Chapter 1: New Student
-On August 14, 2006-
Retroville's weather is partly cloudy and light wind. The time is 7:50 a.m. morning.
The narrator said, "Retroville is more likely based on Austin, Texas. Fortunately, Jimmy Neutron invented fixing the rocket for those Twonkies were sending to return into space last year. Plus, some townspeople complained about them because they could turn into monsters, so there are no Twonkies in Retroville anymore. A few years ago, Team Neutron saved the town from the League of Villains when they were in 6th Grade in an elementary school. Currently, they have grown up into their teenagers. They're also in the freshman grade at Lindbergh High School on the first day this year. It has seven class periods in some subjects, and Team Neutron is in the same classroom every period. The mascot named Rangers as a blue, red, and white."
On Monday morning, these students are in a classroom. "Good morning, class. Its principal called me for a new student today, so I'd like you to meet a new student here. Please give a well-mannered and friendly welcome to Gina Maylor. Here she is..." Mr. Swanson lectured the teenagers, who he's an English teacher, in the first period.
Gina walked right into the classroom and then looked at the students. "Hi, everyone..." she greeted, who was a Korean-American teenage girl.
"Hi, Gina!" Students greeted.
Gina has brown eyes, pinkish eyelids, and dark brown short hair. She wears a white short-sleeved v-neck t-shirt with a pink Hawaiian Hibiscus flower logo, light blue denim girlfriend jeans, and Women's Adidas Courtset striped sneakers with white/pink.
"Gina, please take your seat behind Libby." Mr. Swanson said.
"Okay," Gina nodded as she sat right behind Libby's desk.
"Class, I'm going to teach you about English, then I'll give all of you the study reviews before taking exams on Friday." Mr. Swanson lectured as he handed these students a textbook. "Now, open your textbook and turn to page 12."
"Yes," Students agreed, and then they opened their textbook.
"Sheen, I told you numerous times when you don't pay attention to me!" Mr. Swanson declared. "And stop dreaming about your dolls!"
"Oh, my bad!" Sheen said in embarrassment, and then he finally paid attention to the teacher.
"Thank you," Mr. Swanson said.
-A few hours later, at the beginning of the lunch break-
"All right, class. Time to eat the lunch break for 45 minutes," Mrs. Devine (Art teacher in the 4th period, but in the first semester only) told the students.
These students are heading right into the cafeteria.
"Hiya," Cindy and Libby greeted as they sat next to Gina at the seating of the rectangular table.
"Hi, what's your name? I'm Georgina Suzanne Maylor, as Gina for my short name," Gina greeted while she was a little taller than Cindy.
"I'm Cynthia Aurora Vortex as Cindy," Cindy said.
"And I'm Liberty Danielle Folfax as Libby," Libby added as she was taller than Cindy and Gina.
"That's a great name," Gina said. "Nice to meet you two."
"We're pleased to meet you too," Cindy smiled.
"Yeah, how old are you?" Libby asked.
"I'm 14 years old," Gina replied.
"Same here, but Cindy is 15 years old," Libby said. "When's your birth date?"
"My birth date is January 24," Gina replied.
"Mine is December 12. And Cindy is June 5," Libby said.
"Okay, I'll remind you two," Gina clearly said.
"Gina, where are you moving from?" Cindy asked. "I was born in Las Vegas with my parents, but we have moved here since I was a child."
"Oh, I see..." Gina replied. "Last week, I moved here with my parents and older brother (Matt) from southwest of Washington, DC, about 13 miles. My dad has a new job."
"Cool, what's kind of your dad's job?" Libby asked.
"I think he's working as an optometrist (eye doctor)," Gina replied. "He works in a full-time."
"That's kinda nice," Libby said.
Gina wordlessly nodded, thinking. (I have a 40-gallon, medium pet fish tank in my house, that's all. I love pet fish such as minnows and fantails.)
"I heard Nissa and her family moved out of Retroville last week," Cindy suggested. "I think she moved to Missouri."
"Yeah, girl," Libby said. "We've missed her."
"My dog (Humphrey as a bulldog) passed away yesterday," Cindy sadly said. "Because he got lymphoma cancer when I attempted to feed him numerous times, but he was too stubborn."
"Girl, I'm sorry to hear that," Libby assured as she gently patted Cindy on the back.
Cindy, Libby, and Gina are social-talking and eating lunch at the cafeteria. Meanwhile, Jimmy and his friends are discussing something.
"Okay, guys. We supposed to plan for something," Jimmy said when he was 15 years old and a boy genius.
"What?" Sheen wondered.
"Goddard and I will plan to work for an upgraded spaceship into the universe when we take a trip afterward," Jimmy remarked.
"Cool," Carl said.
"Are you serious, dude? That would be awesome!" Sheen exclaimed as he put his hands on Jimmy's shoulders. "I want to go!"
"Calm down, Sheen," Jimmy remarked. "Maybe we'll be going on the space trip this Christmas holiday or next summer vacation."
"Shoot!" Sheen deadpanned.
"Libby, I think Jimmy Nerdtron tends to make some strange contraption and show us up, although he's our resident boy genius," Cindy sarcastically whispered.
"Yeah, girl! You're darn right!" Libby mumbled.
"I wish I was the resident genius back in Nevada!" Cindy sarcastically said. "He's enough fricking smarter than me!"
Cindy, Libby, and Gina laughed.
-The school rang a bell-
"I think it says time for back to class," Libby said.
"Time to play Ultralord!" Sheen exclaimed.
"Ultra-dork!" Cindy mocked.
"What's wrong with him, girl?" Libby asked.
"Hahaha! Sheen acts like fricking crazy!" Cindy smirked. "He always obsesses with Ultra-freak all the time!"
"Aw, stupid blonde girl!" Sheen sarcastically said.
-At 3:00 p.m., finishing class, and now students are going home-
Cindy, Libby, and Gina are walking right around the neighbors.
"Gina, do you like it when you're in here?" Libby asked.
"Yes, I would love to be here. There are certainly great things in place," Gina replied.
"Hey, Gina, can I give you my phone number?" Cindy asked.
"Sure, here's my phone number," Gina replied, giving Cindy and Libby a paper.
"Okay," Cindy said as she took it and gave Gina the papers. "I added your phone number."
"Great! I will add your phone number," Gina said as she took the papers.
"Me too," Libby smiled as she took it. "Thanks, Gina."
"Gina, do you want to come with us to the Candy Bar tonight?" Cindy asked. "Meet us about 7 p.m."
"Hmm, sure," Gina nodded. "That sounds excellent."
"Alright, see you tonight," Libby smiled.
"You too," Gina smiled before walking to her house, thinking. (My mother and her family are from South Korea, so I recognized that North Korea is one of the most dangerous countries in Asia. My parents, brother, and I are U.S. citizens.)
Gina's house resembles white walls and brown roofs. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a suburban. It also has a white picket fence around the backyard. These two houses are nearing the pond where Gina and Amber live, and Cindy's home is next to her house on the street.
-At 7:00 p.m.-
Cindy, Libby, and Gina headed right into the Candy Bar.
"Gina, it's the menu for your order," Libby said, pointing to the menu at the top.
"Hello! Welcome to the Candy Bar. What do you want to order, yeah?" Sam asked as he worked in the Candy Bar.
"Hi, I want to order a triple chocolate sundae without whipped cream, please...," Gina answered.
"Of course, you owe me $7.58," Sam agreeably said. "Yeah."
"Here...," Gina said as she paid Sam a $10 bill.
"Yeah," Sam said, handing Gina the $2.42 bill that had changed back.
Sam started placing a crumble half of the brownie square, adding a scoop of chocolate ice cream, drizzling with chocolate sauce, sprinkling chocolate chips, and topping a cherry into a plastic paneled sundae dish. And then, he handed Gina a sundae dish and a spoon. "Here you are, and enjoy."
"Thank you," Gina said as she took a sundae dish and a spoon.
"Anytime, yeah," Sam winked.
Gina sat right in a half-round booth with Cindy and Libby. They all gathered together to eat the ice cream sundae while conversing.
"Mmm, that's my favorite ice cream since I grew up," Gina said as she ate the sundae.
"Cool," Libby said.
"Do you both want to go with me to Retro-Land this weekend?" Cindy wondered.
"Yes, of course," Libby said.
"Cindy, what do you mean by Retro-Land?" Gina requested.
"It's the amusement park of Retroville," Cindy replied. "It also has numerous rides like roller coasters, Ferris wheel, go-karts, etc."
"Ohh, that sounds amazing and fun," Gina clearly said.
"Gina, do you like to dance to music?" Libby asked.
"Yes, I like dancing at the party," Gina replied as she finished eating the ice cream. "Mostly on time; I love to play tennis and dodgeball."
"Cool," Libby replied. "Cindy is a great fighter as a karate."
"I don't like missing or delaying the party because it conflicts with something," Gina remarked.
"Same here," Libby said.
"And I don't like being alone," Gina said. "I'm not a solitary person."
"Ohh, I understand," Libby said.
"Gina, you're fortunate when you moved here. Five years ago, Jimmy and these kids rescued their parents after freaky alien Yolkians from the universe captured them, and I think that was Jimmy's fault," Cindy explained.
"They are evil aliens named King Goobot and Ooblar. A scary giant chicken monster named Poultra," Libby added.
"That sounds afraid," Gina realized.
"Diversely, Jimmy's dad accidentally sent the townspeople transported right into the Cretaceous Era using his darn wormhole generator, so he used negative ions to return into the present from the League of Villains," Cindy continued. "I tossed a stupid thing into the eye of the wormhole."
"I think three humanoid reptilian aliens were gone into the universe somewhere," Libby added. "I'm not sure they returned to bad guys again. We still don't trust them."
"Ohh, I see," Gina clearly said. "Did you both go to take a trip into the universe last time?"
"Yeah, we have been into the universe several times," Cindy replied. "Do you want to take a trip with us into the universe?"
"Yes, I've never been into the universe before, so that would be great," Gina answered. "However, I'm just concerned that these bad aliens will possibly catch us wherever they are from..."
"Don't worry, Gina, we'll protect you," Cindy said. "I'll tell Jimmy when he'll possibly invite you afterward."
"All right," Gina agreeably nodded. "I can hit these bad guys' buttocks with my tennis ball. So, I always practiced when I whacked the ball with my racket like a baseball on the backboard numerous times at the tennis court daily. I also can dodge anything when somebody attempts to throw the dodgeball to hit me in the gym class."
"Of course, you can do it!" Libby smiled as she patted Gina on the back. "You would become a superstar!"
"Yeah, Libby, I probably," Gina said.
"Come on, Gina. Meet my friends," Cindy remarked. "This is Amber (blonde-short hair and wears clear eyeglasses), Britney, and Rose. That's a new student named Gina Maylor. And she's in our classroom and neighbors."
"Hi," Gina greeted as she waved her hand.
"Hello," The trio said as they waved their hand back.
"Gina, I'm your new neighbor," Amber smiled. "Nice to meet you."
"Yes, you too," Gina nodded.
"Britney fell in love with Nick Dean," Rose said. She is an Asian-American with a red and white striped short-sleeve t-shirt, black Culotte shorts, and brown shoes. Her head is a little bigger than Gina.
"He's a handsome and cool dude," Amber added. "He also loves the skateboard and some sports."
"Ohh, I see," Gina clearly said.
"Gina, how come you moved here?" Rose replied.
"My parents, brother, and I moved here because my dad has a new job," Gina said.
"Cool," Rose said. "Where were you born from?"
"I was born in Annandale, VA," Gina replied. "It's from southwest of Washington DC in about 13 miles."
"Ohh, I've never seen that before," Rose said.
"Girls, who wants to sign up for the volleyball tryouts? I already signed up," Cindy wondered. "It will be starting on Wednesday."
Libby, Gina, Britney, Amber, and Rose raised their hands.
"Let's get ready to dance!" Amber said as she deposited a coin in the jukebox music box and song on.
-In 15 minutes later-
"Kids, it's time to close, and a song is off. Go home, yeah!" Sam told the kids.
Just then, these kids are going home.
"I'm so happy to be new friends with you two," Gina smiled as she was outside with Cindy and Libby.
"Of course, I'm so glad we also enjoy social-talking and dancing with you, girl!" Libby smiled as she hugged Gina.
"And you joined us for hanging out. We became friends with you," Cindy added as she hugged Gina. "Welcome to Retroville!"
"Thank you, both," Gina smiled as she hugged them back before heading home. "See you at school tomorrow. Bye, Cindy. Bye, Libby."
"Bye, Gina," Cindy and Libby said as they waved their hand before going home. "You too."
To be continued...,
Author's Note:
That's my first time writing a new story, so don't worry about the proposed episodes in the cancellation of the 4th Season. I'm focused on working.
