"Man I haven`t slept this well in ages," said Ishigami as he got up and stretched himself. "That`s strange, where`s Chika?" Ishigami thought as Chika was not present in the room. "What time is it?" said Ishigami as he grabbed his phone from the table.
I stepped out to go Christmas shopping. Don`t forget that we promised that we get each other a surprise gift for Christmas Day, meet me back at the hotel at 7:30 pm (^-^) Chika
"Oh right, Chika said that we should split up to buy each other a Christmas gift," Ishigami thought as he brushed his teeth. "Guess I have the day to myself," said Ishigami as he left the hotel. "Where should I go?" Ishigami thought as he looked through his guidebook. "The mall, maybe I can find something there," said Ishigami as he walked to the mall.
Stellar Place Sapporo Mall
"Wow, this place is huge, not to mention packed," said Ishigami as he walked around the mall and noticed a lot of couples and families shopping. "Whay gift should I get Chika? I've gotten her so many gifts, this one has to be special since it`s our first Christmas together" Ishigami thought as he walked into a department store. "Hi there, how can I help you?" the salesman asked Ishigami as he walked in. "Oh I`m looking for a Christmas gift," said Ishigami as he looked around. "Certainly, may I ask who this is for?" the salesman asked. "It`s for my girlfriend" Ishigami replied.
"Okay, what`s her personality like?" the salesman asked. "She`s a cheerful person," said Ishigami. "I see, what about some jewelry?" said the salesman as he showed Ishigami some necklaces and rings. "Hmm, I feel that I`ve gotten jewelry for her already, I need a gift that is special and meaningful" Ishigami replied. "What about a purse, every girl wants a purse, it`s perfect for a date night," said the salesman.
"You know what, yeah that might work, can I see your selection?" said Ishigami. "Sure, have a look," said the salesman, showing Ishigami their assortment of purses. "This one looks nice, how much for this one?" said Ishigami as he pulled out a pink purse. "You have a good eye, this is a nice purse, that one is 18000 yen," said the salesman. "Oh, that one is quite expensive," said Ishigami as he examined the purse. "Yeah it`s a nice one, if the price is too much, I can recommend something a bit more budget-friendly," said the salesman. "Yeah, but I think my girlfriend will like it," said Ishigami to which the salesman pondered for a bit.
"Tell you what, if you want this for your girlfriend, I can lower the price for you, 14000 yen works for you?" the salesman asked. "Sure, that`s more workable," said Ishigami as he paid for the purse."Thank you for your purchase, I hope your girlfriend will like it, Merry Christmas," said the salesman as he handed Ishigami the bag with the purse in it. "Thanks, Merry Christmas," said Ishigami as he left the store. "Now that the gift has been taken care of, it's arcade time," said Ishigami as he was free to have fun since his objective for the day was complete.
Meanwhile with Chika
"What should I get Ishigami?" Chika thought as she was coincidentally at the same mall Ishigami was in. "I should try this store," said Chika as she walked into an electronic store. "Hi there, how can I help you?" said a saleswoman who walked up to Chika. "I`m looking for a Christmas gift," said Chika. "Okay, may I ask for this is for?" the saleswoman asked. "It`s for my boyfriend," said Chika.
"Okay, can you tell me about your boyfriend?" the saleswoman asked. "He`s an average guy that has a laid-back personality that loves to play video games," said Chika."Does your boyfriend work a job?" the saleswoman asked Chika. "Yes, his job involves lifting boxes and delivering products," said Chika to which the saleswoman pondered for a moment before motioning Chika to follow her.
"Why don`t you get your boyfriend this, this is perfect for someone who does physical labor a lot and deals with muscle stiffness," said the saleswoman as she showed Chika a massage gun. "Ishigami is a bit stiff, this could be perfect for him, how much for one?" Chika asked. "So the cheaper ones go for about 5700 yen, the middle ones go for about 13000 yen, but the top tier ones can get as high as 20000 yen" the saleswoman explained to Chika.
"Wow, these must be pretty good, I want the top-tier one, but it`s a bit out of my budget," said Chika as she looked through her wallet. "You know what, I can lower the price of the top tier one a bit, 16000 yen sound okay?" the saleswoman asked. "Are you sure? I can always get a cheaper one" said Chika as she felt guilty. "Don`t worry about it, if you`re getting a gift for someone you love, I would be more than happy to give you this discount" said the saleswoman.
"Yeah, that would be great," said Chika as they walked up to the register and Chika paid for the massage gun. "Thank you for your purchase, I hope your boyfriend will like it, Merry Christmas," said the saleswoman as she handed Chika a bag with the massage gun. "Thank you, Merry Christmas said Chika as she left the store. "Alright, it`s ramen time," said Chika as she hummed happily.
Later
"Man I`m surprised I`m not banned from arcades," Ishigami thought as he walked out with many prizes. "Oh uh excuse me," said a blond male as he walked up to Ishigami. "Oh, he speaks English, must be a foreigner," Ishigami thought as he noticed the male was speaking a different language. "That prize you have, may I have it? I can pay you, how much?" said the male as he pulled out his wallet. "Oh uh this prize, it`s around 4000 yen," said Ishigami.
"Oh, I don`t quite have yen on me, do you take American money?" said the male as he pulled out some dollars. "Sure, I can always just exchange it back for yen," said Ishigami as the male handed Ishigami a 20 dollar and a 5 dollar bill. "Thank you so much, you saved me so much trouble, my girlfriend is going to love this," said the male as he bowed before walking away. "Maybe I should try making a profit if I`m good with the crane machine," Ishigami thought as he explored more of the mall.
"Man, that was good," said Chika as she walked out of the ramen restaurant. "Hm? What`s going on?" said Chika as she noticed a young girl crying. "What`s the matter little girl?" said Chika as she bent down. "I lost my scarf that my mom bought me," said the young girl. "I see, why don`t we get you a new one?" said Chika as she patted the girl`s head. "You will?" said the girl. "Sure, leave it to me," said Chika.
"All right, pick out a new scarf," said Chika as the two were in a clothing store. "That one," said the girl as Chika took the scarf off the rack. Red huh? Seems a bit cliche, but if the kid wants it, I`m not going to argue" Chika thought as she and the girl walked up to the cash register.
"That`ll be 2200 yen, anything else?" said the cashier as she rang the scarf up. "Oh uh," said Chika as she noticed the girl staring at a key chain. "Do you want that?" said Chika as the girl snapped back to reality. "Oh uh, I`m okay, I couldn`t trouble you to buy me that since you`re buying me a new scarf" the girl replied. "I`ll take this as well," said Chika as she put the key chain on the counter. "Are you sure Miss?" the girl asked Chika. "Don`t worry about it young lady" said Chika as she patted the girl`s head. "That`ll be 2800 yen then," said the cashier as Chika paid for the scarf and key chain.
"Here you go," said Chika as she gave the girl the bag outside the store."Thank you, Miss, Merry Christmas," said the girl as she waved goodbye as the two parted ways. "Take care," said Chika as she waved back. "It feels nice to do something good, guess I should reward myself, it`s time for shopping," said Chika as she hummed happily.
Meanwhile
"Time for a break," said the salesman as he walked out of the department store. "Oh hey, on break now?" said a fellow saleswoman who walked up to him. "Yeah, wanna take a walk?" said the salesman. "Sure, so anything interesting happen today?" said the saleswoman as they walked. "Yeah, I was dealing with a gentleman who was looking for a gift for his girlfriend, I recommended him to get her a purse, even gave him a discount," said the salesman.
"Oh? I had a young lady looking for a gift for her boyfriend, I recommended she get her boyfriend a massage gun, ironically I also gave her a discount" said the salesman to which the two paused for a moment. "Wait a second" the salesman started to speak. "Those two" the saleswoman added. "Had to have been a couple" both said at the same time. "Well I guess we were wingmen for the couple huh?" said the salesman. "Yeah, it must be nice having someone to hang out with, to be young again," said the saleswoman as she took out a vape pen.
"Hey uh, I have an extra ticket to go to Shiroi Kobito, do you wanna come with me tomorrow?" said the salesman as he rubbed the back of his head. "Oh? Are you asking me out on a date?" said the saleswoman. "Sure I guess" the salesman replied. "Yeah, why not, I got nothing to do tomorrow," said the saleswoman as she let out a smoke cloud. "Perfect, I`ll pick you up from your place at noon tomorrow, is that strawberry?" said the salesman. "Yeah, always, you`re carrying grape aren`t you?" said the saleswoman. "So sharp of you, as expected from my childhood friend," said the salesman as the two had a quick vape before walking off to grab some lunch.
Hey, even the side characters can have their moments.
7:30 pm back at the hotel
"There you are," said Ishigami as he saw Chika sitting in the hotel lobby waiting. "Oh hey Ishigami," said Chika as she got up and hugged Ishigami. "Hey, did you have fun exploring the city?" Ishigami asked. "Yeah, I got to eat lots of different food, you look like you had fun at the arcade," said Chika as she noticed the bag of prizes to which Ishigami chuckled. "Yeah, I had a little too much fun, you want some of them?" said Ishigami."We can do that later, let`s hit the bathhouse, I`m tired from all the walking," said Chika as she stretched herself. "Yeah, it`s pretty cold," said Ishigami as the two walked back to their room.
"Man this bath is nice, just what I need on a cold day," said Ishigami as he laid back in the pool of hot water. "Mind if I join you?" said Chika as she walked into the bathhouse with only a towel. "Chika, what are you doing here? Isn`t there a female section?" said Ishigami. "This is an open bath area, I`m coming in so turn your head around and don`t turn until I tell you," said Chika to which Ishigami turned around and Chika joined Ishigami in the water.
"Okay calm down, we`re only both naked in the bath," Ishigami thought as he struggled to maintain his composure. "This is great, wouldn`t you say?" said Chika as she leaned back. "Yeah, it is," said Ishigami trying to think about something else. "What`s the matter, you look like you`re having a hard time," said Chika. "Yeah, when you have a beautiful girl next to you practically naked, it`s very easy to remain composed," Ishigami thought sarcastically as he tried not to lose self-control. "I`m fine, just not used to the hot water," said Ishigami.
"So how was your day?" said Chika. "Went to the mall, got your gift, a tourist approached me and bought one of the prizes I won, what about you?" said Ishigami as he poured hot water over his head. "Same thing as you, although I bought a scarf for a girl who lost her scarf," said Chika. "That was nice of you," said Ishigami as he gave Chika a headpat. "Geez, I`m not a little kid," said Chika as she splashed some water on Ishigami. "Hey now, I`ll dump this whole pool on you," said Ishigami as he splashed some water back.
"Where are you looking?" said Chika as she noticed Ishigami`s eyes were wandering. "Oh, just looking around the pool," said Ishigami. "You were looking at my boobs weren`t you?" said Chika with a smug grin. "I wasn`t," said Ishigami as he turned red. "Maybe once we get further in our relationship, I`ll let you touch them," said Chika as she propped her chest up. "Damn it Chika, now is not the time." Ishigami thought as he was having a hard time controlling himself. "I`m pretty sure I`ve touched them a few times albeit accidentally," said Ishigami to which Chika turned red. "It`s getting a bit too hot, I`m gonna get out," said Chika as she got up from the pool.
"Hey uh..." Ishigami started to say as he saw a magnificent sight. "Hmm, what is it?" Chika asked seeming confused. "Your towel, I can see everything," said Ishigami to which Chika turned red as she forgot to cover up as she left the pool. "Ekkkk" Chika screamed as she frantically tried to cover up. "Boobs," Ishigami thought as he passed out with a nosebleed. 'Ishigami, don`t die on me?" said Chika as she tried to revive a fallen Ishigami. "I can die happy now," Ishigami thought as he had just witnessed heaven.
20 minutes later
"What happened?" Ishigami asked as he regained consciousness. "You passed out in the bath, so I had to pull you out so you didn`t get blood in the pool" Chika explained as she got up from the pool chair. "Wait did you?" Ishigami asked as he noticed that his lower part was covered with a towel. "Yeah, I had to," said Chika as she blushed slightly. "Oh god, she saw my package," Ishigami thought as he face-palmed himself. "Let`s call it even then," said Chika as she was still flustered that Ishigami saw all of her goods. "Yeah let`s do that," said Ishigami as the two got changed and went back to their room.
"Man that sucks, she saw my thing, but I got to see her maidenhood," Ishigami thought as he took a sip of his cola. "Hey Ishigami, I wanna play that game you brought with you, let's play," said Chika from the couch. "Yeah, give me a second," said Ishigami, throwing his cola away before walking back. "I thought you didn`t like video games considering you were never interested in them back at Shuchi`in," said Ishigami as he plugged the Switch into the TV.
"My Mom never let me play video games at home, I never said I didn`t like video games," said Chika as she sipped some barley tea. "That makes sense, you always like board games so it wouldn`t be strange if you liked video games, it`s basically a virtual board game if you think about it," said Ishigami as he booted a copy of Diablo 3. "Here, try to keep up," said Ishigami as he handed Chika a controller. "Oh don`t underestimate me Ishigami," said Chika as the two played Diablo 3 together for the rest of the night.
December 25th, 8:00 am
"Hey wake up," said Chika as she shook Ishigami. "Mhmm? What is it?" Ishigami asked as he woke up. "It`s Christmas" Chika said excitedly. "Yeah, yeah, I`m still a bit tired from playing Diablo all night," said Ishigami as he brushed his teeth. "We`ve got a long day of fun today, our first destination is going to take an hour and a half to get there," said Chika. "She`s like a little kid celebrating Christmas for the first time," Ishigami thought as he put his jacket on. "We`ll go wherever you want, planning isn`t exactly my thing," said Ishigami.
"I knew you would say that so I`ve prepared all the events for today, don`t worry about money, we still have the money my parents gave us for vacation," said Chika as she pulled out the envelope with the money. "Our Uber is downstairs, let`s get going," said Chika as she put her shoes on. "This oughta be a fun day," Ishigami thought as anything Chika planned was guaranteed to be an unpredictable adventure.
Rusutsu Resort Amusement Park
"This place is packed," said Ishigami as they walked through the amusement park. "Well it is Christmas Day, wanna get on a roller coaster?" said Chika as she pointed to a stand-up roller coaster ride. "Sure why not, can you handle a rollercoaster?" Ishigami asked. "Of course I can, I`m not scared of roller coasters," Chika said boldy. "If you say so," said Ishigami as the two of them got in line for the ride.
"I thought you said you could handle a roller coaster," said Ishigami as he helped Chika walk down the platform. "I thought I was going to fall off," said Chika as she was still shaken up. "So I guess the Space Shot is out of the question," said Ishigami as he looked at the 60-meter-high ride. "Ishigami, I don`t wanna die on Christmas," said Chika with a look of dread. "Okay okay, what about the go-karts?" said Ishigami. "Okay, at least I won`t fall off that," said Chika as she followed Ishigami to the go-cart course.
"So we did the roller coaster, go-karts, mirror house, haunted house, and merry-go-round," said Chika as they stopped at a cafe for lunch. "Slow down, we don`t have to go on every ride here, we`d have to come here tomorrow as well," said Ishigami as he took a bite of his fries. "I know, I just want to experience everything here, we don`t get to come here often," said Chika as she took a bite of her pasta.
"Well is there any ride you want to go on before the end of the day?" Ishigami asked as he took a slice of pizza from their shared pizza. "Probably the Ferris Wheel, no trip to an amusement park is complete without it," said Chika. "Okay, we can go on some more rides and then go on the Ferris Wheel," said Ishigami. "Okay, let`s finish up," said Chika as she hurriedly finished her lunch. "Slow down, it`s not a race, we still have time," said Ishigami as he took a sip of soda.
"I`m starting to understand why amusement parks are popular among couples," Ishigami thought as they got off the Swing Around ride. "You like the tall rides huh?" said Chika as she took a bite of some cotton candy. "Yeah, tall rides don`t scare me, I can go on all of them no problem," said Ishigami. "Guess there`s still so much I don`t know about you," said Chika. "You said you wanted to go on the Ferris Wheel right? We should get in line before it gets too packed" said Ishigami as he noticed that there was a manageable line currently at the Ferris wheel. "Yeah, let`s get on line then," said Chika as the two waited in line for the Ferris Wheel.
"Wow, look at the view," said Chika as they were on the Ferris Wheel. "Yeah, this amusement park is bigger than I thought," said Ishigami. "Hey Ishigami," said Chika as she took Ishigami`s hand. "Hm? What is it?" said Ishigami. "Thanks for coming with me to the amusement park, this is my first time going to one with a boy alone," said Chika. "Yeah, we don`t get to hang out that often anymore, let`s cherish what we have" said Ishigami as Chika leaned her head on his shoulder. "Can we stay like this for a bit longer?" Chika asked. "Yeah sure," said Ishigami as he and Chika enjoyed the view together.
"Wanna stop by the arcade before we leave?" said Ishigami as they got off the Ferris Wheel. "Sure, if you`ll help me win a prize, crane master," said Chika to which Ishigami chuckled as they walked over to the arcade.
At the Arcade
"Come on, just a little bit more," said Chika as she moved the claw. "You gotta time it once the claw is above the plush, press the button" Ishigami instructed. "Okay," said Chika as she pushed the button and the claw descended on the plush. "Come on please, I don`t want to break my wallet trying to get you," said Chika as the claw grabbed the plush. "Alright, I finally got it," said Chika as she pulled the plush from the prize chute.
"Nice," said Ishigami as the two high-fived each other. "Let`s add that to our collection," said Ishigami as he placed the plush with the prizes that he won from the other machines. "At this rate, we`ll need to buy another suitcase to bring everything back home," said Chika as her stomach growled. "You must be hungry, let`s get some dinner then," said Ishigami.
"Okay, there`s a good restaurant near our hotel, let`s have dinner there," said Chika as they walked out of the arcade. "Okay, we should get going then," said Ishigami as it would take them a while to get back. "I already called an Uber, they`re waiting for us outside the park," said Chika as their amusement park adventure was done.
Robatayaki Kagari Restaurant
"This is a nice place," said Ishigami as they walked into the restaurant. "Yeah I hear this is one of the most popular restaurants in Hokkaido, table for two," said Chika as they were led to their table. "If I had known we were going to a restaurant like this, I would have dressed up more," said Ishigami as they sat down. "Don`t worry so much, let`s just have fun tonight" said Chika as their waiter walked up to them.
"Hello welcome to Robatayaki Kagari, may I take your order," said the waiter. "I`d like to try the Robatayaki 12-course A meal," said Chika. "Good choice, what about you sir?" said the waiter as he turned to Ishigami. "I`ll do the Robatayaki 12-course B meal," said Ishigami. "Alright, the food will be out in 15 minutes, please make yourselves comfortable," said the waiter as took their menus before walking away.
"So anything new?" Ishigami asked as they waited for their food. "Not much, did you see how Miyuki and Kaguya are spending their Christmas?" said Chika. "I haven`t checked how are they?" Ishigami asked as Chika pulled out her phone. "Oh, they`re at Disneyland in LA," said Ishigami as Chika showed him a selfie of the two together at Disneyland back in America.
"Oh nice, though I`m feeling some deja vu here," said Ishigami as they had just gone to the amusement park. "Yeah I guess we had the same plans as them" said Chika as she put her phone down. "Are they coming back to Japan during their winter break?" Ishigami asked as he sipped some tea. "Yeah, they said they`ll be back around New Year's Eve, so we`ll see them after our vacation," said Chika as the waiter walked up to their table with their food.
"Here you are, dinner is served, please enjoy," said the waiter as he placed the food on the table before walking away. "Perfect, I`m so hungry," said Chika as she started on her food. "Wow, this is so good, I don`t usually get to eat this good, but this is delicious," said Ishigami as he took a bite of the Wagyu filet.
"You don`t eat fancy that often?" said Chika as she had some of her sashimi. "Not really, we do go out to eat, but nothing like this, my parents think it`s a waste of money to eat something like this all the time" Ishigami replied. "I can see that, stuff like this should only be eaten in moderation," said Chika. "Yeah nothing beats a good burger or a bowl of ramen," said Ishigami as he sliced his scallop.
"How are things back in Tokyo?" Chika asked as she ate some beef filet. "Just the usual, work and college" Ishigami replied as he had his burger. "How is Miko?" Chika asked as Ishigami poured her some tea. "Same as always, I wish she would loosen up a bit, she`s gonna stress herself out if she doesn`t change things" Ishigami replied as he ate some swordfish with some rice. "She will, college has more freedom than we when were attending Shuchi`in," said Chika as she had some snow cabbage. "Yeah despite there being more responsibilities, I feel more free than when I was in Shuchi`in with there being no dress code and disciplinary committee," said Ishigami as he had some of his abalone.
"Are you going to finish that?" Chika asked as she noticed that Ishigami hadn`t touched his turnip in the sauce. "Go for it, it`s not my thing," said Ishigami. "Don`t mind if I do" said Chika as she helped herself to Ishigami`s untouched food. "Here you are," said the waiter as he placed two goblets of ice cream on the table as the two were almost done with their main course. "Ice cream," said Chika as she quickly dug into her melon ice cream. "Slow down it`s not a race, hm, not bad, this vanilla is way different than anything we have back home," said Ishigami as he had some of his ice cream.
"That was good," said Chika rubbing her stomach as the waiter gave Ishigami the check. "Let me see the bill, 35000 yen, not as bad as I thought," said Ishigami as he looked over the bill. "Here," said Chika as she handed Ishigami some bills from her back pocket.
"Yeah, I`ll go pay the bill, anywhere else you wanna go before we go back to the hotel?" said Ishigami as he got up. "Oh there is a place I wanna see," said Chika as she stretched herself."Okay, lead the way then, I need to walk off all that food," said Ishigami as the two walked out of the restaurant.
Odori Park
"I gotta say, you sure did your homework, this is a nice place" said Ishigami as they walked through the park covered in Christmas lights. "Yep, this is a popular tourist sight in Hokkaido, particularly on Christmas," said Chika as she bought more souvenirs from the nearby stores. "Guess I`ll buy something as well," said Ishigami as he bought some snacks and trinkets as well. "Let`s take a picture," said Chika as she took out a phone and took a selfie together.
"I want one with the Christmas tree behind us, excuse me," said Chika as she walked up to a male tourist. "Yeah sure, where do you want the picture?" the tourist asked as Chika handed him her phone. "Okay, let`s go then," said Chika as she grabbed Ishigami and led him to the big Christmas tree.
"Okay 1,2,3, cheese," said the male as he took a picture of them in front of the tree. "Thank you very much, this looks good," Chika said to the male tourist as he walked away. "Send the pictures to me when you get the chance," said Ishigami as he helped pick up some of Chika`s bags. "It`s getting late, ready to head back to the hotel?" said Chika. "Yeah, it`s been a long day," said Ishigami as the two returned to the hotel.
Back at the hotel
"Ready to exchange gifts?" Chika asked as they were back in their hotel room. "Yeah, I`m ready," said Ishigami as he put their shopping bags on the table. "Here, I hope you like it," said Ishigami as he handed Chika the gift bag. "Oh you got me a purse, I`ve been wanting a new one for ages," said Chika as she pulled the pink purse out. "Guess I made the right call on the purse," Ishigami thought as he breathed a sigh of relief. "Here`s your gift, I hope you like it," said Chika as she handed Ishigami a bag.
"Oh, a massage gun, interesting," said Ishigami as he pulled out a box containing the massage gun. "Do you like it?" Chika asked as Ishigami inspected the gift. "I`ve never used one before, I`ve heard about athletes using this, but I think this will be useful," said Ishigami as he seemed pleased with the gift. "I`m glad you like it," said Chika as the two smiled at each other. Merry Christmas," said Ishigami as they shared a hug to which they heard a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" said Ishigami as he opened the door as a hotel employee stood outside. "Good evening, I was instructed to bring you a package dropped off last night," said the hotel employee as he handed Ishigami a package. "Oh uh, thank you, may I ask who this is from?" Ishigami asked. "I`m not sure who it was from, please enjoy the rest of your night," said the hotel employee as he bowed before excusing himself.
"Who was that?" Chika asked as Ishigami brought the package to the table. "Just a hotel employee had something for us, I wonder what it could be," said Ishigami as he opened the package. "Oh, this must be from my parents," said Chika as she pulled out a bottle of nonalcoholic champagne and 3 boxes of chocolates. "Fancy stuff, we`re still a bit too young to drink the actual thing," said Ishigami as he checked the bottle out. "Let`s open the bottle now, I`ll go get the glasses," said Chika as she grabbed some glasses from a cabinet.
"Cheers," said Ishigami and Chika as they tapped glasses and drank the champagne. "That was fun, shopping for a gift on Christmas Eve," said Chika as she sipped some champagne. "Yeah sometimes it`s fun exploring a new city on your own, guess I`ll try one of the chocolates here," said Ishigami as he popped a chocolate in his mouth. "Huh? it`s pretty good, but there`s a slight aftertaste" Ishigami thought as he tasted the chocolate.
"Let me have some too," said Chika as she took some chocolate. "Pretty good, although it taste unusual," said Chika as she popped a couple of chocolates in her mouth. "Want some more champagne," Ishigami asked as he poured some more into his glass. "Sure, it`s not so often we can drink," said Chika as Ishigami poured her another glass of champagne. "Let`s have some snacks with the champagne," said Ishigami as he pulled a bag of chips out from his duffel.
An hour later
"Geez, what was in the chocolate?" Ishigami thought as he felt flushed and a bit tipsy as the two had eaten quite a lot of chocolate along with some other snacks. "Contains whiskey? Oh boy" said Ishigami as he checked the box of chocolates they had just consumed. "Ishigami are you okay?" said Chika as she leaned forward towards Ishigami with her cleavage showing. "Oh shit, I can see it," Ishigami thought. "You`re sweating, here let me wipe it off you," said Chika as she came up to Ishigami`s face and wiped off the sweat. "Is she drunk too?" Ishigami thought as he noticed that Chika`s face was also flushed.
"Say Ishigami, I`m feeling a bit hot, could you help me cool down?" said Chika as she started to unbutton her. shirt "Wait hold on," said Ishigami as he tried to stop Chika, but not before stumbling and slipping and taking Chika with him down the bed.
"Uh, Ishigami" Chika started to say as Ishigami got on top of her. "She`s so close and she smells nice. I don`t think I can hold back anymore," said Ishigami as his face was red as he got closer to Chika. "Wait Ishigami, I`m not ready yet," said Chika as it seemed that they were going to take the next step in their relationship. "Chika, I..." Ishigami said before he passed out cold likely from the whiskey bonbons. "Ishigami, what are you? Oh I`m feeling sleepy," said Chika as she yawned before falling asleep.
December 26th
"What happened last night?" said Ishigami as he got up with a slight headache. "Wait, why is Chika next to me?" Ishigami thought as he noticed Chika was cuddling him. "Oh, good morning, last night was something else huh?" said Chika to which Ishigami was filled with dread. "Last night, we didn`t?" Ishigami stammered as he was worried he experienced nirvana a bit too early. "No, we both had too much of the bonbons last night and passed out before that was even an option," said Chika as she got up from the bed. "Geez, I guess my alcohol tolerance isn`t that good or we were tired from yesterday," Ishigami thought as he brushed his teeth.
"Alright so our flight is at 6 pm today and we have to check out of the hotel by 2:00 pm, why don`t we go souvenir shopping today as the last activity?" said Chika as they were having breakfast. "Sounds like a plan, I didn`t have a chance to buy any souvenirs," said Ishigami as he sipped some orange juice. "Alright then, let`s make the most of the time we have left here," said Chika as they finished up breakfast.
Stellar Place Sapporo Mall
"Geez, if the bonbons hadn`t gotten in the way, were we going to go beyond that point?" Ishigami thought as they were souvenir shopping at the mall. "Hello? Earth to Ishigami," said Chika as she noticed Ishigami seemed spaced out. "Oh, what`s up?" said Ishigami as he snapped back. "You`ve been out of it since this morning, everything okay?" Chika asked. "Oh, it must be the chocolate from last night," said Ishigami.
"Yeah, I think we weren`t supposed to eat that whole box in a night, so what are you planning to get regarding the remaining souvenirs?" said Chika. "I`m probably going to get my parents some tea and snacks, for the others probably some trinkets and snacks," said Ishigami as he looked through his shopping bags. "You had the same idea as me," said Chika as they walked into another store.
"How many souvenirs are you planning to get?" said Ishigami as he saw Chika carrying quite a lot. "I have to get souvenirs for my family and the girls as well," said Chika as she paid for some more souvenirs. "Let me give you a hand, did you consider how are you going to get everything home?" said Ishigami as he took some bags Chika was carrying.
"Not to worry, I bought another suitcase," said Chika as she wheeled her second suitcase. "Of course you did, we only have 2 more hours before we have to be at the airport, so buy what you want now," said Ishigami as he checked his phone. "Okay, better kick it into overdrive," said Chika as she quickly went to each store buying what she could to which Ishigami couldn`t help but sigh as even he had trouble keeping up with Chika`s energy.
At the airport
"Aww man our vacation is over," said Chika as they sat at the terminal waiting for their flight. "Yeah, it was a fun couple of days, but we got too many souvenirs," said Ishigami as he put some souvenirs in a separate duffel bag he had bought earlier. "Yeah I guess we overdid it," said Chika as she had to bring back two full suitcases and a stuffed backpack back home. "We should get going, our flight is about to take off soon," said Ishigami as he gathered his luggage upon hearing the announcement that their flight was boarding. "Yeah, goodbye for now Hokkaido," said Chika as their Hokkaido vacation came to an end.
Tokyo
"I`m back," said Ishigami as he opened the door to his apartment. "Welcome back, did you have a fun time with Fujiwara-senpai?" Miko asked from the couch as she was watching TV. "It was a fun time, I got you a souvenir," said Ishigami as he put a bag on the living room table. "I`ll be in my room if you need me," said Ishigami as he took his luggage to his room to unpack. "Man, that was an interesting few days," Ishigami thought as he cleaned out his duffel bag.
"Hey Ishigami, did you remember to finish your break homework?" Miko asked as she poked her head in her room. "Aww crap, I forgot," Ishigami said in dread as Miko sighed. "Come on, I`ll help you out, be grateful," said Miko. "Yeah, yeah," said Ishigami as he was expecting to unwind and relax after his 4-day vacation, but homework had other plans.

I hope you all enjoyed the chapter. Sorry the chapter took so long, I had to do some research on the places they went in the story, all these places exist in real life so I had to narrow it down to choices that would make the story a bit more realistic. Man, I really want to go to Japan at some point.
Most of the chapters in this story won`t be as long as this one. I just decided to cram everything in one chapter for the second half of the Christmas arc. Let me know if you want me to write more long chapters like this one or shorter chapters like I normally do.
