"That's totally them!" Toast quietly exclaimed, looking at Gizmo. "Should we tell boss?" she asked, but he shook his head. "We don't know anything about these guys, I can sneak in close and scout it out," he answered, looking up at the dock. "They parked their ship next to ours. Run into town and find Cam," he instructed, and Toast saluted before running back into town. Gizmo fixed up the fur on his face before stepping out, approaching the crew casually. "H-hello!" he stuttered, getting their attention. Harmony tilted her head, "Uh, did we do something wrong?" He shook his head, "No no! It's just uh... Well I'm part of a pirate crew, and they wanna take you out." Lia scoffed, pulling out a yo-yo before he put his hands up. "Wait wait! I actually followed you guys in the news, and after my visit with Golden Egg, I knew you just liberated that place!" he exclaimed, putting his hands together. "After that, it became obvious what the news was hiding; that you are a great hero!" Harmony blushed, twirling her hair with her finger. "You think I'm great?" she giggled, stepping in place. "After reading all that, I consider myself the Melody Pirates #1 fan!" he laughed, making her eyes sparkle excitedly. "Guys I did it! I'm famous!" Julio sighed, "Literally his captain is hunting you right now..."
"Gizmo found them!" Toast said once she found her captain. "Damn, and you let him go in alone!?" he barked, startling her. "You know he idolizes those guys, he's gonna fill them in and they'll sail off, getting closer to the One Piece!" he stated as he started dashing towards the dock, Toast sighing before following. He grabbed two daggers from holsters in his ankles, and they along with his hands turned invisible. Toast opened a small bag she kept on her back, pulling out a collection of strange shells and a collapsed saxophone she snapped into place with a metallic thud. Kiwi's and Gizmo's ears simultaneously twitched. "Crap! She found him faster than I thought!" Gizmo exclaimed, quickly trying to plot something up. "You guys should get outta here, Cameron's rockin' a 300 bill bounty, and he isn't a pushover," he said before walking to Kasai. "Mister Kasai, punch me in the face." He blinked, "Huh? Why?" Gizmo smiled, "So it looks like I tried to stop you." Harmony shrugged, thinking it wasn't that bad of an idea, but before she could even say anything Kasai had already smashed his face in. But Gizmo seemed weirdly happy, muttering "a real Kasai punch..." under his breath. "Let's get outta here," Kasai groaned, him and the crew jumping aboard Nakama.
The two pirates came into view, seeing the Nakama departing. "Damn, Snipe's still halfway across town..." Cam sighed, but Toast cried out as she pointed at Gizmo. "Yea he told them to do that-" Cam immediately deduced, but Toast ran out of earshot. He sighed, but when she passed Gizmo and headed straight for the water he froze in terror. "Toast wait!" he shouted, but she already got under the water. "*Shit...* We got a minor issue here," he groaned into his snail, looking out at the ship already a good ways out. "Toast is..." he glanced towards the other side of the horizon, and his tone went much more serious. "Wait! Major problem!" Approaching the island was a navy battleship, but the color was completely blacked out. Various alterations and additions made it look like a proper pirate vessel, with a black flag waving. But there was no skull or bones, just solid black. Blackchain's flag. The jolly roger held his symbol; a red skull with blood looking like it's pooling around it. "That Blackchain is no better than those other Celestials! He sees Toast it's over!" he cried out, running for his ship as the other members of his crew came out of town. "Snipe!" The spiky mink turned his attention to Cameron. "Saimo!" Knuckles crack as the big man smirked. "Daggar!" Wind blew through, taking the cloak off of a Drakolos that was the same size as Saimo, who was picking Gizmo up. "Go!" They boarded the ship, all immediately taking their places upon it.
Blackchain's ship whizzed passed the dock, bee-lining straight for Nakama. On board, Blackchain sat in the captains chair, watching the ship ahead of them. The rest of the crew on board were all women, but not slaves. Every one was here of her free will. A young lady with straight black hair had her eyes closed as she held her hands together, a glow around her aiming right for Zii's exact location. "She's definitely on board," she said, looking over at Blackchain with her deep blue eyes. "Thank you Blackscout, you're such a dear," he said, standing up. Scout blushed, looking at him with awe in her eyes. "They got some kinda oars! They speedin' up!" a short woman that was hanging from some ropes by her legs called out. "Should I fix that?~" Blackchain nodded, snapping his fingers dramatically. "Blackdoll, take them out." She flipped up, and stood on the rope without fear as cupped her hands, pretending to hold a rifle. "*Pew!*" A loud shot echoed out, and Nakama's left oars got busted. Blackchain laughed, but then someone called out; one lady with beautiful make-up pointed at the water as some yellow object caught her eyes. "Fish it out Blackessa," he commanded, and she swung her hand and lashed strings from her hands, tangling Toast up and hoisting her up. Blackchain froze as he stared at the creature before him. "That's... A Fishman! A living Fishman!" a sharp toothed girl who looked extremely tired yet full of energy cried. "The government offers 15 trillion beri for any info, imagine how much we'd get for offering a *live* one!" a brown haired woman stated as she fixed the goggles she wore, and everyone started chortling. "Forget the Melodies! We just made *bank*!" Blackchain laughed triumphantly, turning away from their path.
"Harmony! What are you doing!?" Julio cried out as she started heading to the back, noticing the determination in her eyes. "We ain't normal pirates who'd use this to escape. We gotta help her!" Kasai said, shifting as Kiwi jumped on his back. Lia flipped the wheel, turning around towards the vessel. "If he tries to get away, I can't catch up!" Nakama exclaimed, already pushing herself to get closer. Harmony prepared to Shave and Skywalk as Julio took aim with Selena at the net Toast was currently stuck in. He shot a bit to the left right as a wave swayed the ship, making it hit its target deadon. Blackchain groaned as he looked over at Nakama as Toast got grabbed by Harmony before she even hit the deck, landing near the front. "Guess we're still dealing with them..." he said boredly as he snapped his fingers. "Blackblood, Blackbear; get the fish back. *Kill* the meddling brats." The sharp tooth girl and the brown haired one both locked their attention on Harmony, who stuck her tongue out at them as she chucked Toast back into the water. But before Toast could get away, some small threads wrapped around her and the mast stopped her escape. Harmony noticed, and rushed toward it creating a wax blade, but Blackblood growled as she shifted into a great white shark hybrid, snapping at her and just eating the wax. The captain quickly stepped off the air to save her hand, flipping back as the other one turned into a massive polar bear, swiping her claws at Harmony. She threw her arms up, but then the bear gave a swift kick, faking Harmony out as she flew back further from the mast. Blackblood cackled as she lunged forward, but was cut off by a wave of flame and lightning as the wyvern came swooping down, Kiwi already surrounding the sky with clouds.
Toast growled as she gnawed at the string, but couldn't get through it. "Man... Fine!" She pulled out two green objects that looked like nautilus shells. Using her gills, she held them next to her head with the opening facing back. "Boost Release!" she shouted, and the shells shot a blast of foamy water with enough force to jettison her through the water, back towards the ship. She dove and pulled up, jumping high enough to get back on board. "You want me! Come at me!" Kagaku blinked, tilting his head as the fishman boarded Nakama. "Wait... Y-You're a fishman..." he froze. "You want me for money too!? Raaaaaaah!!" she lunged at the crew, but with no oars they weren't catching up to Blackchain, and she ran out of slack as she got tugged back. "Wait! Is Selena alive?! Tell me is she alive!?" Kagaku cried out. Toast looked surprised but she didn't answer as the string pulled her under, and she shook her head as she returned her focus on the actual ship she ment to attack.
