-Chapter Two Hundred and Five-

"Oh! When you put it that way, it all makes sense!" Usopp brightened upon hearing Nami's hasty explanation. "I don't remember beating up all those guys, but I guess I am pretty strong" he proudly grinned, not questioning anything the ginger said. I raised an eyebrow as I looked toward Nami, watching as she nervously laughed—nodding in agreement with whatever the sharpshooter said.

Yep, she's lying.

"I don't know what you did, but nice save..." I whispered, patting her back as she heaved a sigh of relief once she knew that she was in the clear and was no longer at risk of being chewed out by the sharpshooter. Everything was calm after that as everyone wandered off to do their own thing.

"Hey, guys! I think I see an island!" Usopp eventually shouted from the crow's nest after a good amount of time had passed by.

"Well that didn't take long" I whistled, impressed by how quickly we had come upon land after leaving Foxy and his men behind.

"Looks uninhabited to me" Nami remarked after peering through the telescope in her hands and getting a good look at the island we were now approaching.

"Ready the anchor!" Luffy eagerly grinned. "Let's go check it out!"

"Find me some ingredients and I'll start cooking lunch" Sanji said the second we set foot on the island after docking.

"Alright" we nodded.

"Listen! Nothing slimy or gross, okay?" Nami frowned, clapping her hands to get everyone's attention as she made her request.

"You're so picky" I teased, laughing at the pointed look she gave.

"Why does it matter? Once it's in your stomach, it's all the same—get over yourself" Zoro scoffed before wincing as Nami knocked him to the ground. "Ow!" he snapped, harshly glaring up the woman.

"I mean, you're right to an extent, but you could have been nicer about it" I smiled as I peered down at him from where he was sprawled out on the ground, causing him to grumble.

-Later-

"Hey, Sanji! We got fish, fruit, and everything!" Luffy shouted as we returned to our makeshift camp. "It was easy" he brightly smiled.

"Aw, want me to kiss it better?" I teasingly asked when I saw that the bump on Zoro's head was still noticeable. "What was that?" I asked when all he did was grumble with a blush. "No? Well okay then" I grinned, laughing when I felt him grab my shoulder and prevent me from getting too far ahead of him.

"Nice work!" Sanji grinned as we handed him our findings before setting to work on getting lunch started.

"Cheers!" we cheered once he was done, holding and clicking our cups together in celebration of our meal.

"Yummy!" Luffy brightened as he proceeded to stuff his face without a second thought.

"It'd taste a lot better if you didn't scarf it down" Sanji scolded.

"He's like a vacuum when he eats—he can't take his time" I chuckled, holding up a forkful of food to Zoro who only hummed in agreement as he took a bite.

"Look at you two lovebirds sharing a plate of food" Nami teased, making kissy-face toward us before giggling as I childishly stuck my tongue out at her.

"Don't make me come over there and start feeding you instead" I playfully threatened.

"Oh no, whatever will I do having a cute girl feeding me?" Nami sarcastically asked, causing me to giggle.

"I figured you wouldn't have any room left for dinner since you ate up all the snacks on the ship" Usopp remarked, watching as Luffy practically inhaled his food.

"I'm just getting warmed up" Luffy said.

"Pfft! This is just your warm-up stage? Good Lord, man!" I laughed, eating a bit of food myself before going back to feeding Zoro. "What are you? A bottomless pit?" I grinned.

"That's not good since we've decimated half of our goods already" Sanji frowned, not happy to hear that the captain had already decimated our snack supplies on the ship.

"Robin, you better eat fast before all the food's gone" Chopper said once he noticed that the older woman still hadn't gotten herself a plate and instead was still reading.

"Yeah, Luffy's inhaling everything in sight—I'd hurry if I were you" I agreed.

"Just let me get to a stopping point first" Robin said, not ready to stop reading just yet.

"Okay, but I heard that if you read too much you turn into a yucky bug!" Chopper worriedly frowned.

"Where'd you hear that?" I giggled.

"It's true!" Chopper defended as Robin chuckled in amusement. "They call them bookworms!"

"Oh? I don't know about you, but turning into a worm sounds pretty cool" I grinned, causing the reindeer to huff a little.

"Yeah, you would say that" Nami snorted.

"No responsibilities—you just get to chill in the dirt and nothing more" I shrugged before blinking. "Um..what is that?" I asked upon spotting the giant, metal crab that suddenly came on shore.

"Is that who I think it is?" Sanji asked once we spotted Hamburg, Porche, and Foxy inside the "crab."

"Who else would be that stupid?" Usopp deadpanned.

"Don't these guys have anything better to do?" Nami huffed.

"Apparently not" I sighed.

"I caught a crab!" Luffy excitedly shouted as he grabbed one of the metal crab's legs. "Let's eat it!" he grinned, already starting to drool.

"He's…he's kidding, right?" Sanji blinked.

"I hope so" I sweat dropped.

"Nope, and I think he's about to get a nasty surprise" Usopp shook his head.

"Hey, come back! You look yummy!" Luffy shouted when the "crab" suddenly tried to run away from him before popping open and spilling a foam-like substance onto the rubber man as it swung one at him with one of its metal claws. "Hey, now! You better learn your place if you know what's good for you, crab!" the captain huffed as he picked up the metal crab. "Now, open up because I'm going to eat you!" and with that, he lifted it high above his head before violently slamming it back down into the ground, causing it to explode on impact. "Wow! I can't believe you guys got eaten by that big crab" he said as Foxy and his two crewmembers came spilling out of the broken crab.

"He can't be that stupid..." I mumbled, shaking my head in disbelief.

"You'd be surprised" Zoro hummed.

"That's pretty lame" Luffy frowned, insulting the three as he tried to eat one of the crab legs only to find that his teeth couldn't penetrate through the metal.

"Get that out of your mouth!" Usopp snapped.

"Now that that's taken care of, let's get back to our barbecue" Sanji suggested.

"All that crab bashing worked up my appetite" Luffy grinned as I snuggled against Zoro's side, smiling as he pressed small kisses to my cheek while wrapping an arm around me.

"Hey, that isn't done cooking yet!" Sanji snapped when the captain attempted to eat something he wasn't supposed to.

"Whatever, still tastes good to me" Luffy shrugged.

"Come on, boss—I want barbecue too!" Porche whined as her stomach started to growl from where she and her other crewmates sat.

"Well, too bad!" Foxy snapped. "We didn't come here to eat, we came here to fight! But don't worry, cause soon we'll taste—"

"Thank you for waiting, mademoiselle" Sanji grinned, kicking Foxy away as he presented the young woman with lots of food. "I hope my barbecue special is to your liking!" he cooed.

"Oh, you bet!" Porche brightened, sparkling at the sight of the food being offered to her.

"Here you go, help yourself" he said, handing her a plate as Hamburg started to laugh as if amused by the blonde's over-the-top behavior toward the young woman.

"Wow! This is positively scrumptious!" Porche praised, causing the blond to wiggle around in excitement. "Why don't you come to boss' ship and be our cook?" she flirtatiously offered.

"Oh no! Don't tempt me—if you ask, I might have to say yes!" Sanji swooned.

"Please, by all means—don't let me stop you" Zoro deadpanned before grunting as I smacked his chest

"Come on now, behave" I lightly scolded.

"Hi, it's me" Porche greeted as she got into contact with the rest of the crew on the Sexy Foxy. "Boss is knocked out, so we're done here—come and get us, okay" she said, letting them know she and the other two were ready to get picked up. "Don't worry, he'll be fine...alright then, see you in a second" she finished, hanging up the Transponder Snail once she knew the others were coming. "Bye-bye, Mr. Cook, I'll never forget your yummy barbecue—it touched my heart!" she waved.

"Take care, Porche—I'll miss you!" Sanji wildly waved back as the three's ship finally arrived and picked them up.

"Are you sure you don't want to go back with her?" Zoro asked.

"No way! You may not appreciate good food, but Nami, Skylar, and Robin deserve nothing less than the best!" Sanji scowled. "Right, Nami? Skylar?" he asked as Nami and I made our way over to the others who were ready to start exploring the island more thoroughly for any potential supplies.

"Come on, guys—let's go!" Nami called back to the two. "We still need to stock up on emergency supplies."

"Yeah, hurry up, Zoro" I nodded. "We wouldn't want you getting lost" I teased.

"O-oi!" Zoro flustered.

"Wait for me, Nami-swan!" Sanji cooed, quickly racing after us like a love tornado as the swordsman followed closely behind while lowly grumbling to himself.

-Later-

"Hey, Chopper, did you find any new herbs to use?" Usopp curiously asked as we started making our way back through the island and toward the shoreline with the supplies and food we had collected.

"This place has all sorts of neat stuff—I got a good stock, but I'm still looking in case I miss something" Chopper answered. "Which reminds me, I noticed something weird a second ago" he suddenly said.

"What's that?" I asked.

"Well, there's a little groove along the trail here" Chopper pointed, causing me to curiously look down to see that he was right. "I wonder what it is" he pondered.

"Well, you're right, that is weird" Usopp nodded in agreement. "Looks like a bicycle or something came through here" he noted.

"A bicycle...?" I muttered, intensely staring down at the groove to see that he was right—the groove in the dirt did indeed match what one would expect a bicycle's tires to leave behind. "Strange..." I mumbled.

"Come on, that doesn't make any sense" Sanji frowned. "There's nobody else on the island, why would there be a bicycle?"
