YEARS AGO:

Mary and Richard boarded the airplane to head to their location. With everything that Harrison Wells is doing to the Particle Accelerator, he is going to hurt a lot of people. And with the information that Hartley has confirmed when Wells fired him, they are gaining a real case that something is wrong with the accelerator.

"This is something bigger than anything we could have imagined," Richard commented as he looked over the computer.

However, Mary wasn't focused on that as she looked around and noticed that only a few people were on board. This wasn't exactly a private plane, and this was just a normal commercial flight. Yet there was at least a handful of people on board.

"Something's wrong," Mary commented.

"What?" Richard asked as he looked around. "Oh."

"How did you not notice?" Mary rolled her eyes at her husband.

"Well, what do we do?" Richard wonders.

"You get to the back," Mary tells her husband and undid her seatbelt. "Lock yourself in the bathroom."

"I hate being tech support." Richard sighed, knowing his wife was better at fighting than him. "Don't take too long."

"Ha-ha," Mary replied with a sigh.

Richard made his way to the bathroom and left Mary as she stood up with a sigh. Looking around, she noticed a few of the men grabbed some pocket knives out of their pants. While they were doing that, Mary pulled off a band from her arm and tied her hair into a ponytail.

"How did you guys get those knives past security?" Mary asked them.

One of them ran down the stalls and tried to attack her with a swing. But luckily Mary was one step ahead and knew that this was coming as it's always their first move. Rising a foot with her heels, she kicked one of them in the chest which caused them to wince and fall backward.

Mary sighed as she took off her shoes with blood and then tossed them aside. That was something she knew would get in her way going forward and was happy she was at least wearing socks inside them.

One came up to her from behind and grabbed onto her shoulders. But Mary was quick and quickly kicked him in the knee and head-butted him which ended up sending him backward.

One of the others grabbed Mary, causing her to act fast and elbow him in the face. Another swung his knife to try and go for her shoulder. But Mary grabbed him by his palm and neck, slamming him into the upper head compartment.

"Who sent you?" Mary asked him.

But she wasn't given any time to listen for answers as someone came up and tried to do some ninja kick that she quickly blocked. When she did so, she punched him in the face then raised her foot and kicked another from her back. Reaching up to the man she just hit, she stole his knife and tossed it across the room embedding it into his chest.

Mary looked around and saw that was the last of them and sighed as she looked over to the bathroom. "Okay, we're alone."

Richard then opened the door and looked around to see the attackers. "So, who were they?"

"No idea, but someone wasn't getting their money's worth." Mary sighed as she looked around and noticed a flight attendant walking down the walkway with a trolly.

That seemed to be a bit off for Mary, which only confirmed it when she pulled out a gun, causing her to try and pull Richard out of the way. But she wasn't fast enough as the attendant ended up shooting him in the back.

"Richard!" Mary cried as they made it to the other half of the plane and found cover. She quickly placed him down in one of the seats and saw his wound. "Okay, you need to stay awake and stay still."

"Mary..." Richard groaned as he could barely stay still with the wound. "Run."

Mary knew he was trying to protect her, even if it was the last thing she did. But she didn't want to leave her husband to get shot. "I won't leave you."

"Peter...Teresa...they'll need someone." Richard reminded her. "You need to run."

Mary didn't even consider her kids, as she likes to keep her mind focused on the mission. And right now, her mission was to keep the two of them alive. But thinking of her kids now and the idea that they would be out there on their own now made her think of what her objective was right now.

But the attendant came back, and Mary had to jump down one of the rows to not get shot. She then strolled down as Mary grabbed one of the guns from the man she stabbed and shot her in the face. She tried to shoot again but the gun was already out of bullets.

As soon as she did, Mary noticed his face starting to glitch out and sighed. She knew exactly who this was. "Dmitri."

The attendant then reached up and ripped off a facemask that unveiled a white mask underneath it. "Miss me, Parker?"

"Not in the slightest!" Mary cried as she kicked the Master of Disguise in the chest and leaped to her feet. "How's your nose by the way?"

That seemed to tick him off further as Dmitri Smerdyakov took his gun and tried to shoot her again. But in his anger, he missed Mary and ended up shooting a chair. They were ready to go when an explosion went off, ending up taking a portion of the plane with it. The explosion ended up causing a gust of wind to enter the plane and blow everything everywhere blinding him.

While Dmitri was distracted, Mary managed to get up and shoot him. But that didn't seem to slow him down just as the plane started to go for a nosedive due to no pilot. That sent Mary slamming into the ceiling and dropping her gun in the process.

The emergency door was blown off its hinges and it seemed even the gunshot wasn't going to slow him down. Dmitri just took his parachute and took for the door. Escaping in time for his parachute to save him, he left the two of them to crash and burn.

Mary managed to crawl her way to the ground as she saw her husband had passed on and started to tear up. Looking at the broken door, she looked over at her deceased husband as she closed her eyes and knew what she needed to do. She grabbed onto the chairs of the plane and pushed herself upward towards the back of the plane where another parachute was. On the way over, she grabbed a knife in case she needed it on the way down.

The plane was currently seconds from hitting the ground so she needed to move fast, or this whole thing was going to be all for nothing. Once Mary grabbed the parachute, she made her way to the gaping hole in the plane and when she reached it, she made a jump for it.

At that moment, the plane engine exploded, causing fire and smoke to cover Mary's face, and she screamed in pain as she felt the heat hit the left side of her face and caused her to use her hand to try and block the fire. She felt her entire face was burned from the fire and winced in pain. She then finally got the courage to finally jump from the plane.

PRESENT DAY:

The sleek black sports car tore through the city streets, its tires screeching as Mary behind the wheel skillfully evaded the gang of thugs in their menacing SUV. Bullets whizzed past, shattering glass and sending sparks flying as Teresa shrieked and tried to shield her face from the glass shattering around them. Peter looked in the back seat and saw Teresa manage to shield herself using her jacket to keep herself safe.

Mary expertly maneuvered through traffic, using every trick in the book to stay ahead and keep her kids safe. With a sudden sharp turn down a narrow alley, where the thugs began to follow after them. They used the opening of the cars to then start shooting at the back of the car and shattering the back window. Peter quickly reached for his phone and texted Barry that they needed help.

Barry was at his job working on finishing the case file for the recent attack against Quake when his phone buzzed. He turned over to the phone and wondered what was going on when he saw that it was a message from Peter and saw it said something about a car chase.

Driving down the streets, Mary was trying to dodge the cars when suddenly a flash of lightning came speeding down the streets and behind the car. Barry sped around to the group of cars surrounding

Mary narrowly escaped the thugs, disappearing into the night as the gang cursed their missed opportunity. Barry however sped in front of the car and caused her to hit on the brakes. Barry watched the car swivel right before it could hit him and just missed Barry.

"Out of the car," Barry demanded, not aware of what was going on.

Mary raised her hands and exited out of the car. "This is a mistake, Barry."

"How do you know who I am?" Barry asks.

Mary then showed herself in the light, revealing herself to Barry. "I know a lot more than you could possibly imagine."

Barry brought them all back to STAR Labs and contacted everyone to meet him there. When they came to see that Mary Parker was there, a lot of them had a lot of questions, especially May when she saw her sister-in-law was alive. The only one still not around was Harry, but they weren't sure when or if he was gonna show up.

"I can see you have a lot of questions." Mary guessed.

"Definitely," MJ confirmed.

"Plenty," Gwen stated.

"Definitely," Teresa replied.

"How are you alive?" Iris was the first to ask. "Public records stated you died in the plane crash ten years ago."

"Yeah." Mary nodded. "It does. Because I hacked into the coroner's office and replaced my reports with one of the corpses that was destroyed beyond recognition. Changed the DNA sample, swapped it out with his, and since the records show there was no one on the flight but us we were the only two supposed to be on board."

"You faked your own death?" Joe asks.

"When the plane went down, I took a guess to say that whoever wanted me dead wasn't going to stop until they got proof of my death. It was the best way I could sneak around unnoticed, and I had help to stay hidden."

"Who?" Peter wonders.

Mary sighed and knew it was time for honesty. "Diana prince."

"Wonder Woman?" Teresa was shocked to hear this. "She was helping you?"

"She rescued me before search and rescue came around, and got me to a hospital to help this." Mary gestured to the scorch marks on her face. "I needed to disappear to assure that everyone would think I was dead, and that my enemies wouldn't target you kids."

"And what was that tonight?" Barry asks.

Mary nodded and shrugged. "yeah, I know, the irony is not beyond me." She then sighed and tried to explain everything. "You guys know about S.H.I.E.L.D., right?"

"Yeah," Barry nodded.

"We're familiar," Caitlin confirmed.

"Well, let's say there is more to the story than people know," Mary explained and tried to explain everything. "After the Nazis were defeated, Colonel Fury, Peggy Carter, and Diana Prince created S.H.I.E.L.D. They took the most dangerous and most valuable artifacts and scattered them in secret vaults across the world. These vaults were sealed and kept hidden from anyone, except for those who could open their vault. And only that bloodline can open one specific vault."

"So, Nick Fury, Diana Prince, and Carter are the only ones who can open the vaults of dangerous artifacts, right?" Joe wanted to make sure he was following.

"Basically." Mary shrugged.

"So, what does that have to do with them?" Iris asks.

Peter and Teresa however were following. "Because Peggy Carter is a relative," Teresa recalled.

"She's like our great aunt or something," Peter remembered.

"She's from Richard's family." Mary tried to explain to them. "Sharon's brother is Richard's father."

"So her DNA is within us," Teresa explained and then looked to Peter who raised his brow. "Or me at least."

"Enough of a strand to open the Vault," Mary confirmed.

"And who exactly is after this vault?" MJ wonders.

"Wilson Fisk. The Kingpin." Mary explained, using some computer on her wrist to show him on their screens.

"Whoa, big guy," Peter commented.

"He a Metahuman or something?" Joe asks.

"Nope. Just a big dude." Mary told them. "Trust me, he wasn't in Central City at the time."

"How do you know?" Cisco asks.

Mary sighed and decided to confess. "Because I was here. I keep tabs on Peter and Teresa from time to time."

"You do?" Peter asks. "How much?"

"I keep a fair distance, but...I do miss you, kids." Mary explained herself.

"Just not enough to tell us you're alive?" Teresa asks in slight anger.

"It was the only way to protect you guys." Mary defended herself. "I retired from my job to focus on you guys, but I was dragged into one last mission to learn what Wells was up to. But that provoked the magnitude of enemies to try and kill me in less than a day."

"And you've been surviving on your own?" Joe was surprised.

"Well, since the accelerator, it's been...easier," Mary admitted.

"What does that mean?" Peter asked.

Mary then closed her eyes, and they watched as Mary vanished in front of them. That caused a few of them to shriek and jump away in fright.

"Oh, god! She vanished!" Cisco cried in fear. "Is she a ghost?"

"No, I'm just invisible." Mary then reappeared across the room. "The stealth agent can camouflage. I feel that accelerator has a sense of irony in it."

"I mean, she's not wrong," Barry muttered.

"With everything we have seen, I mean..." Peter had to agree.

"So, what are you going to do?" Caitlin asks.

"Well, Fisk is after Peter and Teresa, thinking that they are his way of getting into the vault." Mary recapped everything. "Meaning that we need to get them out of the city."

"Why can't you just find this Fisk guy?" Joe asks.

"Because Fisk is going for the vault because he learned where it is. Sadly, Richard never really exposed where this vault was." Mary muttered, seemingly a little irritated. "And nobody else knows where it is. Not Diana, not Fury, and I still don't know how you hide a giant vault full of Nazi treasures."

"So, that's how you plan to stop this? Running forever?" Barry asks, not liking the idea.

"No, I've got a contact who knows where the vault is. And I was on my way there, when I got word Fisk was sending men to Central City to procure his entrance to the Vault." Mary explained as she looked at the kids.

"Also known as us." Teresa sighed.

"I am sorry. I never wanted you guys to be dragged into this. I tried my best to keep you safe, but the only way to keep you from getting killed is to stay with me." Mary tells them. "I promise, I'll answer any questions that you have, but we need to leave before Fisk's men come."

"Say you find the Vault, what's part 2?" Wanda asks.

"Set the vault to emergency shut down, and get the hell out." Mary recapped. "It won't be able to be reopened for another...five generations or so."

"How long?" Barry asks.

"A week at longest, and I need to go fully off the grid with them," Mary warned them. "I have a jet waiting for us already, and I promise I will bring them back safely."

Peter saw that a lot of people could be harmed if his mom indeed told the truth, and his senses weren't alerting him that there was any danger. He looked to Teresa and they seemed to both agree.

"We'll go," Peter promised.

"Are you sure?" MJ asked him.

"If people are in danger, we need to," Peter said. "You mind keeping eyes on Marko for me?"

"Of course," MJ promised.

Peter and Teresa were currently in a private jet and were flying above the ocean, showing that they were indeed leaving Central City, but they were not sure where they were going. Ironically, this was actually the first time the siblings were on an airplane. They left anything behind that Mary said could be used to track their location like watches, phones, and anything electronic.

"Relax," Mary tells them as she is handed a drink from one of the flight attendants. "We are safe for now."

"How could you be so sure?" Teresa asks. "If this Fisk guy is as dangerous as you say, then how does he not blow us out of the sky?"

"Because he is likely causing the decoy plane I sent out," Mary replied as she laid back. "Being awake for 72 hours is a pain. I am gonna take a rest. You two should also relax. We're not going to be landing anytime soon."

And indeed six hours later, the plane landed in some strange city that neither of them had ever heard of. But apparently, it was some strange place that is only known to a few, so that's not surprising.

"So, what is this place?" Peter asked as Mary finally woke up and the plane landed.

"Madripoor," Mary explained as she tapped the side of her face, and her scar vanished and was replaced with a tattoo. She saw the shocking look on her kids and shrugged. "Some old S.H.I.E.L.D. tech I held onto in the crash." She then grabbed her long overcoat and put it on. "This place is known as a bit of a haven for...specific people. And this is where my contact likes to hang."

"It doesn't really look like a place for us," Teresa commented. "I feel like kids are gonna stand out."

"You'd be surprised," Mary muttered.

Back in Central City, Caitlin was bringing in food for Flint. He and Peter would get lunch whenever Peter could and would talk. Peter learned a lot of interesting things about Flint and even got to know his daughter a bit through him.

"Afternoon, Flint," Caitlin said as she held out some food for him and put it through the machine to reach him.

"Where's the kid?" Flint wonders, taking the bag.

"Uh, kinda a long story," Caitlin said as Flint grabbed his food. "He's going to be gone for a few days."

Flint reached over and grabbed the handle to open the door. But there was a problem as he was actually having problems with grabbing the handle. Caitlin noticed this and became a bit worried. She recognized the difficulty and knew that there was something medically wrong.

"Flint?" Caitlin got his attention, trying to look at his hands through the glass. "You okay?"

Flint chuckled and saw this was something he needed to talk about. "No, I...I have to tell you something. But don't tell the kid."

"O...okay." Caitlin was getting worried.

"Let's just say that I'm not really all together anymore," Flint explained.

"When has this started?" Caitlin wonders.

"For me personally, it's been happening for a few years," Flint admits in sorrow. "I was diagnosed with a degenerative neurological disorder. I...think it's what caused me to pull the trigger that day. I thought it would have gone away after I became...this. But..."

"If this is serious, you should get help," Caitlin said in concern.

"Look at me, Caitlin," Flint said as he gestured to himself. "I'm made of sand anytime I'm out of this cell. And I'm not even able to pull all of me together anymore. If I leave this cell, I fear I actually may never be able to reform again."

caitlin became worried about this and looked out to the halls. "Does he know? Peter?"

"Never brought it up to the kid, and by some miracle, he hasn't noticed. He's still focusing on developing a cure and I don't need him dropping his whole life just to save mine. No, to me this is my pension for all my terrible deeds. And I'd like this to be kept between us. Doctor-patient confidentiality."

"Are you sure?" Caitlin asked him.

"I am sure," Flint said as he leaned back on his cell. "I shot a man. This is the least that I deserve."

Caitlin didn't know what she could do but respect his wishes and leave him be. But she wasn't going to just drop this. She saw Flint was suffering and wasn't going to be able to live a normal life or any life for that matter unless he received help.

Barry paced within Joe's home, his concern for Peter growing. Meanwhile, Wanda, who was also present, found his restlessness increasingly bothersome.

"Okay, either you stop him, or I might just shoot him to slow him down," Joe warns Wanda.

"Bare, come on, there's nothing we can do but wait." Wanda tried to calm her brother.

"Well, I found that I could pace," Barry replied.

"Bare, if there is trouble, Peter will find a way to contact us," Joe stated.

Then there was a knock at the door, making them get a little worried. Everyone they knew was already aware they didn't need to knock and would already enter without knocking. And with everything going on with super spies involved, that put them a bit on edge.

"Should we call for backup?" Barry asks.

"You are literally faster than light." Wanda reminded him as she approached the door. "And I am not getting a bad feeling."

"Yeah, and they haven't been wrong before." Barry scoffed.

"Uh, need I remind you I got a bad feeling around Wells, who turned out to be a killer?" Wanda asked.

"Okay, once," Barry replied.

"And when we met Jay, aka, Hunter Zoloman?" Wanda asked. "Maybe we should listen when I have a bad feeling and it could earn you less of heartache."

"She does have you there." Joe agrees with her.

"Really? Joe? You're taking her side?" Barry asked.

Wanda then opened the door and saw that it wasn't a dangerous criminal or psychotic FBI conspiracy agent at the door. In fact, it wasn't even an adult at the door. Who was at the door was actually a child. Well, child is a strong word. It was Jessica Drew, someone Wanda actually knew from Peter's school from giving him a ride on occasion.

"Oh, hey, Jessica, right?" Wanda asked as she turned back to the guys. "It's okay, it is not an FBI agent coming to kill us. It's one of Pete's friends."

"FBI Agent?" Jessica asked in concern. "Should I be worried?"

"Nah, just an inside joke," Wanda promised as she turned back to face her. "So, what's up?"

"Uh, Peter wasn't in school. And neither was Teresa. Just kinda wondering if they were okay." Jessica explained.

"And you came here...instead of his aunt's house?" Wanda questioned. "I would have gone there first."

"Yeah, I would have, too, but...uh, I know she works at F.E.A.S.T. during the day." Jessica admits.

"How do you even know this place?" Wanda wonders. "I don't remember you ever knowing it."

"This...would be better to explain inside," Jessica admits.

"Why?" Wanda wonders.

"Because let's just say I know a few other things," Jessica said in worry.

That got Wanda curious and opened the door. "Yeah, okay, you should come inside."

Jessica walked inside and saw Barry and Joe. "Officer West. Barry."

"Hi." Barry greeted her. "What is this about?"

"Well...I thought it would have been better to explain everything with you and Peter together." Jessica admitted with a sigh. "But...maybe I should talk to you first."

"Talk about what?" Barry asked.

"For starters, I know you're the Flash." Jessica proclaimed, causing the room to jump. "And that Peter is Spider-Man. And I took a guess to say Bobby is Iceman."

"Wow, okay, no tiptoeing." Wanda complimented. "I like her."

"And you are telling us you know this because...?" Joe wonders.

"Well, for starters..." Jessica opened her shirt to reveal her Spider-Woman outfit. "I am Spider-Woman."

Wanda chuckled. "Okay, wow."

"You're that girl who was attacked by the Spider-Slayer last year?" Barry asked.

"Well, a few months ago." Jessica shrugged, unaware of Barry's Flashpoint thing. "But that's not the only thing I needed to tell you. I have been wondering how to talk to you about it. I was waiting for him to tell you, but...I heard what happened."

"To who?" Barry wonders.

"Your dad," Jessica confessed, getting concerned and confused looks from everyone. "Because...your dad...he's also my dad."

And that was where Wanda dropped her drink.

Making their way out of the airport, Peter and Teresa stuck close to one another and raised their hoods. There seem to be many people out there with the same tattoo Mary has on. They had to guess it was a right of passage or something in this city. Not a lot of people had the mark, showing there was only a small group with it, but it was odd to consider what those marks meant.

"Just keep your heads down, follow me, and we will get out of this alive," Mary tells them. "These people find out you're humans, they will gut you."

"Well..." Peter muttered. "I'm not really a human."

"But you are with one. It doesn't matter if you're family to them."

"If they aren't human, what are they?" Teresa wonders.

"Come to Genosha." They heard an advertisement call out. "A Mutant safe haven away from people."

"Mutants?" Peter whispered.

"Came across a handful of them personally." Mary nodded as she turned, leading them to a hotel. "Come on, I'll get you two set up."

"Set up?" Teresa wasn't following.

"You think I am dragging the two wanted people in the back streets to where I am going?" Mary said as she was handed a key. "Something of a regular."

"Not weird at all," Peter said sarcastically.

They were then brought to a normal-looking hotel room where Mary headed to the closet. She opened it took an elegant black dress from it and walked with it into the bathroom.

"So, this contact..." Peter said as he looked over and saw there were a lot of photos of his life that he wasn't aware she was there for. There were a few of him as a child with Teresa, a few of them alone, and even a few recent ones like when he was on a date with MJ, and even had a circle around MJ's face. Seems his mom was keeping background checks on their friends and anyone they came into contact with. "...who is he?"

"Well, he is an old acquaintance of your dad technically," Mary said as she was still changing. "We met him while undercover. He's a pain, but Richard might have told him where the vault is."

"Why?" Teresa wondered as she looked over the photos. "Why would Dad give information like that?"

"Because..." Mary then stepped out of the bathroom with makeup, the dress, all on, and the scar she had was hidden to give her to look like her normal self. "He's a pain in the ass, and we wanna do whatever we could to shut him up." She then put some heels on as she strolled over to get her purse. "And if anything happened to us, he was supposed to be the one to go between."

"Okay, and what do we do?" Peter asks.

Mary shrugged. "Relax. Sit back. Watch some TV. I'll be back within the hour if all goes according to plan."

"And if not?" Peter asks.

"You'll hear the gunshots," Mary promised as she strolled out, revealing she had a gun hidden in her back.

"Are we really going to just sit back?" Teresa asks.

Peter denied that easily. "Nope." He then reached into his bag and revealed a small drone-shaped spider. "But I have a feeling we're not going to be able to follow her. Or won't be allowed to get inside."

"Sounds like kids aren't allowed, so that means that it's likely a casino." Teresa took a guess. "That's usually where spy things like this usually go down."

"Well, let's see what he finds," Peter stated.

"Okay, what is that?" Teresa wonders.

"It's a spider drone." Peter exploded as he placed it at the window and allowed the drone to fall into the bushes outside a window in the casino. There, he got a look at Mary who was making her way around the Casino. "There she is."

"Who is she going to visit?" Teresa wonders.

Mary walked around as she was looking for a certain someone. When she looked around, she watched some cards being flown into the air and caught by the same guy and knew she found her man. She walked over and saw he had two girls around his shoulders, which wasn't exactly new for him. She was actually used to this.

"Step right up, then - follow the spinning staff - take your best shot - if you dare." The man said with a strong French accent.

Mary approached the table and sighed. "Remy LeBeau."

The man with the cards stopped when he heard his name being called and sighed. "Mon Dieu. Mary." he then sighed and removed his hat to look up to Mary. "Look what the kitty cat dragged in. Mary Parker. Or do you just go by Fitzpatrick these days?"

"See Anne's metaphors are roughing up on you." Mary scoffed as she took a seat. "And it's still Parker."

"May Gambit deal you in?" Remy asked as he started to play the cards.

"No, I will only be a minute," Mary said as she looked around. "You seen anyone around?"

"By the bar." Remy gestured behind him, clearly showing Mary two men with hats, trying to blend in. "They've been eying me all night." Then he spun a card with a reflective surface, showing two men who were buzz cut and looked like men for hire. "They're a little less subtle. And we know our own kind. Enhanced."

"Any idea what they can do?" Mary wondered as she picked up some cards to blend in. "Laser eyes? Zappy fingers?"

"No clue," Remy admitted as he sighed and tossed Mary a card. "But let's get to why you're here."

"Richard's family vault." Mary nodded as she kept her eyes on the men at the bar. "You say you know where it is?"

"I've been around. Rouge found a few things. But I wonder...why would someone keep something like that a secret? Even from his own wife?"

"The less people know, the better in our line of work," Mary stated. "Now, you gonna tell me what you know?"

Remy kept his eyes on the hired men and tossed another card, when Mary grabbed it she looked and saw that the back contained a microchip.

"What's this?" Mary asks.

"The locations that are big enough to hide a big box of secrets," Remy explained as he played with the cards and they began to glow purple.

Mary nodded and quickly spilled the card into her dress. She then noticed the two men at the bar coming towards them, as well as the muscle Mutants. She kept her calm and waited for her chance to strike. The spider bot was watching everyone and the kids were beginning to worry.

"You are coming with us." One of them said, showing they were carrying a weapon. "Mr. Fisk wants a word."

"What are the chances our mom can fight two armed men and those big guys?" Teresa asked Peter.

"I...couldn't say," Peter admitted. "Think I should get involved?"

But when he said that, the ground began to shake, making them wonder what was going on. "I have a feeling this place is about to become a literal war zone."

Back down below, There was someone who was flying around and was swirling around twisters around the area and sending tables flying everywhere. Gambit was running and threw three cards that glowed purple, and they struck three people and sent them flying.

Mary was stuck barricading herself behind some of the tables that have miraculously not been flung by this man's whirlwinds.

But that luck was running out and Mary was beginning to be picked up when Spider-Man swung in and grabbed her. He swung them far enough from the wind that was blowing so she could stand.

"What are you doing?" Mary asked him.

"You're welcome." Peter scoffed.

"If you're here, who's watching your sister?" Mary asked.

Peter froze as he finally understood his mistake. "Uh.."

Mary then spotted three guys and opened fire on them, before Peter could even react. She then turned and kicked a man in the face with her heel, and sent him toppling.

"Whoa." Peter was impressed with her skills.

"Go!"

Teresa was anxiously awaiting news when she heard someone tampering with the door. In a panic, she seized the lamp from the wall; it was loosely attached and came off easily with a firm pull.

As she was waiting for the door to burst open, she heard what sounded like Peter's web thwipping, and grunting, and there was definitely someone hitting the floor.

The door then was burst open by Peter who was panting. "Okay...our mom is a badass."

Remy had made his way across the room and grabbed his staff hanging on the wall and trench coat. He looked around and saw a handful of people surrounding him and raised their guns.

"Gambit sees your hand." Remy proclaimed as he grabbed a grip on his staff. "And raises!"

Gambit spun swiftly and planted his staff into the earth, catching everyone off guard. He then selected three cards and hurled them into the eye of the whirlwind, triggering an explosion. The blast resulted in the mutant, who had been generating the turmoil, being tossed about and ultimately slammed into the ground.

Peter ran back into the room with Teresa close in as they watched as Mary was grabbed from behind and was then able to flip him over her, slamming him into the ground and punching him in the face.

Mary sighed as she stood up and saw her kids saw everything. "We should get out of here." She then looked over to her Mutant friend who was spinning his staff and smacked the last gunned man. "Remy? Tell Rogue I said hello."

Remy nodded as he tipped his imaginary hat. "Adieu, Mary Parker. And good luck."

"We're gonna need it!" Mary cried as she shoved her kids towards the exit. "Run!"

They made their way outside and tried to blend into the crowd. Mary however saw that didn't last very long since everyone they were surrounded by started to give them looks. Mary tried to keep her head down and tossed Peter a jacket to conceal his uniform.

"Put that on, mask off," Mary demanded.

Peter complied and did exactly that as they raced down the streets. But as they were running, a car swiveled and stopped right in front of them. They opened the doors and three men with guns came and aimed at the three of them.

"Hands up," Mary tells the kids.

"What?" Peter asked.

"Just do it!" Mary demanded, causing the two of them to do as she asked. When the men started to close in, they demanded they get on their knees. Mary and the kids did exactly as they asked and looked at her kids. "You know how to get out of here?"

"Without my web shooters?" Peter asked. "Maybe."

"Use them, but keep it on the low," Mary whispered.

Mary then felt these guys about to put handcuffs on her and sprung into action. She spun around the man, twisting his arm in the process then kicking him in the knee where she then punched him in the face. Peter used his powers to leap over and flip above the man, using his webs to cross his arms and shoot the webs right at their guns yanking them out of their reach.

Teresa then turned around and tried to punch one out, using the martial arts skills she was taught the last two years to spin and kick one out. Mary watched how her daughter accomplished it and she was impressed by how well she handled it. She then grabbed the keys as Peter punched out the last guy and they made their way towards the car. Once they were inside, they immediately started to drive off into the night.

"Where are we going?" Peter wonders.

"Somewhere safe," Mary promises.

"You're kidding." Harry Osborn said as he was on the phone with MJ, just now learning everything that happened the other night. "Mary Parker is alive? Wow, and are we sure this is okay to talk over the phone about? Like nobody is listening?"

"Wow, you are paranoid for a rich kid," MJ commented. "Anyone comes for you, they would come after everyone. But I have to say, you are taking the news of resurrection pretty well."

Harry then looked over to his father who he couldn't believe was alive. "Yeah, there seems to be a lot of that going around recently."

"What do you mean?" MJ wonders.

"I'll explain it to you later, let me know if you hear anything from Peter," Harry said as he hung up and walked over to his father. "So...how...?"

"Is it possible I am still alive?" Norman took a random guess at what his son was thinking. "Tell you the truth, I am just as surprised to be alive."

"Okay, but...how?" Harry asked.

"Tell you the truth, I am not entirely sure myself. I...awoke in some strange part of the city." Norman tried to remember everything. "And what is even weirder is that when I was awoken, I had all of these weird memories I don't recall happening. And a name echoing. Alchemy."

Harry froze when he heard that. "Alchemy?"

"You know who he is?" Norman asks.

"Uh...yeah," Harry confirmed. "We do. This could explain a few things."

Mary had been leading Peter and Teresa to a safe house that she had kept secure during her extensive travels around the world. Her ultimate goal was to locate Richard's vault using the data Remy had given her. She knew that finding the vault would be the key to keeping Kingpin at bay and ensuring the safety of her children. As they searched through the house, Mary was meticulously scanning the data to track the vault's possible location.

Meanwhile, Peter and Teresa were exploring the safe house. While searching, Teresa stumbled upon several albums and started flipping through them. The albums contained pictures of Teresa and Peter when they were young, as well as recent moments from their lives. It was clear that Mary had been keeping tabs on their lives, even when they didn't realize it. As she noticed them looking through the albums, Mary chuckled and smiled, revealing the scars on her face that she had hidden using a cloaking device while in Madripoor.

"Yeah, it might seem a little creepy, but I was keeping tabs on you kids," Mary admits with a shrug. "I knew I could never be a real part of your lives after what happened. I couldn't come out of hiding without putting the two of you in danger."

"Yeah, it kinda is creepy," Peter admitted. "But I think we get it."

"Yeah," Teresa admitted with a sigh. "Staying away is what kept us safe from all these guys so far."

"But would you have really stayed away from us if you never needed to see us?" Peter asked.

Mary nodded as she allowed her algorithm to do its thing. "Either until I could have returned safely and not risked your lives, or until I didn't need to question if all of you and your friends would be okay." She sighed and looked over to her kids and down at her knees. "I just guess I stayed away for so long, maybe I was thinking it would be best for me to stay away anyway."

Peter and Teresa walked towards their mother with open arms, and the moment they reached her, she pulled them into a tight embrace. Mary's eyes welled up with tears as she held her children close to her heart. Despite everything happening around her, her children were the only thing that mattered to her the most. She loved them unconditionally and would do anything in her power to protect them from harm.

Their moment was then interrupted when they looked and saw the computer finally found the location of the vault.

Flying their way over the sands of Egypt, Teresa was doing her best to avoid looking out the window. She has had this whole fear of heights since they were kids, and Peter was trying to comfort her. And since Kingpin's men were now hunting them, a commercial and even private jet were out of the question this time around, so they had to get a ride out with Remy. Luckily he has his own plane that he won in a game of cards.

"You good?" Peter asked.

"Yeah, I am fine," Teresa promised.

"Not to worry, we are almost there," Remy promised. "Gambit will make this ride as smooth as he can."

But that was when Mary's device went off and alerted her they were above the location. "Remy, we're here."

"What?" Remy asked. "There's nothing for hundreds of k's."

"Nope." Mary started as she opened the door and grabbed a parachute. The sudden wind caused Peter and Teresa to panic as Mary tossed them parachutes. "Gambit, keep flying. If they follow, we can't let them find this location. Odds are they aren't expecting us to make a jump."

"Jump?!" Teresa asked.

"You crazy?" Peter asked their mom.

"It's been suggested by my doctors," Mary admitted as she jumped from the plane.

"My god, that woman is insane." Remy comments.

Peter looked at Teresa and wondered her thoughts. "Wanna jump?" He asked her.

"What do we have to lose?" Teresa asked sarcastically.

The two of them then followed Mary as they pummeled to the middle of the Egyptian desert. They then activated the chute and made their way toward the ground. When they reached the ground, they saw Mary was already making her way over to what they were surprised to be the remains of a temple of sorts. They raced to catch up with her and saw they were being led to this location.

"We're here alright," Mary confirmed as she put the device away. "This is where the vault is."

"Here?" Peter asked as he looked around. "I don't see a vault, just ruins."

"Maybe that's not real." Teresa offered a solution. "Maybe they're markings."

"Not a bad thought." Mary had to agree with her daughter on that one. She started to look around, using a device to then scan the area in front of her. Then she got something that looked like it was a hatch designed to blend into the environment. "Here we are. You're up, son."

Peter strolled over and yanked the ground, revealing the stairway that leads downward into the ruins. "Okay, out of all the ways to hide a secret vault, this is the coolest way."

"Meh, I would have hidden it in the ocean," Teresa admitted as they made their way down into the vault. "Kept it on a loop where it can only be opened one day once a year or two."

"I'm gonna make a note of that," Mary admitted that wasn't a bad idea as she followed.

"My senses are telling me something is off down here," Peter warned them.

"Makes sense. Secret vault, likely some boobytraps on the way." Mary confirmed.

They made their way downward toward the bottom of the stairway and found themselves in the face of a giant vault. It was so dark that they needed to use some flashlights in order to actually get a look around the area. There were a lot of sketches and carvings in the vault that showed a lot of depictions of S.H.I.E.L.D. in its early days and its oldest versions of the logo.

"You know, for a secret organization, you sure love your theatrics," Peter commented.

"That's fair," Mary commented as she looked for the controls. "Okay, we almost made it. All we need to do is-"

Before she could finish, giant lights were activated that lit up the entire cave, spooking all of them. Then they heard what sounded like a cane clanking against the ground as a man chuckled and walked in front of the lights, giving the Parker family room to see.

"Well, well, Mary Parker." She knew that voice. "As I live and breathe."

"Fisk." Mary snarled.

Wilson Fisk stood in the light, his shadow towering over all of them. "How many times are we going to go over the same games, Mary?"

"As many times as it takes to stop you," Mary replied.

"Oh, but you are forgetting, Ma'am," Wilson said as a lot of armed men came into the room, raising their guns. "You are outgunned. Now, open the vault, or I will kill you all."

"You need us to open the vault, don't you?" Peter asked, shielding his sister from harm.

"Only your DNA. It never said anything about living." Wilson stated.

"And with Richard's body burnt to a crisp, you couldn't even use him." Mary guessed he already tried to use the dead for his benefit.

"Now..." Wilson said as his men readied to open fire. "Open the vault!"

Peter then got an idea as he raised his hands. "Alright!" He pleaded with them. "Don't shoot!" He then made his way towards the vault. "I'll do it."

"Good boy," Wilson said as Peter headed toward the vault.

Mary was starting to see what he was planning but wasn't sure what they were supposed to prepare for to happen when it rejected him. Peter stood in the scanner as it was beginning to scan him. When it began to glow red, they began to hear something luring in the darkness and a wall opened, revealing a giant robot. It scanned the room and found only one match for the DNA it was assigned to, which was Teresa.

The robot aimed a missile launcher at Fisk's men and they all opened fire on the robot as it began to strike them down. Mary grabbed Teresa and ran to try and escape, opening fire on the people who were still focusing on their mission to stop them.

Peter was in a hurry. He knew that he had to take action quickly to stop the robot before it caused any further damage. He saw an opportunity amidst the chaos and used it to sneak off and make his way into the darkness to change into his Spider-Man suit. As he emerged from the shadows, he landed on the robot's shoulder and began to attack it with his web-slinging abilities. However, the robot was too strong for him and quickly shook him off.

Meanwhile, Mary was making her way towards the controls. She had spotted Teresa and knew that she could use her to activate the controls. She quickly made her way to the console and began to work on it. She used the emergency shutdown to keep the vault shut down for years, effectively preventing Fisk from entering it. Once she was done, she joined Peter, who was still fighting the robot.

Peter knew that he had to come up with a better plan to destroy the robot. He swung around the robot, trying to find a weakness. As he dodged the robot's relentless attacks, he noticed a small opening in its armor. Peter quickly fired a web into the opening and pulled with all his strength, causing the robot to stumble.

Taking advantage of the robot's momentary weakness, Peter leaped onto its back and began to attack it with his web-shooters. He fired relentlessly at the robot's exposed wires and circuits until it finally fell to the ground, defeated. The robot fell with a loud thud, causing the cave to shake and eventually collapse. The debris from the cave-in also rained down on Fisk, who was trapped under the rubble.

"Did we do it?" Teresa asked.

"Maybe." Mary nodded. "But I thought Fisk was dead before. If there is one thing I know, he is not known to be one who stays dead." She sighed and reached for her phone to call them a flight home. "But for now...the vault is safe."

"So...we're done?" Teresa asked.

"Yeah," Mary confirmed with a smile. "This is not how I wanted things to go, especially for our reunion, but...we work with the world, not the other way around."

"Yeah, I hear that," Peter admitted and smiled at his sister. "Ready to go home?"

"Yeah," Teresa confirmed and looked at her mother. "Just...try not to stay away too long this time."

Mary nodded and smiled, happy that her kids still wanted her in their lives. The Watcher saw the whole thing from the stars and was happy to see how things turned out. "Secrets are not a trait specifically for humans. But...it is known best for humans. They keep secrets from others, each other, and even sometimes from themselves. They do this to protect others or even themselves. When those secrets are revealed, their reactions are always different. But they eventually end in one way. Understanding."

The Watcher then looked and saw that Peter and Teresa were now walking outside of May's house and were beginning to make their way for the door. "But do people hide secrets because they are ashamed, or is it because we don't want to learn how those we care about will react?"

Peter and Teresa opened the door and were expecting nobody but May, but he did send out an alert that said they were heading home after Mary let them use their phones on the plane. When they entered the home, they were surprised to see everyone in their family was there, as well as Jessica.

"Uh, hey, guys," Peter said in confusion. "What is going on?"

"You guys might wanna sit down for this," Barry tells them.
