Chapter 115: The Heart of Hope Part 3: Magic Restored

A little while after dinner had gone horribly wrong, the people outside were worried about the Encanto as they saw thunder clouds above the house while inside, everyone was in a panic as Abuela confronted her son-in-law about not coming to her immediately when he saw the vision of Mirabel in front of the house with the cracks all over it while also talking to the ponies about their uninvited guest.

"You should have told me about the vision when you first saw it!" Abuela exclaimed. "Think of the family!"

"I was thinking about my daughter!" Agustín replied.

"Yeah, he was thinking about family!" Rainbow Dash said, flying to their side. "His daughter is family, which you seem to have forgotten!"

"I have not forgotten she is family." Abuela replied, looking to Pepa. "Pepa, calm down."

"I'm trying my best!" Pepa replied, wiping off the snow on her. "You're lucky it isn't a hurricane!"

"Mama, you've always been too hard on Mirabel." Julieta said.

A moment later, another crack appeared next to Abuela, causing her to worry.

"Look around you." Abuela said. "We must protect our familia, our Encanto! We cannot loose our home."

"Hmph, more like you're worried about your miracle and the magic than you are about your family." Rarity responded, turning her head away.

"Yeah, that's not very nice of you grandma!" Pinkie shouted, dangling from the ceiling. "What's the deal!? You only love someone if they have a gift or something and turn away those who don't!?"

As Pinkie said that, the door opened and a man walked in, looking very worried as he walked in.

"Señora." The man said. "Everyone in the town is worried about the magic. They want to see you."

"Mirabel was in that vision for a reason." Abuela said, walking to the door before stopping, turning to look at her family and the ponies. "Find her."

Abuela then left the house, leaving everyone else in the house as some family members started looking for Mirabel as did the ponies, but the ponies were more into wanting to keep Mirabel safe from her own grandmother as they didn't know what she was going to do to her if she was found. Meanwhile in Antonio's room, Bruno had a jar of sand in his hands, pouring it onto the ground to make a circle while Mirabel, Twilight, and Applejack were watching and waiting for him, the young girl growing impatient as she heard the house begin to crumble around them, fearing they were running out of time.

"Um, Tìo Bruno, we may want to hurry this up a bit." Mirabel said.

"You can't hurry the future." Bruno replied, going around a Capybara before sitting down. "I mean, what if I show you something worse? You're gonna be all, 'Bruno makes bad things happen! He's very creepy and he killed my goldfish!'

"Ah that's nothing more than stinkin' thinkin'!" Applejack said, sitting down next to Mirabel. "Ya'll don't make these things happen. The person you see in your visions makes them happen."

"Applejack's right." Mirabel said. "I don't think you made bad things happen. I believe family weirdos get a bad rep."

As she said it, Antonio presented his stuffed animal to Bruno, who took it and was very surprised as he looked to the young boy.

"For your nerves." Antonio said, hopping onto the jaguar and riding it off.

Bruno smiled, finding the gesture to be very sweet and making the ponies smile, a blue light appearing on Mirabel's hand, which Applejack noticed as she looked down, but the light then disappeared as she looked, making the farm mare look to Mirabel and wondering what that light was.

"Alright... I can do this." Bruno said.

He then reached into his Poncho and pulled out some salt, throwing it behind him before lighting a fire, taking the twig that was burning and lighting four individual mounds before crossing his legs and taking a breath, closing his eyes. Outside, the sky was becoming dark, making Abuela look to the sky and see the dark clouds over head, worrying about what was happening as she continued to address the people about the magic. Back in Antonio's room, the wind was picking up as a dark shadow appeared in the room, eveyrone in the circle looking around as everything grew darker.

"What's happening?" Twilight asked.

"You may want to hold on." Bruno said, presenting his hands.

Without waiting another moment, Mirabel took her uncles hands while the ponies just held onto Mirabel, green light appearing in the sand as it then swirled around them, creating a dome of light around them as it showed them the vision Bruno already had, the house collapsing, people running in fear, the mountains splitting and people running in terror, at the center of it was Mirabel, in front of the house as it cracked and then restored itself, repeating the sequence over and over again.

"It's the same vision!" Twilight shouted above the howling wind.

"We need to stop!" Bruno said, wanting to end the vision.

"No, we need to keep going!" Mirabel replied. "There has to be another answer, something we aren't seeing."

"You're looking at the same thing I am." Bruno replied. "If there was something, then-"

"Look, up there!" Applejack exclaimed, pointing to what she was seeing.

In the dome appeared a gold and white light, coming out of the dome to show it was a butterfly, the same kind that was on Mirabel's clothing.

"Butterfly!" Bruno shouted, hopeful at what he saw. "They represent transformation, rebirth, and hope! Follow the butterfly!"

Mirabel and Bruno got up while Applejack and Twilight kept their hooves on Mirabel, walking to the butterfly to show the candle in the window sill, glowing brighter than before.

"What is this!?" Applejack said, trying to hold on.

"It's the candle!" Bruno said. "It want's your help!"

"How?" Mirabel asked as she came into the vision along with someone else.

"It... it looks like you're with someone else." Bruno replied. "It looks like... you're fighting! No, no, hugging?"

"Well which one is it!?" Mirabel shouted, seeing them hug.

"An embrace!" Bruno shouted. "You're embracing someone!"

"But who!?" Mirabel asked, still watching as she saw someone, immediately looking disgusted and angered as she saw it was her sister, Isabela. "ISABELA!?"

As she shouted her sister's name, the vision ended and the dome collapsed, Bruno holding the vision in his hands while Mirabel looked like she was going to kill something.

"Oh, your sister!" Bruno said, looking at the vision. "That's great." He then looked up to Mirabel, who looked beyond annoyed and very, very angry that she needed to hug her sister to save the magic, making Bruno toss the vision away. "Every time."

"Mirabel hun, if hugging your sister will save the magic, it's worth it." Applejack said.

"Ugh, you don't know my sister at all, do you?" Mirabel asked, walking out of the room followed by everyone else. "I mean, why would embracing Isabela do anything? She's a spoiled brat!"

"I have no idea." Bruno replied. "My family got a miracle and how do you save a miracle? You hug your sister."

"Mirabel!" Camilo shouted, walking in before turning into a man with a baby head and hands. "Mirabel!"

"Ok, that is creepy and disturbing." Twilight said.

"And it means we're running out of time." Bruno said.

"No way this will work." Mirabel said. "She won't hug me... ever. She hates me. Also, I don't know if you heard, but they're blaming me for ruining her proposal, like they always do, blame me for whatever has been happening since it all started to go wrong! Plus, she is annoying and I have no idea what her problem is with me in the first place."

"Mirabel!" Bruno whispered, getting her attention. "Oh, sorry, sorry. Look, you're missing the point here. The fate of the family is not up to her, it's up to you."

"Bruno's right sugarcube." Applejack said. "Despite everything they did to ya, ya'll are still family, you just need to show a little love, that's all."

"The orange pony's right." Bruno said. "No matter what they say or think, you are exactly what this family needs. You just need to see it. And do so without me."

Bruno then took the plant he was hiding behind, moving it to the hole in the wall while everyone watched.

"Wait, you're not coming?" Twilight asked.

"It was her vision, not mine." Bruno replied, opening the door.

"You're afraid of Abuela, aren't you?" Mirabel asked.

"Yes, I am." Bruno replied, getting into the wall before turning to look at her. "Hey, after you saved the miracle, don't forget to come and visit. Despite everything, I actually enjoyed your company.

"Tío Bruno, once I saved the miracle, I'm going to bring you home." Mirabel said, making the uncle smile.

He then fell backwards into the hole, closing the door before they all heard the house make some noise, the lights on the doors flickering as the magic was starting to fade as the candle was beginning to get dimmer and dimmer.

"We need to hurry." Applejack said. "Before the magic disappears and the Heart Piece is lost."

Mirabel then looked to Isabela's door, taking a deep breath to psych herself up before walking to her door, turning the handle and opening the door into a room filled with flowers of different varieties, shapes, colors, and species from different regions.

"Issa!" Mirabel exclaimed, walking in with Applejack and Twilight right behind her. "Hey, I know we've had our... issues, but I'm ready to be...a... a better sister... to you! So I think we should hug it out... let's hug it out!"

"Hug it... out?" Isabela asked, coming down on her bed as it lowered. Luisa can't lift an empanada, Mariano's nose looked like a smashed Papaya. Have you lost your mind!?"

"Oh boy, she's angry." Twilight said. "Nothing worse than an angry sibling."

"Try an angry prince who can transform into a dragon." Applejack said, whispering to her.

"Isa, I get the feeling you're upset." Mirabel said, walking to her. "Maybe we should hug and can help cure that and-"

A couple of flowery vines appeared in front of them, surprising Mirabel and the two ponies as Isabela glared at them.

"Get... out!" She said, a flower shooting into Mirabel's mouth to keep her from talking. "Everything was perfect. Abuela was happy, the family was happy. You wanna be a better sister, apologize for ruining my life!"

"Now hold on there you!" Applejack said. "Ya'll are the one who's been mean to Mirabel the entire time you little-"

"Stay out of this!" Isabela said, another flower appearing in Applejacks mouth and silencing her, looking back to Mirabel, a smirk on her face. "Go on... say it."

Mirabel looked like she was ready to kill her sister, the older sibling still smirking at her.

"I... I apologize..." Mirabel said, Isabela looking pleased with herself. "That your life is SO perfect!"

"Out." Isabela said, the vines dragging Mirabel and the ponies out.

"Alright, fine, I apologize!" Mirabel shouted, trying to fight off the vines. I wasn't trying to ruin your life, but some of us have bigger problems than you, you selfish, entitled princess!"

"Selfish!?" She shouted, walking to Mirabel as she was pulled away. "I have been stuck being perfect my entire life and literally, ther only thing you have ever done for me is mess everything up!"

"Hey, ya'll can't blame her for everything happening!" Applejack shouted, the vines pulling them with Mirabel. "Ya'll may have been growing up being perfect, but it doesn't mean ya'll can just look down on your family like a spoiled little brat!"

"All Mirabel has done was be a loving sister to everyone while you... all you did was be cruel and mean to her!" Twilight added. "Mirabel may not have a gift, but the least anyone can do is give her some love and attention she needs instead of treating her like she's a festering blister!"

"Yeah, besides, nothing's messed up!" Mirabel shouted. "You can still marry that big dumb hunk if you want to!"

"I never wanted to marry him!" Isabela shouted. "In was doing it for the family!"

As she shouted it, a cactus appeared between the two sisters, surprising the perfect girl while Mirabel looked shocked and surprised.

"Isa, I'm so sorry." Mirabel said, getting up followed by the ponies once they got out of the vines grasp. "That's a serious confession. I... I didn't know. Look, maybe we should... maybe we should start over, have a fresh start, starting with a hug."

Mirabel opened her arms, hoping to actually start fresh with her sister, but Isabela just stood there, starring at the cactus she made while music started to play, letting them know a song was about to begin.

[Isabela]

I just made something unexpected,

Something sharp, something new!

"Um, Isa, this is the part where we..." Mirabel said, feeling something hit her lightly on the leg, looking down to see Applejack.

"Let her sing." Applejack said. "It'll be good for her... and for you."

It's not symmetrical or perfect,

But it's beautiful and it's mine.

What else can I do?

[Mirabel]

Bring it in, bring it in!

Good talk, bring it in, bring it in! ([Isabela] What else can I do?)

Let's walk, bring it in, bring it in!

Free hugs, bring it in, bring it in!

[Isabela]

I grow rows and rows of roses,

Flor de mayo, by the mile!

I make perfect, practiced poses,

So much hides behind my smile

What could I do if I just grew what I was feelin' in the moment?

[Mirabel and Twilight]

Do you know where you're going? ([Mirabel] Whoa!)

[Isabela]

What could I do if I just knew it didn't need to be perfect?

It just needed to be? And they'd let me be?

A hurricane of jacarandas,

Strangling figs ([Mirabel] Big!), hanging vines ([Applejack] This is fine!)

Palma de cera fills the air as I climb,

And I push through,

What else can I do?

Can I deliver us a river of sundew?

Careful, it's carnivorous, a little just won't do!

I wanna feel the shiver of something new,

I'm so sick of pretty, I want something true, don't you?

[Mirabel]

You just seem like your life's been a dream, ([Isabela, Applejack, Twilight] Whoa!)

Since the moment you opened your eyes.

[Isabela, Twilight]

How far do these roots go down?

[Mirabel]

All I know are the blossoms you grow ([Isabela, Applejack, Twilight] Whoa!)

But it's awesome to see how you rise!

[Isabela, Mirabel, Applejack, Twilight]

How far can I (you) rise?

Through the roof, to the skies,

Let's go!

They then appeared on the outside of the Casita, Isabela letting her powers go as she grew what she wanted to grow, feeling free and alive after so long.

A hurricane of jacarandas (woo),

Strangling figs (go), hanging vines (grow),

Palma de cera fills the air as I climb!

And I push through,

[Isabela]

What else, what else?!

[Isabela, Mirabel, Applejack, Twilight]

What can you do when you are deeply, madly, truly in the moment?

([Mirabel] Seize the moment, keep goin'!)

Int he town, the plants that were growing across the casita appeared in the town, taking everyone by surprise, but horrifying Abuela, looking to the house and seeing a cloud of color, fearing the worse as she rushed home.

What can you do when you know who you wanna be is imperfect?

[Isabela]

But I'll still be okay!

[Mirabel, Applejack, Twilight]

Hey, everybody clear the way, woo!

[Isabela]

I'm comin' through with tabebuia, ([Mirabel, Applejack, Twilight]She's comin' through with that boo-yeah!)

Making waves ([Mirabel, Applejack, Twilight] Making waves), changing minds ([Mirabel] you've changed mine!),

The way is clearer 'cause you're here, and well,

I owe this all to you,

What else can I do?

Isabela then hugged her sister, finally seeing her as a sister rather than a nuisance, Mirabel looking to the candle and seeing it was glowing brighter than every before, not noticing the symbol on her hand glowing a bright blue, sending a wave of energy into the house as the cracks began to repair themselves, saving the magic.

[Mirabel]

Show 'em what you can do!

[Isabela]

What else can I do?

[Mirabel, Applejack, Twilight]

There's nothing you can't do!

[Isabela]

What else can I do?

As they finished the song, they all swung on a vine and launched into the air and landed into a pile of flowers, laughing and actually having a good time, finally being sisters and having a laugh instead of being complete strangers, Isabela looking to Mirabel.

"You know sis, you're kind of a bad influence." Isabela said, making them both laugh.

"What is going on!?" Abuela shouted, coming in and seeing the condition Isabela was in.

"Abuela, it's ok!" Mirabel said, the four of them getting up. "We're saving the magic... the miracle..."

"What are you talking about!?" She asked. "Look at our home! Look at your sister!"

"Abuela, please, Isabela wasn't happy." Mirabel said.

"Of course she isn't happy!" Abuela exclaimed. "You ruined her proposal!"

"Now hold on there granny!" Applejack exclaimed, getting in between them. "Ya'll don't go around blaming her for that! Not when Isabela wasn't happy to marry somepony she didn't love!"

"Exactly, Isabela didn't want to marry Mariano!" Abuela said. "And we did all this..."

"Mirabel." Abuela said, trying to keep calm.

"And the candle burned brighter and the cracks repaired themselves!" Mirabel continued. "Like how I saw in the vision, I am saving the miracle."

"You have to stop Mirabel!" Abuela shouted, surprising everyone as they came in. "The cracks started with you, Bruno left because of you. Luisa is loosing her powers, Isabela is out of control..."

"Hey, this isn't her fault!" Twilight said.

"All because of you!" Abuela continued, looking at Mirabel. "I don't know why you weren't given a gift, but it is no excuse for you to hurt this family!"

"Her... hurting the family!?" Rainbow Dash shouted, flying next to Mirabel. "Didn't you see how happy Isabela was to do all of that!? The smile on her face to do what she wanted without being perfect!?"

"Not to mention how dazzling it all was." Rarity said, walking past Abuela and standing next to Mirabel. "The colors, the show, the song, it's looked to me like she was helping your family rather than hurting it."

Pinkie and Fluttershy then walked next to Mirabel again, the six ponies showing they supported for Mirabel, but the damage was already done, Mirabel looking miserable as a tear rolled down her cheek, cracks appearing on the ground.

"I... will never be good enough for you... will I?" Mirabel asked. "No matter how hard... I try..." Sher then looked to her family, seeing how unhappy they were before looking to her grandmother. "No matter how hard... any of us try... Luisa will never be strong enough. Isabela will never be perfect enough. Bruno only left because you saw the worst in everything!"

"Bruno didn't care about this family!" Abuela replied.

"He loved this family." Mirabel said, a red light appearing on her right hand, which everyone finally noticed, surprising Abuela as the cracks appeared, this time more violently. "I love this family, we all love this family! It you who doesn't care about this family! You're the one who's breaking our home!"

"Don't you ever!" Abuela shouted.

"The miracle is dying because of you!" Mirabel shouted.

Abuela was caught completely off guard, looking horrified as a massive crack appeared on the ground between them, the red light glowing brighter than ever, which caused the candle to turn blood red and summon the symbol, the massive dragon's head appearing as the triable spun, everyone looking at it in horror.

"Conditional love destroys the bonds of family." Th symbol said. "Toxic perfection degrades relationships of family and friends. A miracle of love shall fade and with it, a home of hope shall be unmade. Alma Madrigal, for you are the one who destroys the miracle when your love is replaced by the need for the magic of everyone's gift, for without unconditional love the magic will have a negative shift. A miracle was given because of love, but it shall be taken away, and your home will be destroyed, the ruin sent above!"

The cracks then continued to form as the candle fell onto the window sill, everyone gasping as they saw it fall.

"Everyone out, now!" Twilight shouted. "Rainbow, We need you to... MIRABEL!"

They watched as Mirabel ran past them and head towards the wall that held the candle as Isabela and Camilo ran after her.

"Casita, get me up there!" Mirabel shouted.

The house then broke off a railing and it fell down, making a makeshift ladder for her to climb up as she went for the candle. Isabela used her powers to call a vine to swing up there, but her door went dark, the vine turning to dust as she fell. Camilo ran across the balcony, using his shape shifting abilities to turn to different people to avoid being crushed before leaping to the roof, but his door went dark as well and lost his powers as well, falling to the ground as the house moved the floor to get everyone out of the collapsing house.

"Mirabel, get out of there!" Applejack shouted, jumping over the floor as she followed the same route she used to get up. "It's too late sugarcube! You need to get out now!"

"Not without the candle!" Mirabel replied. "I can still save the miracle!"

She managed to reach the window sill with the candle on it, but it was too high for her, so the house tried to help elevate her, reaching over just enough to get the candle before a red and black hand grabbed her arm, making her look to see it was Vanitas.

"Not so fast there little girl." Vanitas said. He then threw her off the roof, watching as the house created stairs and slanted them to be a slide, the poor girl still holding onto the candle while he just leapt to the ground, landing with no effort, summoning his Keyblade as he walked over to Mirabel, who was frozen with fear as he approached. "Now, be a good little girl and give me the candle."

"Vanitas!" Applejack shouted, leaping at him with her Keyblade out and clashing against his, the dark warrior pushing her back as she skidded to a halt, glaring at him. "Yal'' are not gonna hurt her ya varmint!"

"Really now, all I want is a candle for my nightstand when I read at night." Vanitas said. "What's the harm in that?"

"I don't care if yer a reader or not, ya'll are not gettin' that candle!" Applejack replied.

She then charged forward and released a fire spell, a ball of fire heading towards Vanitas, but he smacked it away before slashing upward, striking a serious hit against the farm mare as she fell to the ground, injured, but still alive. Vanitas turned to continue to approach Mirabel, but the house then pushed him back, causing him to fall down while using the furniture to cover Mirabel, the building collapsing around them as Applejack got up, looking up and curb=ling into a ball to protect her head and vital organs, the building collapsing on top of all of them, but Mirabel was left unharmed, covered in dust, but unharmed, holding the candle as it's flame went out, her last chance to save the magic vanishing as she dropped the candle.

"Mirabel!" Julieta said, running up. "Mirabel, are you hurt?" Mirabel just looked at her mother, shaking her head to let her know she wasn't hurt while the everyone else came in to do what they could to salvage what they could while also digging for Applejack. "Don't move, I'll be right back."

Julieta rushed over Tío do what she could to help, hoping to find something to help her daughter, but Mirabel looked to her family, seeing how upset some of them are but saw how desperate and worried the ponies were, running into the ruins to find their friend while also seeing how destroyed her grandmother was, seeing her sad and broken, looking at the ruined remains of her home only broke Mirabel's heart. Julieta found something to help with the injuries and turned back to help her daughter, but Mirabel wasn't there, her heart dropping into her stomach when she saw she wasn't there.

"Mirabel!" Julieta said. "Mirabel, where are you!?"

At the edge of the canyon, the mountain was split in half, creating a way out for anyone who wanted to leave, which was what Mirabel was doing, running to it and squeezing through as she ran away from her home, not noticing a small purple light was following her, taking the shape of a butterfly as it flew after her. As for Applejack, she was curled up in a ball, pinned underneath rubble as she cracked her eyes open, wanting to call out for her friends to find her, but she when she tried to move the debris, it started to fall all around her, causing the ruins to shift and make it worse, causing the farm mare to close her eyes and cover her head again, squeezing her eyes as the dust fell around her, praying to make it out. When she opened her eyes again, she found it was complete darkness, followed by some multi colored lights coming from underneath her, so she looked down and saw she was standing on a stain glassed pillar, an image of her lying against a tree with her hat tilted backwards and her friends images appearing in apples with one of them larger than the rest, an image of her colt friend in the apple. The farm mare got up, looking around and wondering where she was, thinking she was crushed underneath the rubble and started to feel despair, a tear rolling down her cheek as feared the worst.

"Don't worry AJ, you're not dead." A familiar voice said, making Applejack's heart leap with joy. She turned around to find Spyro was sitting nearby, tuning a guitar while wearing a cowboy outfit. "At least, not yet."

"Spyro!" Applejack said, running up to him and hugging him, which he returned the hug. "Ah... Ah can't believe it."

"Believe it my little Apple fritter." Spyro said. "It's good to see you again."

"You as well hun." Applejack replied, breaking up the hug. "But... where the heck am Ah?"

"In your heart." Spyro replied. "This platform represents your heart, where your light is held."

"But... why am Ah here?" Applejack asked. "How'd Ah get here?"

"I summoned you." Spyro replied, playing the guitar and playing a pleasant tune. "You see, I couldn't stand by and watch you get crushed, plus I didn't like seeing Vanitas hurt you, so I came to help."

"Help?" Applejack asked. "How?"

"By sharing my power with you." Spyro replied, surprising her.

"You... share your power with me?" Applejack asked. "That's a new one. Isn't it us that lends you our powers or somethin' like that?"

"Usually, yes." Spyro replied, still playing the tune. "When we fuse, you share your powers with me, granting me incredible power, but now this time, I'm lending you my power. However, there is something you need to know before you agree to it." He then stopped playing the tune and sat up, taking off the hat and sitting up, facing her. "You see, when I was in the World of Marvels, when I held the time stone, I saw millions upon millions of branches in the future, all of them bad, each leading to the same thing, your girls deaths."

"We... die?" Applejack asked, turning pale as she fell backwards. "How?"

"Malefor." Spyro replied. "He uses a spell to make you all old, making you die of old age. I found a way to make myself stronger, letting me reach stage three without waiting years for it to happen, but it required me to loose my heart, as you girls well know and i found a way to keep you safe, but it must be your choice."

"Mah choice?" Applejack asked.

"You see, when I share my power with you, it will make you strong enough to allow for us to fuse again, but it also means you charge my burden and mmy curse." Spyro replied, making her heart race. "My curse is eternal life, immortality. That's why it has to be your choice if you want to accept my power or not because you will be forever young, watching your family grow old and pass without you, watching your friends pass one by one until they're all gone. An eternity of suffering. Hence, why I'm giving you this choice AJ. Only you can-"

"Spyro, Ah already made mah decision." Applejack said, cutting Spyro off and surprising him. "Ah know from Rarity and twilight that yer immortal, able to live forever until you find somepony worthy enough for yer fancy magic. But Ah don't care what it takes. Ah'll bear any curse or spell or whatever to bring ya back sugarcube. And if doin' this brings me once step closer to bringin' ya home, then Ah'll bear it all, no matter what it is."

Spyro then smiled at her, picking the guitar up and played another tune, Applejack walking over to him as he played, giving her a peck on the head as a light shined between them, the platform shining as well as orange and red light shot out of the platform and into the sky, enlightening the place as it became brighter and brighter. In the real world, Mirabel's family was looking for her, worried sick about her and for her safety as they didn't know if Vanitas survived or not, the ponies still digging through the rubble to find their friend and praying she was still alive. As the family was searching, Abuela had traveled to the mountain that was split in two, walking through it and finding a piece of her clothing on the ground, following it and her tracks and finding a piece of yarn and following it towards the river, where she found her granddaughter sitting near a lake with her knees tucked together, crying as she failed to save the magic.

"Mirabel." Abuela said, approaching her.

"I'm sorry." Mirabel said, wiping away a tear. "I didn't want to hurt anyone. I didn't want any of this. I... I just wanted to be something... I'm not."

Mirabel then started crying again, her Abuela seeing her granddaughter was truly hurt and was so sad, finally realizing her own mistake as she walked towards her, sitting next to her on the log before looking to the river they were at.

"This river..." Abuela said. "I have never been able to return here. For this... this is where we received our miracle... our Encanto."

"Where Abuelo Pedro died?" Mirabel asked, looking to her grandmother.

"I thought we could have a different life." Abuela replied, looking to the river. "I thought I would be a different woman."

That's when music started to play as Abuela remembered when she first met her husband, hearing his song as the guitar music played in her mind, remembering the words of her love.

[Pedro]

Dos oruguitas enamoradas,

Pasan sus noches y madrugadas.

Llenas de hambre,

Siguen andando y navegando un,

Que cambia y sigue cambiando,

Navegando un mundo!

Que cambia y sigue cambiando!

Dos oruguitas paran el viento,

Mientras se abrazan con sentimiento,

Siguen creciendo, no saben cuándo.

Buscar algún rincón,

El tiempo sigue cambiando,

Inseparables son,

El tiempo sigue cambiando!

[Chorus]

Ay, oruguitas, no se aguanten más,

Hay que crecer aparte y volver,

Hacia adelante seguirás!

She remembered the moment her husband sacrificed himself, him kissing his children and then his wife, showing he loved her before crossing the river again, sacrificing himself for his family and his community.

As Mirabel looked to her grandmother, she then saw what happened, watching as her grandfather was killed and her Abuela cried out in agony, having lost the man she loved right as a light went into the candle, a pattern of butterflies appearing on it as a golden light shined in the candle, the symbol appearing in the flame and shooting out, releasing a single golden dragon that roared out and unleashed a wave of pure power, sending the bandits into the sky before the mountains grew around them, creating a protective barrier that kept out all the evils that would harm them and future generations to come. As the barrier was made, a golden figure appeared before her, revealing to be Spyro, extending a hand to her, which she took and helped her up, smiling at her before lifting the candle up and giving it to her.

"This candle will protect you, your family, and your community." Spyro said. "It will grant your family magical gifts. But remember, love your children and grandchildren, whether they have a gift or not."

He then disappeared, leaving the woman alone as the symbol appeared in the candle's light, going into the candle as it continued to burn. She then followed her community, where the house was built magically and she looked down at her children, promising to make sure the miracle would never be lost, walking down a dark corridor and past her family, each standing next too a door.

Dos oruguitas, desorientadas,

En dos capullos, bien abrigadas.

"I was given a miracle." Abuela said. "A second chance. And I was so afraid to loose it, that I forgot who it was meant for." She then hugged her granddaughter, a tear rolling down her face as she finally realized what she had done. "You were right Mirabel. You never hurt our familia. We are broken

Con sueños nuevos,

Ya solo falta, hacer lo necesario,

En el mundo que sigue cambiando.

Tumbando sus paredes...

Mirabel could see how hurt her grandmother was, seeing how much pain she had inside of her and seeing ow fearful she was, fearing that if they lost their miracle, letting that fear consume her to the point she lost sight of what was more important to her, her family. Mirabel looked to the river, watching the water go by as she thought of it as the place her grandfather lost his life when she saw a butterfly, flying onto some grass in the middle of the river, which was the same thing she saw in her vision, finally seeing this was the place where the miracle can be saved, realizing it was her grandmother she needed to truly embrace, getting up and walking into the river.

"Abuela..." Mirabel said, getting her attention. "I can finally see." She held out her hands, her Abuela taking her hands as her granddaughter guided her to the river, in front of the purple butterfly she saw. "You lost your home... you lost everything. You suffered so much, all alone, for all these years, so that it would never happen again." She used her thumbs to rub her grandmother's hands, smiling at her as the symbol appeared on her hand again, glowing a faint purple. "We were given a miracle because of you. We were given a family because of you. We are a family because of you. And nothing can ever be broken, that can't be fixed, together."

Ahí viene nuestro milagro ([Chorus] Nuestro milagro.),

"I asked Pedro for help." Abuela said, cupping her granddaughters face in her hands, smiling at her. "And he sent me to you."

Nuestro milagro! ([Chorus] Nuestro milagro!)

The two of them then hugged, finally letting their hearts open up to one another as they became a family, a proper family and as they embraced, the symbol on Mirabel's hand glowed brighter and brighter, Mirabel feeling a weird sensation on her hand, so she stopped the hug and looked, finding the symbol on her hand glow so bright it released a golden light, butterflies flying around them as the music picked up again.

Ay, mariposas, no se aguanten más,

Hay que crecer aparte y volver

Hacia adelante seguirás!

Ya son milagros, rompiendo crisálidas,

Hay que volar, hay que encontrar,

Su propio futuro!

Ay mariposas, no se aguanten más,

Hay que crecer aparte y volver,

Hacia adelante seguirás!

Ya son milagros, rompiendo crisálidas,

Hay que volar, hay que encontrar,

Su propio futuro!

The butterflies flew around the two women, both watching as they flew around them until they started to fly back to the mountain, flying through the crack and letting them know they needed to go back home.

Ay mariposas, no se aguanten más,

Hay que crecer aparte y volver,

Hacia adelante seguirás!

Ya son milagros, rompiendo crisálidas,

Hay que volar, hay que encontrar,

Su propio futuro!

The grandmother and granddaughter hugged each other, looking to the mountain, knowing they can restore their miracle together, but their moment was then ruined when they heard someone clap, turning to see Vanitas walking to them through the river, Abuela getting in front of Mirabel to protect her.

"Bravo, bravo." Vanitas said. "You have officially made this the most heart warming and most sickening thing I have ever seen in my life."

"Mirabel, run!" Abuela said. "Don't look back!"

Vanitas snapped his fingers and from the water, a few Water Cores and some Archravens appeared, surrounding them both as Abuela held onto. Mirabel, the symbol glowing bright enough to create a protective barrier around them both.

"So it wasn't in the candle." Vanitas said, approaching the barrier, scrapping his Keyblade along the force field. "It was in you... all along."

"Please, let mí nieta go." Abuela said. "She's done nothing to you."

"Oh, I'll leave alright." Vanitas said, stopping in front of them. "But only after I get what I came for."

He then took his Keyblade away, spinning a three-sixty and striking the dome, shattering it with one slash, knocking then both into the river, Mirabel lookign to her Abuela, who was surrounded by a couple of Water Cores and the ravens, leaving a clear path for Vanitas to approach her. At the house, the ponies were still clearing up the ruined building, hoping to find their friend, Rainbow Dash lifting a large slab and pushing it away, continuing to dig through to find Applejack.

"AJ, please, please be alright." Rainbow Dash plead. She then reached for the next slab to lift up, but it then suddenly started to shake, surprising the Pegasus as she backed away, believing she found her. "Girls, over here! I think I found her!"

The ponies and the Madrigals stopped what they were doing, rushing towards the surprised Pegasus, hoping she had found Applejack when the stone exploded outward, Rainbow Dash being sent into Félix as a pillar of orange light shot into the air and from it, a purple dragon shot out of it and roared out, following the pillar up as an orange ethereal earth pony circled the pillar as well, both going around it together as the pillar then bent towards the broken mountain, the two ethereal beings following the column of light to the mountain. At the river, Mirabel had gotten out of the water and was trying to run away, returning tot he shore before a massive water bomb was sent by a Water Core and hit the ground, causing her to fall to the ground, uninsured, but disoriented as she crawled away, Vanitas walking up behind her with his Keyblade raised.

"Don't worry little girl, this won't hurt... much." Vanitas said.

"Mirabel!" Abuela shouted.

A moment later, they heard a dragon roar out and look to the sky to see what it was, the orange column of light hitting the space between Mirabel and Vanitas and sending the dark Keyblade warrior back into the water, looking at the orange column before looking up and seeing the dragon and Earth pony in the air, circling the column before colliding with one another, releasing a bright light and blinding everyone who was looking, destroying the Water Cores and the Archravens as the light shined. Once the light dimmed down a bit, they looked to see what was happening, finding that there was something in the light, walking out of the column to reveal a figure wearing orange and purple armor while also wearing a cowboy vest and boots, spurs on the boots. On the armor on the left side was the dragons head, eyes glowing purple while on the right was the earth pony heads eyes glowing green, the belt having a lasso and a ring of bullets around the belt with a star shaped belt buckle, Applejack's hat flying in before the man reached out his hand, grabbing the hat and putting it on his head, which had a pony shaped helmet already there, the man looking up and smiling at Vanitas.

"It's high noon." The man said, the voice sounding both Spyro and Applejack.

"Uh, it's actually morning." Mirabel said, making Spyro look at her.

"How?" Vanitas asked, getting up and pointing his blade at them. "You... you're not supposed to do that. How?"

"Did you forget who I am little man?" Spyro asked, the combined keyblades appearing in his hand, the purple in the left and an orange one with the teeth being red at the tip and turning to orange in the middle before turning green at the end, the guard a red ring, pointing it at Vanitas. "I'm the Prince of Light and Darkness. I defy logic."

Without waiting, Vanitas charged at Spyro and swung, but Spyro blocked the attack and countered the attack, knocking Vanitas back before slashing upward, knocking him into the air, throwing both blades at once and hitting the dark warrior, the blades bouncing off him and back to Spyro, taking them in his hands as Vanitas fell back into the water, getting up and charging at Spyro, swinging the blade, but it just bounced off the armor, not leaving a dent on it, surprising Vanitas.

"What!?" He asked.

"What's a matter sugarcube?" Applejack asked. "No meat on them spaghetti arms to do any damage?"

Annoyed by that, Vanitas charged again, launching different spells at the combined duo, but they just dodged the spells, deflected, or allowed them to hit and didn't receive any damage at all, sprinting towards the dark warrior and striking him in the chest, causing him to stagger backwards before locking their blades, breaking the lock and exchanging blows, blocking and deflecting attacks, the fused warrior spinning and bouncing around, blocking and returning attacks. One such attack was another blow to the chest, making him collapse and yell in pain as the light shined out. Spyro then turned around, looking to Vanitas as he got up, covering the gash as he shakily got up, glaring at the combined warrior while using his Keyblade to support himself.

"Y-you... you really think this means anything?" Vanitas asked. "I will get the Heart Piece... and you will never return to this universe!"

"Yeah, yeah, can we hurry this up already?" Spyro asked. "Because the trash gets picked up today and I want you to be wrapped up and ready to go when they arrive."

"Oh, you got jokes, do you?" Vanitas asked. "Well here's a punch ling for you!"

A dark liquid was released from his hand, traveling down his Keyblade and into the water, red eyes appearing in the dark liquid as it shot up into the air and from it, arms, legs, and a torso shot out of the muck, revealing to be a Trinity Armor, looking down at him while Spyro whistled.

"This thing remind me of the Guard Armor Heartless." Spyro said, starring at the massive behemoth. "Except, in my opinion, this thing looks way better and much cooler than a Guard Armor."

"Now's not the time to be admiring the thing Sugarcube!" Applejack said, rolling out of the way of its attack. "We got a fight on our hands here."

As they charged towards the massive Unversed, Vanitas turned to Mirabel, trying to walk towards her, but the damage done to him was too severe, collapsing on the ground as particles of darkness appeared from him, looking up and glaring at the terrified girl.

"Just give me the Heart Piece." Vanitas said. "Give it to me!"

Vanitas reached out towards Mirabel, who scooted away from him from him as he reached out to grab her, but Vantias felt himself float into the air before being yanked away from Mirabel, flying towards Spyro as he slashed through his stomach, making the dark Keyblade warrior yell out in pain as he hopped along the water, landing on the other side of the river before turning his attention to the Trinity Armor, dodging it's arms as it swung for a punch before running towards the legs, slashing at them first as he leapt up and threw the blades, both covered in purple and orange light as they hit the legs, causing the it to shuffle backwards as it tried to regain it's balance before Spyro came over, slamming his foot into the ground and creating a massive tree that grew and the roots wrapped around it's legs, preventing it from escaping as he brought the two blades together, golden light filling the empty spaces in the blade as he rushed forward, slicing through the roots and legs and destroying them, releasing green orbs as it separated into it's torso and it's arms, the arms combining and turning into a little helicopter.

The two remaining pieces flew down and unleashed a line of electricity, flowing between them as they circled the arena, which Spyro leapt into the air to dodge the electricity before running towards the arms, sliding underneath them and thrusting the orange blade up, cutting through it as he leapt into the air and threw the purple blade, cutting the arms in half and leaving only the torso, which was angry as it shot laser bolts everywhere, Abuela finding cover behind a rock while Spyro got in front of Mirabel, using the Keyblades to deflect and reflect the attacks back to the Torso, stunning it as he brought the blades back together, the golden light shining between the gaps of the blade, running towards the torso as he was surrounded by orange energy, the Ethereal pony around him as it galloped towards the Unversed, leaping into the air as the energy went into the Keyblade, slashing through the middle of the Torso, an orange line appearing in the middle of it as it started cracking, light shining out of it and exploding into dozens of pieces, Spyro landing in the water as it's remains turned to dust behind him.

"Looks like he went to pieces." Spyro said.

"Ugh, Spyro that has got to be one of your more awful jokes." Applejack said.

"Hey, can't blame a guy for trying." Spyro replied. He then turned to face Vanitas, who was struggling to stand as he started to fade into nothing, glaring at Spyro as he stood up. "As for you Vanitas, looks like you're on your last legs. Want me to put you out of your misery?"

"Enjoy your victory while you can little prince." Vanitas said. "You may have won this round, but the war is far from over. There are other heart Pieces out there waiting to be taken!"

A corridor then opened up behind him and with the last of his strength, he limped through it and the darkness closed behind him, leaving the three people alone at the river while Spyro dismissed his Keyblade, turning to Mirabel and Abuela as they hugged one another again.

"Thank you for protecting my Abuela and I." Mirabel said.

"No problem Mirabel." Spyro said, walking to her.

"Who... are you?" Abuela asked.

"My name is Spyro." He replied. "Pleasure to finally meet you, however short our encounter maybe."

"Wait, that voice..." Mirabel said, recognizing it. "You're the one from when our family got our miracle!"

"Yes Mirabel, I am." Spyro replied. "When your grandfather sacrificed himself to make sure your family had a future, it was one of the ultimate forms of love, love that was pure and true. To honor his noble sacrifice, my Heart Piece entered the candy;e and created the safe haven for your family and your community while also granting your family their gifts."

"Wait, ya mean...?" Applejack asked, surprising Mirabel and Abuela.

"Yes AJ, their gifts were coming from my powers." Spyro replied, shocking them. "Luisa got superhuman strength, Bruno could see the future, Isabela can grow plants, Antonio can talk to animals, Dolores can hear everything, Pepa could control the weather, Camilo cam shapeshifter, and Julieta could heal any injury."

"But... what about me?" Mirabel asked. "Why didn't I get a gift?"

"Because you already had it Mirabel." Spyro replied, putting his hand on her shoulder. "Love. Pure, unconditional love is your gift. For love was the fuel that gave your family their powers, but when that love started to fade, the Heart Piece needed to find somewhere else to hide, so it hid in you, Mirabel." He then took her hand, holing it before opening them to reveal a blue flower in it, a butterfly landing on it. "For when you have love, you have hope."

"Well, lot of good my love did us." Mirabel said. "Casita is gone."

"Not exactly." Spyro replied, getting her attention. "The magic is still there, in you Mirabel. A house can always be rebuilt, but a life can never be restored. Rebuild your home Mirabel, restore the magic, and reveal the Heart."

He removed his hands as he started to glow, disappearing as Applejack took his place, her hat falling onto her head as she looked up to Mirabel and Abuela, relieved to see they were ok.

"Applejack..." Mirabel said, hugging her. "I'm glad you're ok."

"And Ah'm glad ya'll are alright too sugarcube." Applejack said.

"She didn't do this!" Bruno shouted, riding a horse as he came through e brush, hopping down, but getting stuck on the reigns. "She didn't do any of this! I gave her a vision and was like go. I don't care what you think of me, but if you're too stubborn to-"

He was then cut off by his mother, who hugged him and surprised him in an instant.

"Don't need to." Abuela said.

"I feel like I missed something very important here." Bruno said.

"Come on, we'll fill ya in on the way." Applejack said.

"And, where exactly are we going?" Bruno asked, everyone but Applejack hopping onto the horse.

"Home." Mirabel replied.

They then took off in the direction of the split mountain, Bruno hanging on for dear life while Applejack followed closely behind them, galloping after them, as they made their way back to the ruined Casita. When they arrived at the ruined home, they saw how terrible it looked, broken stone and splintered wood, barely anything salvageable from it as they approached, Mirabel getting off the horse as Applejack came up.

"Mirabel!" Julieta shouted, rounding a corner with Rainbow Dash and Twilight, finding the group together. "Mirabel!"

"Applejack!" Rainbow Dash and Twilight shouted. They all ran up to their family and friends, Julieta hugging her daughter while Rainbow Dash and Twilight hugged their friend, the others coming around and seeing Applejack was alright.

"Mirabel, I was so worried." Julieta said. "When we couldn't find you, we got so worried."

"AJ, we're so releaved you're ok." Twilight said, breaking the hug up. "We thought you were crushed by the stone, but..."

"But when we saw that pillar, we knew immediately you are ok!" Rainbow Dash finished. "Not that I was worried or nothing."

"Heh, still tryin' to play cool, huh Rainbow?" Applejack asked, giving her a nudge.

"Well, glad everyone is alright and all, but... what now?" Camilo asked. "We don't exactly have a home."

"We can rebuild." Mirabel replied, confusing them.

"She's right." Applejack said. "We can rebuild this place and make it new again."

"And how exactly do we do that?" Camilo asked.

Mirabel then looked back to the ruined home, music starting to play as she approached the arch that was still standing, turning to her family.

[Mirabel]

Look at this home, we need a new foundation.

It may seem hopeless, but we'll get by just fine.

Look at this family, a glowing constellation.

So full of stars, everybody wants to shine.

[Twilight Sparkle]

But the stars don't shine, they burn,

And the constellations shift.

[Mirabel]

I think it's time you learn,

You're more than just your gift.

[Abuela]

And I'm sorry I held on too tight,

Just so afraid I'd lose you too.

The miracle is not some magic that you've got,

The miracle is you, not some gift, just you...

Abuela turned around and standing behind her was Bruno, who Julieta and Pepa looked happy to see, running up to hug him.

The miracle is you. ([Julieta, Pepa] All of you, all of you!)

[Camilo]

Okay, so... we gonna talk about Bruno...?

[Antonio]

That's Bruno?

[Rainbow Dash]

Seriously?

I was expecting someone scarier.

[Bruno]

Yeah, there's a lot to say about Bruno,

I'll start, okay!

Pepa, I'm sorry 'bout your wedding, didn't mean to be upsetting.

That wasn't a prophecy, I could just see you were sweating!

And I wanted you to know that your bro loves you so,

Let it in, let it out, let it rain, let it snow, let it go!

[Félix]

That's what I'm always saying, bro.

[Bruno]

Got a lot of apologies, I got to say...

[Julieta]

Hey, we're just happy that you're here, okay? ([Bruno] But-)

[Pepa]

Come into the light. ([Agustin] The triplets all reunite!)

[Julieta]

And no matter what happens...

[Pepa, Julieta]

We're gonna find our way!

[Rarity]

Aw, how sweet,

the family has reunited at last.

[Dolores

Yo, I knew he never left, I heard him every day.

[Pinkie]

You did!?

Then why didn't you tell anypony!?

[Choir]

Oh-oh, oh-oh-oh.

[Abuela]

What's that sound?

[Choir]

Oh-oh, oh-oh-oh.

[Antonio]

I think it's everyone in town

[Choir]

Oh-oh, oh!

Hey!

Lay down your load! (Lay down your load!)

We are only down the road! (We are only down the road!)

We have no gifts, but we are many!

And we'll do anything for you!

They then stared helping the Madrigals to rebuild the ruined home, helping them to restore the house and showing their support, letting them know they didn't need to do everything on their own.

[Applejack]

With this many people, restoring your home,

It won't feel like such a chore or a burden.

[Fluttershy]

We all need some help from time to time,

There is nothing wrong with accepting,

from everyone around you!

[Isabela]

It's a dream when we work as a team, you're so strong.

[Luisa]

Yeah, but sometimes I cry. ([Mirabel, Isabela] So do I!)

I may not be as strong, but I'm getting wiser.

[Isabela]

Yeah, I need sunlight and fertilizer.

Come on, let's plant something new and watch it fly,

[Luisa, Isabela, Mirabel]

Straight up to the sky, let's go!

[Everyone]

The stars don't shine, they burn,

The constellations glow.

The seasons change in turn.

[Julieta]

Would you watch our little girl go? ([Agustin] She takes after you.)

[Choir]

Oh, oh, oh, oh...

[Mariano]

Uh...

[Mirabel]

Hey, Mariano, why so blue?

[Mariano]

I... just have so much love inside...

[Mirabel]

You know, I've got this cousin too, have you met Dolores?

[Dolores]

Okay, I'll take it from here, goodbye!

You talk so loud,

You take care of your mother, and you make her proud.

You write your own poetry, every night when you go to sleep,

And I'm seizing the moment, so would you wake up and notice me?

[Mariano]

Dolores, I see you.

[Dolores]

And I hear you.

[Mirabel. Isabela, Rarity]

Yes!

[Everyone]

All of you, all of you...

[Mariano]

Let's get married! ([Dolores] Slow down.)

[Choir]

All of you, all of you!

[Mirabel]

Home sweet home, I like the new foundation

[Abuela]

It isn't perfect ([Mirabel] Neither are we), that's true.

Just one more thing before the celebration. ([Mirabel] What?)

We need a doorknob. (Antonio] We made this one for you.)

Antonio gave Mirabel a doorknob with the letter M on it, Mirabel feeling touched by it when they saw her right hand glow, turning it to see the symbol glowing on her hand as the triangle on it spun, looking up to see her family and the ponies in front of her, smiling. She then looked down to Antonio, who was holding her hand as they both walked up to the door.

[Madrigals, Ponies]

We see how bright you burn,

We see how brave you've been.

Now, see yourself in turn,

[Bruno]

You're the real gift, kid, let us in.

[Abuela]

Open your eyes,

Abre los ojos.

What do you see?

[Mirabel]

I see... me.

She then shed a tear of joy, the tear hitting the doorknob as the symbol went from purple to blue, Mirabel's heart filled with joy, happiness, and love as she looked to her family, friends and the community.

All of me.

She smiled at everyone, turning back to the casita and walked up tot he door, putting the doorknob in and as she did, a golden light shined from the knob, catching her off guard as it started to expand, light going over the entire house before the symbol on Mirabel's hand disappeared, reappearing on the door to the casita in a blue light, the triangle spinning around in front of everyone to see. Applejack heard her Keyblade appear, knowing what to do as she spun the blade around, doing a little dance before taking the blade in her mouth and pointing it towards her door, a circle of light appearing at the tip of the blade before an orange and red light shot out from the tip, going into the keyhole on the dragon head and making a clicking sound. As the clicking sound was made, the dragons eyes glowed orange as it opened it's mouth, releasing a golden light from it's mouth and flying towards the ponies, the book levitating out of Twilight's saddlebags and going into the dragon head as it's eyes glowed orange and the symbol for the house went from gold to pure white, the glow around the house disappearing, showing the house was a perfect white color with the same patterns it had on the inside and on the door was the entire family.

The ponies were amazed by the magic, seeing how breathtaking it was when the shutter opened up, waving to them to show the magic was still there.

"Hola Casita." Mirabel said.

The shingles and tiles on the roof them moved, showing how excited it was to see them before the door opened up, everything moving as the tiles on the ground moved Mirabel into the house, moving all of them into the house to show it looked better than it did before, the doors glowing with the same magic as it did before, but this time, everyone was happier than they were before, Isabela could now grow what she felt like and wear what she wanted, coloring her clothing as well, Luisa was strong again and picked up a pot with a massive cactus in it, putting it on the nearby table before a donkey knocked her into a hammock, accepting a drink and relaxing while Pepa was more in control of her magic to control the weather, dancing around as she made it hale. Mirabel and the ponies were happy to see how happy the family was before the ponies turned to leave, Mirabel seeing this and walking to them.

"You're leaving?" Mirabel asked.

"Afraid so." Twilight said.

"It's nothing personal Mirabel dear, we actually enjoyed being here." Rarity said. "But since we now have the fifth Heart Piece, it's time for us to move on and find the next one."

"Well, at least take a picture with us before you leave." Mirabel said. "We want to remember you guys and have something to remember you by."

"Why the heck not?" Rainbow Dash asked. "We have time for a picture."

As she said that, the casita moved everyone to a spot in front of everyone, a camera moving in front of them as it got ready to take a picture.

"Everyone ready?" Abuela asked. "Everyone...

"La Familia y Amigos Madrigal!" Everyone shouted, the house moving them all together as it snapped the picture, showing a truly happy family and friends in the picture.

Elsewhere, on the planet Mobius in an alternative dimension, and in a tower plotting his next scheme, was a man, round like an egg with a brown mustache and wearing a pair of goggles sitting in front of a screen, designing his new invention and way to defeat his hated foe when he heard the door open, growling as he knew who it was.

"Decoe, Bocoe, I told you not to disturb me while I'm working!" The man said.

"Sorry Dr. Eggman, but we wouldn't disturb you if it wasn't important." Bocoe, a short grey and silver robot, said.

"We found something that you might find interesting." Decoe, a tall golden robot said.

"Well what is it?" Dr. Eggman asked, turning to face them. He then saw what it was they were referring to, seeing the golden orb of light and was fascinated by it. "What... is that?"

"We don't know sir." Decoe replied. "We found it in the Green Hills, flying around aimlessly."

"And we detected it had a strange kind of energy about it." Bocoe said. "Our scans show it has power closely similar to the Chaos Emeralds."

"Is that so?" Eggman asked, laughing. "Oh, ho, ho, ho, ho! If it has power similar to the Chaos Emeralds, then that means we can harness its power. Are there more of these things?"

"We don't know sir." Decoe replied. "If there are, it would be fascinating to see them."

"You idiotic pile of scrap!" Eggman shouted. "If there are more of these things, we can use them to get rid from Sonic once and for all!" He then turned to face his computer, immediately getting to work on designing something. "While I work on a device to hep me locate more of these glowing orbs, you put that in storage. And make sure it's under heavy lock and key. For this time... that hedgehog won't stop me."
