Chapter 14: The Battle of Narita Part 2
In the Narita Mountains…
80% of the Britannian forces had been wiped out by the landslide caused from Kallen's Knightmare, the Guren MK-II.
Darlton and a couple of his soldiers were trying to assess the situation.
"What are our losses?"Darlton asked.
"I've only got a signal from 20% of our forces."the first soldier reported.
"20%?"Darlton said in shock. "Our command structure can't sustain this."
In the ASEEC Trailer…
Lloyd, Cecile and Suzaku were getting reports of the Britannian Forces being wiped out from the landslide caused by their opponents.
"Lloyd, what's going on?"Suzaku asked.
"Umm, it's very unnatural."Lloyd declared.
"Unnatural?"Suzaku questioned in confusion.
"There seems to be an unconfirmed report that the Black Knights have appeared."Lloyd declared.
Suzaku frowned. "Zero…"
"Congratulations, this is our chance."Lloyd remarked with a hint of excitement.
"Lloyd."Suzaku said.
"You're so rash."Cecile retorted.
"Whoa?"Lloyd responded. "Why is that?"
"Would you like a detailed explanation?"Cecile suggested.
"Eeh, no, I will pass."Lloyd replied slightly. "Anyway, while the high command's still gathering data, all we can do is play by ear, right?"
In the G1 Mobile Base…
The staff officers were trying to locate Princess Cornelia as well as learn if she was alright.
"Is the Viceroy safe?"the first staff officer asked.
"Yes, she was outside the mudflow."the second staff officer replied. "But the units guarding her flank were lost. That means she's totally isolated."
"Have you tried contacting Viletta or Kewell?"the third staff officer questioned.
"Tried!"the fourth staff officer answered. "But I can't reach them!"
In the Narita Mountains…
The Guren Mk-II fought against Kewell's Sutherland, but easily defeated it.
"C'mon, move! I can't lose to Elevens!"Kewell scowled. "I am a Britannian!"
Kewell wasn't able to eject from his cockpit and got killed when his Sutherland exploded.
"Lord Kewell!"Villetta yelled out.
Zero gave the Black Knights their next order.
"All right. Guren Mk-II, move to planned point."Zero ordered. "We'll break through the rest of their line and take Cornelia."
"Right."Kallen responded.
Shade saw Villetta's Sutherland unit coming her way.
"Zero, some Pure Bloods are coming our way."Shade warned. "Mind if I take care of them?"
Zero smirked. "You have my permission."
Villetta was leading the remaining Pure Blood Sutherlands to fight against the Black Knights.
"Fight to the death!"Villetta snapped.
Villetta's Sutherland attempted to use her gun to shoot members of the Black Knights that didn't have any Knightmares, but the Rosen appeared in front of her.
"I'll make this quick."Shade informed.
"Filthy Eleven!"Villetta snarled.
The Rosen easily dodged the missile attacks from the gun of Villetta's Sutherland.
The pink coloured Knightmare then took out the blade-like weapon attached on its back to slash off the arms of Villetta's Sutherland.
"You-"Villetta growled.
Shade smirked. "You should've never underestimated me."
The Rosen unleashed her slash harken as a final attack, destroying the Sutherland and forcing Villetta to eject.
"Lady Villetta!"A pilot shouted.
"You'll pay for that!"the second pilot retorted.
An unfazed look appeared on the Rosen's face.
"I hate proud men."Shade retorted.
The Rosen proceeded to wipe out the remaining Pure Bloods while Naoto's group went to help the Knightmares of the JLF.
"Rin, me and my group in the meantime will go aide Zero and the rest."Naoto declared.
The Rosen cuts in half the last Sutherland, killing the pilot inside before placing its sword behind its back again.
"No problem, Naoto."Shade assured and glanced at her comrades. "Alright, everyone. Let's go and help the Japan Liberation Front. We're done here."
"Alright, Shade!"Sugiyama responded.
Zero and the Black Knight members that were with him headed toward their target.
"That's right. Move swiftly."Zero thought."If you survive this battle, you can call yourself a true warrior. And afterward…"
In the G1 Mobile Base…
"The Pure Bloods have been defeated?!"the first staff officer said in disbelief.
"Yes sir."the second staff officer answered.
"Then we can't use any moment for the viceroy to retreat."the first staff officer retorted. "Send air cover."
Euphemia notice something approaching on the monitor.
"No wait."Euphemia instructed. "Something's approaching the viceroy from behind."
On the High Road…
Tohdoh and the Four Holy Swords were driving on two trucks to make their way to the mountain path that will lead them to Narita.
"All units, are you ready?"Tohdoh asked.
"Yes, sir."Chiba, Asahina, Urabe and Senba said in unison.
"Alright, deploy the custom Burais!"Tohdoh ordered.
"Deploy!"Chiba, Asahina, Urabe and Senba answered.
Five Burais were brought up to the top of the moving trucks.
The first Burai at the lead had a beige colour while the other four Burais were dark grey.
Each of the five Burais had a katana-like weapon (known as Burai Kai) attached to it.
"Listen carefully."Tohdoh instructed firmly. "If this landslide was manmade, it should allow us to hit Cornelia from behind. Capture Cornelia now. Take revenge for what happened seven years ago."
"Yes sir!"Chiba, Asahina, Urabe and Senba responded. "By the honour of the Four Holy Swords!"
In the Narita Mountains…
Tohdoh's Burai, the Zangetsu, appeared in the area where Cornelia and her soldiers were.
"What?!"Cornelia snarled.
"Protect her highness!"Guilford ordered.
The Zangetsu began attacking by using his Burai Kai's Revolving Break Sword to cut a Sutherland down.
Tohdoh then followed up with another attack against another Sutherland that charged towards him, but was able to take his opponent down.
"Surround them!"Tohdoh ordered.
"The Japan Liberation Front?"Cornelia assumed.
"Slash and encircle!"Tohdoh ordered.
"Right!"Chiba, Asahina, Urabe and Senba replied.
The Zangetsu destroyed another Sutherland as the other Burais went to their positions.
"These are not just any Burais."Tohdoh said.
"This reminds me of seven years ago."Asahina remarked.
"But it's different now."Chiba commented. "This time we have Knightmares as well."
Guilford contacted Cornelia.
"Your highness, leave them to us."Guilford insisted. "Please you have to withdraw for now."
"Very well."Cornelia replied. "I know a way to turn this around. Guilford."
"Yes."Guilford answered.
"After you drive them back, meet me over at point nine."Cornelia ordered.
"Nine?"Guilford asked. "I understand."
Two Burais charged towards Cornelia's Gloucester.
"Cornelia!"Urabe and Senba shouted.
"You weaklings."Cornelia scowled.
Cornelia's Gloucester countered the attacks of the two Burais before knocking them away before she began making her way to the area to escape.
Suddenly, the Rosen showed up and took down one of the Sutherlands with her blade.
"Hello, Cornelia."Shade greeted smugly. "I'm Zero's right hand, Shade. So lovely to meet you face to face."
"Zero's right hand?"Cornelia scoffed. "Is that man so cowardly to send one of his spawns to face me instead of himself?"
"Princess Cornelia, leave her to us."Guilford insisted. "Fall back just like we agreed to."
"Very well."Cornelia said simply.
"No, you don't!"Shade retorted.
The Rosen attempted to stop Cornelia's Gloucester from fleeing, but quickly unleashed her Slash Harken to block a Sutherland that came in front of her.
"Die, you pest!"the pilot retorted.
The Sutherland opened fire with his machine gun, making the Rosen jump back and block the attack with her blade-like weapon.
The Rosen slashed off the Sutherland's machine gun before cutting down her opponent.
The Gekka came to the Rosen's side.
"Are you alright, Shade?"Rai asked.
"I'm fine, Rai."Shade answered and notice Cornelia was gone."Nellie got away. I guess it is up to you and the rest, Lelouch."
The masked brunette then got contacted Tohdoh.
"Looks like neither of us were able to catch Cornelia, Shade."Tohdoh stated.
"I wouldn't be so sure, Sensei."Shade replied with a smug smile. "She took the bait."
"Huh?"Urabe said in confusion.
"What do you mean?"Chiba questioned.
"You guys have to trust us on this one."Rai insisted.
From his Burai, Zero got contacted by Naoto.
"Zero, I got a call from my sister."Naoto stated. "Cornelia left her royal guard and heading for your position now."
"Understood."Zero responded. "What of Shade and her group?"
"They're helping the Four Holy Swords distract the Royal Guard."Naoto admitted.
A smirk sprung on Zero's face.
"Good."Zero sneered. "They'll hold off the royal guard which is just what we need."
Inside the Base of the Japan Liberation Front…
Tohdoh contacted General Katase.
"I'm sorry for the late arrival, General."Tohdoh apologised.
General Katase and the soldiers of the JLF became overjoyed at seeing Tohdoh.
"Tohdoh."General Katase remarked. "We've been waiting."
"General, please send all remaining units to join me here."Tohdoh instructed.
"Can you beat them?"General Katase questioned.
"Yes. But only if we can hold off their main force."Tohdoh admitted."We have a chance now to turn the entire war around."
The Zangetsu was fighting against Guilford's Gloucester.
"I've heard Area 11 has a formidable commander, their shining knight."Guilford thought. "Is this him? Tohdoh?"
Cornelia's Knight then made his decision.
"Fine."Guilford replied."Let him try me."
Shade brought her attention back to the remaining enemy pilots that were still active.
"Shall we make this quick?"Rai suggested.
Shade smirked. "Sure."
The JLF Burais made contact with the modified black Burais and Sutherlands all owned by the Black Knights and were immediately overwhelmed what was left of Cornelia's forces.
Darlton and his unit shot back using their launchers at the cannons within the mountains.
"At a time like this?"Darlton retorted.
"What do we do?"A soldier asked.
"Fall back!"Darlton ordered. "We have to find a way to link up with Viceroy Cornelia!"
"But, sir! Their main base is right in front of us!"A second soldier protested. "And if we're hit from behind we'll be wiped out!"
"You fool!"Darlton scowled. "If Princess Cornelia is taken by these Elevens this entire battle is lost!"
"Y..yes, sir."the second soldier answered nervously.
Suddenly, the ground that Darlton and two Sutherlands stood on began to crumble.
As a result, the two Sutherlands fell down.
In the G1 Mobile Base…
The staff officers were trying to encourage Euphemia to use the G1 to go help Cornelia.
"Sub-Viceroy Euphemia you must act now to prevent disaster."the first staff officer insisted. "Send in the G1!"
"No."Euphemia replied.
"But Commander Guilford is completely pinned down."the second staff officer argued. "He can't get to Cornelia. Her life is at stake here."
"We can't. There's a field hospital right here and civilians."Euphemia admitted. "They've been evacuated from all over the area and brought to this point. Besides, the G1 base is a command center. The viceroy ordered me not to move it no matter what, that's why…I just can't."
Suddenly, the screen showed Lloyd, Cecile and Suzaku which caused Euphemia and the staff officers to become surprised.
"Well, hello there."Lloyd greeted. "The ASEEC crew reporting for duty."
"Insolence!"the third staff officer snapped.
"You are irregulars!"the fourth staff officer scowled. "Your orders are to keep silent and observe!"
"Yes sir, normally we would but.."Cecile started.
"But all of this waiting around is boring."Lloyd finished.
Suzaku looked at Euphemia.
"Sub-viceroy Euphemia, I beseech you."Suzaku responded. "Please order us into the battle."
"How transparent."the first staff officer retorted. "You just want the glory of rescuing the Viceroy."
"Our whole army is out there."the second staff officer commented. "You think one unit is going to change things with an Eleven pilot?"
Lloyd kept smiling despite the staff officers' doubts on Suzaku.
"Right, right. But what's the harm in trying?"Lloyd suggested. "Since it's just one unit it won't look bad for you if we lose, right?"
"Euphie."Suzaku whispered.
Euphemia heard Suzaku call her by her nickname.
"Yes, I understand."Euphemia responded. "Please do it."
"We got it."Lloyd sneered.
"Thank you very much."Cecile thanked gratefully.
"Right, I won't fail."Suzaku vowed firmly.
The Zangetsu kept fighting Guilford's Gloucester while the Rosen and the Gekka helped the other Burais take down the remaining Sutherlands.
Rai's Gekka gun down a Sutherland before using his red claw's Radiant Wave Surger to make it explode.
The Rosen unleashed her Slash Harkens to knock a Sutherland off its feet before leaping up and cut its head off to destroy it.
"Damn it."Tohdoh retorted. "He's fierce."
Guilford's Gloucester takes out a Chaos Mine causing Tohdoh to alarm his comrades.
"Scatter!"Tohdoh ordered.
Chiba, Senba and Asahina's Burais moved out of the way like the Zangetsu from being hit by Guilford's Chaos Mine.
Urabe contacted Tohdoh.
"Lieutenant Colonel, what about Cornelia?"Urabe asked.
"If Zero's the man I think he is, he's moving into position right now."Tohdoh admitted. "We've got to trust him like Sumeragi said."
A soldier contacted Guilford as he struggled against Tohdoh's Burai.
"What?"Guilford questioned. "Zero's on the move?"
"Right."A soldier answered. "We'll keep going and come over and back you up."
"Never mind that now."Guilford stated. "Just track Zero."
"Yes sir."the soldier replied. "This is his projected course."
Guilford became alarmed at seeing Zero's movement.
"The Princess was trying to trap Tohdoh. Now there's a Knightmare waiting for her."Guilford said in fear and contacted his princess. "Princess Cornelia!"
"I got the message, Guilford."Cornelia replied.
In the ASEEC Trailer…
Suzaku activated the Lancelot, ready to help Cornelia in the battle.
"Advanced weapon system Z01 Lancelot."Cecile reported. "Utilise sand-panels to climb liquified slope at max combat speed and rescue the Viceroy."
"Yes, my Lord."Suzaku responded.
"Suzaku, there's one thing I want to ask you."Lloyd said.
"What's that?"Suzaku asked.
"More than anything, you hate when people die."Lloyd stated. "Yet, you are in the military. Why is that?"
"I'm in the military to stop people from dying."Suzaku answered.
"And that self-contradiction will get you killed someday."Lloyd sneered and got grabbed by the collar from Cecile. "Ugh, sorry about that."
"Lancelot, now launching…"Suzaku commented.
Then Suzaku launched the Lancelot and drove through the path to reach the 2nd Princess of Britannia.
Kallen's Guren MK-II faced off against Cornelia's Gloucester.
"CORNELIA!"Kallen roared out.
"Lowborn scum!"Cornelia snarled.
Cornelia's Gloucester fired her Machine Gun, but the Guren dodged the attack.
The Goddess of Victory then charged at the Guren with her Jousting Lance, Kallen then dodged that as well and jumped back.
"What's this?"Cornelia said in disbelief. "That's not just a customised unit."
Above the two Knightmares, Zero's Burai stood in the higher ground with Naoto and Tamaki at his side.
"Can you hear me, Cornelia?"Zero asked through his loudspeakers. "This is checkmate."
"Zero."Cornelia snarled.
"Yes. Should we cerebrate our reunion?"Zero asked smugly. "Of course, you'll have to surrender to us first. And after that, there are a few questions I want to ask you. And in case you are wondering, your reinforcements won't get here in time since my right hand is keeping them occupied. I win, Cornelia."
"You are a fool, Zero."Cornelia snarled and looked at the Guren. "This one. If I take this one out, I'm free and clear!"
Cornelia's Gloucester aimed her rifle directly at the Guren Mk-II before firing at it.
But the Guren easily dodged the shots by jumping forward from side to side and closing in on Cornelia.
Cornelia fired her Slash Harken, but the Guren deflected it with its Fork Knife.
"You've got some moves!"Cornelia stated.
The purple haired princess then made her Gloucester lunge her Jousting Lance at the Guren.
However, the female red haired pilot was able to catch it with the Guren's sliver claw arm and grab hold of it.
Kallen then used the Radiant Wave Surger and the Jousting Lance along with the Gloucester's arm swelled up.
"Ugh!"Cornelia shouted.
Cornelia detached the Gloucester's arm before it quickly exploded afterwards.
The Goddess of Victory tried to attack again, but her Gloucester's remaining arm got shot and blown off as well.
Cornelia looked behind and became more angry when she saw Zero's Burai holding his Machine Gun.
"Coward!"Cornelia scowled. "Attacking from behind!"
"Really?"Zero asked with a smirk. "And your own attack methods don't show acts of cowardice?"
Darlton and his unit were losing more forces since they were getting attacked from both sides.
"They've launched a pincer assault before we could regroup."Darlton retorted. "I'll never be able to reach the Princess now."
Shade's Rosen, Rai's Gekka and the Burais of the Four Holy Sword have gotten rid of their enemy Knightmares, leaving Guilford's Gloucester the only one standing.
The Rosen contacted Tohdoh's Burai.
"Sensei, me and Rai will be leaving now to join our team."Shade informed.
"Very well, Shade."Tohdoh responded. "Until next time."
Shade nodded before she made the Rosen take off with the Gekka following her from behind.
"Lieutenant Colonel, we've crashed the enemy reinforcements."Senba reported.
"Right."Tohdoh replied and gave out an order. "Switch to Spinning Life Or Death formation."
"Yes, sir!"Chiba, Asahina, Urabe and Senba replied in unison.
The Four Holy Swords surrounded Guilford's Gloucester.
"If this goes on, Princess Cornelia will be…"Guilford started.
Cornelia then contacted from her Gloucester.
"Guilford. Guilford, my knight."Cornelia spoke up."You and Darlton protect Euphie."
"Your highness!"Guilford said in shock.
A faint smile sprung on Cornelia's face.
"I won't surrender."Cornelia declared in a determined tone. "As an imperial princess, I'll fight to the last."
The 2nd Princess of Britannia made her armless Gloucester charge slowly towards the Guren MK-II.
"Princess Cornelia!"Guilford yelled out.
A slight annoyed expression appeared on Zero's face.
"She is so predictable."Zero murmured.
All of the sudden, the Lancelot crushed through the land at high speed and a blast occurred through the valley.
When the smoke cleared, the white Knightmare revealed himself with the VARIS rifle in hand.
In the ASEEC Trailer…
From the monitor, Lloyd and Cecile saw Suzaku's entrance.
"Oh my!"Cecile gasped.
Lloyd held his bruised eye.
"As reckless as ever, eh?"Lloyd chuckled. "He's used the VARIS to clear the obstacles in his path."
The Lancelot went over to the armless Gloucester.
"Viceroy, are you all right?"Suzaku asked. "I came to help, your Highness."
"Special Corp?"Cornelia questioned. "Who authorised you?"
Zero and the Black Knights recognised the Lancelot straight away.
"Hey, isn't that Knightmare?"Tamaki asked.
"Yeah."Naoto retorted with a frown. "The one from Shinjuku and Lake Kawaguchi."
Zero became furious seeing the Lancelot appear in the Narita Mountains as well as come to interfere with his plans.
"Again?! It's him again?!"Zero scowled and contacted his lover. "Shade, you should head to our location as fast as you can. Britannia's White Knight has made his unwanted appearance again."
"Oh, him."Shade scoffed."I'm already on my way with Rai."
Zero then gave Kallen an order.
"Guren MK-II, destroy that unit immediately!"Zero ordered. "It's interfered with us enough!"
"Right!"Kallen responded.
The Guren MK-II charged towards the Lancelot.
Suzaku notice the red Knightmare coming towards him.
The Lancelot fired two shots from the VARIS rifle at the Guren, only for both of the shots to get dodged.
Then the Guren caught the Lancelot's kick with its sliver arm before Kallen activated the Radiant Wave Surger.
This caused the Sand Panel around the Lancelot's leg to swell up and Suzaku quickly detached it before it exploded.
"You handle that thing."Cornelia ordered. "I'll take out Zero."
Cornelia made her armless Gloucester fire its Slash Harkens at Zero's Burai, but Zero moved back and dodge from being hit.
"Now, you'll pay for Shinjuku!"Kallen declared.
The Guren charged towards the Lancelot, only to get knocked back by her opponent.
The Lancelot tried shooting at the Guren again, but the red Knightmare dodged again.
"Huh?"Suzaku said in surprise. "It's as fast as the Lancelot?"
Suzaku then made his Lancelot drew his MVS and then kept shooting at the Guren.
The Guren dodged its opponent's attacks as Kallen made it come closer.
"If I could take it down…"Kallen murmured.
Suzaku kicked at the Lancelot's other Sand Panel at her from a distance.
However, Kallen knocks the Sand Panel away with the Guren's Fork Knife and then jumped in the air landing right in front of the Lancelot.
Kallen tried using the Guren to kick the Lancelot, then slashed him with her sliver claw, but the white Knightmare dodged the attack.
Then both of the two Knightmares jumped in the air and landed a safe distance away from each other.
The Guren charged at the Lancelot again.
The Lancelot fired its Slash Harkens, but the Guren used its Radiant Wave Surger to destroy them.
"Is that all you've got?!"Kallen asked.
Suzaku gritted his teeth in frustration.
The Lancelot tried to launch a kick at the Guren, only to miss once more.
Suzaku then swung his MVS at the Guren, but the Guren catches it with its sliver claw arm and activates the Radiant Wave Surger.
This caused the Lancelot's MVS to get destroyed.
Suzaku fired the VARIS again and Kallen used the Radiant Wave Surger to block the shot.
"Blocked?!"Suzaku said in disbelief.
The Lancelot eventually pushed the Guren MK-II off a cliff, damaging its right hand.
"Hey, Kallen!"Naoto yelled out. "Are you okay?!"
"I am, Naoto."Kallen responded.
Naoto sighed in relief as Zero contacted him.
"Naoto!"Zero shouted. "How's the Guren MK-ll?!"
"The right hand is wrecked."Naoto said in shock. "We've got to fix it."
Then the Rosen showed up next to Zero's Burai with Rai's Gekka.
Zero contacted Shade.
"Hey."Shade greeted.
"Glad you've made it, Shade."Zero complemented. "You're right on time."
A slight smile sprung on Shade's lips.
"Aren't I always?"Shade questioned before becoming serious. "You guys should make your escape. I'll handle the White Reaper."
"Are you sure?"Zero asked with a hint of concern.
"I was trained to pilot a Knightmare by Marianne the Flash, the former Knight of Six."Shade remarked. "And learned to wield a sword by Cornelia, remember?"
Zero smirked at his girlfriend's respond.
"Right."Zero murmured and then contacted the rest of the Black Knights. "Retreat! All Black Knights move to your escape points! We have wiped Cornelia's forces and all is left for Shade to destroy the Lancelot! Retreat!"
All of the Black Knights (except for the Rosen) began making their leave from the battlefield.
The Lancelot went towards Cornelia's armless Gloucester.
"Viceroy?"Suzaku asked.
"Go after Zero."Cornelia ordered.
"But…"Suzaku started.
"My energy filler still has enough to escape."Cornelia exclaimed. "Go!"
"Right!"Suzaku answered.
Shade brought her attention on the Lancelot as she made the Rosen go on its fighting position.
"So you're the famous pilot that lately has been appearing a lot. Lancelot, right?"Shade assumed and then made the Rosen point her blade-like weapon at her opponent. "I'm Zero's right hand, Shade. And if you want to get to Zero, you'll have to go through me first."
A frown appeared on Suzaku's face.
"So you won't surrender?"Suzaku asked.
"That's out of the question."Shade informed. "I'm the Black Queen. Men fight wars, women win them."
"I'll make this quick then."Suzaku admitted.
The Lancelot and the Rosen prepared to fight each other.
The Rosen held its blade-like weapon as the Lancelot took out his VARIS rifle.
After a gust of wind flew by between them, the two Knightmares began their fight.
The Lancelot started firing at the Rosen as the hot pink Knightmare rushed towards him.
The Rosen dodged the Lancelot's shots before jumping over him.
The Rosen launched towards the Lancelot again, sword raised, only to meet with his MVS.
"You have got skills, White Reaper."Shade complemented. "It's a real shame you are wasting them for no purpose at all."
Shade made the Rosen swung its blade to push the Lancelot back causing the white Knightmare to jump a few blocks away.
"I'm not wasting my skills."Suzaku replied with a frown. "I'm trying to change Britannia from within, so that Japan won't have to go through pain and suffering anymore!"
The Lancelot tried to kick the Rosen's legs to bring it down.
The Rosen jumped to avoid the kick and unleashed its Slash Harkens to hit the Lancelot.
"You're joking, right?"Shade questioned in disgust. "If you think that, this means you're utterly stupid!"
The Lancelot threw a punch at the Rosen, sending her back.
"I know there are many Elevens supporting Zero and the Black Knights from the shadows."Suzaku commented. "But the methods you're all using are very wrong."
The Rosen attempted to use its claw arm to hit the Lancelot's head.
However, the Lancelot unleashed its Slash Harken causing the Rosen to get hit and drop its blade from the other side.
A scowl escaped Shade's mouth as the Lancelot took out his VARIS rifle to end her life.
"Shade, this is the end of you."Suzaku declared.
However, a smirk sprung on Shade's lips as the Rosen's other hand let go three small bombs which rolled towards the Lancelot's feet.
"Are you sure of that?"Shade asked.
Suzaku became confused before his eyes widen when he notice the little bombs evaporating a bit.
BOOM!
The three small bombs exploded causing the Lancelot's feet to get stuck in strange pink sticky substance.
"What the?!"Suzaku said in shock.
The Lancelot tried to move, but wasn't able to.
The Rosen retrieved her weapon and placed it behind its back before jumping to the high ground to make her escape.
"Thank you for the duel, White Reaper."Shade thanked. "I've really enjoyed myself. I look forward on doing that again."
"So you're just going to leave now?"Suzaku questioned. "By letting me live?"
"Don't get the wrong idea."Shade warned in a strict tone. "The next time we meet, you are a goner."
The Rosen gives a bow before making her escape.
From his cockpit, Suzaku frowned at being defeated as Lloyd and Cecile contacted him.
"Major Kururugi."Lloyd said.
"Is everything alright, Suzaku?"Cecile asked.
"I'm fine, Miss Cecile."Suzaku answered with a small smile and thought."Sorry, Euphie. I let you down."
In the Streets…
Two Code-R researchers were in a truck to try and escape Narita.
Suddenly, an injured Jeremiah walked on the road which caused them to stop their truck in front of him.
"Ugh."the first researcher scowled. "Another soldier."
"No wonder our battalions fell apart."the second researcher retorted.
Jeremiah was using a long stick since he was struggling to walk and held his injured eye with his free hand.
"I swear I'm not Orange!"Jeremiah cried out weakly. "Zero!"
Jeremiah then fell to the ground and became unconscious.
Later that Evening…
Cornelia's armless Gloucester went through the forest to arrive at where the G-1 was located as she spoke to Guilford.
"Guilford, relay this message to all units."Cornelia ordered with a frown. "We have to face facts. We've been defeated this time."
Somewhere in the Narita Mountains…
The Black Knights cheered over defeating Cornelia's forces in the Narita Mountains.
"Yeah!"Tamaki sneered. "We have showed those Britannians who they were dealing with!"
Naoto smiled at his friend.
"You're right about that, Tamaki."Naoto agreed. "With Zero's help, we were able to do the impossible."
The Rosen arrived to join the Black Knights before Shade came out of her Knightmare to go up to her companions.
"Rin."Kallen remarked. "You've made it."
Shade took off her mask to reveal her face.
"Yeah."Rin responded and let out a sigh. "Though I've got to admit the pilot in the Lancelot is quite difficult to handle."
Naoto walked up to his younger sister and friend.
"Don't worry."Naoto assured. "You two will get him next time."
Kallen nodded in agreement.
"You damn right we will, big brother."Kallen said with a confident smile.
Rin smiled at her cheering companions before noticing Zero standing by himself next to his Burai.
The brunette walked up to her masked leader.
"We need to talk."Rin declared softly.
"I know, Rin."Zero responded.
The Black Knights have won the Battle of Narita!
