First of all, I would like to say that I am Brazilian, but since most of the stories on this site are in English, I will try to do my best to write in that language as well. If you notice any grammatical errors, please forgive me, I'm doing the best I can. Hope you like it.
Tory Nichols was upset. No. Upset was an understatement. She was pissed. Who the hell was Zara Malik and how dare she humiliate her like that in front of everyone? In front of Robby?
That's why, when the fight was over, all Tory did was run off the mat to find a bag to hit. She knew she was probably going to get a lecture from Kim Da-Eun for this, but fuck it. She didn't care. In fact, she thinks Sensei Kim didn't even notice because she seemed so busy while she was berating Kwon. Well... Whatever. All she needed now was a bag to take her anger out on or she would end up taking it out on the first person she saw. Tory had heard Sensei Kreese say that the fighters had a room to prepare for the fight and all she had to do was find that room.
It wasn't that hard.
And it turned out not to be, because not even a minute later, Tory had found the room. She wasted no time and immediately started punching the bag with all her strength. Tory was angry. Very angry. She was angry at Zara for winning, angry at herself for losing, angry at having broken up with Robby and still looking at him like a lovestruck idiot, angry at Aunt Kandace for threatening her about Brandon's custody, angry at her father for being a shitty father and leaving, angry that her mother was dead, angry that she was just a teenager and had to figure everything out, angry at the fucking world. It seemed like life would never stop hitting her. She had no peace. Never, and thinking about all this only made Tory punch the bag even harder. The girl didn't even know how long she was punching the bag, because she only stopped when she heard her Sensei's voice:
"You should wrap a bandage around your fists before punching that bag so hard." - Sensei Kreese's voice advised, but she didn't turn to look at him.
"I should have won, Zara." - Tory replied, still punching the bag in anger.
"Nichols..." - Sensei Kreese looked at the girl's back and let out a long sigh. - "You only lost one battle, but you can still win the war." - He tried to encourage her and Tory turned to look at him.
"How am I going to win the war if I can't even beat that bitch?" - She snorted and Kreese looked at her, knowing that the girl was about to explode.
"Don't look so worried." - Sensei Kreese touched her shoulder, trying to calm her down. - "We'll find a way to defeat the Iron Dragons captains." - He assured her and Tory took a deep breath.
"I need to win this tournament, Sensei." - She vented and Sensei Kreese nodded.
"And you will." - Kreese stated, placing both hands on her shoulder. - "You were born to be a champion and I'm going to make sure you are." - He promised and Tory almost smiled when she saw the confidence that Sensei Kreese had in her.
There were few people who truly believed in Tory's potential and John Kreese was one of those people. He was her Sensei and she trusted him.
"Thank you." - She thanked him sincerely.
"Anything for my granddaughter." - Sensei Kreese joked, trying to lighten the mood and it worked, because Tory laughed right away.
She still remembers when she used to visit John Kreese in prison and call him grandpa.
"And now? What are we going to do?" - The girl asked, imagining that they were going to use the rest of the day to train.
"That's exactly what I wanted to talk about." - Sensei Kreese looked at her, pausing briefly before speaking. - "There's going to be a field trip organized by the organizers and it would be important for you to go." - He commented and Tory raised her eyebrows at him.
"Field trip? What do you mean?" - She questioned, not understanding where her Sensei was going with this.
"It's a field trip for the fighters to get to know each other better." - Sensei Kreese answered, looking at her. - "Zara Malik will be there." - He added and the girl opened her mouth, realizing what her Sensei meant. - "I think it would be important for you to get to know your enemy better." - John Kreese completed and Tory thought about it for a moment.
That made sense. Sensei Kreese was right. Knowing more about Zara could help. But wait... If it was a field trip for the fighters to get to know each other better, then Robby would be there too, right? And not just him, but all the Miyagi Do as well. Damn. Unfortunately, it wasn't like she could avoid them forever. Tory would end up running into them sooner or later. Even... Robby. Maybe it would be better to just face this once and for all.
"I'll go, Sensei." - That's what Tory said, making Sensei Kreese smile satisfied.
After that, the entire Cobra Kai team went back to the hotel to prepare for the afternoon's events. The teenagers would go to the field trip that Sensei Kreese mentioned, while the adults would go to another event also organized by Sekai Takai. Which meant that Sensei Kim wouldn't be there to annoy Tory if she happened to exchange a glance with Robby. Not that she had thought of looking at him. No. No way.
''You don't look bad at all, American.'' - Kwon complimented, seeing the girl's look as soon as she left her hotel room to meet the other Cobra Kai fighters.
Tory wasn't wearing any flashy clothes. She was just wearing what she usually wore. Her usual black Vans, her basic jeans, a gray t-shirt underneath and her favorite black leather jacket. The only thing that was different was her hair. She decided to do some curls and honestly, she felt good with it.
''Too bad I can't say the same.'' - Tory teased and Kwon laughed, already used to the rough way she treated him.
Then, they headed to the hotel lobby to wait for the buses that would take them to the field trip, until she saw him. Robby Keene was there, standing, talking to Hawk, Miguel and Demetri. He was wearing an outfit that perfectly suited him and his skater style. Robby was gorgeous, and just looking at him made Tory's heart ache. The girl tried to look away and get out of everyone's sight, but it was inevitable, because when their eyes met, Robby Keene came running towards her.
''Tory.'' - He called her, stopping in front of her. - ''Can we talk?'' - Robby asked with an almost desperate look on his face.
"We have nothing to talk about, Robby." - Tory replied, trying hard to believe her own words.
"What do you mean?" - He replied, feeling frustrated. - "You say you're going to move to another city, break up with me via text message and then show up here?" - Robby argued, hoping Tory would understand his side. - "With Cobra Kai and Kreese?" - He continued and she could feel the disgust in his voice when he mentioned Cobra Kai and his Sensei.
"You don't understand." - That was all Tory could say.
"You don't let me understand, Tor." - Robby sighed and Tory lowered her gaze, wanting to look anywhere else but at him.
It was already hard to talk to her ex-boyfriend without thinking about throwing herself into his arms, but that would literally become an impossible mission if Robby continued to call her by the nickname that only he called her when they were still together. Fortunately, before Tory could say anything else that might show weakness in front of him, one of the organizers of Sekai Takai showed up to tell her that the buses that would take them to the field trip had arrived.
"I have to go." - Tory said, getting away from him quickly and Robby just stood there, watching the girl he liked walk away.
From afar, a Zara Malik watched the scene. She may have beaten Tory in the match, but the Iron Dragons captain couldn't deny that the fight against the girl bothered her. Zara wasn't stupid. The moment she fought Tory Nichols, she realized that the Cobra Kai captain was probably her biggest threat in Sekai Takai. And what's the easiest way to win? By leaving your opponent unbalanced. Having an idea, Zara opened Instagram and found Tory Nichols' profile. But it wasn't her profile she was looking for, but rather the profile of a certain green-eyed boy she had found in the comments on one of Tory's photos. So does that mean the handsome guy's name was Robby Keene and he was also the captain of the Miyagi Do? Interesting.
"Forget about it, bro." - Miguel approached, touching Robby's shoulder.
"I just wanted her to talk to me." - Robby confessed, feeling completely frustrated.
"You better not think about that right now." - Hawk shrugged, trying to put an end to the subject. - "Just focus on having fun on this field trip." - He advised and Robby nodded, trying not to look as discouraged as he really was.
But it wasn't just Zara who noticed the small interaction between Tory and Robby. Kwon noticed too, after all it was no secret that he had a crush on the American girl.
"Who was that guy?" - He asked, as soon as Tory sat next to him on the bus.
"Since when is that any of your business?" - She snorted and Kwon glared at her.
"If he bothers you again, I'll break his face." - He stated and Tory rolled her eyes.
"I don't need a bodyguard, Kwon." - Tory reminded him, but he just laughed. - "And he wasn't bothering me." - She completed and the Korean made a confused face.
"So what?" - He asked, shrugging.
"He's my ex-boyfriend." - Tory said, letting out a sigh.
Kwon thought about saying something in response, but he chose not to. Instead, he just tried to put his arm around the girl's neck and to his surprise, Tory didn't push him away. She would never admit it out loud, but she really missed a hug. So, Tory rested her head on his shoulder and they just sat in silence until they reached their field trip destination. Maybe Kwon wasn't so bad after all.
Maybe.
When the bus stopped, Tory moved away from Kwon and they got off the bus along with Yoon and the other Cobra Kai students. The field trip was inside a zoo. Because of this, Tory ended up separating herself from her teammates. She wanted to take as many pictures of the animals inside as possible to show Brandon later. Her little brother would love it. The teenager did this for an hour, until she remembered why she was here. She needed to know more about Zara Malik. That was why Sensei Kreese asked her to come. So, she walked around the zoo again until she came across a room full of Sekai Takai fighters. It seemed like it was a competition to see who could kick the highest and she wasn't surprised to see Kwon in the center of the circle. He had without a doubt the highest kick she had ever seen.
"No one really wants to face me?" - Kwon spread his arms, challenging the other competitors.
"I'll go." - Tory simply froze when she heard who the voice belonged to.
It was Robby. Shit.
The green-eyed boy wasted no time and quickly positioned himself in the center of the circle to try to execute the kick. Honestly, he just wanted to make that idiot Korean eat his own words and even though Kwon had a high kick, Robby was feeling confident. But that only lasted until he noticed Tory's presence. When his eyes met his ex-girlfriend's eyes, his confidence dropped from one hundred to zero. That was when Robby knew he wasn't going to win. He even tried to take a deep breath and concentrate like Sensei LaRusso had taught him, but Tory's presence there made things much more difficult.
"Is it for today?" - One of the Cobra Kai students, Min-Seok teased.
"Let's not wait until tomorrow." - The other Cobra Kai student, Chung-Hee added, also in a teasing tone.
Hearing the voices of the Cobra Kai students and looking at Kwon's arrogant expression, Robby finally decided to execute the kick. He took a certain distance and jumped, and despite being a respectable kick, the kick executed by Kwon had been much higher.
"I guess it wasn't this time." - Kwon scoffed with an ironic smile on his face.
Robby even felt like punching him in the face, but he knew it wasn't worth it. It was just a stupid kicking competition. It meant nothing. He was just going to ignore Kwon and that was it.
Seeing her ex-boyfriend leaving the room, Tory decided to go after him. She was about to catch up to him when she saw Zara Malik talking to him. What the hell was this bitch up to?
"I'm not lying." - Zara assured, smiling at him. - "Your kick was really amazing." - She complimented him and Robby's cheeks turned red.
"Thank you." - The boy thanked her, shyly. - "What's your name?" - Robby asked, completely out of politeness.
"I'm Zara Malik." - She introduced herself and Robby immediately recognized her.
She was the captain of the Iron Dragons. The same dojo that fought Cobra Kai today. She was the one who beat Tory.
"I saw you fighting in the tournament today." - He remembered and Zara nodded. - "You fight really well." - Robby acknowledged and she smiled.
"Listen..." - Zara looked at him and bit her lip. - "After this field trip, most of the fighters go to a bar nearby." - She commented and Robby raised his eyebrows at her. - "Would you like to join us?" - Zara invited and he was amazed at how direct the girl was.
Like Tory.
"I don't know." - Robby answered, not knowing what to say. - "I need to meet my friends and see if they're up for it too." - He explained, looking at her.
"It's up to you." - Zara blinked, shrugging. - "If you decide to go, just contact me on Instagram and I'll send you the address." - She added, but Robby had no idea how he was going to find her Instagram. - "Don't worry, I've already followed you." - Zara warned, seeming like she had read his thoughts. - "See you later, Robby Keene." - She let out a little laugh and walked away, leaving the boy standing there, processing everything that had just happened.
Was he crazy or did Zara Malik really just flirt with him? Well, it doesn't matter. After all, the only girl who still haunted his thoughts was named Tory Nichols and he still needed to talk to her.
Tory, on the other hand, became even more irritated when she saw Robby and Zara talking. Especially since the conversation lasted more than a minute. You know what? Fuck it. Maybe it's better if they don't talk. Tory needs to focus on the tournament and Robby Keene can't be a distraction for her right now. Stomping her feet, the girl sped up her steps to go back to the room where the kicking competition was taking place, only to discover that it had already ended. The only ones still in the room were the Cobra Kai fighters. Noticing her presence, Kwon approached.
"Hey American, you disappeared." - He commented, not even realizing that Tory had been there before and had even witnessed Robby losing to him.
"I was walking around." - Tory lied and Kwon shrugged.
"You lost." - He said, looking at her. - "No one has been able to beat me." - Kwon boasted and Tory rolled her eyes.
''You're so arrogant sometimes.'' - Tory complained and Kwon pouted, pretending to be offended.
''I can.'' - He teased and Tory snorted. - ''Look, those idiots said that most fighters go to a bar nearby.'' - Kwon continued and the girl looked at him curiously. - ''What if we show up there?'' - He suggested and Tory raised her eyebrows at him.
''Kwon Jae-Sung, are you asking me out?'' - Tory joked and Kwon laughed.
''Sensei Kreese said it would be good for us to get to know our enemies better.'' - He replied and Tory nodded, especially since her Sensei had said the same thing to her. - ''But take it as you wish.'' - Kwon completed and Tory laughed.
Tory had no interest in Kwon. None at all. She had absolutely no feelings for him and she was only here to win the Sekai Takai.
But this idiot was funny. And if Robby was distracting himself with Zara, she could also be distracted by Kwon.
As friends, of course. She had no ulterior motives here.
"Okay." - Tory agreed, looking at him. - "We're going!" - She said and Kwon smiled.
The bar was much more crowded than they initially thought. Literally all the teenagers who were going to compete in the Sekai Takai were here. Tory and her Cobra Kai teammates decided to sit near the counter and while Yoon and the others went to see the bar's infrastructure, she and Kwon just sat there talking about unimportant things. She was actually having fun, but that only lasted until she saw Robby arriving along with Miguel, Sam, Hawk and Demetri. The boy she liked noticed her presence almost immediately, but his gaze fell when he saw who Tory was with.
''Robby, what...'' - Sam was going to ask what he had seen, but stopped talking when he noticed Tory's presence at the bar.
''What is she doing here?'' - Hawk asked, indignant.
''And with that BTS project from the side?'' - Demetri added and Sam glared at them.
''Don't pay attention to that, Robby.'' - Sam stated, looking at him. - ''They're teammates, it's normal for them to hang out together.'' - She added, trying to reassure her friend.
''Sam is right, bro.'' - Miguel supported his girlfriend, also with the intention of calming him down.
''Besides, you better go look for that girl from the Iron Dragons.'' - Hawk said, shrugging.
They had kind of stalked on instagram the Iron Dragons captain after Robby mentioned the little encounter he had with Zara Malik at the zoo. He hadn't even wanted to come, but Hawk and Demetri said he needed to distract himself. That was why they were here now.
"She has almost two million followers.'' - Demetri reminded him, impressed. - "Enjoy it, man!" - He patted Robby on the back and the boy sighed.
Maybe Hawk and Demetri were right. Not that he had any interest in Zara. She was beautiful, he wasn't blind. But... Tory was Tory. But what could he do if Tory didn't want to talk to him? Nothing. And maybe he really needed to distract himself. Thinking about Tory Nichols all the time was driving Robby Keene crazy.
"You came!" - Zara appeared, giving him a quick hug. - "Dance with me." - She asked, looking at him.
Robby couldn't even say no, because Hawk practically pushed him towards Zara. The Iron Dragons captain wasted no time and quickly grabbed his hand, pulling Robby to the dance floor.
Of course Tory saw this. She hadn't taken her eyes off Robby since he showed up at the bar and seeing her ex-boyfriend next to Zara pissed her off. Despite this, she was ready to swallow her anger and ignore the two of them, but that changed when Zara Malik made a point of looking at her with a mocking smile and sending a little kiss with her hand in her direction. Bitch. She knew perfectly well what she was doing. Zara wanted to piss her off and she succeeded, and she was going to regret it. Unable to control her impulsiveness, Tory got up from her chair and went to the dance floor only to catch Zara with her cell phone in her hand taking a picture with Robby. She wasted no time and bumped into Zara's hand, making the Iron Dragons captain's cell phone fall to the floor.
"Sorry." - Tory scoffed, seeing Robby bend down to pick up Zara's cell phone. - "The bar was too crowded and I'm not very good at spotting bitches." - She teased, looking the girl up and down.
"You're the girl whose ass I kicked in the tournament today." - Zara reminded, pretending she didn't know Tory. - "I can see you want to get your ass kicked again." - She scoffed, returning the teasing.
"I want to see you try." - Tory stared at her, waiting for Zara to go after her.
Tory Nichols was dying to fight Zara again. As soon as she made the first move, Tory was more than ready to fight back.
"I'm not going to beat you twice in the same day." - The Iron Dragons captain changed the subject, not wanting to fight in a bar.
Zara Malik was a public figure. She cared about her image and she was a kind of "Paris Hilton" of karate. It wasn't good to fight in a place where anyone could film. This didn't look good to her followers and even if Zara wanted to beat Tory up right now, she would never do it in a place that could compromise her image.
"Are you scared?" - Tory laughed, not understanding why Zara was backing down.
"Tory..." - Robby called her name and the girl swallowed hard when she saw the way her ex-boyfriend was looking at her. - "Stop it." - He asked, trying to calm the fight.
"Are you really going to defend her?" - Tory widened her eyes, getting even angrier.
What the fuck? Why was Robby defending this bitch?
"I'm not defending anyone." - Robby assured, letting out a sigh. - "I just don't want you guys to fight." - He explained, looking from Tory to Zara.
"I don't want to fight." - Zara defended herself, raising her hands up in surrender. - "At least not here." - She added and Tory rolled her eyes.
Either this bitch was a big wimp or she was trying to act like a good girl in front of Robby so that Tory would come off as the one in the wrong.
Yeah, it was probably the second option.
"Is everything okay here, Captain?" - Thank God Kwon showed up, because she was about to lose her mind and punch Zara in the face.
"It's okay, don't worry." - Tory replied and Kwon smiled, putting his arm around the girl's neck.
Obviously this didn't go unnoticed by Robby who clenched his jaw at the same time and turned to face Zara:
"Can we go back to dancing?" - He suggested, feeling extremely irritated when he saw Tory with Kwon.
"Sure." - Zara agreed and Tory snorted when she saw her ex-boyfriend walk away with her newest rival.
Now, besides losing to Zara in the tournament and being humiliated in front of everyone, this bitch was still hitting on her ex-boyfriend? What did Tory do to deserve this?
You know what? Maybe she needs a drink.
And that's exactly what she did.
So, when she came back with Kwon near the bar where they were sitting, Tory just ordered a shot of vodka on the rocks, while listening to the Cobra Kai captain tell some random story or other. She wasn't even really paying attention to him. Tory just wanted to drink her drink and forget that this shitty day ever happened.
She doesn't even know how long they were there, but Tory knows that after a while, Robby simply sat down three chairs away from her. The worst part is that he wouldn't stop looking at her. That look that made her whole body burn. Tory even tried to avoid him, but the truth is that she couldn't take her eyes off him either. The girl really didn't know who was the biggest idiot here: Her or him. How long were they going to stare at each other, after all?
Unable to stand it any longer, Tory told Kwon that she was going to the bathroom and left. Robby wasted no time in following her.
''Why are you doing this?'' - Robby's voice made the teenager stop walking, before she entered the girls' bathroom.
''And since when do you care?'' - Tory replied irritably, turning to face her ex-boyfriend's green eyes.
''Of course I care.'' - Robby looked at her, feeling frustration come with everything that Tory thought he didn't care.
''I really saw how much you care.'' - She scoffed, letting out a bitter laugh. - ''It hasn't even been a month since we broke up and you were already dancing all excited with that bitch.'' - Tory rolled her eyes, clearly referring to Zara.
''You talk like I'm the only one in the wrong here.'' - Robby accused, remembering the moment when Kwon put his arm around Tory's neck. - ''Don't pretend you didn't spend the whole night talking to that idiot, too.'' - He complained, also starting to get irritated.
''Kwon is just my teammate.'' - Tory defended herself, shrugging. - ''He and I have nothing.'' - She added and Robby's gaze softened when he realized his ex-girlfriend was telling the truth.
"I have nothing with Zara either." - He assured and Tory let out an ironic laugh when she heard him say the name of the Iron Dragons captain. - "I'm serious." - Robby insisted and Tory just crossed her arms over her chest, not wanting to believe any of his words.
It was easier not to believe.
God, it was hard to even look at him.
"Whatever, Robby." - That's what she ended up saying, turning her back so she could get away from him.
"Talk to me." - Robby asked, making her stop. - "Please?" - He begged and Tory shook her head, still refusing to look at him.
"I already told you we have nothing to talk about." - The girl stated, knowing that any more minutes in front of Robby Keene could be dangerous, especially now that he had just let his guard down.
"Please, Tor." - Robby begged again and hearing the pain in his voice finally made Tory Nichols explode once and for all.
"What the fuck, Robby!" - She cursed, turning to look at him. - "Why don't you leave me alone?" - Tory questioned, feeling her eyes start to water.
"Because when I'm not with you, nothing makes sense anymore!" - He answered with his voice full of emotion. - "I need you, Tor." - Robby admitted, but that only ended up making Tory's anger come back even stronger.
"Do you need me?" - She scoffed with tears rolling down her cheeks. - "I was the one who needed you!" - Tory screamed and Robby's heart broke as he realized what she was referring to.
He hadn't gone after her when Tory left Miyagi Do that day. Robby hadn't wanted to push her too hard and he really thought she needed space at that moment, but he was wrong. She didn't need space. Tory needed support. She needed him.
"I'm sorry." - Robby whispered, because apologizing was all he could do right now. - "I'm sorry." - He repeated, getting close enough to Tory to pull her into his arms.
For a moment, he thought Tory was going to pull away, but she didn't. In fact, it was completely the opposite, because the girl clung so tightly to his neck that it seemed like she didn't want to let go of him anymore. Realizing she wasn't going to push him away, Robby wrapped his arms around her waist, feeling when Tory rested her head on his shoulder. They stayed like that for more than a minute: Hugged and in silence. Only they knew how much they both needed this.
"I just wish you were there." - Tory confessed, against his neck. - "I just..." - She sobbed and Robby interrupted her, knowing very well what she meant.
"I know." - He sighed with a burning feeling of guilt in his chest for making the girl he liked feel this way. - "I was an idiot for not going after you right away." - Robby added, fully aware that he had failed her.
"You really were." - Tory agreed, her voice still choked. - "But at least you're recognizing it now." - She looked at him, managing a shy smile as she said this.
"I know this doesn't change anything, but..." - Robby hesitated and Tory raised her eyebrows at him, wanting him to continue talking. - "I went looking for you at your apartment three days after you left the dojo." - He revealed, surprising the girl.
"You went?" - Tory asked, completely surprised.
She really didn't expect that.
"I went." - Robby confirmed, looking at her. - "I was worried about Brandon and you." - He explained and hearing her ex-boyfriend talking about his concern for her little brother made Tory Nichols' heart race.
"I don't know what to say." - Tory looked away, because she really didn't know what to say.
Robert Swayze Keene would still be the death of her.
"Don't say anything, Tor." - Robby caressed the girl's face with the tip of his thumb and slowly approached to rest his forehead against hers.
Tory knew perfectly well what was coming next, but she was completely unable to pull away. So, when Robby leaned in and his lips brushed against hers, she can't pull away. Or rather... There was no way she could walk away.
Feeling that his ex-girlfriend wanted this kiss as much as he did, the green-eyed boy deepened the kiss, sliding his tongue into her mouth. The young couple had so much chemistry and missed each other so much that it was impossible for Tory to pull away. They wanted to enjoy every second of this moment, because deep down they both knew that when they parted, reality would hit them hard in the face.
If it were just because of her feelings, Tory Nichols would never let go of Robby Keene again, but she knew that things were never that easy for her. Kwon was here. Yoon and the other Cobra Kai fighters were here too. If they saw her with Robby and told Kim Da-Eun, she was screwed. Sensei Kim could take away her captain's headband or even kick her out of the team, and Tory couldn't let that happen. She couldn't count on Sensei Kreese's protection forever. Tory needed to win the Sekai Takai as captain, it's not like she had any other option. So she needed to be careful, and being careful meant not kissing Robby around. Thinking about that, she managed to gather all her willpower to end the kiss with pecks and move away from the boy she liked so much.
"We can't." - She stated, doing her best to keep her voice steady.
"Why?" - Robby asked, feeling despair hit him with everything.
He thought that now that they had kissed, everything would be fine. Wouldn't it?
"Let's just pretend none of this happened." - Tory decided, feeling her heart tighten when she saw her ex-boyfriend's sad eyes.
Robby didn't understand why she was doing this. Hadn't their kiss meant anything? He couldn't lose her. Not again.
"I don't want to pretend nothing happened." - The boy looked at her and his green eyes shone with tears that began to fall.
He didn't want to seem so vulnerable in front of her, but the idea of losing Tory again made him break in a way he never imagined possible.
''It's better this way, Robby.'' - She looked away, unable to look at him anymore. - "Trust me." - Tory swallowed hard and finally turned her back to leave.
Seeing Robby Keene crying in front of her was too much for her to bear.
Tory couldn't stay around him for another minute.
She went into the girls' bathroom and didn't look back.
When she sat on the toilet and realized she was alone, she finally allowed herself to cry.
This chapter is long and also has a lot of angst in it. Sorry about that! lol
Thanks for the comments on the previous chapter. I love hearing your opinions about the story. It motivates me to write even more.
I said this story would only have five chapters, but there are so many things I need to write that I changed it to eight. I hope you don't mind.
See you soon! Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ;*
