Chris walked towards the cabins with a megaphone with him and Naruto right by his side. Today was challenge day and he was excited to unleash it onto the campers.

"You know the campers are going to hate you for this." Naruto side-eyed the host, knowing full well what Chris was going to do with the megaphone and that the campers were not going to react well to it.

"Yeah, but who cares." Chris said with a chuckle, having no consideration for how the campers felt.

Naruto sighed helplessly with a shake of his head as Chris blew an airhorn into the megaphone and rudely woke everyone up from their sleep.

"Are you kidding me?! It like five in the morning!"

Naruto listened to roaring voice of Lashawna as she woke up from her peaceful sleep, he could tell from the sound earlier that she hit her head on the bunkbed.

"Do I look like a farmer to you!" Lashawna said as she appeared out of the window in her purple night gown.

"All campers, report to the main square of the camp in 15 minutes! So, move it." Chris shouted through the megaphone, annoying the campers even more.

All the campers soon arrived at the main square between the cabins, all of them looked tired and had little to no energy except for a few.

Cody walked next to Eva and was looking curiously at the mp3 player that Eva had on and lowered his hand to touch it until Eva angrily snapped at him with a bite.

"Morning campers, hope you slept well." Chris playfully teased the campers as he arrived at the Square.

"Hi Chris, you look really buff in those shorts." Heather complimented the host, trying to win over Chris and get some special treatment.

She was getting really jealous of all the special treatment that Lindsay was getting from the counselor, and she wanted to get some for herself.

"I know." Chris said as he looked down at his khaki shorts and sandals before looking at his watch.

"Okay, I hope you all are ready for your challenges because it begins in…one minute." Chris said causing Owen to look at him.

"Whoa excuse me, Chris. But I don't know if that enough time to eat breakfast." Owen said as he rubbed his stomach, thinking about food again.

"Ooohhh, you'll get to eat breakfast…" Chris paused as he looked at Owen who was absolutely beaming with happiness.

"Right after you complete your 20-km run around the island." Chris yelled as the campers' eyes widened.

"What?!" The campers yelled out, especially the angry Eva

"Oh, you think you're funny huh? I'll show what funny." Eva said angrily as she narrowed her eyes and stomped towards Chris before someone stopped her.

"EVA!"

Eva stopped in her tracks and withered down once Naruto glowing blue eyes stared back at her.

"Get back with the rest and calm down." Naruto said as he narrowed his eyes at her, Eva stomped her foot before going back to the group with a growl.

"Man, I love having you around." Chris looked at the blonde counselor, happy to have such a strong bodyguard around him for protection.

"Alright campers. on your marks, get set! Go!" Chris yelled out as he fired his pistol up in the air. Many of the campers started running while a few just jogged or walked.

After an hour and a half of running, the campers were still circling around the camp. Most of them were still running while a few had slowed down and just jogged.

"Do you know how much longer we have to run?" Harold asked Gwen, he looked out of breath and was about to fall any minute now.

"I don't know." Gwen said before she started to speed up, she was not in the mood to talk with anyone right now.

Harold fell face first on the ground before heather walked right past him. The queen bee rolled her eyes upon the battered form of the nerd.

"On your right." Noah said as he passed through heather, inadvertently bumping into her.

"Do you mind." Heather said as she glared at the bookworm.

(confession)

"I am not running." Heather complained as she crossed her arms

"I would literally die while running in these and beside I'm not wasting my energy on a stupid challenge like this." Heather said as she lifted her foot and showed off her high heel wedges.

(confession: end)

Heather walked over to a small ravine and saw Owen drink from the lake.

"can't…catch…breath…must be…condition…" Owen took deep breaths as he took sips on the lake beneath him.

"It's called overeating. Look it up." Heather muttered to the oaf before Lashawna ran before her and leaned onto a tree, she looked exhausted from the run.

"Oh, and what's your excuse…you skinny…annoying…oh baby, I'm too tired to insult you." Lashawna said as she tried to catch her breath.

"Pick it up people! If you're not back by lunchtime, you don't eat." Chris shouted into his megaphone as he passed through them on his moped.

"Oh, I hate him so much." Heather growled at the host before she picked up her paste and started jogging.

After a few hours, the campers started making it back to the main lodge. Most of them were out of breath and looked tired, only dawn and Eva looked better but not that much.

Owen soon arrived at the lodge with Noah on his shoulder, looking like he passed out from the run.

"Clear the way! We're losing him." Owen shouted as he tried to perform CPR on his best friend before Naruto stopped him.

"Woah Owen, Noah is fine. He just needs to rest." Naruto said just before Noah woke up, breathing heavily.

Lashawna soon arrived after them and fell to her knees and she tried to catch her breath, Harold came after her as he literally clawed his way to the lodge.

"What took you so long? It been 3 hours since we got here." Courtney said angrily, staring dagger at the exhausted nerd.

She was about to rant to Harold about costing them the race until someone walked up behind her.

"Courtney, lay off the man or else." Naruto said as he narrowed his eyes at the girl, Courtney just huffed her cheeks and sat down on the bench.

"Wait…a minute, Harold was the last person to arrive. Which means our team wins." Heather said as her team celebrated with her before Chris interrupted.

"Whoa whoa whoa. Hold your horse. Who said that was the challenge?" Chris stopped the bass cheering and left all the campers in utter confusion.

"Say what?" Lashawna said in utter confusion.

"Yeah, that wasn't exactly the challenge. Just a part of it." Naruto said as he helped Lindsay catch her breath.

"Yes, this a multi-stage challenge. This was the first part; you all were supposed to be doing an extreme sport event, but Naruto stopped it because it was too 'unsafe'" Chris said with air quotes before he crossed his arms with a huff.

"Besides all that, who hungry?" Chris said as he lifted off a cover on one of the tables, effectively stopping campers from asking questions and just stood in shock as rows filled with delicious food appeared before them.

(confession)

"After four whole days of eating chefs' brown sludge, I almost cried once I saw that buffet." Gwen admitted, having almost forgotten what real food looked like.

"And then I saw it, the buffet. It was beautiful!" Owen shouted with open arms, happy to be eating real food again.

"There was turkey and Nanaimo bars and baked beans and maple syrup! Ha…can I please have a moment." Owen said as a tear formed in his eye.

"Something is going on here, it seemed that challenges up till now have been leading to something but what?" Dawn asked as she tapped her chin.

"I'm probably not the only curious but what exactly was the extreme spot challenge Chris planed." Tyler asked the camera; the sports challenge had piqued his interest, and he wanted to learn about it.

"The campers were supposed to do a spinning log challenge against teddy after the running." Chef said with a smirk.

"Best part of this was that they would fall into the cold lake filled with electric eels." Chef laughed as he remembered the plan that Chris had.

"But the brat just had to stop our fun." The cook said with huff, pissed that he wouldn't be able to see that hilarious scene.

"I couldn't really let the guys do that. We had already deprived them of a good sleep, forcing them to do extreme spots would technically be considered torture." Naruto said with a frown on his face.

"Though I do feel bad for teddy, he really wanted to show off his gymnastics skills." Naruto rubbed his head as he remembered how he broke the 'bad' news to teddy.

Teddy was in the outhouse with a lone tear dropping from his eyes.

He had a photo in his hand that showed him in a circus doing gymnastics.

He rubbed the photo as he remembered the good old days.

(confession: end)

"Uuuuuggghh…" every camper groaned as they rubbed their bellies, they had ravaged that buffet beyond recognition.

The only people not in a similar state were Lindsay, dawn, and Bridgette.

Dawn and Bridgette ate little compared to the other campers as they were vegans, and the buffet had little to no vegetarian dishes.

Lindsay didn't have much excitement towards the buffet, she already ate amazing food with Naruto every day and didn't see the appeal of the buffet.

"So…do you think this apart of Chris plan?" Bridgette asked the other two girls.

"It is." Dawn said as the two blondes turned to her.

"His aura is like an open book; he wanted us to be all in on this challenge." Dawn eyes moved towards the smirking host.

"Right, almost forget about your aura ability." Bridgette said with realization in her eyes.

Chris looked at the campers and nodded at their state, he jumped up onto the now empty table with his megaphone.

"Ok, campers! It is now time for your challenge." Chris shouting had caused many of the campers to look at him with confusion while Dawn just smirked, having called it.

"What? I though we already finished the challenge." Owen said with a messy face.

"Nope, they were all just a set up for the real challenge." Chris said with a mischievous smile.

"What more do you want from us." Gwen groaned as she moved up from the floor, she was not ready to do anything right now.

"The weird goth girl is right." Heather groaned as she glared at the host. "What more could you want from us."

"Um…let me think about it…NO!" The campers winced at the volume from Chris megaphone.

"It's time for the awake-A-thon!" Chris yelled with open hands.

"The what-a-thon?" Owen said as he tossed away a can of beans mixed with syrup into a pile behind him.

"Don't worry, this is an easy one." Chris said as he jumped off the table.

"He's not wrong." Naruto imputed his opinion as he walked next to Chris.

"The challenge is very tame and doesn't involve any dangerous, but it is a very mentally tiring one." Naruto was not wrong as the awake-a-thon was one of the tamer challenges that Chris made.

"Naruto is right, all you have to do is stay awake as long as possible and your team wins invincibility!" Chris shouted into his megaphone just for added effects.

"So, you mean to tell us. You made us run until our legs died out and allowed to eat that buffet just so I would be harder to stay awake." Gwen said after piecing things together.

"Correctomundo." Chris cheerfully admitted.

"Damn…he's good." The campers nodded to Gwen statement.

"Alright, campers! To the campfire pit now." The campers groaned but moved towards the campfire nonetheless.

"So, how long do you think till everyone falls asleep?" Trent asked Gwen.

"To be honest, an hour at best." Gwen had little faith that anyone could stay awake that long.

"No, it's either between 12 hours to three days." Dawn casually said as she walked past them.

"Yeah right, no one could last that long." Gwen shook her head at the girl, Dawn didn't have much of a reaction towards it.

Half the day had already passed, and all the 21 campers were already feeling the effects of the challenge.

"We are now 12 hours in." Chris said in a soft tone, pointing the cameras towards the exhausted campers while a timer was above their heads showing a 12-hour mark.

"With all 21 campers still awake." Chris was mighty impressed that the campers were still awake after this long.

"Woohoo! Staying awake for 12 hours! I can do that in my sleep! Woohoo!" Owen cheered as he fist-pumped the air…only to fall asleep a second later, eliminating himself in the process.

"The Awake-A-thon was probably the most brutal thing I've done in my life." Gwen said with an exhausted tone.

Naruto let out a small chuckle as he looked at the blonde giant before he went over to him.

He picked up Owen by the shoulder and took him back to the cabin to get a good night's rest.

"Alright, campers. Can I have your attention." The contestant began to rally around the host as he spoke.

"During the challenge, me and Naruto were talking about the awake-a-thon, and it came to Naruto attention that the challenge was boring." The campers looked back at the blonde counselor with suspicious glares.

"And he was right, watching a bunch of teenagers fall asleep is super boring so… we decided to make mini challenges along the way." The campers' eyes widened before they stared daggers at Naruto.

The counselor could only rub his head as he looked away from the campers while whistling.

"So, for every 12 hours, a mini challenge will occur to make it harder for you to stay awake. which is now." Chris said as he directed their attention to chef, who was carrying a box with him.

"Oh chef, can you tell me what challenge the campers must do." The cook nodded and rummaged his hand through the box before pulling a piece of paper out.

"Alright, maggots. Drop and give me 100 push-ups! Don't stop until everyone does it!" Chef yelled as the campers begrudgingly started to lay down and do some push-ups.

It took a while for everyone to carry out the task since most were tired and had little energy to even do the simplest movement.

Eva was the fastest to achieve the goal and got up from the ground before chef walked up to her and stared her down.

"What are you doing, maggot. Get back to work!" Eva covered her eyes as chef blew the whistle into her ears.

"But I already did my 100?" Eva's eyebrows rose as she stared at the cook, other campers like Dawn and Duncan also stared at the cook after finishing their set.

"Yes, but you don't stop working until everyone finishes!" The campers' jaws unclenched as they looked at the cook.

"What, that so unfair!" Courtney roared as she glared at chef along with everyone else.

"Life ain't fair so deal with it, maggot!" Chef didn't even listen to their complaints as he walked away from them.

The campers who already got up went back down and started to do push-ups once again.

"Ugh…this is all that blonde idiot's fault." Courtney said as she stared at the blonde counselor intensely.

"Why do you say that?" Bridgette asked the C.I.T.

"This all started because he thought our challenge was boring." Courtney explained with a growl.

"You can't blame him for it. Watching teenagers fall asleep is boring." Lashawna said begrudgingly, she understands where the man was coming from but that didn't make it better.

"Why are you defending him, didn't he literally embarrass you and heather in the last challenge?" The C.I.T narrowed her eyes to the sister.

"Yeah, but I'm mature enough to understand that he was right in doing so." Lashawna knew that what she did in the first challenge was unbecoming of her and did not try to excuse it.

"Unlike some people, I'm not a brat and can grow from my mistakes." Lashawna said as she turned to the queen bee.

"Oh shut it, Lashawna. Courtney is right at being mad at that blonde counselor." Heather said with a little buff in her voice.

"I mean just look at him giving special treatment to Lindsay." The three girls grew their eyes in the direction of heathers and saw Naruto motivating Lindsay.

"I'm pretty sure he just wants her for her body and everything just an act." The girls could practically hear the venom in heather's voice.

"I have to disagree with you there, heather. I mean just look at him." The three girls turned to Bridgette with raised eyebrows before they turned their attention towards Naruto.

"Naruto is not that type of person, he genuinely cares about Lindsay and is doing out of his heart." Bridgette said with a smile.

Both heather and Courtney didn't say anything cause Bridgette was right, just once glance at the man could tell you that he a good person but their pride would not allow them to admit that they were wrong.

They both just grunted at the Surfer girl and went back to their push-ups, both Lashawna and Bridgette rolled their eyes at the uptight girls.

Soon, all but three campers were finished with their set and now cheering on the last contestants. Those being Harold, Cody, and Noah.

"Come on Cody, you can do it buddy. Just two more push-ups dude." Geoff cheered the little dude on with the rest of the bass.

"I can't, my arms are so dead…the ground looks…so comfy to sleep on." Cody said before falling down to the ground and falling asleep.

Both Noah and Harold were not far behind Cody as they fell to the ground, their bodies could no longer hold on and they fell apart.

"A triple knockout! What a remarkable sight." Chris cheered as he looked at the fallen bodies of the three campers.

Naruto walked over to the three and placed all three on his shoulder to carry them back to the cabin.

"Campers, you now have 12 hours of free time. Make sure you use it well." Chris chuckled at the disgruntled campers.

The contestant soon sat down; they wanted to conserve as much energy as possible for the next mini challenge.

Dawn sat down next to a tree and entered a meditation state, she closed her eyes and was about to relax her body until she heard someone sat down next to her.

He turned to her to see Lindsay sitting down next to her.

"Hello there dawn." Lindsay greeted her with a wave of her hand.

"Hi, Lindsay. Is there something you need?" Dawn asked the blonde girl; wonder why she had come over to greet her.

"Uhm, I just wanted to talk to you." Dawn could see that Lindsay was nervous from how she was fidgeting with her fingers.

"Oh, why is that?" Dawn asked with a tilted head.

"Cause I want to be friend with you." Dawn eyes dilated as she listened to Lindsay words.

"You…want to be friends…with me. Why?" Dawn asked with a slight shock in her voice.

"Well, naru recommend me to you because he said he had a feeling." Dawn turned her attention away from Lindsay and looked over to see Naruto staring at them from far away.

It made sense now, why a girl like Lindsay would want to talk to someone completely opposite to her.

"So, do you want to be friends?" Dawn turned her attention back to Lindsay; she thought about and nodded to Lindsay question.

Lindsay eyes brightened up after Dawn answered, she was so excited that she surprised Dawn with a hug.

Dawn's face was now squashed between two melons, she didn't have much of a reaction and just let it happen.

"Oh, I'm so happy right now!" Lindsay said as she squeezed Dawn even more, not even letting her the nature girl one bit.

"Lindsay, while I do like the hug. Can I please be let go." Dawn said through Lindsay breast.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I was just super excited to have another friend on this island." Lindsay said nervously, worried that her actions might cost her a friend.

"Don't worry, I too am exiting to have a friend." Dawn said as she dusted herself, Lindsay raised an eyebrow cause Dawn didn't show any changes at all.

"Really cause you don't seem to show it?" Lindsay said as she tapped her chin, she had seen a change on Dawn face since she got here.

"Well, I have been trained at an early age to control my emotions perfectly." Dawn said with a hint of pride in her tone.

"But why though?" Lindsay didn't see any reason for someone to do that, but she wasn't going to judge Dawn for that.

"In order to become a sage." Confusion manifested onto Lindsay face as she looked at Dawn.

"But aren't sages those really old dudes that live in Nature, why would you want to be like those guys." Dawn sighed at the misunderstanding of what a sage is.

"That not what a sage is, Lindsay. They are people who are able to unite with nature and draw in its energy." Dawn said with admiration.

It had always been a small goal of hers to reach the legendary status sage and combine herself with nature.

"Wow, that sounds amazing. What does it feel like?" Lindsay asked curiously.

"I don't really know since I have never able to achieve that legendary state myself." Dawn sighed as she spoke.

She was depressed that after all her hard work, she hadn't even been able to make much progress in her journey.

"Hey, it alright. You'll get there someday; I'll just take some time." Lindsay placed her hand on Dawn shoulder as she comforted the girl.

"Thank you for the encouragement, Lindsay." A small curl formed on her lips as she grabbed hold of Lindsay hand.

"You're welcome." Lindsay said happily before her eyes widen as she felt Dawn hand.

"Oh wow, your skin feels so soft and smooth." Lindsay said as she rubbed Dawn hand.

"What kind of products do you use." Lindsay asked curiously, wanting to see if she could use the same products as well.

"I don't really use corporate products." Lindsay eyes widen in horror as she looked at Dawn.

"Why not! They are amazing for the skin!" Lindsay clutched onto her face and looked at Dawn with dilated pupils.

"Because all those products are filled with dangerous chemical that companies continue to use to worsen the skin." Lindsay grew confused as she heard Dawn speak.

"They are? But why would they do that?" Lindsay asked nervously, feeling as if her entire world view was being shattered.

"Money, of course. If they actually tried to fix the problems, then they would lose costumer over time." Dawn narrowed her eyes as she mentioned this, hating how corporate greed had damaged the people.

"But my skin always feels amazing and looks amazing every time I use it." Lindsay said as she rubbed her skin, looking towards Dawn for answers.

"That how corporate makes money, they provide a temporary solution to problems." Dawn said with a little venom in her tone.

"Then, what do you use to make your skin so clear and smooth." Lindsay said as she touched Dawn face.

"I use natural products like honey for skincare." Dawn said as she allows Lindsay to continue to rub her face.

"Really, I though honey was for eating?" Lindsay tilted her head in confusion, her cognitive of honey for eating and nothing else.

"Honey can be used for many things; eating is just one of them." Dawn explained to the girl.

"Wow, that nice. I really wish we had some honey right now." Lindsay hugged her knees as he grumbled about not having honey.

"If you want honey, we could always just ask teddy for it." Dawn said before Lindsay moved towards her and held her hands excitedly.

"Do you really think teddy has honey?" Stars sparkled in Lindsay eyes as she looked at Dawn.

"Teddy is a bear, so he must have honey. Come on, let get some from him." Dawn got up from her spot and Lindsay followed with her.

They were about to head to teddy cave until Naruto stopped them.

"So, I can't let you guys leave." Both Girls grew confused as to why Naruto was blocking their path.

"Why? We just wanted to some honey." Lindsay asked the man to which Dawn nodded with her.

"Cause both of you are tired and it would be dangerous if one of you falls asleep in the forest." Naruto crossed his hands as he looked down on them.

"Oh, that's not true. Both me and Dawn are…" Lindsay tried to say before she let out a large yawn.

"Just my point, now get back to your spot." Naruto pointed back to the spot where they came from.

"But I really want to use honey for skincare." Lindsay whined to Naruto.

Naruto raised his eyebrows before dawn walked over and explained to him why they wanted honey.

"If that your reason, I can let you use my homemade skincare." Naruto suggested since that was best for both parties.

"Wait you made a homemade skincare and didn't tell me?!" Lindsay looked appalled by what Naruto said.

"I only started making it yesterday." Naruto held up his hands in surrender, not want to face the Lindsay wrath.

He maybe a super powerful warrior but that doesn't mean his fear of the female rage had weaken even little bit.

"You only get away with this one time okay. You better include me next time or else." Lindsay said while trying to grab Naruto ear but failed.

Naruto saw this and leaned down to her level and allowed her to grab his ear, Lindsay smiled at his display and tugged his ear only a little bit.

"What are the ingredients for the skincare?" Dawn asked the most important question in her mind.

"It made from a dozen different medical herbs." Dawn smiled a little at his response.

"Okay, now. Will you stay here while I go get it." The two girls looked at each other before nodding to Naruto.

Naruto sighed in relief and gestured for the girl to head back before he headed towards his home.

Naruto walked back to the campfire with a bottle of his beauty formula but just as he was about to reach his destination.

He saw Eva walking towards the bathroom, she had unknowingly dropped her MP3 player while walking.

Naruto raised his eyebrow as he saw heather rush towards it with a mischievous glint in her eye, Naruto shook his head with a sight.

He already figured out that the girl was up to no good, so he walked over to her just as she was about to pick it up.

"Hand it over, heather." Naruto said as heather flinched upon his arrival.

He turned around and hid the MP3 player behind her back.

"What are you talking about. I have nothing on me." Heather said with a forced smile that couldn't fool anyone.

"Just give me the MP3 player." Naruto stretched out his hand towards Heather.

Heather faces wrinkled as she reluctantly handed over the MP3 player to Naruto.

Naruto inspected the MP3 player to make sure that there was no damage due to it.

"Next time you do something like that, try to be more secretive." Heather stopped in her truck and looked back at the counselor with gritted teeth.

"Yes, I will." Heather said as she glared at the blonde man with the fury of a thousand suns before walking away.

Naruto just shook his head at the girl before he went over to hand the bottle to Lindsay and dawn.

They were talking about their favorite animals, Lindsay favorite focused more on farm animals while Dawn was primarily forest animals.

"Hi, naru! You're back already." Lindsay waves at the blonde counselor as he handed over the bottle to Lindsay.

"So, is this the formula." Lindsay said as he scanned the crystal-blue liquid she squeezed out from the bottle.

"So how long do we use it for?" Lindsay asked as she began to apply it on her face.

"Just for a few minutes." Lindsay nodded before she applied the formula onto her face.

"How effective is this and is it harmful?" Dawn asked the blonde counselor.

"Very effective and no it not dangerous at all." Naruto gave a thump up to reassure that the thing was not harmful.

"Are guys doing a skincare routine?" The trio turned their heads around and saw Lashawna walking over to them.

"Oh, hey Lana. How are you." Lindsay waved at the sister with a smile.

"I'm doing good, just a little bit tired…" Lashawna let out a yawn as she said before she continued. "You still haven't answered my question though."

"Yes, we are. Do you wish to join us." Dawn said as she handed over the bottle to Lashawna.

"…why not, my skin has been feeling a little bit dry." Lashawna shrugged her shoulders before taking the bottle.

"Wow, this feels nice." Lashawna said with surprise, the cream felt amazing on her skin.

"I know right. It feels so refreshing and comfortable." Lindsay said as she rubbed her face, Dawn nodded along with her.

"So which company made this? Cuz I might need to buy some of these later." Lashawna asked the girls.

"Naruto made it." Dawn said as she applied the cream on her face, which shocked the Lashawna.

"You made this?" Lashawna asked as she turned over to look at Naruto.

"Yep." A glint of pride flashed through Naruto eye as he said that.

"Is there no end to your secrets?" Lashawna said playfully.

"That is for you all to find out." Naruto smiled before he turned around to see Eva coming back from the bathroom.

"Alright, I have to leave now. Call me when you want to wash off the cream." The three girls nodded before they laid down on the grass.

Naruto ran over to Eva, who was surprised to see the blonde counselor running towards her.

"Hey Naruto, you need something?" Naruto shook his head to Eva question before he held his hand out.

Eva raised any eyebrow at him before she stared at Naruto palm and was surprised to see her MP3 in his palm.

"My MP3 player!" Eva said as she grabbed it before she checked every crepe of it for damages.

She sighed a breath of relief when she saw that there was no scratch on it.

"Wait why do you have my MP3 player?" Eva asked suspiciously.

"You dropped it during your walk to the bathroom and I picked it up." Naruto said before Eva surprised him with a hug.

"Thank you so much." Eva said with a grateful smile on her face.

"It no problem." Naruto said as he hugged her back.

"You sure do care a lot about the MP3." Naruto said as Eva moved away from him.

"It was the gift that my father gave me when I reach my goal of benching 300kg." Eva smiled as she rubbed the MP3 player gently.

"I wouldn't know what I would do without it." Eva said as she gripped onto the device.

"Hey, that's the same for me. I wouldn't know what I would do if I lost this…" Naruto said as he pulled out his neckless.

"Wow, that a beautiful neckless you have." Bridgette said as she admired the green crystal gem.

"Thanks, it was given to me by my godmother." Naruto twirled around the gem as he looked at it.

This thing was very precious to him, it was one of only left that he had brought with him from his world.

He takes exceptionally good care of it and always keeps it close to him so he couldn't lose it anytime soon.

"Well, your godmother had great taste in jewelry." Bridgette said with a smile.

"That she did." Naruto said softly as he gently placed the necklace back into his chest.

"Wait, Eva. Did you say you lifted 300kg?" Bridgette asked in shock, that was a massive achievement for anyone.

"Yeah, I did 2 years ago." Eva responded with pride in her chest, this was one of her proudest achievements to date.

"Wow, that Amazing." Bridgette said as she clapped her hands, admiring the powerful strength Eva had.

"Oh, it really nothing." Eva said she rubbed her head with a blush, trying to play it off.

"Wow Eva, what a modest person you are." Naruto said as he rubbed Eva head with an eye roll.

"Hey, stop that!" Eva said as she smacked away Naruto hand.

"Why do Always rub people head?" Eva asked as she tried to fix her hair.

"Yeah, why do you do that?" Bridgette asked as well since the man had been doing that to everyone since they meet him.

"Same reason why people like to rub cat, because you guys are cute and adorable." Naruto said with a small chuckle.

"Hey, I am not cute. I'm fierce." Eva said as she tried to defend her pride, she was powerful women and not a cute lady.

"Not from up here you aren't." Naruto raised his nose and looked down on them with a smug face.

"Oh, making fun of our heights now?" A tick formed in Brigette head as she playfully kicked Naruto leg.

"What you'd say, I can't hear you from up here." Naruto said as she placed a hand around his ear, mocking them even further.

"Oh, that just foul play there." Eva said with a mischievous smile before Naruto picked up her.

"Oh, would you repeat that to my face?" Naruto asked as he pulled Eva out to his face, smug and mischievous glint in his eyes.

"…am I even doing anything for you?" Eva asked with a pout, upset that she was being treated looks a child.

"Not even a little bit." Naruto said with a smile before a mischievous idea came into his mind.

Eva didn't even have time to react before she was thrown up into the air by Naruto, being treated like a literal baby.

"Hey, stop that…" Naruto chucked at he ignored Eva request before he heard someone call his name.

He places Eva down on the ground before he turns to see Lindsay calling for him.

"Sorry girls, I have to do something." Naruto said apologetics he moved away.

"It fine, take care Naruto." Bridget said as Eva nodded along with her.

Naruto nodded back to them before he walked toward the mess-hall to grab a bowl of water for the girls.

Soon, the day passed, but the challenge continued. Bit by bit, the campers started to fall asleep.

The gophers were in a terrible mood in right as they were in a losing position, they not only lost Bridgette, Izzy, and Tyler, but they also had to do a handstand for an hour.

The reason was because Justin was caught cheating. he tried to paint eyelids on his eyes and stay in the contests, but Naruto was able to catch right in the act.

The bass also lost some members like Lashawn, Geoff, Katie, and Sadie but they were still in the lead.

Now the contest favored the bass with 5 to 4 but they look and felt like shit. Now know how long they can last before they drop dead.

"Congratulations, campers you made it to the 24-hour mark!" Chris laughed as he looked over the sleep-deprived campers.

"Now round two of the mini challenge. Chef, will you do the honors." The cook nodded and pulled another note from the box.

"The history of paint with classical music." The campers groaned as an intern brought forth a giant book.

"Also, for this round, no headphones. So, hand them over Eva." Chris said as he turned his head to Eva.

Eva growled at the cook who tried to take her MP3, but her efforts were useless since she was far too tired to compete against chef.

The bodybuilder slumped to the ground with a frustrated groan.

"Paint was used in some of the earliest known human artwork…" Chris began his tale as the sounds of classical music played behind him.

(confession)

"Why paint, could it have been anything else…" Duncan let out a tired growl.

"Could it have been an interesting history like war or something." Duncan said with crossed arms..

"The competition got even worse." Gwen said as she slumped her face onto her hands.

"I kind of liked the story." Dawn said to the camera, her opinion differed greatly from the rest of the contestants.

(confession: end)

Lindsay yawned as her stress of the challenge as soon gotten to her, she didn't know how much she could hold on.

Her body was already beyond tired, and her mind couldn't even process the things going around her.

Her eyes were growing weak and becoming blurry, she could not hold on more and fell towards the ground.

She had expected herself to feel the cold and hard ground beneath but was surprised to find that her face landed on something warm and soft.

She could feel herself being picked up from the ground and placed within the gentle care of a strong arm.

Lindsay opened her eyes a little bit and saw Naruto face right Infront of her. She smiled happily, knowing that she was safe.

She finally let go of her worries and rested in the arms of the person she trusted the most on the island.

She moved her ears towards his chest and allowed her to immerse in the strong beat of his heart.

It was strong and rhythmic; it resembles that of an energetic lullaby. Lindsay smiled as she fell asleep in Naruto arms.

Naruto smiled softly as he gently carried the girl back to the cabin. He opened the door quietly so as not to wake the other bass in the cabin.

His movements were slow and steady, not allowing himself to make even the slightest noise.

He arrived at Lindsay bed and chuckled at the small stuffed animals placed around her bed. It was kind of adorable that Lindsay still had them at this age, but he wasn't going to judge.

He also had a stuff animal of a toad and fox sleeping within his bed, reminding him of his friends.

He moved his hand and lowered it to place Lindsay down on the bed but was surprised to find that Lindsay was not letting go of him.

She was gripping onto him like she was holding onto her dear life. He used his free hand to try to get Lindsay off him, but she only started to hold on even harder.

Her expression became grave as time went on but her grip on him grew even stronger, Naruto wasn't sure on how to handle this situation.

Sure, he could just force her off him but that would wake her from her sleep.

He didn't want to do that to the poor girl, waking someone up after they spent 24 hours awake was not a very pleasant experience for anyone.

Naruto expression became disorienting as he tried to gently remove the girl without waking her until Lindsay opened her mouth.

"Please…don't leave me…I need you..." Naruto stopped his movement and turned his attention towards the sleeping girl.

'A nightmare…' Naruto thought as he looked down at the painful expression.

Naruto moved his Lindsay back towards his chest and gently moved Lindsay strained hair away from her face.

Lindsay's face returned to the peaceful expression she had when she fell asleep.

Naruto sighed as he rubbed his forehead, it seems he has to carry the girl around now until she wakes up.

Naruto walked out of cabin and quietly closed the door behind; he headed back to the campfire with troubled expression.

He didn't know how he was going to explain this to Chris or even the campers.

His mentally exhausted expression stayed with him as he walked back to the campfire before it turned to that of disbelief and shock.

The reason was that the campers were all doing a variety of things that made no sense at all or just seemed crazy.

DJ was duck-tapped around a tree. he didn't know if DJ was forced to do that, or he did it voluntarily.

Courtney looked like she was preparing to take part in a marathon the way she was running around the campsite.

Trent had a stick with him as he tried to play like a guitar, he wondered if the challenge had finally got to him or he was using that as a distraction.

Dawn was far from the rest of the campers; she was meditating on a tree branch. She was staying as still as possible and balancing herself on that tree branch.

Eva was doing some poses and flexed her muscles all around the campfire. It wasn't even looking like she was doing that consciously but doing it out of instinct.

He didn't even know what was going with heather as she looked nothing like she used to, looking more like a crazy girl then a queen bee.

Her hair was all messed up with strands of hair flying everywhere, she was biting onto one of these strands while looking deep into the void.

The weirdest one was Gwen, she sat at a wooden stool and was reciting some poetry. The thing that made it creepy was the blank eyes and unreasonable speed that she was reciting it.

The most 'normal' out of them was Duncan, the man was just lying there on ground. He wasn't even moving an inch of his body; he looked like a corpse.

"The fuck happened here. I was gone for like 20 minutes?" Naruto whole face twitched as he looked upon the scene before him.

This look straight out of a horror movie or something from a mental hospital.

"Oh, there just trying to stay awake." Naruto turned his head to see chef coming his way.

"…explain?" Naruto raised his eyebrow as he side-eyed the chef.

"DJ ties himself up to the tree so he could keep himself awake, Courtney is running around to keep her body awake, dawn is trying preserve her energy by using that weird-hippie stuff, Trent is using that stick to distract himself, and Eva is just bored and wanted something to do." Chef said as he named off the reason for their weird behavior.

"What about those three?" Naruto pointed to the three weird campers.

"Heather likes to touch her hair to keep herself calm and focused, but thing went out of hand after the first 5 minutes." Chef said as heather continued to mess around with her hair.

"Gwen likes to recite poetry as a way to keep her mind focused on one singular objective. the more nervous she is, the faster she recites the poem."

"As for Duncan, this is a skill he developed in juvie. To stay immobilized and preserve his energy without sleeping." Chef said as he finished off listing the camper's reason for acting weird.

"…And you know this how?" Naruto asks with a raised eyebrow.

"I found in their profile." Chef said as he pulled out a stack of paper

The paper held personal info on every camper, comprised of different documents and information from personal friends and family.

"Oh, I almost forgot we had those." Naruto said as he slammed his plan onto his forehead.

The profiles were something the campers 'allowed' us to do in their contracts, gathering information on them to use in later challenges.

"Naruto, my man…why is Lindsay still in your hand?" Chris waved at the blonde counselor before he saw Lindsay in his arms.

"I know your still a teenager and all but control your hormones dude." Naruto sputtered in his speech as both Chris and chef laughed at him.

"It isn't like that." Naruto tried to defend himself while not being too loud so as to not wake up Lindsay.

"It just…Lindsay just won't let go of me." Naruto sighed as his two friends raised an eyebrow at him.

"Oh, don't look at me like that. You know I'm not that kind of person." The two adults looked at each other before walking over and patted Naruto on the back.

"We know dude, we were just playing around." Chris chuckled as he comforted the blonde.

"I know." Naruto said with a frustrated chuckle before he turned his attention towards the campers.

"So, should we stay and watch?" Naruto pointed to the campers to which the adult shook their heads.

"Nah, that looks creepy. I don't want to spend the next 12 hours looking at that." Chef said as he pointed to the weird image behind him.

"Chef is right. Let go watch a movie in the outdoors." Chris offered his plan to his friend.

"That's fine with me." Chef shrugged his shoulder while agreeing with Chris plan.

"Shouldn't we be worried about their safety though." Naruto asked with a slight worry in his tone.

"They'll be fine, we cameras everyone to monitor them anyways." Naruto shrugged his shoulders as he followed the two while carrying Lindsay.

"No Beatrice, don't go into that door!" Lindsay shouted to the screen before her.

Naruto simply shook his head as he watched Lindsay try to speak to the characters in the movie.

They were the only two people watching movies as both chef and Chris left after watching 2 movies and went to do their own thing.

He also stopped watching the movies and went into meditation mode to relax himself and pass the time.

It was only about 2 hours ago that Lindsay woke up from her sleep and forced him to watch a movie with her.

He couldn't really say no to her request and just followed along with her.

They were currently watching a horror movie but to be honest, the movie wasn't even all that scary.

These horror films just seemed static and unoriginal to him. It might be because he had faced actual fear in the front line and his fear tolerance became extremely high.

The only reason he stayed was because of Lindsay and the cute commentary she made along the way.

Naruto turned his head around as he heard footsteps coming his way.

"Hey Chris, you need anything." Naruto greeted the host as he walked towards him.

"We have back to the camp, we hit the 36-hour mark." Chris said begrudgingly.

The challenge was starting to get tiring for him, there was no action anywhere and it was taking way too long to finish.

"WOW, it already been 36 hours." Naruto said impressively before he turned his attentions.

"Alright Lindsay, I think that enough for you." Naruto said as he turned off the movie.

"What, already? But it was getting to the good part." Lindsay whined as he playfully kicked Naruto in leg.

"We can do this another time Lindsay, but you have to go back to the cabin." Naruto said as he tried to reason with girl.

"Fine, but you better keep your promise." Lindsay said as she pointed her finger at Naruto with a slight glare.

"Don't worry, I promise." Lindsay smiled at his response before she went back to the cabin.

"Man, she has you wrapped around her little finger." Naruto grumbled as Chris made fun of his relationship with Lindsay.

"I don't want to hear you talking about relationships, ' '" Naruto said with air quotes at the past part.

"Hey, the ladies love me!" Chris felt offended by Naruto words and started to defend himself.

"Sure, they do." Naruto playfully said with an eyeroll.

"Don't you roll your eyes at me!" Chris screamed as he narrowed his eyes at Naruto.

The two started to bicker as they walked towards the campfire, both trying to one up one another.

The two finally made to the campfire after they bickered for an hour.

Naruto winced at the horrible state the campers were in. They all had extremely black circles under their dull eyes, their bodies moved motionless against the wind.

They looked more like zombies than actual people. However, his shock soon turned to confusion as there were only 6 campers left.

"What happened to DJ and Trent?" Naruto questioned where the two campers were.

"Both could handle the stress and fell asleep." Chef answered as he brought the box with him

"Forget about those two and let get this challenge over with." Chris said as he grabbed a piece of paper from the box.

He looked at the paper and soon a shit-eating grin formed on his face, it seems he really like the challenge written on the paper.

"Oh, I love this one." The host said as he looked not only at the campers but also at Naruto and chef.

Everyone felt a chill run down their spin as they watched the host scanned them with his mischievous eyes.

"Everyone has to wear a pink dress and dance for the eliminated campers." The camper's eye widened as they heard the host speak.

"I am not wearing pink!" Duncan roared his displeasure, there was no way he going to wear pink on live television.

"I agree with Duncan! I'm not wearing that." Eva voiced alongside the punk; this was one of the few things she would not do for the challenge.

"There is no way you're going to make me wearing pink!" Gwen said with crossed arms, pink just looked awful on her and ruined her whole vibe about her.

The three campers were not on board with the challenge while the other three were fine with it.

Heather had taken ballet dancer classes before, so she was used to performing on stage while dancing in a pink dress.

The other two were just okay with it since it didn't really go against their code or anything.

"Okay, campers. I know that you're mad and if it makes you feel any better…" a glint of evil flashed through Chris eye as he turned over to Naruto and chef.

"Both chef and Naruto must dance with you!" The two named staff stared at Chris in disbelief as he pointed at them.

Chef ran towards the host and picked him up by the collar. "The hell do you mean I have to join them?!"

"Just how it sounds, you have to wear a pink dress and dance with them." Chris said before chef violently shook him.

"I did not sign up for this." Naruto narrowed his eyes on Chris with a frown.

"You guys actually did sign up for this." A slight chuckle got out of Chris mouth before chef brought him face to face.

"What do you mean by that?" Irritation was written all over chef face as he stared dagger at Chris.

"It stated in the contract that you have to be in the challenge if your presence is required." Chef moved away from Chris and looked towards Naruto.

"I checked and he's right." Naruto frowned as he stared at the digital copy of the contract on his phone.

"Hey, look the dress are here." Everyone soon turned their attention towards the entrance as multiple interns brought pink dresses that fit the sizes of everyone at the campsite.

Chris used this their distraction and got out of the campfire before anyone could catch him.

He was just an inch away from the entrance before someone picked him up from his spot.

The host sheepishly turned his head towards the angry Face of the counselor.

"Hey Naruto, my man, my best bud. You need anything." Chris tried to lighten up the mood but that did nothing as Naruto still glared at him.

"You and I need to talk." Naruto said before he took the host away from everyone else.

The campers and cook paid no attention to the host and focused more on the pink dress in front of them.

"What happens if we don't wear this?" Gwen asked the intern beside her; he looked at the clipboard before looking back at Gwen.

"Automatic elimination from the challenge." Gwen groaned alongside Duncan and Eva before they took their dress and went to the bathroom.

"What happens if I don't do it?" Chef asked with a large frown on his face.

"A deduction of 7,000 from your paycheck." The intern soon recoiled back as they heard the cook grit his teeth.

Chef looked ready to start attacking somebody before he took a deep breath and just walked towards the bathroom.

The intern sighed a breath of relief as the derision of the incoming danger.

"What do you think happened to Chris?" One of the interns asked his fellow co-worker but they just shrugged their shoulders.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH"

The intern jumped up in surprise as they heard the scream of their boss.

"Does that answer your question." The man just nodded before a noise was heard from their radio.

The intern grabbed his radio phone and brought it up to his ear.

"Hello." The intern greeted the person on the radio.

"Hey guys, I'm going to need something from you." The interns looked surprised as that was Naruto voice.

They looked at each other before they stared back at the radio. "What do you need?"

"Man, are they actually going to do it." Bridgette asked as she and the rest of the campers sat down on the wooden stools.

"They better be, I'm trying to see heather embarrass herself on national tv." Lashawn gloated over the misfortune of the queen bee.

"Will they even be able to dance while their tires?" Cody asked worriedly, they looked pretty tired from the challenge and were in condition to do something like this.

"I don't think so, they will fail at it or just crash into one another." Noah responded back to Cody question.

"Exactly what I'm here for." Lashawna chuckled evilly as she thought of heather failing.

"Oh, I wished we could do it." Katie said as she held hands with Sadie, wishing to show her dancing skill with her best friend.

"Me too, I always wanted to do a ballerina dance." Sadie responded to Katie.

"Ooh, I can wait to see Naru dance in pink." Lindsay said excitedly, wanting to see what her best friend would look like in pink.

"Yeah, me too. I can't wait to see foxy in that tight pink uniform." Izzy said while hitting her bottom lip.

All conversation stopped as everyone turned at their heads at the crazy girl with gaping mouths.

"What? I'm just saying what on my mind." Izzy chuckled mischievously while twirling her hair.

"…okay, Izzy aside. I'm just here for the entertainment." Tyler said, wanting to diverge their conversation from Izzy weird comment.

"Yeah, me too." Harold said with an evil glint pass through his eyes.

"Seeing Duncan fail will be a treasured moment in my memory." Harold placed his hand on his chest while saying this.

"Why, has he done anything bad to you?" Bridgette asked the nerd.

"Yeah, ever since I got here. I keep losing my stuff and I think it Duncan fault." Harold clenched his fist as he thought of the 'prank' Duncan pulled.

"That wasn't Duncan fault, you just misplaced your stuff dude." Trent said as he came into the defense of Duncan.

"Wait really, then what about the time he threw rocks at me when I was exploring the forest." Harold asked the guys.

"Oh, that was teddy. He was practicing his throwing skills." Lindsay smiled at the memory of her helping teddy practice his skills.

At the end of their training, they had a little competition to see who could throw better. Too bad, Harold was in the direction of their throw and passed out.

"So, this wasn't Duncan fault." Harold stood up and showed the back of his shirt, it revealed a graffiti that had the word loser on it.

"Oh no, that one's definitely Duncan." Cody said while looking at the graffiti, this was Duncan calling card.

"Dammit Duncan!" Harold punched his hand into his palm as he gritted his teeth, the other campers just rolled their eyes at the nerd.

"Oh, hey naru. Is the show about to start?" The campers turned their eyes to the entrance as Lindsay greeted their counselor.

"Hey, why aren't you in the pink dress?" Izzy was disappointed to see that Naruto was in the dress.

"Well, there been a change of plans after I talked to Chris." Naruto said as a flash of mischief flashed in the blue eyes of his.

"So, wait. are we not going to have a ballerina show?" Lindsay clutched her face as she asked worriedly to the whiskered man.

"No, the show is still going on." Naruto reassured the girl, causing her to breathe a sigh of relief.

"Then what the change of plans?" Bridget asked as she walked over to the giant man.

"You'll find out soon enough, just have a seat." The campers looked among themselves before they sat down.

Naruto walked Infront of the campers and started to announce the show.

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for waiting." Naruto did a little bow for the pizzazz.

"May I introduce you to the sparkling princess!" The campers almost laughed while they heard the embarrassing names.

Soon though, laughter erupted everywhere as the dancers arrived onto the field.

All of them looked terrible, looking like zombies in a princess cartoon but the ones that looked the most ridiculous were chef and Duncan.

Who would have thought that the two masculine men would one day wear a pink dress, their fierce looks contrasted vastly to the sparking dress they had.

"Oh, it looks like we're missing someone?" Naruto chuckled evilly as he said this, everyone looked among themselves to see who was missing.

"Come on out, can't keep everyone waiting?" Everyone turned their attention to the entrance as someone walked out of it.

Everyone from Cody to chef started laughing like there was no tomorrow, the last member of the dance group was no one other than their host, Chris.

The most hilarious part was not the dress but his hair. Long gone was the neat and greasy black hair, now replaced with spiky pink hair.

"Let get this over with!" Chris grumbled as he walked over to the group of dancers.

Naruto nodded to the intern who started playing the music.

Their dance was not particularly bad at the beginning but as time went on, their flaws showed increasingly.

Their tired and untrained bodies made mistakes everywhere, Duncan made the most mistakes out of everybody.

He looked he was doing a mix of ballerina and hip-hop if one was being honest.

It finally reached its breaking point once Duncan misplaced his foot and landed on Eva. and like domino, it affected everyone in the group until all were piled up.

Everyone laughed at their failure while they tried to get back up.

"How long do we have to do this?" Gwen asked since her body was already aching as it was, and she had no idea of much longer she could hold on.

"About an hour." Naruto said as he checked his watch, the dancers groaned as they looked at him.

"Hey, don't blame me. this was Chris idea." The dancer turned their glares at the pink haired member.

"Get back to the dance." The ballet dancers sighed before they started to do their act again.

"Uuggghhh…I hate this challenge." Gwen muttered weakly into the ground.

The other dancer agreed with her with groans.

"Well, that was sure entertaining." Lashawna chuckled as she remembered all the time they dancer failed at their choreography.

"I agree with you, m'lady." Harold nodded along with the sister.

"Not the most visually appealing dance show but an okay one." Bridgette clapped at the nice dance they had.

"It was an…interesting show." Noah said with a slight shiver, still slightly creeped out by how terrible the guys looked in the dress.

"That…was terrible." Naruto shook his head with a smile as he looked down at the dancers.

"But man am I glad I record all of that." Naruto chuckled as he pulled out a camera, wanting to keep a personal video of that hilarious dance.

"I hate you so much." Chris shakily raised his finger at Naruto.

"Hey, you're the one that started it." Naruto shrugged his shoulders at Chris words.

"Anyways, let get back to the challenge at hand." Naruto said he handed his camera to the intern for safety.

"It down to our last four contestants!" Naruto shouted at the camera with raised arms.

"Can you not count? There six of us!" Heather angrily said to the counselor.

"Nope, both Eva and Courtney fell asleep." Naruto pointed down to the sleeping gophers, both of them fell asleep during the dance.

"It now a one vs three in the bass favor." The gophers wailed at their unfavorable situation while the bass cheered.

"Hey, I'm the host not you." Chris said while trying to stand up from the ground.

"You can have it back if you want." Naruto patted the host shoulder before he swooped down to pick Eva and Courtney.

Chris side-eyed the whiskered man while clutching onto his body, he was still suffering from the multiple falls on his body.

"The situation had turned dire for the gophers…there down to their last member…" Chris stopped then and there to smooth his aching muscles.

"Can Gwen pull off a miracle or will the bass overcome the gophers…and win the challenge…let find out!" Chris shouted to the camera.

44 hours have passed since the awake-a-thon started, and now it is down to the last four members.

Each of them has stayed up for extended periods of time, either for an event or just for the fun of it.

They all have experience in this area of expertise, but the Awake-a-thon was far different from their usual late night up.

At the very least, they had people and external devices like coffee or energy to keep them awake.

The awake-a-thon was different, they were left alone in a campfire with people they barely even knew.

They were Forced to stay in a singular place for a prolonged period of time.

It became so bad their perception of time has gone astray, no longer being able to differentiate minutes from hours and even seconds from minutes.

Both their mind and body could no longer process normally and are now in a state of animation.

"Hmmm…" Heather let out a yawn as her eyelids started to collapse on her.

Her body started to move around until it finally dropped on the ground, falling face first onto the floor.

"Heather out! Now down to the last three campers." Chris said as he and Naruto walked towards the campfire.

"Naruto." The blonde counselor turned his attention to Dawn as she called out to him.

"You need something." The nature girl nodded to the blonde question.

"I going to fall asleep soon and I want to do it while lay on your arms." Dawn said as she stared at the blonde.

This abrupt statement caught the blonde by surprise. "Why though?"

"…because Lindsay got to do it." Dawn lowered her head as she stated her reason.

Naruto raised his eyebrow at the girl before a playful smirk formed upon his face. "Dawn, are you jealous?"

The nature girl didn't respond immediately and just simply nodded to his question while keeping her head down.

Naruto chuckled a little before he lifted the girl up and laid right on his arms.

Dawn soon let go of her worried and allowed herself to immerse in the warmth that was Naruto aura.

"Dawns out." Naruto said as he gently smooths Dawn hair before he walked towards the cabins.

"Wow, what a surprise?" The host said with a Cheshire smile, finally some suspense in the challenge.

"It now down to the last member of each group." The camera turned around to show the sleep-deprived goth girl and punk.

The host stared at the last campers before an idea hit his head.

"Naruto, can you get the box." Chris turned around and asked the returning counselor.

The whiskered man raised an eyebrow at the man request. "Why? It hasn't even been 12 hours yet."

"Just go get it man." Chris said as he tried to shoo Naruto away.

"Fine." Naruto eye-rolled the host, he grabbed Heather and walked towards the cabin. He came back a few minutes later with the box with him.

"Alright, you two. Time for the final mini challenge." Both the campers turned their heads towards the host.

"Has it already been 12 hours." Gwen asked with some suspicion.

"No, I just feel like we should end the challenge with a bang." The host said with a sly smile as the camper's frown grew deeper.

He launched his hand into the box and pulled out a piece of paper.

"Who ready for a good old shoot off?" Chris thrusted his hands into the air as the intern brought forth two plastic guns.

"Why is it so heavy." Duncan asked as both him and Gwen struggled to lift the gun.

"That's the average weight?" Chris said with a slightly raised eyebrow.

"The bullets hold a special perfume that cause people to fall asleep faster." Chris held the small ball in his finger.

"Now, get into position!" The host said as both campers leaned against each other.

Soon, they moved on in straight line while clenching onto the gun in their hand.

"Fire!" At the drop of the hat, they both turned and fired as fast as they could.

The balls soon impacted onto their chest and released the sleep perfume right Infront of their faces.

"These smells nice." Gwen sniffed the perfume before she fell onto the ground.

"Congratulations towards Duncan for the amazing victory!" The host raised Duncan hand up to the air with a cheer.

Duncan stood just for a few seconds before he too fell straight into the ground.

Everyone gopher was nervously sitting at their wooden stool as they stared at the host.

Everyone looked mostly reenergized and awake except for Gwen; she looked absolutely awful.

"Screaming gophers, welcome to your first elimination ceremony. You have all casted your votes and made you decision." Chris grinned as he saw the anxious looks on the campers.

"Let recap on the rules, these marshmallows are your lives. There are 10 marshmallows, if you don't get them that means you're out. He or she must walk to the dock of same, ride the boat of loser, and leave total drama island. You cannot return to the island…ever!" Chris said as the campers looked intensely at marshmallows.

"The first marshmallow goes to…Gwen!" Chris threw the treat at the goth's forehead before it landed safely onto her hands, waking her up in the process.

"W-w-what…" Gwen stutter in confusion before she stared down at the marshmallow in her hands.

"Yay…" Gwen cheered before she took the treat and went back to her cabin for some good old sleep.

"Eva, Courtney, Trent…" Chris threw the marshmallows at the people he named off, all three of them cheered while they ate the treat.

"Izzy, Bridgette, Tyler…" the remaining four grew nervous as the number dwindled down.

"Noah, Harold…" the two felt relieved as they were handed their marshmallows.

Both Owen and Justin tensed up while they looked at the remaining marshmallow on the tray. Only one of them would stay on this island and have a chance at winning the challenge.

"Campers, the final marshmallow falls down to the last two contestants…Owen and Justin." Those two gulped while they watched as the host grabbed the last marshmallow.

"Owen, you were the first one to be eliminated and didn't contribute anything to the team…" Owen sheepishly rubbed his head as Chris listed his mistakes.

"Justin, you got caught cheating and caused your teammates to do a handstand for one hour…" Justin nervously smiled while looking away from the cast.

"The final marshmallow goes to…" Chris stopped for a moment for the dramatic flair.

"Owen!" The big oaf cheered as he grabbed the marshmallow.

"Sorry, Justin. I guess beauty cannot beat everything." The model sighed before he took his luggage and walked toward the dock of shame.

"To the rest of you, enjoy your marshmallows because you're safe for now." Chris said with a smirk before he left the campfire.

"Lindsay you can't use those two." Naruto said while grabbing the two medical herds away from Lindsay.

"Why not, they look so good together." Lindsay complained with a huff of her cheeks.

"Those two house two conflicting elements to them, they will react violently if they were mixed together." Dawn said while grinding some leaves.

The three of them were trying to make some homemade hair conditioner, it was all Lindsay idea.

She thought it would be a fantastic way for her friends to bond together but things weren't going as planned.

Naruto had to stop every once-a-while to stop Lindsay from creating a disaster. She kept trying to mix dangerous herbs together just because they looked pretty.

Naruto sighed as he walked back to his station, he glanced at his incomplete work before looking toward Dawn who was almost done with hers.

"You sure do have some knowledge about this type of stuff." Naruto said as he examined the product before him.

It was a good conditioner that could help weaken hair loss, not too bad for a first timer.

"Thank you. I took AP biology class, and I read up on plants in my free time." Dawn said while wrapping cute sticker on to her product.

"You sure are a smart kid, Dawn." Naruto said as he rubbed Dawn head.

The nature girl gladly accepted the man praise before Naruto turned his head around to see Lindsay trying to mix herb again.

"Stop, Lindsay!" Naruto rushed over to Lindsay side to make sure nothing goes wrong.

A small curl formed on Dawn lips as she watched the interaction between Naruto and Lindsay.

It was nice to have friends around.
