[Hok] Waste-disposal trains are the only vehicles that go all the way to the dumpyard.
[Kiro] Yeah, but they don't allow passengers. The trains are autonomous.
[Hok] Yeah, that's the "won't be easy" part.
[Saito] It's perfect. We'll be safe inside the train.
[worker] That's the last one. Send 'er up!
[door whirs, thuds]
[Maya] Hold up! One more. I'll lock it down. Zyna can you help me out?
[Zyna] Right up.
[electronic beeps, clicks]
[Maya laughs]
[Zyna, curious] What's so funny about?
[Maya] You'll see… Thanks for being an idiot, whoever you are. Turning you in will definitely get me promoted back up a rank or two.
[Zyna] Umm… I don't think they can hear…
[Kiro] Got her! [grunting]
[Hok] No, wait, I… [Maya kneecapped Hok]
[Saito] Maya, stop!
[Maya] Saito…? Out of all the people on here, you are here?!?!
[Saito] Hold on, let me… [Maya then punches him in the face] Ow!!
[Maya] Security Sound the ala… [grunts angrily]
[Zyna, worried] Maya wait! I'm Zyna by the way.
[The trio] Saito, Kiro, Hok, please to meet you. [Saito] Right! Maya, come on!
[Hok] She's headed to the engine!
[Saito] Don't worry, I got this. Hold on, let me explain! We're on a mission!
[Maya] So am I. To ruin your life.
[Saito] Woah… she is really is that petty.
[Zyna] What happened between the two of you?
[Saito] Let's just say that I accidentally got her demoted.
[Zyna] Explains a lot. [Hok] Dang… [Kiro] Yup!
[yells] [all grunt]
[Saito] Maya, wait. We found a map. We know where… [Maya drops a crate at the group] [Zyna] Watch out!!! [Hok] THIS GIRL IS CRAZY! WHO IS SHE?!?!
[Saito] Dead end, Maya. There's no way… [Maya exits through the ceiling door] Well, she's gone.
[all grunting]
[groans]
[The train is on a vortex]
[Hok] Whoa!
[Zyna] Why? Why am I doing this? Why am I doing this?
[Kiro] Climb faster!
[all groaning]
[Saito] Gotcha!
[Maya] [grunts]
The train exited the vortex, which reveals they entered the Spirit World through the Portal in the heart of Republic City. The group was in awe of the beauty of the realm as it is the first time they visited it.
[Hok] The Spirit World…
[Maya] It's… beautiful.
[Zyna] I am speechless. [Kiro] No kidding.
[Saito] Maya listen to me. We know where the Tree of Life is. And also many interesting things.
[Maya] Oh, sure. And I'm really "the Avatar". I just prefer loading crates of toxic waste. [Saito then shows her the map] Whoa. Where did you get this?
[Hok] From my friend Bruno. Saito killed him
[Zyna] Who? [Saito] I did not kill Bruno. [Kiro] In fact, he was never alive.
[Maya] What?
[Saito, rolling his eyes] Long story short, Bruno was a statue. Hok… has a strong imagination.
[Hok, solemnly] Bruno was more than a statue. He was… a friend.
[Maya, sighing and looking at the map] This map, though… if it's real, this could actually lead us to something big. But why would I trust any of you after all you've done?
[Saito] Look, Maya, I know I messed things up for you back then, but this is different. This isn't just about us—it's about something ancient, something dangerous. We're talking about some creatures named the Oni, and if they're real… we might be the only ones who can stop them.
[Kiro] And if it makes you feel any better, I also don't trust Saito's plans, but here I am. So that's gotta count for something.
[Maya, glancing at Zyna] What do you think, Zyna? Should we follow these clowns into certain doom?
[Zyna] Well… it's not every day you get the chance to explore the Spirit World and find a legendary tree that could save the world. Besides, they seem kind of… sincere?
[Saito] Look. Xiao Jun told us he was going to the Spirit World, and then we found this map through this book. We figured that we could hand deliver it to him or scout the locations ourselves. Whichever comes first. This was too important to wait. It will change all of our lives.
[Maya inhales sharply] No, no, no, no. I'm not going to get demoted again because of you. I'm turning this rig around and I'm notifying the…
[rumbling] [Kiro] Hey, guys? Guys? What is that?
[rumbling swells]
[Zyna] Is it getting bigger?
[Maya] Or closer?
[Hok, scared ran faster to get in the ceiling door while the alarm blares and the group followed Hok]
[rumbling intensifies]
[Hok] Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, so much nope! Are you closing? Don't close. Stop closing.
[The ceiling door closes, much to the group's dismay]
[Hok] It's closed! [Maya] Come on!
[rumbling, alarm continue]
[Kiro] Oh, now I know why no one comes to the Spirit World! Hold on!
[mechanical whirring]
[grunts]
[all exclaiming]
[all yelling]
[yelling reverberates]
[Saito] Maya! [wind blowing] Maya? [Maya groans] You okay? [Proceeds to punch him in the face] [grunting] Could you please stop punching me in the face?!
[Hok, distant] Help! I'm trapped [Zyna] Don't worry we got you! [Hok's upper body is stuck inside the ground with Kiro and Zyna trying to help him get out of it.]
[Maya] Republic… the train! Where's the train?!
[Saito] Relax ok? There it is… and it left. Okay, I was wrong about that. It was going the other w…
[Maya starts in anger so loud that some Dragonfly Bunny Spirits from afar actually hear her scream. When the camera cuts back to her, she's immediately shown taking her anger out punching the rock formations that had stranded them, to begin with.]
[Saito] Dang… ok so… we have this map and from the looks of it… [Maya snatches the map by force] Hey!
[Maya] Now you listen to me, Mr. "Zero Seconds Since My Last Accident"! I'll go on your little quest because I don't have a choice. But I carry the map, I navigate, and if this leads to nothing, then me and Zyna will be dragging you and those two idiots back to Republic City and to the first supervisor depot we see, at which point you will explain everything that's happened, using words that reflect me in a very positive light! Got it?
[Saito, scared at her wrathful stare, does nothing but comply] Okay…
[Maya] Let's go!
[Hok] She's joining us? [laughs eagerly] Fantastic!
[Hok] So Zyna, right? Name's Hok. Wanted to formally introduce myself. There's also a nickname my friends gave me. I don't know. I didn't give it to myself or anything. The nickname's the Blizzard Wolf. It is pronounced… "The Blizzard Wolf". In case you're wondering… [Zyna chuckles] It is cute.
[Hok, deep voice] The Blizzard Wolf! [Zyna giggles] [Hok] You like that, right? [Zyna nods in approval] [Hok, deep voice] The Blizza…
[Maya, annoyed] I'm gonna need you to talk less.
[Hok] Sure! No… Yeah, no problem. What am I talking less about, my nickname? That's fine with me. Got some mountains over here…
[Saito] Hey. You're thinking about what you'll say when you hand the location of the Tree of Life to Xiao Jun, aren't you?
[Kiro] I can't help it.
[Saito] Kiro, we're really doing this.
[Kiro] So glad I'm out here with you. This was a great idea.
