Ch. 45
(A/N): Hello all and welcome back after so long. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy through this scary time. As you can see I have changed something's on my profile, including my new pen-name. I had wanted to change it for so long and I finally have, I also have the same name on "Wattpad." Just like I said I am keeping up with updating new chapters monthly, now more so than ever since I have more time now; well until I start my new online classes. However with nothing else to do besides school work, I will have more time to wright. Well that is all for now and I do not own MK-LT.
Ch. 45
When Naoki and Kotoko came back home with the kids, Mr. and Mrs. Irie couldn't stop the smiles on their faces; however Yuki couldn't help but glare just a little at the scene. Thankfully he was able to fake smile for the sake of not fighting in front of Kotoko and her sleepy looking two.
"Well it looks like you four had fun," Mrs. Irie stated through a big goofy smile. In her mind she was wishing that she could take a picture, but unlike the old times she held herself back.
"So much fun that I think these two are going to wash up and go to bed early," replied Kotoko as she carried her daughter up stairs. "Come on Yuga, you too."
"But mom I'm not," Yuga let out a big yawn (A/N: I yawned too.), "that tired." Naoki put a hand on his shoulder and led him to the stairs.
"Your mom is right Yuga," said Naoki in a calm voice. "You and your sister had a long day."
"Okay," sighed Yuga as he followed his mother up the stairs. Kotoko just smiled as she mouthed a thank you to the older man. Naoki couldn't help but smile back at her.
After Kotoko and the kids were out of eye sight, and ear distance away Yuki snapped. "What was that about?"
"Yuki!" his mother exclaimed shocked at her youngest son's actions. Their father made sure to get between the younger men.
"What are you talking about?" Naoki asked, even though he knew what his brother was getting at.
"What was that with Yuga and Kotoko, and don't tell me it was nothing," said Yuki pointing an accusing finger at his brother.
"I was just helping Kotoko get the kids home and making sure get some rest after they had a long day," Naoki through back.
"Yeah right, you were trying to act like nothing happened between you two, and top of that why are you really acting like your Yuga's real father? " Yuki was trying real hard not to scream too much at his brother, as he didn't want Kotoko walking in on them.
"In case you haven't forgotten Yuki I am his real father," stated Naoki in an all knowing way. However, after he said those words, he could feel the dark oar coming off his brother.
Yuki slowly walked up to him in a menacing way. "You may be his biological father, but you will never be half the father Sara was; and don't think I know the other reason you went with Kotoko today. Just remember you were the one who made your choices in life." That was the last said thing from the younger Irie before he walked out of the house all together.
"I thought you were finally getting along, but I guess I was wrong," spoke Mr. Irie.
"No, you were right, it's just…" Naoki started to say. He wondered if he should tell his parents, or more like his father. His father could see what his son was thinking.
"We will discuss this later, but for now why don't you go rest up yourself, I have this feeling that the kids are going to want you to come out with them as well."
Naoki smiled at that thought. "I hope your right.
Sometime later Yuki called his father. "Hey dad, I'm sorry I walked out like that, but I'm letting you know I'm at Yoshimi's."
"Thank you for calling son, but are you okay?" asked his father in a concerned voice. Yuki sighed, he really did hate making his parents worry.
"Yeah, it's just I can't stand Naoki pretending that nothing happened between them and acting like a proper father to Yuga."
"Son, whether you like it or not, Naoki is Yuga's father, and I think that he truly is trying to bond with his son," his father stated. "And I may not know what fully is going on between those two, but I don't believe Kotoko is up for dating, especially a married man."
Mr. Irie wasn't sure or not but he thought he heard the sound of a phone cracking. "Dad I think I should tell you something…"
"Father," Naoki said knocking on the office door.
"Come in son."
Naoki walked into his father's office already regretting it as he saw him sitting behind his desk looking serious as can be.
"I think we should talk about what's been going on, and not just between you and Kotoko."
