The moon was near a desert planet. Two eagles were flying above it. "Well, this one is a bust. It's a desert with some signs of civilization. I wouldn't want to live there. "Alan Carter said from his eagle cockpit. The Australian pilot with blond hair flew towards the planet. "How can there be life there? "John Koeing the commander of moonbase Alpha asked. "They may have the means to collect moisture from the atmosphere. "Professor Bergman replied. "Scattered settlements detected on the surface. "Alan replied.
Suddenly a ship emerged from hyperspace. On Tantive IV Leia and Captain Antilles noticed the eagles above Tatooine. "Do you recognize those ships? "Princess Leia asked. "Never seen their type before or that moon. "Captain Antilles replied. "Try to contact them to help us. "Princess Leia ordered.
"This is the rebel cruiser Tantive IV requesting assistance from the unidentified spacecraft near Tatooine. We are being pursued by the Galactic Empire and our hyperdrive is down. "Captain Antilles said. "This is Captain Alan Carter of Moonbase Alpha how can we help? "Alan asked. "We need to find Obiwan Kenobi on Tatooine. "Captain Antilles said. "We wouldn't know where to look for him. "Alan responded.
Just then another ship arrived. The Star Destroyer Devastator. "Paul that ship huge. It is bigger than the ship of the Darians. "Sandra said. "That one doesn't look friendly. "Alan warned. Just then the other eagle was destroyed by blaster fire from the star destroyer. "You take out one of my mates and I will take you out. "Alan growled.

Massive nuclear explosion causes the moon to break orbit with earth and hurls it into deep space.
Force of The Moon.
"Red Alert! Launch the remaining laser equipped eagles! "Koeing ordered. Two more eagles lift off from the red crossed shaped landing pads. They race to join Alan in eagle 1. Alan attacked the star destroyer. He shot a dome on the underside of it and shot several turbolasers. Alan shot the dome on the right side of the conning tower. The bridge shock. "We lost our rear deflector shield! "An officer shouted. "Lord Vader, do you recognize those ships attacking us? "The captain said. "They are primitive craft from that rogue moon near Tatooine. "Vader said.
"They have disabled our tractor beam. The rebel ship is getting away. "The captain said. "Contact that ship attacking us. "Vader Ordered.
Alan swung around and was about to attack again when Vader contacted him. "You can't defeat the empire. Now you will pay. "Vader said as he raised hand towards Alan. "What's with the mask? It's not Halloween pal or is your face ugly. "Alan replied and then he started choking. Alan grabbed at his neck with his gloved hands. "Alan is being choked by that guy in the mask. "Alan's copilot Robert said. "He must be using some form of telekinesis. "Professor Bergman replied. Another eagle blasted the other dome on top of the devastator breaking Vader's concentration. "That was a close one. Eagles three and four escort the Tantive IV to Alpha. "Alan ordered. The two eagles came along the Tantive IV.
On board the Tantive IV Leia gave the death star plans and a message to Artoo. He found Threepio and led him to an escape pod. The droids entered it and Artoo launched it towards Tatooine. "Follow us to Alpha. "One of the pilots said to the Tantive IV. Leia returned to the bridge. She saw the eagles to the sides of the ship and to the front. "Those are sublight vehicles princess. "Captain Antilles said. "They are taking us to that moon. It's barren. "Leia said. They descended towards the surface and saw many craters caused by meteor impacts. Then they saw a big one that was blackened on the inside. "That looks like something exploded there. I wonder if that is what brought them here. "Captain Antilles said. They saw something that looked like the bottom of a spaceship with a flag next to it. 'Must be from an old multistage vehicle. "Leia said. Then as they passed over the lip of a crater, they saw it. An enormous base shaped like a circle. Travel tubes radiated out from the center of it. The cross shaped main mission stood atop the center. "Cleared for landing pad 2 to your left. Line up with the docking tube. "An eagle pilot said. The Tantive IV set down on the dark red cross of the landing pad with the docking tube to the left of the ship. The docking tube extended and connected to the port side hatch. The doors opened and Dr Russell along with Professor Bergman met them. "Welcome to Alpha. "Dr. Russell said. Leia and Captain Antilles entered the travel tube. The door closed behind them and the car sped through the tunnel. "What is this thing? "Leia asked. "It is a travel tube. It is a hyperloop system that runs all over Alpha. 'Professor Bergman said. "I am Dr Helena Rusell and this Professor Bergman. "Dr Rusell said as she introduced herself and pointed to the professor. The travel tube stopped, and they headed to the medical center. "I am chief of the medical center and that is where we are going. "Helena said. 'You took a beating out there and we want to make sure you are alright. "Helena said. Leia noticed the walls were lit up in large square panels with rounded corners. They entered the medical center after the doors opened and Alan was there being looked after.
"I just want one shot at Darth Vader after he tried to choke me by remote control. "Alan growled.
"He used the force to choke you. "Leia replied. "What force? "Alan asked. "It's an energy field that surrounds and penetrates us. The jedi and the sith use it like that. Normally they just move objects with it and fight with lightsabers. "Leia explained. "We call it telekinesis. This force could explain things we have seen such as ESP. "Professor Bergman said. Doctor Russell checked out the princess with some of her equipment. The Alphians all wore grey uniforms with different colored right sleeves. Helena's ride sleeve was white. "John there is something unusual about the princess. "Helena said into her commlock. "What is that thing you are using? "Leia asked. "It's called a commlock. We use them from communications and to open doors. "Helena said. Koeing walked into the medical center. "John look at this. The princess has lots of these microbes in her blood stream. More than the captain. Is this some disease we don't know about? "Helena asked. "Midi Chlorians. They are harmless. They give the jedi their strength. The more a person has the more potential they have to use the force. I shouldn't have that many. "Leia replied. "I estimate you have at least 40 billion of them. "Helena said. "That is impossible only one jedi had a count that high. Anakin Skywalker and he was killed by Darth Vader during the jedi purges. "Leia explained.
"I need to get to Tatooine now. "Leia said. "Not possible. We have moved away from it and have accelerated. "Koeing said. "Why are you on this moon? "Leia asked. "We have been stuck here ever since we were blasted out of orbit when the nuclear waste disposal areas exploded. "Koeing explained. They headed to main mission. "We have been searching for a place to start over. "Koeing said. They enterd main mission. A large room spread before them. There were desks arranged in a rectangle with a rotating one in the middle. There was a balcony on the left side of the room and a large screen on the wall in front with blinking lights around it. People stood at each station. "We just detected a planet capable of supporting life. "Kano the dark side computer tech said. "Put it up on the screen. "Koeing ordered. "It looks similar to earth. "Professor Bergman said. '" That is Alderaan my home planet. "Leia said. "Paul there is something large and metallic near the planet. "Sandra warned. "I will put it up on the screen. "Paul said. The death star appeared on the screen. "What is that? "Koeing asked. "It's the death star. Palpatine's ultimate weapon. "Leia replied. "It is the size of our moon. "Sandra said. "Wha is that indentation on it. Some sort of communication system? "Professor Bergman asked. "It's the superlaser. "Leia replied. "There is a power surge coming from that station. "Sandra warned. Suddenly green beams raced across the dish and came together creating the superlaser. The superlaser struck Alderaan and the planet exploded. "Red Alert! Prepare for collision with debris. "Koeing shouted. Some debris struck the moon and the base shook, knocking everyone down.
"Damage report! "Koeing shouted. "Minimal damage reported. No casualties. "Paul reported. Leia was curled on the floor crying. Koeing put his hand on her shoulder. 'You have my condolences. "Koeing said. "And mine. "Helena added.
"The amount of power needed to destroy that planet is astonishing. How can they generate that much power? Even all the nuclear waste that exploded in the waste dumps couldn't create that much. "Professor Bergman said. "They used kyber crystals in it. The same things the jedi and sith use in their lightsabers. 'Leia explained.
"And we could be next. "Koeing warned.
