First of all, I would like to say that I am Brazilian, but since most of the stories on this site are in English, I will try to do my best to write in that language as well. If you notice any grammatical errors, please forgive me, I'm doing the best I can. Hope you like it.
WARNING: This chapter contains mention of physical abuse of a child/teenager. If you are uncomfortable with this topic, please do not read!
There were two bitches in this world that Tory Nichols hated with all her heart: Kandace Nichols and Kim Da-Eun.
A year ago, there were three if you count Samantha LaRusso. However, it's different now. Tory doesn't hate Sam LaRusso anymore. Even though she's back in Cobra Kai, she knows that her hatred for Sam is behind her. Tory is certain that if she ever faces Samantha in the tournament, she won't fight to intentionally hurt her. Tory will fight to win, of course, but she intends to do it fairly and without cheating. Their relationship has come a long way since Sam and Tory apologized to each other at the sleepover. Hell, Sam even texted her a few days ago asking if she could help Tory in any way. Of course, with everything that's happened, Tory didn't even respond. However, Sam seemed to care about Tory. Which is impressive, considering everything they've been through. Whatever. The point is, just because the girls are on opposing sides doesn't mean they have to go back to their old rivalry. That's in the past. At Sekai Takai, they'll certainly have even bigger concerns.
Speaking of Sekai Takai, she knew how important it was to win this tournament. She had to win. For Tory, this wasn't just any tournament. This was life or death. Winning would mean keeping Brandon safe. That was all that mattered to her now. It was only because of that that Tory had already spent five days in Korea dealing with the Queen of Bitches.
Kim Da-Eun.
When Kreese told her they were going to Korea to train with her, Tory got pissed.
"Are you kidding me?" - That's what she said to her Sensei when he told her his plans.
"Nichols..." - Sensei Kreese sighed, before trying to convince her to accept the idea.
And the truth is that Tory just pretended that everything was fine. What the hell choice did she have, anyway? To participate in Sekai Takai, they needed six fighters, with a boy and a girl as captains. Kreese and her alone wouldn't be able to do that. They needed a dojo with competent fighters to complete the team and the bitch's students were good. Really good.
Yoon Do-Jin reminded her a little of Miguel. Straitlaced. He looked like a damn robot. Kim asked and he did, but that didn't change the fact that he was an excellent fighter. Despite all these qualities, he wasn't the male captain, because there was an even better fighter than him in that dojo.
Kwon Jae-Sung.
He was an idiot, but Tory had to admit that he was a funny idiot.
"Since when does an American Cheerleader know how to fight karate?" - He scoffed when Kreese introduced her as the female captain of the dojo.
"Do you want to find out?" - Tory challenged him, more than ready to fight.
He just gave an arrogant smile in response and this was the perfect opportunity for Tory to start attacking him. Kwon defended her blows while staring at her, seeming slightly surprised by the strength and speed of Tory's punches.
"I have to admit." - Kwon looked at her with a satisfied smile on his face. - "You're good." - He praised her, before feeling a front kick hitting him square in the mouth.
"I know." - Tory replied with the same arrogance he had shown when he looked at the blood coming out of his lip.
When he put his hands on his own lip and realized that Tory had drawn blood from him, Kwon just gave an amused smile on his face and made a small gesture with his hands in her direction.
"Welcome, captain." - He said, looking directly at her as he wiped the trace of blood that was still on his lip with his fingertips.
Tory even felt like laughing at his stupid attitude, but she chose to stay serious and just roll her eyes at him. She wasn't stupid. Of course Kwon found her interesting. She could tell by the way he looked at her. Whatever. That wasn't important. Tory wasn't interested. Not in him or anyone else.
Okay, that wasn't entirely true.
There was someone who would always make Tory's heart beat faster.
Flashback - 5 months ago:
It had been a little over a week since Robby and Tory had gotten back together and tonight was one of those nights when Tory was off. When that happened, Robby would always come over to her little apartment in Reseda and spend the night with her. Sometimes they would just watch a movie with Brandon and other times Robby would just help Tory's little brother with his homework. That night, Robby was helping Brandon with his multiplication tables and as she finished making dinner, Tory couldn't help but smile as she looked at them.
"So, buddy, how many is 3x7?" - Robby asked and Brandon was thoughtful, doing the math with his little fingers.
''I think it's 21." - The 8-year-old boy spoke, after a few seconds of silence.
''That's it, guy.'' - Robby smiled, touching his hand. - ''You're very smart.'' - He praised and Brandon smiled showing his little teeth.
''Like his sister.'' - Tory stated, approaching the boys and kissing the top of Brandon's head.
''Your sister is conceited, huh?'' - Robby joked, getting up from the chair and Brandon laughed.
''It's just the truth.'' - Tory stuck her tongue out at him and Robby pulled her by the waist, giving her a soft kiss on the lips.
''Do you really have to keep doing this disgusting thing in front of me?" - Brandon groaned, covering his eyes with his hands so he wouldn't have to see his sister kissing her boyfriend.
''What's wrong?" - Tory laughed when she saw her little brother's reaction.
''Seriously, Tory.'' - Brandon looked at her, pouting cutely. - ''I know I said I missed Robby, but...'' - Brandon was going to say that this didn't mean she had to keep kissing Robby in front of him all the time, but the voice of his sister's boyfriend interrupted him.
''So you're saying you missed me?'' - Robby asked, smiling widely.
''Yeah.'' - Brandon agreed, not ashamed to admit it at all.
''I was too, buddy.'' - Robby confessed, getting closer to Brandon and ruffling his hair.
"Can I tell you something?" - Brandon asked and Robby nodded. - "I don't want you to leave again." - He confessed and Robby looked at him, listening attentively to what the little boy had to say. - "When you left last time, my sister was very sad and I don't like to see her sad." - Brandon added and Robby looked at Tory, not knowing what to say.
"Brandon!" - Tory scolded, but deep down she wanted to smile at her brother's protective attitude.
"It's okay, Tor." - Robby assured her, calling her by the nickname that only he called her. - "Because I'm not leaving again." - He stated, placing both hands on Brandon's shoulder.
"Do you promise?" - Brandon asked, innocently showing his little finger like any child would do to seal a promise.
"I promise." - Robby extended his little finger to Brandon and they sealed the promise, before the little boy threw himself into his arms in a tight hug.
Tory swallowed hard when she saw the scene. Brandon never had a father. His dad left them as soon as he found out that his mother was pregnant with his brother. She also never had many boyfriends. The ones she did have, she never let get close to her mother and brother. Miguel even knew about her mother's situation and the existence of her brother, but he never spent the night here with her. They were always quick visits. The only one she let in and get close enough to meet them was Robby Keane. She never knew why she trusted him so much. But when she shared one of her greatest desires at the dance, he didn't laugh or make fun of her. He understood. Like no one else could understand.
After that day, she invited him into her apartment and the care Robby showed Brandon and her mother on the very first day only gave her the certainty that she could trust him with her family. So, it may seem strange, but Brandon kind of sees Robby as a father figure. A father figure who is only 17 years old and yet there is nothing Tory can complain about. Robby is great with Brandon. Really. That's why her little brother missed him so much.
"Tory..." - Robby called her, interrupting her thoughts.
"Where's Brandon?" - She asked, coming out of her reverie and letting out a sigh.
"He went to take a shower to get ready for dinner." - Robby answered and Tory nodded.
"Okay." - She nodded in agreement. - "I'll take dinner to mom then." - Tory continued, heading towards her small American kitchen.
"Let me take it." - Robby offered, following Tory to the kitchen.
"You don't have to." - She answered quickly and Robby gently pulled Tory's face, making her look at him.
''Tor, what's wrong, babe?'' - Robby asked, sensing that something was bothering his girlfriend.
''It's just...'' - Tory closed her eyes and snorted, not really wanting to talk about it.
''Is it because of what I promised Brandon?'' - Robby guessed and Tory looked away. - ''Tor...'' - He sighed, pulling his girlfriend's face again. - ''I know I was an idiot and left you alone at Cobra Kai, but I promise I'll never leave you alone again.'' - Robby promised, looking into her eyes. - ''You'll only get rid of me now, if you want to.'' - He added jokingly and trying to lighten the mood.
''Only if I want to?'' - She laughed, biting her lower lip. - ''What if I want to now?'' - Tory joked, letting out a laugh.
''Now? Now?'' - Robby joined her game, making an offended face. - ''Can't it be later?'' - Her boyfriend made an idiotic pout and Tory could never resist when he looked at her like that.
Never.
"I guess it can be later." - She agreed with a smile, before pulling Robby into a kiss.
End of Flashback.
Damn, Tory hated how just thinking about Robby made her heart ache. That boy made her weak at the knees. He made her feel things she had never felt before for anyone.
"Your feelings have made you weak."
That's what that bitch Kim told her when she made her break that damn stone doll. That day, she felt so angry and when she thought about it, she still feels so angry. But maybe, and just maybe, that statement wasn't so absurd. Robby will fight for Miyagi Do. Tory will fight for Cobra Kai. They are on opposite sides now. Tory needs to win for Brandon. Her little brother is her main priority right now. She can't let her feelings for Robby get in the way of her victory. Tory can't let Robby be her weakness in the tournament. She knows he is.
That's why she was determined to ignore him. Tory knew she couldn't face Robby. Her plan was to ignore him and only after she was in Korea, she would send him a message saying that she had to move to another city and that their relationship was great while it lasted. She knew she would be an idiot for ending their relationship over text, but what could she do, after all? Tory couldn't be with him now. Robby would never understand the fact that she had returned to Cobra Kai again. Besides, she knew she couldn't tell anyone about this. Sensei Kreese was still a fugitive and she couldn't risk him being arrested again. Tory couldn't put her position as Cobra Kai captain at risk. She needed this to have a chance to be a world champion and gain custody of Brandon. And if she needed to break Robby's heart to do that, Tory would do it, even if her heart would break into a thousand pieces doing so.
Flashback - 1 week ago:
Robby tried every way to talk to Tory after she left the Miyagi Do dojo, but she ignored him. For three days. He didn't want to push her too hard. Robby knew better than anyone how Tory worked, but he had also made a promise. He wasn't going to leave her alone. Not at a time like this. So, he decided that he would wait for her outside until she left the apartament. And when she finally left the apartament, Tory would have to talk to him.
And he did. Robby waited and waited and waited. He waited for six hours outside the apartment, but the girl he wanted to see so badly never came out. Robby sighed, completely frustrated, when he saw one of Tory's neighbors coming out of the apartment next door.
"Hey." - Robby called, approaching the woman who looked a little ragged. - "I'm sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you know where Tory Nichols is?" - He asked and the woman looked him up and down, looking a bit suspicious.
"Why do you want to know so much, huh?" - She questioned and Robby raised his hands up in surrender.
"I'm her boyfriend." - He answered, looking at her. - "I'm just worried." - Robby explained himself and still the woman kept her suspicious look.
"If you're her boyfriend like you say, you should know that the girl's mother died and that she left this apartment yesterday." - The woman told him and... Wait. What?
"What do you mean Tory left this apartment yesterday? And where did she leave her little brother?" - Robby asked, getting really worried.
Where did Tory and Brandon go?
"Don't ask me hard questions, kid." - She answered rudely and Robby nodded, letting out a sigh.
He even turned to leave, but decided to ask one last question before leaving the place:
"Can you at least tell me where she went?" - Robby tried, even though he knew the woman wasn't in the least bit willing to answer his questions.
"You're her boyfriend, ask her yourself." - The woman answered again rudely and Robby just decided to give up on asking her anything.
This woman wasn't going to say anything.
But what was he going to do now? Tory wasn't answering his messages and now she just decided to disappear? Why? How was he going to be able to talk to her like that? He had promised he wouldn't leave her alone. Robby promised. He didn't want to fail her. Not again.
With that, Robby walked back to his father's apartment, thinking about what to do. He needed to find a way. It was Tory. Robby never said the words, but deep down he had known it for a while. He knew it when his heart raced when he saw her smiling at him or when his hands got sweaty when he was near her or even how distressed he became when Tory didn't give him any news. But he only knew for sure when he was losing the captain's fight and he saw her entering the dojo.
"Let's make a deal. No matter what, we stick together, and we win the Sekai Takai. Just you and me."
Seeing his girlfriend and thinking about the words he had said to her the day before made him draw strength he didn't know he had. Tory was his strength. His balance.
And Robby Keene loved her for it.
End of Flashback.
Tory and Kreese ended up taking two days to get to Korea, because they had to go there by ship. Sensei Kreese was a special agent in Vietnam. He had some connections and that's why he was able to transit through those two countries without being caught. But to avoid suspicion, the best way was by sea. When they got there, the first thing Tory did was to tell Mrs. Parton that she had arrived, after all, she had agreed to take care of her little brother so that Tory could go to the world championship. Luckily, this custody battle usually lasted months, so if Tory could win the Sekai Takai and make money from it, she could keep Brandon safe.
The second thing she did and also one of the hardest things she did was send the damn message to Robby. She didn't want to do it. But leaving things without a final point when they eventually met face to face at the Sekai Takai would only make everything worse. Whatever. Robby didn't even go after her. Sure, he'd sent her a hundred messages that she'd chosen to ignore, but that didn't matter now. She couldn't be with him if she wanted to win the Sekai Takai. The boy she liked so much belonged to an opposing dojo now, and she couldn't let him be her distraction. She couldn't let him be her weakness. So Tory gathered all the courage she had to type the most idiotic message of her life:
''Robby, with everything that's happened, I had to move to another city. It was great the time we spent together, but I think it's best for each of us to go our separate ways now. Good luck at the Sekai Takai.''
When she hit send, all she wanted to do was cry. But she had to be strong. For Brandon.
With that done, Tory blocked his contact so that Robby couldn't send her a reply. In fact, she blocked everyone who had her number in the Valley: Amanda, Devon, Sam, Hawk, Kenny, Miguel... She wasn't going to talk to anyone. The only person she was going to talk to was her little brother Brandon to see if he was okay. Everything else didn't matter right now. She needed to focus on her training in Korea. That was all that mattered right now.
And she did. During those five days in Korea, Tory focused completely on her training. She knew it wouldn't be easy. Training in Korea was actually much more intense than in the United States. On the third day of training, she carried a sandbag on her back to the top of a mountain and when she got there, she trained until after dark with the other students. But she wasn't going to complain. Tory had come here to Korea for this and with Kwon, Yoon and her on the same team, they had a real chance of winning. And if Cobra Kai won, she would win and she could keep Brandon safe. Simple as that.
As for Sensei Kim, she was the same bitch as always and even though they had spoken as little as possible since Tory arrived in Korea, she knew that Kim Da-Eun really didn't like her. Not that this feeling wasn't mutual. Tory also hated her as hell. Despite this, out of respect for Sensei Kreese, Sensei Kim was actually trying to be more friendly. Trying, obviously, because sooner or later this unresolved tension between them was bound to explode.
And it ended up exploding much faster than she expected.
The next day, before training, Tory took the opportunity to call Brandon. She wanted to know how her little brother was doing and she knew he missed her. Not only her, but their mom as well. If she could, she wouldn't stay away from him for so long, but she knew it was necessary. It's not like she had any other option. It was just her and Brandon now. It was her responsibility to keep him safe.
"Come back soon, Tory." - That's what her little brother said, after their call had already lasted five minutes.
"I'll be back as soon as I can, B." - Tory promised, letting out a sigh. - "Now I have to go train." - She warned, ready to say goodbye.
"Call me again when you can." - Brandon asked and she nodded. - "I love you, big sister." - The little boy said and Tory's heart ached when she heard those words.
''I love you too.'' - She held back tears as she said this, before ending the call.
Tory looked at her phone screen and took a moment to compose herself. She couldn't cry now. She couldn't. So, she just put the phone back in her bag and took a deep breath. There was nothing Tory could do now. She just had to keep going. Thinking about this, she turned around to get ready for the start of training and that's when she got a surprise: Kim Da-Eun was there. The bitch was staring at her with her arms crossed as if Tory was doing something wrong. Fuck her. Tory was just going to ignore her presence and that was it.
''Don't tell me you're talking to the enemy again?'' - Sensei Kim accused her and at the same moment, she knew she wouldn't be able to ignore her and stay quiet.
"Is that what you think?" - Tory replied, still with her back to her.
"That's exactly what I think, Nichols." - Sensei Kim replied, without missing a beat. - "You've shown weakness because of that boy before and..." - Whatever the bitch was going to say, Tory interrupted her.
"Screw you!" - Tory shouted, standing in front of her. - "I was just talking to my little brother." - She explained, irritated.
Kim Da-Eun didn't answer anything right away. Instead, she preferred to analyze Tory's face. The Sensei looked at her for a few seconds, before finally deciding that the girl wasn't lying. At least, not this time.
"It doesn't matter." - She stated, coldly. - "Go get ready for training." - Sensei Kim ordered and Tory could even obey, but unfortunately she was still too angry to do so.
"I don't take orders from you." - Tory snorted and Kim Da-Eun raised her eyebrows at her, impressed by the girl's boldness.
"Careful, Nichols." - She warned, looking at her. - "You may be Sensei Kreese's favorite student, but we're working together now and like it or not, you're going to have to listen to me too." - Kim Da-Eun reminded her and Tory scoffed. - "And I see that with that kind of attitude, you're not going anywhere." - She completed, irritating the teenager again.
"What kind of attitude?" - Tory replied and it was Kim Da-Eun's turn to scoff. - "You know what?" - The girl paused, deciding to say everything that was stuck in her throat: - "I can't stand you and I know you can't stand me either, so why the hell did you accept me as the female captain of your dojo?" - She questioned and Sensei Kim was quick to answer.
"For the same reason you're here." - She revealed and Tory knew exactly who she was talking about.
"And why do you care so much about Sensei Kreese's opinion?" - The teenager snorted, shrugging her shoulders.
''Because I owe everything to him.'' - Sensei Kim answered, bluntly. - ''It was thanks to John Kreese that I started training in the Way of the Fist.'' - She said and Tory looked at her, trying to process this information.
''What do you mean?'' - She asked, unable to hide her curiosity.
''When I was younger, I used to spy on my grandfather's classes.'' - Kim Da-Eun began, looking away as she told about it and getting lost in her old memories for a brief moment. - ''I always stayed hidden, because my grandfather didn't allow me to participate or watch his classes.'' - She continued and Tory grimaced as she imagined the woman she called a psychopathic bitch as an innocent child. - ''Until one day, he caught me.'' - Sensei Kim completed and the girl couldn't hold back the next words that came out of her mouth.
''So, what?'' - Tory looked at her with a mocking smile. - ''He made you punch a stone doll until you broke your hand?'' - She blurted out, unable to contain the irritation that was building up again. - ''Or did he beat you with that damn stick that you've also used on me several times?'' - Tory remembered, making sure to throw in Sensei Kim's face all those things that still made her almost explode with anger.
It was true that they could be representing the same team now, but Tory doubted that she would ever forget what Kim Da-Eun had done.
''I said harder.''
Tory still remembers how many times she felt that stick on her legs. Any mistake. The slightest thing was already a reason for Sensei Kim to punish her.
''Are you or aren't you the champion of this dojo?''
That's what the bitch said and Tory accepted this abuse disguised as training because she desperately needed revenge on Silver.
And then there was the stone doll. Tory literally broke her hand because of that shit.
''It will heal in time for the tournament.''
Remembering Kim Da-Eun's words and everything she went through at her hands only made Tory want to punch her in the face. Unfortunately, she couldn't. They had a common goal now and winning Sekai Takai was all that mattered.
"If you think I'm going to apologize for this, forget it." - Sensei Kim said coldly. - "Because I would do it again if I thought it would make you stronger." - She stated and Tory's fists clenched at the same time. - "But to answer your question..." - Kim Da-Eun continued, ignoring Tory's anger. - "Yes, my grandfather beat me with that stick." - She confessed and the teenager arched an eyebrow in surprise, now realizing where her methods came from.
Fuck it. Tory wasn't going to feel sorry for Sensei Kim for that, because that didn't change who she was. The bitch was still a psychopath, even if her grandfather taught her to be that way. And Tory knew who her grandfather was. Sensei Kreese told her when they were on the ship to Korea. His name was Kim Sun-Yung and he was also Sensei Kreese's master.
"He doesn't tolerate any kind of disrespect, Nichols, so you need to treat him with the utmost respect possible." - Sensei Kreese warned her and Tory knew by the look in his eyes that he really meant it.
And if even Sensei Kreese spoke of Kim Sun-Yung like that, she could already imagine how bad the bitch's grandfather was.
''And where does Sensei Kreese come into this story?'' - Tory decided to ask, after all she still didn't understand why Sensei Kim was telling her this.
''Sensei Kreese defended me and asked my grandfather to train me.'' - Kim Da-Eun revealed and the girl wasn't surprised to hear that. Sensei Kreese had also defended her before. - ''But all my grandfather did was beat him up.'' - She continued and Tory wasn't surprised to hear that either. - ''He only stopped when I kicked him.'' - Sensei Kim finished and at the same time a memory came to the teenager's mind.
7-year-old Tory kicking her father. To defend her mother, just like little Kim tried to defend John Kreese from her grandfather's clutches.
Maybe they were more alike than they thought.
''And after that, your grandfather beat you two up?'' - Tory couldn't help but ask, rolling her eyes at the thought.
'No.'' - She answered immediately. - ''After that, he decided to train me.'' - Kim Da-Eun said and Tory opened her mouth to answer, but nothing came out.
That's why Sensei Kim said she owed everything to Sensei Kreese.
And that's the only reason Tory is here.
Loyalty.
Sensei Kim was so loyal to Kreese that she trusted his choices blindly and if Kreese believed Tory could be a champion, then Kim Da-Eun would believe that too, even if she didn't like the girl that much.
Sensei and student knew that the things that happened between them could never be forgotten. Tory would always feel angry to she remembered the pain and blood on her hand when she punched the stone doll and the stick blows she often received, and knowing about Sensei Kim's past didn't change that, but at least now she could understand and maybe even respect it.
For now.
After all, all that really mattered to Tory now was winning the Sekai Takai.
"I think I have to get ready for training or I'll be late." - The teenager said, wanting to end this strange conversation once and for all.
"You're already late." - The accusatory tone that Tory already knew was back. - "And you're going to go up and down those stairs with a sandbag on your back fifty times because of that." - Kim Da-Eun ordered and this time the girl didn't dare question.
"Yes, Sensei." - She agreed, bowing her head quickly and leaving so she could get ready for training.
Kim Da-Eun watched Tory walk away and let out a long sigh. A part of her could see herself in the girl and maybe that was why she was so hard on the teenager. She would never admit it, but she knew Sensei Kreese was right:
''Only through pain does a champion reveal himself.''
And Tory Nichols had been through a lot of pain, especially now that the girl's mother was gone. If there was anyone who understood pain, it was her.
Before bringing the girl to Korea, Sensei Kreese had already told Sensei Kim everything. Everything about the difficult life the teenager had. But Kim Da-Eun would never look at her with pity, because she knew that all these bad things that had happened to Tory would serve as a experience future of learning.
All this pain would make her become the champion she was destined to be. Kreese knew this and deep down, Sensei Kim knew it too.
So, they intensified the training. For a few weeks, the students of Cobra Kai Korea trained like never before. Tory was already good, but with the training in Korea, she became even better. She and Kwon worked well together and with Tory and him as captains, no other dojo would have a chance. Kreese believed this and now Kim Da-Eun did too. They had the best fighters in the world on their team and nothing would stop them. Nothing.
Everyone would get to know their grandfather's legacy.
Everyone would get to know the Way of the Fist.
Everyone was going to meet Cobra Kai.
And the best part was that a week before Sekai Takai started, John Kreese had been acquitted. Even if he had escaped, he didn't even have to be in jail in the first place and because of that it was much easier for the American justice system to let it go. Sensei Kreese was a free man now.
That's why when Kwon Jae-Sung, Min-Seok, Chung-Hee and then John Kreese and Kim Da-Eun walked into the Sekai Takai arena and the Miyagi Do team looked at them, they knew that they were surprised. They didn't think Cobra Kai would participate. But their reaction changed from surprise to something else when they saw who the new member of the dojo was.
Miguel was angry, Samantha didn't seem to know what to feel, Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence had guilty expressions on their faces and Robby... Oh, Robby.
Of course Tory was already expecting this. She knew perfectly well that the reactions would not be good when they saw her in that black gi and she really thought she was already prepared for it, but nothing she could imagine would prepare her for the expression she saw on her ex-boyfriend's face.
Robby Keene was broken.
Tory Nichols broke him.
When I started this story, I thought it would just be a one-shot, but I kind of decided to continue this story to address some things I want to explore. This story probably won't be more than five chapters, but we'll see.
In this second chapter, I wanted to explore a little bit about how Tory feels responsible for her little brother to the point of giving up anything else to keep him safe and how this reflects on her relationship with Robby. I also wanted to address a little bit about Tory in Korea, because as we know Kim Da-Eun and her have their differences and at the end of episode 6x05 they just appear together on the same team as if Kim hadn't tortured Tory throughout S5? It doesn't make sense and it needs to be explained. Since I feel like we might not see some of these gaps in the show or only talk about them in a quick way, I decided to just write about what I think.
About the timeline in the story: I recently found out that Tory's mother died in December 2019 and that's when I made the timeline for the story. Sekai Takai, as I see it, is happening in the first months of 2020 and I just wanted to explain that.
If you can, tell me what you think. If you have any questions about the characters or the way they acted, you can ask me in the comments and I will answer them.
Thank you for the feedback on the previous chapter. The next chapter will focus on Sekai Takai and don't worry, I will include the scene with Keenry at the bar too! Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
