Introduction:

"Link, quit it already, we have a job to do! Now!" shouts Tatl. She circled Link's head in a panicked frenzy. Majora had just called onto the angry moon. A powerful shift in the atmosphere made it no longer bear such crushing weight and all summoned Four Giants counteracted this increasing gravity. They both knew that soon, by the trembling of their arms, Clock Town and the rest of Termina would be annihilated if they did not hurry.

But there was an even larger problem. Somehow one of Clock Town's residents reached the top of the tower before them.

"H-He's too close, Tatl!" Link struggled to keep himself balanced. The Earth felt about to split in two. Across the entirety of the lit platform was rubble and debris. Gusts of wind made it even more difficult to see. The Hero secured his arms tightly around an unconscious boy in his grasp.

This is bad, very bad.

Their focus was on the enemy, but given the circumstances now, an innocent life is involved at such close range. Link cannot prioritize two things at once. A distant thud brought him to glance over quickly. The imp had collapsed without another word. Majora's Mask made a desperate escape into the mouth of the moon.

"I'm telling you that he isn't important right now, idiot!" Tatl threw her body back into Link's line of sight, "Are you trying to get us all killed!?"

This guy must have passed out to Majora's screams...

Link brings his attention back to the boy again. He shook him desperately and called out to him in vain. It was no use. Whoever he was would not wake up. They are the same age. He had indigo hair and oversized clothes. There was no reason for him to be in the center of this crossfire. There was no telling if Majora hurt him either. Luckily the Hero did not see any wounds on his body.

Leaving him here would risk him flying off.

"Tatl!" Link raises his face, "I'm taking him with me, yeah?!"

"You're what?!" the fairy's wings perked. She thought because of the Four Giants' cries that she heard her partner incorrectly, "What the hell did you say?!"

Dead weight was heavier. Link let out a grunt before hoisting the boy off the platform. He stumbles forward with Tatl following suit. Her bright light made some sort of guide for the Hero towards what could have been a death trap.

"Link, just what are you-?! LINK!" Tatl cries out.

He tightens his grip. It was magic from Majora's Mask that dragged the three into darkness.
