Chapter 1:
(Hiya, name's Doze and welcome to my FNAF fanfic! I'm a Christian, for those who don't know, and I'm working to better my writing, maybe start my own series at some point in my life. Anyways, this is just an idea I had from my childhood and I better managed it in this form, where it follows Security Breach. You can also think of this as a slight rewrite on a few things(well, a "fix-it" if it comes to maybe Ruin's events) Finally, I do not own these characters. FNAF Security Breach is the property of Steel Wool Games and Scott Cawthon. Meanwhile, Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask belongs to Nintendo and I believe Shigeru Miyamoto?(don't remember, currently.) Sammy is based on how I imagined Skull Kid post redemption from Majora's Mask, he's voiced by Fryda Wolff. Bonnie's personality and voice are based off of Insomniac's Spider-Man, so Yuri Lowenthal. With all this outta the way, enjoy the chapter!)
(oh yeah, I originally brought this from Archive Of Our Own. So all the stuff here being brought to Fanfic will be a little dated)

Bonnie opened his eyes as he went through his daily routine of morning notifications. Diagnostics were being checked, this happens every morning before he awakes from Sleep Mode. "Morning, already?" Bonnie asked himself, faking a yawn to further emphasize he was waking up, "Better check on the—Hm?" he then asked himself, but then felt the presence of someone clinging to him.
Bonnie looked to see that his adopted son Sammy was clinging to him, he looked really scared. Sammy was asleep, so Bonnie decided to pick him up to calm him down. The animatronic rabbit patted his son's back, he heard the whimpers of the near-seven year old.
"Sammy? Is everything okay?" Bonnie asked, worried, the boy opened his eyes and looked up. "M-Mornin', Papa." Sammy then said, skittish. "Had a nightmare last night, kiddo?" Bonnie asked, wondering what was wrong.
"M-Mmhm." Sammy said. "S-Sorry…" Bonnie never understood why Sammy would apologize for nightmares.
"Hey, no worries, rascal!" Bonnie said, "Nightmares happen every once in a while, you know? But they're not real, kiddo, okay?" Sammy took a deep breath, "Okay, Papa." the boy got up and sat next to his adopted dad. Bonnie looked on as he saw that it was cloudy today. "Looks like it's gonna rain today."
Sammy's eyes lit up, "Papa, can I go outside and play in the rain, please?" he asked.
"Uh…I dunno, rascal. I mean…" Bonnie wanted to avoid getting rusty in his joints. "I'll sit on the balcony, I guess? I gotta get my umbrella." Sammy then sparked up, "All right! Winter Storm!" Bonnie then tried to droop the higher ends of his ears to fit under his umbrella.
"Sammy, wear some old clothes out there if you're gonna play." the robo-rabbit called out. "Besides, you might not want to, cuz it's cold out there." Bonnie explained, but before he could, his son was already gone. "Kids." Bonnie simply said.
Sammy went to grab his Keaton-Fox mask, and grabbed an umbrella to limit as much cold rain as he could muster. "All right, now I just need my boots!" the boy then said. Sammy then looked under his bed for his boots, underneath he found his jigsaw puzzles and video games. "I really gotta clean under here…" Sammy thought to himself.
(Later)
Bonnie sat outside, umbrella held over him to make sure not to get wet. Sammy was playing and jumping in the puddles outside, "Woohoo! Water-Jump!" Sammy then said, as his mask almost fell off of him. Thankfully, the chaotic child managed to grab it in time. "Phew…"
Bonnie just chuckled, making sure that the weather won't get worse.
"Okay, mask back on. Time to jump in puddles." Sammy said, but then the child heard thunder.
Bonnie noticed it started raining harder, "Okay. Rascal, I think it's time to go back inside, the rain's getting worse." Bonnie shouted mildly toward his adopted son.
"Coming!" Sammy then said trying to get back to the patio fast.
Bonnie check his diagnostics while inside. "Okay, I don't have any immediate problems with my joints, so I really just need to dry my feet." Bonnie finished his checking, to make sure his joints didn't get wet. Sammy was shivering coldly, "C-Cold…" Sammy then said.
"Hmm, I'll go run a hot bath for ya, rascal." Bonnie said, "B-B-But Papa…I was o-ow-out-outside. I-I didn't get d-dirty." Sammy said. "It's just to warm up, kiddo. Besides, I didn't see ya take soap out there to clean off that mud, so you need a bath, Sammy." The boy looked down, "Okay…" Sammy said, annoyed.
"Yeah yeah, complain about getting clean. Get the whining out while ya can, rascal. Last thing I need is you catching a cold, anyway." Bonnie said, acting annoyed by the whiny-ness of his son.
(More later)
"Bluey!" Sammy shouted as he was watching the tv! "Oh! What episode?" Bonnie asked, "Uh, Robot Daddy!" Bonnie perked up, "Oh, y'know what that means!" Sammy looked at his Papa, confused, "Commencing Papa-Tron.exe." Bonnie then said, pretending to sound more robotic. Bonnie walked from the kitchen one step, slowly, arms held up respectively. "Papa? What are you doing?"
"Scanning…Scanning…Scanning…" Bonnie rotated his head back and forth, "Son found. Warning. Warning. Warning." Bonnie then said, Sammy started giggling a little.
"Son must be cared for. Running SonProtectionMode." Bonnie picked up his son and sat down. Sammy just giggled, his father was just playing around. "Son, Protected. Mission Accomplished." Bonnie then said.
"Okay, uh…Papa-Tron! Engage Piggyback-Ride Mode." Bonnie then nodded his head, "Piggyback-Ride Mode Initiated." Bonnie then got up, and put his son up on his shoulders. Bonnie then ran ahead with Sammy laughing. Bonnie was smiling that his son was having fun, and he decided to tease a little.
"Papa-Tron's Battery Is At 1%…Entering Sleep Mode." Bonnie then said, pretending to shut down.
"Papa? Don't mess around, you don't fall asleep like this!" Sammy then said, lightly hitting him. Bonnie shot up, though he was still messing around.
"Error…Error. Entering Baby-Mode!" Sammy then cringed, "Oh no, not Baby-Mode, Papa!"
Bonnie then picked up Sammy and then began to cradle him.
"Does Papa-Tron's Baby need a bottle?" Bonnie asked. "No, I'm not a baby!" Sammy shouted in protest. "Baby responsive, Error…Error." Bonnie said, Sammy looked at his dad with a stony face, Bonnie struggled to contain his laughter. "All right, all right, I'm done, rascal." Bonnie said, laughing in the moment, putting his son down and then rubbing the back of his head. "You did hit me pretty hard, though."
Sammy then said, "No I didn't! Liar, liar, plants for hire!" Bonnie then looked a little confused, "It's pants on fire, Sammy." Bonnie told him. "The SpongeBob version's funnier!" Sammy said.
(Later that night)
Bonnie went into a recharge station for a quick energy boost, hopefully managing to keep up with his power. This was a necessity if he was taking care of Sammy, as it was. Sammy was busy playing Legend of Zelda, "Yes! That's another puzzle!" Sammy shouted, "Papa, I managed to solve a shrine puzzle."
Bonnie smiled, "That's great, kiddo. But it's time for bed." he said. "Aww, really? 5 more minutes, Papa, please?" Sammy then said, trying to get puppy dog eyes.
"Oh no ya don't, rascal. In case you've forgotten, tomorrow's special. And the last thing I need is you up past midnight." Bonnie explained.
"Oh yeah, tomorrow's New Year's Eve! And my birthday!" Sammy then said, not putting away his controller.
"And of course you're still playing." Bonnie then said. Sammy sighed, "Okay. Night, Papa." Sammy hugged his dad before he went to his bedroom.
"Night, kiddo. And no phone before bed, either!" Bonnie then shouted as he heard Sammy shout to his room. "Oh come on!"
(The next day)

Bonnie woke up early that morning, fake-yawning again, "Early-Bunny catches the worm. Time to start decorating!" Bonnie thought, as he walked around as he got some decorations out.
"Okay, I think we still have some cookie cake mix…" Bonnie decided to work on the cake first. "Ok, just gotta look at the instructions…" Bonnie said, and while the oven would be set for the cake to be made, this would give the robo-rabbit time hang up some of the decorations. Bonnie sang to himself as this montage-worthy multitask was undertaken.
"I'm singing in the rain~
Just singing in the rain~
What a glorious feeling~
And I'm happy again~—"
When Bonnie took out the cake, he thought that he should notify Asher about it being the birthday.
Asher was a Faz-Technician who worked at Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. Bonnie was an animatronic that would perform there from birthdays to running his own bowling alley: Bonnie Bowl.
The place is…pretty successful, there was not much the two could make from it. Most of the equipment used and choices made to build this place are actually cheap for the company's willingness to cut corners.
Bonnie remembered the day he left…
(Flashback)
"You okay?" Asher had asked him. "I-I'm fine, but, Asher, where are you taking me?" Bonnie asked his friend.
"I have to take you home, Bonnie. I saw something, and if I'm right about it, you're going to need to be away from the main network." Asher explained, "Hence why I set up a recharge station on my days off."
Bonnie looked really confused, "What do you mean? What's gonna happen at the Pizzaplex?" he asked, "I'm not sure, but there are tons of weird things going on, lately. It's a lot to explain…"
Asher looked a little out of sorts, "Asher, I can't just leave my friends back there!"
Asher took a left turn as he pulled into a neighborhood, "Okay, we're here." he said, Bonnie looked at this place. It was a pretty quaint house. "This is my second house. I figured I'd let you crash here, since me and Cassie live up in an apartment near work." Asher explained, "What? So, what, I'm just…living here?" Bonnie asked, "I wish I could keep you in the apartment, Bonnie, but people would notice too quickly." Asher explained. Bonnie looked at lthe house. It was pretty standard suburb house, llooking slightly modern. "It looks pretty nice." It had Bonnie said. "Yeah, this is more or less our vacation home. It's pretty quiet here, you should manage to be fine."
Asher managed to take a recharge station and modify it for Bonnie to use at this house. This grand effort was apparently to keep Bonnie safe from something happening at the Pizzaplex.
Bonnie never understood what that was, though. "Asher, what are you worried about?" he asked, "I don't know, but Jess warned me about something before she was fired." Asher explained.
(End of flashback)
The robo-rabbit snapped out of his memory and finished up the cake icing. Bonnie then frosted the ends of the cookie cake with vanilla and blueberry cake icing. This was Sammy's favorite cake combo. "All right then, cookie cake's done, now all that's left is to see if Asher and Cassie can make it." Bonnie thought to himself, checking notifications.
"Hi, Bonnie. I'm coming over, Cassie and I managed to get Sammy a birthday present! We'll be there soon, just give it a few hours!"
That's what the email Asher had sent said.
"Okay then! Now I just gotta finish putting up some decorations and we're golden on the birthday party." Bonnie said to himself, getting the birthday plates.
"Morning, Papa!" Sammy shouted, wearing a Spider-Man mask, which startled Bonnie. "A-Ah! Oh, hey kiddo!" Bonnie said, "Listen, uh…I still need to set up, so I'd appreciate it if you'd stay in your room for a bit?" Bonnie asked. Sammy lifted up his mask in surprise, "But you always tell me I gotta wake up earlier than 12:00." Sammy said, "Yeah, well, this time I counted on you sleeping in. So, gimme a sec and go back to your room, 'kay?" Bonnie asked. "Ok then, I'll be playing my ocarina!" Sammy then said. "Sounds good, rascal!" Bonnie shouted, continuing to fix up the decorations.
(Later)
Sammy played Saria's Song from Zelda. This was one of the only songs he knew how to play on the ocarina, but there was credit where credit was due. But he was working on something he picked up from another one of his games. Sammy loves playing the ocarina, but he's also excited to learn how to play guitar from his papa.
"Wonder if Uncle Asher and Cassie'll come this year." Sammy thought as he played, there have been times when his Uncle Asher and his cousin, Cassie had missed out on birthdays and holidays. Maybe if they do show, they can launch fireworks into the sky.
"Let's see if I can get this next part." Sammy said, moving to the next piece of the music, starting to dance a little as he played the ocarina.
(Later)
Bonnie then finished the decorations, so the party was basically finished. "Heh, it's this kinda thing that makes me miss the Pizzaplex, sometimes." Bonnie said, feeling nostalgic. Honestly, he misses the place sometimes. Cooking cakes with Chica, following up Freddy on bass, makeover sessions with Roxy and golf sections with Monty. Bonnie wonders how the rest of the Glamrock Animatronics are holding up without him.
"They would love Sammy, that's for sure." Bonnie thought to himself, before hearing a knock on the door.
The robo-rabbit went to the door and checked the peephole. It was a familiar brunette. Bonnie opened the door. "Hey, Bonnie!" Asher said to his robotic-companion, "Hiya, Asher! Been a while. Almost worried you'd miss the new year with your nephew."Cassie waved at the animatronic, "Hi, Bonnie!"Bonnie waved back, "Hi, Cassie! How've you been, kiddo?" Bonnie asked. "I've been okay. I made a new friend at the Pizzaplex!" she said, excitedly.
"So, where's the birthday boy?" Asher asked, wondering where Sammy is. "Oh, I told him to play in his room for a bit while I set. I finished, wanna surprise him now?" The robo-rabbit asked.
Sammy was now playing pretend with his wolf plush, "Time to go home, Link." Sammy said to his plush. "Sammy, I got everything ready, kiddo!" he heard Bonnie shout from the living room. "Coming, Papa! Did Uncle Asher and Cassie come over?" he asked from his room. "N-Nope, sorry, rascal. Asher and Cassie are visiting family for New Year's." Bonnie explained. Sammy looked confused, "Aren't we family?" he asked, walking out of his door frame.
"Surprise!" They all shouted, Papa, Uncle Asher, and Cassie! They did make it for the birthday! "Uncle Asher!" Sammy said, excitedly to see his uncle. Asher hugged him excitedly. "Heya, kiddo! Happy Birthday!" Asher said, "Happy Birthday, Sammy!" Cassie said, giving her cousin a big hug. "Thanks for coming over, Cassie." Sammy said, giggling. "Aww, come on. I'm sorry we haven't hung out in a while." Cassie said, smiling that she's spending the birthday with her cousin.
(Later)
Sammy blew out the 7 candle, while the three members of his family clapped. "What'd ya wish for, rascal?" Bonnie asked. Sammy merely giggled, "It's a secret…okay, it's not. Friends!" Sammy said, revealing his wish.
"Friends, huh? Well, ya got Cassie, kiddo." Asher had said. "Yeah, that's true." Cassie chimed in, "Well, I know someone Sammy could be friends with, Dad." Cassie said. Asher looked a little unsure. "I-I don't know, Cass." he said. Sammy looked a little confused, Bonnie understood what Asher was talking about. "Asher, let's get back to the birthday party, yeah? Anyways, I think you got Sammy a present, right?" Bonnie asked. "R-Right, of course! Anyways, Sam, here ya go." Asher put a blue box out.
"I managed to find this on Etsy if you can believe it." Asher said. Sammy shook the box, wondering what it was. "Okay, it's not heavy…but it's not small like a game…" Sammy tried to determine. "Wait a sec…Uncle Asher, you said you got it off that Etsy site?" Sammy the put two-and-two together. "It's a mask, I think!" Sammy surmised, opening the box. It was a weird looking ogre mask, "Oh, the Ogrepon Mask!" Sammy said, recognizing it. "Awesome, Uncle Asher!" the boy put on the mask. "How's it look?" Sammy asked. "Looks cool, Sammy." Cassie said, giving a thumbs up.
"Yeah, you're right. This is nothing compared to your makeup." Sammy said, snarky. Cassie looked a little annoyed. "Oh yeah, sure. At least I can pull off makeup better than you." Cassie said.
"Okay, kids. Let's not fight." Asher said. "This is our fight!" Sammy and Cassie said back in response, "Ok then, but we still gotta have this cookie cake." Sammy and Cassie then looked at each other, "Truce." They both said to each other, excited to have some cake."
(Later)
"Look! Mine's glowing green!" Sammy said, holding a sparkler out, he and Cassie were holding out sparklers while watching the rest of the fireworks.
"Hm, looks like the new year's gonna be as chaotic as ever." Bonnie said, "Yeah, guess so." Asher said, Bonnie looked at his friend, he looked a little distracted. "Asher? Everything okay?" Bonnie asked.
"Oh. Yeah, I'm fine. Just got lost in thought." Asher said, "What? Thinking of ways to ask a gal out?" Bonnie joked, "Wh-What?" Asher asked, "I'm kidding, I'm kidding! Haha, though if you wanna know when I asked Roxy out, then—"
"Please tell me you're not serious." Asher said, interrupting the robo-rabbit. "No, it's…something else. The thing that Jess told me about." Asher said, Bonnie looked at his friend. "So, it wouldn't happen to be the Pizzaplex secret you refuse to tell me about?" Bonnie asked. Asher looked to his side, burying himself into his hat. "If I told you now, Bonnie, it might hurt to hear." Asher said. Bonnie looked confused in the moment, and noticed that Asher looked a little scared. Bonnie decided not to push,
"Anyways, let's just celebrate the new year's and Sammy's birthday, yeah?" Bonnie said. Asher looked at the two kids, playing around with smoke bombs. "We're ninjas!" Sammy said, he and Cassie running around.
(Later!)
"Happy New Year!" They all shouted together, "And just like that, 2023 is over…" Asher said, "And that means no more decorations until next Christmas." Cassie complained.
"Hey, it's part of life, kid." Asher said, smiling a bit. "Oh yeah, we still some of our Christmas decorations up. Papa, can we—"
"Not keeping them up until February, rascal." Bonnie said, already knowing what his son was asking.
"Aww…" Sammy said, sadly. He liked the Christmas lights, and didn't want to set them up just yet. "But that could be your birthday present to me." Sammy suggested. "Ohoho, not a chance, rascal. I'll ask Asher to order mine for ya." Bonnie said. "Aww man…" Sammy said, sadly.
(Later)
Sammy was asleep in Bonnie's arms, alongside Cassie in Asher's. "Well, this was fun. Maybe you could make it to Easter?" Bonnie asked, knowing that Asher's work keeps them away for the most part. "Hah, maybe. God-willing." Asher said. "Bonnie…someday I'll tell you everything. If I can get this situation under control at the Pizzaplex, then I'll tell you all about it." Asher explained.
"Okay, why not just tell me now?" Bonnie asked. Asher lifted Cassie up a little, to make sure she wouldn't fall.
"Because, I want this to be over for you not to worry." Asher said. "Anyways, I'll be going. See ya. God Bless. Tell Sammy happy birthday again for me." Asher said. "See ya, Asher. And no problem!" Bonnie said, as Asher opened the door and later got into his car.
Bonnie looked on, still not really getting Asher's secrecy here. Asher took Bonnie out of the Pizzaplex to avoid the situation he never explained. And if he's been investigating this for nearly seven years, how's he only doing something about it now?
So many questions, the cliche limit of answers in a mystery. Bonnie was tired and needed to tuck Sammy in so he could recharge. "All right, rascal. I better get you to bed." Bonnie faked a yawn, carrying his rascal to bed. The next morning of today would mark the new year's beginning at least.
(And that's where we'll leave off. Okay, so much fluff, but I hope the chapter was a decent read. A lot of things'll be explained a little later. As of now, this was originally how this fan-story I made started. I hope Bonnie's personality works here, too, and now with the inclusion of Cassie and her dad, I now have a more better reason for the later events to work in the narrative. Also, the references hopefully weren't too cringeworthy. Anyways, hope you enjoyed the chapter. Stay strong and awesome! And God loves you always, He gave His Only Son for you to have a relationship with Him.)
