[Hārun] Now you have seen the truth.

[Kiro, heartbroken and in disbelief] Everyday… every single day of my life… has been.. a lie.

[Saito] My god I knew it! Deep down, I always felt something was off. But I've never thought it would be this level.

[Zyna] He deceived everyone…

[Maya, angry at the revelation] Xiao Jun bought himself power and then put us to work paying off his debt.

[Hok, in disbelief] I can't believe it. Well, obviously, I can believe it, I just saw it, but I still… I can't believe it.

[Kiro] Xiao Jun… he lied to my face.

[Saito, frustrated but determined] It was all a sham. How could we have been so gullible? But this… is going to change everything.

[Maya] It could…

[Kiro frustrated and angry after learning the truth stomps over a broken spear] You just had to do it. Didn't you?

[Saito, confused] Me? What did I do?

[Kiro] You just had to go to the spirit world, had to enter the Republic City 5000. You just HAD TO BREAK PROTOCOL!

[Saito] Who cares about protocol?

[Kiro] I I do! I CARE! Because nothing bad happens when you stay on protocol! You don't get hurt, people don't get hurt. But you—no, you just couldn't leave it alone!

[Saito] Xiao Jun has been forcing us to work in the mines until our skeletons break, draining almost the Spirit World dry, and all the while he's been giving the spirit energy away to the Oni for 22 years.

[Kiro sighed in frustration] Ugh, and what do you think he's gonna do to us when he finds out that we know? You think he's just going to let us walk away now that we learned the truth?

[Saito] I'm not thinking about what he's going to do. I'm thinking about what we're going to do! And I am sure as hell we can't just sit here and do nothing.

[Kiro] Well that's the whole thing! You're never thinking about anything else, just yourself. Fantastic! Another Saito master plan! Please, tell me what heroic, reckless idea you've got now, I can't wait to hear this!

[Saito] What are you saying? Don't you even want to stop him?

[Kiro lashes out at Saito] NO, I WANT TO KILL HIM! I want to put Xiao Jun in chains and march him through the mines [The others fall silent, watching Kiro in shock. Hārun, listening from nearby, takes a step back, clearly disturbed by Kiro's rage.] so that everyone can see him for the FALSE AVATAR THAT HE IS! I want him to suffer and then to die in darkness! But we all know that it doesn't matter what I want, right Sai? The fact is, we're just non-bending miners, right? We have limited options, and now… now we have none.

[Hārun] There's a subtle difference between those born with the ability to bend elements and those who aren't. From what I can sense… you were all born with bending abilities. But they've been blocked.

[Kiro, skeptical, shaking his head] Oh, I know myself well enough to say that's impossible. [He attempts to bend, raising his hand in frustration] Look! There's no bending within me!

[Zyna, a mix of shock and hope in her eyes] Are you saying… we were born benders?

[Hok, visibly shaken, almost refusing to believe] No… no way! Not even Xiao Jun could be that cruel. Nobody could do something that heinous… right?

[Hārun, steady and unflinching] He hired bloodbenders to remove your bending abilities… when you were infants.

[A heavy silence falls over the group as the revelation sinks in. Maya clutches her chest, eyes wide with disbelief.]

[Maya, voice trembling] We… we were born with the power to bend… and he stole it from us.

[Saito, his voice barely a whisper, as he stares down at his hands] We were supposed to bend our elements. To feel the strength of our own power. But then…

[Kiro, face contorted with fury, his fists clenched so tight his knuckles turn white] He took them from us. Our birthright. Our power. All so he could control us, use us… like we were nothing.

[Hārun] What defines a bender… is not merely the ability to control the elements. [He grunts slightly, focusing his energy on the group.] It's the spark that resides within your heart. A spark that fuels the will to make your world a better place. That same spark was present in the Avatars of the past.

[He looks each of them in the eyes, his gaze strong and steady.]

[Hārun] I see that strength in you. And so, I will grant you the power to bend your elements. To awaken the potential that was stolen from you.

[With a deep breath, Hārun places his hands over each of them, channeling his Energybending ability. A warm glow surrounds them, and they feel a rush of energy within, as if a dormant part of them is coming to life.]

[Saito, clenching his fists as he feels the earth respond to his movements, now able to Earthbend and Sandbend]

[Kiro, testing his newfound strength in Earthbending and Metalbending, his face a mix of awe and resolve]

[Maya, lifting her hand as she feels the pull of metal, a newfound power in her veins]

[Zyna, her eyes glowing as flames ignite in her hands, Firebending with a newfound sense of purpose]

[Hok, feeling the flow of Waterbending, moving his hands as water responds to his call]

[Hārun, watching them with a quiet pride] Use these gifts wisely. They come with a responsibility—to protect, to heal, to make your world a better place. The spark within you is your guide. Let it lead you toward a future worth fighting for.

[A heavy thud echoes through the cavern.]

[Hārun, alert] They've found us.

[Kiro, with a fierce smile] Oh, yes! Time to fight back!

[Hārun, shaking his head] No. You must return to Republic City and alert everyone. Embedded in this are the records I have shown you. [He hands Saito a small device with the recordings.] Use it to reveal the truth.

[Saito nods, determined] We will.

[Hārun gestures to a nearby tunnel, his voice steady despite his injuries] This tunnel leads to the mountains. The future of both worlds is in your hands.

[Another booming thud shakes the ground. Maya glances back, her face tense.] We're out of time. We have to move!

[The group begins to sprint toward the tunnel, but Saito stops and turns back to Hārun, concern written across his face.]

[Saito] No wait! We can't just leave you here!

[Hārun places a reassuring hand on Saito's shoulder.] Your fight will come, my friend. Raava has a purpose for us all. But this fight… [He glances towards the direction of the approaching enemy as another thunderous boom reverberates through the cavern.] This fight is mine. Now go!

[Saito hesitates, torn between duty and his desire to help Hārun, but finally, he nods with reluctance.]

[Saito] Thank you, Hārun. For everything.

[The group exchanges determined glances, each one silently promising to honor Hārun's gift.]

[A group of androids circles Hārun, weapons raised and ready to fire.]

[Android Commander, smugly] Stand down, old timer.

[Hārun chuckles, his eyes glinting with defiance] Ah. Old, you say? [With a swift motion, he bends a thick fog around himself, shrouding the area in mist. Before the androids can react, he transforms into a massive Sabertooth Wolf, lunging through the fog to dismantle them one by one.] Not too old for you?

[Suddenly, EVAC appears, releasing powerful electric charges that course through Hārun's body, forcing him to collapse in his Sabertooth form, incapacitated.]

[Meanwhile, the group races through the narrow tunnel toward the cave's exit, hearing the chaos behind them.]

[Saito, urging them forward] We need to hurry!

[Kiro, glancing back, tense but stubborn] I still think we have better odds fighting than outrunning them.

[Maya, with sudden realization] Wait! We have bending—we can use our elemental powers now!

[Saito's eyes light up with determination] That's right. Everyone ready?

[Zyna, pumped up] Heck yeah! I was born ready.

[Saito] "On three. One…"

[Before he can finish counting, the ground beneath them suddenly gives way. The group stumbles and tumbles down the mountainside, yelling and grunting as they fall. Far above, a few androids watch impassively, observing their uncontrolled descent from a distance.]

[The group continues to slide down the rocky slope, struggling to regain control as they descend toward the unknown, the weight of their mission pressing on them.]

[The group struggles to regain their footing as they continue sliding down the mountainside, laserfire blazing around them.]

[Kiro, ducking as a laser blast narrowly misses him] Ah! How do we use these things? [He attempts to earthbend, focusing hard but still unsure of his control.]

[Saito, equally uncertain but determined] I don't know. Just try!

[He thrusts his hand forward, managing to kick up a small barrier of sand that deflects a laser bolt.]

[Maya, trying to metalbend a stray rock] "Come on, focus! Just feel it out!

[Zyna attempts a small burst of fire, while Hok raises a wall of water from a nearby stream to block the incoming blasts.]

[Kiro, finally managing to throw a chunk of earth at the androids] It's working! Keep going!

[The group scrambles as they try to use their bending, but the initial attempts are chaotic and ineffective. Saito's sand barrier barely holds before crumbling under the laserfire, Kiro's earth chunks miss their targets, and Zyna's fire fizzles out before it even reaches the androids.]

[Kiro, frustrated] This isn't working! We're just wasting time!

[Maya tries to metalbend, but her hand trembles, and the rock she was aiming for barely shifts.] Come on… why isn't this easier?

[Zyna, panicking] We just got these powers, we're not ready for this!

[Laserfire rains down on them, forcing the group to retreat, stumbling over each other as they desperately try to get out of range.]

[Saito, determined but clearly struggling to focus his bending] We can't give up now. Just… try to feel it! Focus on the element like Hārun said!

[Another wave of androids closes in, surrounding them as the group looks at each other, anxiety written on their faces.]

[Kiro, muttering under his breath] This was supposed to be our chance, and we're blowing it…

[The pressure mounts, and they realize they need to pull it together quickly, or risk capture.]

[Hok] Aaaannndd… Waterbend! [Hok almost successfully used his Waterbending to form a board made of water, only to turn itself into ice] Woah woah woah!!! It turned into ice! Why it had to turn into ice!!!!

[Hok slips on the frozen board, flailing wildly as he tries to keep his balance. His expression is a mix of surprise and panic as he skids across the ice.]

[Hok, shouting] "Whoa! No, no, no—this wasn't supposed to happen!"

[Zyna laughs despite the situation, watching Hok slide around uncontrollably.] "Nice one, Hok! Guess we'll call you the Iceman now!"

[Saito, trying to stay focused] "Hok, just try to go with it! You've got the basics, just… feel it out!"

[Hok, frustrated, muttering to himself] "Feel it out? Easier said than done when you're slipping on your own waterboard!"

[Meanwhile, the androids continue closing in, their weapons charging up as they prepare to fire. Hok finally manages to slide to a stop, panting and looking both annoyed and exhilarated.]

[Maya, encouragingly] Hey, it's a start, Hok! We'll figure this out together. Just… one bend at a time.

[Hok grins sheepishly, nodding as he regains his footing. The team regroups, determination shining in their eyes as they prepare to make another attempt at using their bending powers effectively.]

[Then some Androids appeared in front of the group, which caused them to bend their respective elements successfully. Saito, Maya, Hok and Zyna celebrate in unision]

[grunts, laughs]

[Saito] Oh, wow. We're alive!

[Zyna] I've never moved that fast.

[Maya] That was incredible!

[Hok] Did you see me slide all over?

[Overlapping chatter, while an android prepares to shoot at the group before it gets hit by a giant boulder, destroying it in the process, much to the group's shock]

[Kiro] Yes! [laughing deliriously]

[Saito, worried] Hey, whoa, buddy. You okay?

[Kiro] I'm great. Are you kidding me? We can bend elemental powers! We bend for real!!

[Saito] Oh, hey! I know.

[Kiro] We're wasting time. We have to get back to Republic City.

[Saito] Fair enough. Looks like the fastest way back to Republic City is…

[Kiro, impatiently takes the map] Here, I got it.

[Saito] Hey, what are you doing?

[Kiro] Don't worry, I got it.

[Saito] Yeah, but be careful. Our proof is inside and you're spilling it everywhere.

[Kiro, coldly but quietly responded to Saito] I… got… it.

[Saito, terrified of Kiro's change of behavior] Ok.

[Kiro then calms himself and leads the group] Follow me.

[The group, still riding the high of their successful bending and newfound abilities, exchanges nervous glances as Kiro takes the lead, his demeanor shifting between excitement and a dark intensity.]

[Zyna, whispering to Saito] I mean, he's right about getting back. But… don't you think he seems… different?

[Maya nods, her expression concerned] Ever since we found out what Xiao Jun did, something's changed in him. He's got this… edge.

[Hok chuckles uneasily] Yeah, Sai, he's starting to sound like you on one of your 'no protocol' missions.

[Saito forces a weak laugh, though worry lingers in his eyes] Guess I'm a bad influence. But still… we need to keep an eye on him. This whole truth, it's hit him hard. Can't say I blame him.

[Kiro glances back at the group, noticing their hushed conversation and wary expressions.]

[Kiro, with a forced smile] Come on, don't fall behind! We've got a mission, remember?

[The group exchanges a final uncertain look before picking up their pace, following Kiro down the path towards Republic City. Each step is charged with a mix of excitement for their mission—and an underlying tension about the changes they're starting to see in one of their own.]

[As they disappear into the distance, the remains of the destroyed androids lay scattered, marking the beginning of their journey towards the truth… and the uncertain path that lies ahead for them all. The group spots a small herd of ostrich horses grazing nearby, their majestic, yet slightly wild appearance a reminder of their connection to both the Spirit World and the physical world.]

[Maya] Look, ostrich horses! If we can tame them, they'll get us back faster.

[Zyna] Worth a try. Beats running, right?

[Saito approaches one of the ostrich horses slowly, holding out his hand] Easy, big fella. We're not here to hurt you.

[The ostrich horse snorts, eyeing Saito with a mix of curiosity and caution, but it senses his calm energy and eventually lets him place a gentle hand on its neck.]

[Hok follows suit, gently patting another one.] Hey, I think they're warming up to us!

[Kiro confidently approaches one, who resists at first, but he manages to calm it down with a firm yet gentle touch.] There we go. Nothing to it.

[Soon, each of them has tamed an ostrich horse, and they mount up, preparing to ride out of the Spirit World.]

[Maya] Alright, let's ride!

[The group spurs their mounts forward, and the ostrich horses take off across the surreal landscape of the Spirit World. The horizon stretches ahead, painted with hues of blue and green, and the mystical terrain blurs beneath them as they gallop toward the portal back to Republic City.]

[Saito, looking back at the Spirit World one last time, grips the reins determinedly] This is it, guys. Let's go show the world the truth.

[They charge forward as one, their silhouettes fading into the distance against the shimmering Spirit World horizon, a team bound by a shared mission—and a new power that will change their destinies forever.]

[Back at Republic City, in Xiao Jun's tower, EVAC brought a wounded Hārun to Xiao Jun]

[Hārun, grunting in pain]

[Xiao Jun] Hārun! You're still alive! Look at that! You look… horrible.

[Hārun] Traitor... you are a disgrace… Raava will surely…!

[Xiao Jun] Uh huh, yes shut up. I seized an opportunity to take control of my future. Anything to get out of working for you, Korra and that boring council of elders. Seriously?! I would watch many Avatars spent half a day losing many wars and conflicts, and the other half sitting around waxing poetically about loyalty, harmony and honor. Now look at you.

[Hārun, defiantly stands up to Xiao Jun] Hear my words! You will fall… and the real Avatar will rise…!

[Xiao Jun pointing his scimitar at Hārun, annoyed by his "heroic speech"] There you go again. I don't want to listen to any more speeches. There were others in the cave with you. Who are they?

[Hārun] They are to be your undoing. You've lost, Xiao Jun. Nothing- (Xiao Jun, eye-rolling out of annoyance, proceeds to stab Hārun with his weapon, killing him)

[Xiao Jun] Urgh, didn't I just say no speeches? You heard me, right? This is what I am talking about, unbelievable! All of them are like that! So disrespectful. (Sighs in exasparation) Alright, hunt down the others.

[EVAC] With pleasure. [Proceeds to fly to hunt down Saito and his friends.]

[As EVAC leaves, Xiao Jun watches him go, a smug smile spreading across his face as he wipes Hārun's blood from his scimitar.]

[Xiao Jun, muttering to himself] Hārun… always so noble, so predictable. But nobility is weakness. And now… now there's nothing left to stand in my way.

[He turns back toward the grand window overlooking Republic City, his gaze hardening as he contemplates his next move.]

[Xiao Jun] The real Avatar… as if some miner-turned-rebel could ever stop me. I've orchestrated too much, sacrificed too much to be stopped by a bunch of children. Let them try. The world will soon know the name Xiao Jun… and they will know it in fear.

[Meanwhile at the Spirit World, the group set the ostrich horses go while they continue their journey on foot. Saito then reached out to Kiro]

[Saito] Hey, buddy.

[Kiro] Oh. Hey.

[Saito] You've been a little quiet. Are you all right?

[Kiro] All I can think about is Xiao Jun's smirking face. He must pay for what he's done. Someone has to do something.

[Saito] We are. With Hārun's proof inside that device, we will show everyone the truth.

[Kiro] You honestly believe it'll be that easy? Republic City doesn't want to hear the truth. They worship Xiao Jun. There's got to be a better way to bring him down.

[Saito] We just have to trust everyone will believe what we show them…

[Kiro] I TRUSTED XIAO JUN! With everything. I will never trust a so-called leader ever again. [Saito heard this while being worried for Kiro's behavior] There's only one person I know I can trust…

[Then someone electrocuted Kiro unconsciously, then Saito, later Maya, Zyna and Hok, which they were picked up by some individuals wearing dark red clothing]
