Summary: What if Brenda had a different past than we all thought? What if Brenda was in fact in trouble? what would happen when it involves her cousins who are part of a secret that none of her friends knew about besides within her family. What if Brenda learned that Buffy her best friend, her cousin who's like a sister, her ride and die type of bestie got killed from a battle against a Goddess that wants to kill her baby cousin Dawn Summers only for Buffy to protect her by sacrificing herself and came back from the dead from her so-called friends that left Brenda to get overprotective towards her family of cousins.
What if that person who's after Brenda is not only after her and her family too but, her cousins who were involved that left him to go to jail only to be escaped to gain his revenge against Brenda and her cousins. Brenda won't stop at nothing but, protect her family and her friends (except Kelly-her former bestie) Her cousins Prue, Piper and Phoebe are also involved (Yes from Charmed Andy is still alive yay— ^_^ Prue and Andy are happily married and expecting their first child—well make that Quintuplets 'Quints' and learned a lot of secrets that were kept from her that she's swearing like a sailor in 48 languages that Brandon, her twin brother is trying to calm her down (failed miserably) until Spencer (her ex) managed to calm down that left Dylan (her first love) to grew jealous. I decided to add Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Zoey 101, the Troop, How to Rock, Harry Potter & Criminal Minds.
(a/n: So I know this show ended in May 17, 2000; honestly it would be the same the technology however will be advance so everyone has iPhone, Samsung cell phone etc. the music would be really different, Brenda Walsh are a big fan of Hip Pop, Pop, R&B, Old school chulo music, Spanish songs. Everything that we're listening now it's going to be in this story; the year I'm going to have where they're 2015—they're in high school, I know they're going to be older and everything but, it would help a lot for Brenda since her cousins are protective with each other)
Prologue
Brandon and Brenda are both seniors in high school. It was supposed to be the best year for Brenda who's preparing for her sweet 18th birthday with Brandon, and everything planned out but now it's ruined. Instead of preparing for her birthday she's dealing with a lot of problems because Dylan who happened to be the love of her life, cheated on her with her best friend Kelly behind her back while she was in Paris with Donna. He then chose Kelly over Brenda.
The words that he told her that he picked 'Kelly' over her broke her heart because she thought he would've picked her after what they did…it was too much. Brenda loved Dylan with her whole heart and the only time she ever opened her heart was her last boyfriend Miguel who was like Dylan except their eyes were different; Miguel had green eyes with a Spanish accent; luckily, she knows 48 different languages the only reason she took French she needed a challenge and was curious if the French classes was different in Minnesota apparently it wasn't.
Her last boyfriend was Andy, who happens to be Prue's childhood sweetheart but, they didn't get together until high school; by the time Andy and Brenda met sparks flew but, his heart always belonged to Prue and she knew that; so they tried to be in a relationship didn't last long and till this day they're still friends in fact he's Brandon's and Brenda's cousin in law because he and Prue got back together after talking about her secret that she been hiding from the past year they reconnected and well—they nearly lost Andy from the demon but, they managed to get back him back thanks to Leo who's another cousin in-law who's a white-lighter; Piper's husband. Brandon and herself hasn't met Leo yet but, their uncle Victor was a bit sensitive over that subject but, somehow managed to get over it after Leo told him what happen that brought Victor to leave things that happen to him and their mother Patty; Prue, Piper and Phoebe's mother/aunt to Brenda and Brandon in the past.
Anyway, you would think that Prue who's their oldest cousin would be Brenda's twin sister or something but, nope they're cousins—apparently there's twins in their family besides having triplets, Quadruplets, Quintuplets etc. it's a lot of babies in their family so they're practically best friends, like sisters except being cousins. She also learned that her cousin Prue is expecting her first child with Andy (her ex-beau/who's now her cousin in-law) only to be shell shocked their expecting Quintuplets the first generation in dad's side.
Prue, Piper and Phoebe's mom Patty is Brandon and Brenda's dad little sister, so Jim (their dad) knows what really happen to his sister and never forgave himself for failing to protect his baby sister which is why he's extra protective with his little girl Brenda. Andy, her ex-beau (knows about magic, how they're witches, good witches not the bad ones but, that's a different story) so she's excited for her future nieces and nephews arriving soon.
Anyway, the drama that Brenda's dealing with was with her ex-boyfriend Dylan McKay they been dating nearly 3 years and thought they'd be together forever. She knew she shouldn't fall for guys like him but, she couldn't help herself. They were both smitten with each other and thought they'd be getting married and have kids of their own but, unfortunately Dylan wasn't in love with her like she thought he was like she was with him since he's now with Kelly, her former best friend. Ugh she couldn't believe that she trusted that bi*** and after swearing inside her mind she didn't even notice that her cousins Prue, Piper, and Phoebe can feel her conflicted emotions. Apparently, her cousin Prue was trying to get a hold of her.
[Brenda can communicate with her cousins thru her mind, Brandon does that too but, he hasn't used his magic in a long time, so Brenda been practicing without his knowledge] …
"Bren what's the matter I can feel your emotions in my side of California in San Francisco?" a voice she recognized in her mind "It's me Prue, I've been trying to get a hold of you? What's wrong sweetie?" she asked.
"Hey Prue, I have miss you oh so much and … I'm just dealing with a lot of stuff how are you?"Brenda answered [inside her mind]
"I miss you too we all do and what do you mean? Is everything okay and I'm good how are you?"
"Ugh I wish I can talk to you and tell you what happen but, Brandon's home along with mom since daddy's at work not that I don't mind mom knows this but, I need to talk to someone and I'm okay just dealing with stuff?"
"You can tell me anything hunn? How's Dylan and everyone along with Brandon,"
[no answer]…
"Brenda?"
"Yeah?"
"…Why do I feel like Dylan did something bad or else I wouldn't feel your emotions from my side in San Francisco? Usually when I feel something it's either their upset, conflicted, happy etc. but, with you you're very conflicted what happen?"
"….Well…I wouldn't say bad would be the right word?"
"Then how would you call it?"
"…."
"Beach? I can hear you swearing in 48 different languages what happen? You never cussed that much unless someone pissed you off. What did he do?"
"….."
"Brenda Athena Kehlani Shannen Rose Walsh what happen?"
Brenda made a small gulp "Nothing…'
"Brenda, you do realize I can tell you're lying even though I'm all the way in San Francisco you might as well tell me?"
"…Well…you know how Dylan and I been having problems because of daddy?"
"You mean Uncle Jim of course?"
"I never really understood why…until he told me why?"
"Why?"
"Because of aunt Patty?"
This time Prue felt surprised, speechless that she felt dumbfounded by her cousin's response.
"I'm sorry what? That wasn't his fault though we were young…he can't possibly be blaming himself for what happen to mom? You don't think he's—"
"Prue….I think we both why?"
"But-but-but-but-but-but—that— wasn't Uncle Jim's fault though?"
"I know but, he seems to blame himself for not be able to protect his sister from the water demon I mean how do you deal with that after losing your mom …and Uncle Victor…well…you know what I mean? Along with auntie Penny since she's your Grams? How do you deal with that?"
"I mean honestly …it wasn't fair that I was held a lot of responsibilities for my sisters and sacrifice a lot of things because I'm the oldest thru my sisters, losing mom was probably the hardest thing that Piper, Phoebe and I had to deal with …along with dad walking out and Grams being sick…it's a lot…then finding out we're witches the first year that Phoebe moved in with Piper and I ….along with you and Brandon although …for Brandon's case he's a wizard from what Mio told us and I haven't heard from Buffy in over six months along with auntie Joyce," Prue rambled worriedly sick over our childhood best friend Buffy from camp "I hope they're okay I've been trying to get a hold of them but, their phone is out of service…I hope their okay," she explained.
"I can't even imagine how hard that was Prue which is why your always been strong between us I always admire that about you,"
"Oh sweetie we're always been strong you just haven't explored your powers yet but I have a feeling its powerful. You just have to believe in it and I'm sure Mio along with the rest of us can teach you and Brandon about it if you want," Prue explained.
"Really that would be great Prue and what do you mean about Buffy? Is she and auntie Joyce okay?"
"I have no idea which is why Andy and I along with Piper, Leo, Phoebe and I guess Cole is coming with us to check on Buffy. Where exactly is Sunnydale again?"
"It's like an hour away from Los Angeles. It's not that far from where I live actually and I haven't heard from her either and don't think I didn't notice you changing the subject Prue but, we'll talk about that later when we talk in person. I'm getting ready for school …" Brenda sighed tiredly "I don't really want to go to school but, I haven't been feeling good …I think it's time I go see a doctor I'll see if my mom can take me?"
"Are you going to tell me what happen with Dylan?"
Brenda sighed "Honestly I don't want to talk about but, you're going to end up finding out sooner or later…so…do you remember when I told you that I was going to Paris with Donna this past summer?"
"I did I was going to ask you how Paris was?"
"It was beautiful I saw everything until I met Rick…for the first time I actually had fun without…dealing with a lot of overprotective fathers causing problems in my relationship but, you know how daddy is…until I went home…I saw Dylan…I have missed him so much…and I thought he missed me he even said so…but, I did noticed something was off…he was being a bit distant…not even thinking about college and we had a long talk…I told him about Rick the minute we were by ourselves and he told me he was seeing someone but, what he didn't tell me was that it was Kelly. Kelly Taylor,"
"WHAT!? No way!? Isn't she your best friend,"
"No Buffy is my best friend along with Valerie, you, Piper and Phoebe. Then there's my cousins of course but, no Kelly Taylor stopped being my best friend the minute she started seeing him behind my back while I was with Donna in Paris this past summer. They been sneaking around behind my back they told me less than 2 weeks ago in October 10 and there's been drama because of it. Kelly been taunting me saying the meanest things about my weight, about me losing Dylan and that she had purposely gone after my boyfriend and how I'm …unexperienced and couldn't even keep a man like Dylan satisfied in the bedroom it's messy and—"
"That evil foul little cockroach two face cheating—wait a minute, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa back the hell up excuse me French…are you telling me she's been bullying you does Brandon even know about this and that's a bit extreme don't you think? Wait what did you mean cheater? DYLAN CHEATED ON YOU WITH KELLY OF ALL PEOPLE?"
Brenda winced knowing her older cousin Prue being protective and swore under her breath in 48 different languages.
"No…Brandon doesn't know in fact he's in Dylan and Kelly's side apparently he doesn't seem to care that Dylan picked Kelly over his sister, his twin of all days,"
"WHAT?! ARE YOU F**** KIDDING ME?! That doesn't sound like Brandon at all…it's almost like he's under control over Kelly's influence or something,"
"Well, she is known as a slut at school I should've listened to those girls when I defended her that one time during that rumor now, I know the truth,"
"I'm going to kill that bitch no one talks about my cousin like that!?" Prue growled protective causing Brenda to wince hearing her cousin swore under her breath inside her mind that it was giving Brenda a migraine.
"That makes two of us and tell me about it…"
"When I see her, I will murder her with my bare hands,"
"Murder who Prue?"
"Piper? Is that you?"
"Brenda hiii omg is that you?"
"Yeah, it's me?"
"Heyyy omg I been trying to get a hold of Buffy do you know where she is? I'm worried?"
"That makes two of us…that's why I'm going to Sunnydale?"
"When?"
"As soon as Andy says it's okay for me to travel?"
"But Prue you're not supposed to walk as much as considering you're in bed rest,"
"Well I—"
"Hey guys sorry to interrupt your conversation and Prue she's right you're not supposed to travel even I know that especially you're carrying not for one, not for two but, for five babies. You need to rest, and I know you have a lot of deal with especially with demons coming around and all but, Piper and Phoebe will deal with,"
Prue mumbled under her breath.
"I heard that,"
"Good...you're supposed too,"
"Cole is good now Prue I know you don't like him but, he's trying…please try for me please…I love him…and he loves me too…please…"
"Mhmm…I'll believe it when I see it Pheebs,"
"Pheobe,"
"Brenda, omg how are you?"
"Good just getting ready for school,"
"School? How old are you and Brandon now?"
"We're going to be turning 18 years old soon so we're in our final year as seniors in high school, so our birthday is coming up soon,"
"Really omg are you guys having a party?"
"Umm still thinking about it…Brandon isn't the type of person to have parties either am I but, I want my birthday to be low key ya know…no parties it's to stressful and so much drama that I'm dealing with it I don't even feel like having a party…"
"But it's you're sweet 18 Bren,"
"I know…but, it's okay… speaking of Brandon and my mom are on their way up to my room we'll talk soon okay love you and miss you guys,"
"We love you too Brenda and let me know what the doctors say okay? The last thing I need is losing you too?"
"Piper you're not going to lose me?"
"I know but, I can't help it you're my baby cousin even though you look like Prue's twin but, ya know what I mean?"
"Yeah, I know I love you and miss you guys too and I'll be sure to let you guys know what the doctors say,"
"Promise?"
"I promise I mean one of these days we all need a vacation, drama free no demons, no magical creatures just a no drama free kind of thing and no—I don't need you to be stressing this out Prue so relax especially being pregnant with Quints no less and btw Piper congratulations on your wedding I wish I could've gone to your wedding,"
"Not making promises and I'll try we love you Brenda,"
"Love you guys too,"
"Yes, we all do need a vacation and awe Brenda, I wish I could've invited you. Leo and I are thinking of renewing our wedding vows soon but, I'll talk to him about it more later okay. I want you and Brandon to come along with the rest of the family,"
"I would love that a lot probably a week away from the drama would be great actually and we would love to come…I'll call you soon love and miss you guys send Phoebe my love and uncle Victor,"
"We will. Stay safe Bren-Bren,"
"Always am,"
Once she was done talking to her three cousins, she continued to ramble inside her thoughts. It's been 3 1/2 months; Dylan has chosen Kelly. Had it been 3 ½ months… it feels like it's been a whole year but, that's just her being dramatic maybe…she was so sure that Dylan would choose her because he had come to talk to her without Kelly around and went to his place to talk and they ended up making love. Two days later Dylan told her he chooses Kelly. How could he make love to her and two days later choose Kelly. It didn't make sense to her and understand that. It's starting to stress her out but, the only place that would calm her down was going down to the beach to ease her mind; it's the only place that clear her mind about things.
She needed Dylan and she loved him. She still loves him more than she ever did with her former ex boyfriends not that she talks to them except Erick, Spencer, and Miguel oh and Andy being her cousin in-law being married to Prue but, that's beside the point; they're the only ones who treats her as their Queen but, speaking of her ex-boyfriend Dylan, he's with that slut. Yes, Kelly is a two face, no worthless gold-digging whore of a slut, going after her boyfriend Dylan while she was in Paris with Donna. Kelly had admitted to Brenda that she wanted Dylan but wouldn't go after him. She lied to Brenda so what else is new. She should've known she was lying to her most blondes are especially sluts. She didn't believe that Kelly said it just happened.
She knew Dylan in the back of her head something must've happen that she's not aware of and she's going to find out what it is but, for now she'll keep an eye on her. She kept herself calm whenever she taunts Brenda about Dylan picking her (Kelly) instead of herself. She had to remain calm. Brenda knew that when it comes with Kelly Taylor it didn't just happen, she went after Dylan and got him. That lying two face gold digger whore slut of a hoe.
Yes, that's exactly what she was, and she should've listened to those girls that called her that and to think she defended that bitch. Ugh. she looked at the time and knew that she had to go to school so she can graduate and get out of Beverly Hills if she had to; she wasn't planning to stay here another minute but, she's been feeling nauseated and fled to the bathroom that she shared with her brother.
Lately she's been feeling sick from the last 3 ½ months usually when she gets sick it doesn't last this long but, it would happen off and on. Maybe it was time to see the doctor to see if she had the flu or something? She finished throwing up and got into the shower to get ready for school. She hated going to school now and watching Kelly with the man that Brenda herself loved, Dylan. Whenever Kelly would catch Brenda alone Kelly has been throwing it in her face that Dylan chooses her and not Brenda. Kelly would say the meanest things to Brenda, her weight, her losing Dylan and that she had purposely gone after Brenda's boyfriend and how Brenda's inexperience could've kept a man like Dylan satisfied in the bedroom. When they're with her friends Kelly was nice, trying to get Brenda to forgive her but, Kelly would deny saying she never said anything mean to Brenda
She had no friends of her own besides her childhood friends Valerie Malone who lives in New York with her mom right now and missed her bunches and then there's Buffy Summers who she met in cheerleading camp and kept in touch who lives in Sunnydale then her youngest cousins who lives in San Deigo in a boarding school of PCA—Pacific Coast Academy, then there's one in Washington and another in Los Angeles which is her youngest cousin Hayley Steele who's also involved with the demon world or in this case the monster world; she's a Trooper, who's like a hunter that hunts on demons, monsters etc.
During their long conversation Buffy told her about being a vampire slayer and probably the only person who knows about the situation with Angel and how she's a mother of Quints herself and had to call Hermione for help; to hide the children from Angel finding them plus her friends weren't very helpful so that's what she did; that was 2 years ago; the last time she talked to Buffy was when she was dealing with Angel being a stalker, jealous ex-boyfriend.
It was driving her insane and hiding secrets from her it was starting to piss her off and then she found out that her mom is sick; she wasn't sure if it was serious because after that things got so busy for them both that Brenda has no idea that her childhood best friend who's her cousin from her mom, being her aunt Joyce in her dad's side Buffy Summers died from saving the world, her sister Dawn from a goddess (female God) and was brought back from the dead from her so called best friend Willow Rosenburg and their friends. No one knew in Buffy's family side knew that she passed away or that their mom Joyce Summers died from having a brain tumor and their little cousin Dawn was homeless or abandoned but, that's about to change when Hermione called her and went to visit her from her little business trip.
During the whole ideal, she felt alone, and it depressed her to no end. She got her book bag after she finished dressing up and blowing drying her hair up in a high pony tail; She looked at the mirror and decided to look nice today; she put cat eye make-up today with mix of purple, green and blue which looked really nice and put some cover up from the bags under her eyes just so it wouldn't look like she hasn't slept well which she hasn't but, with the sleeping pills it helped a bit that was until she felt her cell phone ring by her cousin Hermione, her oldest cousin in her dad's side.
"Hello?"
"Hey Brenda, it's me Mio,"
"Mio omg how are you? Haven't talked to you in awhile,"
"I know I've been so busy that I haven't got a chance to catch up with you. How's everything with you?"
"Good…just been busy,"
"That's good how's Dylan and everyone,"
"…."
"Bren-Bren? You, okay?"
Brenda cleared her throat, mentally hurt herself on the head, remembering that she hasn't told all her cousins about her breakup with Dylan.
"Oh…Dylan and I…we're not together anymore,"
"Oh no….what happen I thought you two were in love,"
"…I thought we were too…until I found out something,"
"Oh…? What did you find out?"
"He's been cheating on me when I was in Paris with Donna this past summer,"
"I'm sorry care to repeat that?"
Brenda sighed tiredly "Dylan…cheated on me with …someone this past summer when I was in Paris with Donna,"
"You went to Paris for how long?"
"Almost the whole summer but, Donna and I decided to come home a month early so….that's when I found out that Dylan been cheating on me…"
"That two face bastard who did he cheat on you with?"
"…that's another thing do you remember Kelly Taylor the one that I told you about?"
"Yes your bestie right?"
"Former bestie,"
"Why former bestie?"
"That's the girl that Dylan cheated on me,"
"HE DID WHAT?!"
"Yeah …that's what Prue, Piper, Phoebe and I said…"
"Oh Godrics, Prue, Phoebe and Piper know too? What did Brandon do?"
"I feel like he doesn't know…but, then again I don't know…to be honest…as far as I know he's more than happy to be in their side instead of his twin sister,"
"….You're kidding,"
"Nope."
"What did your parents say,"
"They only know parts of it?"
"Which part?"
"Only the part that Dylan and I broke up they never knew why we broke up,"
"Oh, Godric's I am so sorry Brenda is there anything that I can do to help?"
"Yes, there is actually?"
"Really oh tell me?"
"Well, I have a favor…to ask ummm have you heard from Buffy I haven't heard in almost six months almost to a year and I'm worried. I remember the last time Buffy and I talked…auntie Joyce was sick…"
"Sick…you knew auntie Joyce was sick?"
"Well, she just barley found out that time,"
"Oh…if you knew before you would've told me, wouldn't you?"
"Of course. She's not just auntie Joyce to me you know, she's also my godmother and Brandon's as well,"
"Well, she's our godmother to most of our cousins Bren but, yes, it is crazy huh? I haven't heard from either Buffy or auntie Joyce either; I remember Buffy told me that Dawnie staying with them for now on something about their dad getting remarried and Dawnie wanted to stay with her and auntie Joyce for the time being full custody all that," Hermione began to say pausing for a moment "Actually speaking of America I was planning to visit you guys and I was wondering if you mind if I come over there?"
"Really when?" Brenda asked feeling excitedly.
"Soon. within a week in the latest. Do you want to come with me to visit Buffy?"
"Yes, I would? There's a mini vacation from my school for the seniors anyway. We get to pick a place to stay as a vacation like a volunteer work, we can only do that for the week and I thought going away for awhile would help me move on a bit. What do you think?"
"I think that's brilliant. Tell you what I will call you as soon as I arrive to America"
"Where are you going to stay in?"
"I have a vacation house you remember the one vacation house that we used to come as kids, the one in Glendale,"
"Yes, I remember. What about it?"
"I'ma be staying there since grandma-ma did leave it to me since I'm the replica of her growing up so I'll be staying there instead of a hotel,"
"Or you can stay with me and Brandon with mom and dad. I bet daddy would love that,"
"You think they'd mind,"
"I honestly think they would love that Mio. They miss you they all miss you among the rest of the family we need a vacation,"
"Yes, I agree. Alright it's settled then I'll come stay with you. Just let auntie and uncle know alright,"
"I will,"

Whoooo! I'm done with this prologue it took me a while to figure out what to start with but, this is after Brenda learned about Dylan and Kelly sneaking around behind her back while she was in Paris with Donna. Trust me there's going to be some changes around but, her cousins and her childhood best friends are involved in this story. Let me know what ya'll think?
