It had been months, almost a year since they had last been face to face, but the war had distanced them, sending them to separate missions.
"Barriss!" Ahsoka raised her voice in greeting, her voice echoing in the vast hallway. The older Padawan turned as she recognized the voice, and her eyes lit up at the sight of her friend. Her face, which last time looked somewhat pale compared to her natural greenish-yellow hue of the Mirialan race, Barriss had regained some color, and her posture was no longer as tense and rigid as the last time they saw each other. "Glad to see you!"
