Yo! Its my Birthday Today! So Happy Birthday for me I guess.
And here is the third chapter Folks!! And please leave reviews and suggestions. It motivates me to write chapters faster.
However before the chapter starts I wanna ask. What should be a good Battle Nickname for Ash? So please leave suggestions in the Comments below.
Summary:- The Second Round of Qualifiers Tournament is about to Rumble. Ash's Beyblade tries to assert it's influence.
"This is it for the first stage of Qualifiers Round Folks!" Blader DJ yelled as the screen showed Yu, Masamune, Tsubasa, Kyoya and Ash's pictures "And we have our top 5 participants for the next Level!!"
The pictures on the screen shuffled and images of Yu, Tsubasa and Masaume came in the center.
"The First Round would be an all out Battle between these three bladers" DJ informed the crowd "The Winner will get the spot for Japan's International Team"
The screen shuffled again and then Ash and Kyoya's picture appeared.
"And then will be the final round between our highest scorers to determine the Final Spot" DJ yelled excitedly "I hope you all are ready! Because it's about to rumbleeeee!!!!"
The crowd cheered wildly.
"We will be back in an hour folks with two juicy battles" DJ shouted as he made a Launching motion "Until then!! Let It Rip!!"
"LET IT RIP!!" The crowd cheered back.
"That's one way to fire up a crowd" Ash said to himself from the Locker Room as he stared at the Screen which was showing the match ups.
The doors opened and came Gingka, Madoka, Kenta and Tsubasa.
"Hi guys" Ash waved with a grin as they came towards him.
"Dude Hi Yourself!!" Gingka exclaimed "How the hell did you get so many points?!"
"By battling" Ash deadpanned with a 'duh' voice causing others to sweatdrop.
"Whatever's the case. You ranked the highest and even beat Kyoya in ranking by collecting two times his number" Kenta smiled cheerfully, happy that his friend qualified.
"I am sorry for you though" Ash frowned, a little bummed that Kenta hadn't qualified.
"Nah" Kenta waved it off "I am just not strong enough as of now." His eyes shone then "But I would be one day. You just see"
"That's the spirit Kenta!" Ash smiled and patted the greenhead's shoulder.
Madoka smiled as she looked at Ash "Prince of Battles, huh?" She said smiling "It was a nice name for you"
"Really?" Ash raised his eyebrow "It sounded corny to me"
"No! It's a cool title!" Gingka disagreed.
"Though I hope you are ready Ash" Tsubasa said seriously "Kyoya is a strong opponent. He is one of the Semi-Finalists of Battle Bladers"
Ash nodded equally as serious. He still has enough time to strategize.
The door suddenly opened again and in came the familiar heavy figure of Benkei along with Masamune and another boy who Ash recognized as Yu Tendo.
"I can't believe you scored more than Kyoya!!" Benkei shouted "How did you do that? Why didn't you tell me?"
"But...but how would I know?" Ash sweatdropped.
"Well it doesn't matter" Benkei grinned "Because Kyoya would win this"
"We will see it on time, won't we?" Ash grinned back toothily.
Masamune meanwhile focused on Tsubasa "Are you ready to face the Number 1 Blader?"
"Number 1 huh?" Tsubasa raised an eyebrow "Do tell me how much you scored again?"
"Yeah!!" Ash stared at Masamune "You said that you are number 1 Blader. How did you score so less?"
Others sweatdropped and Kenta sighed at Ash "It's your fault that you believed in Masamune's words"
"So he isn't number 1?" Ash asked in disbelief.
"No" Everyone except Masamune said at the same time.
Masamune faltered but shook his head "Come on!! Scores don't matter!! I am number 1"
"Yeah number 1! You are the number 1 braggart!" Yu shouted irritated "You don't have any achievements besides defeating Pegasus once when Gingka couldn't control it"
"Yes!" Benkei joined in "The rest of us fought in Battle Bladers. You haven't participated in any Tournaments yet"
"So your number 1 rank is nothing more than a made up fantasy" Tsubasa joined in.
Ash stared at Masamune in disbelief. Not only this kid lied about number 1 but he didn't have any achievement. Even his rivals from his previous World never boasted about being Number 1 Pokemon Trainers despite being Tournament Participants.
"I defeated Gingka, the Winner of Battle Bladers if you all remember!" Masamune shouted annoyed "So what if I didn't participate in any Tournaments. I defeated the Winner of Battle Bladers, and thus I am number 1!!"
"Hah!" Gingka snorted "You are the number 1 opportunist. You knew that I couldn't control Pegasus at that time, and still you forced me to fight"
"Let's not forget that Masamune refused to have a rematch when Gingka asked" Kenta chimed in.
"That means you know Gingka is stronger than you and that is why you refused for a rematch once he could control Pegasus" Ash deduced as he stared at Masamune who flinched at the intensity of Ash's stare "You do know that challenging a weakened opponent and then refusing a match is cowardly, right?"
"Yes it is!!" Yu declared "It is against the Spirit of Beyblading" He then offered his hand to Ash "I am Yu Tendo. Your soon to be teammate if you win". Ash shook the smaller kid's hand eagerly.
"He is as adorable as Kenta" Ash thought with a smile.
"Well you are going to be disappointed!" Benkei declared "Because my leader! The King of Beasts Kyoya would win the Battle"
"As I said we will see" Ash smiled sharply.
"Well there is still half an hour left for the Second Round to start" Madoka said as she came forward towards Ash "Would you like to spend some time with us, Ash?"
"As much as I would love your company" Ash smiled causing Madoka to blush "I would like to spend the time training for my Battle"
Tsubasa and Benkei looked at each other, their mouths twitching with barely hidden grins at the obvious flirting. However for the rest of them, it went above their heads.
"Well I am going to get some training done!" Masamune declared "I will show you all that I am number 1!!"
With that he went out of the room while Yu nodded at Tsubasa "I hope you are ready Tsubasa! Let's give them a battle they would never forget!" With that the Blader of Libra too left the room.
"Good luck Ash" Tsubasa nodded "Kyoya is a tough opponent"
"You are gonna need it" Benkei added.
Ash rolled his eyes at Benkei's adoration for his leader and nodded at Tsubasa "You too Tsubasa. Best of luck".
The two of them left the room leaving Ash with Kenta, Gingka and Madoka.
"You sure you will not come with us to the stands?" Gingka asked "We would be cheering Yu, Tsubasa and Masamune too, even though he is a braggart he is a friend"
"Which is why I am not coming" Ash said shaking his head "All three of them are good friends of you all. And I can't choose whom to cheer on. The best I can do is to wish all three of them good luck"
"Fair I guess" Gingka nodded smiling as he patted Ash's shoulder "I would be honoured to have someone like you in my team. But Kyoya is a tough nut to crack, even for me"
"Well I could stay here" Madoka said suddenly "I can give you tips to defeat him"
"Yes. But that wouldn't be fair to Tsubasa and others, would it?" Ash said shaking his head "The rest of them would be battling with their own powers and strategy. And if I get an unfair advantage on them, then it wouldn't be fair. We all are gunning for a spot in the National Team after all"
Everyone couldn't help but smile at Ash's words.
"But still thanks for asking Madoka" Ash gave her a blinding smile "Thank you. All of you"
The others nodded and slowly left the room except Madoka who stayed back. Before Ash could ask what she wanted, she quickly came towards him and gave him a tight hug.
Ash was surprised but smiled softly and patted her shoulders.
She pulled back a few seconds later, blush dusting her cheeks as she smiled "For good luck" With that she left the room, leaving Ash with his thoughts.
"Of course" Ash smiled softly "With this, how could I lose" He took out his Pokedex and flipped it on. He sat down on a nearby bench and began searching "Now lets see what metal this Kyoya is made of".
30 Min Later:-
"HELLO EVERYONE!" Blader DJ yelled in the microphone "Welcome back to the thrilling match which is the World Tournament Qualifiers finals! ARE YOU ALL READY?!!!"
"YES!!" Was the enthusiastic cheer of the crowd.
"Normally it would have been the top four Bladers who would have qualified for the next round. But the rules were a little twerked to make the match more exciting!!" DJ explained "In the First Battle there would be a 3 on 3 rumble between these three Bladers!"
The light focused on the side walk as Yu emerged with a determined look on his face.
"In the fifth place we have Yu Tendo and his Bey Flame Libra!!" DJ yelled.
"I am going all the way to the top!" Yu shouted as he pointed his Flame Libra towards the crowd which cheered.
"In the Fourth Place" The Light focused on another end "We have a brand new Blader who haven't been in any official Tournament however that doesn't make him any less powerful for he has come in the 4th Place!!"
Masamune emerged waving at the crowd as he took out his own Bey.
"Give it all for Masamune Kadoya! And his partner Ray Striker!!"
"I will show you all who is number 1!!" Masamune grinned.
Then the light once again focused elsewhere as DJ shouted "And for our final Contestant of this round. He is the mysterious and calm Blader who's cool could douse the greatest of Flames"
Tsubasa emerged into the spotlight, his expression calm and serene compared to his opponents.
"Give it all for Tsubasa Otori and his Bey the Powerful Earth Eagle!!"
The crowd cheered while Tsubasa only raised one hand, his other is clenching on Eagle.
"Let's do this Eagle" Tsubasa whispered smiling.
In the stands, the others cheered for their friends. "Give it all you guys!" Gingka shouted.
"Go Tsubasa!" Kenta yelled.
Benkei looked around "Ash isn't here?"
"He stayed back for some last minute practice" Madoka explained, a small smile gracing her face.
"Never seen someone so determined before" Gingka chuckled.
"Good" Benkei chuckled, a bit smugly "He gotta need all the practice to fight my Pal Kyoya"
"You really are underestimating him, Benkei" Kenta said looking at his big friend "Ash isn't weak you know"
"Maybe but Kyoya is stronger" Benkei challenged.
"Come on you guys! Stop fighting" Gingka sighed "We are here for Yu, Tsubasa and Masamune. Ash and Kyoya's fight would be later and we would see who is the stronger blader then"
Both of them nodded sheepishly as they watched the match starting. They saw, as all three participants made their way to the Center where the Bey Stadium was and took their launching position.
"And now it's time for the battle to begin!" Blader DJ yelled "Remember this is an all out Battle so the last Blader still spinning would be the winner"
"I will win this battle!" Masamune growled determined.
"No! I will!" Yu shouted.
"Getting too much confident now are we." Tsubasa said calmly as he connected Eagle with his launcher.
"EVERYBODY READY SET!" Blader DJ yelled.
Tsubasa, Masamune, and Yu prepared to launch their Beys.
"3 . . ." Masamune started.
"2 . . ." Yu next.
". . . 1." Tsubasa last.
"Let it RIP!" The crowd cheered as they launched their Beys.
"Let it Rip!" Ash shouted as he released Ghidorah in the practice stadium. He watched the Bey spin and a small smile came on Ash's face.
"It is ready" Ash thought "I hope you are ready to face me Kyoya. Because I certainly am"
The Bey flashed and Gidhorah's spirit appeared again, surrounded by Dark Aura which is more noticeable.
"Stop resisting me" Kyurem whispered in a growl "With our full potential we could destroy anyone!"
"Shut up!!" Ash growled as he shook his head. How the hell is Kyurem getting so much power and influence over the Fusion and why isn't Zekrom and Reshiram stopping the Ice Dragon.
There was a deep rumbling laughter from the Dragon which felt like thunder Clouds rumbling.
"You really think Zekrom and Reshiram had any powers over me?" Kyurem mockingly hissed "They were part of me before Arceus split our souls apart during the creation of the Material Universe. They would not help you, because they are me!! And now we are reunited again!!"
The Dark Aura grew much darker as it threatened to engulf the room.
"And how much I have waited to be reunited with my two halves again and have my revenge!!" The Dragon hissed "I can't defeat Arceus, he is my father and my creator and he could end me with a thought. But I could always hurt him by having his favorite Human as my pawn!!"
"SHUT UPPP!!" Ash roared as he brought his own Golden Aura to bear. His Golden Aura immediately subdued the Dark Aura of Kyurem and smothered it.
The Dragon cried out in pain as Ash's Aura threatened to burn down his very essense in the Bey.
"Don't forget that you are not in your true form. This Bey only holds a shard of your power and even if you control me you would never achive your true form, not now not ever!!" Ash growled as his eyes flashed Golden "You maybe be God in our World where you have your full power. But here? With only an insignificant part of your Soul shard, you are nothing!!"
The Dark Aura had now completely dissipated into the Bey.
"Remember Kyurem! Here it is I who am the Master! For I am the Chosen One! Not you! " Ash growled "Know your place and don't dare to hurt Reshiram and Zekrom! There is a reason Arceus split your pathetic form into three parts and only they got the good portions of the Soul while you are just an empty husk without any truths or ideals!!"
"One day you will have no choice but to use me!!" The voice screeched one final time before disappearing.
"And that day would never come" Ash said.
"Would you look at that! They are absolutely showing no mercy to each other!!!" Blader DJ's words caused Ash to turn to the TV Screen which was showing the Battle.
Libra, Striker and Eagle were smashing into each other, trying to knock each other from the Stadium.
"Tsubasa is dominating" Ash muttered eyeing the Battle. While Yu and Masamune were trying to take each other and as a result tiring themselves. While Tsubasa is keeping his distance only striking when necessary.
"Can't they see Tsubasa is trying to outlast them or are they too focused to destroy each other to even see it" Ash muttered as he watched the Battle before shrugging and going back to practice "Well looks like this Battle is already decided. I better focus on mine"
With that, Ash began practicing again.
"Go now Striker!" Masamune yelled loudly. His Bey, Ray Striker hit Flame Libra pushing the Bey back.
"Libra counter!" Yu yelled defiantly as Libra smacked into Striker right back.
"Don't forget about me!" Tsubasa said smugly. His Bey, Earth Eagle, flew in like a bird of prey and smacked right into two Beys pushing both of them back.
"Hey! I'll get you back! Go Libra!" Libra charged towards Eagle, but it dodged Libra's attack and smacked it sending Libra hurling towards Striker.
Both Beys collided and stumbled, however Striker recovered.
"Go now Striker!" Masamune yelled as Striker hit Libra, pushing it back from his path "Go after Eagle!!"
"I don't think so!" Tsubasa yelled "Move now Eagle!" Eagle moved to the left making Striker keep going straight and smash into the stadium wall, wobbling.
Masamune gritted his teeth. Tsubasa taunting words coming to his mind. He had to prove the Silver Hair emo wrong.
"Go after it Striker!" Striker kept trying to hit Eagle, but Eagle like a graceful bird, keeps dodging the attacks elegantly.
"Now Eagle! Smashing Claw!" Tsubasa countered as Earth Eagle soared into the sky and dived onto Striker, hitting it and bouncing back in the air and hitting Striker again repeatedly.
"Did you all forget about me!!" Yu shouted "Go Libra!" Libra charged at Eagle. Eagle stopped its attack on Striker and moved to the right elegantly and Libra smashed on Striker again.
"I didn't forget you but thanks for reminding me" Masamune snapped annoyed at Libra's attack "Go Striker!"
Striker attacked Libra and pushed it towards Eagle.
"Go Eagle!" Eagle attacked Libra and like a ping pong Ball, Libra once again smashed into Eagle.
"I am not a punching Bag!!" Yu shouted as he raised his hand "Libra show them your power!!"
The Bey glowed as the Blader's Spirit heard its Master's words.
"Special Move! Sonic Wave!" Libra began to vibrate and send blasts of Sonic Wave which hit both Striker and Eagle forcing them away from it.
"Looks like Yu is showing his fangs people!!" DJ yelled as the Sonic Blasts left craters around the Bey Stadium "Look at the power!!"
"Shit" Tsubasa swore as the sonic waves was demolishing the Field.
"Yu is demolishing the stadium like an earthquake demolishing mountains!" DJ shouted "If this continued then there wouldn't be any stadium left to Battle!!"
"Ohh I will finish it before alright!!" Yu yelled as energy surrounded him and his Bey "Go Libra!!"
A huge coloum of light appeared which seemed to suck everything inside.
"Special Move!! Inferno Blast!!" Yu shouted as a vortex of energy started sucking everything inside.
"Libra is plowing the Competition people!!" DJ shouted "Is this the end of Eagle and Striker?!!!"
In the stands everyone was surprised by Yu's prowess.
"Would you look at that!" Benkei whistled.
"That's some power" Kenta awed "Awesome!!"
"Damm Yu had really buffed up since our last battle" Gingka muttered in awe as he watched the Inferno Blast vortex slowly pulling Eagle and Striker inside of it like a huge Vacuum Cleaner.
"It certainly has" Madoka who was on her Laptop analyzed the Match as well as Yu's past Battles "The Inferno Blast's power had increased at least three times since the Battle Bladers. And not only it's more powerful but also more focused than ever before"
"He really has improved!" Gingka said clenching his fists in excitement. He really wants to battle Yu now.
In the practice Room, Ash glanced at the screen sideways as Yu unleashed his powers.
"What will you do now Masamune, Tsubasa?" Ash muttered before focusing on his practice.
Back in the field, the geyser drew Striker and Eagle to it. They tried to escape but it was all for naught.
"Will it be the Sleep out for Yu!" DJ shouted.
"Not while I have anything to say about it!" Masamune shouted "Go now Striker!"
Striker instead of retreating charged towards the Geyser of Energy. Lightning gathered in its fusion Wheel, cackling with energy.
"Just as we practiced!!Special Move!!" Masamune shouted "Lightning Sword Flash!"
Striker charged at Libra with full power as DJ yelled "Would you look at THAT!! Striker is blazing towards the attack!!"
"Reckless idiots!!" Tsubasa yelled suddenly "Have you forgotten about me??!!"
Eagle suddenly appeared at full speed as with Libra's energy directed towards Striker, Eagle easily overpowered the pull.
"Go now!! Special Move!!" Tsubasa shouted, "Diving Crush!"
Eagle surrounded itself with a bright purple energy and dived straight to Striker.
"Oh no! Look out!" Masamune yelled but it was too late as Eagle slammed into Striker from back throwing it towards Libra's Inferno Blast.
Because of Eagle's throw Striker's momentum, already enhanced by Lightning Sword Flash, was tremendous as it plowed through the Energy Geyser and slammed into Libra, creating an exolosion.
Dust and cloud kicked up causing many to cough and splutter. Two Beys were knocked out of the Stadium and landed outside.
"And there it is people!!" DJ yelled as the smoke subsided showing Eagle still spinning while Striker and Libra are out of the stadium "Both Libra and Striker are out of Stadium!!"
"Eagle is the last one standing folks!" The screen quickly eliminated Yu and Masamune's images and Tsubasa's image was highlighted "Which means that this battle goes to Tsubasa!! He will be the second representative of Japan's international Team!!"
Everybody cheered loud, with Gingka being the loudest.
"All right!!" Gingka cheered "Tsubasa won! Which meant I don't have to hear Masamune's annoying voice again!!"
"Gingka!" Madoka scolded causing the redhead to huff.
"What? You know it's the truth!!"
In the office, Hikaru and Ryo clapped a bit politely.
"Earth Eagle would be a nice addition to our Team, won't it director" Hikaru said.
"Yes" Ryo nodded before his eyes narrowed "Though there is still one round left"
Hikaru typed in her computer which put an hologram of Kyoya and Ashura along with their Beys.
"Kyoya and his Rock Leone is a solid wall for our team" Hikaru said.
"And we know much about him" Ryo said his attention focused on Ash and his Bey "However this guy is something of an enigma for us"
"We don't know anything about him except that he is a looker" Hikaru agreed.
"Control your hormones Hikaru" Ryo admonished.
"Look who is talking about control" Hikaru muttered.
Back in the field both Masamune and Yu were shocked, especially Masamune. Yu was a bit more subdued as he knew that Tsubasa was powerful than him.
For Yu it's still better to lose to Tsubasa than the braggart.
"How?!" Masamune muttered shocked.
"Both of you were too reckless" Tsubasa answered causing Masamune to look at him "You charged head along on an opponent, forgetting that you have more than one enemy. You forgot that this was an all out Battle between three opponents, not an one on one duel"
Masamune bit back a retort. He wanted to shout that Tsubasa cheated by attacking him from the back. But he knows that it would be hypocritical for him to complain as he would have done the same thing.
So he just sighed as he picked up Striker, Yu doing the same with Libra.
"And that's a wrap up for the first round battles folks!" Blader DJ shouted "We will take a ten minutes break to change the Stadium. After which we will be advancing to the Finals of the Qualifying Tournament! So until then Let It Rip!!"
Ash took a deep breath as he recalled Ghidorah back to his hand.
"It is time" Ash whispered his eyes flashing red. Time to show the World what Ashura Ketchum is made of.
He had become the World Champion back in his World and nothing would stop him from doing that again in this World too.
Nothing and now one.
He would become the number 1 Blader.
And Done!
So Ash's Bey is acting again! What would he do?
