'it's hard being a god.

especially with those annoying humans around.

and having six siblings and three cousins.

geez, why couldn't dad Vee have just had one or two kids?

maybe even three like aunt Tee'

"Selinena!" Lige cried out, running through the caves. his reddish-orange hair flowed up like fire, with rings of real fire around his wrists. he was wearing a special fire-proof cloth around his waist like pants, a gem shaped like a flame fastened to his chest by two straps.

"What?" Selinena scowled as she turned to face her brother, rocks and stones floating around her. her long silver hair was in permanent curls, floating down her back. her large silver wings were pressed against her back. she was wearing a white handmade sleeveless dress that didn't cover her right shoulder and was longer at the trim on the right side.

"are you okay? you're not mad or anything?" Lige asked.

"not until you arrived" Selinena replied.

"really? because there's a tornado on the other side of the planet" Lige explained.

"for the last time, Lige, tornadoes can form without my help!" Selinena shrieked, the floating rocks and stones flying in all directions.

"I don't believe you. what happened? Fulix leave plants around again? Quewa freeze your bedroom?" Lige questioned, flinching as a rock flew past him.

"no and no. neither of those happened. I don't need to be mad for tornados and hurricanes to form. you stupid twerp" Selinena replied.

"did a human flirt with you?" Lige asked, his voice half a whisper.

"no! Of course not! that's disgusting!" Selinena shrieked in reply.

Lige shrugged before leaving.

Selinena stuttered as she felt the sharp end of a humans spear stabbing through her flesh. the human holding the other side of the spear watched on in shock as the feathers on her wings blew off into the wind and evaporated.

she grabbed his upper arms tightly as she felt wind begin to disappear from her lungs.

the air spirit looked up at the man as her eyes dissolved to silver.

a puff of golden dust blew out of her mouth as she took her last breath.

her dead body collapsed against the horrified man, her wings torn and ripped and her hair uncurled down her back.

the man pulled back in horror, dropping the spear as the grip on his arms loosened.

"you. killed. my. sister" Quewa growled. her blue hair flowed down her back, golden colored tears trickled down her cheeks as she looked at the mortal and frost covered the ground around her. she was wearing a sleeveless light blue crop top and a tight lightish blue skirt. very light blue fins were behind her ears and between her fingers.

"YOU STUPID B-TCH!" Quewa screamed. any ground around them flooded with frost as her voice echoed through the windless air.
