Well fans it's been a while, hope everyone has had a wonderful Valentine's Day. And now here's something to get your hearts pumping for. I tried to do some research on other characters to appear, figure out what the next moving motion to help carry the story, and boy…is it something. So if you're ready, get comfy cause it's about to get crazy exciting on who's appearing from another alternative dimension of any character from a series be it comic, TV show, film or games. So I've done my best, so here's hoping now, enjoy…
Chapter 06: Cross Match Teams – Part 1
EARTH
MILITARY BASE
The scene changes to reveal a base far from Jasper Nevada, where inside was a war room of sorts. There we spot Agent Fowler by the monitor screen of a round table room. Around the seats were Vogel, Raff, Miko, Jack, and June Darby. Everyone that was involved in the latest events are present and accounted for.
"Okay, so Iron Man has given us a briefing on what's happening that matches what you kids told us." Agent Fowler explained the matter on everything they got that's happen up to now.
"Was there ever any doubt?" Miko rolled her eyes from knowing they talk about such an issue sooner or later.
"So ugh, where is mister man in metal armor?" Vogel asked from noticing Iron Man is not represent.
"Said he work things from a different approach while leaving us the ground work." Agent Fowler stated on what happen, for some that know Iron Man from the Marvel series, it's a typical Tony Stark thing. "So anyway, using our satellites, we managed to pinpoint those items that are so powerful, it make the Atomic Bomb look like the 4th of July! So while I sent a message to the Autobots, until they arrive we have to fix things here." He explained things as the monitor revealed glimmering dots that represent high level energy signatures: most likely those not of their world's dimension.
"So what do we do?" Jack asked from wanting to know what they do from here.
"Well that's the tricky part, while I can make a few calls to have our agents keep the folks from going anywhere near the locations on the map here…" Agent Fowler started to explain the concept of what is happening on them controlling the situation. "The real problem lies in the unexpected guest that are showing up all over?" The guy issued on the matter which the kids know all too well.
"You mean the other characters that the DMV brought forth?" Raff asked the question that's on everyone's mind.
"Exactly son, we don't know if any of them are friendly or not. Which is why some normal methods aren't going to cut it. Our boys are train to handle people, not fictional folks with who knows what kind of powers." Agent Fowler expressed his concern that they need to be careful in what or who they encounter that have abilities they can't stop.
"Then what are you suggesting?" June asked from wondering where William was going with this.
"Just as you kids were paired with different Autobots, I'll have you pair up with somebody to help you out." Agent Fowler stated on what the plan will be to help balance a human and non-human teamwork. "When we brought you here, we also been busy trying to bring in those crossover folks and I got guys that have search top to bottom of others that stand out to bring them in too." The agent man explained what he's been doing and he's been very busy rounding up such characters.
"Oh, so you mean to team us up with some of our favorite characters!?" Miko smiled from getting super excited about this setup now.
"That be pretty awesome." Raff smiled a little bit, not hiding the fact that such a thing could be exciting.
"Well considering we got both MECH and unknown villains that can show up, any help is appreciated." Jack stated to agree, that they may need all the extra help and firepower to stop this problem before it spreads.
"Glad you think so Jack, I have a list of those capable of being on the field and from what you explain to me, of their known qualities." Agent Fowler issued to pass over clip Ipads for those receiving them to use. "So choose wisely of who you want, no pressure since you can have about up to maybe 5 at best." The guy issued on where they must carefully work out a system on those participating.
"Woah, guess today's lucky number is made, hugh?" Vogel exclaimed from how things were working out.
"Okay, I'm gonna pick out some REAL Pro-active bunch for MY TEAM!" Miko grins to start looking over those to pick out.
"Take it easy Miko, if you go after the best ones, we might be in trouble?" Jack stops the eager girl from emptying all the best choices before they have a shot.
"Awww, but that's the best part!" Miko pouts from hating it when her moment is stopped.
"It is kinda like that game where you train a different world's creatures, and when they are raised to the max are the best on your team." Raf smiled from recalling a game that was similar to what they are doing of selecting types to help coordinate into their team.
"Right-o Raff-Man!" Miko gave a thumbs up to the little guy for getting the whole thing.
"Oh my, I'm not sure…some of these characters I don't know too well, and those I do are from when I was younger that I seen them?" June looked over the choices from what she had, and couldn't make up her mind.
"Trust me, it's a tough call, but we neither have the time nor the delays with the faith of the world at stake." Agent Fowler issued on knowing they gotta be quick to act under this pressure. "So select those you want, I'll look them over and after deciding a few things, they will be display on the screen. You have 5 minutes, so make it count. Cause afterwards, we narrow down those you're sticking with." The man firmly explain the last few things everyone had to keep in mind.
That pretty much gave everyone some time to try to go over what they saw, and noticed some names that were familiar. So many made picks of in Vogel's case, select those who seem like nice folks base on their pictures. After five minutes were up, Agent Fowler collected the Ipad device before connecting them into the main system to finalize everything.
"Alright, I've gone over the notes, tried to make some sense of who could be a better fit for each of you. And here's what we got." Agent Fowler stated on having finished and the selection was made.
Now the monitor screen began to display the images of at least four heads: Jack, Miko, Raff, and Vogel. And underneath the bold print were the team group's along with the names of those in which band:

"Alright! I got a good team!" Miko cheered from seeing who she's gotten.
"Looks like we all did." Raff smiled from liking the choices that were selected to aid them.
"Hugh, I wonder how some of these guys might handle subway topics?" Vogel exclaim from pondering on a subject related to his old job.
"I guess we better get going, where to?" Jack asked the big question on where they head from here.
"You'll all receive a separate location when you meet your groups. Me and June here will handle a different task with some other selective bunch." Agent Fowler issued on wanting to assure the group of what the next step is from here.
The others began to head out from the chamber, leaving just only June and Agent Fowler behind. The two adults began to prepare and leave the room as well.
"So, the kids are off? What should we do?" June asked from feeling a bit intrigued on what their role will be.
"Well I got a lead on one of those emeralds being close by, figured we can handle it." Agent Fowler shrug off his shoulders to admit he's got a source lead to follow.
"Oh, just you and me?" June asked from remembering when last they worked on a secret dangerous mission.
"Well actually, us and a few others I accidentally came across who said they remember where they saw it land." Agent Fowler sheepishly rubs the back of his neck to admit this.
That's when Agent Fowler opened a door to a room with vehicle that was a 2 story trailer RV that seem to be customized to appear very well made for space.
"Wow, this thing looks expensive?" June raised an eyebrow on having seen what was before them.
"Cost about 2.5 million dollars, but the government can pay with it." Agent Fowler explained the cost of such a vehicle but didn't pay it much mind.
"That much? I can barely keep minimum wage of my job, and yet you guys can just buy and make something only famous movie stars drive?" June asked from having a pretty good guess on the structure was from some famous Hollywood star.
"What, you think celebrities are the only ones that can buy these things? Besides, we need this to house anyone we come across. Which is why it's been dubbed: The Heater!" Agent Fowler explained to the best of his ability on the matter and pride.
"Really, the Heater? Sounds awfully close to the Heat I heard another movie star was using? You aren't copying him, are you?" June raised an eyebrow in thinking the agent man was hiding something.
"Ahh….anyway…So, may as well introduce you to who I got in our crew." Agent Fowler seem a bit sheepish before quickly changing the subject.
That's when Agent Fowler lead June into the federal custom RV and she was surprised by the amazing space features. But of course as June got in, saw a few crossover characters by the table of one who sta and the other lean by the wall side.
"Hi, Frank West. Best freelance photojournalist in the business." Frank West got up from the table after sipping some coffee to greet June. "This will make one headliner, stuck in an alternate world which it's problem is not zombies. Heh, imagine the tabloids that would make?" The guy exclaimed while shaking June's hand to mention this topic.
"Hmm…" June lightly replied before she reclaim her hand and looked to the other guest. "Oh, you are…?" She asked from not wanting to pretend she didn't see the guy dress like a ninja with a red scarf.
"Strider Hiryu…" Strider Hiryu introduced himself to the woman while eyeing at Agent Fowler. "Men came and told me they have answers to my questions, and are in need of my skills to protect their world if I am to return to my own. I will hold you to it…" He issue from being serious and studies Agent Fowler to pierce any means of deception.
"Yes, of course. I'll make certain of it." Agent Fowler spoke with an honest expression, knowing he's not one to lie to those that can help them.
"Is this the whole team you brought in?" June asked from seeing only Frank West and Strider.
"Actually, I invited the Scooby Gang to join us." Agent Fowler stated which caught June by surprise of who he mentioned. "Having a few teenagers with mystery solving skills could help us out." He issued on knowing how those characters are good at solving cases so they can help crack a mystery: and they need anyone that can help.
"Isn't that more then 5 like you said?" June raised an eyebrow in knowing the agent has more then five recruits in their party.
"They're a package deal, nothing I can do about it. Besides, they'll be driving their own vehicle with us. And not to mention, it's you and me, so…we can have a few more." Agent Fowler explains the case of them having some extras due to some circumstances of the issue.
"And what happens if people see two vehicles they saw on TV from a show or a celebrity's ride? Won't that attract attention?" June raised an eyebrow to know how folks gossip if they saw something mind blowing.
"We already released some story online about some celebrities putting on a live drive so to divert the public's attention." Agent Fowler counters the problem with a solution they came up with.
"Hugh, guess you thought of everything? And our first mission together in a while, it feels so different?" June was pretty surprised how well plan out this man did.
"I know, course I suppose it could have gone better?" Agent Fowler scratch the back of his neck from knowing the last time they work together, there were some…hiccups on the road.
"There is a new difference though." June calmly stated on a change from that time.
"You mean the present company, yeah, I figured…" Agent Fowler expressed from knowing they team up with aliens before, but crossed over characters of other dimensions is a new one.
"So, I heard of these guys from my son. Are they the ones you got your intel from?" June turns to Agent Fowler from wondering if Frank West or Strider were the black man's contact source.
"No, not exactly." Agent Fowler shook his head that it was not any of them. "In fact no one on our team gave us the info. Our contact is further out. We need to travel to them." The guy revealed and explain the case that they have to go and hear the real intel from some unknown agents out in the field.
"Hey mister chatterbox!" Then some folks came from the upper floor of the RV, and it was revealed to be the humanoid cat-men characters: T-Bone and Razor. "We moving or what? Feels like we been stuck here just cleaning house?" T-Bone remarked on how it feels like they are just doing nothing but waiting.
"Sorry about him, he gets a bit antsy. We do wanna thank you for making the top area large enough for us to work on our own vehicles." Razor tried to be a bit more friendly on not being seen as those that are ungrateful.
"No sweat, enjoy gents." Agent Fowler smiled to nod in allowing the two to have their say.
"Were those…talking cats?" June asked from watching those two head over to grab some grub by the refrigerator.
"Razor and T-Bone, they're expert on mechanics and well train fighter pilots. This RV may look normal, but the top was customized for military aircraft support." Agent Fowler explained a few nifty tricks this ride of theirs has in store for anyone that underestimates them.
"Well, this story just keeps getting better? Working with a federal agent, a ninja, followed by some grown cat-men and some teenagers. I be questioning your choices here if I were you?" Frank West shrug off his shoulders to make light of the subject that makes it sound like they all lost their sense of reasoning with this kind of plan.
"Maybe save those, we need to move." Agent Fowler cuts the guy off before approaching the driver's seat. "Alright, everyone ready!" He pressed a communication device on the front to display a video showing the Mystery Gang in their van.
"We're ready over here!" Fred salutes to the agent as he was behind the wheel.
"Like, can we stop for a bite first?" Shaggy asked from suggesting they get food.
"Reeeeaaah! Rizza!" Scooby Doo issued on wanting to try some pizza first.
"No time for pizza, we're on a mission!" Agent Fowler cuts off those with their stomach's talking to focus.
With enough said, the garage was opening to allow the vehicles to head on out. And as they ventured out, the scene darkens afterwards…
SOMETIME LATER
LOCATION: NEW YORK
The scene reopens to a location that was a Central Park, New York. It was dark outside with some lights on to give it a majestic appearance. Then we spotted the RV and Mystery Machine parking from having entered the area. Wasn't long before the Scooby Gang got out, followed by Strider, then Frank West, Agent Fowler and lastly June Darby.
"Is this the place?" June asked from looking around after exiting the RV.
"Yeah, our contact said we pick up some folks that said they saw some diamond fell around here?" Agent Fowler issued to confirm this was the right spot.
"Really, you think anyone else could have picked it up?" Frank West asked from looking around, being on high alert.
"No, we had everyone evacuated this entire area, just so no one would get it." Agent Fowler explains the careful process they did to secure public safety.
"Okay gang, let's look for clues." Fred smiled to begin their investigation here.
The Scooby Gang began to look around the area, trying to find any clues. The others watch as the group of teenagers were slowly moving bushes, scouting trees, checking park benches, even search trash cans, and all to not leave a stone un-turn. And as the dog was sniffing, he stops from having picked something up that was on the ground.
"Raggy, look!" Scooby-Doo spoke up to get some attention
"Like, what is it Scoob!?" Shaggy asked as he approach the dog as everyone look to the ground.
"Rook-Rook! Tiny Footprints!" Scooby-Doo points to the ground were tiny-size shoe prints could be seen.
"Scooby's right, they're footprints." Velma exclaims while she kneels down with her magnifying glass to inspect the clue. "And judging by the size of it, they look like a child." She estimated what sort of person would wear such shoe wear.
"But there shouldn't be any children out here alone, right?" Daphne states the issue that children shouldn't be without their parents at this hour.
"Not unless it was either a small adult or some kind of robot?" Fred speculated another idea that could explain the tracks.
"Hmm?" Strider hums as he narrow his eyes to the corner of a bush a distance from them. "Do not move…we are not alone." The guy issued on knowing they are being watched.
"An enemy, is it MECH?" Agent Fowler whispered to the guy, trying to understand if it's a threat.
"I'll find out." Strider silently issued on taking the task to find out.
Then Strider vanished into thin air before anyone could react. Then in the blink of an eye, there were screams before the others saw what occurred. The bush in question was sliced to reveal hidden characters hiding, thanks to Strider's lightning fast action. When the others approach, they found those hiding in the bush to be…very much different, and uniquely strange: almost like anthropomorphic to say the least.
First up was a gray male snow leopard with dark tan purple stripes plus spike-up hair style, and that he seem about 4 feet tall. Wears a green hoodie with pink, blue and yellow stripes, and a white t-shirt with a yellow mountain logo. Plus he wears teal jeans and purple sneakers. Also wears black fingerless gloves.
Second up was a yellow and white kit fox with big yellow and orange ears, and that she seem about 3 & a half feet tall. Wears a bright pink and purple jacket with blue, yellow, and pink stripes and a light pink t-shirt underneath. The jacket has a patch on the right sleeve. Also wears purple and pink sneakers, as well as a pink backpack.
"Hey-hey, we come in peace!" The male snow leopard held up his hands with a worried expression.
"Yes-yes, peace…we mean you no harm…strange beings?" The female fox also responded in wanting to not appear dangerous.
"Who the heck are you?" Agent Fowler raised an eyebrow, never seen strange creatures like these characters: so what kind of crossover beings are they.
"Wait, I know of them…" June suddenly spoke up from having studied who they found which had the group look to her. "That's Sam Snow and Kit Casey, from that kid show called Creature Case that's them solving mysterious and helping others out. It was a fun little kid show. The children at the hospital liked to watch them from Kit's zoologist expert skills to Sam's expert detective performance." She explained just what sort of characters these two small animal characters were.
"Kid show, madam, I'll have you know that what we do is serious business!" Sam Snow raised an eyebrow, finding that assumed matter about them was a bit unfair.
"Eh, I don't know. I certainly think us having our own show sound nice." Kit Casey shrug off from being the easily optimistic type of the group.
"Kit, you're not making us look professional in front of these folks." Sam Snow muttered this to Kit who was not keeping up a professional appearance.
"You mean because it's weird they're not like any animal we seen?" Kit Casey raised an eyebrow to state a fact of what's got them so puzzled.
"Hey, what's going on out here!" That's when T-Bone along with Razor came onto the scene, which really brought attention.
"Oh hey, look! There's some friendly folks just like us with them." Kit Casey smiled to approach the Swat Kats.
"You sure about that, one of them looks like he tear us in two?" Sam Snow asked sheepishly from looking at the cat men's built: he can tell T-Bone looks like three times their size.
"Oh don't worry about ol' T-Bone, he never hurt a fly. Unless it was bugging him." Razor smiled to pat T-Bone's shoulder while making a little joke.
"Alright, so we found some more Crossover characters, but we need to find those that called in reporting they spotted that large jeweled Emerald?" Agent Fowler cuts in-between this moment to focus on their prior mission objective.
"Oh, does this emerald look this width and this shape?" Kit Casey spoke as she moved her hands to describe the item in question.
"Um, yeah actually? How do you…" Agent Fowler raised an eyebrow, surprised some different dimension character knows what they are talking about.
"Oh, so you're the ones we intercepted that we heard asking agents to find any clues about them large size jewels and report them in? For a minute we thought we were talking to the agency." Sam Snow stated on never having guessed the ones they thought were those from their agency, not Agent Fowler's group agency.
"Wait, so you mistook us one agency for another?" June asked from thinking that was kinda awkward to get a mix up.
"Ehh, when you put it that way, we were kinda in a panic when sucked into a vortex and drop off in unfamiliar territory? And thought CLADE was trying to reach us with a mission?" Kit shrug off her shoulders to admit they were just so lost and confused, they thought they were in touch with their world's agency.
"Okay, let's skip everything else and hear your stories later." Frank West held up a hand to stop everything for the moment. "Can you tell us where you saw that jewel?" He asked from knowing that's the main point of them being here.
"Sure, it's right inside the big lake, follow us!" Kit Casey gave a friendly wave before grabbing Sam to yank him to follow.
"Are we really following these goofballs?" T-Bone muttered this to their group from finding them trusting goofy kiddie creatures a bit suspicious.
"Ehh, when in Rome, do what the Romains do." Razor shrug off his shoulder to not mind, especially when they are strangers in an unknown world.
Everyone was slowly heading for the center of Central Park, being lead by Sam Snow and Kit Casey. During the time, these guys were giving the update on what's happen and something about their world that no one would believe that involved the Transformers.
"So let me get this straight? Your saying we really are in another world?" Sam Snow asked from hearing this to understand things correctly.
"And that it's not only a world with which animal folks like us are…well, just regular animals, and humans are the dominate species? Fascinating?" Kit Casey asked from having heard enough to find everything a new learning experience.
"Tch, in their world maybe, but our world is WAY Better!" T-Bone brushed off to boast who's world is the better one.
"Well everyone is entitled to their own perspective." Razor shrug off his shoulders to not be choosy on such subjects.
"And you have aliens among you? And they can change into vehicles?" Sam Snow asked from something else that caught his attention. "I see some crazy animals but nothing with cars turning into robots?" The guy was fascinated to believe an existence of technological lifeforms exist.
"I love to get to meet one in person!" Kit Casey smiled from eagerly wanting to meet such creatures.
"Well you have to wait, not sure when those bots will get here?" Agent Fowler stated that even if he sent a message, he hasn't heard a reply.
"Wait!" Then Strider held a hand up to stop the group's movement. "Something is ahead of us." Strider issued from firmly narrowing his eyes ahead.
That's when everyone heard footsteps before finding a large group of soldiers.
They wore dark gray fatigue uniform, designed to shield the wearer from possible harsh weather conditions. It has multilayer carbon fiber fabric, chemically treated to protect the wearer from extreme temperatures, waterproof and even difficult to burn and offers protection against shrapnel and debris. Gloves and boots made with similar materials, but seem reinforce to allow the use of ropes. The body armor follows the same philosophy of the fatigue uniform, but obviously made with more resistant and heavy materials, and it's design seems easy to repair on the field, using spare parts.
But among these soldiers, there was someone who stood out from the rest like some troop leader. A male figure who's quite tall and wears a very decorative, high-ranking uniform; appears to be model after heavy-duty Spartan armor. Requires the same breathing apparatus as the other soldiers. Wears a unique Colonel's helmet, and the face is never seen apart from a part of the mask which is moved back automatically and the eyes were red with yellow pupils from the breathing mask worn.
"Sweet Liberty & Marry!? I know who those guys are!" Agent Fowler exclaimed from sounding very worried.
"Oh, your allies?" Sam Snow asked from hoping for a yes, but…
"No! You see that man leading that unit!" Agent Fowler points to the one different individual of the black soldier unit. "That is Colonel Radec from Killzone, a video game series. He's an antagonist!" Agent Fowler issued on recognizing who the character is and from what sorta dimension he originated from by their world's game series.
"Antagonist hugh, well we can already tell he's not a good guy. And I had my fare shares of evil military guys." Frank West stated on having experienced facing off against evil or corrupted military personal.
"You ain't know the half of it. Colonel Radec was one of the most capable and feared individuals in the Helghast Empire, served as personal bodyguard to Scolar Visari himself." Agent Fowler explains the video game history of what vital role this enemy played.
"Oh um, maybe we should skip this mission then and come back tomorrow when they are not around?" Sam Snow yelps with worry on realizing the threat before them.
"What's the matter Sam, afraid?" Kit Casey asked to lightly tease her partner on the way he sounds afraid.
"Kit, we dealt with dangerous and unexpected missions before, but THIS…seems to take danger to a whole new level!?" Sam Snow issued on knowing they solve cases and problems, but this time the threat seems over the top in their professional career.
"Yeah, well those Helghast Troopers are tough. They maybe scouting to prepare an invasion?" Agent Fowler
"Wait, there's someone else with them." June cuts those off from noticing something else occurring.
That's when one of the Helghast Soldiers were pushing someone to the front of Colonel Radec. The person was a Caucasian male, with dark brown hair and blue eyes. Has a lean muscular physique, a tan skin-tone, and was 6'2 (1,87). He appears somewhat ruggedly handsome with face being square and angular, with a cleft-chin and squinty-eyes. Hair is short and spiky, sports a five o'clock shadow. Wears Shoulder holsters and carries a journal. He apparently carried weapons, the secondaries are put into the holster while the primaries are put on the back. But right now he was disarmed and had guns pointed to him.
"Well as I live and breath, that's Nathan Drake!" Agent Fowler exclaimed from being surprised on who else was among the enemy soldiers group.
"Care to enlighten us?" Frank West asked for the agent man to fill in the blanks.
"You see Nathan Drake was from the Uncharted game, it was another game some of us played when we were little. This guy had discovered many hidden relics that lead to great discoveries, treasures, and parts of history none of us knew." Agent Fowler issued on having recalled what character was present, and the thrill a player got playing such an exciting game.
"Wow, hear that T-Bone, this guy could lead us to treasure." Razor smiled to elbow his pal on what they just heard.
"What good would treasure do if when we get back to our world, nobody will believe it's real?" T-Bone remarked that the stuff they find, if it's not something resembling their society it might be treated as fake stuff.
"Shh, something is occurring." Strider held his finger to the mouth to silence those and signal that they listen in.
"Alright Drake, I believe you have something that belongs to us?" Colonel Redac spoke with a grizzled voice particularly distorted by his re-breather.
"Really, I don't know what you're talking about?" Nathan Drake shrug off to make a light joke of having something of these guys.
"Do not play the fool?" Colonel Redac remarked with a cold threat at the guy's antics. "We found you having stolen something of ours?" He issued on knowing Nathan took something of theirs.
"Look, I was hungry, I tried asking nicely, but then your guys tried to shoot me?" Nathan Drake
"If it was mere provisions, it matter little." Colonel Redac remotely stated with a cold tone towards the prisoner. "But you took something that we found had potential worth. Now…Where is the jewel?" He issued this with a threatening tone in his voice.
"Who knows, I may have sold it? Tell you what, maybe check one of the jewelry stores, maybe you can buy another replacement?" Nathan Drake shrug off his shoulders, trying to get off easy but…
"The jewel we uncovered when finding ourselves on another world held untold power. Such power belongs to the Helghast Empire!" Colonel Redac snapped in remarking the foolish acts of one who does not know what great power was within their grasp.
"Yeah, that's nice and all, but like I told you…I never heard of you guys. I don't even think people have travel to outer space to start a colony as you so bluntly explained to me your history." Nathan Drake exclaimed from trying to make it clear he doesn't know these guys.
"If you do not cooperate, perhaps you would prefer to tangle with our latest catch?" Colonel Redac remarks in deciding perhaps it's best to demonstrate what they are capable of inflicting on those that won't cooperate.
Then loud rattle chains were heard before some soldiers were aiming their weapons to force some prisoner forward. But when it came into the light, Nathan Drake saw the prisoner was not human. It was a muscular, bipedal feline resembling an anthropomorphic tiger. Its color was mostly red and black, with banded stripes covering the arms, legs, and tail. Has green eyes, five-fingered hands with sharp claws, and a gray-colored torso resembling a sleeveless muscle shirt with black markings. Around the waist is a flaming red, orange, and yellow belt.
"INCINEROAR!" The feline tiger creature roared this one word off. "ROOOOOAAARRR!" It was trying to break free of the shackles that restrain it's movements on the wrist and ankles.
"Do we have an agreement?" Colonel Redac looked to the stump Nathan Drake.
"Gulp….honestly…that's a new species even I never seen before?" Nathan Drake swallowed hard from never seeing a creature like this in his life.
"This is the first one, my troops have captured many others…" Colonel Redac explained the first half to the question. "And we have also caught the one who seems most interested in them." He brought up another topic that caught everyone's attention.
Then more Helghast Soldiers pushed wheel cages that contain advance tech to keep prisoners from escaping. Only thing was that those kept captive were not human beings, but strange animals.
One was a small, and cute mouse-like creature completely covered by yellow fur, have long yellow ears that are tipped with black. The back has two brown stripes, and a large tail is notable for being shaped like a lightning bolt. Has short arms with five tiny fingers on forehands and three sharp fingers on the hind legs. On the cheeks are two red, circle-shaped pouches which it produced electricity. It turned yellow and spark with electricity as it seem angry to zap it's cage with little success.
Also caged with the same creature was a very small, plump, yellow rodent-like creature. It bears a similar appearance to the other mouse creature, but varies in a number of ways. Has diamond-shaped ears on the top of the head, with the edges being black and the interior yellow. Underneath the head is a black pattern, that somewhat resembles a collar. The tail is completely black, and resemble a small lightning bolt. Also has round, pink sacs on the cheeks, which it used for storing electricity. To zap free. But not only did it not work on the cage, the littlest mouse seem a little dizzy from the action.
Then the next thing seen was also in cuffs and chains. A bipedal dog/wolf/jackal-like creature with predominantly blue and black fur, with a few raccoon-like characteristics as well. Possesses a short, round spike on the back of each forepaw, in addition to a third on the chest. Has red eyes, a long snout, and ears. When the mouth is open, two pairs of pointed teeth, one in the upper jaw and one in the lower, can be seen. Possesses cream-colored fur on the torso and blue fur on the thighs that resemble shorts. Has a medium-length tail of the same blue color as well. Stands on the toes rather than on the entire foot. Has developed four black appendages that hang down from the head.
Fourth up was something also chained around the hands and feet along with a mouth guard. This creature was a bipedal, frog-like creature that was mostly dark blue with a yellow chest, a white triangular marking over each eye, a light blue four-pointed star on each thigh, and yellow on the lower half of the face. Has red eyes with white pupils and the mouth was hidden behind a large, pink tongue that wraps around the neck and extends outward behind the head. Running down the middle of the head was a fin-like extension, and there is a similar fin on each side of the head. Light blue webbing connects the head fins. There's a large, white bubble-like bump on each elbow and knee. The back feet have two toes, while the front feet have three toes. Each digit has a bulbous tip and yellow webbing.
Lastly was something kept in a metallic clear sphere case with air holes. It was a small round pink creature with a tuft of curly fur on the head. Has short, digitless limbs, pointy catlike ears, and large blue eyes.
Then along the way came two Helghast Soldiers yanking a chain that restrain someone's wrist which turn out to be…someone human. A young man who has black, spiky hair and black eyes. Also wears red short sleeve jacket with a white trim, white sleeves, white patch pockets with flap and white popped collar over a black t-shirt. Wears blue jeans with white cuffs, red and white sneakers as well as a red and white cap with the symbol of a golden leaf on the left side of it. The boy also carries a brown backpack with a light black strap.
"Ugh…Nrrrugh…?" The boy struggled to break free but the soldiers restrain his arms.
"Hey-hey, what are you doing bringing a kid into this?" Nathan Drake protest from seeing the soldiers mishandle some young boy no older then 10 years old.
"He has knowledge about these creatures. So he is useful…for the time being." Colonel Redac stated to say before he points at a weapon at the boy. "But perhaps if you don't cooperate now, his blood will be on yours." He issued on the cold hard fact that he can kill with hesitation, all to secure victory and achieve their goals.
"By the Fourth of July, they gone and caught some Pokemon creatures!?" Agent Fowler muttered under his breath when he and the others watching this saw what was going down.
"Wait, isn't that from that popular franchise the kids today like playing video and card games, even watch on television?" June silently whispered on recalling the creatures from such commercial and talk aids.
"I never heard of such creatures, what are they?" Kit Casey asked from being curious about Pokemon.
"The big cat is Incineroar, it's both a Fire/Dark type." Agent Fowler simply explains what the red humanoid cat wrestler creature was. "Then there's Pikachu and it's pre-evolved form Pichu, both are Electric types. Pass them are the dog creature called Lucario that's a Fighting/Steel type. The ninja frog creature is a Greninja that's a Water/Dark type. And lastly that pink puffy creature is a Jigglypuff which is a Normal/Fairy type." The man explained the basic knowledge of each different Pokemon that was line up as followed.
"That's…a lot? Is that all of them?" Kit Casey asked from pondering a very good question.
"Heck no, there was only 151 of them, but over the years, there's over 1000 types of different Pokemon. And trust me, if there were Legendary ones here, even an army have trouble containing them." Agent Fowler explains that to anyone's knowledge, there is well over a 1000 Pokemon type creatures, maybe even more and some are higher up that are in a class that makes them one of a kind.
"Somehow hearing how powerfully strong these creatures are, I'm starting to think it's impossible for them to be caught. So how then?" Sam Snow was utterly surprised that anyone could capture something that strong.
"Well that boy over there is a Pokemon Trainer named Red, he was always used in the early game stages for young players to get a feel for how to play and catch a lot of Pokemon. Course those that are Trainers can only hold up to 6 Pokemon in these round devices called Pokeballs." Agent Fowler explained who the boy with the red hat was since many folks that know the Pokemon franchise knows all types of characters: even the trainers of such Pokemon.
"One…two…three…four…five…six!? That's how many of them there are captured." Kit Casey counted each different Pokemon that was noticed.
"Incineroar, Pikach, Pichu, Lucario, Greninja, and Jigglypuff…that's all six." Sam Snow labeled each Pokemon to confirm the math was not wrong.
"Right, looks like they got all the Pokemon that Red must have had on him?" Agent Fowler held his chin to ponder a guess during this brief moment of the situation. "And it seems like now, we're gonna have to change tactics to rescue them." He muttered from knowing the situation may change to pull those endanger out of harms way: getting Nathan Drake, Red and his Pokemon.
"Now you're speaking my language." T-Bone grins to punch his fist together, hoping they get to fighting now.
"We'll go get the plane ready…" Razor issued as he and T-Bone went back to the RV to get into their ride.
"We'll wait for the SWAT Kats to return. We go out there now, and we're as good as finished. We need a way to distract them, but how?" Agent Fowler explains things on what to do but ponders how they can perform it.
"Um, guys…I think mister ninja is already on it." Fran West issued from noticing someone was not around.
Then something began to happen that no one was expecting. Strider used his ninja skills to quickly destroy the iron shackles that restrain Incineroar, which cause the soldiers to be alarmed. That's when flames were produced from the belt area, as Incineroar prepares a move with it's sudden freedom.
"INCINEROAR!" Incineroar roared forth as it attacked with some flame coated claw and dealt some kinda Fire Punch move that destroyed some equipment.
"Sir, one of the creatures has escaped!?" A Helghast soldier reported the emergency situation.
"Restrain it!" Colonel Redac gave firm orders to have the scatter troops contain the wild beast.
"Colonel! The other cages, someone is freeing them!?" Then another Helghast Soldier approached to reveal another situation that has happened.
Strider was instantly going to destroy the chains, shackles, and cage containing the other Pokemon, even freed Red as well. Realizing what was happening, the Pokemon began to have a counterattack before the enemy had a chance, and many either ran around or used brute strength. With the distraction in play, Nathan Drake grabbed the boy named Red to get him out of the fire.
"Hmmm….HALT!" Colonel Redac noticed the prisoners escaping, and prepared to attack…
"CLASH!" Then without warning, Strider attacks with his weapon to repel Colonel Redac: that's when the other good guys appeared to provide cover for Nathan Drake and Red.
"Who are you?" Red asked from noticing the strangers around him.
"Son, we're here to help get you all away from those guys!" Agent Fowler assured the boy that they are all on the same side.
"In short, we're the good guys." Frank West bluntly went with the simple answer to resolve the confusion.
"Hugh?" Red then noticed Sam Snow and Kit Casey. "Wait, are you Pokemon?" The boy asked from never having seen such creatures before.
"What, we're not Pokemon?!" Sam Snow yelps upon being compared to such things.
"You can talk?" Nathan Drake raise an eyebrow in seeing an animal that can speak.
"They can speak our language?" Red was also shocked because Pokemon only say their name or growl cries, never the people's tongue.
"Well yeah, it's not that hard." Kit Casey shrug off her shoulders to admit this part while Sam Snow signs at his partner's easygoing act.
"So, you had allies Nathan Drake?" Colonel Redac snapped forth at the little hero that had them fooled.
"I wouldn't call them my allies, but seeing they aren't threatening to kill me, I'll take my chances." Nathan Drake shrug off his shoulders to know when to accept good help in unexpected times.
"Then it appears if you are resorting to such measures, then it is only fair…We do the same." Colonel Redac declared on deciding they should even the plain field. "Call forth the secret weapon!" He gave a raised hand signal when announcing these orders.
"Yes Sir!" One of the Helghast Soldiers replied before it was working by a communication device.
While the Pokemon were handling themselves to perform hit-n-run tactic moves, there was a loud stomp sound from the distance. The animals felt like something was coming, and it was very big. That's when something was seen dropping in all of a sudden to stomp before everyone and be present. An amphibious weapon standing 20 meters tall, giant wings located on each side, a tail on the hind end of the unit, a water cutter housed in the mouth. The color theme was mostly dark grey, black and red patterns.
"RAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGHHHHH!" The metallic beast let off a terrifying screeching roar that shook the entire battlefield.
"Oh no….No-no….they have THAT Thing?" Agent Fowler exclaimed with a widen and terrified expression.
"What the heck is that thing?" June asked from looking a bit worried on facing down something like a Transformer.
"Metal Gear Ray from the Metal Gear game series. But this one's the Unmanned Gear type run by an AI. And this one looks like the type to cause serious casual damage to New York if we let it go free." Agent Fowler explained the serious dangers they are facing if they do not stop something that dangerous from running amuck.
"Um, maybe we can try to reason with it?" Kit Casey sheepishly smile to offer some friendly advice.
"Somehow Kit, I DON'T think it can be reason with?" Sam Snow expressed the same scared expression, they seen scary animals before and this metal beast takes the cake.
"But how do these guys have control over a Metal Gear?" Agent Fowler protest, he knows the Helghast and Metal Gear are from two different game realities.
"Even Helghast technology can easily overwrite a programming. And turn one weapon into our own." Colonel Redac explained the steps they have taken to secure victory. "Metal Gear RAY – Destroy our enemies!" Colonel Redac gave the order to the mechanical beast.
Everyone yelps from the attacks coming from both Helghast Army and a rampaging Metal Gear RAY on the loose. Just before the metal beast would attack, it was being bombarded with machine guns and missile shots from a jet plane that flew overhead. Upon closer examination, the SWAT Kats were on the scene as they got in their ride to take action before the battle begun. Course as the smoke cleared, the damage done didn't seem to made Metal Gear RAY even flinch.
"Man, it's a good thing we got into our vehicle when we did?" Razor exclaimed on how they reacted to bring the heavy artillery air support. "Now we can react our favorite movie attacking a giant monster loose in the city." The guy was excited, since they can do what anyone has seen in action films on planes firing on giant rampaging monsters.
"Except in the movies it was all fake, this won't be FAKE if we don't sink this sucker!" T-Bone remarked to remind his co-pilot of the reality check they are living in.
"RAAAUURRRRRRGHHHH!" Metal Gear RAY released a monstrous metallic roar that shook the entire area.
That's when Metal Gear RAY started to
"ZOINKS?! Like I think we just got tangled up with the King of Monsters!?" Shaggy yelps as he and the Mystery Gang were running to escape the carnage.
"Reaaahhh! Ring of Monsters!" Scooby-Doo replied from fearing this thing is a real monster made of metal.
"Don't lose hope gang, if we set a trap, we can stop it." Fred issued froth when they took cover to rethink the situation.
"Whatever kind of trap it is, it's going to have to be big?" Daphne stated on knowing they need something big to deal with something huge.
"There might be something we can use from the van, let's hurry." Velma signal the group on what to do as the gang rushes without letting the Helghast Soldiers spot them.
The battle against the Helghast Soldiers and the Metal Gear RAY was shaking things up a lot. Even as the taller and more experience evolved Pokemon handle the soldiers, when encountering Metal Gear RAY, it was completely different to not get squashed or blasted by hidden missiles in the wings. And as the soldiers fought the different heroes, Strider was keeping Colonel Redac distracted.
"You appear very skilled, for a non-Helghast member?" Colonel Redac exclaimed from having fended off against Strider a few rounds.
"I will not fall here, I must return to where I belong." Strider declared froth this matter before diving in while the enemy open fire.
"BAM-BAM!" Then as things were heating up, many explosive rounds caused many others that were fighting to be more alert. The answer was because of a large mobile weapon destroying things from having launch missiles that leveled some trees and started to cause a fire.
"RAAAUUURRRRRRRRGH!" Metal Gear RAY roars as it continues it's destructive path to destroy any target.
"Hey buddy…" Frank West was heard while tapping a nearby soldier.
"Hugh?" The Helghast Soldier turns around to see who's bothering him.
"Say cheese!/PUNCH!" Frank West then delivered a strong punch blow that ended up knocking the enemy down. "And lights out." Frank West he remarked from having gotten the upperhand in that one.
"Alright everyone, let's do this!" Red managed to approach the Pokemon before assuming his position. "Pickachu & Pichu – Thunderbolt!" He gave the order on a move to perform.
"PIKA/PI….CHUUUUUU!" Pikachu & Pichu channel electricity by their cheeks and released a yellow bolt from their bodies.
"BRizizizizizi…/WAAAAAAaahhhh…" Many Helghast Soldiers yelps from the electrical surge that was electrifying them.
"Lucario - BONE" Red then turns to give the next order for a counterattack.
"Raaaarrrr!" Lucario then clapped it's hands to summon a blue shape aura bone pole and saw he was surrounded until he spun around.
"KABAM!/WAAaaahhh!?" The next batch of Helghast Soldiers yelped from the explosive power impact that knock them several meters away.
"Greninja - ?" Red then gave another order out on another measure of attack: as the ninja frog formed water around the hands and made them into shurikans.
"SLASH!/Oooooohhh!?" That's when Greninja performed a fast action that sliced many Helghast across the chest and damage their weapons.
"Okay, Greninja, use water gun to put out the flames." Red gave another order as Greninja squirted water from the move to eliminate the flames around the woods.
"What are you fools waiting for!? CAPTURE THEM!" Colonel Redac snaps off at ordering his troops to deal with those making their army seem foolish.
"Deploy the Special Nets!" One of the Helghast Soldiers issued as troops prepared capture launcher nets to apprehend the wild Pokemon.
"You won't catch us a second time off guard!" Red declared on putting a stop to that act. "Jigglypuff – SING!" Red then turns to give the following order to the round pink creature.
"Jiggly!" Jigglypuff replied as it took a deep breath.
"Hugh, what's that pink thing doing?" Another Helghast Soldier asked puzzled by this action.
Jigglypuff: Jiggaly puff, jiggaly puff
Jiggaly puff, jiggaly….
"Aaaahh….I feel so tired?" One Helghast Soldier held his head from feeling strange.
"Can't…keep my eyes open?" Another Helghast Soldier was wobbling a bit before collapsing.
One by one, the Helghast Army was slowly collapsing, and they were heard snoring since apparently they fell asleep. With everything going on now that Red was freed, the Pokemon followed his orders to help deal with the extra Helghast Soldiers: be it damage or thinning the numbers. And with the rest of the other good guys pitching in, the situation was turning more into their favor.
"Are we winning this?" June asked from keeping herself out of the battle, but saw it's hardly an even fight.
"If we don't win, then the next front page story will be about what went down in Central Park." Agent Fowler firmly issued on what they wanna avoid from causing public panic.
"I can help give you a story, but hiding the truth won't always be a good thing." Frank West approached the two to offer some aid on what his profession is all about.
"Wait, where are Sam Snow and Kit Casey?" June asked from noticing there were some characters missing.
"I don't know?" Agent Fowler looked around, but didn't see where a snow leopard and fox characters went during a battle.
The scene shows where Sam Snow and Kit Casey were at. While everyone else was busy engaging the enemy, the two creature detectives were hard at work looking for where a jewel maybe hidden. That's when one of the flashes from explosions made something in the lake water reflect. Sam used little spheres that transform into helicopter drones to flew, scan and display a picture of something in the water: a Blue Emerald color jewel.
"Sam, look! It was in the water!" Kit Casey smiled from them finding the target.
"Good work Clue Bots." Sam smiled to thank his little drones for the aid. "It looks like the jewel was place in the lake, and it's blue color managed to camouflage. But from all the bright flashes, it reflected enough for us to see." Sam explained the theory on how this jewel was well hidden to be in the last place anyone would think of. "Ugh, that Nathan Drake may have been caution to hid it somewhere safe, but why water?" The guy moans a bit from wishing the object was not in a place to get wet.
"Relax, I got this." Kit Casey smiled to walk in the lake and reach down. "See Sam, I got it!" She smiled to pull up the blue emerald and show it to her partner.
"Ugh…" Sam Snow yelped backwards with worry while evading the splash water Kit made when turning around to show him her find.
"Oh come on Sam, I barely even splashed you?" Kit Casey smirks to feel like her partner was overreacting a bit.
"That's not it, look behind you?" Sam Snow exclaimed to point at something that really scared him more then getting wet.
"STOMP!" That's when something heavy landed behind Kit Casey, and she slowly looks back and upwards with a terrified expression. "RRRAAAAUUUURRRRRGH!" Metal Gear Ray was there, and it roared before gazing down at the little fox.
"AAAhh-AAaahhhh!?" Kit Casey screamed as she ran to leave the lake.
"RUUUUUNNN!" Sam Snow screamed as he pulled the fox out of the water and onto dry land.
Now we see Sam Snow and Kit Casey running through the thick trees. Too bad Metal Gear Ray was seen stomping and knocking those trees down while only slowing it down to a small amount. We spot Agent Fowler along with June Darby and Frank West on the scene to witness the events while everyone else dealt with the Helghast Army.
"The enemy's after them! And they have the emerald!?" Agent Fowler issued on the major situation that was present.
"We have to do something? That thing could kill them?" June felt bad, Sam Snow and Kit Casey are no match for something that dangerous
"You said they were cartoons, wouldn't that be impossible?" Frank West pondered to think for a second on the topic of that subject until… "But then again, nothing makes any sense anymore? For starters, can anything stop that weapon?" The guy knew that whatever logic anyone knew was out the door, and just stopping that Metal Gear was the real issue.
"Hmmm?" Agent Fowler looked around until he spotted something that was covered by some fallen branches. "Looks like we have our answer." He smiled to push the branches away to reveal some blocks.
"Blocks?" Frank West raise an eyebrow when seeing '?' mark blocks.
"Not just any blocks, POWER BLOCKS that contain a means to give us a power boost." Agent Fowler issued on what they have here is a game changer.
"That's right, like that one that let you fly!?" June exclaimed from remembering that event, sure she was endanger, but one can never forget that moment.
"Right, so while the others are handling the Helghast Army, we three will give that Metal Gear a surprise." Agent issued on having a plan and how they can use this moment to change the flow of battle.
Now Agent Fowler pass one block to Frank and June while keeping one to himself. When they tap it, something popped out of the cubes. The first two resemble some kind of flower with the usual green plant-base and dark pupil eyes within the white center but with major differences. One flower had yellow and red ring formation. The second flower had blue ring formation. Now the third item to appear was a red and white fruit, resembling an apple with an elephant frunk and ears, as well as two beady eyes. What came next was a bright flash of light from those that have touch the items or eaten the fruit before things went dark…
MEAWHILE
THE CENTER OF CENTRAL PARK
The scene opens to where Sam Snow and Kit Casey were running with fearful expression. And who could blame them when they heard the heavy stomps of a large metallic predator chasing them.
"Don't look back Kit!" Sam Snow shouted for his partner to focus on running, a single distraction could spell the end.
"I won't, I mean it's not like it's gonna fire laser eyes at us?" Kit Casey tried to think positive while on the run.
"GRAAARRRUUGH!" That's when Metal Gear RAY released a monstrous roar but a bright energy was happening from the mouth. "POWWWW…/BAAM!" That's when it fired a powerful laser beam that destroyed the area that stopped those running from escaping.
"Youwere saying about it not firing Laser Eyes?" Sam Snow looked to Kit worried from knowing they must have jinxed it earlier.
"Um, Laser Breath was my second thought?" Kit Casey sheepishly smile with a worried expression on her face.
"GRAAARRrughhh!" Metal Gear RAY was about to lunge it's jaws at the cornered agents when… "PUNCH!" Suddenly something large came and delivered a body tackle to the jaws of the metal beast. "CRASH!" Metal Gear RAY crashed it's side against the trees, creating a large cloud of dust.
When the dust was clearing, the rescuer that came was something even more strange. A plump, anthropomorphic elephant appeared, and it wore the same outfit as Agent Fowler. In fact it had the same eye color as the man. When the elephant man turns to look at Sam Snow and Kit Casey….
"You two alright?" The elephant man spoke with the same voice as Agent Fowler.
"Yeah, but who are you? You sound familiar to me?" Kit Casey asked from thinking she recognizes this elephant.
"Wait a second, that outfit…you couldn't be…" Sam Snow noticed the clues and began to put them together of who saved them.
"AGENT FOWLER!?" Sam & Kit exclaimed in shock upon knowing the elephant hero, was the human Agent Fowler: but how?
"But how are you….when did you…exactly what is going on?" Sam Snow was the first to ask a bunch of questions on how this was possible.
"Sorry, we found some Power Blocks, and we each got a power. Now we about even the Plainfield." Agent Fowler explained the manner of having obtain the items from the Mario Universe to give them strength.
"Wait, by we…what do you mean?" Kit Casey asked from not knowing what that meant, was there possibly more then one.
"See for yourself." Agent Fowler points ahead of them to where the enemy machine was at.
"GRAAAUUURRGHHH!" Metal Gear RAY rose back up to roar forth at the elephant opponent, and was about to launch a missile barrage when… "Bam-Bam-Bam…/Frrusshhh…" Out of nowhere, fireballs explode to knock the machine beast down and ice was forming to pin the Metal Gear in place. That's when two more figures appeared, it was Frank West and June Darby only they were different yet still physically the same. Frank West's outfit had a more red suit and white shirt theme and he was producing fireballs. June Darby had a red and blue theme of her outfit while forming a sparkling blue sphere with an icy frost mist.
"They have powers!?" Sam Snow yelped upon seeing those that could do something impossible.
"Ice and Fire, yep. You could say it's the luck of the draw." Agent Fowler stated on knowing this action came from each of them having made a lucky draw at the moment.
"Oh, does that mean you got to be an elephant from that draw?" Kit Casey asked from understanding how the measurement of what they are seeing makes sense.
"Ehhh, in truth I was hoping for something better?" Agent Fowler shrug off his shoulders to admit this thing with a sheepish expression.
"Beggars can't be choosers." Sam Snow shrug off his shoulders that sometimes, you get what you get even by random draws: then around the corner he spotted something that stuck out a bit which was…a Power Block object. "Hey, is this the block you were talking about?" The guy asked from thinking it was a mysterious cube with a question mark.
"Yeah, I know that there's a lot of them scatter all over the world. But them just popping out, I can't tell if it's good or bad depending on who else knows." Agent Fowler responded while they are still trying to make sense of things but also feared if others know what these blocks are and what they can do.
"Well let's see what power up we get!" Kit Casey declared as she pound the cube and it popped something out: mushroom with beady eyes and a blue theme with white spots.
"A Mushroom?...Curious, I don't have any intel on it?" Sam Snow raised an eyebrow when seeing something like this for the first time.
"Oh, does this one give powers too?" Kit Casey asked from hoping it's something great.
"Well if it was a Red Mushroom, it could make you a bit bigger and take an extra hit from enemies. Heck there's even one to enlarge you to enormous size." Agent Fowler explained the basic principle powers behind the mushroom types. "But sometimes not all are good. This Blue Mushroom makes you about as small as a mouse." The elephant man explains what this mushroom can do which doesn't seem impressive.
"Makes you tiny, how's that gonna help against a giant machine?" Sam Snow asked from thinking this power-up can't help them.
"Hmmm?" Kit Casey was rubbing her chin to think for a minute. "Think it can work for a machine?" She turns to ask a big question on the spot.
"Ahh….I'm not sure?" Agent Fowler was unable to answer that question.
"Well, in a crazy world, maybe crazy logic is the way to go. Kit, let's try to give the others a hand." Sam Snow issued on deciding to take a chance and test this theory of theirs.
"Right Sam!" Kit Casey smiled with confidence on deciding their plan of action.
Now we focus on the battle happening around Metal Gear RAY, as it broke free of it's frozen state. Frank West and June were trying to keep the enemy at bay as long as possible. But even if one freezes it, the machine will break free. And when it launches missiles, the fireball shots can only take out so many. It's even harder when evading the laser breath move this Metal Gear was dishing out.
"We been hitting this thing left and right, and the damage is only this much?" Frank West issued on seeing their efforts are showing, but it's very slow.
"I keep freezing to slow it down, but it breaks the ice almost as fast as it becomes solid?" June stated on trying to stop this machine but it just keeps on going.
"You two, lead it over here!" Agent Fowler was heard waving it out to those engaging the metal beast. "Hurry!" As he said this, June and Frank West distracted the robot to run to meet the elephant man.
"What are you doing?" June asked from wondering what was going on: then saw Sam Snow and Kit Casey getting into a position.
"We got a plan, trust us!" Agent Fowler confirms to June that they have everything under control.
"Normally I question my source to make sure it's the real deal, but I think it's best to make an acceptation." Frank West decides it's best not to argue when they are low on options.
"GRRAAAUUURRRHHHH!" Metal Gear RAY roared as it leaps in the air and prepares to attack by stomping it's prey.
That's when Metal Gear RAY was unaware that Sam Snow and Kit Casey hidden in the trees had one stand above the other's shoulders, and used the Clue Bots like a lasso rope. And when they let go the spinning spheres moved, and then one threw the other off, and then it threw…the Blue Mushroom into the metal beast's mouth. When the Clue Bots flew away, that's when a strange reaction occurred. The glow around the machine was noticed, and it began….to shrink down!? After the process was over, Metal Gear RAY slams on the ground, and prepares to attack….except it's not tiny-size!?
"Grrraaaurrrrhh…." The tiny Metal Gear RAY roared, as it unleashed tiny missiles and fired another laser breath move. Course those attacks hit Agent Fowler's foot, but with the elephant thick skin, it barely felt like a tickle. "STOMP!/BREAK!" And so Agent Fowler used his heavy size to stomp the little machine and break it: when removing the foot, saw the Metal Gear in broken pieces.
"Wow, talk about putting your foot down?" Kit Casey smiled as she and her partner came down from the trees to witness this act.
"I'm surprised that worked? Right?" Sam Snow asked from hoping this plan had no setbacks.
Then suddenly the glow appeared around Metal Gear RAY, and it was growing back to normal giant size. It was enough to knock back the elephant size Agent Fowler to roll to the others. But when it was over, they saw Metal Gear RAY was unable to function, and it's process systems were shutting down from taking on too much excessive damage.
"Whoops, forgot…anyone that takes those Power Ups, if they receive damage that hurts them…they return to their original forms." Agent Fowler sheepishly rubs the back of his head: having forgotten such a basic Mario gamer's fact.
"And considering you stepped on it, I was worried if we fight it again?" June stated on fearing what would have happen if even that didn't finish the enemy off.
"Luckily it only return to normal, but as a busted up piece of junk now." Frank West smiled from seeing the job was completed, and that's what matters.
With the defeat of Metal Gear RAY, everyone could feel a slow calm relief build up. Once things calm down a bit, did everyone gather around especially when the sounds of fighting were over. Which meant the threat against the Helghast Army was settled somehow.
"Great work everyone." Agent Fowler looked to everyone around to praise them on having done their best. "If things got out of hand, would have been a real panic in the Big Apple." The man was glad they kept as much of what could have lead to mass panic to a minimum, anything else and even with the government's aid to keep things hush-hush,, someone would have noticed what went down.
"I'm just glad we could be helpful. You even helped the Pokemon, and they appreciate it. Right guys?" Red smiled to say this, as there were a lot of Pokemon making animal sounds to reply in agreement.
"The next big story is put on the shelf, story of my life." Frank West shrug off his shoulders on how the scoop of the century is not meant to be. "Well at least it feels good we took this thing down. So what about the enemy that was controlling it?" Frank West asked from looking at the wreck Metal Gear and where it's controllers were.
"After seeing they lost their weapon, Colonel Redac ordered his troops to retreat. They deployed smoke bombs to cover their tracks." Strider explained the events of what took place once Metal Gear RAY was no more, the Helghast Soldiers escaped. "They seem capable of fitting in the darkness as much as I would." He issued that the enemy was good at hiding away, makes them difficult to find if they launch surprise attacks with those dark outfits worn during the night.
"Well, at least we're all safe. And we made some new friends." June lightly smiled to look at the bright side of the situation.
"I have so many questions right now? I experienced many dangers, but this…tops it all." Nathan Drake scratch the back of his head to admit this was all well over his field of expertise, including the different crossover characters that some aren't from his world.
"Well, there's a lot to talk about, to you and everyone else that got drag into this." Agent Fowler issued to understand where Nathan Drake was coming from.
"Chu…?" Then everyone heard Pikachu and Pichu as Kit Casey was gently rubbing under their chins.
"Kit!? What are you doing? They produce electricity and can zap you?" Sam Snow yelps from seeing how crazy his partner was doing with creatures they know nothing about.
"Aww, but they are so cute, I couldn't help myself?" Kit Casey sheepishly smiled to admit that she feel for the charm of such cute little critters. "Oh, here…we got this as you wanted." Then she gets up to give the emerald to the agent man.
"Never thought I be hold a Chaos Emerald, it's certainly a sight to see." Agent Fowler expressed his thoughts on what he was holding.
"Well sir, you secured one of those emeralds." Fred smiled to give praise to help ease Agent Fowler's concerns.
"Yes, one down and only six to go." Agent Fowler issued on knowing how many more emerald jewels are left to find from the world of Sonic the Hedgehog.
"Like, six more? Gulp…Won't that mean…" Shaggy swallowed hard from sounding a bit worried there…
"More Runsters!? Oh Nooo!?" Scooby-Doo yelps from shaking his knees and hiding behind Shaggy as they cower in fear.
"We're use to solving mysterious, but this time it may involve things even we may have problems with." Daphne looked to the others from knowing they can handle solving mysterious, but this case had more danger then anyone would believe.
"Sadly from what our instruments read, just one of these emeralds can power up a city, or two, maybe half a dozen. Imagine if all seven fell into the wrong hands." Velma expressed her thoughts on the serious danger that awaits if they don't stop any evil hands from obtaining power to cause who knows what damage.
"Yeah, I can pretty much guess what disaster comes if anyone obtain this much power." Frank West firmly agrees to the subject, he's seen plenty of when military personal wanted to weaponized zombies for war.
"Power can lead to corruption if one does not control it." Strider firmly nods his head, to confirm that such is the way life develops in anyone's heart shrouded in darkness.
"Well either way, that was the most busting we done since we got here." T-Bone issued on claiming how it felt good to trash something, baddies are a perfect source for that.
"Yeah, maybe we can salvage some spare parts and make even cooler rides." Razor looked at the destroyed scrap of Metal Gear and thought up some ideas.
"We can do that after I call to have some field teams cover this entire park." Agent Fowler issued on what should be taken as priority one. "In the meantime, we best get this Chaos Emerald back to base and keep it secure." The guy stated when showing the glowing blue emerald to the crowd.
"Yeah, treasure like this can get a lot of people's attention. That's why I hid it when those soldiers mention they found it and it caused a weird electrical problem with some instruments. Snatched it the first chance I got and hid it before I was caught." Nathan Drake explained what happen to him on how this whole thing sorta got started.
"I have no doubt about it, you did the right thing trying to keep it out of their hands." Agent Fowler praises Nathan Drake for what he did to prevent evil from misusing such power.
"I hate to say it, but this was…kinda exciting." June smiled a bit from wanting to admit something from the adrenaline of surviving from such close danger encounter. "I kinda find having this power to be…interesting?" She issued as she started to display the ice power.
"Yeah, but I rather get back to normal." Agent Fowler issued to say from looking over his current state; being in an elephant form.
"Aw you sure, you look really nice." Kit Casey felt that the agent was alright and not bad from another animal's perspective.
"Hello, the guy's literally an ELEPHANT right now?" Frank West issued on knowing if someone was human, they rather be normal: heck, some even wish a zombie can return to being human if it can be done.
"I don't know, might be an improvement to how he fights now." Razor scratch his chin to analyze how well Agent Fowler was during this battle.
"It certainly will make him popular when going to the zoo." T-Bone cracks a smile to joke on where an elephant man can get more famous.
"Look, I'm not gonna keep it, okay. I just need to apply the method to change back." Agent Fowler firmly explains the matter of what's gonna happen to one that has taken an item from the Power Box object.
"So, you can change back? How?" Sam Snow asked from trying to understand what the topic was getting to.
"Ugh, the method is painful, but for the sakes of being attack by another enemy, some of us may have to maintain our current use of the Power Blocks we luckily drew." Agent Fowler moans a bit from knowing the answer, but may have to hold off doing it under their current situation. "Hugh…Even being an elephant, I just hope no one sees me like this for a while." He signs to slap his forehead, not wanting anyone he knows to see this next funny sight.
"Relax, we can give you a hand. And you give us…" June tries to perk up the man's mojo here. "Ugh…A trunk?" She shrug off her shoulders to nervously go with that line.
"Not gonna lie, I'm actually glad I didn't get the elephant power." Nathan Drake scratch his back neck from being thankful he never obtain something as turning into an animal.
"Hmmm…I hear noises?" Strider narrow his eyes to where everyone saw…flashing red and blue lights with a loud siren noise.
"Sounds like the police are arriving?" Frank West stated on knowing the sounds of authority: well he's been through doing things under the law when it came to photojournalist stuff in his world.
"Zoinks! We better like, split man!?" Shaggy yelps from knowing this can't be good for them.
"Yeah!" Scooby-Doo replied in agreement to Shaggy's suggestion.
"Quickly, everyone back to the vehicles!" Agent Fowler instructs everyone on the procedure to perform here.
That's when everyone had to quickly rush back to their vehicles that were parked nearby. Soon the Heater and the Mystery Machine were driving off before the police cars arrived on the scene.

SOMEWHERE ELSE AT THIS TIME
The scene opens to reveal the Helghast Army having long ventured into some dark corner by a vacate lot before opening a manhole cover. The army escapes into the sewers before following the path that would lead them to another part of the city. The army managed to pop another manhole to find themselves in some junkyard area.
"Grrrr…." Colonel Redac did not sound too pleased with their situation after what happen.
"Colonel, what are your orders?" A soldier approaches the colonel to await instructions.
"We thought that until we regroup with the other Helghast units, we seize control of this area to prepare for their arrival?" A second Helghast Soldier asked from knowing their original purpose when thrown into an unknown land: seize control of course.
"Yes, sadly we ran into a problem." Colonel Redac remarks on how they could make a fortune was cut short. "Problem so big that the weapon we found lying around, was destroyed. And not by ordinary people." The colonel was in deep thought on the subject on those they encountered.
"Yes sir, there were some that seem more mutated then us?"
"I wouldn't go so far as to say they are like us, they are more an unnatural evolution then what we have become!" Colonel Redac "None of them were I.S.A., they may be residents of this world or more. For now we need a new approach, we need intel on our enemies?" He held his chin to ponder this information very carefully before they make another careless mistake.
"Perhaps I can assist you?" Another voice was heard, but this one sounded more cheery.
That's when the Helghast Army turned to notice a stranger leaning against a black Big Red truck. It was Handsome Jack giving a little friendly smile hello wave off to the evil army without so much as batting an eye when the army aim their weapons at the uninvited guest.
"Who are you?" Colonel Redac coldly addresses someone that dares to stand before their army.
"Name's Jack….Handsome Jack. I'm working with those that have the intel you are missing." Handome Jack grins to boost about those backing him up and they can be helpful: especially to new travelrs.
"And why should we believe a word you say, this could be a trick by the Earth people to lower our guard." Colonel Redac demands a more solid piece of evidence to start trusting this stranger.
"Oh it's no trick, you see you're not originally from here. You got transported. Same as those other guys you came across?" Handsome Jack revealed some very intriguing details that may interest those here.
That did have the troops of the Helghast Army stop to look to another to ponder in confusion. But Colonel Redac found this as an act of distracting them and had them focus on obeying orders then waste time thinking.
"You drive our patients, speak of what business you have before our army of the Helghast Empire?" Colonel Redac demands an answer or they will resort to other methods to get what they want.
"Anyway, I work with MECH, we're a group looking to expand a takeover. And on a planet-wide scale." Handsome Jack smiled to reveal what he and others have plans for this world. "Are you fellas interested?" He asked from knowing world conquerors when he sees them.
"And what would you gain out of this?" Colonel Redac asked from being suspicious of Handsome Jack's unknown willingness to help them.
"I'm a businessman, but I can tell you that MECH and you can speed up your agendas by combing your techs to make one side stronger over the other." Handsome Jack exp[ained the basic concept of when two sides work to achieve feats never seen when on their own. "And you especially want the advantage against stronger alien lifeforms." He issued on knowing how the Helghast Army had it's problems against…unknown lifeforms.
"Alien lifeforms?/What does he mean?/I'm not sure?" The soldiers repeated and questioned from wondering what this man meant.
"You speak as if there were outside life?" Colonel Redac asked from trying to figure out Handsome Jack's angle. "But tell me, can you prove that we are on the same side?" He asked as he approached and aim a weapon to threaten the man that if he lies…that's the end of their talk.
Handsome Jack simply steps aside and wave his hands towards…his truck. At first the Helghast Army saw nothing special of a basic ground vehicle. But then they saw the vehicle transforming, and soon it became a giant robot figure before their very eyes.
"Meet Nemesis, he was made here, but he's already got the intel on what's happening." Handsome Jack revealed a bit more surprise info on what their big ally here has given. "And we got a powerful artifact that can bring us greater power then you ever imagine? So what do you say…interested now?" The man was shrew in what words to get anyone to see the bigger picture was right for the taking.
"If this great power you wish to share then let me be clear." Colonel Redac spoke with a firm and serious tone of his voice. "Give us the power to help the Helghast Empire conquer our war, and we shall aid you." He set his terms and as long as they are meant, they will become allies.
"Then it looks like, we have a deal." Handsome Jack smiled as he and the colonel shook hands.
"Make no mistake, we are allies, yes… But double cross us, and you will regret it." Colonel Redac gave a cold threat of what happens if anyone betrays them.
"Wouldn't dream of it." Handsome Jack smiled with confidence that such a thing won't happen.
Now as this little partnership was going down, within Nemesis Prime's optics, a familiar digital bald head frame was seen. But then as it was seen in one eye, the other eye was displaying photo information about the Chaos Emerald through the MECH database. As the scene darkens, a new mission objective was notified: 'Find And Secure Chaos Emeralds'
NOTED: The Heater is like the Heat, which is the two-story celebrity trailer own by Will Smith.
Now the action of defeating a giant enemy like Metal Gear RAY was inspired from the Super Mario Bros. Movie 2023 where Bowser was fed a blue mushroom (Mini Mushroom from the series) and shrank down to a helpless size. So I thought it be funny to imagine everyone's surprise if the same thing happen to a giant-size enemy.
*Also it did dawn to me, would the Power-Ups from the Mario series also work for machines? Well it's hard to say, it maybe possible if maybe Metal Mario from Smash Bros. series took something to grow big. Again, it's uncertain, but it's fun to imagine. Especially if they have a mouth and can eat it without knowing what happens next.

Well this was exciting to see and just think what excitement awaits for the others. In the next chapter, we find Jack and his team about to embark on their own mission to find a powerful Chaos Emerald. Good news is that they know where to find one, but news is that it's in a very hard place to get in: Fort Knox! And with recent security measurements of unknown thefts, talking it out seems impossible. So now it's time for a little breaking and entering. But things are never so easy when unexpected problems arise. Especially when the good guys have to stop other cross dimension crooks and villains from stealing a fortune. How are they gonna achieve this, and who's gonna help out? Better stay tune to find out, until then…enjoy…
