Saying Goodbye Until Next Time, Friends

"You see, their circumstances of being summoned here are a little different than mine. But I'll tell you about that later." Shizu said.

"During my time as a teacher, I remember something, and I set out on a new quest." Shizu mentioned.

"Oh, what for?" Rimuru asked curiously.

"To find the man who summoned me to this world." Shizu answered as she looks up.

"Do you want revenge?" Rimuru asked, worried a little that Shizu might really hate the guy to the extreme, not that he could blame her for what happened to her as a little girl.

"I don't know, but… There was something I needed to find out. Then I found them. They're really good people, if not a little danger prone." Shizu referred to the adventuring group she met before coming here.

"Yeah, that's true." Rimuru nodded, the three of them are a little silly and the two girls seem okay, but they're all good people.

"I had a lot of fun, but now… I'm gonna have to say goodbye to them now that I've become a fire spirit." Shizu said.

"I guess even after telling them you're going to be staying here, you're still sad that your adventures with them ended short." Rimuru guessed on how she's feeling right now.

Shizu smiles that she is having a wonderful moment with Rimuru, something she never thought would happen in another world and it feels very nice like she was destined to meet this slime.

"Will you tell me your name?" Shizu asked.

"Huh? I'm Rimuru, remember?" Rimuru was confused on why she is asking him his name.

"Your real name, silly." Shizu giggled, correcting herself on what her question meant.

"Oh. It's Satoru. Satoru Mikami." Rimuru revealed his former human name.

"I'm Shizue. Shizue Izawa." Shizu revealed her former name of the other world as well.

"Satoru, I don't know why, but I really feel like that we are closer than ever before even though we have only known each other for such a short time." Shizu commented.

"More than you know." Rimuru said, smiling in his mind.

"Oh, care to explain what you mean by that?" Shizu asked curiously.

"Well, I met some cute elves with one giving me fortune reading, telling me that I would meet the one I am destined to be with for all of eternity. She didn't say the eternity part, but it kind of felt like it to me." Rimuru explained as he hops onto her lap.

"I'm this destined one you speak of, am I?" Shizu asked, already seeing where this is going.

"Yeah." Rimuru nodded, blushing from having to tell her that.

"Then there is only thing left to do." Shizu picked up Rimuru, holding him up to her face.

"Satoru, would you like to marry me?" Shizu asked.

"Huh? Marry! Are you for real?!" Rimuru was shocked to hear that Shizu had just made a proposal.

"Yes, I have already grown close to you and see Iruma as my own son. I want to experience more wonderful things here with you, to have a happy life as a new fire spirit, I believe it's going to be quite the adventure." Shizu smiled.

"Of course, I would gladly marry you!" Rimuru accepted.

"That makes me happy." Shizu smiled.

"Now, shall we seal this with a kiss?" Shizu held him closer to her face causing him to feel nervous until her lips made contact with his slimy body.

Rimuru was shocked to feel that she is really kissing him on the face and soon calms down letting the kiss sink into his body and mind, then he started glowing for some reason.

(With Iruma and Others)

"It's nice of you three wanting to check on mom before you go tomorrow." Iruma said to the five adventurers.

"We just wanted to make sure that Shizu is okay." Eren said.

"Well, she does, but we do want to thank her for tagging along with a bunch of ragtag people like us." Kaval explained.

"Right, and you've seen how powerful Rimuru and this kid are, I say she's in really good hands." Gido believed.

"I wanted to get her autograph. Being with the amazing Flame Hero, I doubt the boys back home will believe this!" Vierra squealed excitedly.

"There is a little request I would like to make with your father consider he's the village chief." Sango said.

"Whatever that request is, I'm sure dad wouldn't mind." Iruma said.

"Oh, hello Lord Iruma and friends." Opera greeted as they and Rigurd came up to the tent where Rimuru and Shizu are.

"Are you here to visit our lord and his lady as well?" Opera asked.

"Yes, we wanted to see how she's doing with Ifrit no longer being a problem for her." Sango answered.

"Have you two come to visit her too?" Iruma asked.

"Yes, well, and to bring Miss Shizu a fresh change of clothes." Rigurd said while showing the spare clothes he's holding in his arms.

"Hey Ranga, who are my parents doing in there?" Iruma asked, petting the wolf monster.

"I believe they are doing fine, Master Iruma. But I noticed there was a faint glow coming from inside, it didn't look harmful or anything." Ranga informed.

"A glowing light?" Iruma was confused and decided to take a look at this for himself.

"Hey, are you two okay in there?" Iruma asked as he goes inside.

"Huh, what the… What's going on?!" Iruma gasped loudly as Ameri and the other three monster girls just arrived.

"Iruma, is something wrong?" Ameri asked as she goes into the tent as well.

But what she saw in there completely blew her mind almost like she had just entered into something she has never seen before, and soon everyone saw why they are shocked about causing them to share the same reaction to see this with their own eyes.

"Rimuru…?" Shizu was surprised to see what just happened to Rimuru.

The big reason for the shocked reaction was because of how Rimuru suddenly look completely different than his usual small slime form.

Rimuru currently looks like a human, looking nearly identical to Shizu's former human form, but the long silver-blue hair and deep golden eyes give off an otherworldly divine beauty that sets the two apart. And he's completely naked right now.

"Rimuru, that is you, right?" Shizu asked.

"Yeah, I think so…" Rimuru noticed his different appearance, seeing that he is somehow human or at least on the outside.

"Whoa, did my dad just became my other mom?!" Iruma gasped in shock.

"I'm pretty sure I'm still a man!" Rimuru yelled.

"Here, you should cover yourself. A man should only be naked in front of the woman of his life." Opera gestured to the spare clothes that were meant for Shizu is now going to Rimuru.

"Oh, thanks." Rimuru quickly realized that he's naked and took the clothes.

Rimuru put on the clothes and sat on the bed with Shizu next to him, letting everyone get a good look at him to see that Rimuru gaining a human form.

"So, how did you change into that? I thought you couldn't change your shape unless you've eaten that same species." Ameri asked, having understood how Rimuru's power works.

"Yeah, that is how it goes for me. But all I did was share a kiss with Shizu and the next thing I know, I look like this." Rimuru wasn't sure how this happens too.

"Maybe you took some of Shizu's former human essence and that's what caused your transformation." Heine guessed.

"But how is that possible since I'm a fire spirit?" Shizu asked.

"I don't know! That's my only theory!" Heine yelled a little.

Tae looks at Rimuru, being very close and making eyes contact, and then licks his nose which weirded him out a bit before turning to Iruma giving him a nod.

"Yep, he's dad alright." Iruma nodded.

"Did she had to lick me like that?" Rimuru asked.

"If I'm being honest… you sort of look like a younger version of Shizu." Kaval commented.

"Yeah, like the cutest girl I have ever seen." Eren commented, that made Rimuru feel uncomfortable from that.

"He's right, the appearance is like looking at myself from the past." Shizu said, seeing that as well.

"Can you change back?" Opera asked.

"Yeah." Rimuru nodded and then change back into his slime form.

"Not gonna lie, I'm impressed." Vierra commented.

"Took the words right out of my mouth." Gido nodded.

"Well, even in that new form of his, my feelings for him won't change a thing." Shizu smiled.

"Aw, you're too much." Rimuru blushed.

"So, was there something you guys wanted to speak with me about?" Shizu asked the group.

"Yeah, I, huh… Can I get your autograph?" Vierra asked, holding a piece of paper and a quell.

"Where did you get the quell?" Iruma asked.

"Sure." Shizu nodded and signed her name on the paper, making Vierra very happy.

"We also have come to share some words hoping to help cheer you up a bit." Sango mentioned.

"How very kind of you. I enjoyed having fun with you guys, everything we did made new memories for me to look back and the bond we shared." Shizu stated with a smile, making them happy.

"Although, I also saw how most of the time some of you can be a bit danger prone." Shizu chuckled.

That made everyone look over to Kaval sharing the same look as the leader of the party group felt this.

"Hey, hold on! Don't blame me." Kaval protested this notion.

"You're the leader." Eren said.

"Indeed, it was your action that provoke those giant ants to attack us." Sango pointed out.

"Oh please, you should try looking at Gido. Like that time when he fell into that pit." Kaval mentioned.

"Hold on, that only happened because Eren pushed me." Gido reminded him of what really happened.

"Nuh-uh. You fell 'cause you're clumsy. I was too busy on surviving from those monsters." Eren mentioned, and the three started arguing about who is more prone to danger than the other.

"Those three, I can see them being like this than being sad." Shizu smiled.

"Yeah, they also seem really happy when you helped them out a lot." Iruma nodded.

"That just points out they relied on her too much." Rimuru said which everyone agrees.

(The Next Day)

"We appreciate all of your help, but we should be heading out." Kaval said as he and the party are ready to leave.

"You're going back to your country?" Iruma asked.

"Yeah, we gotta report to the guild master about what we found here and what happened here along with Shizu being a fire spirit." Kaval answered.

"But don't you worry, we'll be sure to put in some really good words about you guys and your village." Vierra smiled.

"Do you think he'll accept me as a friend?" Iruma asked.

"I'm sure once we explain about you." Vierra nodded.

"We'll tell them everything about you too, Rimuru." Eren said.

"If anything ever comes up, you can count on us." Gido said, offering a helping hand to Rimuru and the village on whatever they need.

"Thank you, I'll keep that in mind." Rimuru nodded.

The party look at each other for a second and then bow to Shizu.

"Shizu, thank you so much for everything." They said together which surprises her.

"And I'll try to be the kinda leader you won't have to worry about." Kaval promised.

"We had some great times together. I'll treasure those memories." Gido said.

"Thank you!" Eren and Vierra hugged Shizu.

"You became like a big sister to me, Shizu. And I only hope that I can still be close to you like sisters." Eren smiled with tears about to come out.

"I promise I'll become a strong adventure and maybe a hero just like you!" Vierra declared her goal.

"Even though our time was short, it was an honor to have travel this far with you." Sango said with a soft smile.

"(These people, I can tell they're going to do great things together on their path to being adventures.)" Shizu thought smiled as she patted Eren and Vierra's head.

Shizu is really glad to have met these guys back at the town to travel into this forest, believing that she had made a new bond with them that will last for a lifetime.

"I'm glad we were able to make good friends with these people." Iruma smiled.

"Yeah, humans can be pretty good if you meet the right people." Heine admitted.

And then Rimuru decided to ask them a question that's been in his head for some time.

"By the way, what's the deal with that junk you call gear?" Rimuru asked the party group about their weak gearsets.

"How mean?!" The party group felt offended by that remark.

"I have been wondering about that as well. I didn't ask because you told me to be focus on the mission given to us by the Guild Master, even though you all look like you're unprepared." Sango expressed how she views the gears they wear.

"Oh yeah, then why don't you tell us about your gear?" Vierra tried to make Sango feel embarrassed about her gear.

"The suit itself is made from a fabric that can be comfortable to move around almost like it was your own skin and a little stretchy to remove, it also has strong defense power to protect me from powerful blows and some from magic attacks. The shoulder pads have hidden things inside like this one having poison powder, there is also a hidden retractable blade here. I also have this mask to protect me from any poison gas in the air." Sango explained while holding the mask.

"Damn… You're better equipped than we are?!" The rest of the party fell on their knees in depression of how far apart they are from Sango.

"Hey dad, maybe we can do something for them before they go." Iruma said while patting the sad Vierra on the head.

"I was just thinking the same thing." Rimuru smiled.

Soon, everyone went over another tent that is bigger and has some gears for the party members to wear as they become shocked of these gears.

"No way! This stuff's like my dream armor!" Kaval was shocked to wear powerful-looking blue armor.

"Woa, look at the quality of this robe. And it's light but sturdy, not to mention gorgeous." Eren was taken aback by this robe.

"Someone pinch me. I've never owned such fine equipment before." Gido was amazed by the armor plating on himself, then he noticed the fur under the shoulder pads. "Whoa! It's even lined with fur from a Direwolf."

"Are you okay with that, Ranga? It's made from your species." Iruma asked the horned wolf.

"Do not worry, we willing gave our fur to help make something that can help the village." Ranga said.

"They're parting gifts. Some of our artisans' best work." Rimuru said.

"Artisans?" Gido wondered who that could be. Then a dwarf man came up to them with a little chuckle.

"I wouldn't call them our best work, they're only prototypes." One dwarf said.

"So, do they fit you all right?" The second dwarf asked.

"It's all about craftsmanship, you know!" The third dwarf smiled.

And the fourth dwarf just nods at the adventurers.

"Say something!" Rimuru yelled at the fourth dwarf, wanting to hear what his voice sounds like.

"I never get tired of seeing the fine work of the dwarves." Ghislaine smiled.

"I'll introduce you. From the right, this is Kaijin, Garm, Myrd, and Dord." Rimuru introduced them.

"Wait, Kaijin? No way!" Kaval recognized the guy.

"As in Kaijin the world-famous blacksmith?!" Eren was surprised.

"And Garm, Myrd, and Dord. The three renowned Dwarf Brothers?!" Gido gasped as well.

"Thank you so much! I'll make it an heirloom." Kaval shook Kaijin's hands.

"I'm so happy!" Eren hugged Myrd and Garm.

"You just made my life!" Gido lifted and hugs Dord.

"Huh, you never told me these dwarves are the famous kinds." Iruma was surprised to hear these guys are famous.

"Well, they are, but I never realize they had such a prestigious reputation. You could say they're Dwarven treasures, I think." Rimuru said.

"Rimuru, if you don't mind, I would like to make a request with you." Sango said to the slime, getting his attention.

"Hmm, Vierra?" Iruma noticed that Vierra isn't among them and went over to the back seeing Vierra looking down at the armor set.

"Is everything okay?" Iruma asked.

"Yeah, it just there's a reason why I wear less armor and more revealing of my skin. Don't get me wrong, the armor is awesome and all, but if I start covering my skin then I won't be able to protect my sister." Vierra said with a sad but serious look on her face.

"(So, she's letting more of her skin to be shown to protect her sister?)" Iruma thought puzzled about this reason.

"We can talk with Kaijin getting you a new armor to be like the ones you're wearing with a few extra features. For now, why don't you just wear these." Iruma pointed at the gauntlets and leg armor.

"Thank you." Vierra smiled.

Iruma: And so, the party group went back to their country after a long thank you to the dwarves and they even promise to come visit us again. I just hope they don't almost get themselves killed before that happen.

The party waves goodbye to Iruma and everyone before walking onto the path back to home as Iruma believes things are going to get better from here.
