"Naruto? Why do you wish to know about him?" Blade asked his fellow Stellaron Hunter sitting on his bed. Despite his stoic appearance, Blade held some admiration for Kafka due to her control over his Mara. After all, it was her that kept him from going on a killing spree at any given time.

"Well, on our recent mission to the Space station, we encountered someone who somehow managed to immobilize us before we even had the chance to do anything. Then he did 'something' to me and just let us go. Before he left, he did tell me tell to you that 'Naruto' said hi. Any idea who that could be?" Kafka asked with her usual tone. By now, even Silver wolf was curious about the person that defeated them so easily. Blade's eyes widened as he took in what Kafka said. Hearing the end, he let out an almost imperceptible laugh. What surprised the women in the room, wasn't the laugh, but rather the lack of malice behind it.

"That sly fox. I guess he even outmatched you, didn't he Kafka?" Blade said with a very small smile. "We used to be friends once, but that was a life time ago. That man is a trickster. A powerful one who isn't afraid to use his tricks to win."

Naruto moved towards the trampler with a smile, his shakujou changing into a pole arm that had a reddish black colored handle with a white stripe spiraling down its length. The bottom end had a sharpened black crescent giving the weapon two sharp tips. A strange looking red spear head with eight separate sharpened points arranged in a circle around a central spike and a black gem where the spear head met the handle. Overall, it looked quite top heavy. The trampler just roared and lifted its feet, ready to crush the man closing in, but when its feet landed, they went through him as if he was a mere illusion.

"His skill with that spear dwarfs my skill with a blade. And that spear… I don't know what it is, but it is powerful."

The illusion disappeared and the trampler felt a sharp pain in its leg. Looking down, he saw a red eyed Naruto holding his spear like a bat before whacking the spear head on its knee. It let out a cry of pain before jumping away from the blond, who was still smiling. The trampler summoned its bow and fired an arrow at Naruto, who was about to dodge, but stayed still to stop it from reaching the people behind him.

"And if you think you killed him, you better think again."

"Mr Naruto!" March cried out while the boys just had their jaws on the floor. Caelus was sure that the man could've easily dodged the attack, but for some reason, he hadn't? Right now, a cloud of dust concealed both the man and the monster that shot that arrow. At Dan Heng's signal, all of them got out their weapons, ready to fight the monster.

"Is that all?" The voice coming from the cloud sent shivers down everyone's spines. March and Dan Heng were familiar with that voice, but the killing intent lacing it was very foreign to them. Normally, the blond had a very comforting presence and a cheerful which made everyone feel at ease around him, but right now, that feeling was replaced by a potent amount of killing intent.

When the dust cleared, they saw that a black half sphere had shielded Naruto. The sphere slowly shrunk in to a black orb that disappeared. "I'd love to play for a bit longer, but you are proving to be quite a large problem, so I'll end this quickly." With that, Naruto brandished his spear and disappeared before reappearing behind the trampler's head and sinking the crescent at the bottom into the back of its head. The beast screamed in agony as Naruto appeared near the others. It let out a loud desperate roar and, in an instant, a large number of distorters appeared, floating behind the trampler and ready to unleash a large number of attacks on the small group. In the midst of all this, Naruto just smiled. "About time you showed up, Himeko." Seconds later, a large drone with a sawblade attached appeared out of nowhere and started slashing at the Voidrangers while Naruto threw his spear at the trampler, finally killing it. After the drone was done with the distorters, Naruto gave it a nod, picked up his spear, which changed back into a shakujou and walked towards the elevator. He was almost there when he realized that the others had stayed behind. He turned around to face them and waved them over. Soon enough, they were on their way to the master control zone.

Arriving at their destination, the group split up. Arlan went up to meet Asta and the others walked up to a well-dressed, tall red head. "Himeko! Glad you didn't decide to obliterate us on a whim!" Himeko ignored Naruto's small jab and looked over March, Dan Heng and Caelus for any injuries. After seeing they were all fine, she gave a small smile.

"Glad to see you're all ok." Her eyes then moved to the unfamiliar grey haired boy. "And who might this be?" Before he could answer, March excitedly started talking about her new friend, surprising even Caelus. Watching this, Himeko just let out a small laugh. "Well, my name is Himeko and I'm the navigator of the Astral Express. Nice to meet you Caelus. I hope March didn't cause too much trouble?"

Looking Caelus in the eye, March gave him an overly sweet smile. "You might want to think very carefully before answering that question." Despite the tone telling Caelus something bad may happen if he answered wrong, he decided to be honest.

"I have never met a more reckless girl in my life." Caelus answered confidently before realizing that, except for Kafka and that other short one he saw, he hadn't met any other girls in his life. As far as he could remember, that is.

Hearing his reply, March just smiled and said, "That's just part of my charm. Right Dan Heng?"

Without thinking twice, Dan Heng just crossed his arms and answered. "I have the right to remain silent." He valued his peace and quiet after all. "Anyway, let's go and meet Asta. I want to know if there is anything else can do to help."

The group walk ahead to meet the lead researcher, conveniently forgetting the absence of a certain blond.

Naruto was back on the Astral Express and was making his way to the living quarters. He walked up to one of the locked doors and knocked. A few seconds later, a click sound came from the door, and it slid open, revealing an older gentleman with glasses and graying brown hair. "Mind if I come in?" Welt nodded and let him in, before locking the door and joining Naruto near a small table with three chairs. Sitting down, Naruto looks at Welt with a serious expression. "So, you're not going to do anything?"

Welt sighed and crossed his arms. "Well, that depends on the situation. If there's a need for my involvement-

"There's a Doomsday beast." Welt's eyes widened. "So, does that warrant your involvement?"

"I'll admit, that is quite vexing, but I will only be involved if the others can't handle it." Welt turned back to Naruto. "But, on a similar note, will you be involved, Naruto?"

"The best I can do without destroying the whole station is hold it down for the others. It is quite weak when it comes to its head." Naruto took a deep breath and let out a sigh. "It's no fun just sitting on the sidelines, but, like you, I want to lay low for now." Naruto turned away from Welt. "Whatever Destiny's slave has planned, it will probably involve the express to a large degree." Naruto stood up and moved towards the door. "If you aren't too busy, hit up my head later. I'll explain a bit more there. Also, I think the others will need my help right about now. Keep the express away from the station. We don't want any problems on the train."

With that, Naruto walked out and disappeared through a portal, leaving Welt to ponder what he said.

Meanwhile, the rest of the gang were in a pickle. They had been heading to the Supply zone to get some help from Welt but the Doomsday beast seemed to have sensed their intentions. Now, the gang found themselves facing said beast with less than favorable odds. Just as the beast was about to attack, red chains with claw like tips wrapped around its hand and core. "Everyone!" They turned around to see Naruto walking up to them with his hand held out and chains coming out of his back. "I'll try to bring it down! When it's down, go for the head! That's its biggest weak spot!"

Everyone nodded and Naruto closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Opening his eyes, he clawed his hand and in response, the chains around the beast tightened and the hands and core started to crack as the beast wailed in pain. Eventually, it got too much for the hands and core to bear, and the chains destroyed them. "Go!" At his signal, they ran for the head and started attacking it. They were doing good damage, until Naruto's chains suddenly pulled them back. Looking back at the beast, it had fully regenerated and started picking itself back up. However, this time, it was a lot angrier. With a roar, it lifted itself up and got ready to unleash a powerful attack on all of them. "Yeah, no!" The chains wrapped a round the core again and tightened, breaking it. The hands were next, and in no time, the others were back to wailing on it.

With a roar, the Doomsday beast broke out of its bonds. Seeing this, Naruto was about to take action, when it suddenly sent a beam of destructive energy towards the group and directly towards March. As her eyes widened, she heard Himeko and Dan Heng calling her name, but at the last second, she was pushed aside by Caelus who seemed to take the hit.

Opening his eyes, Caelus couldn't see anyone. He felt weightless. He felt empty. He was floating towards somewhere, guided by something in his chest. All he saw around him, was darkness and a golden glow from behind him. Looking up, he sees a giant man, bleeding golden blood from a wound in his chest. The man's golden eyes met his own, and he heard strangely familiar voices flowing into his head. "I must leave now. You must see the end of your story." The man's scar glowed brightly and a golden field started circulating around his chest. "They've already noticed you" 'Who is that..' "Reach the end of the story in your own way." Caelus clutched his chest as it started to hurt and the field became stronger.

A blue shield deflected the beam sent by the Doomsday beast as Caelus cried out in agony. He clawed at his chest as a golden glow escaped it. Then, he stiffened and cried even louder as the Stellaron unleashed a powerful wave of energy, directly hitting the Doomsday beast and threatening to destroy the station itself. A great pressure fell on the area and pushed everyone away as a large golden field surrounded Caelus and he floated upward, like he was being pulled up by his chest. Before it could continue any further, a red cane tapped his forehead, knocking him out. Welt Yang adjusted his glasses while March caught Caelus.

The last thing Caelus saw before blacking out was Welt walking towards an approaching train.

Caelus woke up on a bench in a corner of the Space station's Master control zone. His chest hurt and his vision swam as he tried to stand up. When his vision finally cleared, he saw March looking at him worriedly. He sat up and stretched before trying to stand up. He was about fall when March grabbed his arm to steady him. "Hey! Take it easy. You were out for almost a day." Caelus nodded and sat back down on the bench as March gave him a bottle of water. After taking a drink, the pain in his head eased and he let out a sigh of relief. "Feel better?" March asked hopefully. At his nod, she smiled and told him to wait while she went to fetch someone. A few seconds later, she returned with Naruto walking behind her with a smile.

"Hey there. March tells me that you just woke up. You mind if I give you a once over?" Caelus just nodded and Naruto began the check up. After some poking and prodding, Naruto turned to face Caelus. "You seem fine to me. Just take it easy for a bit. You should be fully recovered by the end of the day. Oh yeah, Himeko wanted to meet you once you woke up, but she decided to help out with getting the Space station back in order. She should be around here somewhere. Feel free to find her when you're able. Also, if you need anything else, feel free to talk to me." With a friendly wave, Naruto left the place leaving Caelus and March alone.

With Naruto gone, March turned to Caelus and said, "Hey Caelus, Thanks for saving me earlier. If you hadn't pushed me away, I don't know what would've happened to me." Caelus noticed that she didn't sound as joyful as before.

Caelus gave her a smile. "You're welcome, March. Don't think too hard about it. Say, could you take me to Himeko?"

"I've got some errands to run, so I can't take you there, but she should be somewhere in the Master control zone. Oh yeah, before you leave, let's exchange beacons. That way, we can stay in contact!" March excitedly pulled out her phone, before realizing that Caelus had no idea what a beacon was. After some fiddling, they got each other's contact info and Caelus left to find Himeko.

*Back on the Express*

Naruto and Welt walked side by side and entered the latter's room on the train. Sitting around the table again, they both connected their fists before their eyes closed and their heads turned towards the floor. Opening his eyes, Welt found himself in front of a small cottage next to Naruto. Walking inside, they sat on 2 armchairs facing each other. No matter how many times he came to this place, the blond's mindscape always fascinated him. From deserts and fields to forests and oceans the place had every environment imaginable. You could even find animals here. How Naruto didn't suffer a mental overload from this was quite a mystery to Welt. "So, what did you want to talk about?"

"Well. I wanted to talk about Caelus." Naruto explained everything he had found inside Kafka's mind to Welt. "Based on all this, I feel like they might be trying to pull one against Nanook. It is also odd that I couldn't find anything about us in this, so called, 'script'."

"So you're saying that Destiny's slave didn't have any predictions about us in his script?" Welt asked.

"Correct. I believe it's because we are both from different dimensions. Either way, I think we're better off laying low for a while and just seeing how everything plays out. The tailed beasts also agreed with me on this and now, I'd like your opinion."

Welt thought it over in his head. While he was thinking, the door of the cottage opened and a rather tall man with waist length black hair walked inside. Looking at the occupants of the house, the man smiled and raised a hand in greeting. "Long time no see brat. What brings you to my humble abode?"

Naruto smiled. "Good to see you too Madara. And for your information, I was here some time ago while you were gone." While initially resentful of him, Madara had eventually mellowed out in Naruto's mindscape and even become a mentor to the blond. As for how he got there, that's a story for another time.

Before Madara could respond, Welt finally decided to speak. "I believe that sounds like a proper course of action. However, how will we know what warrants our attention and what we are supposed to do?" Naruto turned back to Welt with a confused expression. "What I mean is, there will be situations the others just won't be able to pull themselves out of. What will we do then and how will we, 'lay low'?"

"In that case, we try to keep our involvement as low as possible. We will still help when things get rough, but not to the point where we take the spotlight away from the kid." After some more discussion, they left Naruto's mindscape and walked towards the Parlor car of the Express. Upon their arrival, they see Caelus looking around the car with an awed expression on his face and with a Nameless badge pinned to his jacket. Naruto couldn't help but be reminded of March when he saw the boy's reaction. However, Caelus was broken out of his trance by a voice calling him from nowhere.

Looking down, he saw what looked like an oversized rabbit in a red uniform. "Hey you! The grey one!" Caelus pointed at himself confusedly. "Yes you. Himeko told me about your 'situation' so listen up because Pom Pom will only say this once. Pom Pom's sure there have been many people telling you how special you are, but here on the Astral Express, everyone has their secrets. Since you chose to board the Express, there are rules you should abide by. You are not the only special one here and you'd do well to remember that. That said, I'm Pom Pom, the conductor of the express. Just come find me if there's any trouble."

After Pom Pom left, Naruto walked up to one of the sofas and sat down with a sigh of relief. He turned to Caelus and gave him a smile. "So, what do you think of the express kid?" Seeing Caelus' nervous expression, he let out a good-natured laugh. "Don't worry, the rabbit gives that speech to everyone. Feel free to look around the train." Naruto looked around. "Since Himeko isn't here, I assume we might be making a warp jump soon. If we are, Pom Pom will announce what you need to do." Caelus nodded and thanked Naruto before exploring the Parlor car.

A few minutes later, Pom Pom's voice was heard through the loudspeakers. "Attention all passengers! Attention all passengers! The Astral Express is about to conduct a warp jump. I repeat, the Astral Express is about to conduct a warp jump! Please make your way to the parlor car, take a seat and hang on tight!" Hearing the announcement, Caelus hurried towards the parlor car and quickly took a seat. He was a bit concerned about the lack of Himeko and Dan Heng, but Pom Pom quickly explained that Himeko will arrive after some quick checks and that Dan Heng never comes to the Parlor car and just stays in his room instead. Thanking the conductor, Caelus took his seat and got lost in thought. He was absentmindedly reaching out for the decoration hanging above him, a giant whale, and contemplating his situation when he was interrupted by March.

"Are you trying to catch the stars? I've tried to do that before too, but it wasn't stars for me. It was lights." March's tone took a somber hint. "When I first woke up from the ice, I thought I saw clusters of stars in front of me and reached out for them. But it was just the celling lights in the carriage. It was pretty embarrassing with everyone watching me." Seeing Caelus' confused look, she started speaking again. "You might not believe me, but before all of this, I stuck in a huge block of ice drifting through space. Mr Yang, Himeko and Mr Naruto figured out a way to melt the ice and save me. I don't remember what happened before or how I got frozen in the first place. I forgot everything, who I am, where I come from, even my name. 'March 7th' was when they found me, so it stuck. Ever since then, I've been on this train, and hoping I'll learn something about my past." Hearing her story, Caelus put his hand on her back reassuringly. After all, he could relate.

"I think you'll find out about your past one day." His encouraging words made March give him a small smile. When Pom Pom announced that they were about to jump in a few minutes, and March looked embarrassed. "Um, is it really necessary to remind me every time? I'm not a newbie anymore, you know."

"I wouldn't have to remind you if you don't challenge yourself and fall over everytime." If they were being honest, Pom Pom wasn't sure how the girl in front of them hasn't broken her face yet.

"That's called never giving up. Hehe"

Ignoring March 7th, Pom Pom marched up to the engine room and began the preparations for the jump. Meanwhile, March was standing in the middle of the carriage and muttering to herself about not falling. "All passengers please return to your seats. The express is about to make the jump, I repeat, the express is about to make the jump." Hearing the conductor, Caelus got comfortable in his seat and looked worriedly at March. "Hold on everyone." Caelus closed his eyes.

"Five" Caelus felt lighter.

"Four." He felt the train getting slightly faster.

"Three." Warmth spread through his body.

"Two." He felt weightless.

"One!"

That's the space station done! This took me a bit longer than expected, but it was worth it. For the future, I am planning to have Naruto train Caelus. As for Madara, well that's for later. Anyways, I really hope you enjoyed this chapter. Please leave a review and share your ideas on this fic. See you in the next one!
