido.

My eyes went wide as I saw Veronica leaving New Hokkaido heading back to the Vee's tower angry. Something was up and I didn't like where this was heading so i said, "Gibraltar you are authorized to follow my sister back to the vee's tower but keep yourself hidden, deadly force is authorized but be careful if it looks like my sister has the issue under control don't do anything if it looks like she doesn't I am authorizing you to put down the hostile like a rabid dog but if you do I want a full report on what happened got it?"

Gibraltar laughed and said, "hey anything for you boss Gibraltar out" before hanging up

Rubbing my temples I looked at Thana and nodded my head for her to excuse herself from the meeting to go and deal with what ever was going on at the tower.

Veronica's pov:

Storming my way up I grabbed my megaphone and with a click of a button the handle extended and my holograms hardened around it turning it into a mallet as I got closer to angel's green room I heard Angel scared out of his mind saying, "wait Val I am sorry! Please don't hurt me I am sorry don't hurt her please!"

Thana rushed up with me and with a silent nod we stormed in with me slamming my war hammer phone into the door to see Valentino trying to beat up angel.

"Ding dong!" I shouted before slamming the war hammer into Val pushing him away from Angel as Thana rushed up and held him.

Val looked at me with a growl and said, "Veronica! What the fuck is wrong with you!"

Pointing the war hammer at him I said, "not a word from you! I will handle you later" before turning to angel dust and Thana.

"How long have you been shooting" I said coldly.

Angel dust looked at me trying to keep a straight face and said, "ever since you dropped me off…"

Sighing I rubbed my temple and said, "Thana taking Angel out of here…head to the hotel I'll deal with Valentino."

Valentino tried to argue but I held my war hammer at him and said, "not another word, I will deal with you later and I promise I will make you regret hurting him while I am here!"

Thana nodded at me and rushed off with a traumatized Angel as Val pulled out a gun to try and shoot them but with a snap of my finger a bunch of my holograms formed a shield around them protecting them from the bullets.

Valentino then looked at me and said, "why are you ruining my product! Did you become a member of the vees just so you can ruin us I will personally destroy you and your image!" before he pulled out both handguns and aiming them at my head as a red dot suddenly appeared on his forehead.

Coldly I said, "I'd love to see you try! My voice echoes through the rings themselves so I don't only own sinner's souls I own demon borne souls too! You will never ruin my image! However, I wonder how many people would work for you knowing you have an angelic hand cannon that you use to abuse those who make a deal with you! You wanna hurt my friends you deal with the mama! Now then what exactly happened!"

Valentino then told me about how Charlie ruined the set in an attempt to save angel and I bonked him with the hammer allowing my holograms to turn me into a truly demonic form of myself and my voice into something evil before saying, "VAL! If word got out that you tried to make the PRINCESS OF HELL a porn star and tried to seduce her, how do you think lucifer would react!" Before recomposing myself and looking at Val to see the dot was gone and he looked shocked at me.

Staring him down I said, "you didn't answer me Valentino, what would happen to us if LUCIFER MOTHERFUCKING MORNINGSTAR found out about what YOU did to Charlie!"

Sighing he said, "he would fuck us up and probably tear up the contract out of sheer spite."

Clapping my hands together I said, "bingo bingo bingo someone get this man a prize! Yes! He will kill us! So, what are you gonna do?"

Confused a bit he said, "nothing?"

I nodded my head and said, "yes! You are to do nothing against me, thana, angel dust or Charlie! Look the deal stated that you can do anything to him while he is in the studio yes but while I am around you are not to hurt him!"

Val tried to say something, but I looked at him and he said, "fine…" before storming out.

Sighing, I used my holograms to refurbish angel's green room before taking a bottle of wine from it and slouching down on the couch looking out a window to see Satsu's merc looking at me through the sniper scope.

I gave him a thumbs up and the merc nodded to me and activated his active camouflage unit and disappeared. Sighing I flicked the cork off the wine bottle and leaned back drinking myself stupid for the night…I pray whatever Charlie is doing for Angel works…it hurts me having to know this will continue to happen till then.

Satsujin's pov:

As the meeting came to an end I got a call back from Gibrlatar saying, "mission complete sir no bullets were fired and more importantly it seems like your sister is more capable of defending yourself than you think"

Reaching over for a bottle of whiskey and pouring a small glass I laughed and said, "good on her I am glad she can fight for herself"

Lucifer then looked at me and said, "oh by the way lord Satsujin I have a message from my daughter for you"

Taking a snip I nodded and said, "what is it?"

Lucifer than said, "she wants you to go up to heaven with her to talk to the seraphims"

And just like that my whole fucking night was ruined.
