Breakdown and the vehicons ran through the jungle after hearing the bellow of a potential Dinobot,Breakdown deployed his hammers itching and ready for a second round of whatever Dinobot it was,it was then everyone stopped as they heard splashing coming from the river, everyone looked to the water in silence as the ambient sounds of nature filled the air,then they spotted something coming down the river towards them,they shined their head lights on it only to see the glowing eyeshine of something,sticking just a little bit out of the water, "There you are."Breakdown said as one of the Vehicons fired a shot a few feet in front of it which caused it to stop. Then the most earth rumbling growl was heard as suddenly the eyes began to turn and move towards them,everyone backed away a aimed their weapons at the water and they watched as the eyes rised up out of the water showing them attached to a metallic reptilian head,which was attached to a long neck and broad body and powerful looking legs,the earth shook as the beast stepped out of water and onto land,staring at the decepticons with a cold stare growling softly.
"What are you waiting for,fire!"Breakdown shouted as the Vehicons fired at the beasts body the beast let out a primal bellow as it lifted a foot and brought it down causing a massive boom causing the ground to shake knocking everyone off their feet, then the beast swung it's massive tail hitting some of them into some trees. "Oh Scrap!"Breakdown exclaimed as the beast bit down on a vehicon's body tossing him away and stepping on another and another "Come on!"Breakdown roared as he charged at the beast "Hammer time!"Breakdown shouted as he hit the beast in the leg causing it to grunt in irritation and then it gave him a kick sending him flying 40 feet away.
"To the pits with this!"a vehicon said as he ran off into the darkness of the jungle with some of the others following the beast let out a bellow making the other Decepticons flinched and then they all ran off into the darkness leaving Breakdown alone with the beast who stared down at him growling. "Slag."Breakdown said as he began to crawl away,meanwhile the Autobots were treking through the jungle untill they stumbled on to the long necked beast about to eat Breakdown.
"There's one of them."Arcee said "and with Breakdown."Bulkhead said as he immediately ran into the fray "Bulkhead!"Optimus Prime called out in concern "Hey!"Bulkhead shouted getting the beasts attention as well as Breakdown "Bulkhead?"he asked in confusion wondering if he was there to save him "uh...i don't know who you are but you don't wanna eat Breakdown,he doesn't wash his chassis."Bulkhead said "Hey!"Breakdown exclaimed in offense.
The beast growled and started to step towards Bulkhead who began to back away allowing Breakdown to get up and run off, "ook."Bulkhead said nervously as Optimus and the others deployed their blasters and stepped out of the trees and went next to him as the Beast stepped closer and closer to them the ground rumbling with every step. "Sludge!"a familiar voice shouted the Autobots turned around and saw Paddles and Slash coming up to them,Bulkhead looked at the long necked monster "Sludge...that's Sludge?!" Sludge looked at Paddles and Slash and growled "hey big guy it's us Paddles and Slash,remember?"Slash asked stepping closer to him trying to stir something familiar out of Sludge's memory, although Paddles debriefed her on the situation she wanted to try to reason with her teammates.
Sludge bellowed and lifted a foot and tried to step on her but she backflipped out of the way just in time "hold on Sludge I'll get you back."Paddles said as he charged at him but Sludge swung his massive head and neck knocking Paddles away then he swung his tail at the others causing them to scramble " come on Sludge."Slash said transforming into Velociraptor mode and with lightning speed she charged and jumped on Sludge's back causing the massive Dinobot to thrash around trying to get her off him he knocked down trees and kicked around dust and rocks. "Ugh anyone got a plan?!"Slash shouted as Sludge continued trashing about looking like a prehistoric bronco Optimus Prime looked at some trees and wondered if they were enough to knock out Sludge, there was only one way to find out "Bulkhead Bumblebee help me with this."Optimus prime said as he deployed his blade and cut down a tree and caught it with Bumblebee and Bulkhead helping him hold it "Arcee get Sludge's attention towards you."Optimus said as Arcee nodded as she watched Slash fell off his back.
Arcee fired a couple blasts near Sludge's head causing him to glare at her "come on I'm right here!"Arcee said as she noticed Paddles coming out of the shadows behind Sludge with a big rock, Sludge lowered his head towards Arcee then the three Autobots charged with the tree in hands and then smashed it against the side of his head making him jerk his head to the side and Paddles smashed the rock over his head making Sludge wobble a little bit before he collapsed unconscious with a mighty thud.
The group was relieved that another Dinobot was neutralized they gathered around him "Ok so...how are we going to lug him back to base?"Arcee asked noting Sludge's giant size.
Meanwhile
Breakdown continued to run the jungle catching up to the other vehicons "that went well."Breakdown said sarcastically "Sir may i suggest a retreat?"a vehicon suggested wanting to go home "and let the Autobots get the rest of Grimlock's team,We'll never hear the end of it from Starscream,we can take these Dino dopes, we just need a plan."Breakdown said with determination.
Back with the Auto-Dinobot group
After lugging Sludge's big unconscious Dino frame through a groundbridge and back to base,the group returned to Africa to continue the Dino Hunt, "Ok who's next?"Bulkhead asked curiously no one had a clue,should they continue going at random or down a list? They then proceeded to head further into the jungle and kept optics peeled for any other Dinobots or Decepticons,40 minutes went by and the team heard what sounded like a squawk they looked up to the night sky and there approxamatly 80 feet up was the form of a Pteranodon, which Paddles and Slash recognized "Swoop!"Slash exclaimed as Paddles began to wonder how they were going to get him down then Swoop flew off into the night everyone groaned as they watched Swoop disappear.
"We'll get him later let's keep moving."Optimus Prime said as the team continued roaming the jungles p, Arcee and Slash walked side by side even though that were on a mission Arcee couldn't help but strike up a conversation "It's going to be nice having another girl on the team."Arcee said making Slash laugh "oh yeah...hey where's Cliffjumper wasn't he your partner?"Slash asked curiously Arcee lowered her head as the memory began to trample her. "He's...no longer with us."she said with sadness in her voice making Slash clench her fist a little she lost many friends to the Decepticons in the war and it all way hurted her in the spark, she was tired of seeing friends die to monsters like them, "curse the Decepticons, so what happened to the Ark and where are the others?"Slash asked turning to Optimus "We'll discuss that later Slash."Optimus said, Bulkhead wanted to clarify something Paddles told them,not that he didn't believe them "Slash is it true did you guys fight Predacons here on Earth?"Bulkhead asked "Yeah it's true we fought Predacons here,we even teamed up with one named Doublecross and his friend Mainframe."
That name rang a little bell in Optimus, he had heard of Mainframe and when the war was going on he wondered what happened to him, "they are no longer with us too."Slash said with sadness which the Autobots returned after a few moments of silence then they regained the focus on the mission in finding the others.
Meanwhile
Breakdown and the Vehicons roamed through jungle until they heard a sound up ahead,they slowly moved forward until the came to a clearing of grass and there in the middle of the clearing was a large mechanical Dino beast with red glowing plates on it's back Breakdown and the Vehicons remained into the tree line watching the beast roam around making low growling sounds, Breakdown stared at the beast with a sinister smile.
