Part 3 of the auditions! And we've officially reached the single-digit rankings! Or well… at least after Katrina's tape. It's time for 10th-7th to get their tapes!

I hope you all enjoy these, these were fun to do. See you at the bottom for more author notes!

Katrina Burns:

Static blasts as the tape begins, showing a security camera's angle into a meeting room. Katrina sits on a couch, with two more seats and a clock on the wall. Opposite to the intern, a one-way window shows her boredom to the outside.

"Tick tock, tick tock," the girl repeats the clock's noise, utterly bored. Suddenly, the door opens, letting Don enter the room. "Took you long enough," Katrina mutters. "I've been in here what, half an hour?"

"Sorry about that, Katrina," Don nods. "We had to get all of your paperwork together."

Katrina grumbles, "At least it wasn't the other word."

"What do you mean?" Don questions. "Con-."

"Yes, that's what I mean," Katrina raises her voice to cut Don off before she rolls her eyes. "Don't finish that word."

"Right," Don starts, before looking at his paper. "Well, as you probably remember, you signed the paperwork, and you refused to return to the show."

"Heck yeah, I did!" Katrina yells. "I don't care if I had one more season, or twenty, I'm done!"

Don grimaces at this. "Well, in your paper-," Don sighs, slight conflict on his face before he says, "It's going to be a lot harder to say this if I can't say the word, so I'm sorry. Contract, I guess. Do you remember a small clause? On about… page eight?"

"Page eight?" Katrina raises an eyebrow. "Of what? Twenty? Of course not." Her face then changes to a glare as she folds her arms.

"Well," Don pauses, before closing his eyes. "We… can't allow you to leave this. Page eight has a clause that says refusal to participate in five seasons is a breach of contract. As we are on season four of it, you can either get fined, or we cast you in the season instead."

"Wait, what?" The woman's eyes widen before she stands up with a start. "YOU WOULDN'T DARE!"

Don stands up, his eyes cold. "Production dares. If I have one request, it's to let Chris have it. From what I hear he personally got that clause added."

"You won't find me," The ex-intern walks towards the door. "It's a great big world out there, and I already have five different pseudonyms planned to go under if this ever happened."

"Then we'll get Otis or Norville. Plus if you ever are found, it's not going to look good for you." After shrugging, Don sighs. "Look. I'm sorry about this."

Katrina quickly looks up, still defensive. "What?"

Don's face changes to a frown. "I have to be honest, It's all in your contract, it's all true, but the way I said it…? I just wanted to see how Chris does it. This isn't me though. I'm sorry."

The intern blinks a couple of times, before saying, "You suck at being Chris, for one. Secondly, why are you even saying this?"

"Because I need to admit this to someone, and you look like someone that can hold a secret." Don then leans in and begins whispering. "Productions wants Chris gone. But they don't want the fans to hate them for this, cause if someone just replaces Chris… it's not going to be pretty. They're giving him a season and putting me as someone to watch over him so he can do something dumb and they can let me take over afterwards."

"Really?" The former intern's jaw hits the floor. "Chris getting taken down a peg is something I'd gladly pay to see." she then goes back to her normal speaking voice a go. "Maybe I'll give this dumb show a chance then. As a camper, if I'm out first I won't complain."

"You need to sign the… paperwork," Don admits before pausing, leaning in again. "One more thing. I've noticed the show tends to bring out the worst in people. I need to do a season of Total Drama so I get another season of Ridonculous Race greenlit. If I do anything awful and you're around. Call me out."

Don puts out his hand, as Katrina shakes it. "Alright boss man, you've got yourself a deal." The intern then grabs the paper, her face quickly changing to a frown as she shudders, before she begins writing and the scene fades out.

Rory Campbell:

The scene begins in a changing room as the tall, bulky man getting filmed takes a football helmet off, revealing the smiling man underneath. "Is it recording?" He quickly questions.

"Yeah, you're up Rory." Someone off-camera says.

"Thanks, Coach!" As the coach walks away offscreen, Rory chuckles. "Can I just say, I'm kinda nervous about this all things considered." He then chuckles lightly. "Well, I'm Rory, and I like sports if you couldn't tell. I mean, I'm my football team's star quarterback and the shooting guard for the basketball team. I wouldn't really be a happy man if I wasn't a big fan of sports."

The jock pauses, stuck in thought before saying, "Well if you want what I'm good at, I think I'll be pretty good physically, and I'm not antisocial or anything." Footage of Rory kicking a field goal and cheering is shown.

The jock shrugs, "I dunno if this is gonna sound full of myself, but I like to think I'm pretty nice overall." The next footage shown is Rory noticing a flower in the middle of the court, leading to him quickly throwing the ball to another player and dodging to his right to avoid the plant.

Cutting back from his flashback, Rory continues, "I'm a team player."

"Now team," the scene changes to Rory's coach cheering his team on. "You're gonna go back out there, and you're gonna make those Possums do more than just play dead!"

Rory and his team all cheer.

Now during a basketball match, Rory gets thrown the ball, before running over towards the hoop as Rory's voice plays over the scene. "And well… yeah, I'm the guy you want if you want a friendly guy that can kick butt in challenges."

The camera, now swaps between the basketball and football games as Rory approaches the goal in both. Shown at the exact same time, Rory performs a slam dunk in basketball and a touchdown in football.

Now focusing back on the football match, the jock gets raised into the air by his teammates. In the background, someone, presumably the opposing team's coach, performs a slow clap. Rory laughs for a few moments before cheering.

"And I guess that's why I'd be good in Total Drama!" Rory smiles. "I hope you consider me!" The tape then fades out.

Carol Lance:

An extremely annoyed and uninterested-looking man stands in front of a very obviously green-screened background. "Uh… I've got a bank to rob?" He says. The guy then sighs, holding up a fake gun. "Do I really ha-."

A booming sound effect cuts off the voice as the guy turns around to see a figure, hidden in silhouette and up on a raised platform.

"STOP RIGHT THERE VILE VILLAIN!" the figure screams as the camera cuts to the disinterested expression of the supposed burglar. Another cut shows the voice, now revealed to be Carol, stepping out of the shadows, her hands on her hips and a confident smile evident.

Carol leaps off the platform, jumping down and throws a fake punch at the criminal, as they half-heartedly fall to the ground.

"Am I done now?" They ask, as Carol quickly straightens up, pulling them up.

"W-well, yeah I guess."

The guy then stands up, before he walks offscreen, leaving Carol by herself. The superhero's face loses its luster for a second, before she quickly regains her confidence, turning back to the camera.

"W-well! I suppose you want a showcase of my abilities and secret identity, right?" She gives a wistful smile, before taking off her domino mask.

"Well, while by day, Carol Lance is a recently graduated High School student with a love of comic books and aspirations of proving herself in the real world. At night, she becomes her superhero alter ego, THE GOLDEN SWAN!"

The girl places the mask back on, before cheering. "If I can compete, I will with the shocking powers of Judo and Karate! Plus, seeing as I keep up with my training, I'm well prepared for anything sporty in the game."

Carol then goes to her belt, opening it, and pulling out marbles. "Plus, I've got a bunch of different gadgets to help me through the game as well, your normal rope slash grappling hooks, stunning sauce packets from the local fast food restaurants, a water bottle to keep me hydrated, and these!" She then throws the marbles on the ground, "tripping weapons!"

Unfortunately for the girl, she steps on the marbles, which trip her over, sending her flying onto the ground with a yelp and a thud.

A few seconds later, she puts her hand up, in view of the camera. "I'm okay! But maybe I need to think about the tripping weapons a little more…." She then focuses the camera downwards so it's focusing on her sitting on the ground, as she finishes with, "Please pick me for some heroic action in your show! The Golden Swan is ready to be the hero the show needs!"

Jake Williamson:

Jake begins the tape, rotating the camera into place as he asks, "Okay, let's see, is this on?" His eyes wander slightly before he says, "Oh, yeah it is, cool."

The guy clears his throat. "Well, thank you for watching my tape, it's great you're giving me the time of day to sign up for this. I admit I haven't really watched the show itself but I get the general concept. Join the game, do challenges, make friends and vote people off until you hopefully win."

After standing up with a smile, Jake adds. "From what I can gather, people do like to strategise and play the bad guy, but I hope if I sign up I can play a clean game. I'll make some friends, form an alliance or two, and then hope that it takes me through the game. I'm also a natural leader, which means if you put me on a team, I can help them thrive. Even then, if someone else wants to be a leader, I don't mind that as well. I'm malleable."

Jake after picking up the camera, walks along. "My dad's the preacher at our local church and we need some repairs on the building, the roof is kinda old and they've been talking about getting it fixed for the last few months. So I hope that if I sign up for the show I can win to hopefully get him the money, and maybe use some of the leftover money for college or something."

Absentmindedly, Jake begins thinking out loud. "And hey, even if I don't win, maybe I can find a boyfr- UH, GIRLFRIEND, I MEAN GIRLFRIEND!" Jake's eyes widen in terror as his face slowly flushes red. "I-uh… Y-yeah! I'm uh into… g-girls, girls are hot aren't they?"

Jake lets go of the camera, dropping it to the ground as he lets out a loud groan of annoyance. "Did I really just say that? I can't record another one of these! I have Sunday School to teach!" Jake's voice is heard slightly muffled.

A moment later, the camera is picked up. "So… you don't show these tapes to the viewing audience, right? I… if I had any secrets, which I totally don't, I'd want to tell my dad first. He's raised me since mom… passed on to the next stage."

Jake shakes his head. "Anyway, I… really have to go. Please consider putting me in your season!" Jake grabs the camera, quickly turns it off and ends the audition.

Well, here's another group of Audition Tapes! And it's a big group too! The last of the pre-merge and first of the merge eliminations. And with that, a weird group I didn't know how to figure out.

So starting this we had the… situation with Katrina. With the way she was put in the season I don't think she'd work with a traditional audition tape. So I thought it'd be interesting to change things up a bit. I was also told I might have made Don annoying with his questioning on how Chris did his job during episode 12, so I wanted to shade in a bit more character for him to hopefully make him work a bit better for people. At the same time though, this fic was originally supposed to be connected to another one of my fics that's long since not been updated and Katrina was one of the connecting points between them but I split them off so this tape helps to fully sever the last few connections they have. Hopefully this means things have changed enough.

Rory and Carol were both pretty easy to do as well. Carol already basically had a tape made, I just needed to edit a couple details, and once I thought of the sport movie cliché angle, Rory's slotted into place easily. Jake's was a little harder to think of the angle for, but eventually I figured it out.

The main issue with this chapter was that I just didn't feel like editing it lol. I liked everything I did, I just didn't want to edit them much until a couple days ago. These ending notes are going to be fresh off the press while I've done a couple look throughs for the main tapes so hopefully everything works.

Alright, that's about it. I'll see you all for the final 6 episode of the main fic! I give no promises on when it's coming out, just that I hope this doesn't take a year.
