Well folks I tried to get this one ready, and I tried to think up some whacky stuff, namely characters with maybe some island theme. And there are a few elements and surprises that I think will blow the imagination out the door. So what are you waiting for, come see what sort of CROSSOVER Madness we got in store. Apparently there is some email alert malfunction on fanfiction. So while I'm hoping it gets fix soon cause without it, it doesn't alert me on my side on updates, and it doesn't alert anyone of a new chapter update. Chapter 10: Cross Match Team – Part 5
SOMEWHERE OFF THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC
The scene reveals a military helicopter flying over the ocean area. And then it arrives at a strange island or rather, islands…that are somehow conjoined into an oddly manner that's not much a natural thing to see. There were even two islands that were tall of one of natural mountain and the other was constructed it's outer appearance with a gator-like appeal. As the helicopter landed on the island, we spot who was getting off was Vogal followed by members of TEAM SALVAGE: Jak, Daxter, The Mario Brothers and Kirby. Vogal was seen carrying a little energy radar device, but he took a moment to look around at the scenery.
"Wow, who have guessed we get chosen to inspect a weird island that wasn't on the map and showed up out of nowhere?" Vogal exclaimed on looking around to see the sites.
"Clearly the ones who got the short straw." Daxter muttered this to Jak on his thoughts on their assignment.
"Come on Daxter, thought you liked adventure?" Jak smiled to pat Daxter on the back to lighten up.
"I do, adventure where we know what we're getting into. And between you and me, our team seems a little…off?" Daxter issued on having something to say, especially when looking at what they got to work with. "Between a big guy with only tunnel experience, two plumbers and a pink puffball that the only thing they share is eating pasta meals." Daxter issued on making his point across of the team they are stuck with.
"Poyo!" Kirby smiled to happily wave out his arms.
"Say Mario, maybe we should just you know, say we found the island and await for backup to help in our search." Luigi sheepishly smile nervously in thinking of an excuse to not investigate this place.
"Relax Luigi, we're the advance team. All we gotta do is find one jewel and be out of here before you know it." Mario smiled with confidence to know the only thing they gotta do is look around and that's all.
Suddenly there were loud jungle animal cries followed by even louder roars of a gorilla.
"Hey fellas, according to this thing we got before we left, the weirdo energy reading is coming from in there." Vogal points to where the device is reacting strongly towards the jungle center.
"Great, we're going TOWARDS the scary roar sounds." Daxter rolled his eyes upon knowing this can spell only one thing: trouble.
"I'll take point, everyone else stay close behind me." Jak issued as he pulled out a rifle and charged it up, ready for any surprises.
"Hmmm?" Kirby looked at the jungle, and then he spotted bananas behind some thick bushes and it was a lot. "POYO!" Kirby happily jumped up before dashing towards the tasty meal piled almost 200 or so…
"Hey Kirby, where are you going?" Luigi asked from seeing the little pink puffball run so fast on such short legs.
"He's gone bananas for bananas!" Mario points from seeing Kirby was targeting a pack of bananas.
Then as Kirby was reaching for the bananas, something plow through the batch and knock the pink puffball towards the group. As everyone ready for what seem to be an enemy attack, they were meant with a surprise of what came forth were…apes?
First was a bulky gorilla with brown fur and a bulky build, and wears a red tie with 'DK' initials on it.
Second was a small size spider monkey ape with brown fur, brown eyes, and a distinctive monkey tail. Wears a red tank top with yellow stars on it, and a red cap with the Nintendo logo on it.
Third was a small size spider monkey ape of similar color but was a girl who worn a pink top with a tied knot in the middle, along with a matching pink beret. The most notable feature is the blonde hair that's usually tied in a long, banana shaped ponytail and also has long, twirled sideburns.
Fourth was a smaller and scrawnier old grandpa type ape. Has a long white beard, wears a sweater of varying colors, as well as a small pair of glasses and has one wooden cane with him.
Fifth was a gorilla ape with light brown fur, wears a pair of purple shades over the eyes. Wears a red polka-dot bandana, light blue rip ankle shorts wth a black belt and sleeveless white tank top shirt plus sandals.
Sixth was an orange fur orangutan with long arms that trail along the ground. Has a red nose and bright blue eyes. Wears blue overalls, with a white shirt that is too small for him, and on the back, has a red and white patch. The buttons on the overalls are yellow. The face shows a goofy and absent-mindset expression.
Seventh was a slightly taller than a the muscle gorillas, but only near inches to be taller then the spider-monkeys. Wears a colorful beanie, blue top with a flower on it, along with matching blue sweatpants and orchid sandals. Wears makeup consisting of magenta eyeshadow and painted nails, and has accessories like jumbo earrings and white fur wristbands.
Eighth was a gorilla with dark brown fur and brown eyes. Wears a black belt with a short sleeve white shirt and blue vest with left pockets and two yellow buttons on the right, and lastly a red cap.
"Yikes! We're being ambushed…By APES!?" Daxter panics to crawl up Jak's leg onto his shoulder to point at the threat.
"Hey wait a second, I know these kind of apes." Vogal steps up to stop everyone while inspecting the apes in question. "Oh yeah, from that game I played as a kid along with the Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Country was the name." The guy remembers a game with such ape characters, and they relate to the plumbers to boot.
"Wait, you played us?" Luigi raise an eyebrow, finding that a little strange.
"Ehh, we were a game in another world bro., of course it makes sense to him." Mario shrug off to not be bothered by such technical issues that raise more questions then answers. "But wait, these guys don't look like the Kongs we meant? And Donkey Kong, do you recognize me?" Mario recognized the ape but thought there was something strange about him.
"Oh-oh!?" The gorilla with a tie replied in confusion while speaking in ape talk.
"Oh that might be because these are the ones from the games, not the…um, other franchise like the new movie…I think?" Vogal scratch his head to try to spell this out of logic as best he can.
"They made a movie about us?" Luigi asked from thinking that's also a shocking thing to hear.
"From games to show business." Mario comment on how they really are getting to be well-known.
"Oh-oh, Ah-Ah…" The Kongs were each making monkey-like sounds as if talking.
"Does anyone know what they are saying?" Jak asked those if they understand what these apes said.
"Jak, do I look like I speak ape to you? I'm an Ottsel, not a Monkey!" Daxter remarked to say that just cause he's an animal, doesn't mean he knows what such creatures are saying to him.
"Let me see if my memory serves me right, these guys are Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Dixie Kong, Kranky Kong, Funky Kong, Lanky Kong, Tiny Kong, and Chunky Kong." Vogal points to ach different ape and address them by name.
"That's…a lot of KONGS!?" Daxter replied in being shock by how many apes all have the same last kong name.
"Looks like they been in a fight, but against what?" Jak raise a firm eyebrow from noticing the rough condition these apes must have gone through.
Suddenly the answer came as explosions occurred before there were loud screams in the air. And then many little creatures fell across the open beach before Vogal's group saw what they were. Anthropomorphic, stout rabbits with big round eyes and a large mouth. They stand around 3 feet tall, with their ears accounting for one meter of their height. Having two large incisors, but no other teeth visible.
"GYAAaahhh! What are these things? RABBITS!?" Daxter screamed from looking terrified at such weird creatures.
"Close, I remember hearing about these guys, they're called Rabbids. With a 'D' at the end." Vogal explained his knowledge about what type of weirdo rabbits these guys are.
"Great, sure makes it easy to know what we're labelling here?" Daxter rolled her eyes from thinking this makes it all the more interesting.
"Bwwaaahhh-Hahaha!/Daaaahhh!" The Rabbids came out of the sand and were making loud cries and behaving in weird manners of whacky, silly, destructive, almost like they didn't mind and doing whatever without a care.
"Gee, you think about falling from an explosion, they be more concern?" Mario scratch his head from seeing how these guys act like what happen wasn't a big deal.
"Funny thing, Rabbids are said to be indestructible, and they can cause a lot of mayhem." Vogal exclaimed on recalling something about these bunnies to take consideration about them.
"Oh no! And there's a lot of them? What do we do?" Luigi gasped from thinking these guys must be bad news.
"Relax, they're not bad, at least…not anymore?" Vogal waved off to calm the green plumber down of his worries…at least to his knowledge. "Anyway, I remember they came from a game series from the main character was called…?"
"Guuuagh!?" Then something else was seen coming out of the sand from the other Rabbids that fell from the sky and moan from the action. This one was a limbless humanoid-like creature with yet unknown species. A male left without legs, arms and a neck, and the body parts in fact just float around the body. Has strawberry-blonde hair, cream skin, a huge round nose, white eyes with dark blue pupils. The attire is white gloves, a purple torso with a symbol of a large white ring, and a red neckerchief on the top of it, and wears shoes which are typically white and yellow-colored, and he also has a set of white clean teeth.
"Hold it, what are you suppose to be?" Jak threatens the weird creature with a gun pointed at him.
"Other then being shorthanded on, well…hands and legs with actual limbs?" Daxter remarks on seeing this guy was literally, some freak that is even freakier then him.
"Woah-woah, take it easy. I'm no enemy, I'm…" The guy stood up to hold up his hands to express his concerns to appear not a threat when…
"Ray Man! That's the guy! He's the hero and these Rabbids came from his world and apart of the same game franchise." Vogal spoke up on having recognize who Ray Man was right on the spot.
"Yeah, exactly…." The one called Ray Man smiled as he gently pushed Jak's weapon away with his status revealed. "But listen, there's no time for this right now. We're under attack by some major enemies. They're a group lead by two big shots that resemble a turtle who breaths fire and a reptile with a crown..." The guy explained a major situation that was happening and described those responsible.
"Hey Mario, you don't think the turtle breathing fire is…?" Luigi whispered this with worry to his brother.
"If it is Bowser, then we're in major trouble." Mario exclaimed from knowing the first enemy all too well.
"Say, a reptile with a crown, I think I know him too." Vogal tap his chin to think this for a moment.
"ooooh-Ooohhh!" Donkey Kong made loud sounds from knowing the describe individual as well.
"Poyo?" Kirby raise an eyebrow from seeing the ape go a bit wild.
"Anyone wanna fill us in?" Jak asked from not wanting to be excluded from what's being talk about.
"Well it sounds like two of the main villains from the plumbers and Kongs worlds. Bowser, King of the Koopas. And King K Rool, ruler of the Kremlings." Vogal revealed the truth on who the two mention villains are. "If those two are working together and have an army, then this is bad." Even the big guy who played the games knows if two villains like that team up, it won't be good.
"Get's worse, they are aided by some mad scientist to capture other residents that oppose them with some mutant army. They even captured some other folks along with mushroom people and their princess." Ray Man explained more of the matter of who else was in trouble by two opposing viallins.
"PRINCESS PEACH!?" Mario and Luigi cried out together with a shock expression.
"Mamma Mia! What do we do now?" Luigi asked his brother of their next move under such conditions.
"Wait, I got an idea. Have you seen any blocks with question symbols lying around?" Mario asked Ray Man if there are other things laying around on the island.
"Well yeah, they're scattered all over. Why?" Ray Man shrug off to admit there are a few such things.
"Well…how's about we fight that army, with our own." Mario smiled from having got a plan to turn the tides.
"With what, apes and bunnies?" Daxter raise an eyebrow from seeing their group plus the new characters don't look like they can fight a whole army from two join villain groups.
"Oh I see, them Power Blocks can give us a power up. And that might give us the upper-hand." Vogal realized what Mario was suggesting, and it may just work. "And hey, if we find a Super Star, then it's a guarantee win." Vogal stated on what else could help increase their victory in such a situation.
"Well, sounds like our odds might have just rose a bit, what say you Dax?" Jak smiled to look to Daxter to hear if he's in.
""Ugh, fine…if we're gonna rush into danger, lets rush while bashing blocks and hoping we get cool powers." Daxter signed to give in when seeing he couldn't argue his way out of this.
"POYO!" Kirby cheered with a big smile and jump into the air.
With that we hear the Kongs cheering and the Rabbids making loud sounds in the background. It was time for a revolution, and boy was it crazy on what was gonna happen next…
SOMEWHERE ON THE MERGE ISLANDS
The scene opens directly near what was the main Crocodile Isle base. And on a constructive stage, there were two thrown chairs with two figures sitting on each one.
The one on the right was a large, dragon-like creature, which it's race is close to turtle-like beings. Has large lips with sharp teeth, yellow and green scales, lines on the stomach, and sharp claws. Recognizable features are the spiked shell, red mane, horns and spiked cuffs. His height is almost two to three times the size of a normal average size human.
The one to the left was a somewhat humanoid anatomy crocodile with light green scales, a right brown eye and a large bloodshot left eye. Wears a red cape, a gold crown, and gold wrist cuffs. Seen as an obese, has an outie belly button, and gynaecomastia, although has broad shoulders and the arms and legs are clearly bulging with well-toned muscles. He does display a large, fat, round body, has 3 long jagged teeth protruding from each side of the upper jaw as well as some smaller fangs from the lower part, has three toes, four fingers and has a short tail.
Suddenly a familiar figure was seen flying on a rocket pack, and it was actually Dr. Neo Cortex himself.
"Ah Bowser, King of the Koopas…and King K. Rool, Leader of the Kremling Krew…have my little mutants been helpful?" Dr. Neo Cortex smiled to make a little conversation on the progress of things.
"Hmph, they have been. And thanks to them, we nearly conquered this island." King K. Rool huffs to expression his slightly thrill tone on accepting help from Cortex.
"Yes, and with our armies, none have managed to stop us! And at long last, I have Princess Peach beside me." Bowser made an evil smile to look towards the other prize they obtain.
Then near the corner of the thrown stage structure, was a large crowd-size cage that had those imprisoned. The one who seem to be the leader stood out from the crowd. A young human girl with blonde waist-length hair, blue eyes with long eyebrows. Has a pair of round sky-blue earrings. The torso is a pink dress that has a cyan jewel on the chest along with a pair of long white gloves. Wears leggings underneath the dress with pink heel shoes.
The other was a short human-like boy with white skin and black dotted eyes. Wears a blue vest, white pants, and light brown shoes, plus carries a brown backpack. Has teeth and lastly the main attraction is a red spotted and white mushroom on the head. And behind this one were other members of the mushroom people with different color vest and spots on their mushroom hats, plus some were girls with long hair styles.
"You have me and Toad, but you two won't get away with this!" Princess Peach protest on knowing the villains will not win.
"Yeah, just wait till Mario hears this, then you'll be sorry!" Toad proclaimed on knowing what hero will put a stop to this evil plot.
"Hah, as if anyone can stop us!" Bowser laughs out from knowing not even a pesky plumber that bested him last time, will win again not with his new allies.
"Well, there maybe one problem to not be overlooked." Dr. Neo Cortex sheepishly taps his fingers together with a guilty expression. "During a mission my unit was defeated by this world's resident teaming up with other heroes. If they arrive on this island, we need to strike first BEFORE they catch us by surprise." The evil scientist knew he can't afford anymore mistakes after the failed Fort Knox mission.
"Oh please, look around you and behold!" King K. Rool exclaimed from standing up along with Bowser to approach the stage. "The measure of our army-threefold!" Kritter King declared to wave his arms out from anno8uncing this proud fact.
"YEAAAAHHH!" And down below the constructive stage, were a vast size army of many different creatures: humanoid or anthropomorphic, in all shapes and sizes.
"MY KREMLING OF KRITTERS!" K. Rool called forth to address groups of green bipeds, having vertical pupils, red eyes, yellow pectoral, arms, 4 fingers, 3 toes with sharp toenails and a tail.
"Yeaaaaahhh!" The Kritters cheered from hearing their leader praise them.
"NECKIES AND ZINGERS!" King K. Rool roared forth to show what flew over head were vultures and a mix species of wasps and bees.
"DON'T FORGET MY ARMY OF KOOPAS!" Bowser announced to look at the anthropomorphic turtles with yellow skin, green eyes, and a matching tan shell and bottom feet plus many with unique color theme shoes and top back shells.
"Yeaaaaaahhh!" The Koopa Troopas were heard cheering from getting pumped up by their ruler's encouraging words.
"GOOMBAS! PIRANHA PLANTS" Bowser announced to those that resemble brown mushroom heads with faces of eyes and mouth with two teeth from the bottom lip and had two feet and lastly plants with red and white spotted jaw mouths as they cheered in their own way. "And whatever your mutants are…" Bowser addresses the next group that were not part of his or K Rool's armies with little enthusiasm.
"Awwww…?" The anthropomorphic creatures moan from feeling heart broken about what they heard. One was a potoroo with brown fur, slicked-back hair, short ears, yellow eyes, dark eyebrows, and dark markings around the eyes, plus a long snout; wears a red suit over a green undershirt, a black tie, and black dress shoes and carries a Thompson submachine gun. Second was a blue kangaroo with floppy ears, bushy eyebrows, sharp teeth, a lolling tongue, and yellow spiral-patterned eyes that represent insanity. The fur around the muzzle and chest, inside the ears, and on the underside of the tail is a lighter shade of blue than the rest of the creature. Arms were bound by a white straitjacket, so moves around by bouncing on the powerful legs. Third was an orange, muscular creature with sharp fangs and pointed claws. Wears spiked shoulder pads, metal bracelets, a green leopard-spotted loincloth, and red sneakers. A grey anthropomorphic koala with a heavily muscular upper body and thin legs. Small eyes, round black ears with pink insides, and virtually no neck. Wears a red sleeveless top with long mustard-colored pants. Wears spike black cuffs, a spiked black belt with a skull symbol on the front. Lastly were two green anthropomorphic komodo dragons with blue-green brow ridges and spiny tails plus carry one scimitar with them. Wearing spiked Ottoman-styled helmets, indigo Arab shemaghs, purple robes with solid golden hems, and plain white undershirts. One is thinner and slightly taller than the other, and has prominent cheeks and a wide snout with two protruding fangs at the end, and also has three-toed feet. The second is a heavyset character with a short nose and a large underbite. Has a small beard and two-toed feet.
"Ugh, I've already told you who they are!?" Dr. Neo Cortex slapped his forehead from having to remind these villains or his henchmen. "That's Pinstripe Potoroo, Ripper Roo, Tiny Tiger, Koala Kong, the Komodo Brothers Joe & Moe. Honestly, how can you not keep up with names?" The guy introduced each one present but was still surprised by the lack of remembering such basic names.
"Oh nevermind such trivial things, what matters is that we are almost done. Soon we shall conquer this conjoin island of our worlds. And then…THE WORLD!" Bowser brushed aside such things while making a proud claim on what awaits them next.
The armies were all soon cheering with excitement to hear they can rule the world and do whatever they want with it. Then without warning, an alarm was going off followed by some tiny explosions that cause a disturbance.
"What's going on? Who dares to attack!?" K. Rool asked from not knowing what was going on that the alarm was going off.
"King K Rool! General Klump reporting along with Krusha!" Then all eyes looked towards two figures that enter the scene. The first was a Kremling with purplish scales and a yellow belly. Wears a green military helmet with three yellow chevrons, a green belt with five pockets and black laced boots. Second was a blue muscular Kremling with light tone belly and four yellow/red horns. The outfit is a camouflaged military suit, black belt and silver bands.
"Yes, well get on with it! WHO'S ATTACKING US!?" King K. Rool roared with rage and lost temper on wanting an answer, and he wants it quick.
"Is it those pathetic apes again?" Bowser asked from thinking the Kongs must be causing a disturbance and gone bananas – literally.
"Ugh, no…it's actually…well um, how do I say this…it's…" General Klump was having a difficult time on how to explain this when…
"JUST SAY IT ALREADY!?" K Rool yelled from losing his temper at the stalling.
"Ugh – RABBIDS!?" General Klump yelps before he blurts out the answer.
"Rabbids, how can those things cause you any trouble?" Dr. Neo Cortex ponders how those little mischief rabbits could even remotely cause such troubles.
"Ugh, they got powers now…" Krusha stated on mentioning a very important detail.
"ARRRRYYHHHH!/WAAARRRRRRH!/WOOOOOHHH!" Then from faraway many saw the Rabbids causing chaos and madness. But they were exhibiting powers while some wore strange outfits. The armies yelped from a few small surprise shots of fireballs and ice shots, followed by raccoon tail whacks, frog jumps, and even cat claws and elephant trunk blowing water guns.
"The POWER BLOCKS!?" Bowser roared in shock from recognizing what the Rabbids went and gotten themselves. "Those fleabags must have come across them. GET THEM!" He yelled to the evil army to deal with the rabbit infestation.
Soon the evil army was trying to catch the loose Rabbids, but they were even more destructive then anyone expected. Nearly a few minutes went by and it seem like nothing was gonna go right… Then without warning, a strange purple energy field appeared on the Rabbids, causing them to cease movement. It came from a Koopa Troopa but dress in a blue wizard robe and top hat while wielding a glass orb wand.
"I've secured those pesky bunnies, my king." The wizard troopa humbly bows while using his wand to contain the Rabbids.
"Excellent Kamek, I knew my wizard could do it." Bowser grins to see that was one problem finally settled.
"BOOM!" But then an explosion was heard and seen deep within the center if the island jungle that attracted attention.
"What was that?" King K. Rool asked from looking at the general direction. "That came from the prisoner hold just within the jungle?" He stated from recalling where they kept other prisoners that were not Peach and the Toad citizens.
"Wha…but isn't that the place you also captured my most hated enemy in?" Dr. Neo Cortex yelps upon having heard this, and had a bad feeling about this.
Suddenly a red tornado was spinning onto the scene before stopping that attracted the attention of the evil army. It was an orange anthropomorphic male bandicoot with a black nose, thick eyebrows, green eyes and reddish-brown hair on the head, styled into a typical Mohawk. Has a yellow-orange colored stomach and a peach muzzle. Wears board shorts with strings, and lack any definite denim textures, also wears pink boxers with red hearts on them, and a pair of high-top shoes with white soles and laces.
"AAahhhhh! CRASH BANDICOOT!?" Dr. Neo Cortex screamed from seeing his most hated enemy was here.
Then coming after Crash were others helping him out against the evil armies.
One was an anthropomorphic female orange fur bandicoot like Crash but smaller, light yellow fur from the mouth down the front neck, green eyes, long blonde hair tied in a ponytail. Wears a white T-shirt, overalls, and pink shoes. Has several additional accessories that makes one look more like a mechanic, including a pair of goggles on the forehead, a pink utility belt with an item pouch attached to it, and a heart-shaped patch sewed to the right knee of the overalls. Wears an earring on one ear, a pink bracelet over the right wrist. Carries a sticker-decorated tablet. Close examination shows the head more flat and oval shaped.
Second was a large, muscular, darker brownish-red colored male bandicoot with a metallic arm, camouflage pants and large red sneakers. Displays sharp teeth, blue eyes and bushed eyebrows, plus a short Mohawk hair style. Appears taller then Crash while being more all muscle.
Third was a tall, mutant female bandicoot with orange fur, a cream-colored muzzle and blue eyes. Has short blond hair partially dyed cyan and styled into a large, spiky faux-hawk. Wears a pink top with a blue and yellow line decal on the chest, a blue bandanna around her neck, a brown short-sleeved leather jacket with spikes on the shoulders. Fingerless except for the ring fingers leather gloves with metal braces, blue patched pants with two brown leather belts, dark brown steel-toed boots with pink leg warmers and three golden earrings in the right ear.
Lastly was some hybrid of a dingo and a crocodile, the body and tail of a crocodile and characteristics of a dingo. Has tan scales with brown spots, a tan underbelly, three toes, four fingers, yellow eyeballs with red color eyes. Carries what appears to be a leaf-blower/flamethrower weapon.
Suddenly as if appearing by magic was some brown wooden mask with yellow, pupil-less eyes with green eyebags, red rectangular eyebrows, red lips, a green goatee at the bottom of his mask formed out of leaves, and a pointy orange nose. A straight face, therefore exposing the teeth, and lastly four feathers on top of the head that are blue, yellow, orange and magenta.
"Coco, Crunch, Talia, Dingodile, it appears our time has finally come." The floating tiki mask instructs those to band together.
"No problem Aku Aku, we're ready!" Coco replied as the gang was getting ready for a comeback event.
"I been itching to punch those guys for ambushing us!" Crunch punched his metal fist into his real hand while cracking his neck a bit.
"Then you better save room, cause I got some scores to settle." Taila grins as the adventurer in her gets ready to fight.
"Let's wrap this up and then we can enjoy some pancakes I'll serve at my diner." Dingodile issue as he pulls out his weapon, ready to aim and fire…
"PANCAKES!" Crash Bandicoot cheered from having heard the tasty meal he can get afterwards.
Now the good mutants group flies into the confusion, and one of the things Crash did was knock Kamek off guard. Which caused the wizard to loose hold on the Rabbids and they went on a crazy run again. Now it was becoming utter chaos once more.
"No-No, NOOOOO! You said you had everything under control!?" Dr. Neo Cortex grip his hair from seeing all the careful planning was going to waste.
"We WERE in control, we had dealt with Rabbids, the Bandicoots, and…" K. Rool protest in stating they had everything perfectly kept, unsure where things went wrong… "Oh no, this attack couldn't lead to…" Then the evil Kremling leader realized with all this confusion, the worse thing to happen might just be…
Then entering from the trees, were Donkey Kong followed by the other apes to begin causing utter confusion against the three different join armies.
"DONKEY KONG!?" King K. Rool snapped with rage from seeing who show up at the right time. "I should have klnown you miserable KONGS were behind this!" He thought the Kongs were on the run, but now they have turn the tide and are striking back.
"It ain't just them…" Another voice was heard as the villains look what came out of the jungle was Mario with Luigi, along with Jak and Daxter.
"MARIO!?" Peach smiled upon seeing who has come.
"LUIGI!" Toad smiled on seeing the other brother of Mario was here too.
"Wha….how are you two here? And with such weirdos?" Bowser raise an eyebrow to see the Mario Brothers and other weird folks joining in.
"Hey Pal, have you even looked in a mirror lately!?" Daxter remarked at having been called weird by someone who looks freakin' scary.
"I wouldn't worry about looks, cause in a few seconds…" Jak issue from his firm cold stare and aims his rifle up. "You won't be recognizable." Jak declared as he made a few shots against Bowser, K. Rool and Cortex but they managed to slightly dodge them.
"Oh, well if you want a beat down, YOU GOT IT!" Bowser exclaimed as he was seen jumping off the thrown stage. "STOMP!" And he lands right in front of Mario and the gang wanting to oppose him.
"Bowser, don't go jumping in without a plan! Remember why we're here!" King K. Rool "PUNCH!/Ow!? Who dares…"
"Hey, remember me!?" That's when Ray Man appeared from nearby from his ears acting as a copter.
"Ray Man?" King K. Rool "Pulling a fast one on me, will you? Then I'll just have to CROWN You!"
K Rool ? Then Ray Man moved aside to reveal Kirby was hovering behind him. At that moment Kirby open his mouth to swallow in the crown. Then in an instant, Kirby transforms in a bright flash. Now Kirby appears with a hat that resembles the top of King K. Rool's head with a crown.
"MY CROWN!? HE ATE MY CROWN!?" King K. Rool roared in rage from what the pink puffball went and did.
"Ugh, is pink puffy guy king now?" Krusha asked puzzled and confused by who's in charge.
"Well ugh, I don't know?" General Klump scratch his head, unable to answer that question.
"GET THEM!" King K. Rool yelled to his minions to focus on who to deal with.
General Klump yelps before he and Krusha help K. Rool deal with Ray Man. Then Kirby using his new powers fires a cannonball forward at Klump that knock him out. Ray Man used his loose limbs to confuse Krusha to hit that which moves away from the body. K. Rool was getting mad until Donkey Kong tackled him as the Kremling king wrestles the ape. As everyone was fighting, no one saw Vogal snuck in to begin picking the lock where Peach and the Toads were kept lock up until they slightly gasp silently...
"Don't worry Princess, I'm here to help." Vogal smiled to assure those he's a good guy. "Good thing those guys are such good distractions." He smiled from seeing how the heroes are keeping the villains attention away from him.
"Thank you for the help, but who are you?" Peach replied while curious who the man was.
"Name's Vogal, and nobody pays attention to the last guy getting attention. Now I just gotta break this cage?" Vogal introduced himself while trying to work on freeing these prisoners.
"Nevermind that, there is a way to win this battle." Peach cuts in to inform Vogal of important information. "That chest over there, Bowser and his allies used it to collect some rare treasure found on this island. And one of them is the Super Star." She explains to point towards a chest behind the thrown chairs of what's contain within.
"Super Star, you mean…" Vogal repeated the question in surprise…
Then a loud explosion was heard as Vogal turns to notice the battle scene of what's happen so far. At first the heroes side was having an advantage, but now Kamek used his magic to harm the Rabbids, forcing them to lose their power-ups from battle damage, and slowly tipping the battle scale. One of the events showed Kirby taken a hit that knock him to the ground when helping Ray Man with K. Rool's crew.
"Poof!" Kirby had accidentally cough out the crown as K. Rool reclaim it.
"Hey wizzy!" Daxter yelled as he grab some mud while attracting Kamek's attention. "Mud in your eyes!" The ottsel shouted before throwing the mud that splatter on the Koopa Troopa wizard.
"Ahhhh! I can't see?" Kamek yelps as he was unable to see or focus his magic on targets.
"Waaarrrhhh!" Then the Rabbids continued to go on a rampage to keep the enemies distracted.
"Dax, try to help give Kirby a new power up." Jak asked his bud as he distracted Boswer while the Mario Bros. obtain a Fire Flower to counter the foe's fire breath.
"Okay, but which one?" Daxter asked from not knowing how to do that.
"Anything!" Jak exclaimed as he ran to cover his allies.
"Okay, here's the list the humans of this world label the different powers Kirby can get?" Daxter pulled a sheet of paper Vogal gave him and began muttering through the list.
Daxter was looking around the battlefield, trying to find anything that was useful. But so far all sides were not leaving behind anything that could help out…until Daxter came across a microphone.
"A MIKE!? What am I suppose to do with a…" Daxter was about to complain until he saw…the mike on the Kirby power-up list. "Wait, a microphone?...Hmmm…Hey Kirby, suck this up!" That's when Daxter called to the pink puffball and threw him the mike he picked up.
Kirby smiled when seeing what was coming, and sucked the mike in. Then in a flash of light, Kirby had transform into a new form. Kirby appeared with a pair of earphones with red ear covers with a star on them and held a gold mike.
"A microphone and ear-headset? Hah, is THIS your secret weapon!" Dr. Neo Cortex hovers nearby to laugh at such a ridiculous display. "This will be child's play!" The short man prepares his blaster and goes to take aim.
"Wait, did he say…" Voal replied as he sneaking towards the hidden chest behind the two thrown chairs when he heard this. "Uh-oh, I better cover my ears. This is NOT gonna go well on either side." He exclaims from covering his ears in knowing what was gonna come is not gonna be good…for anyone…
Then without warning, Kirby was beginning to happily start singing a song which was releasing a strange rockin' soundwave across the whole field. Problem was that it was causing a chain reaction that caused everyone that heard it to yelp, cringe, and many were unable to withstand it. In fact there were some bombs with faces that blew up as a chain reaction, disturbing the evil armies. But under such chaos, even the heroes were suffering…
"THE GLOVES!? THEY DON'T WORK!?" Luigi screamed from trying to stop hearing the music, but it was no use.
"UGHHH…WHAT IS THAT SOUND!?" Bowser cringed from never having heard something so bad.
"What's the matter, don't like the latest bad hip tunes?" Mario
"IT SOUNDS LIKE SCRATCHING CHALKBOARDS!" Bowser roared from being so mad but also in so much pain right now he can't do anything.
"Ohhh, Crash….how can you dance to that?" Coco cringed from trying to cover her ears but saw Crash was happily dancing around.
"Oooohhh, it's hurting my head?" Crunch yelps from the sound was unbearable.
"Blah-Blah, Blah-Blah, Balh-Balh-Balh-Balh…" Pretty much even the Rabbids seem to be the only ones that enjoyed the singing despite the carnage occurring.
"KLUMP!? DO SOMETHING!?" King K. Rool yelled as if the horrible noise was driving him mad.
"LIKE WHAT!?" General Klump asked his evil leader for a suggestion.
"CEASE THAT INFERNAL RACKET!?" King K. Rool screamed in wanting the noise stop at all cost.
It was utter chaos, while the evil forces were stopped, so were the heroes. Mike Kirby was too much for anyone to handle the horrible singing.
"Ohhh, good thing I'm so use to nosy city traffic and loud subway train tracks, but even my ears can only handle so much." Vogal cringed to block the horrible soundwave while opening the chest to find the contents of bananas, gold coins, and…a green theme Chaos Emerald. Woah, a Chaos Emerald and it's Green too? And this is…" Vogal moved aside the coins to discover a yellow star point, then found the two dotted eyes: this had to be what he was looking for: the Super Star Power-Up said to be the strongest from the Mario Universe.
However before Vogal could touch the star, the stage crack due to the soundwave force destroying areas, and the chest fell along with the human. But then a magic spell was shot that knock Kirby off and caused him to spit out the mike, which cause the destructive soundwave to cease. The one who gave everyone a break turn out to be Kamek as he was panting from exhaustion…
"My king, I've silenced the pink one!" Kamek exclaimed from wanting to display his service to those he works under, before dropping to his knees in exhaustion.
"Good, that music was terrible. My eardrums couldn't take much more of it. I wouldn't wish that on my worse enemy!" Bowser exclaimed from having a moment to relax now that the horrible singing was done. "Besides, I got an even better plan for my worse enemies!" He issued from looking at the heroes that were slowly standing up.
"Jak, now would be a good time to go all fury now?" Daxter asked with worry from seeing they need to unleash a secret weapon or something.
"Can't…the music…took a lot out of me." Jak moans from still having suffered damage from that soundwave of destruction.
Vogal was slowly recovering from the fall and noticed the heroes were facing a problem. Vogal slowly picks himself up and spots the chest but the contents scatter a few feet away from the fall. He grabs the nearby Chaos Emerald but cringe from having pulled a muscle. Still just ahead was the hovering Super Star, and Vogal knew they needed that.
"Hmmm?" Then Dr. Neo Cortex saw something move behind the stage, and that's when he spotted Vogal. "LOOK! One of those humans is going after the prizes!" Dr. Neo Cortex alerts those of what was happening from above.
Time began to move slowly as Vogal pushed himself to reach for the star, just as the villains unleashed their range attacks. The attacks hit and cause an explosion, causing the heroes to gasp in shock of what happened.
"Hah! So much for your last hope?" Bowser taunts from seeing the unknown hero was toasted.
"Hmmm?" Kirby noticed something strange pass the smoke cloud… "POYO! POYO!" Kirby was jumping for joy, as if he was happy.
"Hugh….hey look!" Ray Man slowly smiles upon what he was seeing.
That's when something was seen as Vogal appeared from the smoke cloud, but his entire body was glimmering a rainbow color light. The guy had survive the attacks and without suffering any damage thanks to a magical protective armor glowing all over him.
"Waaah!? He survived!?" Dr. Neo Cortex yelps in shock on seeing something like this.
"And he's lit like a Christmas tree?" Krusha stated from his simple brain on what the lightshow reminds him of.
"Grrr….ALL OF YOU!...GET HIM!" Bowser growls before yelling and commanding his troops to attack.
"Well don't just stand there gawking! I WANT OUR TREASURES!" King K. Rool lectures his own forces to hurry it up and do something.
"YES SIR! TROOPS – ATTACK!" General Klump yelps to reply before giving the order to engage.
Soon the armies of evil began to rush to attack Vogal, but now that he had the power of the Super Star…he sprung into action. It was an amazing feeling, and then Vogal charge it as two Hammer Bros. swung their hammers, only for them to be pulverized before getting grab and thrown back to knock some Kremlings like bowling pins. The Boomerang Bros. threw their boomerangs only for Vogal to grab them and return to senders with more force that took out some more enemy units….
"Oh dear, ugh…ugh….Troops!? CHARGE!" General Klump yelps nervously before quickly giving the order for the next wave of troops to deploy.
Then going with overwhelming numbers, the armies tried to win with quantities but…. Vogal charged and plowed through them and shot many through the air. Vogal then was jumping against incoming Bazookas and bouncing off Para Troopas and Hornets. Then some Pirahna Plants tried to overwhelm with vines and tried to chomp the target…only for it to be useless as Vogal broke free as the plants spat out what they couldn't devourer.
"Ugh, we ain't doing so well?" Krusha exclaimed from even his child-like mind can tell, they are not winning this.
"I KNOW SOLDIER!? QUICK, ATTACK!" General Klump lashed out before giving the order to keep fighting.
"Ugh, with what?" Krusha asked a dumb question which in turn…
"I DON'T KNOW!? THROW SOMETHING! ANYTHING!?" General Klump exclaimed loudly that it don't matter as long as they do something.
Then Krushar grabbed a bus and tried to throw it with force against the foe. But Vogal smashed through and punched the two crocs that now what was left were Cortex's mutant henchmen. Pinstripe Potoroo fires his machine gun rounds but the bullets bounce off Vogal's glimmering star power body. Ripper Roo launches to attack only for the guy to dodge, grab the tail and throw the enemy into the mafia foe. Then Koala Kong and Tiny Tiger struck with fist power double punches against Vogal which left a force crack in the ground, but the man had absorb it and was unharmed. And then he grab the big mutants by their hands to whack their bodies together until he threw them flying pass the villain trio leaders.
"GYAaaahhhh!? How can ONE Human overpower everything we thrown at him!? It's like watching that bandicoot only SUPER-Charge!?" Dr. Cortex yelps with a panicky voice, afraid that they are losing almost too easily.
"I refuse to lose! K Rool, time to play our final trump card!" Bowser firmly protest before issing what they do next.
"Oh goodie, I was saving it for a special occasion, what better time." King K. Rool made an evil grin, then took out a remote control to press a button.
Then something was happening on Crodoile Isle beneath a metallic gator mouth with a crown. As a strange laser with three brass rings surrounding a metal arrowhead pole came out. It was charging a blue light as it was gathering in one spot, and everyone paid attention to it.
"Why do I get a bad feeling about the ground shaking like this?" Daxter asked from having a worried and unsettle feeling of what's happening.
"What did you do?" Jak sternly glares to the villains for having done something underhanded.
"Oh it was something lying around that I helped K. Rool rebuild, a doomsday weapon meant to destroy Kong Island – The Blast-O-Matic!" Dr. Neo Cortex grins to boast a bit on having rework on improving such a deadly weapon.
"The Blast-O-Matic!?" Peach gasped upon having heard this.
"That doesn't sound good!?" Toad exclaimed from thinking such a name weapon is bad news.
"That's right, and now let's see if your star power friend can survive…THIS!?" K Rool exclaimed from eagerly wanting to finish off a hero without a second thought.
That's when a laser open fire as a massive wave that impacts Vogal in the air. Then a large explosion occurred that covered the entire spot in the sky, leaving nothing but a smoke cloud. Everyone gasp in shock while the villains side grin, and as the smoke cleared…Vogal was seen with arms up and having come out of that one without harm: thanks to the Super Star's effect.
"No way….that weapon should have had a 99 percent chance of destroying him!?" Dr. Neo Cortex gasped upon seeing this shocking feat fail.
"Good thing that 1 percent saved me. Now I can return the favor!" Vogal remark from what he heard, and decided to give a little payback.
That's when Bowser and K. Rool were seen facing off against the super star power Vogal. The villains used their physical feats to pound the enemy but Vogal was seemingly faster before grabbing Bowser to throw him off by the hair onto the ground and then punch K Rool to the side. Then Vogal did a shocking feat of grabbing both tails of the enemies and spun them around as they yelp from the experience. Then Vogal released both villains towards Dr. Neo Crotex's direction in the air.
"NO-NO! NOT THIS WAY!?" Dr. Neo Cortex yelps to hold up his hands, afraid of what's gonna happen…
Too late as the evil scientist was hit by Bowser and K. Rool and were sent packing towards the center of the Blast-O-Matic. They crashed into the face of the structure gator mouth before it was breaking apart.
"Ugh….is this how strong those that use the Super Star become? Surviving even my ultimate weapon!?" K. Rool moans from not believing someone was this powerful from one Power-Up item.
"Then let's raise it further! Doctor, transfer the weapon's power to my own weapon! We're going with Plan B!" Bowser instructs Cortex for preparing a Plan B step.
"Wha!? Are you crazy!? The magnitude of combining two super ultimate doomsday weapons could…" Dr. Neo Cortex was cut off when Bowser grabbed his neck to almost choke him for his defiance. "GRAaugh….right away!? I'll even prepare the island to separate and get us further away from the blast radius." The guy gave in rather then argue with a brute with an upperhand in strength.
"GOOD! NOW LAUNCH THE ULTIMATE BOMBER BILL AND DESTROY THE HERO!" Bowser roared forth in declaring what they will unleash and destroy those opposing them.
That's when energy from the Blast-O-Matic was firing but at something in the waters. And as Crocodile Isle was slowly separating it's self from the merge islands, what rose up appeared to be a gigantic cannon and it soon fires a super charge bullet-like enemy with eyes and a grin teethy mouth. Everyone on the merge islands saw this and some recognize what was coming…
"No….that thing…" Princess Peach gasped upon recognizing that very weapon Bowser used in the past.
"Oh boy, if that thing was bad before to destroy the Mushroom Kingdom…" Toad exclaimed on recalling what the villain nearly achieve with this one weapon.
"Imagine how bad it'll be if it blows up these islands?" Mario stated on picturing the scale but on an island-size measure.
"I think they know, and that's why they are running away." Luigi points to seeing all of Bowser, K. Rool and Cortex's army members flying, running and boarding airships to return to Crocodile Isle.
"TROOPS! RETREAT! FALLBACK! REGROUP!" General Klump screamed to have everyone get as far from the blast zone.
"RUNAWAY!" Krusha screamed at the top of his lungs.
"Well at least they have a sense when the going gets tough, the tough get going." Daxter issued on seeing what was happening that even crooked henchmen know when to flee.
"Poyo?" Kirby raise an eyebrow, puzzled and confused by this.
"Nothing else we can do, just leave it to Vogal now." Jak stated on leaving their hopes to one man who's got the power.
The Bomber Bill was heading for Vogal, everyone was on high edge, could even the Super Star power stop the combined forces of the Blast-O-Matic energy super-charge bullet that could destroy all enemies in a single sweep. Then Vogal did the unexpected, and he grap his fist and did a downward fist bump on the target. There was a brief pause, anticipation filled the air, no one know if that move work or if it'll blow up the bullet bomb when… As luck had it, that fist pound move knock the Bomber Bill off course while it was in a dizzy state. And guess where it was heading for instead….?
"Uh oh…" Bowser yelps with widen and shock eyes of what was coming at them.
"It's HEADING FOR US!?" K. Rool screamed in pure terror that Bowser's super-charge weapon was sent back to the senders.
"I Hate What Comes Next…?" Dr. Neo Cortex moans and groans to shake his head, fearing this will lead to an agonizing and painful defeat…
"KABOOM!" The explosion force had impacted the Blast-O-Matic, causing a towering energy force erupting upwards. There were multiple explosions happening all around the Croc Island. Then many saw that the entire island was beginning to sink under the ocean floor. Wasn't long before the enemy's main island base was gone, and with that…it was the heroes victory. And speaking of victory, Vogal landed on the ground, as the glimmering effect of the Super Star faded…
"Woah…did I do that?" Vogal held his head from feeling spent by the Super Star but more surprised at his achievement.
"That and how friend!" Ray Man pats Vogal's back to compliment such a feat.
"Yeah, you stole the show. Any adventurer feel jealous about now." Twana comments on how Vogal really pulled that off.
"After a win like that, I might make me some banana gumbo!" Dingodile smiled from offering to make something special.
"Thank you all for the rescue." Peach smiled to thank those that help rescue them from such danger.
"Man I thought the Super Mario Brothers were super, you guys really found a great bunch of heroes!" Toad compliments those that with Mario and Luigi, they were unbelievable.
"Awe shucks, it was nothing." Mario lightly blushes from the compliments.
"Heck if you didn't get us free, we still be jailed." Crunch issue that thanks to some friendly help, they managed to win the day.
"Hey speaking of nothing, did we ever find what we came for?" Luigi asked from knowing the whole reason they came was to find a certain powerful item in the area.
"Sure did!" Vogal then reveals the Green Chaos Emerald for all to see he acquired. "One Chaos Emerald obtain. Now we can head back." The guy was preparing to head for the helicopter site when…he looked back at the larger group. "But ugh, I don't think our helicopter can bring in so many folks here?" Too true, how many Rabbids, Kongs and Bandicoots plus one Ray Man fit into one copter.
"Maybe not, but on our island side we have some Warp techs. I can reprogram them to help get us to the location you want." Coco smiled to say as she pulled out his handheld tech pad to begin a remote setup.
"Well lets hope that we don't see those guys anytime soon." Jak remarked on getting the job done and not running into such villain problems.
"Oh sure Jak, like we haven't experienced those we beaten came back looking for revenge. Ugh, let's just hope this is one of those cases where such surprises aren't waiting for us…" Daxter moans and groans on recalling how they experienced such things, and it's never pretty.
The crowd was still filled with much joy and relief, and then it was filled with the Rabbids causing a little ruckus by partying with the remain scraps of stuff the villains left behind. The Kongs were gathering bananas to throw a banana fest for the heroes. Vogal smiled as he looked around, feeling like this might be the most fun and exciting thing he's done since…well, since his time with Jack and Miko on their subway adventure. But in any case, the mission was a success…

A strange portal appeared and then it disappeared. And what was seen scatter across a large empty facility, was actually the armies of Bowser, K. Rool and Dr. Cortex. The villains were slowly coming around to realize they were not underwater when heading for Croc Isle, but elsewhere instead…
"Ugh, where are we?" Krusha asked a plain but simple question.
"I…don't know?" General Klump exclaimed from not having the answer.
"Last thing I remember, was our home sinking…" K. Rool rubs his head to regather his thoughts… "FROM YOUR FAILED ATTACK!?" He lashes out with rage from knowing Bowser's weapon that backfire.
"Hey! It would have WORKED if the target wasn't protected by the Super Star!" Bowser protest on defending himself from taking the blame.
"Oh, my head…things can't get any worse…" Dr. Neo Cortex held his head from how much he has suffered till now.
Then hovering over Dr. Neo Cortex, was a tiki mask but larger then Aku Aku, plus the wood that makes up the face is dark brown/black color, and sports a large ginger beard. Has a rectangular nose, golden pupil-less eyes with dull green eyebags, light brown eyebrows, sharp teeth and three bones; one tied above the forehead and two are seen dangling on ropes from both sides. Another notable feature is the jagged stripe going across the forehead, which is yellow with red outlines.
"CORTEX!" The large tiki mask roared with a demonic deep tone, enough to scare anyone out of their mind.
"Um, ugh…Uka Uka…?" Dr. Neo Cortex yelps upon seeing someone he truly feels fearful for. "Um, why are you…" He was about to ask the question when…
"I was hear the whole time, discussing plans with our new allies." Uka Uka exclaim on having revealed the matters of his joining. "And then we find out, that YOU LOST!" He lashed out with rage at knowing what the mad scientist has done from the last battle.
"Well yes, we lost…?" Dr. Neo Cortex was about to say….
"TWICE!" Uka Uka snapped in stating this was not the first time this man failed.
"Okay, so my involvement might be counted, but…" Dr. Neo Cortex nervously stated on seeing why this tiki mask was so upset from both Fort Knox and the island matters.
"ENOUGH! The only reason I don't destroy you, is because MECH has made a break through. And they need your so-call genius brain…" Uka Uka snapped to silence the feeble man while mentioning of what little worth he still holds. "So be useful, while I'm in a generous mood. Understood…!?" He muttered under a threaten tone in his voice.
"Gulp, yes sir…" Dr. Neo Cortex swallowed hard while cowering in fear to slowly follow the MECH Soldiers.
"Wow, tiki guy as bad as K. Rool." Krusha scratch his noggin from what happen now.
"Heh, gotta admit, sire, he does give a glimpse of terror to feel threaten." Klump shrug off his shoulders to admit that even the Kremling King is not as scary when one gets use to him.
"Oh I'm sorry, am I not THREATHENING ENOUGH!?" King K. Rool lashed out with rage that his own followers were questioning who's to be respected and feared the most.
"Send us back there, we can regroup and takeover that island if we…" Bowser was about to lecture Uka Uka when…
"No! The prize has been taken, but fear not. It's not the end, just the beginning…" Uka Uka stops Bowser to express a diabolical manner that all is still well and things are within their grasp. "We may have lost the battle but the war…Is far from over." The evil tiki declared with a sly evil grin coming up…
Soon one can hear Uka Uka laughing a manically chuckle that echoed across the entire facility.
