-Chapter Sixty-Four-

"Of course, I had used him to get to the Rio Poneglyph" Robin confessed. "I'm good at maneuvering through obstacles to achieve my goal, I'd be a great asset to you and your friends" she smiled.

"You're full of confidence—what's your specialty?" Usopp asked, leaning forward

"Killing" Robin calmly answered, causing me to burst out into a fit of laughter.

"That's a nice specialty you got there" I snorted.

"Luffy! My investigation has concluded that she is far too dangerous!" Usopp cried as he whirled around in his chair and looked back at the captain. "You guys listening to me?!" he snapped when he noticed that Luffy and Chopper were far too distracted to listen as they were tickled by a group of disembodied hands.

"Seriously, I'm disappointed—you two are pathetic" Nami frowned, kicking the wall to gain everyone's attention. "Until recently, she was the vice president of a crime syndicate," she reminded us, "so do you really think that such a woman should join us? You may have fooled these idiots, but I'm not convinced" she glared. "You pull anything and I'll personally kick you out" she threateningly growled.

"Alright, I'll keep that in mind" Robin nodded with a small smile, unfazed by the ginger's threat. "Oh, I just remembered, I brought along some of Crocodile's jewelry with me" she suddenly confessed, dropping a small pouch onto the table.

"Oh! Wow!" Nami gasped as she rushed toward the table and snatched up the jewelry. "I love you, big sister! You're the best!" she squealed, seemingly no longer wary of the woman.

"She...she hasn't even been here that long and she's already figured out Nami's weakness" I sweat dropped.

"Oh boy, here we go" Zoro and Usopp sighed.

"Nami's been had" Usopp said.

"This chick's bad news..." Zoro grumbled.

"She's following her lead like some kind of pet" the sharpshooter remarked before wincing as he and the swordsman finally noticed the hearts that were floating around.

"Speaking of pets on a leash" I said upon noticing the stray hears as well.

"Ah, love," Sanji blissfully sighed, "bold, the likes of which I've never seen" he cooed as he came twirling towards the raven-haired woman, making a dramatic show of approaching her. "I'm captured by your spell, held prisoner in your eyes" he flirted, setting down a plate of cake and cup of coffee in front of Robin as Nami sunk to the floor and underneath the table as if wanting to admire her jewelry in private. "I was driftwood, floating at sea until you struck me like a thousand thunderbolts, igniting my soul—a snack?" he offered.

"Aw, thank you" Robin sweetly smiled.

"Look at him, falling all over himself" Zoro frowned.

"I mean...this is Sanji we're talking about" I said.

"Yeah, she's right, he was a lost cause from the start" Usopp nodded in agreement, yet still heaving a sigh of disappointment.

"Looks like you, Skylar, and I are the only holdouts on this ship of insanity" Zoro noted, slipping an arm around my waist.

"We shouldn't blame the others—their simple minds can't resist her charm" Usopp shrugged.

"She's just too charming for them, it seems" I sighed.

"Hey, Usopp, Skylar" Luffy suddenly called out, causing us to turn and look at him. "Chopper" he cutely smiled as two disembodied arms poked out of his temples like mock antlers. Upon seeing this, both Usopp and I immediately burst out into a fit of laughter as we fell to the floor—crying alongside Chopper and Luffy who were doing the same.

"Not you too" I heard Zoro growl in annoyance as I clutched my sides and banged my fist on the deck of the ship.

"What should I call you? Robin or something more daring that declares my love?" Sanji blissfully sighed in thought. I loudly snorted upon hearing this, causing the other laughing men to stop and look at me before we all burst out into even louder fit of laughter. It wasn't long before my sides were starting to hurt as barely any sound came out of my mouth due to how hard I was currently laughing with tears now streaming down my face. "Leaving?" I suddenly heard the blond hum as Robin stood and wandered off, not really answering him other than giving him a smile.

"Oh, that was a good laugh" I sighed, wiping my eyes clean of any tears with the back of my hand. "Luffy, you truly are a comedic genius" I praised with a grin, causing the captain to happily laugh.

"Ah, she's great," Sanji dreamily sighed, "with an adult charm, she's far different than Nami and Skylar" he remarked, staring off after the woman as she took her leave towards the back of the ship and tried striking up conversation with Zoro.

"Wonder what they're talking about?" I hummed, curiously tilting my head.

"What's the forecast, navigator? Is it smooth sailing ahead?" Robin suddenly asked, turning around once she realized she was getting nowhere with the swordsman.

"The wind is calm and the weather's beautiful, there's no problem on my end, sis" Nami happily chirped.

"How would you know? You haven't stopped gawking at that jewelry!" Zoro snapped.

"Treasure" Nami cooed, ignoring the irritated swordsman.

"I mean, she did say there was no problems on her end" I grinned, causing him to grumble.

"Sanji, is our snack ready?" Luffy suddenly asked.

"Be patient..." Sanji grumbled.

"But I'm hungry!" Luffy whined as Usopp and Chopper were quick to join him with me not that far behind as I shrugged my shoulders and started to complain alongside the three. A snack didn't sound too bad right about now.

-The Next Day-

-Everybody's P.O.V-

Down in the men's room, the soft snores that could be heard coming from the majority of the men didn't seem to bother Skylar in the least as she continued to comfortably snooze away, body curled up tight against her and Zoro's swords after having passed out on the couch last night without bothering to move them. Zoro and Sanji were sprawled out on the floor right underneath her as Chopper slept peacefully at the table, having drifted off in the middle of going over some notes. Luffy and Usopp were the only ones that had fallen asleep on one of the hammocks together, their bodies a tangled mess of limbs as they slept.

Up in the crow's nest, Nami was curled up tight in a blanket in an attempt to keep warm. Despite having been on watch duty that night, she had dozed off sometime in the early hours of the morning. She woke with a start when she suddenly sneezed before yawning as she finally took notice of the morning sun starting to rise in the distance.

"Huh?" she stretched before squinting her eyes when she suddenly saw something in the distance.

"Can't breathe...Eyelash...stop..." Usopp fearfully muttered in his sleep, violently twitching every now and then.

"I'm sorry...I won't call you that again...please..." Skylar quietly whimpered in her sleep, pulling the swords closer to her body as if they were an object meant to be cuddled before harshly gasping as her body jolted upright. Her eyes were wild as she frantically scanned the room, chest heaving in her attempt to gather her bearings before eventually settling down once she recognized the sleeping men scattered around the room.

"Come on, you guys—wake up! Wake up!" Nami shouted from above as the brunette stretched her arms.

"Another nightmare..." she tiredly muttered, sitting the swords that she had been cuddling just mere moment's ago off to the side as she pulled her knees up to her chest in an attempt to hold herself for a second. "There not as frequent as they usually are, but still..." she murmured, pressing her face against her knees as she took a second to recall the events of her dream before quickly shaking her head free of such thoughts.

It was best not to think about it.

"Nami, morning—how about a passionate good morning kiss?" Sanji sleepily muttered, catching the brunette's attention as she curiously peered over the edge of the couch. Quickly did she choke back a laugh at the sight of the blonde's lips puckering up as he inched his way closer toward Zoro, seemingly aware of just who was sleeping beside him. It wasn't until the swordsman's eyes lazily opened and he clenched his jaw upon seeing the sight of the blond getting closer did she finally lose it.

"Pfft!" loudly laughing, she was nearly in tears when Sanji had finally woken up just as he was now mere inches away from planting a smooch on the moss-haired man.

"You bastard! Your disgusting face nearly scared me half to death!" the blond snapped, throwing himself back and away from the swordsman.

"I scared you? What do you think you're doing?!" Zoro shouted as a verbal fight finally broke out between the two.

-Skylar's P.O.V-

"Oh man, I wish I could have been able to capture that moment and keep it with me forever" I sighed, once more wiping away the tears in my eyes as I gathered myself. "Too bad you both woke up just in time though."

"Too bad? What the hell do you mean too bad?!" Zoro angrily snapped as he now directed his glare away from Sanji and toward me instead.

"Nothing" I chirped, raising my hands in defense when I thought he was about to lunge at me. "Just that you two would make such a lovely couple" I teased with a grin.

"Skylar—"

"There's an island up ahead! Didn't you guys hear me?" Nami called from the upper deck once more, unintentionally cutting Zoro off.

"Island?" Luffy questioned, instantly jolting away before quickly scampering out of the hammock and knocking Usopp out of it in the process.

"Ough, that's got to hurt" I winced when I heard the slight crack that followed the sharpshooter face-planting into the ground. Luffy harshly threw Zoro and Sanji to the side in his attempt to scramble up to the upper deck, impatiently climbing the ladder. Following the captain's lead, I shrugged and simply left the groaning men behind to gather themselves as I made my way up onto the deck. "Morning" I greeted with a smile as I got down from the ship, joining Nami and Luffy on the beach of the island just as the others finally started to fully wake up and join us.

"Morning to you too" Nami smiled. "Sleep well?" she asked.

"Eh" I shrugged. "But waking up was pretty alright" I grinned.

"That so?" she questioned with a raised brow as I only hummed.

"This island looks like it should be full of big, strong, crazy monsters!" Luffy excitedly laughed as looked around.

"Ow! My nose still isn't working right!" Usopp whined as he tried to straighten out his crooked nose before glaring at the rubber man. "Look at what you did—it could be permanently broken!" he snapped.

"Nothing feels out of the ordinary, it appears to be a small island" Nami remarked.

"Yeah, but an island full of monsters would have been a lot more exciting" I hummed, rocking back and forth on the balls of my feet.

"Yeah!" Luffy nodded, his grin growing wider.

"Don't go getting him hyped up..." Nami muttered, causing me to giggle.

"Look, Nami" Sanji suddenly called down from the top of a tree he had apparently climbed when none of us were looking. "Fruits like this are perfect for replenishing our food supply and judging from this crop, there's no shortage of goodies" he smiled, tossing one of the fruits to the navigator while sliding back down the tree.

"Wow, we should find as many as we can and load them onto the ship" Nami suggested.

"I bet there's plenty of plants and vegetables we can use as food too—with all it has to offer, this little island seems like a cook's paradise" Sanji grinned.

"Okay, it'll be your job to look for anything we can use as a source of food" Nami said before turning to face the rest of us. "As for the rest of you, here" she said, holding out a bundle of sticks.

"What's that?" Chopper asked, curiously tilting his head as he examined the sticks she was holding.

"Sticks?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Draw straws?" Usopp questioned.

"It's simple, the four who draw the shortest straws will spend the day collecting this fruit and whoever draws the longest straw will have the duty of staying and protecting the ship" Nami explained.
