Author's Note: This chapter deals not only with the 'protagonist' Chitra and her harem of quirky men: Radelk, Tyrex, Tornian, Green & Grey, Philbatan, Enclive, Demon King Kyras, Yuri/Yuli, Senendot, and Yunores.
Chitra stared at the Golden Rabbit. She had mastered her divine power (mostly smoothly) and it was her first Gacha pull since mastering it.
Behind her were her closest people. She had asked for each of them to be present as each had a blessing (again mostly) by different gods.
Taking a deep breath and exhaling, she smiled and pressed the extended paw for a single pull. Then, the rabbit changed to its diamond version.
"High Super Ultra Special Unique Rare!"
The words had Chitra's eyes going wide in shock. The last time this happened was when she got all eight Gods' blessings to summon Kyras, a Demon King.
What came out of the Rabbit Gacha wasn't an orb but a brilliant silver glow with a distinctive outline of a clearly female person.
Once the silver glow faded, the Gacha Rabbit jumped back, sweating profusely. The tiny raven-haired woman opened her bloodshot blue eyes and stumbled forward. Instinct had Chitra reaching to catch the woman in her arms before she fell.
"Master," the woman said in a soft, sweet voice.
Then, before she could react, Chitra was kissed as Tyrex kissed her. The girl's tongue in her mouth seemed to be pressing an orb against her tongue.
In a second, the orb melted, and Chitra saw a message.
"A contract has been formed with the 'The Unclaimed' Kagome."
Chitra felt her consciousness fade as she realized she had no choice in accepting the contract.
It was time for a shift change. And the soft knock on the bedroom door had Radelk lifting his head to see Tryrex enter.
For the past four days, they had all taken six-hour shifts watching (guarding really) their Master, who had been forcefully kissed and put into a contract and coma while holding the perpetrator protectively.
Initially, after their Master had passed out, a large explosion of Magic, Demonic Energy, and 'raw' Divine power happened. Tyrex and Kyras had done their best to contain it.
Surprisingly enough, Philbatan had been able to help with the Divine Power. Him being favored by his God came in handy.
Then the Twins, Green & Grey, claimed that this tiny woman had felt like a living personification of the Tree of Life (World Tree) in the Elf lands.
Another outburst happened once everything had calmed and the two women were placed in bed. It was hard to tell which of the energies would explode, hence the six-hour rotation.
"Nothing changed?"
Giving a shake of his head, Radelk frowned and stood.
"I'll go make us some food. We still have two hours left before we switch."
The lowering of Tyrex's eyes was answer enough.
"Radelk, what we saw with POltans Summan Wriggly. It was that woman's life," Tyrex said. "Kyras say the two are soul bonded, and we can't do anything to her."
Sighing, Radelk left.
Tornian sat with Philbatan and stared at Chitra. She'd finally awakened.
Her first action was to call Green & Grey and tell them to bring Radelk, Tyrex, and Kyras. His pale blue gaze was serious as he watched his Master pet the sleeping woman's black hair.
It bothered him, yet he knew nothing could be said until they all heard what had to be said.
Soon, the door was opened, and the others entered. Tornian saw Chitra glance at them as the door clicked shut.
"One hundred and fifty-six, not counting her first life."
At the words, Tornian felt his mind begin to pick the words apart and analyze them.
"Chitra, what is her full name and job," Kyras asked.
Tornian cocked an ear to listen as Chitra spoke again.
"Kagome Higurashi. Priestess."
The defeated sigh from Kyras made him look at the former Demon King.
"Kyras?" Radelk asked.
"In the Demon world, there are children's fairy tales of a Priestess who went on an epic quest to restore a powerful artifact. She traveled with a Kitsun Kit, Half-Demon, Perverted Monk, Demon Slayer, and a two-tailed Nekomata," Kyras recounted.
Tornian felt his scalp tingle. When Poltan showed Chitra's dreams, he had noticed Kyras' reaction at that moment but had yet to pay much attention.
"The girl completed the artifact and destroyed the threat to the world," Kyras continued. "She was to make a selfless wish but refused and vanished after incurring God's wrath."
Giving a soft snort, Tornian knew there was no such thing as a selfless wish. The gods were tricky, manipulative bastards who loved to meddle in the affairs of mortals and twist things to their benefit for nothing more than amusement.
"That girl in that story was never claimed, but it was said many blessed her. Especially the Goddess of all creation in her world, Amaterasu."
Tornian gasped.
"Correct, Kyras. This woman is that girl. She has to live her life over and over in any world the Gods decide, and she has to recall each life. Whether it is happy or sad," Chitra said. "That also included each death, no matter how brutal."
Tornian looked back at the sleeping woman. He didn't need to hear more; his mind supplied an estimate of how strong she was compared to her age and appearance.
Tyrex watched as his Master worked side by side with the woman Kagome. He smiled as they shifted their bodies through the katas of something called Taibo. It helped promote a calm and serene mind. That, coupled with meditation and visualization, had helped his Master.
She could more or less heal with her Divine Powers, unlike before.
Tyrex wasn't opposed to being in bed doing that with both of the ladies before him.
He was letting his mind wander to things he wanted to do to his Master or both of them together. He was brought back to the present when two soft feminine laughs filled the air.
Opening his eyes, Tyrex met light and dark blue eyes before he realized they were upside down. Frowning as he spun his levitated body so he was right side up, Tyrex could not help but laugh with them.
Kagome was complex. She had all her memories of each life she had lived. And as time passed, he and the others learned she knew all her skills, abilities, and cultivated talents from each life.
Kagome was humble about it but not one to be crossed. And with her open, accepting, and nurturing nature, she was slowly becoming a person everyone respected and desired.
Philbatan smiled as he watched his liege Chitra and the newest member to their ranks, Priestess Kagome Higurashi.
It came to light that Kagome had come from a world similar to Chitras.
"So I mean, I am still reeling about Salazar Slytherin," Chitra said, chuckling. "He always seemed to be an old, rotund wizard. But from your memories, he was definitely creative!"
The light laugh that echoed as Kagome attacked with an open palm strike had him admire how swift, decisive, and accurate she was.
His God, Hakatakka, had given him a message when he went to do an offering of dumplings again.
Kagome had become a thing the whole pantheon of Gods wanted to claim, Both those that favored his liege and those wary or hateful of Chitra.
"Shall we remove the limiters?"
Philbatan felt the air in his body freeze as Chitra agreed to Kagome's request. It meant he had to be on guard from both in case the Divine Power they used ran rampant again.
Green & Grey exchanged a shared look. A half a year had come and gone since Kagome had arrived. She had brought the smell and feel of the Tree of Life(world tree) with her.
She had kissed Chitra; soul bonded their mistress and accepted them as they were, which they had felt awkward about for a long time.
Kagome could always sense them when hidden in the shadows, and their skill had long become a triple S rank.
Her explanation was sensing their soul. It was unique, shared between them, powerful, and tainted with fanaticism.
Green smiled as he dropped from their spot and entered the tent set up as a command post. War had broken out. The Emperor Senedot and the six Dukes had declared war on Chitra and her county—a fool's errand, as Kagome called it.
Gray quickly followed Green and was rewarded with a plate of apple slices. Smiling, he looked at Kagome, who had donated clothes like theirs.
"Did you locate the places Yuli/Yuri mentioned after he returned?"
Sharing a glance with Green, Gray reported while Green snuck to Kagome's side and stood between her and Tornian. He noted that those present did their best to neither laugh nor roll their eyes.
Green leaned over and rested his cheek against the crown of Kagome's head. Peace filling him.
Gray openly frowned as he finished his report, went to Kagome's other side, and displaced Enclive and copied his brother, who moved minimally to allow him some room, all while Kagome giggled at them.
Kyras watched as Chitra took the throne and was crowned the new Emperor. Kagome presided over the coronation.
He was still at odds at being near a fairy tale legend. One that could end him easily by sneezing and accidentally flaring her Horeiki. Yet it was true she had a magnetism demons of all ranks flocked to.
The Demon God had told him he had to bear a child for Kagome or let her bear one for the Demon God himself.
Kyras sighed as Kagome bowed to Chitra and then turned to announce the Empire's new Emperor. He knew what came next and smiled. Kagome called him, Radelk, and Tornian to come up and stated they were Emperor Chitra's Main Husbands. Then he watched as Kagome named the rest, herself included, as Chitra Consort-Concubines.
"First night goes to Queen-Consort, Kyras,"
His foot paused in mid-step. Kyras knew he was grinning as his face suddenly felt hot. Sharing a quick look with Kagome, Kyras knew she'd done him a favor.
The soft knock on his chamber door had Enclive lifting his eyes from the book.
He knew who it was and gave a soft call for his visitor to enter. There was no hesitation as the door opened to reveal the red eyes of the former Emperor and his younger brother, Senedot.
The fact that his eyes were red(even though the three personalities had mostly merged) meant that Net was the one in charge. Enclive followed that red gaze to the head of black hair nestled against his hip.
Smiling, Enclive waited until his brother sat on the edge of the bed and started to stroke Kagome's exposed shoulder.
"She finally exhausted herself?"
"Yes," Enclive said. "Though it was troublesome since I had to coax her away from the littlest Princess."
Enclive knew when Chitra had asked him to take Kagome from the nursery and sick Princess, Chitra's second daughter who Tyrex sired; it indicated Kagome was overdoing it.
"Our pet is very stubborn."
"She is, Neti," Enclive said. "But it's part of who she is."
"We will see the child in a few months?"
"Yes."
That one word held all he felt. Hell, in the five years since Chitra had become Emperor of the Empire, a lot had happened.
Kyras bore Chitra and his daughter. Kagome delivered twins, Green & Gray. But the male child was Green's, and the girl was Gray's. That birth drew the King of the High Elves. Thus almost reducing the situation into a Racial and political war- if not genocide of a race. The twin's twins were also full-blooded High Elves with Seven Leaf pendants.
It was during this pregnancy it came to light that Kagoem could only be touched by the child's father(s). Otherwise, the baby would violently react, causing Kagome to be in extreme pain. This fact also applied to Chitra when she personally carried the baby.
After that, Kagome and Kyras knocked each other up with a pair of girls. Chitra and Radelk had a son around the same time.
Then, a year later, in the third year of Chitra's reign, Kagome bore Chitra a son. The mechanics of that were still a topic of discussion. Then again, they all knew that Kagome was a strange enigma due to her life circumstances.
And six and half months ago, he'd come across Kagome in the Royal Library. It started as an accidental kiss and progressed to an intimate, clandestine meeting that Senedot, or Den, had joined.
Now, he and his brother had a child on the way. And Kagome was either a 'Don't Touch Me!' or a 'succubus' until satisfied.
Thanks to Chitra, he'd had to tire out a 'Succubus' by himself since Senedot had been out doing something or another with Tornian.
"I want a daughter."
The statement took him by surprise, yet Enclive nodded in agreement. A little girl who looked like Kagome would be best.
"Let us sleep, Neti," he said. "I feel she'll wake up 'needy' in a few hours."
The snort his brother gave as he slipped between the covers and wrapped around Kagome left Enclave smiling as he blinked out the candle and shifted until he was laying on his back, already stiffening as Kagome's arms moved and stroked at his outer thigh.
Yuri/Yuli laughed as he held the tiny pink-haired and blue-eyed boy in his arms. The sight of his and Kagome's being ridiculously extra while lecturing the Royal tutor was too much.
Letting his eyes roll to look at the Matching exasperated looks on Chitra and Kagome's faces was priceless. But it was technically their fault.
Celia took after Kagoem with her smart mouth. Yet her intelligence, adaptability, and wit were from him. She was also a curious child who got into way too much trouble due to that curiosity.
"Dah, phing!"
The slurred words and tugging on his hair had him looking at his son.
Those pale blue eyes, like his mother, told him all he needed.
"Alright, Calcifer," he said.
His son adored his big sister and didn't like it when she was agitated—a fact everyone found amusing. Taking a deep breath, Yuri/Yuli began to sing 'Snow' from when Chitra had employed him as an Idol. Soon, the room fell into silence except for his song.
Yunores was beside himself. On one side was Chitra, whom he swore his Godly powers to, and on the other was Kagome, whom he had(until a point) wanted as his apostle.
In his pride and arrogance convinced both to sleep with him at the same time. However, the result of that was two pregnant women who would either share him or try to tear him in two.
Yunores was well aware of how strong both were. And that they could kill him, a God, easily.
It didn't help that the other ten people immensely enjoyed his situation and discomfort.
Sighing, Yunores wanted to go and hide in the ocean. However, instinct warned him that it would be a bad idea. But what killed him on the inside was he still had another six months left before they both gave birth to his children.
THE END!
