Chapter one

"-Entry Log #11: Hiruzen sent us on an S-rank mission to investigate some odd activity a couple of miles outside *static* town. A remote little village can't possibly house more than 80 people. According to the report, some people have gone missing along some of the smaller routes mostly known to locals headed towards the town. It almost flew under the radar until one of the people missing was a *static* merchant. As unfortunate as this situation is... my team and I still can't see why this would be considered S-Rank or why the *static* presence of THREE legendary sannin is required. Besides that, we're scheduled to head out in a couple of hours and return home in 2 weeks."

"-Entry Log #12: We're roughly 2 and half days away from our destination. I've forgotten how long it takes to escort a client back to his village when they aren't ninja, it's an uninteresting cardio exercise. We've asked our client," *static* -Hanzo, about why they've spent so much on what is most likely just a couple of bandits terrifying the locals. A simple C-Rank pay would've probably been enough for an adequate team of chunins to deal with them.
"It may seem silly to you, but our townsfolk have agreed that there's something wrong here. We wouldn't have had everyone pitch in for this mission if we didn't believe it was necessary. It all started when this meteor landed a couple of months ago. The people who were awake during the early morning said it l -*static* -anded nearby and that it would be a short hike. Some folk went to the landing sight to "investigate," although im pretty sure they're there for souvenirs or for something to sell for a quick buck. What they said should've just been a couple hour trip turned to days sometimes weeks before one of them would show up. They swear that they were gone for only a couple of hours. the longest I heard was 5 hours. But these were people who have been missing for DAYS with no explanation before they just waltz in like nothing happened! Of course, not everyone came back."
He then went on to talk about ghouls - *static* -and monsters and other rambling about things that could be explained via ninja using Jutsu.

We tried asking the locals if they saw or heard anything about the place, but most just avoid the question or tell us to leave. Jira- *static* -iya believes that people are being taken to be sold as slaves for underground crime organizations that we've been after for years. We've been tracking"

"I hate to agree with her because you know how her ego gets, but yeah. You've started recording every little thing that's been happening, don't you get bored- *static* -after a while? I know you're a dork, but this is too much"

"M- *static* -is a fine shinobi! If anything, he's a better pick than me. His compassion and loyalty to his people are admirable. If anyone can lead the leaf into a better future, it's him."
"Wow, you're admitting that he was actually a decent teacher!? Not seeing any cataclysmic events happening so far."
"Yeah, I was expecting the sky to start falling, the ocean turning into blood, or maybe deer becoming hunters."

"Oh come on, where is he!?" a voice cried out in annoyance. "I swear this better not be a routine thing. We do we have to be here on time if sensei won't be here on time!"
"Sakura, please shut up."
Sakura Haruno, a fresh graduate genin who also happens to be the 2nd best in here entire class. She's dressed in a red front zipped short-sleeved qipao dress with white rings decorating her sleeves and front dress. Tight dark blue biker shorts with a kunai holster taped to her right thigh and standard blue shinobi sandals. While her outfit was certainly recognizable, what really made it easy picking her out of a crowd was due to her long bright cherry blossom colored hair that has her shinobi headband and her emerald green eyes. Although beautiful, she had temper and no tolerance for as she put it "idiots that make things worse." She's head strong, and while temperamental, she is a loyal friend.
"Oh come on, where is he!?" a voice cried out in annoyance. "I swear this better not be a routine thing. We do we have to be here on time if sensei won't be here on time!"
Satsuki Uchiha, Konoha's rookie of the year, has long spkiy black hair that reaches he lower back, which is currently tied into a high ponytail with two of her bangs framing her face. Her onyx colored eyes could could freeze you in place if she hit you with the standard Uchiha glare. She wore a blue high collar shirt with arm warmers white shorts with a kunai holster taped to her right thigh, shin warmers with bandages above them for padding with her blue shinobi sandals. She was beautiful and had her fair share of fan boys, but no one had the courage to face her older brother, Itachi Uchiha, who would scare away anyone his baby sister deemed annoying. She was the best in her class and was smug about it, too. However, when she'd get a big head, she'd get humbled rather quickly by either her brother or father. Her cold and uncaring attitude is used to drive away people she deems "incompetent." Only her friends and family have seen her in other moods besides besides boring and angry.
"While I agree that our supposed sensei is late yet again, complaining about it won't do much to solve it. We just got suck it up and waited for his arrival. Then we can flay him." She responded to her friend.
Satsuki then looked over to her 3rd teammate, who is currently asleep against a tree. His wild, spiky blond hair held up by his shinobi headband. His ocean blue eyes were currently closed as he had dozed off moments ago. He also had 3 whisker marks on both of his cheeks that while Satsuki admitted looked cute, his abrasive attitude and constant need for pulling pranks annoyed her to no end. Naruto Uzumaki, the dead last of their entire class.
This wasn't her ideal team, but she had to make do. She was just a little excited since she was announced rookie of the year, and her father offered to start teaching her some more clan jutsu! She just needed to pass this test!

A cloud of smoke appeared around, revealing a man. He was wearing a dark blue long sleeve shirt with 1 spiral on each arm, a standard issue green jonin flak jacket, dark blue pants with half the shins wrapped, black shinobi sandals and gloves. He also wore a face mask as well as having his ninja headband covering his left eye, leaving only his right eye portion of his face uncovered. His white spiky hair seemed to defy gravity as it stuck out to the left without falling. "Sorry I'm late. There was an old lady who needed help with her groceries, and being the gentleman I am, I offered my assistance." He offered them an eye smile. "YOU'RE LATE!" yelled out 2 of the 3 genin. This was Kakashi Hatake, their currently late sensei. "And that excuse was so lame come on no one would fall for that!" yelled Naruto. He was followed up by Sakura "See if Naruto doesn't believe it that means your lie sucked."
"Yeah!.. Hey!" Kakashi chose this time to intervene "Ma ma that enough now. Let's get this show on the road!" he reached into his pouch and pulled out 2 bells. "For today's test, your goal is to take these bells from me before time run out. Everyone who has a bell passes." Sakura raised her hand as if she were still in class. "Uh sensei there are only 2 bells.. does that mean" she trailed off "Yep, someone isn't passing this test. So good luck to everyone of you. You're gonna need it."
So first story I'm posting so feel free to criticize on what needs improvement. I was playing MWZ and once I completed the battle pass i wanted to play actual survival and went to Cold War. Then, while i was playing that, I decided to go FURTHER back and went to Black Ops 3 zombies. I knew the story for that game and how Primus was stuck in a time loop and dropped the story because other things happened. So, one 7 hour long video on YouTube by EruptionFang I caught up with the lore and decided to do the Easter Eggs from BO3 to BO4. Then after those do the Dark Aether story in Cold War, and while playing Der Eisendrache, I had Naruto playing in the background. The episode involved them bringing back people from the dead to attack Konoha with that one Demon armed monk guy Sora. And this little monstrosity was formed.
