A/N: Greetings and hello once again! I know this is old hat by now but I'm sorry for once again leaving y'all hanging for so long. I know I said I'd be back with double updates + a finished fic, but currently given that my work/life schedule is looking to dramatically increase in September I am no longer certain when this fic will be fully finished. 95% of Day 5 is done so I will post with what I have. If I am diligent I might get Day 6 done as well (there will be 7 in total). The final day and epilogue material I would like to complete fully before posting so we will see when that is done. I do truly want to complete this fic, even if it does take me much longer than anticipated.

Thanks as always for reading. Please leave comments/critiques/etc down below! It is no exaggeration the spike in motivation upon seeing even one.

Cobra's fragmented dreams consisted of strange, gray eyes following him as he twisted through a labyrinth of the seedy area of Magnolia, every other building that accursed love doctor shack. Somehow, even when he couldn't see them, he knew the eyes were always watching him. It left him frustrated and caged, feeling like an animal being toyed with. When he awoke, he rubbed his eyes blearily, his exhaustion not changed in the least.

Macbeth was also gone. Great. Now he couldn't even get an answer to that question. He was too tired to even try and hear the sneaky reflector mage's thoughts in hopes of catching him. Perhaps Macbeth had wised up and realized he shouldn't be caught alone with the agitated dragonslayer right now. At the very least, Cobra swore he would keep Macbeth to his promise of explaining everything today.

Stretching, he tried filling his head with mindless thoughts to drown out all the other noise before exiting the tent.
