Hey Guys! Crescent Rider here and I welcome you to the crossover of Wednesday and Total Drama Island! But before you all begin, there are some things I want to clarify to you all first.
Wednesday's powers from the Netflix series will NOT be implemented since I find them unnecessary for the fanfic. Complain all you want, my decision is clear.
Second, There will be a single OC here because have no intentions of pairing Wednesday with a canon character and I intend to keep iconic couples together rather than apart unlike the canon. So bear this in mind.
Third, I will use Shuckle2001's Total Loud Series as reference material instead of the Canon Total Drama Series. The reason is that I favor the cross-fanfic over the canon.
Lastly, I might need some assistance since the only thing I know about Wednesday Addams is her counterpart in the Netflix Series. Anything outside of that is unfamiliar to me.
That is all I have to say and enjoy the two-part episode of Total... Drama... Island!
Disclaimer: I don't own Total Drama Island and Wednesday. Only the Story and OC...
Muskoka, Ontario
The camera goes live and shows a shabby dock over a lake. Then came a tall, slim man with black hair and eyes, wearing a dark turquoise collared shirt over a white undershirt with rolled-up sleeves, dark green cargo pants, and dark green rubber shoes.
"Yo! We're coming to you live from Camp Wawanakwa, somewhere in Muskoka, Ontario. I'm your host, Chris McClean!" Chris introduced as he appeared in view, "Dropping season one of the hottest new reality show on television, right now!"
Chris then walks onto the dock as he provides the details of the show, "Here's the deal, 24 Campers have signed up to spend eight weeks right here on this crumpy old summer camp. They'll compete against each other, then have to face the judgment of their fellow campers."
"Every three days, one team will either win a reward, or watch one of their team members walk down the Dock of Shame, take a ride on the Loser Boat, and leave Total Drama Island, for good," Chris continued, then walked up to the campsite, "Their fates will be decided here, at the dramatic campfire ceremonies where each week, all but one camper will receive a marshmallow,"
Chris would grab one of the sticks skewering a marshmallow, and toss it into his mouth, "In the end, only one will be left standing and will be rewarded cheesy tabloid fame and a small fortune, which let's face it, they'll probably blow in a week. To survive, they'll have to battle. Black flies, Grizzly Bears, Disguising camp food, and... Each other!"
"Every moment will be caught on one of the hundreds of cameras situated all over the camp," Chris explained as multiple shots of placed cameras are seen on a bird's nest, and a tiki statue,
"Who will crumble under the pressure?" Chris questioned, "Find out here, on Total! Drama! Island!"
~Total Drama Intro Theme~
Several Cameras and Set Equipment were popping out of several spots and turned on, then came the Director's Clipper clapped once.
~Dear Mom and Dad, I'm doing fine!~
~You guys are on my mind~
the camera zoomed through Camp Wawanakwa, Chris was seen sitting on his director chair, then towards the highest cliff of the island, and diving down into the center of a small water ring.
~You asked me what I wanted to be. But I think the answer is plain to see~
Under the water, Owen let out a fart that knocked out a fish, and above water were Bridgette and Geoff lovingly looking at each other until they flinched when they smelled Owen's fart, and an eagle snagged the knocked-out fish as it surfaced.
In another area, DJ was in the middle of the forest communing with nature and its wildlife until the eagle from earlier dropped the fish. Causing all the animals to bite him and winds up screaming and flailing around the forest.
~I wanna be famous!~
Not too far, Duncan laughed at the scene before noticing Courtney standing near him with a look of disapproval for his reaction.
But as DJ kept running with animals biting around his body, two other Contestants, a teen boy, and a teen girl, were taking turns in a competition in which they threw knives at the apples on top of their respective heads.
They glanced at the screaming DJ and shrugged their shoulders before continuing onward with their activity, however, the camera shifted away before any knives were shown to be thrown.
~I wanna live close to the sun~
~Well pack your bags, cause you're already in one~
In another area, Leshawna and Heather were on a rubber raft fighting until it went over a waterfall and they started screaming while Harold was standing in the middle of an old cracked log practicing his skills until Izzy came in a swing and hit him and an old outhouse where Lindsay pops out with her skirt down exposing her panties to the world.
~Everything to prove, nothing in my way~
~I'll get there one day...~
~Cause I wanna be famous!~
In the main lodge, Chef was in the middle of cooking with his a dipped inside a large pot and eyeing Noah and Ezekiel, who were tied up and trembling in fear while next to them is Tyler trying to best Eva in an arm wrestling match until the latter dominates him easily and even caused a minor dislocation of his elbow.
Outside of the Lodge, Katie and Sadie were sitting by the steps near the beach and admiring a shirtless Justin as he admires himself with two handheld mirrors.
~Na-Na-Na-Na-Na!~
~Na-Na-Na-Na!~
~Na-Na-Na-Na!~
In another shot near the ocean, A Seagull with a plastic six ring on its neck was floating and salmon jumped overhead only for a Shark to do the same and eat the salmon whole while a tentacle popped out and took the seagull below the water.
~I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous!~
~I wanna be! I wanna be! I wanna be famous!
At the Dock of Shame, Beth comes in and shows off her talent in whirling a flaming baton before tossing it in the air the sun is shown in display before it turns to night and the camera goes to Gwen and Trent leaning in with smiles on the faces.
But their moment was disturbed when Cody appeared in between them and the camera zooms out to see Chris and everyone else whistling the tune by the campfire
Total Drama Island
"Alright! It's time to meet our first eleven contestants. We told them they'd be all staying at Five Star Resort. If they seem a little T.O'ed, that's why," Chris explained,
The first contestant to arrive by speedboat was a short girl with a brown side ponytail and two moles with the bottom being a bit larger than the one above. She wears a long green shirt with one side tied, pink tight pants, and white shoes. Her luggage only consisted of a suitcase with orange flowers and wore thick glasses and braces.
"Beth, what's up?" Chris greeted, and Beth ran up to him with a hug,
"It's so incredulous to meet you!" Beth enthusiastically said, "Wow, you're much shorter in real life,"
"Um... thanks," Chris slowly thanked while Beth waved at the camera,
Then the second contestant arrived at the dock and it was a tall and bulky man wearing a white cap, a dark green shirt with white highlights on the neck, sleeves, and waistline and a large dark orange D on the center, short jeans, and a pair of sandals. On hand were two large duffle bags that he easily held in each hand,
"DJ," Chris greeted,
"Yo! Chris McClean, How's it going?" DJ greeted back along with a high five, "You sure you got the right place here? Where's the hot tub at?"
"No, dawg. This is it, Camp Wawanakwa!" Chris said, and DJ furrowed his brows before taking his luggage to the other end of the dock where Beth was,
"Hmph, Look a lot different on the application form," DJ noted as he looked around,
The third contestant to arrive on the docks was a goth girl with black/dark teal dyed hair in a shaggy bob and wearing dark teal lipstick. Her outfit consists of a black corset with green and admiral blue sleeves that show her midriff and cleave, a black and turquoise square pattern pencil miniskirt, greenish gray tights, and black knee-high boots. Her luggage consisted of a large suitcase and a bag.
"Hey, Gwen!" Chris greeted,
"You mean we're staying here," Gwen questioned,
"No, you're staying here," Chris clarified, then pointed a certain direction with his thumb, "My crib is an airstream with A/C, that way,"
"I did not sign up for this," Gwen stated as she glared at Chris' face,
"Actually, you did," Chris reminded as he pulled a stack of papers from his back,
Only for Gwen to grab them, tear them into two, and drop them into the water. Though Chris wasn't too concerned as he pulled out another copy of the papers, "The great thing about lawyers is, they make lots of copies,"
"I am not staying here," Gwen said as she picked up her luggage and planned to walk out,
"Cool, I hope you can swim though. Cause your ride, just left," Chris noted as the boat left the dock,
Gwen's response was to shoot a side-eye glare at the host, "Jerk!"
After she joined the two other contestants, the boat arrived with the fourth contestant with music playing.
A blond-haired man wearing a cowboy hat, yellow bead necklace, an open pink shirt that shows his muscular body, teal blue shorts, and teal blue flip flops. He was pumping his arms until the boat reached the docks, jumped off in style, and gave the boat a thumbs up after his luggage was tossed to him.
"Chris McClean!" He greeted with a hyped tone, and fist bumps with the host, "Sup man! It's an honor to meet you, man,"
"The Geoff-ster!" Chris greeted back, "Welcome to the island, man!"
"Thanks, man," Geoff thanked,
"If they say man one more time, I'm going to puke," Gwen stated,
After sharing one last high five between Chris and Geoff, the latter joins with the others while the fifth contestant arrives at the docks, "Everybody, this is Lindsay!"
The girl in question is a tall long-haired blond with blue eyes and an hourglass figure. Her attire consists of a blue Dodger bandana that matches her eye color, a tight brown tank top layered with a red tube top that shows her cleavage and endowed breasts, an orange rancid mini-skirt, and brown leather cowgirl boots with heels.
"Not too shabby," Chris commented towards the camera,
"Hi!" Lindsay greeted with a peppy voice as she rolled luggage, "Okay, you look so familiar,"
"I'm Chris McClean," Chris reminded, and Lindsay narrowed her eyes in confusion, "The host of the show,"
"Oh, that's where I know you from..." Lindsay recognized,
"Uh, yeah," Chris replied, then the sixth contestant arrived on the docks,
Though her presence unnerved the first two contestants, Gwen shot a look at her, and Lindsay just stared. This girl had long black hair and wore a red halter top, green shorts with a black belt, and red and black sandals. She narrowed her eyes at her surroundings after she lowered her shades.
"Heather," Chris introduced, though Heather didn't greet nor spare a glance as she walked towards the other side of the docks,
Then Beth marched up to her, "Hi! Looks like we're new friends for the next eight weeks!"
Heather recoiled in disgust at Beth's spits, then everyone soon turned to the boat with the seventh contestant playing punk rock music through a louder speaker.
The man who has his foot on the speaker is donning a green mohawk, a unibrow with piercings from the top corner of his left eye, nose, and left ear, wears a spiked collar around his neck, a black t-shirt with a skull on it over a long-sleeved cream shirt, dark teal shorts, and red high-top sneakers with no lace.
After the boat stops, he throws his ragged duffle bag on the docks and jumps down with a sneer still on his face.
"Duncan, Dude!" Chris greeted,
"I don't like surprises," Duncan remarked while raising a fist at him,
"Yeah, your parole officer warned me about that, man. He also told me to give him a holler anytime and have you returned to juvie," Chris said, which earned a nonchalant scoff from Duncan
"Okay then," Duncan said, took his duffle bag, and walked towards the other end of the docks. But along the way, he had his eyes on Heather for a remark, "Meet you by the campfire, gorgeous,"
"Drop dead, you skeeze," Heather told off, "I'm calling my parents. You cannot make me stay here!"
Chris was prepared for this as he pulled out the papers again, but he didn't get the chance to tell her as the next boat with the eighth contestant arrived. However, he wasn't riding a boat but skiing on the water. His attire consists of a large red headband, a red tracksuit, and sneakers.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Tyler!" Chris introduced, and Tyler tried to wave at them,
But only caused Tyler to roll across the water, sent flying from the docks, and crash into the pile of luggage. Some contestants groaned and oohed at Tyler's crash, and one of the bags rolled up in the air and crashed into the water with a splash.
"Ugh! My shoes!" Heather complained as she was soaked,
"Wicked wipeout, Man!" Chris praised, and Tyler raised his fist before giving a thumbs up and some of the boys raised their thumbs as well,
As a soaked Heather returned with the group, the boat carrying the ninth contestant arrived and Chris only noticed him after he let out a long sigh. This man had short auburn hair styled into a neck length, red facial hair on his chin, wore glasses, a blue shirt with a burger over a long-sleeve pink shirt, green pants, and light yellow-blue-green shoes. He also carries a keyboard under his arm and a small case next to him.
"Welcome to the camp, Harold," Chris greeted,
Harold doesn't say, instead he surveys his surroundings while the other contestants eyed him. Then Beth was the one who broke the silence, "What's he looking at?"
"So you mean this show is at a yucky summer camp and not some big stage or something?" Harold questioned,
"You got it," Chris affirmed,
Harold was quiet, then he pumped his fist with excitement instead of expressing annoyance towards the horrid conditions, "Yes! That is so much more favorable for my skills,"
Chris shudders as Harold walks over to the other contestants, then regains his composure after the tenth contestant arrives. This man has black hair, and green eyes, and wears a light green shirt with a black paint hand, black pants, and light green-olive shoes. He also carries a guitar case and a large backpack on his back, "Contestant number ten is Trent!"
"Hey, good to meet you, man. I saw you from that figure skating show, nice work," Trent said, and shared a fist pump with Chris,
"Hey, thanks, man, I knew I rocked that show," Chris expressed with pride,
"I saw that," Beth confirmed, "One of the guys dropped his partner on her head. So they got immunity that week,"
"Lucky... I hope I get dropped on my head," Harold hoped,
"Me too!" Lindsay followed,
"So... This is it?" Trent inquired and eyed the other contestants. Heather was twisting the water out of her hair and Harold picks nose while the rest remained silent, "All righty then,"
Trent soon joined the others and gave Gwen a grin after he stood next to her. The latter scowls and turns away, but soon finds herself smiling after a glance at the guitar boy.
What comes next is the boat bringing in the tenth contestant. A girl with blond hair tied with a ponytail, and olive green eyes, wears a blue pullover hoodie, blue-gray drawstring denim shorts, and brown thong sandals. As for her luggage, it consists of a large duffle bag in one hand and a large surfboard in the other, "Hey, what's up,"
"All right, our surfer chick, Bridgette, is here" Chris announced,
"Hmph, Nice board. This ain't Malibu, honey," Duncan remarked,
"I thought we were going to be on a beach," Bridgette assumed,
"We are!" Chris replied though the beach isn't exactly suited nor eco-friendly as it's filled with trash, old tires, a spilled barrel, and a seagull with a plastic six rings on its neck was pulled in by the tide.
Bridgette's response was a disappointed sigh at the poor condition of the beach, "Great..."
"Alright! That makes-" Before Chris could say, Bridgette picked up her back and absentmindedly hit his head with her surfboard, "Ow, darn it! That hurts!"
"Hey guys," Bridgette greeted as she walked over to the other side of the docks,
"Hey!" Geoff grinned, and dashed to Bridgette's left as he was quick with his introduction, "I'm Geoff!"
"What's up," Bridgette greeted, though some of the guys ducked to avoid getting hit by her surfboard,
"Dang!" Harold exclaimed, "Watch the board, man,"
"Hi! I'm Beth!" Beth quickly introduced herself,
"Hey," Bridgette greeted, and the same guys ducked to avoid her surfboard again,
"Okay, we've all met surfer girl, can we get on with the show please?" Heather demanded,
"Looks like someone missed their double cappuccino macchiato this morning," Duncan joked while smirking at Heather,
"Get bent!" Heather rebuked as she glared at the green-haired punk,
Chris would rub the spot where he was hit a few times, then spot the boat carrying the twelfth contestant. But unlike the previous eleven contestants, he seemed a little excited, "Oh man, here he comes!"
The other contestants soon felt curious by the sudden change of tone, then eyed the boat arriving at the docks. A man with short and black messy hair, and grey eyes, wears a dark scarlet t-shirt under a thin obsidian blue hoodie covering his upper face, dark brown sweatpants, and grey running shoes. He also has a wooden bead bracelet wrapped around his right wrist and a medium-sized backpack on his back.
What stands out about him isn't his overall attire, but the fact that he's casually sitting on top of the boat's hard top rather than standing by the bow. Once it arrives, the man stands from the hard top, takes a few steps back, then runs to jump for the boat rails.
As soon as he pressed one of his feet on the boat's rails, he kicked himself upward, performed a mid-air flip, and landed near where Chris was currently standing. Amazingly, the boards of this shabby old dock didn't even crack from the impact of his landing.
"Whoa..." Gwen expressed before a few contestants started clapping. Even Chris got along with the clapping since he was well aware of how shabby and old the dock was,
"Everyone, I'd like you all to meet our twelfth contestant, Caine!" Chris introduced,
Caine pulled down his hoodie and smiled before offering a handshake to the host, "Happy to be here, Chris McClean,"
"Pleasure's all mine, dude. Also, nice flip back there," Chris praised,
"Thanks," Caine said, and went to the other contestants, "Nice to meet you all as well,"
"Hey... Don't you look familiar?" Harold questioned as he squinted his eyes at him,
"Some people say so until it clicks," Caine said,
"Huh..." Harold mouthed, and Caine just shrugged his shoulders over his anonymity, though few contestants couldn't help but feel as curious as Harold.
On the other hand, Chris wouldn't reveal the truth as it spoils the moment the contestants will be shocked by the reveal. Then the thirteenth contestant arrived from the boat, "Camper number 13 is Noah,"
This contestant was a skinny boy with slightly dark skin, brown hair, and eyes, wears a red sweater vest over a collared short-sleeved shirt with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath, olive green jeans, and darker green shoes with a white strap, "Did you get my memo about my life-threatening allergies?"
"I'm sure someone did," Chris replied,
"Good. Is this where we're staying?" Noah inquired with some snide in his tone,
"No, it's your mother's house and we're throwing a party," Duncan replied while cracking his knuckles,
"Cute. Nice piercings, original," Noah sarcastically replied without the slightest change in his expression, "Do them yourself?"
"Yeah! Want one?" Duncan asked, grabbing Noah's lips and holding a needle,
"Ugh, no thanks. Can I have my lips back please?" Noah asked without any changes in his expression and Duncan released him, "Thanks,"
"What's up, y'all? Leshawna in the house!" The fourteenth contestant greeted on the boat, and Harold let out a gasp,
She was a black girl with long black hair made into a long and thick ponytail, wore a beige shirt with a kumquat pattern across the chest area, hoop earrings, jeans, and brown flats. After she disembarks from the boat, she walks up to Chris for a high five, "Yo, Baby, hey, how's it going?"
After a quick high five with Chris, Leshawna joins with others, "Feel free to quit now, save yourself the trouble cause I came to win,"
She first approached DJ and gave him a high five as well, "Oh, what's up my brother, give me some sugar, baby!"
Harold then popped up from behind her, and looked at her overall appearance, "I've never seen a girl like you in real life before,"
"Excuse me?" Leshawna questioned with hands on her hips.
"You're real big," Harold noted, while spreading his arms apart to emphasize his overall opinion of her, "And loud,"
"What did you say to me? Oh, no you didn't!" Leshawna yelled and stomped her way toward Harold with a glare. What stopped a confrontation between her and the ginger nerd was DJ and Bridgette grabbing Leshawna while Harold wasn't fazed by her aggression as he assumed a kung-fu stance, "You have not seen anything yet! I'll show you big, baby!"
"Oh yeah, you want some of this? Well, come on then!" Leshawna challenged,
"Alright, Campers! Settle down," Chris ordered,
After that conflict was sorted out peacefully, the next boat dropped the fifteenth and sixteenth contestants. Both girls wear the same clothes and hairstyle such as their twin high pigtails hair with pink bobbles, black and white striped shirts, pink unbuttoned shorts, and pink wedge slide sandals.
What differentiates between the two is that one is skinny and has tanned skin while the other is white and slightly obese.
"Ladies! Sadie, Katie." Chris said, "Welcome to your new home for eight weeks,"
"Oh my gosh, Sadie look!" Katie pointed out with an excited and peppy tone, "It's a summer camp,"
"Okay! I always wanted to go to summer camp!" Sadie said with the same tone before squealing with excitement,
But after the two best friends joined with the others, the boat carrying the seventeenth contestant arrived. He was a boy with brown hair under a blue winter hat and wore a dull green hoodie, blue jeans, and shoes that matched his hoodie.
"Ezekiel!" Chris greeted, "What's up, man?"
Ezekiel doesn't seem to answer, instead he just looks up at the sky before pointing out, "I think I see a bird,"
Trent and a few others laughed as Chris put a hand on Ezekiel's shoulder, "Okay, look dude. I know you don't get out much, been home-schooled your whole life, raised by freaking prairie people, just don't say much and try not to get kicked off too early, Okay,"
"Yes sir," Ezekiel replied and walked over to the other campers,
"That's just... wow," Gwen expresses as she chuckled about Ezekiel's situation,
After that, the eighteenth contestant arrives. He was a boy with brown hair, blue eyes, and a bit of a chipped tooth. He wears a beige shirt with darker sleeves, waist, and neck with a red and blue horizontal stripe around the center, blue jeans, and green shoes with cream-colored bottoms.
"Cody! The coaster, the Code Meister!" Chris greeted as he shared a high five with him,
"Dude, psyched to be here man," Cody expressed, and strutted over to the other contestants. Specifically, the female contestants, "I see the ladies have already arrived, All right,"
Cody then walked past a few and then went back to them, specifically Leshawna. But before he said a word, Leshawna had her finger over Cody's lips, "Save it short stuff,"
After he backed away, the nineteenth contestant arrived on the dock with a loud thud. She was a bulky girl with a mole on her face, hazel eyes, and black hair in a ponytail. She wears a blue sleeveless top with dark blue gym shorts along with gym socks with two horizontal stripes near the top, one blue and the other dark blue, dark blue sneakers with white bottoms.
"Eva. Nice," Chris greeted as Eva walked towards her fellow contestants, "Glad you can make it,"
As she approached the other contestants, Cody held his hand out for a high five. Only for Eva to drop her bag on his feet.
"Ow!" Cody yelped in pain, and held his aching foot while hopping with the other, "What's in there? Dumbbells?"
"Yes," Eva replied,
Most of the contestants looked nervously at Eva and Duncan looked up to DJ as he said, "She's all yours, man,"
DJ gave an uncomfortable look, but everyone soon forgot about the tension between them and Eva as the twentieth contestant arrived and cheered out in excitement. Chris, on the other hand, flinched at the noise, "Woohoo!"
This boy was quite large with black eyes and blond hair, wore a white t-shirt with a blue maple leaf in the center, moss green jeans, and white and yellow shoes, "Chris! What's happening? Hahahaha! This is awesome! Woohoo!"
"Owen!" Chris greeted, and shared his enthusiasm, "Welcome!"
Owen quickly took Chris into a large bear hug, and a cracking sound could even be heard, with the host wincing in response, "Awesome to be here, man! Yeah! Man, this is just so..."
"Awesome?" Gwen finished with arms crossed and smiled at the host's misery,
"Yes! Awesome! Woooooo!" Owen expressed, then eyes on Gwen, "Are you going to be on my team?"
"Oh, I sure hope so," Gwen sarcastically said while twirling a finger around.
Owen continues to cheer loudly, and then Chris gets his attention by clearing his throat, "You about finished?"
Owen then releases the host from his hug but doesn't look sheepish in the slightest, "Sorry, dude. I'm just so psyched!"
This earned a chuckle from Caine, and offered a handshake as Owen joined with the others, "Welcome to the show, Owen,"
Much like Chris' position, Owen pulled him into a bear hug and showed nothing but laughter before patting his large arm, "Okay, big guy! I know you're psyched,"
"Oh, sorry," Owen quickly apologized, put Caine down, and gave a real handshake afterward,
"Alright, everyone. Here comes Courtney!" Chris announced as the boat carrying the twentieth contestant has arrived,
She has light brown skin and hair that is a little past her neck and wears a beige shirt along with skin-tight green pants, and dark brown open-toed shoes. Chris would take her hand and helped her off the boat, "Thank you,"
She then walks over to the other contestants, "Hi, you must be the other contestants. It's really nice to meet you all,"
"How's it going!" Owen greeted and rapidly shook Courtney's hand, "I'm Owen,"
"Nice to meet you Oooooo, wow..." Courtney greeted, though she trailed off when she looked at the other side of the dock and saw the twenty-first contestant of the show,
He was a gorgeous man with perfectly tanned skin, flawless black hair, and a fit and well-maintained body, he wore a dark green shirt, worn-out jeans, and dark green sandals.
Most of the contestants were staring at him, all of the girls and even Owen were smitten and the boys just stared at him with some amazement. The only ones not affected were Caine and DJ.
"This is Justin!" Chris greeted after Justin walked onto the dock, "Welcome to Total Drama Island,"
"Thanks, Chris," Justin thanked, and looked around the area, "This is great,"
"Just so you know, we picked you based entirely on your looks," Chris informed,
"I can deal with that," Justin shrugged, not offended at the very least, and walked over to the others,
"I like your pants," Owen complimented,
"Thanks, man," Justin thanked,
"Cause they look like they're all worn out," Owen chuckled, as he continued to stare at certain areas, "Did you buy them like that?"
"Uh, no. Just had them for a while," Justin replied,
"Oh... cool," Owen awkwardly said before facepalming as he muttered to himself, "Stupid!"
"Hey everyone!" Chris called out as the boat carrying the twenty-third contestant of the show arrived, "Izzy!"
This was a girl with orange hair, lipstick, and green eyes, wearing a grass green top that completely exposes her belly, a bracelet on her right wrist, and green shorts with a light green skirt tied around her waist, "Hi Chris!"
But as Izzy waved at the host and walked forward, she ended up tripping right off the boat and hitting her jaw against the dock before falling into the water with a splash.
"Oooooh!" Tyler winced, before laughing, " That was bad,"
"Didn't you roll over the water and crash into a pile of luggage on the way here?" Caine questioned with a raised eyebrow and arms crossed,
"Guys! She can be seriously hurt!" Courtney exclaimed with concern and ran over to the docks,
But the orange-haired girl surfaced from the water, hopped onto the docks, and shook her entire body like a dog would, "That felt so... Good!"
Some of the contestants raised an eyebrow or expressed confusion over Izzy's reaction while Caine just chuckled once more.
"Except for hitting my chin. This is summer camp? That is so cool. Do you have Paper Mache here? Are we eating lunch soon?"
"That is a good call!" Owen responded to the last question of Izzy's
After Izzy joins up with the others, Chris has something to say to them, "Ok campers, before the last girl arrives, I should mention a little something about her. You see, she's a bit of a special case,"
"What kind of special?" Bridgette questioned,
"Does she have like three eyes or something?" Owen asked,
"No..." Chris wronged, and some of the contestants shot weird looks at Owen, "As you may know, this show is obviously in Canada along with all of you originating from said country, but the producers thought it'd be a good idea to open a spot to our neighbor down south. The good ol' U.S.A! So last but not least, hailing from the United States, Jericho, Vermont is Wednesday!"
The boat carrying the final contestant had arrived, and when she stepped out of the boat, every contestant present couldn't help but widen their eyes at the foreigner joining them.
This girl had black hair with two long braids, fringe over her brows, pale complexion, dark brown eyes, and eyeshadow, she wore a long-sleeved black dress with a white collar and cuffs, black long socks with two white strips one larger than the other, and black shoes.
If it wasn't her overall attire that baffled them, it was her vacant expression that she donned. As for her luggage, it consisted of a large black suitcase and an umbrella.
She may not say anything of the matter, but Chris would walk to her with his usual demeanor, "Hey there, Weds. Welcome to Canada,"
"It's Wednesday, McClean," Wednesday nonchalantly corrected,
"...Right," Chris said, before clearing his throat, "So, what do you think?"
Wednesday scanned the surrounding area without turning her head. From the cabins, beach, outhouse, and finally, the other contestants of the show. After a single blink, she turns to Chris with a question, "There won't be any singing?"
"Uh... There won't be any, I think?" Chris awkwardly replied due to the vibe,
"Good," Wednesday said and walked towards the other side of the docks. However, Chris shudders after he was passed from his conversation with Wednesday,
But as she walked over to the others, Bridgette was the first to step up and offer a handshake to the girl, "Hi, Welcome to Canada,"
Wednesday just looked at Bridgette's hand, then her eyes before remarking, "You remind me of someone,"
"Really?" Bridgette asked with some optimism,
"I didn't her at very least," Wednesday bluntly revealed, causing the surfer girl to widen her eyes some more and awkwardly pull her hand back,
"Talk about dark and gloomy," Duncan whispered to the next person, which was DJ, who nodded a few times
"Thise aren't even my best traits," Wednesday openly clarified, which stunned the green-mohawked punk and some of the contestants even took a step back from the girl,
Then she laid her eyes on Owen, who stood out amongst the crowd, "You, on the other hand, remind me of someone I'm quite fond of,"
"Really?" Owen asked with a bright yet awkward tone and expression,
Wednesday just nodded, then set her luggage to the pile, as well as her umbrella. After that, the other contestants shared the only opinion they could think of this foreign contestant, she was downright creepy...
"Okay, first things first, we need a group photo for the promos. Everyone on the end of the dock!" Chris said and everyone did just that,
Then Chris jumps onto the boat with a camera in hand and the contestants grouped in pose, "Okay, one, two, three... Oops! Okay, forgot the lens caps,"
Christ did just that, and aimed the camera at them again, "Okay, hold that pose. One, tw- oh wait, card's full. Hang on,"
"Come on, man," Leshawna complained with an eye roll at Chris, "My face is starting to freeze,"
"Got it, okay! Everyone, say Wawanakwa!" Chris said as he prepared the camera,
"WAWANAKWA!" Almost everyone said but the dock they stood couldn't hold the weight any longer and started to break,
The only ones who caught on were Wednesday and Caine, who managed to jump out of the center before the dock collapsed with the rest of the contestants. However, Wednesday was on the left side and jumped to the stable part of the docks while Caine stood on the opposite side and jumped onto the floating part of a collapsed dock.
Afterward, those two shot a questionable look at Chris, when he doesn't look all too concerned by what just happened. Instead, he only had this to say to them, "Okay guys! Dry off and meet at the campfire pit in 10,"
While Chris jumps to the stable part of the dock, Caine just rolls his eyes at the host's obliviousness with the wet contestants and jumps through a path towards the stable docks,
As soon as he reached that area, he pulled himself up and the only thing wet was his shoes and the rest were dry.
"Not bad," Wednesday remarked,
"Thanks," Caine replied, then went on to help with the wet contestants nearest to the docks,
Campfire Pit...
"This... Is Camp Wawanakwa, your home for the next eight weeks," Chris explained, "The Campers sitting around you with be your cabin mates, your competition, and maybe even your friends, ya dig?" Chris said, and everyone gave looks at each other,
Duncan raises a fist at Harold when the latter grins at him while Caine and Wednesday glance at each other while she's eyeing everyone. Though they stared at each other for a brief period, they turned back to Chris as he continued, "The camper who manages to stay on Total Drama Island the longest without getting voted off will win $100,000!"
"Excuse me, What will be sleeping arrangements be?" Duncan asked, "Because I'd like to request a bunk under her,"
Heather flinched in disgust when Duncan pointed his thumb at her, then she quickly asked the host, "They're not co-ed, are they?"
"Noooo," Chris clarified, which made her and a lot of girls relieved, "Girls get one side of each cabin and dudes get the other,"
"Excuse me, Kyle," Lindsay called, though she caused the host to frown when she mispronounced his name, "Can I have a cabin with a lake view since I'm the prettiest?"
"Okay, you are," Chris sarcastically said, which caused the girl to grin. But he'd make her frown with the truth, "But that's not really how it works here and it's Chris,"
"I have to live with Sadie or I'll die!" Katie pleaded as she held her best friend's hand
"And I'll break out in hives," Sadie added, "It's true,"
"This cannot be happening," Gwen complained, after witnessing everything and everyone over this,
"Awww come on guys!" Owen tried to brighten the mood and wrapped his arms around Gwen and Tyler's necks, "It'll be fun, it's like a big sleepover,"
"At least you don't have to sleep next to him," Tyler remarked at Duncan who noogies a deer he had caught,
"Here's the deal," Chris announced, "We're gonna split you into teams. If I call your name out go stand over there. Gwen, Trent, Heather, Cody, Beth, Lindsay, Tyler, Katie, Owen, Leshawna, Justin, and Noah,"
The called-out campers would stand from the stump chairs and walk over one side of the campfire pit. Chris then tossed a rolled-up banner in their direction and unfurled itself to the team when Owen caught it. It showed a gopher standing on its hind legs and screaming "From this moment on, you will be known as... The Screaming Gophers!"
"Yeah! I'm a Gopher!" Owen cheered, "Woooo!"
"Wait! What about Sadie?!" Katie questioned in distress,
"The rest of you, over here," Chris directed towards the opposite side of the campfire pit, "Geoff, Bridgette, DJ, Caine, Wednesday, Sadie, Izzy, Courtney, Ezekiel, Duncan, Eva, and Harold. Move, move, move!"
"But Katie's a gopher!" Sadie wailed as she's the only one who wasn't moving, " I have to be a gopher!"
"Sadie, is it?" Courtney came up, and put a hand on her shoulder, "Come on, it'll be okay,"
"This is so unfair!" Sadie complained as she walked away with Courtney, "I miss you, Katie!"
"I miss you too!" Katie yelled back from the Gopher side,
"We're on the same island, Sadie. Get over it," Wednesday bluntly advised as Sadie stands with her fellow team,
"Hey, that wasn't nice of you to say," Brigette remarked, and Wednesday just looked at her instead of replying,
"You guys will officially be known as... the Killer Bass!" Chris announced and tossed the red banner into Harold's hands. As it unfurled, it revealed the logo of a fierce-looking bass.
"Awesome!" Harold expressed in awe, "It's like... Amazing,"
"All right, campers, you and your team will be on camera in all public areas during this competition," Chris informed, and it makes sense since this is a reality show and everyone from Canada and possibly around the world is watching them 24/7
CONFESSIONAL - CHRIS
"You will also be able to share your innermost thoughts on tape with video diaries anytime you want," Chris explained as he sat in the outhouse with a camera attached to the door with flies buzzing around, "Let the audience know what you're really thinking. Or just get something off your chest,"
CONFESSIONAL - GWEN
"Um, okay..." Gwen began before looking right into the camera, "So far this sucks,"
CONFESSIONAL - LINDSAY
"I don't get it. Where's the camera guy?" Lindsay inquired with a camera only fixated on her behind,
CONFESSIONAL - LOON
A loon managed to find lipstick and apply it to its lips. But soon widen its eye when it noticed the camera...
CONFESSIONAL - OWEN
"Hey everyone. Check this out," Owen said with a serious tone and expression, "I have something very important to say,"
There was a brief silence in the outhouse, then lets out a fart and started laughing...
CONFESSIONAL - WEDNESDAY
"If I had to share anything at the moment, it would be my opinion of this camp. Horrendous conditions, run-down facilities, potentially polluted waters..." Wednesday listed with her sitting with arms and legs crossed together, "Quite favorable for my tastes, unlike the previous summer camp I once escaped..."
"Alright. Any questions?" Chris asked, and all of the campers remained quiet, "Cool. Let's find your cabins. Gophers, you're in the east cabin. Bass, you're in the west,"
Both teams went to their respective cabins, half for the boys and half for the girls. At the Gopher's girl cabin, Heather was the first to enter the girls' cabin and express an opinion out of them, "Bunk beds? Isn't this a little... Summer camp?"
"That's the idea, genius," Gwen remarked and walked past Heather,
"Ugh, shut up, weird goth girl," Heather rudely said,
"You're so smart," Cody said, who entered the girl's cabins and went for Gwen, "I feel that,"
"Shouldn't you be on the boy's side?" Gwen asked with a harsh tone,
Cody only smiled nervously, before being thrown out of the cabin and landed right near Trent's feet. Though the latter paid no mind to him and went to the boy's side of the cabin.
Chris then walks towards the camera's view while Cody sits up with a mouthful of grass and dirt. Then came Lindsay, "Where are the outlets? I have to plug in my straightening iron,"
"There are some in the communal bathrooms," Chris informed, gesturing his head towards the bathroom area, "Just across the way,"
"Communal bathrooms? But I'm not Catholic," Lindsay said with a confused expression,
"Not Communion, Communal," Chris corrected,
"It means we shower together," Gwen explained as she sat down on the steps, of the cabin, "Idiot,"
"AW NO! COME ON!" Lindsay wailed, causing Gwen and a few other girls to cover their ears due to the volume,
The guys also heard this as Owen, Noah, and Trent peaked out of their side of the cabin to watch the scene,
"I'm glad we're in our cabin with just guys. Know what I mean?" Owen remarked, only to be met with silence and awkward looks. However, he would quickly realize what he had just said and began correcting himself, "I mean no! I didn't mean it like that! I love chicks. Hehe, I just don't wanna sleep near them. Atata-uh, I mean..."
While Owen tries to sort out his words with his cabin mates, Geoff from the Killer Bass Cabins calls out to Chris, "Excuse me, Chris. Is there, uh, a chaperone of any kind in this facility?"
"You're all 16 years old, as old as a counselor in training at a regular summer camp," Chris informed, "So other than myself. You'll be unsupervised. You've got half an hour to unpack and meet me back at the main lodge, starting now,"
Caine then walks over to Geoff and offers a high five at the information provided by Chris himself. Which the latter took as shared their opinion, "Nice!"
But just then, Lindsay let out an extremely loud and high-pitched scream from the Screaming Gopher Cabin and many of the campers went over to see what was up.
"Man, that white girl can scream," Leshawna commented,
Lindsay was standing on top of a wooden stool on one foot and looked horrified at something crawling on the floor: One small cockroach, "What is it?! Kill it, kill it!"
DJ looked down, gasped in utter fright after he saw it, let out a girlish scream, and jumped onto one of the nearby beds. Breaking it upon impact.
"That... was my bed," Gwen said as she gazed at DJ shaking in fear of her now broken bed,
Moments later, Many of the campers began screaming and climbing over the top bunk while a few tried to stomp it with their foot. But the cockroach had proven itself to be quite elusive until it was met with Duncan holding an axe above his head to kill it.
But before he could do the deed, a knife was thrown and it struck the cockroach dead on the floor. This caused everyone to stop screaming and turn to the one responsible for the knife throw, which was Caine standing by the open door.
"It's just a small cockroach, you guys. Don't be so dramatic by it," Caine remarked and picked up the knife with the cockroach still skewered onto it,
Some of the campers shuddered and even gagged in disgust at the sight of it. Caine, on the other hand, paid no attention to their looks and walked outside the Gopher Cabin.
There, he would scrape the cockroach off the tip of his knife by the steps and kick the dead cockroach beneath the cabin. Then he would go to the communal bathrooms to clean the blade.
"Well... That's one way to kill a cockroach," Gwen remained,
"Yeah, it was awesome. Still, I feel like I know him from somewhere," Harold remarked,
Duncan, on the other hand, held the axe onto his shoulder and walked out of the Gopher's cabins. But he would acknowledge Caine's words and knife-throwing skills.
As for Wednesday, who remained by the girl's side of the Killer Bass' cabin, was staring at him from the wooden rails and Caine glanced at her from the corner of his eye. There weren't any words said, just silence then he left to clean his blade of cockroach guts.
Main Lodge
After half an hour had passed, everyone went to the main lodge for today's food. The one serving and cooking the food was a very strong and bulked-up man with a mustache and soul patch, wearing a chef's hat and apron, and rolled sleeves of a beige shirt. This was Chef Hatchet, the Main Lodge's chef and server of food, "Listen up! I serve it three times a day! And you'll eat it three times a day! Grab a tray, pick your food, and sit your butts down NOW!"
"Excuse me. But will we be getting all the major food groups?" Beth inquired as she looked at the tray filled with what was supposed to be 'food',
"Yeah, cause I get hypoglycemic real bad if I don't get enough sugar," Harold informed, though it caused Chef to twitch before frowning,
"You'll get a whole lot of SHUT THE HECK UP!" Chef yelled right into Harold's face, causing the ginger to run off with his tray,
"Have a cow," Owen joked, causing Noah to smirk,
"What was that?!" Chef yelled, causing the two to flinch. Then he gestured for Owen to come over with a finger, "Come closer fat boy! I didn't hear you!"
"Oh, I didn't really say anything important," Owen quickly dismissed, not wanting to occur the Chef's wrath,
"I'm sure you didn't," Chef warned, then turned to Noah after Owen took his tray away, "You! Scrawny kid, give me your plate,"
As Noah complied, Chef threw down extra meat onto his burger. However, the extra meat suddenly jumped back onto the scooper for Chef to harshly throw it down Noah's burger the second time.
After he left, Leshawna tried to engage in a conversation with Eva, "Yo, what's up girl?"
Eva only turned and blinked at her, before taking her tray away. Causing Leshawna to glare at her back, "Oh, it's gonna be like that, is it?"
"NEXT!" Chef yelled, making her flinch,
The next to be served was Lindsay and Gwen, but the former had to question the food she had on her tray, "Excuse me, my nutritionist says I shouldn't eat any white sugar, white flour, or dairy,"
The chef's only response was silence while catching and crushing a buzzing fly in his hand.
"I don't think that's gonna be a problem," Gwen said, and looked down her meat to see it twitch,
"Cool," Lindsay replied, took her tray, and walked over to the rest of the Gophers,
"Ok, I hate to be predictable and complain on the first day. But I think mine just moved," Gwen told, and Chef replied by slamming the meat hard with a kitchen mallet, splattering some of it on him, and her, "Right! Okay then,"
The last to be served was Caine and Wednesday, but when they received their tray. They noticed their meat twitching and the latter's response was to take the tray over to her table.
For the former, he turned to Chef and stretched his hand, "Can I borrow that mallet?"
Chef raises an eyebrow but lends him his kitchen mallet anyway. What comes next is Caine smashing the meat of his burger to stop it from twitching and returns the mallet, "Thanks,"
Chef just watched Caine go with his tray, but he shrugged his shoulders to dismiss the matter. As long as no one complains about his food that is...
Over the next few minutes, almost everyone was hesitant to eat what was cooked and served by Chef Hatchet. The only ones who appeared to be eating normally were Caine and Wednesday, and they were even the first to finish their food. Much to the others' confusion…
CONFESSIONAL - CAINE
"Though the food doesn't appear to be good or tasty. I was taught not to waste my food," Caine admitted, "And if I'm going to be here for the next eight weeks? I might as well take what I can get,"
Moments later, Chris enters the lodge with his usual grin "Welcome to the Main Lodge!"
"Yo, my man. Can we order pizza?" Geoff asked as he turned to the host. Not a moment later, a cleaver grazed past the party boy, making him and almost everyone flinch as the cleaver struck against the door frame,
"Whoa, man! It's cool G! Brown slop is cool!" Geoff exclaimed in distress as Chef glared at him with a large sharp knife in hand, "Hehehe... Right guys?"
Almost everyone in the room nervously nodded while a few sank beneath the table out of fear. Meanwhile, Chris just chuckled before announcing, "Your first challenge begins, in one hour!"
The host then walked out of the cabin, and Katie turned to DJ with a concerned look on her face, "What do you think they'll make us do?"
"It's our first challenge, how hard can it be?" DJ stated, showing little to no worry over the possible first challenge.
One Hour Later...
DJ would later eat his own words when he and all the other campers were now standing at the top of a thousand-foot-high cliff in their respective swimsuits, and standing near the edge of said cliff.
If anyone had to summarize their situation, it would be coming from the same man in question,
"Oh (BLEEP)!"
That's the end of the first part of Total Drama Island's first episode. As for the second part, I will work on it as soon as possible. After that, I won't be working on the next and other episodes until I've finished the first season of my Rick and Morty Fanfic. So be patient for the time being...
If any of you have questions now, let me know and I'll answer them on the beginning notes of Episode's 1 Second Part.
That is all I have to say, and I'll see you all in the next part of Total. Drama. Island!
(For anyone wanting to talk about the intro I've made. Yes, that was intentional as well as the part where Wednesday and My OC's names weren't mentioned. Rest assured, their names will be added at the start of future episodes!)
