Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or The Witcher.

AN : Hey what's up everyone it's Thomas and today I present to you the revised first chapter of The Witcher: Death's Coming. I decided to do this simply to flesh Helena and the story out and give the story a little more life. Now I know this took a while but as many of you probably know being an adult sucks, what with bills, taxes, work and everything of that nature, but after a hectic few months I can final get back to writing. Now just to let you all know I will be changing both this and the Dragon Queen of Anglanore but I will primarily focusing on this story.

Helena will have a much bigger impact on the witcher world in this story than I originally planned, manly because of her immense power, knowledge and abilities I was inspired to make this change after reading other Harry potter and Witcher crossovers and studying how they wrote their Harry's.

So yeah Helena is going to be overpowered to the extreme, I mean seriously if you look up the Torivor's you will see just how powerful they are alone. Then take an immortal Helena whose had 240 years to hone her skills and abilities, a master of runes which are broken themselves, the favor of one of the most powerful beings to ever live and you have a force that very few worlds can hope to stand against.

Location: Ruins of Hogwarts / Date: July 31st 2220

'It feels like it was only yesterday, that I walked this path for the first time.' Helena Perevell thought as she walked the path that led up to what were once Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This was once a place of learning, were young men and women came from across magical Britain came to aquire the knowledge and skills necessary to wield magic. But now it was nothing more than a burnt out ruin, just like the rest of the world. The only reason she was still alive, was because she had unknowingly gathered the legendary Deathly Hallows and became the Mistress of Death.

It had all started after she defeated Voldemort, she had wanted to return the elder wand to it's rightful place with Dumbledore. But when she tried to place it in the headmasters hands she found that her own hand was locked around the wand. As she tried to pry her fingers off she noticed the resurrection stone on her right ring finger and felt the clock of invisibility settle on her shoulders and before she could even comprehend what was happening they dissolved into her body.

Time itself seemed to stand still before a beam of pure magic erupted from her body into the sky turning night into day, such was the force of the eruption that the heavens themselves were shaken by its power. Hurricane force winds ripped across Britain and Ireland while a magnitude 8 earthquake rocked both countries to their very foundation's.

Afterwards, she learned that she no longer needed a wand to use magic and that she was nigh immune to it as well, all she had to do was think and it would happen. She no longer felt resistance or exhaustion when using even the most difficult and complex spells and after experimenting she discovered that she could use any spell no matter the type, difficulty or element with non of the drawbacks and ill effects they might entail. She decided to keep what happened a secret, not even telling her best friends Hermione and Ron. With all the chaos that had been going on in the world she felt it was best not to reveal her status as mistress of death and make her life even more complicated.

After news of Voldemort's death spread, she became a even bigger star the she was as the 'Girl-who-lived'. The daily prophet had name her the savior of the wizarding world and she was getting offers from all 7 departments to join, even though she was not old enough to officially join. Heads of houses wanted to arrange marriages between her and their sons, all of which she turned down for 2 reasons (1) she had no interest in men and (2) she already had a girlfriend. Everywhere she went people either wanted her autograph or to take a picture with her and while it was nice at first it quickly got old. Thankfully after 6 months things started to calm down and she was able to get on with her life.

Once everything calmed down she decided to take her NEWT's but instead of attending the rebuilt Hogwarts she decided to take the exam independently. Upon passing she settled into Grimmund place to further study different magics from the enormous library the the Black family had accumulated. It was there that she first learned of runes and discovered that she had a natural affinity for them. She was fascinated by the diversity and power that runes possessed and quickly mastered their creation and use.

It was her studying of runes that led her to developing an interest in ancient weapons, armor and ships and how runes can be incorporated into their creation to strengthen them as well as how to creat them. Through her studying she learned of various weapons, armor and ships which in turn led to studying land and naval warfare.

For 2 years she isolated herself and did little else but study runes, from their creation, uses throughout history and the various civilizations that heavily used them. Her studying was only interrupted by visits by her friends and Ginny, mostly Ginny, it was during these visits that the they grew closer together and eventually led to her proposing, with Ginny's answer being a night that still makes her grin like a loon.

A mouth later they were married with only close friends and family in attendance, 9 months later their 2 beautiful daughter's, Lily and Nymphadora, were brought into the world. For the next few years her life was peaceful raising her daughters alongside Ginny and she would was content to live in the warm embrace of her family. For the next 6 years she and Ginny raised their daughters, loving them, caring for them and teaching them all that they knew.

But as time passed she found herself wishing for the old days and the existing adventures, missing the excitement and adrenaline rush that came with them. Luckily the solution to her dilemma came when minister Kingsley Shacklebolt personally asked her to join the Aurors alongside Ron. After talking it over with Ginny and the girls she accepted and officially joined on June 7, 2007.

Over the next decade she and Ron reformed and revolutionized the Auror department and the rest of the Ministry along with Hermione who became a high ranking official in the Department of Magical law Enforcement. Over the next 10 years she and Ron went and led many missions around the world, from arresting dark wizards to breaking up smuggling and slaver rings. Though she was a Auror she regularly took time off to spend time with her family, never missing holidays or important events in their lives. Life during those times were good, but it was not to last.

On December 31, 2016 at 12:00 pm a small army of dark wizards led by Bellatrix Lestrange attacked New York exactly at the start of the new year, stating that the age of muggles was over. Tens of thousands died in the initial attack but Bellatrix and her allies had underestimated the capabilities of modern fire arms and technology. The NYPD was able to stall them long enough for the army to mobilize in force, turning the stalemate into a slaughter.

This event gave muggles their first and worst look at the world of magic, rampant speculation and fear mongering combined with the attack on New York quickly led to what would be humanity's final war. Though heavily outnumbered and outgunned, magic allowed the wizarding world to hold their own and for the next 3 years the world became a battleground. Entire countries were reduced to dust and rubble while tens of millions were killed. Then on January 1, 2020 at 12:00 am nuclear bombs started dropping on location's with heavy magical populations, including the city where her family lived.

The death of her friends and family drove her mad with grief and rage and in her rage she lashed out at those that had killed them. She created continent spanning storming and earthquakes worldwide which caused mile high tsunamis that sunk entire landmasses beneath the sea. She set cities ablaze with fiendfyre and brought meteors down on population centers.

For days she rampaged and by the end of her rampage the human race was all but extinct and the earth was nothing but a burnt out husk. Horrified by what she had done she had sought to end her own life and rejoin her family. Taking the sword of Gryffindor, she had turned the blade upon herself and drove it into her heart, she had felt as the blade pierce her heart but there was no pain. When she had opened her eyes there was no blood, but she could fill her heart still beating even with the blade through it.

That is when she had learned the horrible truth about being the Master of Death, she was immortal. She had fallen to her knees screaming about the unfairness of it all, about how she should be with her loved ones. She doesn't know how long she knelt there crying, but after her tears had stopped she decided to search for anything that had serviced the destruction of the world. For the next 200 years she searched the ruins of earth, finding books that detailed the history of humanity, artifacts from around the world and she even found a surprising among of older black powder weapons. But the biggest find was when she searched Gringotts and found that it had escaped mostly unscathed, finding countless magical artifact, weapons and armor, hundreds of millons in galleons, sickles, knuts and other treasures. But the most valuable thing she found there was the knowledge of how to create and forge goblin-wrought silver and goblin-made iron.

After she had searched the rest of the world she decided to return to the one place she had not been in 222 years, which is why she currently stood in the ruined court yard of Hogwarts looking around and remembering fond memories of her time here. She was broken from her thoughts when she felt a presence brush against her mind, looking at a nearby shadow she thought. 'What have you found?'.

A moment later something rose from the shadow. Standing 2 meters tall and made of living darkness, it looked like a 3 dimensional human shadow. This was a Torivor, beings she created 100 years ago to stave off her crippling loneliness. They possessed inhuman strength, speed and durability, could move without making a sound, teleport, read the minds of their opponents and were immune to magic while possessing their own. In battle they wielded dual long swords to devastating effect, moving with such speed and grace to make master swordmen green with envy, which when combined with their strength, magic and ability to read the minds of others made them nearly unbeatable. They possess a connected conscious, meaning that anything that one Torivor learned all of them would learn granting them unprecedented battlefield awareness and coordination.*

It was silent for a moment before responding. 'We have searched the grounds but we have found every little, tomes on various subject's, some intact potions but little more. Time has not been kind to this place, I am sorry that we could not find more.'

She sighed before placing her had on the it's shoulder and thought. 'There is no reason for you to apologize. I did not expect to find much, it was more hope than anything.'

She turned her attention back to the ruined castle wondering what she was going to do now, for the past 222 years her sole purpose was finding anything that had survived, but now she had no purpose. What was she going to do now, was she doomed to wonder this dead world for the rest of eternity.

"Not if you do not wish to." a smooth feminine voice spoke behind her. In an instant the Torivor was in front of her twin longswords at the ready. Both swords were simple yet beautiful, 48 inches in total with the blades being 36 inches and the handles being 12 inches. The guards had slightly upturned ends that led down into an 8 inch grip wrapped in an unknown black material with a grip ring in the middle and a 2 inch pommel. The blades surface possessed a mirror finish, both edges were razor sharp and led up to fine points.

Points that were currently pressed against the throat of a breathtakingly beautiful woman. Turning Helena stared into eyes identical to her own, in fact the woman could pass as her twin sister. Standing 6 feet tall with an hourglass figure that was enhanced by trim feminine muscle, moon pale skin, long wavy black hair the fell to the middle of her back and glowing emerald green eyes with perfect lashes.*

The woman smiled at her and said. "If you wish to leave this dead world all you have to do is ask and i will send you to another one, master."

Hearing the one refer to her as master, Helena instantly knew who she was but wanting conformation she asked. "So you are death?"

"Yes I am death Helena." death said with a smirk. "Were you expecting a skeleton?"

Helena looked at her for a moment before placing her hand on the Torivors shoulder causing it to lower it's swords. Locking eyes with death she said. "You are commonly depicted as a skeleton so I assumed that to be your true form."

The primordial being kept smirking as she replied "Originally I was a formless being that mortals perceived as a skeleton, but after you became the master of death my form changed to mirror your own. But to tell you the truth I much prefer this form over my original, there so much more I can do with it. "As she said this she groped her breast while looking Helene right in the eyes.

Helena couldn't stop the blush that lit up her checks, because even though death looked exactly like her she was still a beautiful woman. She and Ginny had been a very sexually active couple even inviting other women into their bed, but she has not had a release since Ginny died so seeing a beautiful woman groping her breasts got her more than a little hot under the collar. Deciding to change the subject before death could do anything else to entice her she asked. "What did you mean you can send me to another world."

Death chuckled at her attempt to redirect the conversation but decided to humor her. "It means exactly what you think it does, I will send you to another world if you so wish it."

"What's the catch?" Helena asked, eyes narrow with suspicion.

Death actually looked hurt at her open suspicion and in a soft voice replied. "There is no catch, you can do whatever you wish to. You can become the greatest hero the world has ever known or the worth villain, create an empire that spans the entire world or be a simple healer. The choices are endless and they are yours to make, no longer are you bound by fate."

Helena was stunned at the answer she was given, not being able to believe that she was offered such a choice with no strings attached and couldn't help but ask. "Why would you do this for me?"

Death walked up to her gently cupping her face and while looking her in the eyes said. "Because I have watched you since that night all those years ago when you lost the family you barely knew. I watched how you were mistreated by those that should have loved you unconditionally, how you were manipulated into fighting a deluded madman over a pointless prophecy. I watched as you lost everything you loved because of human fear, and as you lost yourself to madness. I watched as you searched a dad world hoping to find anything of the world you once knew. You ask me why I would do this for you, because I want you to be happy."

Helena could feel tears running down her cheeks as she threw herself into deaths arms and cried for the first time in 200 years while death gently ran her fingers through her hair. As she cried she could feel the Torivors projecting their love and support to her over their bond. After a few minutes her cries begun to abate before stopping completely.

Pulling herself from the embrace she wiped her eyes before looking at death and gave her a gentle smile. "Thank you, I needed that more than I realised."

"I am happy that I was able to help." Death replied, smiling softly while playing with a strand of the younger woman's hair before letting it go. "But I would like to know if you accept my offer."

Helena thought about it for a moment before deciding that she needed more information, so she asked. "What is the world you intend to send me to like?"

"It is a relatively young world that is similar to your world during the medieval ages, with most life located on a single continent. Though this world is also inhabited by elves, dwarves, genomes and other races that live alongside humans. It is also home to many different species of monster due to an event called 'The conjunction of the spheres' which also brought their version of magic to the world, though it is closer to chaos than true magic." Here death trailed off seemingly lost in thought before shaking her head.

"Forgive me I lost my train of thought now back to the explanation, the continent consists of the Nilfgaardian empire to the south and the northern kingdoms in the north. Currently the northern kingdoms are divided battling each other for territory, while also trying to wipe out non-human populations. Mages and sorceresses vie for positions of power any way they can with manipulation, blackmail, bribery and murder being common methods. Monsters prowl nearly unchecked outside and inside city walls. That my dear is the world I plan to send you to."

Helena though it over for some time, weighing the pros and cons, thinking of the possibilities that such a offer presented. On one hand she would have to deal with petty kings and ambitious magic users while also having to potentially deal with monsters at all times, but on the other hand she would be free of this dead world able to make a new life for herself. She had enough of plots, schemes and wars to last a dozen life times, but she could also do so much good. Coming to a decision she turned to death and said. "Very well I accept your offer."

"Good, I will be sending you to a small island near a tower known as Lornruk in the region of Velen." Death said with a smile. "Oh and before I forget here."

Helena turned her attention back to the primordial to see what she was talking about, only for her eyes to widen in shock when she was pulled into a deep, souls searing kiss. She could do nothing but moan as death's tongue forced it's way into her mouth and intertwined with her own. After a few moments Death pulled back leaving the younger woman week in the knees and before she could get her bearings the primordial said. "I hope you enjoyed it, bye now."

Before Helena could say or do anything Death snapped her finger and in a flash of light she was gone, Death smirked looking for to the entertainment this would bring her. "Let the fun begin."

An: Next chapter will hopefully be out in a week or two. I want to reestablish that I am not very good at writing romance so if I do and you cringe I apologize in advance. I also don't usually write lemons as i'm not good at it so don't expect to see any. Now that's out of the way I shall explain the *'s.

1: The Torivor's are from the Beyonders series by Brandon Mull. (Really good series, I highly recommend it.)

2: The Torivor's swords are identical to Aragorn's Strider sword from LOTR.

3: Helena and death look like Selene from the first Underworld.
