To lessen her guilt, she invited Ohma for dinner in a fancy restaurant somewhere in Tokyo.

"Why did you bring me here?" The question had kaede freezing in the middle of turning the page of the menu.

"It's been a while since we went out together. " Kaede replied turning her attention back to the book in her hands.

"Is this a date?" Ohma teased,but he could see the truth in it, She is still carrying guilt about the robbery incident.

"Would you like some souffles and perhaps a steak?or honey lemon chicken? She asked.

While waiting for their foods, Ohma handed her a square box.

"What is that?" Kaede asked confusingly.

Ohma shrugged his shoulder, "open it for you to see"

Kaede frowned as she peeked out what was inside the box.

Kaede closed it immediately and handed it back to him

"You didn't do anything stupid, right?" She raising her brows.

Ohma's responded with a devilry smirk made kaede slammed the table as she rose up from her seat.

She felt embarrassed when she realized that all gazes turned to her for her reaction.

She sat back and adjusted her glasses. " It's against Kengan Association rules. The investigation is ongoing. Let the authorities do their job." She spoke in low voice.

The waiter arrived and served the platter of food they ordered.

Ohma was sitting on the bed, drying his hair with a towel, when kaede came out of the bathroom wearing her night dress.

His gaze directly shifted to her. "Did the thief see you in that dress?

"Huh?" She lost for a moment on his sudden question. " No, I was wearing a pair of pajamas that time"

Reaching out to her, Ohma pulled kaede into a reassuring hug. "I'm sorry kaede, I wasn't here to protect you, i'm glad your safe"

His words melted her heart, a smile lifts the corners of her lips.

She doesn't hide her blush from him this time as she feels the tickle of butterflies fluttering around inside her stomach.
