Few minutes later - The Dreamarena
From below the stage, a platform rose up. Revealing Helena, the main runner of the Dead or Alive tournament.
"Welcome to the official Dead or Alive tournament!" The crowd went cheered in excitement. "I know. It's is an honor holding the tournámént and I know everyone is excited to see what aré ze newcomérs of the Dimensions tournámént." With the snap of a finger, Helena showed off the contestants. The first row revealed the fighters: Leifang, Jann Lee, Hitomi, Tina Armstrong, Bass Armstrong, Christie and Eliot.
The second row then revealed: Helena, Kokoro, Zack, Gen Fu, Brad Wong, Bayman and La Mariposa.
The last row then revealed the newcomers: Sonic The Hedgehog, Knuckles The Echidna, Yang Xiao Long, Lie Ren and a mysterious person who goes under the alias of "Dragon".
Back in Emerald Hill
"/Any of y'all back watching this outside of the Zone! You're gonna be hella excited on who will be named the winner!/" Akira and friends were watching at a restaurant.
"What are ya watching?"
"Dead or Alive."
"What's that?" Max said.
"A fighting tournament filled with one of the most hottest and sexiest female fighters possible!" Ryuji said before Rene, Alex and Max joined with the others.
"Pfft. Boys." Ann said as the girls giggled.
"(That maiko girl does look like a cutie though...)" May thought
In Chemical Plant
Team Chaotix watched the tournament through Vector's phone. Well, mostly Espio and Vector. Both tried to block charmy from seeing the fight that's about to start.
"C'mon Guys! Just let me watch with you guys!"
"And let your innocence be tainted by what contents is shown here? I don't think so!"
"But our friends are in the tournament!"
"You're too young to be watching this!" They continued blocking his view until...
"/And of course, the winners will be given the prize of 10 million Rings and will be named the champion of Dimensions!/" Their eyes turned into Dollars signs.
"Okay... Maybe you should join in but don't tell anyone about this... Okay?" Vector whispered as Charmy nodded and gave a thumbs up.
"Will they ever split the money and give us some so we can pay off the debt?"
"Pay debt? We're buying a new house and office and we're practically giving the IRS a penny with that prize money!" Vector boldly said before getting back to watching the tournament

"Tónight! Evén if there are lossés, we're here to witness, appreciate and evén respect the strengths of those who tried theír very best to win. Let us celebrate the night off wíth..." The screen began randomizing who's gonna fight who before it was settled

Sonic The Hedgehog and Knuckles The Echidna Vs... Tina Armstrong and Bass Armstrong
The crowd yelled out in excitement.
"Who are they?" Yang asks.
"A daughter/father wrestling duo who the former wants to become more than just a fighter. I'm sure Tina is a movie star as well?" Sonic says as the two approaches the Hedgehog and Echidna.
"So y'must be that animal who's savin' our butts from that Eggman fella huh?"
"Uh huh."
"It'll be fun fightin' against ya!"
"Hehe! You say that when we're gonna win this prize!"
"Oooh! Gettin' competitive, aren't ya? I love that!" Bass said before noticing Yang's gauntlets. "Hey missy? What's that thing yer wearin'?"
"Ember Celica! With these two babies, no one will even stand a chance against me!" She bumped two of her fists together as a shotgun noise was heard and shells fell out of the gauntlets. Everyone but Ren, Sonic and Knuckles were startled by the noise
"That's a weapon? I'm sorry but those aren't allowed."
"huh..?" Yang was caught off guard by Tina's response.
"Either you placed em in a safe room or it's no fight. It's yer choice really." Yang didn't had much choice in either not helping her friends win their friend's freedom or her weapons. She quickly chose the former. Taking her weapons off before turning to Ren.
""Your weapons"?" Ren passed Storm flower to her. "What do i do with these?"
"We'll take it from here hon." The wrestler says. Taking the weapons away from the huntress and hunter.
"Well. What are we supposed to do..."
"Fight with nothing more than a kick and punch. It's all in the mind right?"
"I guess so." Tina returned as she and her dad got into a fighting stance. Sonic and Knuckles walked forward to the arena. Fences began to sprung and cover the place, separating from both the contestants and the fighters.
"Let's see what ya got ya red'n'blue rodents!" Bass yelled.
"Welcome to the Dead or Alive Dimensions tournament folks. Me and my co-host Joe will be commentating this fight. Tonight, we're gonna seeing a tag team fight of two people! Hailing from South Island and Angel Island are Sonic the Hedgehog and Knuckles the Echidna! Duos that have their own ways of living life! Contrasting from Free winded spirit to being a guardian of a giant miracle gem that if anything bad happens to it might cause the very existence of the current civilization going under! These two heroes, even if they butt heads with each other, have save us from the evil Doctor Eggman!"
"And from this corner are people that have hailed from Texas! The Father/daughter duo, Tina and Bass Armstrong! The two, although not much exactly same as Sonic and Knuckles, have butted heads with each other! A hot shot daughter with an buff hot headed father not allowing to do her own thing? It's kinda embarrassing don't ya think Joe?"
"To be honest Grub, he doesn't want her to leave the family tradition."
"True! Though i do miss her being on the Chaos in Space series on Ring's streaming service. She's has that thang y'know? Onto her dad though, not only is he one of America's greatest wrestlers. He's also a hero! He saved millions of people from a terrorist attack that happened back in the fourth Dead or Alive tournament!"
"Oh wow? I didn't even know that. You said millions right?"
"Exactly my friend! Even though blue and red have saved our world, we can't forget about how this man risked his life to save the lives of people who wanted to see an exciting and fair fight. No weapons. No super special finisher moves unless you are low on health. Just a pure unadulterated good ol' fight. Let's get this out of the way folks. Who ever finishes that person in Tag Team mode will be able to fight in singles. It's a rinse and repeat process that surely gets things freshen up. These people have to use the three system that's known for Dead of Alive that is like rock paper scissors in this sense. Blows, Holds and Throws. Blows beat Throws, Throws beat Holds, and Holds beat Blows. Holds essentially being a counterattack where you grab the enemy the moment they attack. There's different ways of how you could do it depending how high or low attacks are."

"Anyways, Let's start off with our first match! The
Round 1... FIGHT!
Soundtrack Play: Dead or Alive 6 - The Muscle
Knuckles and Base stood aside as Sonic and Tina ran at each other. Sonic curled into a ball to get the first hit on the American girl. Tina grabbed a hold of the Hedgehog and slammed him into the ground. The crowd yelled as Tina then threw him out.
"OOOOOF! You got some strength!"
"Thanks hon!" Sonic spindashed towards her where she began to prepare herself, only for Sonic to fake out and hit her from behind. Tina stood up and kicked him in the head two times, jabbed, staggered, launched him in the air grabbed and spun him around until she let go. "Y'sure yer the same guy who saved us from Robotonic or whatever his name was?" The fighter quickly ran towards where her opponent was. The hedgehog stood up and dodged Tina's attack by holding and sweeping her off the ground.
"TINA! SWEETHEART! GO FOR THE OPPORTUNITY OF TAG TEAM ATTACK!" Bass yelled to his daughter. She nodded and combo'd Sonic with low side kick, a side jab and grabbed him. Bass would instantly join in and the two slammed the hedgehog with a powerful throw attack.
"Hey Knux! Could ya take my place for a bit!?" Knuckles took his friend's place as Bass did with Tina.
"Well well, if it ain't the protector of the Master Emerald! How's the attack me and my sweet daughter did to yer friend?" Bass threw a punch at Knuckles, only for he would grab ahold of him.
"Real impressive but you gotta understand you're facing against the guardian of Angel Island!" He punched him back and spindashed towards the pro wrestler. He stood until the move Knuckles did made him slip up and was grabbed, resulting in him being launched into the air and was piled drived. Knuckles heard a whistle and turned to Sonic making the noise. The two would do a tag team attack with the former curling up into a ball and the latter spiking him towards where the Bass was.
"ARGH!!"
"DAD!"
"Don't worry about me sweetie! Do yer old man a favor n' mess these animals up!" Tina switched her dad's place. She went after her opponent as she jumped in the hedgehog's face and dropped him down to the floor. As he quickly recovered, Sonic backed off just far enough to floor sweeped the girl off the ground before juggling her with a 6 hit combo attack that consisted of three jabs, an updraft kick, a wind up punch and a finishing kick. Bass hopped back into the ring and delivered a heavy hook to Sonic's gut, leaving him stunned for a bit as he headbutted him away.
Sonic stood up and spindashed up towards Bass before having Knuckles take his place. The echidna kicked him in the chest and jumped on his body.
KO!
Sonic and Knuckles won the first round and everyone shouted. The duo gave them "thank you" to those who are supporting them before giving out healing rings to their opponents.
"Yeesh... That was impressive y'little varmints."
"Impressive? Sure but clearly, you should already know us by now."
"Oooh! Keep the attitude up hon! The more y'get cocky, the more excited this fight is gonna be!"
"Excited huh? Sure, I'd be more than willing to make everyone have the best night of their lives." Both fighters got into position.
Round 2... FIGHT!
Sonic and Bass stood back while Knuckles and Tina now going up against each other. He charged up for a powerful hook punch before Tina dodged the attack staggered him with a kick to the head and punching him two times before letting out a more stronger one and launched, spiked him to the ground with a axekick, slammed her fist down and grabbed his legs and stretched him in the most painful way possible.
"GAH!" Knuckles winced before getting back up.
"Did that make yer bones loosin' up a bit?"
"I didn't feel a thing." Knuckles weakly said before quickly brushing the pain off, spindashed and jumped over Tina, punched, grabbed, headbutted and tackled her. The Echidna was about spindash her into the ground but the wrestler grabbed his leg. Making him fall, grabbed and suplexed him. "Hey blue! You mind taking my place- MMPH!" Knuckles yelled before being smothered in the breasts of his opponent and was slammed into the ground.
In Emerald Hill
"OOOOOOH!"
"God... I wish that were me..."
Chemical Plant
"Uh? What move was that?"
"We'll tell ya when you're older Charmy."
Casino Night
"Ooo! I bet anyone wishes that Tina could do that to them!"
"Grub? You were taking pictures of her in action."
"Hehe... Ain't Joe funny folks?"
Sonic tagged in his friend's place.
"Hey pops!" Tina switched with Bass. The old man charged towards Sonic ready to knock him. Sonic then parried, spindashed and kicked him away.
"Is that how it's gonna be huh... BRING IT ON!" He yelled. Getting ready to throw a punch once more, the hedgehog curled up for a spindash and was ready to attack opponent. Everyone watching expected what was gonna happen until Bass grabbed the spinning hedgehog. "Y'THINK I'M GONNA LET SOME BLUE VARMINT DEFEAT ME THIS EASILY WILL HE?!" He yelled before slamming him to ground.
Bass and Tina then grabbed the hedgehog for a tag team attack with Tina taking her dad's place. Sonic stood up, winding his fist up and throwing it at Tina, she grabbed a hold of him and kicked his back. She started charging up then going for a powerful kick, powerful punch and eventually, knocking him out.
"GAAAAH!" Sonic winced in pain and defeated.
KO!
"You heard it here folks. The daughter of America's greatest heroes managed to win a second round! The next round will be it and after that! It's Yang and Ren's turn!"
"Those who are watching at home, we will be displaying QR codes for the chance to win an all expense paid trip to New Zack Island! Heard they're already constructing a third one after the last was... Huh? Is this a joke? Is Zack telling us he was rescued by Aliens right before the volcano took the island down the second time?"
"Oof..." Sonic's communicator started rumbling. "Hello-"
"SONIC! WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE LAST FIGHT!?IS THAT TINA CHICK DISTRACTING YOU?!" Vector's spoke out.
"WOAH! Simmer down Vecs. We almost got it but-"
"Hey Sonic-san. Weren't you and Knuckles distracted by Tina?" Makoto spoke
"I- uh..."
"Sonic-Kun! Where are the others! You're not forgetting them aren't ya?" Amamiya's spoke out as well.
"Hey Knux! How did Tina's attack felt?" Max said before everyone started to speak all at once.
"SHUT IT!" Knuckles yelled. Silencing everyone who were talking. "Let Sonic explain why we're fighting and we'll know why."
"Thanks Knux. Anyways, I asked Axel Stone who's luckily not captured regarding where our friends are and apparently. The prize money's been switched with our friends."
"HUH!!?" Everyone yelled in confusion.
"...How does one confuse the capsules with prize money..." Knuckles questions.
"Beats me. Although i can say someone's getting trouble for that one." Futaba sighs.
"Guess that sweet sweet next gen console can wait a little longer...I even heard they resolved the restock issue as well.."
"As much as how disappointed it was to hear this news, it's best to focus on rescuing our friends." Espio said.
"You got that right."
"If anything, it should be Eggman who'll get in trouble. I can assume he's using that DOATEC money for his empire." Sonic chuckled before looking at the tournament again.
"Oh! Yeah. We'll be right back! The next match is about to start!"
"Just remember Sonic and that goes for you too Knuckles. Don't get reckless. Learn the pattern and strategies your opponents throws at you and once their guard is down, get ready to strike!"
"Don't forget to tell Yang and Ren about this too!"
"Hey bud. Once all of this is over, you don't mind compensating us?" Vector said before laughing. "Just jesting of course! Rescue our friends alright?" Sonic laughed.
"Yeah, of course." Sonic then turned off the communicator and before the two were ready to enter.
"Hey! Sonic! Knuckles!" Yang yelled as she threw healing rings at them. The duo grabbed the rings and gave a thumbs up to their friend before heading to the arena.
"This is it for the first match everyone!" Everyone excitedly yelled. Screaming out to their favorite fighters to win the final round and head to the next match, the duo closed their eyes, took a deep breath, clenched their fists, getting into a fighting position and opening them. Getting a ready as their opponents did the same thing until...
Final Round... FIGHT!
Sonic and Bass went running at each other. The wrestler prepared to arm drop as the hedgehog slid under and kick him. His opponent quickly turned around and blocked the attack before grabbing the blue blur by the throat, slammed him to the ground and stomped him in the face with his daughter stepping in and fell down on him. Tina switched into her dad's position as Sonic stood up. Tina quickly turned around and threw her butt towards Sonic as he struck back with a flip kick. Now, being launched in the air. Sonic gave a 5 hit attack before letting Knuckles taking in and piled drived her.
"UGGOOH! I'm here away from the fight and i can already feel that!"
"Y'little critters are somethin' else... but let's see how you can do this!" Tina began charging. Seeing this as the opportunity to take her down, Knuckles rushed towards her to deliver his mighty punch until he was knocked away from her ass so mighty and so powerful, it made the fellow Americans watching the fight proud. The echidna stood up in a extreme blushing mess before shaking it off and went for a glide attack, a kick that stunned her and then charged up an attack that unleashed a flurry of punches with the last one knocking her out of the ring.
"GAH- OOOOF!" Tina's dad became flabbergasted at what the opponent did to his daughter.
"Y'dirty vermins made the biggest mistake of messin' up an Armstrong..." He quietly said before hopping into the match, grabbed Knuckles by the throat and slammed him.
"OOOH BOY. I think Red here might've pissed off papa bear for knocking his daughter into a ring out, Don't ya say fellas?
Bass tapped his arm two times before doing the armdrop. Knuckles was unfortunate enough to avoid this attack before being picked up and was kicked two times, low style, before being punched with a charged hook and then having his legs being stretched painfullly. Sonic then took his friend's place before he was out completely. Bass then went charging at him like a bull and slammed both his arms at him. Grabbing him by the legs as he did before with Knuckles, the wrestler spun around and sent Sonic up into the air as he chased and power drived him. The hedgehog quickly recovered, kicked and launched him for a juggling combo attack that surely left the crowd getting pumped it for how the match will end.
Sonic then dropped the combo and revved up a Spindash to end things off, only for the heavy weight pro-wrestler to grab him by the arms and did a face crusher to the floor. More cheers had kept popping off.
"THIS IS IT FOLKS! THE BATTLE AGAINST TWO OF THIS TOURNAMENT'S HEAVY HITTERS! FACING ONE ON ONE AND WHOEVER WINS WILL PROCEED TO MOVE ON TO THE NEXT OPPONENT!" As Joe said in excitement, everyone in the stadium were yelling to Knuckles and Bass' name. Knuckles jumped in and did a overhand slam dunk, spiking him hard enough to be stunned. Giving the guy a two piece Knuckle Sandwich and punched him away. Bass then started to get pumped up as he charged towards the echidna. The two clashed, each making sure to keep their strengths up to see who can make it to the next opponent.
"I gotta admit to ya varmint! Yer putting up a good fight!"
"I can honestly say the same thing but we all know who's gonna win.."
"Hoohoo! Getting cocky are we?!" Bass was beginning to overpower Knuckles, even he was starting lose a bit of his balance.
"Y-you honestly think you could beat someone who's tougher than leather?" The echinda quickly regain balance and slowly but surely started to overthrow the wrestler out. He headbutt to stagger him, sent a flurry of punches and spun him three time before jumping into the air and slammed Bass.
DING! DING! DING!

The crowd screamed over the victory.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE IT FOLKS! THE MASTER EMERALD GUARDIAN AND THE BLUE BLUR HAS DEFEATED THE AMERICAN ICONS! LEEEEEEEET'S GOOOOOOOOO!" Bass laid on the ground. Groaning before getting back up.
"That... was... AMAZING!" He yelled before carrying up Knuckles onto his shoulder. "LET'S GIVE IT UP TO NEWCOMERS TO FACE UP AGAINST MY DAUGHTER AND I! SONIC AND KNUCKLES! SONIC AND KNUCKLES! SONIC AND KNUCKLES!" The crowd joined in the chanting.
"I gotta hand to ya. We underestimate y'critters."
"Oh. Hehe, No lie though, We've never thought we'd be fighting against you and your dad."
"Really hun? It's an honor fighting you and yer red friend." Sonic chuckled and shook Tina's hand.
Minutes later...
Sonic and Knuckles rested next to Yang and Ren waiting who their opponent will be.
"That was seriously amazing Sonic. Especially you Knux! The way you threw that Bass guy down was just amazing!"
"Oh don't mention it. I might've been a bit too aggressive though."
"It didn't seem to aggressive to me. You were having really giving it your all." Ren assured his friend he did well in the fight.
"Well technically, i did weaken him. Just letting you know why defeating Bass was more easier."
"Oh please." Yang laughed.
"Yang Xiao Long. Lie Ren. Please enter the Dreamarena for the opponent you'll be facing up against."
"It's our turn now! See you later!"
"Before you go actually, Makoto told us to tell you to that you should keep a good eye on your opponent and their strategies. It keeps the battle unpredictable and your winning chances to save our friends easier." Yang gave a thumbs up and Ren nodded. The two would then walk towards the Arena.
This next fight is already heating up! Sonic and Knuckles won against American's favorites and Yang and Ren will be fighting against whoever the tournament chooses! Can you take a guess what hot babe or sexy man will be facing against the two hunters? Oops! I ain't saying anything...

"Whistles That's sick but not quite sick yet."
Oh god. A new chapter made for the first time in months? Funny how it was with the actual development of Sonic 2 (the game)... RWBY The hedgehog 2 has managed to run into several issues. Let's catch up to speed. I know i said i promised several things that are now poorly aged (RTH3, etc). Well... New release date: They'll be ready once it's ready. I can admit i was getting way too far ahead of being ambitious (something i fear that it would happen) and promise things that are in no way possible of reaching without the risk of losing any sleep and rest.
I am deeply sorry for those who are still reading what i write and even then, i am feeling mixed with how i did this overall story. I like what i wrote so far but I'm also left here wondering how i could've done better. I am entering college class soon but I'll do my absolute best i write down chapters as often and as well as i possibly can and don't leave you all in the dark (It's not an absolute guarantee since all of us have something important to do in out lives. Please bear with me here.)
I am merely just one person handling all what you're reading and i would love to ask my friends for help but i don't want to distract/pull them away from what they're doing. I feel absolutely anxious approaching them and that this is a series, while mainly focusing and based on the adventures of the blue blur's history, has characters and series that go beyond Sonic and it felt like a disservice not representing them here and took the safer route with Nintendo. Yeah, everyone loves Nintendo, i do too but not to the same extent i have for SEGA.
In spite of everything that has happened so far and how i feel of the overall quality of RTH2 so far (trust me. I'm just as mixed as well) and i want it to be the best it can, It's better if i just go along with the ride and have fun writing it and if Miles has taught me everything, it's best that i do my own thing (pretty much like everyone feels does it with stories like these whether it's a crossover or not and disregarding the actual RWBY story since... yeah).
There's a lot to catch up, so let's see what has happened while the production of RWBY The Hedgehog 2 is kinda going slow.
-Watched Mario, Twisted Metal (the TV show) Nimona, Puss in Boots and Spider-Man (I'm starting to prefer Miles over Peter now). I really want to see TMNT: Mutant Mayhem
-The Microsoft Activision buyout is just about done
-Update 1 and 2 for Frontiers is out and i absolutely love it. I couldn't wait for Update 3
-My friends found out who i really am (I'll give out context in some form whether it'd be this format or in a google doc in the next chapter which it'll be spun into it's own separate thing before moving onto Act 2. I don't think it's possible to cram every fight here into one singular chapter without feeling like it's fluff.)
-SEGA bought Rovio (RTH is having it's roster expanded even more. It's interesting to see Red, Chuck and Bomb hang out with Morgana, Ichiban, Tails and Ruby lol).
-Enjoyed my time in San Francisco (might use my time over there for elements once we reach the RWBY adaptation for SA2. Just making sure I don't disappear for nearly half a year doing whatever)
-Got into a scamming problem (all of this has long since been finished but it wasn't a fun time. Yeesh... At least my friends cheered me up about it! Read that PSA they made. Even my boy Rayman makes appearance. It won't confirm he'd be part of SRS until way later down the line but hey, he's in)
-Brand new 2D entries for both Mario and Sonic. The latter of which has the series' co-creator (who's not in jail and isn't a scumbag) finally coming back to work on the series for the first time since SA1
-Shantae's cancelled GBA game has been revived and is currently releasing next year
-A brand new Prince of Persia game in over 13 years has been announced and it's a DMC inspired metroidvania developed by the chads at Ubisoft Montpelier and the Sparks of Hope DLC finally has Rayman coming back 10 years after Legends came out (Oh god. i was in middle school when it first came out)
-Gex is back. Cool.
-As of writing this. The writers and actor's strike is hurting Hollywood. Keep up the good fight people. Don't let that AI crap win and make sure the mfs know where it really hurts.
-RoosterTeeth is now making fan contents happen and using them without our consent. I would say something thing but i really don't want to get in trouble here. I'll Let you guys think that as you will
