This story is set early in Perry and Della's relationship. They have only worked together a year but been together a month and have experienced their first disagreement as Della puts it. If you ever watched the Perry Mason Movie titled, TCOT All-Star Assassin, I hope you recognize the discussion at the end. I figured the two of them had to learn their pearls of wisdom somehow.

This is inspired by a picture I saw which inspired this story of the Drake family of three (Paul, Gertie, and their daughter Wendy Drake) before it became a family of four (Gertie is pregnant with baby Paul Jr).

Frustrated by the lack of progress in Perry and Della's relationship, several members of the Los Angeles legal community (Paul Drake, Hamilton Burger, Lieutenant Tragg, Judge Treadwell) decide to work together to force Perry to confess his feelings to Della. One-shot.

After Perry exposes a mobster on the witness stand, the criminal's friends decide to make Perry pay - by depriving him of the beautiful secretary he loves dearly. Will Perry realize what is happening in time to save Della's life?

Based on a suggestion from a reader and friend. what if during The Paul Drake Dilemma, Della gave Perry some extra TLC

REPOSTED - 3rd chapter fixed - After finishing a long, grueling trial, Perry and Della are free to take a weekend away as friends with Paul tagging along. A moment in the office before they leave however, may change their relationship. (Sorry, bad at summaries) If you like Perry and Della together, I hope something in the story will be worth it to you. This was my very 1st FanFic and I made a lot of mistakes. Even though all of the reviews were kind and generous I asked my wonderful Sonia to rewrite this for me. it's been hiding in my files for a long time so i decided it was time to get it out there.
