AN: Hello! It's been awhile I know. I have had really moody year, mostly with depression. But either way, this is a new Transformers fanfic, I made based on Transformers One movie. Story take many years after the movie. Cybertron us inhabitable and Autobots have crash landed on Earth.

Enjoy and Roll Out!

There's a night sky full of stars… or is it space? It's hard to say. It's so quiet and peaceful. Then there's a tower. The design is unusual yet majestic. You could almost say it's out of this world. I somehow got inside of it. It's more amazing from the inside.

Then I see someone there. As I try to figure out who it could be, I start to hear voices, trying to say something to me. But they sound like whispers, and there are so many that it's hard to focus on one.

As I try to focus on voices, the figure is turning to face me. I can't see her face clearly. All I can see is a gentle smile before all fades out.

"Elena, wake up!"

An optic with a light blue hue opens before its owner groans tiredly as she gets up from her custom hanging bed on a strange tree that grows in one metallic chamber.

The tree is unique because its leaves are blue instead of green. The roots are not too big or too small, yet they still look healthy and big. There are some blue flowers and pools of water.

Elena gets down and goes to one of the pools to wash her face before looking at her reflection in the water. The reflection shows a young woman with brown hair in a ponytail, half of her face metal. Instead of a left ear, she has a flower on it; where there should be hair, there's a blue helm. She was also wearing a dark blue choker necklace with a white star on it. It has been two years since her life changed for good, and she discovered something out of this world.

After getting changed into a pink white blouse, denim skirt, and pink shoes, Elena walks in a huge hallway to a huge room with computers and such, with two figures. One giant robot whose name is Ratchet with white-red colors. And a small one, named PeaceStar, the same size as Elena with sky blue and light green colors, and stars on her forehead, chest, and hip area. Both were handling the computer.

Elena walks to them casually like any other day.

"Morning. Where are the others?" Elena asked.

"Collecting energon in the underground mine," Ratchet said.

"Is there any that isn't underground?" Elena said.

"When my sister, GaiaStar hid energon all over the earth, thousands of years ago, they were up to insight, but because of the change of continental plates and volcanoes during those years they got buried underground," PeaceStar said.

"And she knew exactly where they were buried." Elena figured.

"At least she managed to pinpoint five locations for us. From which Decepticons took only two."

"Ratchet!"

"Not pointing fingers at anyone. I'm just saying."

"How many places do you think there are?" Elena asked.

"Can't really say… she left just a couple of days before the great war began in Cybertron," PeaceStar said.

"And you didn't know why?" Elena asked. "Not even through Star connection?"

"The Stars usually share their knowledge through Star connection. But there are times Stars keep certain knowledge to herself, even from other Stars." PeaceStar explains. "But as soon as she passes away, that knowledge dies with her unless she makes a backup."

"Which she did, by adding a file into Teletran 1." Ratchet reminds. "Sadly, she also crypted some of the files. Probably to make sure they won't fall into the wrong hands."

"Must hold really important knowledge if she had crypted them," Elena said.

"Sadly we don't know exactly what kind of knowledge there is," PeaceStar said.

Right then, they heard engine noises, getting closer till two cars came in. One is white with some blue and the other one is yellow with black stripes. Both cars transform, revealing to be giant robots.

"Where are others, Jazz?" PeaceStar asks.

"Ironhide and boss-bot are on their way with cargo. Bee and I came ahead." Jazz said.

"How did it go? No injuries? Casualties? Traffic accidents?" Elena asks worriedly on the last one.

"Everything is just fine," Bee said through the radio. "I'm not a kid anymore!" He used a different radio line with a young girl's voice.

"You know she still has that speed ticket as a reminder from that one time," PeaceStar said.

"We know, we know. Drive at a limited speed in populated areas." Jazz said.

Then, two more vehicles appear, one red SUV and a red semi-truck, both carrying covered cargo. Jazz removes the cover, revealing shining blue cubes. As soon as the truck moves off from its cargo tank, it also transforms into a giant robot, a bit bigger than others, with a blue helm. After him, the SUV transformed too into a giant robot.

"How's the mine, Optimus?" Ratchet asked from the big one.

"I'm afraid this one where we came is soon out of energon, old friend." Optimus Prime admits. "Since there's one mine left, we must start looking for more locations."

"Considering that Decepticons have only two mines, they probably are preparing to do the same," PeaceStar said.

"How can they locate the energon?" Elena asked.

"Usually energon has a unique energy signature, but because of earth's minerals, they are difficult to find," Ratchet said.

"And another ten points goes too… Gaia…Star" Bumblebee communicated through radio.

"Well, the good thing is, we luckily have enough experience of mining," Ironhide said. "Compared to Cybertron mines, this is much easier."

"Mines in Cybertron? Why?" Elena asked. "Didn't energon stop following during the war?"

Everyone stood a bit awkward, while PeaceStar sighed a bit sadly. "There was a time when energon stopped flowing."

"What happened?" Elena asked worriedly.

Everyone looked at Optimus. They wanted to know if it was okay to tell her or if it was too much.

Optimus sighs before walking to Elena and picking her up in his hand. "I'll tell you about it," he said as he took her out.

Optimus came out from the metallic entrance while Elena sat on his hand. The entrance was the Autobot ship, Arc, that's buried under the mountain, which once was a volcano. Optimus walks to the forest that's near the mountain. Local animals moved away while Optimus walked carefully not to harm any of them. Soon, he arrives at a clearing that has lots of crass, flowers, and a huge pond from which animals come to drink. Optimus comes to a huge vertical rock, which has worked as a bench for him. He placed Elena on one spot as he sat next to her. Elena closely to listen.

"There was a time before the Great War when energon stopped flowing, and we had to mine it," Optimus explained.

"Why did it stop?" Elena asked.

"Energon flows when the Matrix of leadership is held by one who Primus deems worthy," Optimus said as he placed his hand on his chest. "But all the Primes were betrayed and killed by one they trusted, Sentinel. He wanted the power and the Matrix to himself, but he wasn't worthy in the eyes of Primus, so the Matrix vanished out of his reach."

"Is that when the energon stops flowing?" Elena asked.

Optimus nodded for that. "To cover his betrayal, he lied to become Prime and took our transformation gogs before we came online, so we could mine the energon, which he was secretly giving to our enemies."

"Ironhide said mining here is easier than back then? Was it hard?"

"It was mostly a dangerous job," Optimus said. "The tunnels could close and open if you weren't aware, and you never knew if you hit on unstable energon, which could make things worse. I know so because Jazz once got stuck because of it."

"And you had to mine it?" Elena asked, feeling a bit upset.

" We had no cogs. We were pretty much treated like we were…"

"...like slaves." Elena finished. "We have had that too many times in our history." Elena takes a deep breath. "Was Sentinel discovered?"

"Yes. After fifty cycles, Sentinel's treason was discovered and revealed to everyone. And… he was killed by Megatron."

"He killed him?" Elena asked surprisingly.

"He, Bee, Elita, and I were the first ones to learn the truth by Alpha Trion, who managed to survive the ambush."

"I kinda want to say I understand his anger, but…" Elena said. "...I take he went too far with it."

"He was going to destroy the entire Iacon city and everyone in it," Optimus said. "But right then, I was given the Matrix of leadership and became Optimus Prime."

"It was your first fight?"

Optimus nods at that. "I exiled Megatron and his followers from Iacon. After that...it didn't take long when the war started."

Elena leans on him for comfort. She always did so when she wanted to comfort any Autobot. She couldn't hug them like she did with PeaceStar, so she always leaned on them.

"Want me to…?"

"If it's not a bother…" Optimus said. "Could it be one of your family's languages?"

Elena gets up to stand before she closes her eyes and starts to sing.

"Si te vas al país del ayer,

Ramo de hierbabuena en flor,

Acuérdate de llevarle un mensaje,

A quien fue mi primer amor."

Optimus closes his optics to listen, but then Ratchet calls.

"Optimus! Can you hear me? We got something."

"What's wrong, Ratchet?"

"Teletran-1 picked something. You must see this."

Optimus gets up and picks Elena before heading back to the headquarters.
