Preview
Hey there guys, gals, and non-binary pals! Tardispilot297 here bringing you a small preview of what's to come in future chapters of Godzilla: New Dawn. The reason you're getting this instead of chapter 10 is due to two things. First, because I'm still in the middle of writing it. And second, sheer absolute excitement! Recently I've come up with so many amazing concepts and ideas that I just had to share them without spoiling too much. And so I present to you for your reading (and if you choose, listening) pleasure this little preview. Hope you all enjoy it!
(overview of a snowy mountain)
Jacker Leader: [flashback voice] Who are you?
(close up of Goji taking off goggles and removing a scarf over his face as the cold wind blows)
Goji: [flashback voice] Just someone looking for peace.
(view change to Jaime sitting on top of a rock looking at a sunset)
Jaime: [flashback voice] I got separated from my mom. She's out there waiting, and… I gotta go get to her.
(wide shots of the group walking across a bridge and climbing up a mountain)
Goji: [flashback voice] Chances are it's going to get worse before it gets better.
(seven metal armored figures drop down from the sky in front of the group)
Garth: [flashback voice] You sure you know what you're in for when you get there?
(Goji climbs up a rocky hill and oversees an epic battle between two large armies)
Goji: [flashback voice] You remember I promised I'd get you back to your mom right?
(Goji faces off against Gordon and a large KK pack)
(He balls up his fists just before the scene cuts to black)
Goji: [flashback voice] I always keep my promises.
I Don't Want To See Tomorrow by Nat King Cole- Fallout Version starts playing
I don't want to see tomorrow,
(aerial shot of a helicopter with the letters JDF painted on the side lifts off from an airfield)
unless I see it with you.
(camera view changes to the inside of the chopper with Himura looking out through the cockpit and then turning around behind her. Sitting in the back is a man and a young Goji each with a rifle and wearing a soldier's uniform and body armor with two large K's painted on the chest piece)
Tomorrow, so they say
(scene changes to seven humanoid multicolored M.O.G.U.E.R.A. robots walking forward with the one in the middle wielding a metal katana)
Will be a lovely day,
(visuals change from a red claw scraping across a metal door to CeCe, Jaime, and Goji looking down a hallway lit with flashing red lights in fear to a wide shot of a large arena filled with ape-like KKs)
A bright new sun will suddenly break through,
(visuals change from a close up of a large Kong KK roaring and beating their fists against their chest to The Group looking up at a large rocketship aimed upward)
But I don't want to see tomorrow,
(rotating shot of a Varan KK wearing a cowboy hat and smiling as they look around)
Unless I see it with you.
(visuals of the group fighting boulder-like KKs with CeCe shooting her sawed off at one of them)
(song pauses at the moment the KK is shot and the scene changes to a JDF Officer sitting at a desk and spitting out coffee. A young Goji sits in front of him and stares at him)
JDF Officer: (coughs as he puts his mug on the desk looking disgusted) Man, How the hell do I always end up getting the moldy ones. (clears his throat)
(song starts back up again with a clip of a cyborg KK firing finger missiles at Goji)
Tomorrow, so I hear
(visuals change from Jaime being pushed along on a metal table by a KK with crystals poking out of their back to A woman wearing a lab coat looking at a man through a wall of glass)
The clouds will disappear,
(action shot of a large Mammoth KK wearing armor fighting against large dragon-like KKs with a spear and shield)
The door to happiness will open wide.
(visuals change from an old man wearing a white headband and a red, white, and teal jacket running down a hill to a large van with his back to the camera to a large Skull Crawler KK roaring with fire all around it)
But I don't want to see tomorrow,
(visuals change from an action shot of a cyborg KK shooting a SMG wildly to a wide shot of a large Mechagodzilla wreckage to a man getting on a horse behind a young Jaime and the scene cutting to black)
Unless I see it wiiiiiiiiiiiiiith….
(a few flickering visuals of a large black dinosaur-like KK standing on all fours with its tail swishing through a cloud of dust and it's back dorsal spines glowing a dark purple with its eyes and mouth glowing the same color as its mouth slowly opens with the lower jaw splitting in two before cutting to black)
…..yoooooooouuuuu.

So there you have it everybody! Man it felt good to share this with you all. Anyway I hope you all enjoyed it and are looking forward to what happens in the next chapter.
