In which a Fillyjonk reflects on her impressions of Moominvalley's winter.

One minute, British student Martin Park is running through a thunderstorm in downtown Helsinki. Lightning strikes him and he finds himself mysteriously transported to the magical world of the Moomins, just as described in the Tove Jansson stories. Is he dead, in a coma, or just plain mad? And will he ever find a way back to his own world?

Waiting for the Moomins feels like an unnecessary commitment to a Fillyjonk.

A Fillyjonk and a Snorkmaiden have a conversation about feelings and emotions.

In life, everyone makes mistakes. Everyone says words they thought they would never say to each other. This is no different for Mrs. Fillyjonk, who prioritizes tidiness and organization above all else. However, when she loses control, more so in front of her beloved children, everything else falls apart and a tale of disasters arises.

As a kit, Snufkin made a mistake and now, as an adult when his feelings for Moomin are growing, it all comes crashing on him. Now he’s the “Papa” to the last Siren in a world where The Fae rules the land and Sirens rule the seas. With a stalker from his past free to roam, can he trust Moomin to help him protect him and his youngling? Or will he have no choice but to give up?

Communication, generally, is pretty hard. But it's much harder, when one doesn't listen.

Moomin and Snufkin begin preparing for their wedding, until Snufkin's father, the Joxter, returns to make peace with his mistakes, and his son. The real question is, would Snufkin even want his father involved in his long-awaited wedding to Moomin? He fears that he may have opened a can of worms that he'll be unable to get out of...

After a late-autumn storm, a strange shadow appears in the forest, and its aura is contagious.

Jatuk is a wizard who has lived in Moominvalley for a Century. With much wisdom about him, he passes down knowledge to Moomintroll in the midst of the turbulent 1960's and 70's. Moomintroll has his difficulties facing teenhood. They learn from one another, as wisdom is ageless.

The Snork Maiden refuses to accept the silk-monkey's claim about boys, so she decides to test it out for herself on Moomintroll.

Snufkin and Joxter find an abandoned orphanage while exploring the woods one autumn day.

Snufkin and Moomintroll have been courting for awhile. Things have been good, great even! But some people have been making assumptions that Snufkin isn't sure he's comfortable with.

This is a story about how Snufkin (and Moomin) adopted their fillyjonk daughter, but from her pov where she found some random guy in the woods while she's having a crisis

Snufkin thinks about thinks in the night.

Snufkin is hurt. Really, really hurt. Someone did this to him, and the Moomins are going to find out who. Little do they know, that the moment Snufkin's blood hit their doorstep they were opening themselves up to a new world of horrors. But strange creatures and evil folklore can't separate this family. At least not willingly. Gore/horror warning. May change to M rating if needed.

Summary: The Snork and Moominpappa have a talk 'man to man' and things from the past get joined back together again. The Snork only appears in two of the nine Moomin novels. This short story suggests what might have happened and what really brought him and his sister into the stories in the first place.
