The familiar lurch of exiting hyperspace jolted James back into focus. He quickly checked the sensors, scanning the area for any signs of the Goa'uld base.

"Entering orbit over P3X-479," he announced. "Deploying drones now."

As the drones slipped away from Andromeda, James monitored their progress closely. They moved silently toward the base, creating distractions as planned.

"Drones are emitting EMP blasts," Samantha reported, eyes glued to the screens. "The guards are reacting—some are moving away from the central building!"

"Let's move!" James shouted, signaling the others. They activated their cloaking devices and began descending toward the base.

As they touched down, the team remained hidden, creeping through the shadows as they approached the entrance.

"Remember, we're going for the power core," James reminded them in a hushed voice. "Stick to the plan."

They slipped through the access point, entering the dark interior of the base. Alarms rang in the distance, but they pressed on, undeterred.

Navigating through the winding corridors, they finally reached the main chamber housing the power core. The room was filled with ominous machinery, pulsing with energy.

"There it is," James whispered, pointing toward the core. "We need to disable it."

Teal'c stepped forward, assessing the area. "We must act quickly. The Goa'uld will soon realize we are here."

James nodded, taking a deep breath. "I'll access the control panel. Daniel, cover me. Teal'c, keep an eye on our perimeter."

As James approached the console, his fingers danced over the controls, rapidly working to disable the core. Sweat trickled down his brow as he focused, adrenaline surging through him.

"I'll try to keep this place from blowing up," he muttered, intent on completing his task.

Just as James made progress, the door burst open, and a group of Goa'uld guards stormed in, weapons raised.

"Get down!" Daniel shouted, instinctively diving for cover as the guards began firing.

"James, hurry!" Teal'c bellowed, taking aim and firing at the guards.

James's heart raced as he pushed the buttons faster, the sound of blaster fire ringing in his ears. "Almost… there!"

With a final push, he disabled the core, the machinery groaning as the power fluctuated. The guards were momentarily stunned, their attention drawn to the failing systems.

"Go, go, go!" James shouted, diving behind a nearby console as blaster bolts flew past them.

With the core disabled, James knew they had limited time before reinforcements arrived. "We need to extract now!" he yelled over the chaos.

"Head back the way we came!" Daniel shouted, leading the charge as they sprinted toward the exit.

Teal'c took the rear, covering their escape as they navigated the corridors. James's heart pounded in his chest, the adrenaline pushing him forward.

As they burst through the access point, the sounds of alarms and shouts echoed behind them. They raced across the surface, the distant sound of approaching guards growing louder.

"Get to Andromeda!" James yelled, leading the way.

They reached Andromeda, the ship's sleek form a beacon of hope against the chaos.

"Get inside!" Samantha shouted, already at the controls.

James and the others boarded quickly, Teal'c taking a position at the weapons systems while Daniel assisted Samantha.

"Shields are up!" Samantha called. "We're cloaked and ready for takeoff!"

"Get us out of here!" James commanded, feeling the tension in the air.

With a flick of a switch, Andromeda lifted off, the ship's engines roaring to life as they ascended into the sky.

Once they returned to Stargate Command, the team debriefed with General Hammond, the weight of their mission still hanging heavy in the air.

"Good work out there," Hammond said, his gaze serious. "What did you discover?"

James stepped forward, heart still racing from the adrenaline. "We found the Goa'uld weapon and disabled its power core. The weapon is highly advanced and poses a significant threat if operational."

"We need to develop countermeasures immediately," Hammond replied. "I want all available resources focused on this."

"Understood, sir," James replied, feeling a renewed sense of purpose.

As they left the briefing room, the team shared a collective sense of relief, but James couldn't shake the feeling that this was just the beginning. The Goa'uld were a cunning enemy, and they had to be prepared for whatever came next.

A/N: Apparently the AI Overlords think that "Capital Ship" is small enough to act as insurgence or reconnaissance... right... SURE! XD
