-Chapter Two Hundred and Twenty-One-

"That idiot! What about the plan?!" Nami and Zoro snapped. "I thought we weren't going to rush into anything!"

"Is this really all that surprising though?" I sighed as I pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Too late..." Chopper muttered.

-Later-

"I know he doesn't listen to me, it's crazy, but I thought maybe he'd listen to his own advice!" Nami frowned as we ran towards the Galley-La building in some vain attempt to catch up with our captain.

"That's asking a bit too much, don't you think?" I raised an eyebrow.

"We are talking about Luffy" Zoro said.

"Hey, guys, do you think that's Robin in the middle of all that commotion down at the Galley-La?" Chopper asked. "No matter what Luffy decided to do, we still got to be careful" he reminded us.

"Yeah, I know, but him rushing in like that might actually work in our favor" Nami grinned. "If you think of the way he does things, is he the kind of guy who's going to go through the back or side entrance?" she asked.

"Not his style" Zoro shook his head.

"He sure loves to make an entrance" I smiled.

"No way" Chopper responded.

"So, I'm pretty sure by now he's made a go in barging straight through the front door and it's safe to assume that right now he's running around crazy because he has no idea where he's going, don't you think?" Nami smirked.

"Oh yeah" Zoro nodded.

"Yep" I hummed.

"That's him" Chopper agreed.

"Uh-huh, and from the shipwrights' point of view, he's the leader of the group that attacked Iceburg—so if he made it in there by now, all of those guys are going to be busy trying to catch him" Nami pointed out.

"Which would mean that the guards would be thinned out at the door" I smiled, quick to catch on to what she was saying.

"Or the very least they're completely distracted, so the safest way in right now is through the front—right behind all the chaos in Luffy's wake" Nami grinned.

"So, if he does it, it's completely stupid" Zoro nodded. "But if we do the exact same thing, it's actually a very brilliant plan, huh?" he smirked.

"Yeah, makes sense, I say we should go for it then" Chopper agreed.

"The gate is right up ahead" Nami said as we now started to near the company's entrance. "Okay, ready?" she asked.

"It's showtime" Zoro nodded.

"Here we go!" Chopper huffed as we all jumped over the fence and onto the company's property.

"Oh shit!" I cursed the minute we all spotted the alarmingly large amount of guards that were still guarding the front entrance.

"This was a dumb idea!" we all cried out.

"We've found them!" one of the men shouted the minute they spotted us.

"It's Roronoa Zoro!"

"Shoot them!"

"Don't let them get away!"

"If Luffy isn't here, then where is he?!" Nami cried as we ran from the crowd, doing our best to avoid the bullets that were shot at us.

"I don't know, why are you asking me?!" Zoro snapped.

"Well wherever he is, it's clearly not here!" I shouted.

"What now?" Nami asked as Chopper screamed in fright.

"Well, they already found us, so there's no point in trying to be sneaky" Zoro sighed. "The only thing left to do now is to go on the offense" he suggested.

"Wait! What do you think you're doing?!" Nami asked as we all came to a screeching halt.

"Running in circles around the building won't do us any good" Zoro said. "If we want to find Robin, then we're going to have to force our way through" he pointed out.

"Yeah, but those are just shipwrights—they're not bad guys!" Chopper cried out.

"You can't go cutting them down all willy nilly" I frowned.

"Then I'll use the back of my swords" Zoro said as he drew his three swords and rushed towards the group of men.

"You can still kill people like that, you know?!" Nami and Chopper snapped as I couldn't help but give a breathless laugh as my hand reached up and rested against my chest as I recalled mine and Zoro's fight back on Fair Haven. Even if he used the back of his swords, the force of his attacks was always still strong enough to cut flesh if he wasn't careful—maybe not in a deep enough manner to require stitches, but still enough to draw blood like a cat scratch. Honestly, losing to him back then was so refreshing as I had been so used to fighting just normal people—pirates without abilities and regular people whose strengths could never compare to someone like Zoro's. I had known that day I wasn't going to win against him no matter if I played on the defense or offense nor if I had gotten distracted or not, I knew right from the moment they put him up against me I was going to lose because our strength was too far apart and I wasn't afraid to admit that. He wasn't normal, he wasn't average...he was on an entirely different level compared to me.

I was pleased that I lasted as long as I did against him...I knew I wasn't weak as I could decently hold up my own against anyone that didn't have mystical abilities like Luffy or an insane amount of strength like Zoro. I knew I was stronger than most people in that god awful village and that I was stronger than most of the normal pirates and everyday people that had the misfortune of coming to that island and getting forced into that little game of theirs. Fair Haven was an island that you avoided if you knew what went on inside of it just as much as it was an island you avoided if you strongly believed it was uninhabited due to it not being on any map. For someone like Luffy's crew to take that risk of stopping by just to stock up and rest was quite baffling to me back then seeing how most ships always stocked up and rested on any of the previous islands they had passed by before reaching Reverse Mountain.

"I used the backside, they're fine" Zoro reassured the two as he finished off the last of the shipwrights.

"I hope you're proud of yourself, beating those poor shipwrights!" Nami snapped. "Skylar, stop messing with their unconscious body!" she scowled the minute she saw that I was lightly poking at one of the unconscious men with my foot.

"You're so strong, Zoro!" Chopper praised as he sparkled.

"Our hero" I sarcastically said, giving a cheeky grin as the swordsman narrowed his eyes for a minute before he grinned.

"Whatever, might as well go ahead" Nami heavily sighed as she turned around and started to make her way towards the entrance.

"Zoro, this way" Chopper motioned as he and I started to follow after Nami.

"Got it!" Zoro nodded before going the wrong way.

"No, over here!" I snapped.

"We're leading the way for you, stupid! How can you get lost already?!" Nami frowned.

"Oh, here?" Zoro questioned, still not going in the right direction.

"Zoro's gone—I think we lost him forever!" Chopper cried out.

"Is he doing this on purpose?" Nami whined.

"No, he's just an idiot!" I huffed in irritaiton.

"Zoro, where did you go?!" the two cried out when they saw we had lost sight of him.

-Later-

"Come on, hurry!" Nami ordered as we rushed through the halls of the Galley-La building.

"Hey, you sure this is the right way?" Zoro asked.

"Don't even go there!" Nami snapped.

"Their injuries are pretty bad..." Chopper mumbled as he worriedly looked down at the wounded men we passed by.

"Just don't look, they'll get help when all this is over, I'm sure of it" I assured him.

"Alright, that has to be it—the closed door at the end of the hallway!" Nami pointed out as she motioned towards the large double doors at the end of the hall.

"Looks like a lot of people got hurt guarding that door" Chopper whimpered as we all started to slow down and allow Zoro to pass by us.

"Hey!" he snapped when he realized that we were all starting to lag behind.

"What are you waiting for?" Nami asked. "Cut down the doors and beat the bad guys, we're right behind you!" she urged.

"Hurry up!" she and Chopper encouraged.

"Come on, sweetie, we don't have all day!" I laughed at the irritated look he gave the three of us.

"Alright, I'll do it! But not because you told me to!" Zoro snapped as he cut down the doors which allowed the four of us to all come spilling inside of the room. We were greeted by the sight of a messy room filled with a lot of interesting people—some familiar and some not—as the first thing I noticed was Luffy and the giant hole in the wall...it didn't take a genius to figure out how the rubber man made his entrance.

"Robin, I've finally found you!" Luffy brightened, seeming relieved as he looked towards the raven-haired woman.

"Hey, Luffy, where were you when we had to beat up those shipwrights?" Zoro asked.

"I think the hole in the wall might answer that question" I said.

"Robin, why did you leave us?!" Chopper cried.

"Hold on a second!" Nami held her arms out as she stopped everyone from moving further into the room or saying anything else. "Something's not right here" she frowned.

"What do you mean?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Well, well, well" a man with a bird on his shoulder said.

"Paulie! Straw Hats!" a wounded man groaned from the floor as he looked from us to a blond that was littered with bullet wounds.

"Iceburg!" Paulie grounded out through clenched teeth. "What is this? What the hell is going on?!" he angrily shouted as he looked around the room in both confusion and frustration.

"Paulie, dammit!" Iceburg cursed. "You should have run!" he frowned.

"No—what?! This doesn't make any sense!" Paulie stressed as he looked around at the people in the room in distress. "You're making it look like…like you guys were the ones who were after Iceburg, but that can't be, right?!" he desperately asked before screaming in anger when he didn't receive an answer right away from the people in the room. "What the hell are you doing with those weird costumes on?! Stop screwing with me here!

"Hey, Kalifa, Blueno, Kaku, Lucci—say something already, dammit!" he practically begged through a choked out sob.

"Oh yeah, those are the same guys that were back with you at the shipyard, right?" Luffy asked. "Right?" he repeated when he didn't receive an answer right away.

"Actually, that squared nose guy came to our ship" Zoro remembered.

"Yeah, he's the one that came to assess the damage that the Merry had taken if I remember correctly" I nodded in agreement.

"I see, then the attack on Iceburg was an inside job" Nami said.

"Wait, what?" Chopper questioned. "I don't get it!" he frowned in confusion.

"Paulie, in all honesty, we're secret agents working for the World Government" Lucci admitted. "But hey, you'll forgive me if I say I'm sorry, right? We were comrades, building ships together every day from dawn 'til dusk—I realize that this is quite sudden for you, so perhaps you'll believe me if I smash Iceburg's face" the way he sounded so calm as he said this sickened me.

"Just shut the hell up!" Paulie snapped. "I've heard enough—you were that guy in the bull mask, weren't you?! That was the first time I ever heard your voice, all those years you've never said a word, but you can talk just fine!" he sneered as he raised one of his legs and charged at the man. "I'll teach you to make fun of me!" he snarled.
