Chapter 2

A Century

Of Adventure

Disclaimer: I've thought about this idea off and on for a long while now and recently came to a decision in how I wanted to continue it. As honestly, I just unfortuately don't have the motivation to explore all of what the Doctor got up too after being recruited by the CIA at a young age in multiple chapters. So this chapter will cover all of that. I'm sorry if this disappoints anyone. This also loosely borrows from other Sci-Fi shows as well.

For Theta Sigma, who'd become known as 'The Doctor' after being recruited by a secret organization among his people, accepting their offer had been the best thing he'd ever done in his short life. Having roughly spent a century away from Gallifrey doing this and that for the CIA and occasionally without input from them as he went about in his TARDIS in the distant past of the Milky Way Galaxy. Or Mutter's Spiral as it was also called. His first assignment with the Tulis people had actually lasted over 10 years before he was finally finished and able to move on. Never hiding his appearance from any he came across as he never saw the point and essentially spreading the legend of the being known as 'The Doctor' in the distant past. Pleasing his handlers greatly in the process, even if they would have preferred him to hide his true appearance. During his travels, the Doctor would meet the likes of the Oozaru; an Ape like race capable of increasing their height when a Full Moon arose, the Minbari; a race of beings whose skin was bone like all over, the Orterra; a Tortoise like race that are rather long lived and large in appearance, the Rutans, the Sontarans, the Judoon, and many more.

Of course, the man found the idea of the Rutan-Sontaran War to be utterly ridiculous given how long it'd been going and still going even in his own time. He'd also taken a young Orterran as a Companion for a time as well after re-locating several of them to another planet so that they could colonize it and essentially expand their civilization. Not knowing this would later give rise to the Chelonian race. Now it should be said that not all of what the Doctor did for the CIA had true noble intentions, though a lot of it wouldn't be known to him for centuries and would feel great shame over his involvement to the point he'd cut ties with them. He'd also have an encounter with a being known as the Celestial Toymaker thanks in part to the CIA in the hopes of destroying the being and ultimately failing. Unfortunately, the Doctor's journies would come to an end by the end of the century he'd been gone in his own personal timeline. And it would all start when he'd been sent to a planet where a fellow Time Lord had been staying on for some time.

One who'd been discovered by the CIA to be conducting unethical experiments that were ultimately causing harm to the planet's time line. Unfortunately, as the Doctor would discover, it would be too late to save the planet and its people as the clash between him and the renegade Time Lord would be rather catastrophic and leaving the renegade dead and the Doctor injured. The whole event capturing the attention of the Time Lords themselves and the planet itself would be in flux after everything. Rapidly cycling through its lifetime constantly for several centuries until the Time Lords were able to finally resolve it. The Doctor himself would be in a great deal of trouble with his people for breaking their Laws while the CIA did as they once told him and disavowed all knowledge of him much to his dismay and anger despite having been warned a century ago. But he made no mention of them whatsoever while defending his own actions to the High Council. But sadly, it wouldn't go in his favor and would be stripped of his Regenerations. Granted, he could have cared less if they had left him that or not.

As he disliked the entire notion of Regeneration as it is! He was also exiled from the House of Lungbarrow and from the city itself and banished to the Drylands for as long as he lived. "This is as far as we are willing to transport you, Exile." Sneered one of the Guards who had been left responsible for transporting Theta to the edge of the Capitol.

Getting off the transport with a pained grimace thanks to his injured leg that had not been given medical attention as part of his punishment, Theta stared at his escorts for a moment. "Well, I do hope your manners improve someday as that was atrociously rude of you." Sneers and being spat at was their responses and he shook his head while wondering yet again where his TARDIS was.

Likely figuring the CIA had it stowed away somewhere so it couldn't easily be found. "Get going." Ordered another Guard and Theta turned his attention to the Drylands and sighed heavily before beginning his walk with a pained limp.

And while part of him was dismayed his so called family and friends had refused to stand by him, he was at least heartened by the fact he was no longer being forced into an arranged marriage. Along with the fact that he wouldn't have to abide by his people's ways anymore thanks to his exile. Still, the hurt by it all to his hearts couldn't be denied.
