"Man Im glad classes are done," said Ishigami as he and Miko walked out of the lecture hall. "You're only happy because you have an excuse to play video games," said Miko. "What can I say? We don't get many days off, at least I didn't flunk my finals" said Ishigami. "I agree, it's nice not having to worry about classes for a change," said Miko as they walked outside. "Wanna grab something for dinner?" Ishigami asked. "Sure but you're paying this time, I could go for a bowl of ramen," said Miko to which Ishigami sighed as it seemed that some things never change.

December 15

"I'm heading out," said Miko as she wore her jacket on a Saturday morning. "Oh, where you going?" Ishigami asked as he was playing a match of Apex Legends. "I`m going to work," said Miko. "You got a job?" Ishigami asked. "Yeah, I started an internship at a law firm not too long ago, don't you have work today?" said Miko. "My boss gave me the weekends off," said Ishigami. "Aren't you lucky?" Miko said back. "Well everyone needs a break, when are you coming home then?" Ishigami asked. "I won't be that late today, so I`ll be back home just in time for dinner, see you later," said Miko as she walked out the door. "Well at least I've got the place to myself," said Ishigami as he leaned back on the couch and continued with his game.

2 hours later

"I think that's enough for today," said Ishigami as he had been playing for 2 hours straight. "Im hungry," said Ishigami as he got up to grab a bite. "Man we're out of snacks already?" said Ishigami as he dug through the pantry looking for some snacks. "Guess I'll have to make a supply run soon," Ishigami thought as he heard the doorbell ring.

"Wonder who it is?" Ishigami thought as he went to get the door. "Who is it?" said Ishigami as he opened the door. "Surprise," said a familiar voice as Ishigami felt a hug. "Chika? What are you doing here?" Ishigami asked. "What does it look like silly? I'm here to visit of course" said Chika. "Oh, well I wished you called earlier so I could get the place ready," said Ishigami as Chika entered. "Wow, this place is nicer than my apartment back in Kyushu," said Chika as she looked around. "Yeah, my mom was insistent on getting this apartment," said Ishigami. "Well it seems that your mom has good taste," said Chika to which she saw something that caught her attention.

"Ishigami, are you rooming with someone else?" Chika asked as she noticed a pair of shoes that did not belong to Ishigami. "Oh uh yeah, it's not just me," Ishigami said nervously. "Oh? Where are they now?" Chika asked. "They stepped out to take care of something," said Ishigami. "I see, I guess it's just the two of us now," said Chika as she sat on the couch. "Since you're here, wanna play? I just got this game" said Ishigami as he pulled out two controllers and a Street Fighter 6 disc. "You're on," said Chika as Ishigami started the game.

A bit later

"Aw come on, three losses in a row," said Chika as she put the controller down in despair. "That's 3 wins for the great Ishigami. Are you ready to lose again?" said Ishigami as he fist-pumped. "You're on, I won't lose again," said Chika as she picked up the controller. "Hey Ishigami," said Chika to which Ishigami turned to her. "What?" said Ishigami as Chika gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Now my chance," said Chika as she used the distraction to win the round.

"Hey, that's not fair," said Ishigami as he lost the round. "Hey, I thought good gamers can adjust to any situation," said Chika with a grin. "Why you, I'm not losing again so prepare yourself," said Ishigami as he grit his teeth preparing to regain his pride.

An hour later

"I think that`s enough for me, I'm hungry," said Chika as she stretched herself. "Help yourself," said Ishigami as he put away the controllers. "Hey, you don't have anything in your fridge?" said Chika as she opened it to look for ingredients. "No, not really, I was supposed to go tomorrow," said Ishigami. "Why don't we take a little walk then? we can chat and restock your inventory" said Chika. "I guess, I'm getting kinda bored of staying home all day," said Ishigami as he grabbed his jacket.

"So how's college going so far?" Chika asked as she put some meat into the shopping cart. "About as well as expected," said Ishigami as he pushed the cart. "Everything alright? You don't seem very enthusiastic" said Chika. "No, it's just that college has sapped out most of my energy and I thought high school was exhausting," said Ishigami.

"You'll get used to it, are you working right now?" said Chika as they walked up to the paying area. "Yeah, I'm working at an Apple Store," said Ishigami as he put the items on the conveyor belt. "Oh I see, does it pay well?" said Chika as she was picturing a montone Ishigami on the job. "It's an alright job for the time being, it pays the bills" said Ishigami as they paid for their groceries. "Maybe you can give me a discount on the new I phone, pretty please?" said Chika as they walked out of the supermarket. "I don't think it works that way," said Ishigami as bribery from Chika was nothing new to Ishigami.

"There's a lot of people here," said Chika as she noticed the volume in the mall was much higher than usual. "Well, that's because it's Christmas season" Ishigami replied as there were a lot of high schoolers shopping around them. "Christmas cakes, come get your Christmas cakes early," said a female wearing a Santa costume outside a bakery. "Oh they're having a special on cakes, let's check it out," said Chika.

"Oh Ishigami, what are you doing here?" Akane asked as she saw Ishigami walk up to her. "Im shopping for groceries, what about you?" Ishigami asked. "This is my part-time job, whos your friend?" Akane asked as she noticed Chika with Ishigami.

"I`m Chika Fujiwara, I`m Ishigami`s boyfriend," said Chika as she introduced herself. "Nice to meet you, I`m Akane Miyamoto, I go to same the college as Ishigami," said Akane as she introduced herself. "Wow, she's so beautiful, Ishigami, are you sure she's your girlfriend" Akane whispered to Ishigami. "Yes, why would I lie to you?" said Ishigami. "Well I remember that you said you were taken, just didn't think your girlfriend was such a beauty," said Akane.

"What flavor is the cake?" Chika asked. "It's a chocolate and vanilla cake, it's a brand new cake from our bakery," said Akane. "That sounds good, can we get it?" said Chika as she gave Ishigami puppy eyes. "All right, well get the cake," said Ishigami as he pulled some bills out of his wallet. "Thank you, have fun on your date," said Akane as she handed Ishigami the cake. "Yeah, good luck," said Ishigami as he waved back. "It's getting kinda late, why don't we head back," said Ishigami as he looked at his phone. "Yeah, Im pretty hungry," said Chika as they walked to Ishigami's place.

Back at the apartment

"Do you need any help?" Ishigami asked as Chika was cutting up some vegetables in the kitchen. "No I`m good, I'm your guest here so it's only right that I cook for you," said Chika as she was preparing dinner. "If you say so," said Ishigami as he went back to his phone. "By the way, is your roommate coming back for dinner?" Chika asked. "I'm not too sure, just make extra then" Ishigami replied. "Okay," said Chika as she prepared some more ingredients for dinner.

"Man I can't hide this forever, I have to tell her at some point," Ishigami thought when he heard the intercom ring. "Wonder who it is at this hour?" Ishigami thought as he got up from the couch. "Who is it?" Ishigami asked through the intercom. "Open the door, I left my keys at home," said Miko. "What? Again? Seriously, you need to stop doing that" said Ishigami as he sighed in annoyance. "Come on, open the door already you nimrod," said an annoyed Miko. "Now see, if I open the door for you, how are you going to learn?" said Ishigami. "Stop acting smart with me Ishigami, just hurry up and get here," said Miko to which Chika stopped what she was doing.

"Ishigami? Who is that person? You never said your roommate was a girl" said Chika as she started to question who this roommate was. "Oh shit," Ishigami thought as he knew his bluff was up. "What's wrong? Are you hiding something from me?" said Chika as she could tell Ishigami was trying to hide something. "Well, I..." Ishigami stammered as he tried to come up with an excuse. "Im going to have a word with this person," said Chika as she walked towards the door. "Wait calm down," said Ishigami as he tried to stop Chika from giving the guest a scare.

"What's taking him so long?" Miko thought as she waited for Ishigami to open the door unaware of the surprise. "So you must be the new roommate," said Chika as she opened the door. "What? No, please don't hurt me, did someone break into our place?" said Miko as she stumbled to the floor upon seeing the seriousness of the situation. "Huh? Miko-chan?" said Chika as she realized who was at the door. "That's why I told you to calm down," said Ishigami as he approached the door and saw a spooked Miko sprawled on the floor. "As if things couldn't get any more complicated," Ishigami thought as he helped Miko into the apartment.

"If you were rooming with Miko, why didn't you tell me sooner, I`m so sorry for giving you a heart attack Miko-chan," said Chika as she nuzzled Miko as they were having dinner. "I wasn't sure how well you were going to take it, your reaction said it all," said Ishigami as he took a bite of his curry. "Hm? Don't tell me something is going on behind the scenes" said Chika. "No of course not," said Miko. "Oh that's okay then," said Chika as she went back to her bubbly self. "Geez sometimes I wonder why Im in a relationship with a possible yandere?" Ishigami thought as he went back to his food.

"That was good, why don't we have some dessert," said Chika as she pulled out the cake that they bought earlier. "I was gonna save the cake for another time, but I guess now is fine," said Ishigami as he went to get some plates. "You know what would go well with this? A bottle of wine" said Miko as she pulled a bottle of red wine out of a cabinet.

"Are you sure this is a good idea, you're not gonna get drunk here are you?" Ishigami questioned as he unboxed the cake. "It'll be fine, Fujiwara-senpai is here, so it's a perfect occasion," said Miko as she opened the bottle of wine. "Why do I feel like this is a bad idea," Ishigami thought as Miko poured him a glass of wine. "Cheers," said the trio as they tapped glasses.

20 minutes later

"Ishigami, you're such a player," said Miko as she playfully smacked Ishigami while clearly being tipsy. "And this is exactly why I didn't want to drink, Chika, what are you doing?" said Ishigami as he noticed Chika had taken out her phone. "Taking some memories to remember," said Chika as she recorded the drunken mess unfolding. "I gotta watch over you, I know you're thinking about making a move on Suzu and Akane, you naughty boy, even though you have Fujiwara-senpai," said Miko to which Chika bat an eyebrow. "Alright you, let's get you to bed, give me a hand will you?" said Ishigami as he and Chika carried a drunk Miko back to her room before she could say something else.

Drink responsibly everyone

"Well I never knew that Miko was such a lightweight," said Chika as they were washing dishes. "Yeah that tends to happen with a first time drinker," said Ishigami as he put some dishes in the cabinet. "Well maybe college has unveiled her secret rebellious side," said Chika. "By the way, Miko mentioned two girls before, what's that about?" said Chika. "Don't worry, they're just college friends, nothing more than that," said Ishigami. "I'll believe you if you give me a kiss," said Chika to which Ishigami sighed. "All right fine," said Ishigami as he gave Chika a kiss on the cheek.

"Are you doing anything on Christmas?" Chika asked as they were sitting on the couch. "No, not really," said Ishigami. "Why don't we take a trip together, just the two of us," said Chika. "Oh, where do you wanna go?" Ishigami asked. "I was thinking Hokkaido," said Chika. "Oh I see, I haven't been there before, I'm okay with it," said Ishigami. "Perfect I'll let you know when the trip is going to be," said Chika. "Well so much for video games this break," said Ishigami as it seemed that he would spend Christmas with Chika.
