Chapter 9: The Clovisland Pool Resort
At the Omotesando Mall...
Rin, Milly and Shirley were shopping for swimsuits to wear for the newly opened Clovisland Pool Resort that they were going to go with everyone from the Student Council after getting permission from Principal Ashford.
"Come on, Rin. What about this one?"Shirley suggested holding a yellow bikini. "You would look cute in this one."
Rin blushed how revealing the bikini swimsuit looked and immediately rejected it.
"Forget it, Shirley."Rin retorted with a frown. "I am not going to a swimsuit."
"Oh, quit complaining, you crybaby!"Shirley snapped as she looked for more swimsuits for her friend to wear. "The pool opens in a few hours and you're the only without a suit!"
Rin sighed irritably, but knew Shirley was right.
"I guess I won't be able to come then."Rin suggested.
Milly suddenly walked forward and looked at Rin with a smug look.
"Don't you worry about that, Rin."Milly assured with a wink and held up a pink bag. "I already bought a good swim suit for you to wear. It's from that shop that have outfits designed by Prince Clovis. And trust me it suits you."
"Great, Madam President."Shirley remarked. "Now all we have to go and get ourselves ready."
Rin cringed at Milly's sentence.
"How nice."Rin murmured with a nervous smile and thought."Since Clovis was a ladies' man, he had been designing many revealing or provocative swim suits and dresses for girls around my age. To think there are girls that wear such monstrosities and I'll be one of them."
Milly, Shirley and Rin notice a shelf filled with different kinds of sunglasses before they decided to check it out.
"Look at these sunglasses."Milly complemented.
"But they look expensive, Madam President."Shirley reminded.
"Not to worry."Milly assured.
Rin frowned and sweat dropped as she watched her two friends excitedly pick out the accessories they were going to wear for the pool resort.
"This is going to take a while."Rin murmured sourly.
Meanwhile...
Cornelia and Euphemia were in the dressing room at Prince Clovis' beach resort.
Euphemia picked out a black swim suit for Cornelia to wear though it appeared to be too revealing for the older princess.
The 2nd Princess of Britannia stared at the see-through lacy black bikini in front of her.
"Euphie, you really want me to wear that?"Cornelia asked with an unsure look.
"Yes. Isn't it cute?"Euphemia giggled."I think you're going to look dazzling, Cornelia."
"Well, don't you think it exposes too much of my-"Cornelia started.
"Not all."Euphemia remarked."Clovis designed it himself and this one is much more appropriate than the ones he came up with. Come on, hurry up!"
Euphemia walked forward to help Cornelia get dressed for the beach.
"Alright!"Cornelia answered."Alright!"
As Euphemia helped her older sister put on the swim suit, Darlton and Guilford were standing outside guarding the dress room.
"Her highness in a bikini. I can't wait to see this."Darlton declared dreamily."When my sons find out about this, they'll be so jealous!"
Guilford blushed at imagining his Princess wearing one of Clovis' designed swim suits.
"They're all Glaston Knights, aren't they? It's very admirable that you raised a group of orphan boys as your sons and trained them to be knights."Guilford stated."But what you just said is a bit improper isn't?"
"As always Gilbert, you have a huge stick up your ass."Darlton complemented.
"Yes, and it's part of my nature to be stiff."Guilford responded."And speaking of stiff, Lord Darlton."
"Hmm?"Darlton said.
"I realise it's our duty to protect her highness."Guilford stated."But trying to conceal a pistol in your swimsuit is rather pointless isn't?"
"Oh, is that obvious?"Darlton asked with a frown."I was afraid of this."
"Yes."Guilford agreed."And to be quite honest it looks rather bizarre."
"This isn't working at all."Darlton scoffed."I rather let it drop."
At the Clovisland Pool Resort...
Suzaku was dressed in a pair of blue swim trunks and was sitting at one of the tables with a wireless earpiece on.
Cecile laid contentedly on a pool chair under the shade of an umbrella. The dark purple haired woman wore a white one-piece that was edged and laced in red.
Suzaku and Cecile were asked to serve as guards for the event ahead, so they had to wear swimming clothing to blend in with the crowd.
"Miss Cecile?"Suzaku asked respectfully."Should we be out in the pool like this?"
"It's okay."Cecile answered as she was relaxing in a pool chair enjoying a little sunbathing."Nobody knows Cornelia is the guest speaker today, so you can relax. They definitely won't be needing an Knightmare. Besides Lloyd would be here, if there was a problem."
"It's a shame he didn't come with us."Suzaku said.
"That's not what I meant."Cecile replied.
Suzaku smiled. "You look great in that swimsuit."
Cecile gasped in surprise and embarrassment.
"You shouldn't tease me like that, Suzaku."Cecile warned quickly."It's not nice."
"I wasn't teasing."Suzaku chuckled.
Lelouch, Nunnally, Rin and Sayoko arrived to the beach resort with Milly and the rest of the Student Council.
Milly wore a red bikini with a pair of sunglasses on top of her head.
Shirley wore a two-piece light green swimsuit with a skirt-like attachment.
Rivalz wore orange swim trunks.
Rai wore a mint green swimming trunk and had a brown cap on his head.
Nina wore a very modest one-piece light yellow swimsuit with a sun hat atop her head.
Kallen wore a black swim suit with a raspberry red t-shirt around her bikini bra while her hair was in its usual style.
Alice wore a magneta pink swimsuit with a flower pattern and spaghetti straps with the top and bottom lined with ruffled strips. On her feet she wore matching pink sandals.
Nunnally's long sandy brown hair was tied in two cute pigtails with daisy hairbands on them and wore a checkered light pink two-piece that was cut straight across, but showing no cleavage.
Sayoko wore a white green sundress and her hair bun was held in place with a large yellow bandana.
Lelouch wore a black speedo, an unbuttoned cyan blue dress shirt on top, a shark tooth necklace circled around his neck and held a large inflatable pig under his arm.
Rin wore a light blue tankini that tied at the back of the neck and a fake front tie in the center of the bust. The neckline was hemmed with white ruffles and on each side of the bust was a pinkish-tan five-point starfish. She also wore a short light blue waist shawl with white polka dots and matching light blue sandals. On her right wrist was a delicate light blue rope bracelet with a thin silver chain on both sides. On her dark chestnut brown hair was a light blue starfish clip on it.
The brunette blushed in embarrassment at the swimming costume she wore as she followed her friends.
"I feel like a prostitute model."Rin retorted in a sour tone.
Lelouch chuckled as he started at Rin's figure from head to toe.
"Relax, Rin."Lelouch assured with an amused smile."You look great and I got a say your swimming suit leaves so little to the imagination."
Rin blushed furiously at Lelouch's words and glared at him while fidgeting with her white volleyball.
"Thanks a lot."Rin scoffed quietly.
When no one was looking, the former prince placed a kiss on the brunette's own cheek causing her to blush more, making every male around them to glare daggers at him.
Shirley spotted Suzaku when they arrived inside the pool area.
"Huh?"Shirley said in surprise. "Suzaku?"
Suzaku turned around to see Shirley and everybody else from the Student Council.
"Hey, there!"Milly greeted with a wave.
"That's a surprise!"Shirley remarked."What are you doing here?"
"Oh, you guys are here too?"Suzaku asked.
"Well, I am kind of a local celebrity you know."Milly responded."The Ashford Principal contacts and all. So, I got a VIP invitation and I just brought everyone along."
"Everyone?"Suzaku questioned.
Suzaku looked back further and saw Sayoko pushing Nunnally's wheechair while Lelouch and Rin were walking next to her.
"Oh! Lelouch! Nunnally!"Suzaku responded with a smile."And Rin!"
"Suzaku!"Nunnally called out in joy.
"Hey."Lelouch greeted.
"Hi, Suzu."Rin said with a wave.
"I didn't expect you two to show up."Suzaku exclaimed.
"We had to."Nunnally responded."When we heard they finished designing the big pool designed by my big brother- I mean Prince Clovis. I had to come and swim in it."
"Swim?"Suzaku said in confusion."But isn't that..."
"I can't kick my legs. But I can still paddle around in the water, you know."Nunnally explained and smiled shyly."So Suzaku do you want to come and swim with me? I bet it will be lots of fun."
"I'd love to."Suzaku admitted."Really. But I am sort of on duty right now."
"On duty?"Lelouch asked in surprise.
Suzaku nodded at Lelouch while Rin glanced at Nunnally.
"Are you sure you want to go, Nunnally?"Rin asked in concern."There's going to be a crowd and I don't want you to get hurt."
"It will be fine, Lynn."Nunnally assured with a gentle smile."I have you and my brother to protect me."
Rin smiled at Nunnally before bringing her attention on Suzaku.
"So you're going to be busy all day, Suzu?"Rin assumed.
"That's right, Rin."Suzaku agreed."You should be safe in this distance. But you three better be careful. You see..."
Rai walked up to Kallen when he noticed she didn't look at ease.
"Hey."Rai said as she walked up to Kallen."You're settling in okay?"
"Oh yeah."Kallen answered simply."The resort is nice."
"Is it bothering you?"Rai suggested.
Kallen shook her head at the silver haired boy.
"It's not that, Rai."Kallen answered.
Nina let out a soft gasp as she stared at something that caught her attention.
"What got you excited, Nina?"Rivalz asked.
"It's her."Nina answered with a soft yet excited joy.
The others followed Nina's gaze as the crowd clapped when Princess Cornelia and Euphemia made their appearances on the stage located on the far side of the swimming pool grounds that welcomed them.
Cornelia's black bikini was complete lacy gauze-like fabric that had black straps encircling her body and legs. The top connected at a collar on her neck and wore matching fingerless gloves in her hands.
Euphemia wore a white bikini with a see-through pink top that connected with a pink encirclement below her revealing stomach.
The pink haired princess watched as her older sister gave a speech to the crowd.
"Today, I am pleased to announce that the Clovis Land Pool, one of many public work projects done by my dear brother, has been safely completed!"Cornelia announced."This recreational facility shall serve as a tribute to all those here in the colony, who dedicated their lives to build the national prestige of Britannia! As we strike to bring enlightenments to the Elevens!"
Rin was dumbstruck at seeing the li sisters wearing swim suits that were different but seemed to be the ones made by Prince Clovis.
Rin's own bikini, for as revealing as it was, was far more modest compared to the black bikini Cornelia was wearing what appeared to be some black strings holding a few patches of cloth together that covered specific areas, but just barely.
Euphemia's own bikini was similar, but hers was purple instead of black with a white top and bottom underneath alongside some thin pink cloth that provided some modesty.
"How can they wear those indecent things with so much confidence?"Rin questioned in disbelief."I'm so jealous."
"I guess because they're princesses and don't want others to see that they are embarrassed of what they wear."Alice answered simply.
Rin noticed a hateful look that Lelouch was giving to Cornelia which made her a bit worry.
"Why is he looking at her with such hatred in his eyes?"Rin thought in concern.
Shirley notice Lelouch's look on Cornelia causing her to whisper to Milly.
"Madam President, see how Lulu is watching her?"Shirley whispered."He is so intense. It's like he wants to jump on her."
"Oh well."Milly responded smugly."That's only natural for a high school boy seeing a woman with outstanding proportions. Right, Suzaku?"
"Uh...I guess."Suzaku replied.
Rin glared at Milly.
"You have such a dirty mind, Milly."Rin muttered.
"Oh, tell me what Princess Cornelia looks like?"Nunnally asked with a hint of curiosity of boys admiring her older half-sister."What is it that the boys like about her so much."
A mischievous smile grew on Milly's face.
"Well, I hear she likes to train her male subjects in certain ways."Milly chuckled.
"What are you saying, Madam President?"Shirley scoffed.
Nunnally smiled as she placed her hands together.
"In that case, Lelouch."Nunnally said.
"What is it, Nunnally?"Lelouch asked.
"I wanna be as popular as Princess Cornelia!"Nunnally declared happily."Teach me everything she does!"
Shirley looked at Nunnally with a stunned expression.
"What?!"Shirley gasped."Nunna, you too?!"
"I thought this would be necessary eventually."Lelouch admitted with a smile. "Alright Nunnally, I'll teach you everything I know in detail."
"Lelouch..."Rin started with an unsure look.
"Get ready."Lelouch instructed."I won't hold back."
"Okay!"Nunnally giggled."I'll try as hard as I can! I'll do everything it takes to satisfy you!"
Rin's face turned bright red as she covered her mouth and looked to her left while Milly laughed lightly.
"Ooh, isn't this one of those beautiful but dangerous relationships?"Milly asked.
"Oh no!"Shirley panicked in shock."This is so wrong! Lulu!"
Soon after Cornelia's speech, everyone went to have fun under the sun.
The Student Council immediately headed into the pool while Sayoko and Alice helped Nunnally laid down so that she can use her hands to paddle on the water.
Nina lay on a chair, under the shade, and kept wiping copious amounts of sunblock onto her pale skin while reading a book on physics.
Sayoko watched nearby, her feet resting on the stairs beneath the cool water.
Thankfully, the rest of their time at the Clovisland Pool was uneventful which was helped by the fact that Cornelia had no desire to linger in the open wearing such swimwear.
Even Lelouch was mindful, on guard and thankfully they were far enough away that neither Cornelia nor Euphemia could see them.
"Better think fast, guys!"Rivalz laughed and launched his hands on the water."Fire!"
Rivalz threw a big water wave making Lelouch and Rai all wet.
Lelouch's eyebrow twitched in annoyance.
"Alright...you asked for it!"Lelouch said with a irritated smirk.
Lelouch started to hit Rivalz back with a water wave, only for Rivalz to dodge and the attack ended up hitting Milly, Rin and Shirley.
"Water fight!"Rin shouted joyfully.
Milly, Rin and Shirley started having a water fight with Rivalz, Lelouch and Rai as Kallen looked at the sight while sweat dropping.
"They are acting like a bunch of kids."Kallen scoffed.
Kallen became alarmed when she saw in the water approaching Rin from behind.
"Rin!"Kallen called out."Behind you!"
Rin stopped throwing water and turned around at Kallen's water and freaked a bit when something burst out of the water.
The figure revealed to be Kaguya wearing a mask and a snorkel to help her breath under water.
Kaguya wore a crimson bikini top trim with white ruffles around the bottom and thin straps with covering the front was a large white ribbon covered in red dots. She also wore a crimson bathing suit bottom with white ruffled fabric sewn around the top, adorned with polka-dots and a red string bow on the side. Her long black hair was tied in a ponytail with a crimson red ribbon.
The black haired girl lifted up her swimming mask on her head and removed the snorkel in her mouth.
"Hi there!"Kaguya greeted with a cheeky smile.
"Kaguya?!"Rin said in shock."What are you doing here?"
"Thank goodness I made it in time, Rin!"Kaguya remarked and started to complain."That was so mean of you, the way you headed off to the pool resort without me! I'm so happy that I found the extra ticket for the event right under your cushion!"
Rin scowled at her foolish mistake of hiding her ticket in such an easy place.
"You what?"Rin scowled and then frowned at the swimming suit that her cousin wore. "Care to tell me why you couldn't wear something more appropriate? You're too young to wear something like that."
Kaguya let out a giggle.
"If I came out wearing my dress, it will look like I'm working."Kaguya answered and smiled mischievously."You don't seem to mind boys seeing you in that swimsuit."
Rin's face turned bright red as she hugged her chest.
"The time was short!"Rin snapped."Don't judge me!"
Rai looked at Rin.
"You know this girl, Lynn?"Rai asked.
A sigh escaped from Rin's mouth.
"Yes."Rin answered before introducing Kaguya to the Student Council. "Everyone this is my little cousin, Kaguya Sumeragi. Kaguya, this is Milly Ashford the Student Council President of Ashford Academy. This is Shirley. The silver haired is Rai. The one in blue hair is Rivalz. The red haired over there is Kallen. And the Vice President is-"
Kaguya squealed at seeing Lelouch before hugging him by the waist.
"Lelouch!"Kaguya squealed, hugging the former prince."I knew it! You were alive along!"
"Nice to see you too, Kaguya."Lelouch answered with a smile.
Shirley became jealous to see Kaguya hug Lelouch.
"Hey!"Shirley complained."She's hugging Lulu!"
"Chill out, Shirley."Rivalz assured smugly."She's the same age as Nunnally."
Rai looked at Rin.
"So Kaguya knows Lelouch and Nunnally?"Rai suggested.
"Yeah."Rin responded as she watched Kaguya introduce herself to Nunnally and Alice. "She's also a cousin of Suzaku beside me. The first time she met Lelouch was when we were kids and she mistook him for the 'demon of the forest'."
"Seriously?"Rai chuckled.
Rin nodded at him before her smile vanished when she remembered her parents.
"Kaguya lost her parents in the war just like I did, so we both got big amount of responsibility on our shoulders as members of Kyoto."Rin explained."Which is also why we take care and support each other like sisters."
"So you two look up to each other for support as well?"Rai guessed."You seem like a good sister figure."
"Thanks."Rin thanked gratefully.
Milly walked over to Rin to whisper in her ear.
"Does Kaguya know that Lelouch and Nunnally are-"Milly started.
"She does know they're royalty, Milly."Rin responded quietly."But I told her that they are hiding and go under the surname Lamperouge."
"I see."Milly replied.
Milly and Rin smiled at each other before they went to continue to have in the pool with everybody else.
Euphemia giggled as she dipped her feet into the pool that was a few yards away from where the Student Council was.
Cornelia stood beside her younger sister and let out a exasperated sigh.
"Are you bored, Cornelia?"Euphemia asked, a look of disappointment coming over her face. "We could leave if you really want to. Although..."
Despite a deep desire to wear actual clothes and be on the battlefield, Cornelia's heart cracked at the look on Euphemia's sad face, forcing her to give her a smile.
"No, no. I'm fine, Euphie."Cornelia insisted."Go have fun."
Euphemia went into the pool, only for and Cornelia to get surrounded by a bunch of fanboys.
"Look! It's Princess Cornelia and Princess Euphemia!"
"Hey, gorgeous!"
Euphemia sweat dropped at their admirers while Cornelia scowled at them.
Guilford and Darlton immediately came forward to defend the li sisters.
"That's as far as you'll get!"Dalrton declared.
"Show some respect to royalty!"Guilford snapped.
The Student Council and Kaguya went to the ice dessert parlour to get themselves some treats.
"I want a mango shaved ice."Rai instructed.
"I want mine with blue bubblegum."Shirley remarked.
"One cola for me."Rivalz responded.
"I want one with strawberry syrup and milk."Shirley stated.
"Make mine with cherry syrup."Alice informed.
"A soft served ice cream for me."Nina said gently.
"I want a blue Hawaii."Rin insisted.
"I want my shaved ice with piña colada!"Kaguya added.
Rin gives Kaguya a suspicious glare.
"You sure got pretty mature tastes."Rin retorted.
Kaguya closed her eyes and grinned mischievously at her cousin.
Rai and Kallen both ordered their shaved ice with matcha flavour and red beans.
"This shaved ice flavour is really good."Rai complemented.
Kallen nodded with a soft smile.
"Yes, it is. It was one of the desserts I used to enjoy eating with my brother when I was still little."Kallen replied and got an idea."Hey, Rai?"
Rai looked at Kallen.
"It might be possible that you could be Japanese."Kallen assumed."Most of the things you love to eat are from Japanese."
"Maybe you're right, Kallen."Rai suggested."Perhaps, I could be half-Japanese like Lynn."
"Perhaps."Kallen replied.
Lelouch, Nunnally and Sayoko stood nearby with their ice treats, waiting for their friends to get theirs.
The former prince of Britannia was scanning around the pool resort while drinking his fizzy soda can. He suddenly choked on his drink when some thing caught his attention.
Euphemia and Cornelia were heading their way with their bodyguards in tow!
"What's wrong, big brother?"Nunnally asked.
"We have to go."Lelouch murmured and looked at Sayoko."Miss Sayoko, we need to move away from here."
"As you wish, Master Lelouch."Sayoko responded.
Sayoko moved Nunnally away from the ice dessert parlour as Lelouch grabbed Rin by the wrist.
"Uh, Lelouch."Rin said, surprised by his action. "What's going on?"
"Cornelia and Euphie are coming this way."Lelouch retorted.
A shocked look grew on Rin's face.
They should've taken Suzaku's warning and seemed now they were going to pay the price.
"That's not good."Rin said worriedly."What we're going to do?"
Lelouch frowned before an idea came into his mind.
"I need you to kiss me."Lelouch stated.
Rin became shocked at Lelouch's request.
"Heh?!"Rin shrieked while blushing furiously."Out here in public? With everyone-"
"You and I will have to engage in some inappropriate behaviour until they get their snacks and leave."Lelouch exclaimed."This will also keep Darlton and Guilford from seeing our faces and exposing us."
"I…uh…."Rin stuttered.
"Just trust me."Lelouch insisted with a smirk.
Rin nodded shyly with her cheeks brightly pink before laying herself on a beach chair before Lelouch went on top of her.
Lelouch closed his eyes and then leaned down to kiss the embarrassed brunette.
Rin's eyes exploded in surprise and she reflexively tensed to push Lelouch away.
But as his warmth spread through her, she relaxed and wrapped her arms around his waist.
The kiss was fierce and hungry, but also gentle and assuring.
People could be watching them and neither of them wouldn't care.
"Guys?"
Lelouch and Rin stopped their interaction when they saw Suzaku coming towards him.
But they were relieved that the li sisters and their guards were no longer in sight.
"Hey, Suzaku!"Rin greeted quickly while fiddling with one of the 'twirls' on her hair. "What's up?"
"Aren't you supposed to be on duty?"Lelouch asked.
"I was. But they let me go."Suzaku explained with a smile."So it looks like I'll be able to spend time with you guys."
"Though still being in the Britannian Military?"Rin questioned."Seriously, Suzu. How the heck do you handle those racist clowns?"
"It's not that bad, Rin."Suzaku commented."It's rough, but I'm really making a difference."
Lelouch frowned at his other best friend's words.
Rin scoffed. "Keep telling yourself that."
"It doesn't matter how many Japanese people become Honorary Britannians, Suzaku."Lelouch the Britannians, they will always see them as numbers and slaves."
Suzaku opened his mouth to say something until a familiar voice rang out.
"Suzaku!"
Kaguya rushed forward and launched Suzaku into a hug.
"Kaguya, your here too?"Suzaku said.
"Yeah, Suzaku."Kaguya remarked."I missed you so much."
Kaguya suddenly frowned and punched Suzaku in the arm.
"Ow!"Suzaku groaned and rubbed his arm.
"That was for making me so worried about you."Kaguya informed."Couldn't you just stop by and visit sometime?"
"Well, uh…"Suzaku started.
"His been busy, Kaguya."Rin commented bluntly."Very busy."
Suzaku smiled sheepishly at Rin's respond.
Nunnally and Alice were relaxing together on a long inflatable float, enjoying a little sunbathing in the pool while Sayoko was keeping an eye on them.
"Is the sun too hot for you, Nunnally?"Alice asked.
Nunnally shook her head.
"Not at all, Alice."Nunnally remarked."The weather feels just right."
Alice smiled at her best friend.
Nunnally reminded her so much of the little sister she lost in a accident along with their loving parents. So, that why she always wanted to be there for her.
Rai and Rivalz swam over to Alice and Nunnally.
"Hey, Alice and Nunnally?"Rai spoke up, earning the sandy brown haired girl's attention. "Do you guys want to play chicken fight?"
"Chicken fight?"Nunnally giggled, finding the name funny."What's that?"
"It a pool game that involves knocking your opponent off of their partner's shoulders."Rivalz exclaimed.
"Cool."Alice replied and looked at Nunnally."Want to give it a try? Don't worry. We'll help you out."
"Uh, okay."Nunnally answered with a smile.
Euphemia munched on her vanilla strawberry ice cream, enjoying its cool sweetness.
The pink haired princess was looking around the pool resort after carefully sneaking away from Cornelia and their bodyguards.
Everything seemed normal.
There were young couples, families with young children, some old people and a couple of teenagers.
That was when she heard an adorable yet innocent laughter rippled through the air.
It was a very familiar laughter which made her froze a bit.
The laughter belonged to someone very dear to her. Or perhaps, it was her imagination just playing with her?
Euphemia arrived to a pool where she found a group of teenagers, mostly likely students, having a chicken fight. Obviously, a game that was sometimes known as a shoulder war.
It was two boys carrying two girls that appeared to be a few years younger than them.
However, the pink haired princess' eyes glued on the young girl with sandy brown that was braided.
The one being carried by the spiky silver haired boy.
"Nunnally?"Euphemia said in awe.
Alice and Nunnally laughed together as they playfully pushed against each other.
"Uh oh!"Rivalz sneered."Looks like you and Nunnally are going down, Rai!"
"Come on, Nunnally!"Rai encouraged."You are getting there!"
WHAM!
Suddenly, a volley ball whacked into Alice's face, sending her and Rivalz into the pool as Rai winced at the sight.
"What happened, Rai?"Nunnally asked.
"It looks you won the fight."Rai informed.
Alice and Rivalz emerged out of the water as Kallen, Shirley and Milly rushed towards them.
Milly sweat dropped. "It seems your volley ball skills still need improvement, Shirley."
Shirley went over to Alice as she went off the pool.
"Oh, my gosh!"Shirely panicked. "I'm so sorry, Alice! Are you hurt?"
Alice scowled in annoyance as she rubbed her nose .
"No."Alice grumbled bitterly."You just better hope you don't come face to face against me in P.E classes at school."
Shirley gave Alice a nervous chuckle.
"Yeah."Shirley agreed."That would be for the best."
Rai carried Nunnally out of the pool in a bridal style way to put her back in her wheelchair before Sayoko placed a towel around her.
"Thank you for carrying me in the game, Rai."Nunnally thanked brightly."I've had lots of fun."
"No problem."Rai remarked before giving her wave."See you later."
Rai left as Sayoko looked at Nunnally.
"Shall I bring you to the shower area, Miss Nunnally?"Sayoko asked."Your brother and Lady Rin are waiting for you there."
Nunnally nodded. "Okay, Sayoko."
Sayoko brought Nunnally to the shower area of the pool resort where Lelouch and Rin were waiting for them.
The Japanese maid then left the two siblings alone with their childhood friend.
"Did you have a fun time, Nunnally?"Lelouch asked.
"Yes, big brother."Nunnally agreed happily."I had such a fun time playing at the pool resort. I'm so glad I didn't miss it."
"We definitely should, Nunna."Rin chuckled.
"It really is you three."
Lelouch, Nunnally and Rin froze at the female voice that they suddenly heard.
There stood before them was Euphemia li Britannia stood with her hands clasped together right in front of them.
The pink haired princess started walking towards them.
"Euphie."Lelouch said."Weren't you were with-"
"I was with Cornelia."Euphemia responded."But I decided to look around after I told her I was going to take a shower."
"Sister Euphie."Nunnally asked with a soft smile as tears of joy begin to develop in her eyes."Is it really you?"
Euphemia bent down to hold Nunnally's hand.
"Yes, Nunnally."Euphemia answered."It's really me."
Overcoming her shock, Rin gave a friendly smile to Euphemia.
"Hi, Euphie."Rin greeted."It's been such a long time."
Euphemia gave Rin a hug, feeling happy to see her alive and well like her long-lost favourite siblings.
"Rini! I'm so glad your alive!"Euphemia remarked."I thought you died in the invasion!"
Lelouch's upset expression vanished and got replaced with a soft smile.
Euphemia was the sister he cared about after Nunnally and used to always visit them when they were still living in Aries Villa.
Suzaku then showed up, only to become shocked to find Euphemia next to Lelouch, Nunnally and Rin.
"S-Sub-Viceroy!"Suzaku panicked as he turned between the two standing siblings and his other best friend."I can explain-"
"It's alright, Warrant Officer Kururugi."Euphemia assured kindly and wiped her tears away."You were keeping members of the Imperial family safe and for that you will be rewarded."
"Princess Euphemia…"Suzaku said.
Rin cleared her throat to earn her friends' attention.
"Euphie."Rin spoke up."As much as it is nice to see you again, it's best that you keep this a secret."
"What do you mean, Rini?"Euphemia asked."Cornelia and everyone else thinks you, Lelouch and Nunnally are dead. They'll become happy if I told them. Even my fath-"
Lelouch's anger and hatred suddenly rising for his family resurfacing on his face at the mention of the Emperor.
"We aren't going back, Euphemia!"Lelouch snapped."Not now! Not ever!"
Euphemia's eyes widened. "B-But..."
"We've been alive for so long after the war, but we've let ourselves be presumed dead by all. And you know why is that?"Lelouch questioned, his fury rising."Because we don't want to become pawns of the Empire again!"
Nunnally flinched at the reminder of their father's cruel act of sending them away eight years ago.
That happened after their beloved mother was killed in Aries Villa. Since she was caught in the crossfire, she lost her ability to see and walk. Nothing was ever the same after that.
"But things will change. It will get better."Euphemia suggested."And you can get to live in Aries Villa like before."
Lelouch shook his head.
"No, Euphie. Regardless, if you think things will get better for us, it actually won't."Lelouch answered with a frown."The Emperor used us after our mother, Empress Marianne, a commoner by birth, was assassinated in our own home. She maybe have been a knight of the round, but she was still treated cruelly by the other imperial consorts. Though not by your mother, Empress Victoria. If we come back to Pendragon, we'll just be used and get thrown away."
Nunnally held Lelouch's hand with a worried look on her face.
"Please, Sister Euphie. Don't tell big sister Cornelia, you saw us."Nunnally begged. "Me, Lelouch and Lynn are very happy here in Japan. Please don't tell anyone."
Euphemia let out a sad sigh.
"Okay, Nunna. I promise, I'll never tell anybody I saw you. Not even Cornelia."Euphemia stated and looked at Rin."You want the same thing too, right Rini?"
Rin nodded at the pink haired princess.
"Yes, Euphie. I maybe from the Rossellini family, but I'm not entirely recognised by the whole family."Rin exclaimed."Not even by own grandfather."
"So you don't want to see you father either?"Euphemia assumed.
A confused look appeared in Rin's face at the mention of her father.
"Euphie. My father. The Viscount Rossellini was killed in the war."Rin stated."He and my mother have been dead for eight years."
Euphemia covered her mouth in disbelief.
"Oh my gosh."Euphemia said quietly."You really don't know?"
"Don't know what?"Rin asked.
The 3rd Princess of Britannia was silent for a moment before replying.
"Rin, your father is alive."Euphemia declared."His been living in your home villa in Florence for the last eight years after Japan was invaded."
Shocked looks appeared on Rin, Lelouch, Nunnally and Suzaku's faces at Euphemia's declaration.
So a major plot twist and not so canon.
